I Enjoy my new Lenovo P11 for it's portably and Large screen.
Fast an Colors are Brite, As well as Price is a good Value.
I would think i will have it for many years.
Oct 15, 2021 15:32Really nice standard mid-range tablet. Obviously its not gonna have all of the extra features an $800 tablet has, but I can say that it has many of them, and for my purposes it has most of them. Nice screen, large size, fast enough, good sound, good battery life, sleek, and Android based.
Nov 05, 2021 16:49Great tablet with well build quality, great battery life, I used daily for gaming and watching videos. I would recommend this product as a great buy.

The Lenovo tablet is good and last long on battery.
Nov 05, 2021 15:45Stand up to real-world challenges with the Galaxy Tab Active Pro, a rugged tablet designed to withstand harsh conditions and equipped with the latest digital workflow tools to maximize your team's productivity. It's ideal for industries like asset management, retail, transportation, manufacturing, field service and public safety.
This process started months ago. Best Buy would have the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro 10.1 in stock then out of stock frequently. It was out of stock for months. That forced me to order from Samsung Business. That turned into a nightmare, with the ship date being pushed more than 6 times. I needed this thing for an out-of-country trip. Then, like a gift from Heaven, Best Buy had them back in stock! And on Sale! And with price-match, I got it for over $200 less than the sorry Samsung Business (BTW, they did nothing to either remedy or even give me any type of confidence - I realize this was a one (1) unit sale, but their ineptitude has caused me to sever any future business with Samsung Business). Anyway, I couldn't be more happier with the purchase. The only, and I mean only detractor or negative is that this ruggedized tablet is heavy, due to the larger battery. Small sacrifice for a great tab!
Sep 18, 2021 12:44Recreate cinema everywhere you go on the Lenovo Yoga Tab 11. Start with the stunning 2K display with Dolby Vision. Add in quad JBL speakers with Dolby Atmos moving audio tuned by Lenovo Premium Audio. It's cinema styled for smaller spaces.
I got the Lenovo Yoga Tab 11 128-GB (storm gray) discounted on Columbus Day weekend to replace my failed 5-yo Pixel C tablet, and it's been great. The 11-in LCD is sharp and bright without being overly large or unwieldy, and its very fast octacore Mediatek cpu is great for all tasks. We use this tablet for quick access to news, info, and videos on our living room loveseat and it doesn't disappoint - there's no lag, no waiting for task switching/launching, very snappy performance. The 128-GB is WAAY generous for our use but it does have a microSD port if you need more. We really like the built-in adjustable stand which doubles as a hand-grip when couch-surfing. The battery is long-lasting and it comes with its own USB-C fast charger. Both front and rear cameras are fine for a tablet though you'll likely use your smartphone instead. It comes with Android v11 and it might get v12 but this isn't something we care about. We highly recommend this tablet but wait for its sale pricing if you can.
Nov 05, 2021 18:07Great tablet and performance. Very attractive with the fabric cover and metal finish. It is a very premium product and has some good weight to it. Great purchase.

Excellent tablet, it has a crystal clear display and it performs well. I especially like the built in stand that allows it to stand or hang. The battery life is also very good. Works as expected.
Oct 01, 2021 16:30Working on learning all the new extra's I never had but so far it's great.
Sep 25, 2021 09:26Powerful. Easy to use. Versatile. The new iPad has a beautiful 10.2-inch Retina display, powerful A13 Bionic chip, an Ultra Wide front camera with Center Stage, and works with Apple Pencil and the Smart Keyboard.¹ iPad lets you do more, more easily. All for an incredible value.
We bought this 9th gen IPAD to upgrade an older one. Started to look at all options and decided on the 9th gen.If you have an iPhone and want a tablet, buy an IPAD. The operating systems are exact same!
Oct 23, 2021 06:10Device arrived on time and in perfect condition, I would highly recommend it. It does everything it promises and more.
Nov 19, 2021 17:58I love my new iPad. It is a great fit for my retired life.
Oct 22, 2021 18:02My son loves his new Apple iPad. Graphics are great! Early Christmas Gift!
Nov 20, 2021 06:45They do a great JB standing behind their service and products
Oct 29, 2021 16:06iPad Pro features the powerful Apple M1 chip with next-level performance and all-day battery life.³ The Liquid Retina display on the 11-inch iPad Pro is not only gorgeous, but super portable.¹ 5G cellular models give you blazing speeds away from Wi-Fi.² And a front camera with Center Stage keeps you in frame automatically during video calls. iPad Pro has pro cameras and a LiDAR Scanner for stunning photos, videos, and immersive AR. Thunderbolt for connecting to high-performance accessories. And you can add Apple Pencil for note-taking, drawing, and marking up documents, and the Magic Keyboard for a responsive typing experience and trackpad.⁴
I gave my iPad 4 stars because I love it but there is a specific area where it needs improvement. Personally (and please forgive if I’m an idiot and you can actually adjust it) but there is no setting to change the touch Sensitivity and as an artist when I draw I like to use different pressures to achieve different lines. With this improvement it would for sure get big fat ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Jul 16, 2021 22:37I had the iPad Pro 9.7" since it launched back in 2016 and never had a single issue with it the entire time. No issues aside though, I was a bit overdue for an upgrade with the advancements being made since 2016 and am LOVING the iPad Pro 11" (3rd gen)!! The ability to Sidecar was one of the features that peaked my interest and find myself utilising the iPad Pro as a 2nd monitor when out and about. Well worth every penny!
Sep 24, 2021 09:29Great customer service for older person that is limited knowledge on which item would accomplish what I need to do. I had two different people helping me and actually changed what I had planned to buy due to capabilities.
It was a great experience.
Nov 08, 2021 15:35My wife & I went to Best Buy last month to get her a new IPAD for Christmas NOW before they run out by Thanksgiving! It is a Christmas present for her so we cannot leave a complete review until Christmas but it is a good looking unit!
Oct 23, 2021 08:44Been out of the apple ecosystem for several years. Enjoying this product so much,I’m jumping all back in. iPhone 13 pro max arrives next week.
Oct 15, 2021 19:43Awesome IPad 2021. Fantastic display, speed functionality is amazing. I also got the keyboard jacket Couldn’t be happier
Oct 22, 2021 18:07Outstanding iPad. The stronger, straight edges makes it feel that much more durable.
Nov 05, 2021 15:47I just love my new Apple 11 inch iPad Pro. It is very easy to use.

Enjoying it a lot. Apple always puts out great products. I've used iPads for several years now.
Aug 23, 2021 09:38I love my little iPad I can do all my school work on it and the battery life is perfect
Jun 23, 2021 14:24Powerful.
The best for your buck i would really buy this if you are on budget
Sep 30, 2021 13:01I love my new Apple iPad. The larger screen is great for movie watching. The employees at Best Buy were terrific!!!
Oct 17, 2021 08:54Handles like a dream machine, great color and speed. My only disappointment is the lightning cord and charger is no longer lighting/usb, it’s lightning/C. The C makes it impossible to plug into a PC. It is equally frustrating that this cord can not be shared with the other lightning/usb chargers that the family uses for other apple devices. The good news is the old cords and chargers do work on this device. It’s just frustrating to have one lone cord and charger included that can’t be shared.
Oct 09, 2021 12:53Very satisfied with quality and price.
Product is all that it was advertised to be.
Oct 29, 2021 17:29This is my 2nd Apple pad that I've owned and I love it, this one I purchased myself.
Nov 07, 2021 11:36Great product and good price . I have used apple products for years and never was disappointed.
Oct 22, 2021 16:14Excellent product for the price. The shipping was very fast.
Nov 05, 2021 15:41I got this for my 3 year old in replacement of the Amazon Kids tablet. She loves the iPad so much more and I continue to be impressed by Apple. I own the stock as well.
Oct 22, 2021 16:51Lenovo™ Tab M10 Plus is one impressive media tablet from the 2nd generation tab family. Its standout metal design gives you a premium look and feel with modern simplicity. Inside lies a 10.3" FHD screen and dual speakers for truly immersive entertainment. This is one tablet you will want to use and pass around the house.
I love it! Great for school purposes, and fast enough to do everything I want to do
Sep 24, 2021 15:53This is a great tablet, especially considering the prices for a comparable Samsung or Apple product. It's fast and has plenty of storage. My only complaint is it's a bit wonky trying to access my SD card.
Nov 21, 2021 20:32Got it for a really good sale price; $70 off plus I had additional reward dollars so the net price was great for the size and storage. I still prefer my iPad but I need an Android tablet too to be familiar with the OS. Screen and speed are very good.
Oct 22, 2021 16:29nice tablet..came with android 9 and updated quickly to 10 ..good value
Oct 22, 2021 16:21For price and what you get (octa core and 4gb ram ), excellent deal!
Oct 22, 2021 17:17excellent tablet fast clear hd screen fast shipping
Nov 05, 2021 15:44Excellent replacement for Kindle Fire. Thinking of buying another one.
Oct 09, 2021 06:32With the power of a PC and the mobility of a tablet, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 Wi-Fi is your secret weapon for getting more done—wherever you are. Enjoy the advantages of a true 2-in-1 device, where an expanded keyboard(1) and built-in memory up to 512GB are backed by a battery that lasts the entire workday(2) for ultimate portability. With a redesigned, minimal-lag S Pen that lets you control a presentation with the tap of a finger and an expanded edge-to- edge screen(3) for better streaming, gaming and video chatting, the Galaxy Tab S7 Wi-Fi simplifies life, work and play. **(1) Keyboard sold separately. Function keys only available on S7+. **(2) Battery life may vary depending on network environment, usage patterns and other factors. **(3) S7 11” screen is a TFT LCD screen.
All my tablets are Samsung and bought all from BestBuy. This one replaced S10.5 a great tablet that I bought in 2014 and still in a perfect condition (I still use it though). Never had any problem with any Samsung product.
I bought the 512 GB version. It’s super fast and smooth. I’m sure I won’t need any tablets until 8-10 years from now.
Oct 26, 2021 18:35I haven't had it long but so far so good, it takes some getting used to because there is no physical home button which can be annoying but it becomes second nature wit ha little practice. The screen is vibrant and smooth which will make my artwork really pop!
Nov 19, 2021 18:57First of all, the only reason I did not give this tablet 5 stars is because it is promoted as an 11-inch tablet. It isn't. The screen measures 10 inches on the diagonal, exactly the same size as my old Galaxy Tab S4. That was a disappointment, but I did not want the 12-inch Tab S7 Ultra because that just seemed too big and awkward for my needs.
That said, this is a wonderful tablet with a brilliant, crisp, colorful screen. I thought I would be disappointed that Samsung did not make this tablet with the same OLED screen as the 12-inch model. I am not the least bit disappointed in the image quality of this screen. It's hard to imagine how it could be any better.
The Snapdragon 865 processor makes this tablet blazing fast. The larger memory option of 512 GB plus the ability to add extra storage with a Micro SD card just makes it better and better.
Then there is the S Pen that comes as part of the package. You don't have to buy it separately as you would have to with an iPad Pro. This pen is fine-tipped and wonderfully sensitive. It can zero in on the finest detail.
The speakers are robust. I haven't listened to any music on this tablet yet, but news and podcasts sound clear and natural.
I do recommend this tablet highly. It is well made, fast and beautiful.
Oct 25, 2020 09:23I worried and researched and worried some more. And i talked to sales people and finally decided on Samsung Tab 7 11inch. So happy with my decision took it to mt Granddaughter's track meet took wonderful movies with ease. Its quick and long battery life. I love my decision.
Apr 23, 2021 16:31I love this tablet I bought it To replace my old Samsung Galaxy Tablet. I got it on sale it was a great price.
Nov 18, 2021 12:50Samsung - Galaxy Tab S7 - 11” - 512GB - With S Pen - Wi-Fi - Mystic Black, great tablet, bought this as a Christmas gift for my mother n law, ease of use is fantastic. would buy another one, not a fan of apple products
Jan 23, 2021 06:27Awesome tablet super fast really love using it every day
Nov 08, 2021 16:26Best tablet I've ever had. 8gb ram with 512 gb internal storage. What more can you ask? Runs smooth and is a great addition to my bedroom

Oct 31, 2021 16:18my daughter love it so much , thats a lot of things that she can learn, play the game , reading etc
must have
very recommended
Aug 13, 2021 16:19This tablet is the best version yet. Its alittle slow when connecting initially, but once everything is set up and the apps are downloaded, youre good to go. I don't like that an Amazon kids account us required, but it does come with one year free.
Oct 09, 2021 06:56This was for my son’s 10th bday present and he simply loves it. He’s on it basically from the time he gets up till bedtime when he’s aloud to use it. He loves the bigger screen.
Sep 15, 2021 05:57PURCHASED FOR MY GRAND. SHE LOVES IT. IT IS SO USER FRIENDLY.
Oct 25, 2021 18:22Bought this for my granddaughter who just moved out of state . She uses it to video chat with us every week
Nov 12, 2021 15:57Enjoyed the ease of ordering tablets for my grandchildren.
Oct 23, 2021 18:25Love this! Got it for my daughter and she's obsessed!

The Apple iPad was a smart choice for me and my needs. I was able to download the MS office package and sync it to my computer so I can create docs on both. The iPad is lightweight and comfortable to use. I love the layout of the icons and all the Special features, like face recognition access to certain apps that you want to keep private in case your child is using the device. I do some stock trading and I don’t want them to be able to go in there, and this helps keep it private.
Jun 04, 2021 15:15This was my second IPad. I had the 3rd gen Ipad (2012) and I got it as my high school graduation gift. And up to now it still works. I’ve always wanted to upgrade but it was too expensive then. But when the the ipad pro came out. I decided to get one, and I didn’t regret it. The PRO is an amazing product. Now, I can go back to my first love which is drawing. Don’t care for paid reviews but I really have to say. This is so worth it!! I love my ipad pro :)
Sep 20, 2021 02:39Purchased as a replacement for an older iPad, this one is much faster and easier to read because of the larger screen. Love the face recognition feature, gives you that extra bit of security. Another plus is the pencil (purchased separately) allows you to sign documents in your own handwriting. Haven’t discovered all the features but so far I am very satisfied with the ones I have. Nice camera.
Aug 31, 2021 20:34I love my apple iPad Pro 11…I use it for my morning reading, Bible Study with my children, online shopping, ext… I purchased for my morning reading because my iPhone was too small but I’m using it for everything now! I highly recommend!
Jul 17, 2021 07:42Simple, intricate, and perfect. Deeply refined throughout the years, this iPad melds together everything good about the previous iPad's; And adds tons of new and amazing features you will LOVE
Oct 22, 2021 23:11Love it! Will definitely be putting it to good use.
Aug 06, 2021 17:38It’s a little heavy but otherwise totally cool. Every thing is just like it predecessors which I love!
Jul 21, 2021 07:55Love my new iPad Pro!!! Opted for another 11" version (coming from the pandemic 2020 trump stimi iPad Pro 11") instead of the 12.9" for several reasons. 12.9" is waaay too big to be held in your hands and used for any kind of productivity. Sure it can probably be done but not efficiently. Secondly i don't have faith in the mini LED setup surviving multiple years without issue... people already have multiple issues out the box. Thirdly the amount of time it would take to charge would almost double even using a substantial charging brick... Fourthly I'm a pretty mobile guy who's always on the go... I honestly didn't want to be "that guy" lugging around and wielding an ipad that large... Fifth and foremost the battery wont hold up as long as the 11" regardless of settings or use-case... and will more than likely degrade due to the amount of power pulling from the screen whether your using HDR content or not. I was all in for the 12.9" but the tech is "too new" and the drawbacks to efficiency far outweigh the gains... 11 inches is the way to go... super portable, not power hungry, and allowed for more SSD for slightly less money than the entry level 12.9". (256GB - 995$)

i needed an iPad for notetaking in college, and i had my eye on this iPad. And it was worth every penny. the display is bright and nice compared to my older ipad (iPad 3). The battery life is really great for what i'll be using it. The speakers- omg they are amazing!! Perfect for sitting down and watching a youtube video or movie. The back cameras are good for the most part. The slight downside is the front facing camera. Not that i'll be using this iPad for the cameras but it was a slight disadvantage for me in my opinion. Playing high graphic games like Genshin Impact are flawless beyond compare. No lag whatsoever. I would definitely recommend this to a friend. It's a bit pricey i'll admit but its a great investment.
Aug 13, 2021 17:12I purchased this as the sole device that my son would use for "virtual school". I was afraid that the variety of apps and links wouldn't work but we are two weeks in and EVERYTHING works great! We purchased the magic keyboard (worth the $) and the pencil (look for an open box) and that combo is worth every penny!
The pencil helps in not forgetting how to write and the magic keyboard helps in how to type AND use the trackpad as a mouse.
Aug 15, 2020 11:48My Mom is in her 80’s has problems seeing, so I upgraded her mini to the Pro. Now she can see pictures, email, kindle , etc and not h to scroll all over. The colors are vibrant and the pencil is a must.
Jul 31, 2020 21:13Awesome tablet and its fits on my needs. Switching tablets from android , i can use it base of my needs
Nov 05, 2021 16:09I love how logical the interface with the user works. Many tutorial, and helpful tools , and tips. I am in a band. Am utilizing GarageBand as well as the lyrical scrolling applications that are available.
Aug 13, 2021 15:43I am a bit slow, changing but I am learning and I am sure the differences will be great when they come naturally to me! Love the light feel of the unit and the carrying case is also thin so that it feels like you are not bothered with any weight! Love it!
Jul 24, 2021 14:48My daughter and I love this iPad Pro. The sound quality is very nice especially when watching a movie.
May 20, 2021 13:48Great product!! After 5 years, I upgraded my wife’s iPad Pro to the newer model. It works great, holds a charge for several days, and she loves it. I also bought her the Apple Pencil.
Jan 22, 2021 16:21iPad Pro features the powerful Apple M1 chip with next-level performance and all-day battery life.³ The Liquid Retina display on the 11-inch iPad Pro is not only gorgeous, but super portable.¹ And a front camera with Center Stage keeps you in frame automatically during video calls. iPad Pro has pro cameras and a LiDAR Scanner for stunning photos, videos, and immersive AR. Love it. Easier to hold than the 12.9. My only issue is the buttons to turn on and off are so small they are little hard to use. I didn’t care for the Smart Keyboard as wanted it more flexible. Instead I used a logitech cover with keyboard. With the 512gig you have plenty of storage. It can handle a lot and very fast!
Sep 18, 2021 17:19I recently purchased a new iPad Pro at Best Buy in Lubbock, Texas. I had a very help member of their sales staff who knew a good deal about the product. He was able to answer my questions and to steer me toward the products I was looking for. He was interested in finding what I was looking for and he had a good knowledge of what the store had in stock. He was also helpful in finding the accessories that I needed for the iPad. I have been happy with the iPad, though I am not always happy with Apple’s policies of planned obsolescence and changing such things as types of charger cords used, and more complex iOS through updates that slow down your devices. Also, I have apps on my old device, some of which I use regularly, that will not load onto my new device, because they are no longer available in the App Store, or they will not operate in the new iOS. (I know this is the fault of the developer of the particular app, but it still annoys me). If I want to use these particular apps, I am forced to use the old device. All in all, I am happy with my purchase, and happy with Best Buy. It is always convenient to purchase through a giant online source, but I am in favor of supporting local (or in my case 40 mile away) brick and mortar stores to keep them in business and to help support local workers.
Aug 07, 2021 07:07I got because I gave my son my 2018 12.9 iPad Pro since he needed a computer for school and he loves to draw. Here I am a year later and I needed an iPad bad. I got this and the speed on this device is amazing. I do video editing and a lot of photo editing and this iPad has been great for all my needs. Only downside is the os of the tablet. It is limited by the iOS and will never run apps like Final Cut Pro.
Oct 29, 2021 15:43I love my iPad, I got it for writing notes on and I've seen a significant improvement in my grades since!! The battery lasts a few days without charging so its very nice not having to worry about bringing a charger to school with me.
Oct 14, 2021 10:59I Love it! Just Keeps improving. My 2008 ipad finally died and couldn't be brought back. Embraced the upgrade and I love it.
Best Buy has all the accessories if I need or want them so it was a painless easy purchase. Lots of choices from iPad Pro products were available and graciously offered by Best Buy with solid info on each choice plus chat was right there if I wanted to reach out. No issues... easy buy. Love it. Super happy.
Jun 30, 2021 10:03A great upgrade if willing to spend the extra money. Responds well with the apple pen and the resolution looks great. Little big but works great.
Oct 29, 2021 16:03The new iPad Pro with the new m1 chip is considerably faster than my older iPad. The camera is great in low light which is my first real reason for my upgrade. I do a lot of traveling and use my iPad Pro to take pictures as a camera is to bulky to carry. The pictures I get are great and a full 11 inch view finder is great for making the best pictures. You can store several thousand pictures which is a great feature not often talked about.
May 28, 2021 18:09Purchased two as gifts as an upgrade over older models. Love the upgraded storage capacity for movies and books while traveling.

I bought this for my personal use but it came in handy for remote learning for my grandsons too. My oldest granddaughter likes using the pencil (sold separately) for her drawing projects for highschool. And I love everything about it.
Jan 08, 2021 17:19Overall it’s super well and great takes great pictures and works quick
Dec 25, 2020 23:43Nice. Love it. Nice and crisp screen, takes nice crisp photos, thought I would miss the home button but I don’t. Did take long to get used to the swipe. Like the way the Apple Pencil attaches to the side and wirelessly charges. So I give it 5 stars. A bit expensive but I used some of my gift cards. Love it!
Jan 29, 2021 20:27If I could give it more than five stars I would most definitely would. I just love my ipad so much in every aspect. I just recently started digital drawing a few months ago and It is such a breeze to create on my Ipad Pro. The images , videos and sounds in this baby are superb.
Oct 29, 2021 11:27I purchased the 512GB WiFi model to replace an old 6th gen iPad and while it's almost nearly the same size, the boost in performance and quality is substantial. This iPad Pro has nearly become my regular computing device over a desktop, especially with so many pro-level apps for photography, video and drawing are available. Pair with Apple Pencil 2 and you've got a top-notch artist sketch/paint studio to go!
Jun 26, 2020 15:57I was happy with the information I got from the salesman, but it was not in stock. I ordered bit on line the next week and it arrived in a timely manner. I would have loved to have the sales man show me how to switch it from my old iPad. It was not that hard to do, I did it myself. There are somethings I still do not understand. Such as how to I change my old iPad over to someone else.
Jul 23, 2021 20:40Excellent iPad. Love it so much. Great size. I skipped the M1 because this A12z chip still Super fast
Nov 08, 2021 07:12I truly love my iPad it’s just the right size for me, the color is great. The price was great if your looking for and iPad this is a great one to have.
Oct 14, 2021 07:14iPad Pro features the powerful Apple M1 chip with next-level performance and all-day battery life.³ The Liquid Retina display on the 11-inch iPad Pro is not only gorgeous, but super portable.¹ And a front camera with Center Stage keeps you in frame automatically during video calls. iPad Pro has pro cameras and a LiDAR Scanner for stunning photos, videos, and immersive AR. Thunderbolt for connecting to high-performance accessories. And you can add Apple Pencil for note-taking, drawing, and marking up documents, and the Magic Keyboard for a responsive typing experience and trackpad.⁴
“It’s amazing” my daughter said. She got the iPad Pro 11” for her birthday and is already marking beautiful artwork. We wanted an iPad that would last and the M1 processor will make this a future proof tablet for years to come. This is the perfect iPad for schoolwork, personal, having fun and creativity. I highly recommend the apple pen 2. Will add a keyboard case later to compete the setup.
Jun 26, 2021 12:36I really enjoy my iPad I love how the quality of the pictures, and the videos are so clear and the sound is great.
Sep 18, 2021 11:24To me this is the perfect size I am legally blind and my eyedeperception is extremely off. I had the ipad pro 12.9" and that thing was just too awkward
Sep 20, 2021 21:00I’ve had my iPad about a month now and I can honestly say it was worth the money. Great for multitasking in the office taking notes, like a mini portable MacBook. Definitely get a case and glass protector for the screen and camera!!!
Oct 16, 2021 08:56Surprisingly, I never knew that the iPad Pro is going to be that good for a futuristic tablet. This year, Apple have finally step up their when they're going to add M1 to iPad. For my perspective, I thought this tablet would have issues with performance or any other that need to be improve. Overall, I think the iPad Pro is a professional tablet would probably be a laptop replacement. But likely. If anyone is considering a tablet, whether high productivity or content and working on office, I highly recommend this tablet for 2021.
May 26, 2021 05:29Love this product. I use it every day for notes and studying in PT school!
Oct 01, 2021 17:01Absolutely worth it, use it everyday! Definitely recommend.
Jul 03, 2021 20:51The battery on my iPad Air 2 is dying (it has to be constantly plugged in to work) so I figured now would be a good time to replace it with something newer.
What do I use my iPad for:
- I like to take it with me to Starbucks or other cafes that I sit at
- I take it with me when I travel for extended times
- I mainly use it casually: streaming videos, browsing the internet, interacting on social media, some light gaming, and word processing (I don't really use FaceTime or any video calls on it)
I picked up the iPad Air 4 and the iPad Pro 2021 11 inch to compare and I still went with the iPad Pro 2021 11 inch even though the iPad Air 4 would be more than enough for me. Honestly, just the plain, regular, iPad would be enough for those needs.
So why go with something hundreds of dollars more? There's a few reasons.
1) I wanted to future proof my iPad. I got the iPad Air 2 when it came out in 2017 and have been using it sense. With the iPad Pro using the M1 chip, it's basically has the innards of a Apple laptop/desktop, just in tablet form. It will likely be compatible with any new tech Apple comes out with and utilities any new iOS updates to their fullest extent.
2) I'm also looking for something to replace my laptop which is over a decade old. The iPad Pro with a keyboard case and some other accessories could potentially fill that gap. The only thing really stopping it for me is I can't run a full blown Windows OS on it (like I can if I get a surface). But depending on what's instore for iOS, maybe I won't have as urgent a need to replace my laptop.
3) I like fast. I know, I know, it's silly if all I'm going to be doing is streaming and browsing the internet on it but launching Civ 6 at the same time on the iPad Air 4 and seeing that the iPad Pro is a second faster is still nice lol
What this really boils down to is potential. The iPad Pro with that M1 chip has more potential than the iPad Air 4. That said, I wouldn't be surprised if the next iPad Air has the M1 chip or something better in it, but I'm looking for a replacement right now, especially with things starting to open back up and I can start dining in at Starbucks and cafes.
May 24, 2021 19:07The all-new iPad Air. It's more versatile than ever. The stunning 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display with wide color lets you see photos, videos, and games in vivid, true-to-life detail.¹ It features the A14 Bionic chip with Neural Engine, delivering power and advanced machine learning capabilities to edit a 4K video, create a beautiful presentation, design a 3D model, and do all of these things with ease. And now with support for Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil (2nd generation)², fast, easy, and secure Touch ID and Apple Pay, a 12MP back camera and 7MP FaceTime HD camera, USB-C connector for charging and accessories, all-day battery life³, and fast Wi-Fi 6. With iPad Air you have the power to bring your ideas to life.Apple Brand Store at Best Buy.Shop more Apple products
Great purchase. As always Best Buy always comes through for me. My son had broke his iPad by sitting on it. The old iPad was ready to be upgraded, so I bought this so he could get back to his routine. Shipping didn’t happen same day on a Sunday, but was more then happy getting it first thing on Monday. Thank you for everything. New iPad works amazing and battery life, speed, and storage is much better then the old one. I recommend for sure!
Sep 03, 2021 19:21I buy this iPad replacing my iPad 7 gen, Just something to surf the web and social media on and play the occasional game. The speakers on this thing are INCREDIBLE. So loud and full of depth, it’s great to stream music off of. Recommend this for the regular user, and with it’s new A14 Bionic processor, this thing can handle some serious multitasking for you. If you’re could not buy an iPad Pro, I recommend you consider this as an option instead, unless video editing is something you’re planning to do constantly. This iPad It has served me well so far.
Nov 04, 2020 23:39This is the best iPad I ever purchased. It’s better than the iPad 3rd generation I had because anytime I draw it ends up being a problem. But with this iPad I can draw and listen to music at a clearer sound.
This iPad is worth the purchase if you don’t want to splurge on a grand for an iPad because with $599 you get the same pro features at a better price.
Jun 11, 2021 21:54I honestly wanted the newer mini to replace my old mini 2, as my intention was to use it only for light reading. However, this iPad has changed my entire classroom experience. Toggling back and fourth between my Mac and my iPad has never been easier, especially during study sessions and exams. The size is perfect, as it also fits in my book bag without feeling so cramped. It loads up pretty fast, but if you're looking to replace the iPad for a laptop. I personally wouldn't recommend it as I still use my laptop for the heavier workload.
Mar 05, 2021 16:03iPad Air offers so much more than the base iPad. It's worth taking the step up if you can afford it. For the increase in price, you get a larger screen, stronger audio, faster networking, a much more powerful processor, better Apple Pencil support, and a superior build. That makes the iPad Air a good long-term investment.
Aug 06, 2021 16:45For those who don’t want to spend a whole lot of money on the iPad Pro this one will do.
It’s great, does what its supposed to do.
Now the bad parts:
It doesn’t have the Center Stage camera so its the standard 7MP camera but still good for video calls and the front camera is 12MP but no flash.
It has last years A14 chip so if you’re just using this for web browsing, emails, watching streaming videos or gaming this will do.
I
Nov 12, 2021 20:42It is super light. The 2nd Gen pencil works with no effort required. Suggest, get the pencil with it because it is a serious deign tool - when used with a drawing app like Becasso. Nice that the power outlet allows a USB3 key for storage purposes.
The screen resolution is better than the previous model. Really clear picture.
It's better than the model it replaces for me. (Three years old.)
A bit pricey - yes - but all in all for the next few Months at least, it's the coolest iPad for the money.
Mar 16, 2021 19:12I ordered this ipad on Saturday, had a little delay on Monday morning but by 12pm that day Best Buy emailed me saying it was shipped. I received it on Tuesday and since then I've been nothing but obsessed with the screen display, speed and the speakers. Definitely a must have if you can't afford the ipad pro or if you just like the air.
Dec 03, 2021 12:55With the power of a PC and the mobility of a tablet, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 Wi-Fi is your secret weapon for getting more done—wherever you are. Enjoy the advantages of a true 2-in-1 device, where an expanded keyboard(1) and built-in memory up to 128GB are backed by a battery that lasts the entire workday(2) for ultimate portability. **(2) Battery life may vary depending on network environment, usage patterns and other factors. **(3) S7 11” screen is a TFT LCD screen.
If you are looking for best Android tablet then look no further. Buy Tab S7 or S7 Plus. These are the best tablets available on a market.
Personally I use iPad Pro and bought S7 to do my development. So for me experience on S7 not as good as on iPad Pro, but! I can confirm that S7 is almost perfect. The one problem is the apps which are not fully optimized for big screens.
With Google going back to support tablets on Android we all can expect things to be better, meanwhile even with current set of apps you can enjoy this tablet.
Dex mode is a game changer! Check my photo where I connected S7 to portable USB-C monitor (with touch support) and it is working like a laptop, but also you can use fingers! Its like you have huge tablet! You do need external power for monitor because tablet by itself won't be able to power that big 15'' inch monitor. Connect mouse and external keyboard and you will see how good it is!
Design is perfect! Very thin and very light and at same time packed with everything you need! Fingerprint sensor, face recognition and so on. Included s-Pen is very good move for Samsung. Although battery on S-Pen will die overnight if you do not connect it to the back of tablet, but even with battery empty you still can use S-Pen to draw. Power needed to gesture controls and for a button.
Even though screen is LCD it looks gorgeous! Colors are vivid and pleasant to look at.
Nov 03, 2021 16:14It's an excellent table....
I have been using this device in my work and is excellent...
Thanks so much
Nov 14, 2020 05:29I love my tablet. I haven't used the laptop or ipad as much since purchasing it. The rose gold matches my samsung ear buds, and my samsung rose gold smartwatch. It was so easy connecting all my samsung devices
Dec 03, 2020 21:45Works great but I went for the plus for the bigger and better resolution
Apr 23, 2021 19:22Great tablet, crispy graphics and capabilities, I just wish I would've gotten the s7 PLUS
Oct 02, 2020 15:49I love this Samsung tablet S7. The 11 inch size is big enough that i dont need to wear my glasses. The colors are very vivid and its just like using my phone!!! Great item
Feb 26, 2021 16:51Beautiful display! Color and clarity is excellent. Smooth, fast and responsive and the audio quality with music and voice is fantastic! The included S-Pen is just fantastic to use and very responsive as well. I had no idea I would enjoy using it this much. It costs quite a bit, but the quality is completely worth it. Great job Samsung!
Feb 19, 2021 18:31This is by far the best tablet I have owned. The screen is crystal clear tablet runs smoothly especially with 120 hertz refresh rate. Android 11 is an awesome operating system I like the fact that the tablet is very customizable. The stylus works flawlessly. I also bought the Samsung case for this tablet which is very high quality as well. I have a Samsung phone and the two integrate very well.

I can do stuff like this on it so I'm pretty pumped that it does what i wanted in a tablet.
May 21, 2021 17:292/27/2021
I very rarely rate anything with 5 stars. Basically I reserve such a rating for something that's near perfect. The Samsung Tab S7 falls in that range. I am extremely pleased.
I went with the 8 Gb RAM and 256 Gb storage primarily for the additional RAM (though having 2x more storage is very nice). I did this because I have the Samsung S10+ phone, which has 8 Gb RAM and now, 2 years later, it is running just as fast as the day I got it and I am a power user, with tons of apps on the phone. So, I figured a similar pairing of a super fast CPU, with 8 Gb RAM would be good for the long haul on this device (the 128 Gbps Tab S7 has 6 Gb of RAM).
I am coming from a Apple iPad 8th generation... which in many ways was good... but extremely frustrating, given the silly locked up ecosphere of Apple and how ridiculously backward they are with file transfers. And a Lightning port... really? USB 3 is superior in every way. Then I got upset at Apple for their recent censorship of political speech. This is America, for goodness sake. We have different viewpoints and we disagree. Fine. Apple, Google, Twitter, Facebook, Amazon stop censoring us!
I've been looking at the Tab S7 for some time. Finally I sprung for it. WOW... this is one of the best pieces of technology I have ever used. And I have been using tech since the 1970's.
Performance: This tablet is far superior to any tablet Apple puts out. It is incredibly fast and with the 120 Mhz refresh rate it is "buttery smooth" as they say.
Display: While I was initially disappointed that it wasn't OLED (come on, Samsung, what's up with that?), nontheless, the LCD screen is superior, with excellent contrast. Many times I think I'm looking at an OLED screen. I can tell that it's LCD in low light video scenes, but it certainly is not bad. Note that the Tab S7+ does have OLED, but I didn't want a screen that big. I much prefer the aspect ratio of the Tab S7 and S7+ to Apple's iPads. To me, it's an excellent balance between enjoying media and getting work done (I do a lot of writing and multitasking with it). The Apple iPad Pro's aspect ratio looks ridiculous to me: it's like looking at a clunky old fashioned 4x3 TV. Part of the reason why I went with the Tab S7, along with the Samsung keyboard, is for meetings. I wanted something more subtle and compact for note taking, compared to hauling out a laptop.
Audio: Oh, WOW!, it is incredible: 4 speakers, incredible audio quality with Dolby Atmos things like videos and movies, together with the outstanding display, are incredible. Plus, having 4 speakers, no matter which orientation you are using, landscape or portrait, you always get stereo sound. Not so with the iPad with two speakers that have a silly placing at the bottom, which means if you watch multimedia in landscape mode, you have sound only on one side (that's not even mono!).
Battery life: is very good, lasting all day. Having fast charge capbility means I can get it fully recharged in about 1-1/2 hours. That blows the Apple iPad out of the water, which needs 2x as long. So, even if you need to boost the battery by 30-40%, plugging it in even for just 15-20 minutes will cover you.
Camera: both camera's, front and back, are of a very good quality. Far superior to the iPad. While the cameras may not have all the functionality of my S10+ (which is not necessary on a tablet), Samsung did not go cheap on these cameras. They are very good quality and get the job done well. One thing I rely on is taking scans with the rear-facing camera. That works great, then you can grab the S-Pen for quick markups of your image. Plus the front facing camera is placed in the middle top of landscape mode, so when you are video conferencing it looks like you are looking right at the people you are in conference with, instead your eyes off to the side with the iPad.
S-Pen: I haven't used a pen much before. But this one is very good. It is touch sensitive, so I imagine that it would work well with artists, similar to the Apple pen. I think it is fantastic that Samsung *includes* the S-Pen with the tablet. I love how Samsung does things like that, while Apple is miserly toward their customers. Plus, if you get the Samsung Keyboard, there is a neat out of the way storage solution for the pen that looks great. You never have to plug it in somewhere to charge it. Just magnetically snap it on the back and it charges from the tablet.
Keyboard: I highly recommend getting the Samsung keyboard. It offers a sharp looking slim profile and good functionality. It is a smaller keyboard than a laptop keyboard, but it doesn't take long to get used to it. The protection for the screen and back are more than adequate. However, there isn't a lot of side and corner protection, since they are exposed. You don't need to plug the keyboard in to charge or replace batteries, as it gets its charge being attached to the tablet. This is similar to what Apple does with its iPads and keyboards. For added protection when I'm out and about with the tablet, I've purchased the Insignia™ - Universal Sleeve for Most Tablets Up to 10" at BestBuy and it fits the tablet and keyboard like a glove, adding extra padding.
Software: I get super frustrated with the silly hyper-closed world of Apple. Android -- particularly Samsung -- goes to great pains to work well with the outside world and a wide range of devices. Having Samsung DeX (PC-like desktop) on the device as a built-in screen mode is awesome. I've been using DeX since the Samsung S8+, so I'm familiar with it. Being able to switch to it on a tablet makes the tablet function much more like a laptop. This functionality alone makes the Tab S7 and S7+ far superior to any Apple tablet. And I can activate it with one keypress on the Samsung keyboard. As far as the complaint that not all Android apps play well with a tablet, that's true to a degree. For the most part, I've hardly had any problem with this this. A problem that may come up is some apps not wanting to go into landscape mode. But I used a 3rd party app, to force them to go landscape and it's fine. It's less of a problem in DeX mode. I think with Samsung aggressively going after Apple in the tablet market, we should see other manufacturers getting into the tablet game more and non-comliant apps being pressured to update to work in landscape mode.
My only complaint is that I WISH this Tab S7 would work better with my Samsung phone. I can't get text messages from my Samsung phone on my Samsung tablet! And yet I can get text messages from Samsung phone on my Windows 10 laptop. I can also get text messages on my Samsung watch from my Samusng phone. But I *can't* get text messages from my Samsung S10+ on my Samsung Tab S7? Really, Samsung???? Samsung uses the excuse it's a "Verizon limitation". C'mon Samsung, man up! You are a big player in the industry... DEMAND that Verizon stop blocking such vital functionality! The one area that Apple is superior is to Samsung is their tight integrations between all their products. I thought Samsung was competing with Apple! This is one area where Samsung is deficient in their tablets.
I am so glad I purchased the Tab S7. Samsung has done an outstanding job. I know I will enjoy the power, performance and versatility of this tablet for years to come. I highly recommend it!
Feb 27, 2021 11:18I love it! The SPen works flawlessly with this tablet. I love drawing on it. The accuracy is great and it feels just about as good as drawing with pen and paper. The only problem I have is that the Spen just sticks onto it magnetically. It sticks fairly securely but I'm always afraid I'm going to knock it off. I bought a case for the tablet though and that helps secure the pen Somewhat. It sticks to a place inside the folding case. Only thing is the pen doesn't charge when it's in that slot... I rarely need to charge it though. Otherwise, I love it!!! Attached is a drawing I did on it. The only flaws in the drawing is that I'm an amateur.
Jan 28, 2021 03:48I purchased the 256GB 11" tablet with pen and the keyboard cover. My goal was replacing my laptop for travel. I am just getting acquainted with the tablet and am not technology inclined.
Thus far it is meeting my needs. I can remote in to home PC anywhere I have internet access, create word documents, and use for watching streaming channels (esp helpful when traveling with a toddler and all the books have been read, songs have been sung, "what do you see" games exhausted. I'm also going to use it for photo/scrapbooking activities snd have no concerns it will be efficient.
I'm excited to see everything it will di.
Nov 05, 2021 18:42This is a great tablet. I mainly use it for shopping on the web, reading books, watching movies and emails. I haven't used the S pen much but I think I am going to really like it. I keep my tablet in a stand so had to buy a new stand that would accommodate the SPen. I also found a cover that would hold the pen more securely on the back because I was always knocking it off the magnetic attachment. I am really glad I bought this tablet.
Jan 15, 2021 19:00My son gave me a Samsung Galaxy 3s tablet, so I used it for work. I’m a trucker and it was incredibly helpful. Works great, which is why my wife gifted me the new Samsung galaxy S7 + and it made me very happy as its newer features still surprise me to this day.
Aug 06, 2021 23:53Overall very good. It does 99% of what I wanted it to do. The only thing it doesn't seem to do well is I could not get my gopro to attach to it.
Other than that, it's got a nice solid feel to it, seems to be tolerant of moderate abuse (but get a case for it), and pretty much does for watching videos, playing games, web browsing etc.
Apr 16, 2021 15:52The tab is Excellent, beautiful and very fast, 5 of 5 points
Jan 30, 2021 21:17Our biggest, most powerful tablet, made for ages 3–7. Features an octa-core processor, 3 GB RAM, brilliant 10.1" 1080p Full HD display, dual cameras, USB-C (2.0) port, up to 1 TB of expandable storage, and 1 year of Amazon Kids+. Screen made with strengthened aluminosilicate glass. Rest easy with parental controls. All Fire Kids tablets come with a 2-year worry-free guarantee and a Kid-Proof Case.
Its cracked not even up to 1month.The screen is too fragile
Aug 28, 2021 09:46I bought as a gift for a 1.5 yr old. She absolutely loved ut and can now watch sesame street videos on the go. It is lightweight and the handle is great for carrying and propping up. It seems durable, she has dropped ut and even accidentally stepped on it and its still just like new. The best part is the 2 yr warranty.
Aug 09, 2021 12:07Granddaughter’s Fire 7 was really showing its age. Parents don’t be selfish! Go big or go home! Luckily we were able to give her this. Year free of Kids+. Its already got a 2 year waranty from Amazon “NO QUESTIONS ASKED”. So wave the protection plan. Anyway she loves it. Its as powerful as my Samsung S6 lite. It steps you through adding the kids account. There are no micro transactions on the games; everything is free.
Oct 18, 2021 03:34One of the best items ever purchased for my daughter. We have a 3 yr old autistic child who gets easily distracted. This tablet has an awesome child feature which restricts them from other apps that access the internet. Amazon has some really neat/fun learning apps that is helping improve an speech/counting/ shape and color identification. Recommended over the ipad.
Oct 20, 2021 03:25Seem durable for kids, but as a parent trying to load content and set it up for young kids, it can be a challenge. I’m an iPhone and iPad user, and you get why these fire tablets are so cheap. The screen isn’t as responsive and the UI is poorly designed. So it is fine for what it is, I wasn’t going to buy a two year old a real iPad.
Oct 27, 2021 16:46my children love there tablets before with other tablets with in a few months they were cracked or broke these have been throwed across the room and not a scratch will always recommend a Amazon fire tablet to anyone with small children that love there tablets this tablet has saved me money in the long run!!!!
Oct 01, 2021 18:32My daughters last tablet kept glitches and it was hard for her to be able to use it but once I got this one she’s never had an issue what so ever! Very happy with this purchase
Jul 02, 2021 12:37Best is the best place to shop, very good customer service, very good reception, quality products, very easy to returns if you don't want the product and i love the credit card when i wanted my credit card increase within five minutes it was approved. The delivery service is fast and reliable. The credit card can shop anywhere you want and can use to pay bills.
Sep 03, 2021 19:09Recreate cinema everywhere you go on the Lenovo Yoga Tab 11. Start with the stunning 2K display with Dolby Vision. Add in quad JBL speakers with Dolby Atmos moving audio tuned by Lenovo Premium Audio. It's cinema styled for smaller spaces.
Having had an older Yoga tablet I was really excited to get this. However, it has been a disappointment due to its size and software.
Pros:
Screen is nice and vibrant
The speakers are excellent
The kickstand is very useful. There should be an iPad case with a hinge/stand like this.
Fit and finish are great
Value seems good
Cons:
Much larger than expected, bigger than the previous version (original size in picture) or iPad mini. Like a full size iPad with a large battery attached. Prefer a smaller screen for portability. I wish BestBuy would have had one on display before purchasing so I could have seen how big it was. Hopefully Lenovo will introduce a mini Yoga.
The hinge is uncomfortable on the hand. The original hinge design was nicer.
Software is a burden. Typical Google bloatware that cannot be uninstalled, only disabled. Android always makes you feel like Google is spying on you.
Can't uninstall Google Entertainment Space, hate it. Can only disable it. Spotlights political images like Obamas stuff, who cares.
Can't uninstall Google Kids Space even though I indicated adult during initial setup.
Lenovo pesters you to sign into their experience apps. Don't want to or need to.
Give people a choice of what they want and allow customizations. I want a clean minimalist screen.
Sep 16, 2021 09:20Initial review having had it for only a few days. Wanted something with more storage and RAM than my 6th gen iPad to process videos on the GoPro app. This does not disappoint. Went from 32 GB to 256 GB storage with another 256 GB via SD card and from 2 GB RAM to a blazing 8 GB! Display is great and the battery life is awesome. Very pleased so far, especially for the price! *****
Oct 19, 2021 12:28Amazing screen, fast, just use it for media not for utilities, great storage capacity
Nov 05, 2021 15:56Excellent tablet screen is sharp and the tablet is easy to handle
Oct 23, 2021 18:47Excellent tab. Very good speakers and large storage.
Oct 20, 2021 18:21I checked out all the tablets and even laptops before getting it.It will you much with a affordable price range. It has a fast processor and 8 Gb of ram which makes it fast and as of September 2021 it's cheapest among the tablet and even laptops which has 8gb of ram.
The screen size is decent and colors are very vibrant. The design is very sleek and it's lightweight.
It has a adjustable stand bar which makes it standable on hard flat surfaces.Great for watching a video without holding it.
I am still getting used to this little guy .So far I love it
Sep 06, 2021 14:28Powerful.
Great ipad. I use it for watching Netflix, amazon prime and YouTube videos.
I also love it for taking notes with the pencil.
Oct 23, 2021 20:54Love this! The last one I had was a Gen 2. It’s perfect for just about everything!
Oct 30, 2021 15:32I love it. It’s a nice size. Battery life is great
Nov 01, 2021 15:13I had a older gen 4 iPad with 128 storage. I dropped it and broke the screens. After loving it for many years, I never thought I’d be able to replace it at a reasonable price. This has twice the storage and has everything I loved about my old iPad. Plus it is thinner, weighs less and lets you use a stylist or keyboard. If you like the 10.2” screen like I do, you can’t go wrong.
Oct 01, 2021 15:34I have previously had iPads so I am always pretty happy with them. This feels thinner then the ones that I have had previously, but with a good case things should be fine. I do notice that this processes things more quickly then my last one and I have yet to have any issues with it!
Oct 02, 2021 02:18Purchased for my 6 year old. Decided to try it out for myself using a mouse and an RDP app to connect to my work computer remotely. Ended up keeping it and buying him a new one. I had debated purchasing a Pro. It this has all I need and more.
Oct 04, 2021 20:59This is my 2nd ever iPad. I was impressed by its performance. It’s fast and it performs tasks effortlessly. Looks nice and lightweight.
Sep 30, 2021 15:00This is an excellent starter iPad for the home. The 256GB option is the best one to select. Wi-fi works great on this new 9th generation model and the speed has definitely improved. The price is certainly “doable” with the 2 year Apple Care thrown in. This should certainly last at least 4 years as the replaced iPad did.
Oct 02, 2021 00:11With the power of a PC and the mobility of a tablet, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 is your secret weapon for getting more done— wherever you are. Enjoy the advantages of a true 2-in-1 device, where an expanded keyboard¹ and built-in memory up to 512GB are backed by a battery that lasts the entire workday² for ultimate portability. With a redesigned, minimal-lag S Pen that lets you control a presentation with the tap of a finger and an expanded edge-to-edge screen³ for better streaming, gaming and video chatting, the Galaxy Tab S7 simplifies life, work and play.
Apr 23, 2021 19:22I love this Samsung tablet S7. The 11 inch size is big enough that i dont need to wear my glasses. The colors are very vivid and its just like using my phone!!! Great item
Feb 26, 2021 16:51Great tablet, crispy graphics and capabilities, I just wish I would've gotten the s7 PLUS
Oct 02, 2020 15:49Beautiful display!
Jul 09, 2021 16:15The 11-inch iPad Pro features an immersive, edge-to-edge Liquid Retina display.¹ The new pro cameras, Wide and new Ultra Wide, combined with the all-new LiDAR Scanner enable entirely new experiences in the next generation of augmented reality (AR) apps. A12Z Bionic chip for powering essential apps and graphics-intensive games. Support for the new Magic Keyboard with trackpad² and Apple Pencil.² All-day battery life.³ And access to millions of apps on the App Store to transform iPad Pro into anything you need, anywhere you need it.Apple Brand Store at Best Buy.Shop more Apple products
Extremely overpriced. Seems like any I pad. Don’t see anything special about it. My iphone11 has the same. I felt like returning it. I use it for Procreate and basically that’s all. Pictures look like my iPhone11’s. Not happy with the value/price of this. For this price I could have gotten a touch screen Desk top.
Aug 26, 2021 08:33Before I start I must emphasize that this is NOT a review of the iPad Pro itself but rather a review of Best Buy's Open Box deals. Images included for reference and proof. With that said, onto the "review", or rather PSA...
On June 9th I purchased the 2020 iPad Pro 11 1TB model as an open-box purchase. I did this because even with the student deal coupon added (a $150 discount), the iPad Pro was going to cost me $1099. Not a bad price by any means for last year's model with 1TB of storage. But... Under "Buying Options", I spotted a real deal (or what I thought was a real deal). The 1TB model was available in "Open Box - Excellent" condition for $899.99. This was too good to pass up! I checked to make sure I understood what BB's definition of "Excellent" condition meant BEFORE buying, and when I agreed with their definition I pulled the trigger and bought it. The item was shipped out the next day and it would take about a week to get to me. Fair enough since I went with free shipping.
Fast forward to Jun 16th, the day it arrived. I get the package via UPS, and when I picked it up to bring inside I noticed the box was very light... OK, I know its a newer iPad and they are very thin but this is REALLY light for a tablet and it's included accessories! I go and I carefully open the box as to not damage anything, and when I open the flaps I see that there is a sheet of bubble wrap and what appears to be the iPad, naked (not in ANY sort of box or protective packaging) resting on another sheet (maybe it was 2) of bubble wrap. There were no barriers to protect the iPad from hitting the inside of the box (and therefore the outside surface of whatever the box was landing on when being moved around). The iPad was covered in some sort of dust, as if it had been sitting in a dust-infested environment for a long time. Underneath the iPad was a little bag with a wall charger from LG supposedly that had a USB-A port and a USB-C to USB-A cable. Apple's chargers for the iPad Pro have USB-C on both the charger AND cable, no USB-A.
While the screen appeared to be intact with just that layer of dust on it I then took the iPad out of the box and turned it over to examine the back. The back had what I would describe as a blemish or deep scratches in one spot and some scratches on the camera bump. THIS IS NOT CONSIDERED "EXCELLENT" CONDITION! EVEN BEST BUY'S OWN DESCRIPTION SAYS AS MUCH! The condition of this iPad was definitely closer to Best Buy's "Fair" or "Satisfactory" condition, but that is not what I paid for.
There is a happy ending at the end of this however. I went and printed up my receipt and on the receipt it does show "Open Box - Excellent" as the condition I purchased. I took the iPad and everything that came with it (the box, bubble wrap and bag with the cable and charger) back to my local Best Buy and they accepted the return when they saw what I purchased versus what actually showed up. Unfortunately I could not get the iPad 1 TB in store as they were out of it, but I ended up buying the new model anyway because Apple is having a promotion which saved me on Applecare+.
The moral of this story is: Be careful when buying anything "Open Box" online. If you're at the store and they can show the item to you before you buy that's one thing, but if the price for something open box in "excellent" condition online is too good to be true then it probably is.
Jun 18, 2021 18:09I love it. Great price and awesome storage space!
Nov 09, 2021 05:59Great new iPad. Outstanding screen resolution and faster than older models. Uses the latest usb C connection so the old power cables won’t work. This is a great one
Dec 26, 2020 09:45Great! I bought it for college and so far so good. Battery last all day and much quicker than a laptop. Super light weight
Aug 20, 2021 16:14Unfortunately, I was told Christmas Morning this was the wrong amount of memory. I never opened the box. I returned the Ipad later. I have to check and see if the add-on software was removed from my account.
Jun 14, 2021 18:06Upgraded from the 2018 with 64 gigs to this with one terabyte. So much storage for video editing.
Very happy with the purchase.
Dec 19, 2020 23:39I love the iPad Pro I had this iPad Pro prior, but with less memory space, but I love that I can do a lot with this IPad. I love that you can take the IPad everywhere and still be able to work.
Mar 05, 2021 16:34iPad Pro features the powerful Apple M1 chip with next-level performance and all-day battery life.³ The Liquid Retina display on the 11-inch iPad Pro is not only gorgeous, but super portable.¹ And a front camera with Center Stage keeps you in frame automatically during video calls. iPad Pro has pro cameras and a LiDAR Scanner for stunning photos, videos, and immersive AR. Thunderbolt for connecting to high-performance accessories. And you can add Apple Pencil for note-taking, drawing, and marking up documents, and the Magic Keyboard for a responsive typing experience and trackpad.⁴
Love my new iPad Pro…it delivers far more than I expected. It was an early Christmas present but I couldn’t wait to use it. It’s awesome!
Nov 05, 2021 15:21This is the best iPad yet. I love the thunderbolt connection... finally! I highly recommend this!
Oct 15, 2021 15:54Great build quality and cameras as usual. But I hope the software keeps up with the hardware... They really need to update iPad OS to take advantage of the M1 chip and the advanced hardware.
Jul 23, 2021 15:52Great product. Camera kind of sucks. Way better than any android products I Recently purchase and still pay off and they won’t honor their warranty. I will never buy anything but Apple products from now on!
I totally would’ve gave it five if the camera is better.
Aug 14, 2021 12:55Way faster than my iPad Pro (1st generation) don’t get me wrong still kicking. But this one can’t be beat. It’s a Beast!!
Jun 04, 2021 19:26Faster and brighter. I play hidden object games so this is an advantage
Sep 04, 2021 05:53The iPad Pro 11 is an amazing tablet. Very powerful quick and an excellent tool for people on the go.
Jul 16, 2021 17:30My first IPad. Great product. Better than a computer.
Aug 27, 2021 18:23The all-new iPad Air. And now with support for Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil (2nd generation)², fast, easy, and secure Touch ID and Apple Pay, a 12MP back camera and 7MP FaceTime HD camera, USB-C connector for charging and accessories, all-day battery life³, fast Wi-Fi 6, and Gigabit-class LTE⁴. With iPad Air you have the power to bring your ideas to life.Apple Brand Store at Best Buy.Shop more Apple products
I love Apple products. The packaging design all of it. This new iPad is also a must have. IMO almost neck and neck in comparison to the iPad Pro. But with cellular service it makes this iPad be better $ value. Ordered the magic keyboard from Amazon for $100 cheaper and I’m ready to experience this iPad. I’m very satisfied with my purchase.
Mar 09, 2021 16:25I love the larger screen and the clarity.
It also holds a charge for many hours and the added bonus is that the rose color is very pleasing to look at. The only option I could get in a timely manner was the 64, I wanted the 256 but they did not show a delivery date available for the 128 or 256. Hopefully the 64 will be enough. I replaced one that was only 32 and the battery would not hold a charge for very long so overall I am happy with my purchase. I added a matching cover to enjoy the beautiful color.
Mar 05, 2021 20:07Love it fast great pictures and video.I personally use it for school it’s been really helpful.Easily to connect to internet anywhere excellent signal.Bright contrast good memory
Apr 16, 2021 21:49We bought this so our autistic son would have something to entertain him for a long bus ride. We needed something with cellular data.
This has worked beautifully thus far. We have had no issues with the device.
We chose this over the mini because we wanted a bigger screen size and better processing power.
He mostly watches YouTube Kids so we don’t have to multitask much, though he doesn’t close any apps when he opens them. The charge lasts most of the day.
Overall, this more than meets our needs.
All we had to do was buy the device and take it to our local carrier to assign a SIM card to it.
Sep 29, 2021 15:47I bought this a few weeks ago to help run my business and it has been phenomenal! I got the LTE version so I can work from anywhere. I would definitely pair with the magic keyboard and the apple pencil second generation! It is so convenient light weight. I also have a mac book, but i find myself leaving it home now as I can everything on this Ipad!
Thank you best buy Fargo for offering great products and great service!
Oct 06, 2021 11:21I got this iPad Air to help my husband because he's having trouble seeing his phone due to vision problems and it was a wise decision. he's got his phone synced to his iPad and he's able to see his messages a lot clearly, he's able to watch his movies and stuff. It was a wise choice and he absolutely loves I!!
Jul 14, 2021 19:03Purchased these for work. They are a great tablet and it works fantastic with the specific app that we use on a daily basis. The battery life lasts multiple days and the iPad is small enough for my drives to take with them on the go!! I would recommend this for anyone who wants the “pro” look and speed for a smaller price tag.
Sep 15, 2021 21:03Great tablets. No other company beats iPads in tablet market. Beautiful screen. Ideal screen size. USB-C makes it a great device. I hope Apple comes up with better OS for this iPad.

Sep 03, 2021 15:45Galaxy Tab A7 combines the slim, lightweight design you need, with the immersive entertainment experience you crave.
This is first name brand Tablet that I have bought and so far am very pleased with it, large screen gives crisp clear picture when watching videos or playing games. sound is clear and loud without any problems. with it being same brand as my phone I can sync them between each other so I can switch back and forth with websites or when reading
Apr 02, 2021 19:42Great service i love my samsung Galaxy Tab A7
Now i love it even more
Android 11 update YES
You should get one who is reading this
May 28, 2021 16:57Bought this tablet for a Christmas present for our daughter and she is really enjoying it. She utilizes the notification functions between the tablet and her apple devices.
Jan 05, 2021 15:19The pad has worked well so far. Did note, that with minimum apps, only 14 gigs of memory was available, so had to purchase memory card.
Jan 23, 2021 11:18Best Tablet under $200..Spund System surprisingly better than my Moms $600Ipad..Couldn't Believ it..also get Rose Color If Available
Jan 08, 2021 17:17I purchased it for my mom & she’s loving it . Android devices are Amazing as always & I’m very satisfied with the purchase .
Aug 27, 2021 15:59This is my second one. Not to much diffetent from first one. Like that
Apr 24, 2021 02:49I prefer the Samsung TabA to this Samsung TabA7.
The screen always time out whenever my baby is watching his rhymes.
But good picture quality and volume
Aug 27, 2021 21:50Bright, fast, and responsive. Vibrant 10.1” 1080p Full HD display and powerful performance thanks to 3 GB of RAM and an octa-core processor. Great for on-the-go. Enjoy up to 12 hours of reading, browsing the web over wifi, watching videos, and listening to music from anywhere. Power back up via the USB-C (2.0) port. Amazon engineers Fire tablets to hold up against everyday life. As measured in tumble tests, Fire HD 10 is 1.7x more durable than the latest iPad 10.2-inch. Screen made with strengthened aluminosilicate glass.
Was thinking of buying an iPad but this proved to be just what I needed at 1/3 the cost. Easy to use, has the features I desired and I can let my little nephew play on it and not be stressed about him damaging it. Found a cute cover online and I’m loving it.
Oct 15, 2021 15:38Amazing features for a budget tablet. This is a must purchase for anyone looking at great specs and low price and functionality
Jun 02, 2021 08:27New OS is better. The size is so much better than the 8 that I was replacing. That extra bit of screen improves the on-screen keyboard usability as well as making web browsing much easier. Picture is good. Overall feel is sturdy enough I don’t want a case. Battery lasts many hours. If all you want is to access internet and watch videos—plus a few basic apps—this is well priced and does the job. But it is not a tablet and you cannot access apps from either Google store or Windows store. So know what you are buying
Aug 02, 2021 21:57My Kindle 10 hd replacement is the best reader. I love the display clarity, the sound, the app store is the best. Upgrades are on time. So many great utilites with this Edition. The store and service are very helpful.
Sep 24, 2021 23:18Surprisingly durable and excellent battery life. I use it to read comics, browse the internet, stream videos, and purchase items through Amazon.
Biggest concern I have with this model is the external micro SD card support features — this device is unable to support exFAT SD card formats, limiting files to 4gb with FAT32 formatted SD cards. I wanted a device where I can quickly and easily transfer my drone footage to a larger screen in order to show friends and family, but I cannot do that with this particular model.
Otherwise great for casual use! I would recommend purchasing a stand cover to go with it.
Aug 27, 2021 16:12Bought two of these, three actually if you count a previous gen I bought grandma last year (she reads from it all the time).
If it's for a kid, get the kids version with the heavy duty case! Trust me.
The parental controls are cool, setup with your account and then use the kids app so the youngins can't venture out into the darker web or buy apps without permission (unless if they figure out your passcode).
Seems faster than my dumb phone and doesn't clunk out. I was surprised by the amount of apps available in the app store.
I'll say that it's actually a boss machine for an older person or a child, the display is Top Notch, but if you're a tech wizard who dreams of making music and drawing album covers at the park, you'll probably want to go with a higher end machine.
Sep 18, 2021 03:13I bought this tablet to give to my grandson to play games on. I have an older version of a Amazon Fire HD 10.1 tablet that I love but my grandson is constantly using it. This one is a gift so he hasn't used it yet BUT I have nothing but good things to say about these tablets. The quality and speed of this tablet is exceptional and in my opinion is just as good as the Galaxy Note 10 that I also have but for a fraction of the cost. I would and plan on purchasing another one for another grandson for a Christmas gift.
Nov 05, 2021 16:12Love this tablet it allows me to watch sunday services on zoom . I can carry it with me without having to be stationary in front of a television set.
Jul 21, 2021 08:35Work from anywhere with this 128GB Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite tablet. The S Pen stays attached magnetically and automatically recharges, ensuring you're always ready to write, sketch or navigate the Internet. The powerful 7040 mAh battery lasts for 15 hours of video playback. Recharge quickly with USB Type-C charging. This angora blue Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite tablet lets you stream content quickly without a Wi-Fi connection using LTE.
I love my new Galazy Tab S6 Lite!! My previous tablet was a 7" Asus, and I simply wore it out after about 6 years of constant use. I'm finding this new one better because in that 6 years my eyes have worsened and the print on this one is so crisp and clear (and bigger, too without adding pages.) I am able to use it with my bluetooth keypad so I can respond to emails, etc without using the little keyboard -- I'm a much faster typer than "texter". I like the weight -- not too heavy to carry and fits perfect on my pillow tablet stand.
Jan 24, 2021 13:38Love this tablet. Got tired of screwing up my eyesight looking at my Note 9 and sprung for this new Tab S6 lite. Now everything I did on my phone, I can do on my tablet with the exception of making calls and texting. Can't quite seem to figure out how to connect my phone to it.
Jan 08, 2021 12:39I'm enjoying the Samsung galaxy tab 6 lite and the chiffon rose color is beautiful. I truly wish it had more RAM, but its an awesome budget tablet and I'm enjoying usage. I would highly recommend this tablet for entertainment usage, such as Netflix and Hulu, along with other social media platforms. I chose four stars because there's slight lag with my 4gb of RAM periodically, but it's a great tablet otherwise.
Jan 01, 2021 18:12Got it for my daughter on her birthday and she loves it if you have an artist in the family or are one yourself this is pretty good for them
Apr 02, 2021 15:41Great tablet for kid. Its thicker than the Samaung S6. Durable and comes with a pen
Jun 16, 2021 19:22I don't use it often but when I do I really like it.
Jul 10, 2020 16:24Fantastic tablet! It’s durable, fast, great sound and clear display! I feel like this tablet will last my son a long time and you can’t beat the price!
Sep 10, 2021 18:57I really like this tablet. Had since December & is still working perfectly. This light version doesn't have all the bells & whistles your phone has. You don't have them.
1- video, watching movies is great. The colors can't be adjusted but you don't need to. The picture is perfect. The black is perfect, Nothing distorting. Too much color can result in the black or dark parts look messed up with lines or patterns or blobs. No adjusting needed. I thought I'd miss that feature, but i don't.
2-Sound is pretty good. You can adjust that. With equalizer or simple settings set for movies, music, etc. Speakers are decently loud & in stereo. Both sides have a speaker. Sounds good.
The speed is a tad slower to play games but still decent. Just takes a few extra seconds is all.
Stylus, works fine. If you get another kind of stylus, you won't be able to access the stylus menu, shortcuts. The menu Only works with the Samsung stylus that it comes with. But you can access them in other areas. I hardly use stylus menu. Except to take screenshots. Lol. Most stylus work on this tablet. No bluetooth needed. Meaning, can't use stylus like the Note series has, no use as a remote. Again I don't need that function, i am close enough to tap screen.
Overall I'd recommend this tablet. Works well. Very well made too, just like all Samsung products are.
Best Buy is the best place to buy any electronics. They have the absolute best protection for money. If you drop it & it breaks, the Geek Squad either fixes it or replace with same or newer model. Jul 10, 2021 23:39Browse the Iternet and stay productive with this Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite tablet. The Exynos processor and 4GB of RAM deliver fast performance for running multiple applications, while the rechargeable 7040 mAh battery offers hours of uptime on a single charge. This oxford gray Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite tablet features a slim metal design to minimize bulk.
The tablet arrived on time and when it was supposed to. I purchased the tablet as "Open Box: Excellent" and the tablet came with no scratches or marks. Noticed it was listed as a shelf display but still came in excellent shape. The tablet itself is great for note taking, small games, videos, and social media. If your looking for a tablet to game hard on, I probably wouldn't recommend this one. I am overall satisfied with this open box purchase! Will update review if anything unexpected pops up...
Feb 16, 2021 16:07Replaced my aged S4 with this S6 Lite. Great upgrade. Love the large screen, Best Buy staff was great in assisting the transfer of data. No glitches. Graphics are terrific.
Dec 11, 2020 17:01You could spend around the same amount of money on a lower end ipad, but the apple pencil itself costs $100. For $350 you are getting a well rounded tablet that is great for note taking for classes. This is not a snappy experience, nor is it buttery smooth, but that's because you are saving money here. It has great battery life and the s pen works just fine, and when you are not working, watching netflix, youtube or crunchyroll on this thing is fantastic. Great value all around.
Oct 31, 2021 23:35I got this for my daughter so she could do digital artwork. I've been really impressed with the stuff that she's been able to put out with it.
Oct 22, 2021 16:41I have no complaints about this tablet for the most part I've always had Samsung tabs and they just keep getting better and better I absolutely fell in love with the stylus and looking forward to the tab s7 I'll also add I love the color and build solid
Apr 20, 2021 07:56I love this tablet! Great quality for the sale price I got it!! Would recommend to someone looking for another device to surf the web, shop, and watch YouTube on.
Sep 10, 2021 17:48This tablet performs well and meets all my needs. I think it's versatile for daily web surfing, YouTube vids, and paying bills. One feature i really like is that i can sync my apps between this tablet and my Samsung galaxy phone.
Aug 01, 2021 18:55I absolutely love using this product. Does what I need it to do when I don't have access to use my laptop. The games I play on this device keeps me entertained for a while.
Only thing is I wish it could receive calls asked make them but otherwise it's a great wifi tablet.
Jun 22, 2021 12:57Take entertainment on the go with this Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1-inch tablet. The ultra-widescreen Full HD display and surround sound deliver an immersive multimedia experience, and the battery lasts for up to 10 hours for decreased charging requirements. Use the microSD slot on this Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1-inch tablet to add up to 512GB of storage space.
I bought one of these for the last time it was for $180. Got $60 for my 2016 Galaxy Tab A that was getting really sluggish and had a light bleed on the top right of the screen. For the most part, I'm really happy with this tablet. I won't do iPad's cause of the aspect ratio for videos. I mainly use mine for checking feeds on in the morning, having a game on it while I have something else on the TV, and for movies & TV shows when I travel (remember that?). I've tried Amazon Fire Tablets twice now, and returned both. Even though you can install Google Play on it for other apps to make it useful, the eco system sucks. What they should do is put Alexa over a pure Android tablet and not worry about their own echo system. I was worried about the 2GB at first, but decided to try it out. It's lighter then my old 2016 Tab A, and I like that. I could easily read one hand with it and the case I bought for it. Like the USB-C charging, much improvement over fighting with the cable on my old one. Everything else for the most part is pretty snappy. Opening, closing, switching between apps is a breeze. The only time I feel it be a little sluggish is when I'm rotating the screen from landscape to portrait or vice versa. But I don't do that too often switching between them (it's usually in one or the other for a long period of time) so it's not that big of a deal. Other then that it's great. Love the aspect ratio, full Google Play store/services, screen is great. Don't think you can find a better tablet for $180. Do yourself a favor and spend a bit more to get this over the budget tablets. Both the case and the cables I bought the writing is backwards on them haha.
Oct 02, 2020 16:02I didn't know if I'd use a tablet much, so I started smaller with an Amazon HD8. Enjoyed it...used it, traveled with it, and mated it to a Logitech keyboard with slot to hold the tablet. After a couple of years, it was evident I was using the tablet, and this new model of Samsung came out.
Out of the box, the silver case was great, and the first-time turning it on convinced me that watching video was going to be much improved over the smaller former unit, and it WAS. The display is crisp and has an outdoor mode which I've not tried yet.
Sound is very acceptable for a device of this size through two speakers at the "bottom" (narrow) side of the unit.
It easily paired with the Logitech K480 keyboard and an off-brand mouse for use like a computer when sitting in the keyboard, and to my surprise, by adding a USB-C to USB standard adapter, (Pair shown in pictures) it instantly recognized a USB microphone for use with a multitrack recording app I had installed. Will be excellent for interviews.
I've not gotten all the settings the way I want yet as far as the "behind the scenes" go, but it's guiding me, letting me know wht apps drain the battery, what ones can be shut down for non-use after "X" time and more.
Bought a clear rubber protector for the body (shown in pics) and bought a glass screen protector, both aftermarket, both fit as they should. Even with the rubber-ish protector around the unit it still fits nicely in the keyboard slot of the Logitech unit.
Excellent for taking along where full PC is not needed camera is acceptable for average photography, and it performed nicely with video chatting.
Hoping to enjoy this Samsung for quite a long time.
Dec 27, 2019 15:58The Samsung Tab A 10.1 is the perfect tablet. Purchased the Unicorn BEETUE as my case, it's a complete enclosure for this tablet. You do not have to buy a screen cover with this case. Has a pullout stand in back. Perfect if you have children using it also.
Dec 29, 2019 12:24This tablet is easy to use, long battery life and just what I needed to use for playing games and keeping up with my fb friends. I would recommend this for anyone who wants a good tablet without breaking the bank.
Nov 22, 2019 16:52Easy to use and large screen is great for playing online games, surfing the net, or social media. Mine came with a free case that has an attached blue tooth technology keyboard which makes the pad seem like a mini lap top. I love it.
Aug 22, 2020 16:56I bought it for taking videos of my husband singing and playing guitar and the picture and sound have surpassed my expectations ! I absolutely love this tablet ! The pics are a random pic of my living room and "LP" a singer/song writer for some perspective on the quality of the photos it takes.
Jun 26, 2020 17:03Amazingly quick although it's not a high end iPad. Love the classic galaxy setup. I should've gotten one with bigger memory but can always pop in an sdcard.
I ended up giving one to my dad and he loves it too!
Feb 13, 2020 03:03Very nice Tablet. Light weight. Definitely needs a cover for protection. I use it for games, facebook, check my email and surfing the internet.
May 10, 2019 16:06Watch your favorite movies and shows on this 10.5-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e. The Bixby Voice Assistant lets you use voice commands for hands-free operation, and 64GB of internal memory provide ample storage for movies and files. This Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e is LTE unlocked to offer the freedom to choose your desired carrier.
T-Mobile has some awesome tablet data plans, and this is an unlocked tablet that works great on T-Mobile. No bloatware put there by the carrier, just a Samsung Android experience.I I also have a Tab S4 and this Tab S5e performs about the same, maybe a little better. (Tab S5e is a couple years newer but not the top-of-line insides as the Tab S6, thus it performs about the same as the Tab S4 that was top-of-line at the time, at least by my understanding).
Aug 22, 2020 11:51Purchased this tablet as an upgrade to my 8" Samsung tab that originally came with my AT&T service. Its been fantastic. Its very light and wasn't overly thick when i added the protective cover. The larger screen is very clear and the wifi access is extremely quick compared to my old one. It does everything i need for online access and works great for streaming movies too. I waited a while for this Tab to come back into stock and very happy I did.
Aug 02, 2021 10:33Pretty awesome tablet with an additional phone access.
Jul 27, 2021 09:43I love this tablet. It is easy to set up & use. Best Buy did a great job setting it up to work with my wireless carrier.
Jul 30, 2021 19:35Got this for my wife as a gift. It’s hard to find unlocked android LTE TABLETS Without going through a carrier or breaking the bank.
Mar 26, 2021 17:06The Galaxy S5e was exactly what I was looking for in a tablet at this price range. Would HIGHLY recommend it.
Apr 23, 2021 22:05The S5e is a great tablet for increasing your viewing space!
Mar 08, 2021 11:57My wife wanted a new tablet. She decided on a Samsung - Galaxy Tab S5e - 10.5" - 64GB - Wi-Fi + 4G LTE Carrier - Black. I went down to Best Buy, and like usual Best By hooked me up with exactly what she wanted.
Apr 25, 2020 10:50Galaxy Tab A7 combines the slim, lightweight design you need, with the immersive entertainment experience you crave. The ultra-widescreen display draws you in to movies and shows while Dolby Atmos surround sound speakers place you in the center of the action. Video calls via the landscape-oriented, front-facing camera help you feel as if you’re in the same room with family and friends. And the fast processor, long-lasting battery and robust built-in storage let you enjoy more of the streaming, browsing, music and photos you love.
I've always liked the Galaxy tablets. I bought the A7 64GB to sort of replace my older Tab A which has a cracked screen(my fault, twice). I still use my Tab A for certain things because it still works.
The A7 is phenomenal with the speaker setup. The tablet is meant to be used in landscape mode because the speakers(4 of them) are on the left and right side in landscape mode or top and bottom in portrait mode. The picture is beautiful and sound is great. The best part is that I got this at Best Buy as an open-box like new and shipped for free to my house for less than the price of the 32GB model. When it arrived it was in brand new condition. All the paperwork, charger and cords in a shrink wrapped Samsung Galaxy box like I just bought it new right out of the store! Why buy an apple when you can own the Galaxy.
Apr 16, 2021 15:21I absolutely love it! I purchased the 64GB. Compared to the EXTREMLY expensive iPad, it has the smaller screen size. However, It does exactly what I purchased it for! Entertainment, and functionality, around my other Samsung devices. Especially, connecting subscription apps, To the T.V., (Samsung 55'' 7 Series, 7300.) This one, is strictly wi-fi. The resolution is fantastic. The battery, is fantastic. As far as I am concerned, It's a decent purchase! I also, purchased the Casebot protective case. BIG IMPROVEMENT. The tablet, by itself seems VERY vulnerable, if dropped, hence, the durability rating. Purchase a case!
Sep 11, 2021 04:05I absolutely love this tablet A7, my husband got the Samsung Tab S7 but I didnt want to spend that much so we foind this one and its perfect for me. I pay bulls on it and watch videos, video chat with friends and chwck my Social media accounts its great! I got a otterbox case for it to protect it.
May 19, 2021 10:03For me an excellent tablet to operate considering I have a iPad ? I the option of having a way to add more storage once again considering not able easily add storage to my iPad !
Mar 13, 2021 01:37I had another Samsung tablet before and I'm very happy with, so I got another.
Apr 02, 2021 19:07You can't move apps to an SD card but you can download from the internet to the SD card. You can download movies from apps like Disney so they can be watched offline. The only app I can't do this with is Netflix, it has to use the internal storage. Any pictures or videos in kids mode can be saved to an SD card. There is a fast charge option that you can select but when I use my chargers (even the charger included) it greys out the fast charge option. It uses the regular charge only and it says 3 hours till full charge when it's at 50%. After researching I found that some can get a full charge within 1.5-2 hours if they use a 25W or 45W fast charger. I have an Anker portable battery pack that can fast charge any device I have except this one. Fast charge technology has been out on older, smaller phones for years now so I'm not sure why Samsung left it out.
Oct 25, 2021 18:36Great gaming device also color contrast was good works online real goodI would refer it to a friend
Mar 27, 2021 04:18My son luv it ,so do I. Gud quality.i wil buy it again as a gift
Dec 26, 2020 13:55Watch your favorite movie with this twilight blue Amazon Fire HD 10 tablet. The Full HD screen resolution produces crisp, bright visuals on the 10.1-inch display, and 32GB of internal storage offers plenty of space for apps and media. This Amazon Fire HD 10 tablet has an octa-core 2.0GHz processor and 2GB of RAM for smooth games and videos.
They were out of e-readers so I settled for this. Great feel but not looking to use it for any type of mobile gaming, just an e-reader.
however, since the e-books I have are not compatible with any of the e-reader apps Amazon provides, even Kindle, I had to side load Google Play Store and go for my trusted e-reader app that accepts my e-books.
The only complaint and I am not sure there is a fix for it, just have to Google it I guess. Every time I open up the Fire, I get the ads for games to play. Don't really like those.
Nov 10, 2019 18:50This device exceeded my expectations, I bought this pad for my 21 yr old autistic son and loaded it with quality blues clues seasonal episodes and Disney movies. What a perfect device ! Although he is severely disabled he is able to navigate it on his own, he loves it and his therapists have requested to acquire learning apps for the device due to his positive response to it. The resolution of the screen is great and the expandable memory a plus, thank you Best Buy
Jul 24, 2020 20:48After adding the Google Play Store, we use the Kindle as a Square Up Register.
Jul 15, 2020 16:55This tablet is easy to use. You can play all kinds of games on it. The speakers are very loud. Resolution is awesome. I would buy this tablet again if it ever broke.
May 09, 2020 09:23Great quality
Wonderful size screen
Beautiful color
Easy to use
Dec 14, 2019 10:55Second fire tablet 1 st 2nd generation tablet like the new usb c charging
Jan 31, 2020 20:25Great gift. My Niece loves it. Works great for her
Dec 27, 2019 17:39I initially purchased this as a bday gift for a thirteen year old little girl and her eight year old little sister enjoyed it so much I bought her one for her bday also. It’s great for reading, games, learning, listening to music and best of all are the parental controls. You choose how long they can play on the device or if they have to read or complete educational activities before it will allow them to play games. You also decide how much time a day it will allow them access. The price point was awesome so it didn’t hurt my pockets to buy two. Great for road trips!
Dec 16, 2020 19:55Your perfect everyday companion. New 10.5" Surface Go 2 is perfect for keeping up and winding down - delivering tablet portability with laptop versatility, long battery life, a stunning touchscreen, and Windows security for the whole family. Browse, shop, and manage email with ease, relax with your favorite TV shows, and much more.
After spending some time with the Surface Go 2, here is my review:
I really like Microsoft’s Surface Go 2, it is ultra slim, ultra portable, at a fair price. As someone who has the first generation Surface Go (which I also like) I was excited to give this New generation of surface Go a try.
As far as laptops go, the specs on this device are pretty average. But I can honestly tell you that it handles all my computing needs very well.
The surface Go 2 is for your average user who wants to check emails, web browse, listen to music, watch videos etc. I purposely tried to push this device as far as it could realistically go, I opened up several webpages, I checked my email, I had like three YouTube videos playing at the same time as well as Microsoft Word open, and it handled everything without any noticeable slowdown.
I’m sure that this device would not be able to handle professional users who would use this for heavy video editing or Photoshopping big files, And It’s definitely not for gamers as this device would not be able to run most newer games, but for everyone else like me, this device is all I need for what I do.
A word of advice, The first thing you should do after you boot up your device is to update to the newest Microsoft edge web browser, It considerably sped everything up.
An accessory that is actually a must, is the keyboard, not only do you add physical keys to the tablet, but it also comes with a trackpad, and it converts your tablet into a true laptop. The keyboard itself is well-built, it attaches to the tablet magnetically, and it doesn’t require any batteries as it draws power from the tablet itself.
I would recommend the Surface Go 2 over a similarly priced laptop for a couple reasons. This device is ultra slim, ultra portable, and made with premium materials, it is a two in one tablet/laptop, it doesn’t make any noise because it doesn’t have any air vents, and the battery lasts a reasonably long enough time to power the device for a few hours.
A lot of people will look at the specs and determine that this device is somehow slow or under powered without even trying it out. Like stated in my review that is not the case.

Jul 09, 2020 18:35To start with, I want to make it clear that I am a Tech Insider Network member and I received this tablet free of charge from Best Buy. Reviewers in this invitation-only program are provided products for the purpose of writing honest, unbiased reviews.
While this might make one think that my review will be skewed, I actually feel I am in a unique position to review this item since I did not make an emotionally charged purchase.
To begin with, I think it is important to recognize that this specific tablet in the Microsoft Surface Go 2 lineup is probably the minimum-speced choice I would go with for anyone that expects to be able to multitask on this device. The 8gb of 1867mHz speed RAM is the MINIMUM needed to yield a smooth, stutter free experience on a full Windows desktop device like this—4gb ram is anemic in today’s computation world and it is almost a disservice that companies are still offering that little RAM on higher end devices. The storage this offers in the form of 128gb of onboard storage from a Toshiba BG4 SSD with read speeds of 1400mb/s and write of 800mb/s according to my testing is not bad! The real chokepoint of this device I would say is the 2-core, 4-thread Intel Pentium processor. While it is not the slowest processor to be utilized in a Windows tablet, it is definitely going to be the culprit behind any slow Operating System speed and program launch/navigation slowness detectable to the user. Altogether though, this trim of the Surface Go 2 will surpass the expectations of most everyday users. Now let’s talk more about how I think the use experience is.
First of all, to get the full laptop-like experience out of this, I think that a keyboard is almost mandatory. I have been using the Microsoft Surface Go signature type cover that Microsoft also sent me and I have been nothing but impressed by it. As a matter of fact, it is what I am typing this review on right now. The tablet functionality of the Surface 2 Go is great but to fully utilize the Windows OS a keyboard is the best way to take advantage of it. 2nd, for those who want to get the most out of the tablet functionality of this device, a pen such as the Microsoft Surface Pen is going to greatly enhance that experience. Finally, the IO on this device is minimal in the form of one 3.5mm headphone/speaker jack, a USB-C port, the charging port, and a micro-SDXC port. Thus, to get full usage out of it, I would recommend a USB-C port expander or dock if you need more port needs than what is offered on the device. As for the device itself, I think from the hinge on kickstand, to the Windows Hello log-in feature (similar to face-ID on Apple iOS), to the beautiful bright 1920X1280 screen (with appropriate bezels for being able to use as a tablet without having accidental-touches), this thing is just great to use. It really is so many rungs above other tablets on the ladder of tablet hierarchy.
Where does this tablet fit into the workflow/use case of a potential user at its price point and functionality? I think really it is for someone who really needs the portability or actual features of a 10.5inch tablet with full Windows 10 accessibility who needs a laptop secondarily. The reasoning for this is that at the price point of this device with the additional purchase of a Surface Go type cover, there are faster, better featured Windows laptops. As such, I would highly recommend a prospective buyer look at whether they need a tablet, a laptop, or something like this that performs moderately well in both roles. A tip I want to offer is that this tablet comes loaded with Windows 10 S, a sort of truncated, Windows-app-only version of Windows 10, so when you are ready to download Google Chrome and other non-Windows suite apps and programs, you will have to take a minute to switch to the normal version of Windows 10—not too difficult but a step that must be taken none-the-less.
Overall, I think this is an incredibly well built, quality device and will certainly make a good purchase for those who meet criteria I outlined above.
Jul 09, 2020 12:54TL:DR Overall a great little device, super portable even with the optional keyboard attached, easily fast enough for basic computing!
Processor- The Pentium 4425y isn't a speed demon at a base clock of 1.7Ghz over 2cores/4threads with no boost, but it sips power, and works for basic stuff (browsing/email/netflix/Youtube) without issues! Scored a 418 single/974 multi on Geekbench 5, and 2162s/4296m on Geekbench 4.
Ram- It has 8GB of dual channel LPDDR3 1866. Not the fastest memory, or the largest amount, but perfect for basic computing (and its power efficient), any less and you'll really notice once you have a few browser tabs open.
Storage- The 128GB SSD is just big enough, and quite speedy. Its a true NVME based SSD, albeit a slower one (mine is a Toshiba branded one). I saw a peak of 1.8GB/s reads and 800MB/s writes with crystaldiskmark 6. Better than SATA based SSDs and blows eMMC out of the water.
Screen- The screen is quite nice, personally I feel like the peak brightness is a bit lower than you'd want to use outside, but the resolution/pixel density is great and the size isn't too small.
Graphics- Definitely a low point for this device, but the Intel UHD 615 is not really meant for PC gaming. Retro gaming should be fine, it also handles Hearthstone like a champ, but beyond that you can use one of the many streaming services to get a better gaming experience on it. It scored an 833 in 3Dmark Firestrike.
Network- Hilariously good WiFi, the Intel WiFi 6 AX200. Microsoft did not need to put this good/recent of a WiFi setup in this device, but they did. I have a Ubiquiti AC Wave2 access point, and this little guy connected (line of sight, 15ish ft away) at 1.7Gbps OVER WIFI! (this is Windows reported connection speed, I do not have the ability to do a true throughput test as my gigabit switch will be a bottleneck)
Cameras- The devices has a much better front facing camera than the junk they're still putting in multi thousand dollar devices from some other device manufacturers, and Windows Hello face login is super fast and easy! The rear camera isn't anything to write home about, but works decently enough.

Jul 09, 2020 08:03“Reviewers in this invitation-only program are provided products for the purpose of writing honest, unbiased reviews.” Microsoft was kind enough to send me the Surface Go 2 for review. I originally purchased the Surface Go 1 so I have a good amount of experience using it day to day. The Go 2 has a few upgrades that in my opinion make a difference. First the screen now has smaller bezels and a slightly larger viewing area. It’s an aesthetic upgrade but really makes the tablet look more modern. As far as performance this model has 8gb of ram vs my original model which had 4gb. I strongly recommend buying atleast the mid grade model as i have noticed more speed and less slowdown when using multiple programs or taxing the processor with the additional ram. The front facing camera is also one of the best you will find and works great for conference calls. Unfortunately S mode is app limited but i switched out of that with no noticeable issues. The Microsoft Edge browser is outstanding. They actually have a new version which has lots of homescreen options i have been using. The screen is the best i have used for not showing fingerprints at the expense of some glare. The weight and portability is the reason to buy this and the stand is the best especially for a tablet design without needing a case to provide one. It is impressive how light, portable and functional this is. I also have the keyboard cover and the pen. I do consider the pen optional but to get the full benefits from windows the keyboard realistically isn’t optional. That’s where the 4 stars comes in. None of this is inexpensive and the costs can add up. I do feel a better value would have been to include the Microsoft sleeve in the 2 highest configurations as that would have added some value without including their most premium accessories. Overall i enjoy my original Surface Go and Microsoft did a great job improving the things I thought were weaknesses on the first one. For a student or anyone that loves portability and doesn’t need all the additional power this will definitely do the job and do it well.
Jul 08, 2020 11:44I recieved this item in return of my unbiased review from the Tech Insiders Network. To start this is a nice alternative for a laptop or p.c., I really like the responsiveness of the touchscreen. The rear kickstand comes in handy as well, especially when using the Microsoft docking keypad/ screen cover. This surface go with its Intel pentium processor is pretty snappy and multi tasks well. This device gets pretty warm to the touch under very light use.
Battery life is pretty good considering the tablets thin dimensions. Storage of 128 gb is ample in my opinion for software and apps or games. I tend to let my 2 sons use it for school work and myself for surfing the net. I really wish there was a included pen & wireless mouse, but those are a extra cost. I really like the built in face recognition for signing into the tablet. No need for a password with the face recognition, which I really enjoy. The two forward facing speakers are decent.
I was happy to find out this has wifi 6 built in, and connects seamlessly with my Asus wifi6 router with a speedy connection over wifi. Build quality is very good, seems to be made of aluminum rather than cheap plastics. Overall this a good tablet capable of multitasking easily, but I wou,d reccomend getting a wireless mouse and pen for it as well.
Jul 08, 2020 16:28I received this product in affiliation with the Tech Insider Network. Reviewers in this invitation-only program are provided products for the purpose of writing honest, unbiased reviews. That I received this product at no cost did not influence my review in any way. My review is based on my opinion and experience using it.
I am going to focus as much of my review as possible on the tablet functionality, even though I am using it with the Surface Go Signature Type Cover, which is a keyboard/cover accessory that is available as an optional purchase. It is well worth the added expense, and I highly recommend getting both. The Surface Go 2 is an outstanding tablet, but with the keyboard it becomes an even more capable and portable hybrid tablet/laptop.
Out of the box it is running Windows 10 S, which I immediately converted to standard Windows 10. Most users will want to do the conversion because Windows S is a walled garden OS that limits the user to the Edge browser, and the limited number of Apps in the Microsoft Windows S Store. Most importantly, there are no Google Apps available in Windows S. So if you are a user of Google Apps, like I am, you will immediately want to convert to standard Windows 10. I did not use Windows S enough to compare its performance compared to Windows 10, but I am very satisfied with the overall Windows 10 performance of this device.
Setup consisted of charging, powering it on, signing on to Wi-Fi, and then Windows. I already have a Microsoft account so I did not need to create a new account.
Included is a proprietary power adapter that magnetically attaches to the Surface Go 2 charging port. It is an interesting design, and I am still trying to decide if I like it or not. The upside is it attaches securely because of the strong magnet, but also attaches in a smooth way that should not put as much stress on the port as a standard connection. The downside is that it is a proprietary adapter. Fortunately there is a USB C port that can be used to connect accessories and power the device. So it is not necessary to take the power adapter everywhere because the Surface Go 2 can be charged with a, what is now becoming the universal standard, USB C cord. But I did find that a typical 5 watt power adapter did not provide enough power to charge this device, and I had to use a minimum of an 18 watt adapter.
The high resolution screen looks fabulous and is great for watching videos. I have tested it with Netflix and Vudu, and find the video quality to be excellent. The touch screen is very responsive and works well.
The build quality and visual appeal are impressive. The aluminum body is lightweight and thin, making it very easy to handle. The kickstand is incorporated into the back of the device, and allows instant and secure adjustment for optimal viewing angles. I want to give the kickstand design a special mention because it is without reservation, the smoothest design I have ever used.
The speaker sound quality is passable, and typical for such a thin tablet. For listening to videos or music, I use Bluetooth headphones.
The battery takes about 2 hours to fully charge. I was able to use it all day without having to recharge it until the next day. I would say it lasted me about 8-10 hours.
There is a Micro SD port if more memory is required than the 128 GB flash memory that is equipped. The Micro SD port is also useful to transfer files between devices.
---Conclusion---
The Surface Go 2 features an elegant and lightweight design that is, as the name implies, easy to take on the go. The Go name describes who this device is for, and what it does best. It is perfect for someone that wants to have power and versatility in a slim, portable tablet/laptop form factor. If you are a user of power intensive applications, then you will need a more powerful device. But the Surface Go 2 has more than enough processing power and memory to handle most day to day productivity and entertainment needs easily.
Jul 10, 2020 11:46Good tablet but definitely not a computer(laptop) replacement. It's slow and lags at times unfortunately all depends what you use it for. Good for emails and light web browsing some movies and on the go light work for in-between times when a desktop or laptop is unavailable. Microsoft should up the processor to i3 minimum for a good overall 10" tablet @64bit.
Aug 26, 2020 15:34I received this product from Best Buy through their Tech Insider Network Program. Reviewers in this invitation-only program are provided products for the purpose of writing honest, unbiased reviews.
I was very eager to receive and test the Microsoft Surface Go 2 as this was a product I had been “window shopping” for a couple years. After a week of use I must admit I’m not as excited about it as I initially was, but I do think it’s a great product. The Surface Go 2 is impressively lightweight, while retaining a solid build. I love the kickstand design feature and was impressed with its range of motion and its sturdiness. The combination of the kickstand with the signature keyboard cover is what makes the Surface Go 2 a fully functional 2-in-1 laptop. While the signature keyboard cover was also provided for this review, it is not included with the Surface Go 2 and has to be purchased separately. (I can’t imagine owning the Surface Go 2 without it, so it’s unfortunate that it’s not included.)
Initial set up of the Surface Go 2 was quick and easy. As soon as the device was turned on, Cortana guided me through the set up. I did not care for the limitations of the Windows 10 S mode, but for the purpose of this review I did not switch out of it (because you cannot switch back afterwards). With Windows 10 S mode, you are not able to download Google apps, even Chrome, and, overall, are limited by Microsoft on what programs can even be used on the Surface Go 2. While Microsoft Edge has been improved upon, it’s still not a favorite of mine so this little nuance is problematic for me personally. Outside of this annoyance, the Surface Go 2’s performance is worthy of comparison to a laptop. I opened and used a handful of programs – not all at once – and felt that they all performed the same as they would on a laptop. When watching shows on Hulu, I was very impressed with the speakers and how loud the sound was from them. A pleasant surprise with the Surface Go 2 is that it still contains a headphone jack, especially in a time where this feature is starting to disappear. It additionally contains a USB – type C port and a slot for a SD card, but no USB- type A or micro type B slots. The cameras on the Surface Go 2 are decent, but definitely do not hold water to what most cell phones are capable of. Although not super high quality, the cameras appear to be sufficient for video calls and meetings. The battery life seemed accurate to what is spec’d by Microsoft, which makes this device a great for traveling.
I wasn’t particularly impressed with the screen resolution, but it is more than adequate for the main uses with this device. In addition, I did feel that the touch screen was a bit finicky and didn’t always respond as accurately as it should – even after re-calibrating it. (I am already considering purchasing the surface pen because of this.) I did have a couple hiccups with an app and web page not opening, which could be a short coming of the Windows 10 S mode, but other than that, I didn’t have any serious issues while using the Surface Go 2 for the week.
After my short test trial of the Surface Go 2, I’m not sure I would strongly recommend that this be the device for you. It’s considerably more powerful than the average tablet, but it isn’t up to par with the average 2-in-1 laptops on the market today. It falls in an interesting category of needing something light and compact for traveling, while also being capable of running office programs like a PC, but it isn’t going to replace your primary laptop. If you’re not looking to use this device beyond what most tablets can do, then I would recommend looking at non-2-in-1 tablets as they tend to be much cheaper. If you’re looking to use this as your primary 2-in-1 laptop, then I would strongly suggest making sure all the programs you would need access to can be installed and used on this device, without severely inhibiting its performance. If you’re looking for a powerful tablet, with limited PC capabilities, then this might be the perfect device for you to splurge a bit for.
Jul 13, 2020 10:48Bright, fast, and responsive.
Love this tablet. Great price, excellent quality, Fave Place on the planet.
Nov 07, 2021 20:54Great updates, was different from the last 10 that came out. Would highly recommend. Faster and no lag time on this tablet, and picture clear.
Sep 18, 2021 18:02Actually this is my second one . Excellent product, my granddaughter love it!
Oct 20, 2021 09:27Excellent updated 10, Went with the 64, so we didn't have to put a card in this one from the last 10 I had. Great picture on it.
Sep 18, 2021 18:04This is a very good edition and has great graphic. Good bargain.
Oct 22, 2021 20:47I LOVE this tab sooo much faster than my fire 8 and brighter with more volume.
Jun 18, 2021 19:43Best tablet I have had. Battery lasts for a long time. I use it for Netflix and Hulu and get a great picture and sound
Sep 10, 2021 21:57Excellent tablet, easy to use. My granddaughter love it!
Oct 20, 2021 09:14Work on pending assignments while on the move with this Lenovo Chromebook Duet. The 10.1-inch touch screen provides an interactive user experience, while the 128GB of internal storage offer ample space for apps and media files. This Lenovo Chromebook Duet features a MediaTek Helio P60T processor and 4GB of RAM for effortless multitasking.
With so many Chromebooks in this price range feeling overwhelmingly cheap and low quality, not only is the Duet a breath of fresh air but a steal as well. I purchased this little guy as a bit of a 'sidegrade' from my aging Chromebook Plus, and since then I haven't looked back! Even my 2020 iPad Pro is collecting dust!
So far, performance has been excellent when you keep in mind what this little tablet is. The ARM processor in the Lenovo scores roughly double that of the previously mentioned Chromebook on synthetic benchmarks, and so far I've experienced minimal issues or hiccups (for you phone geeks out there, the processor falls in somewhere in-between the admittedly ancient Snapdragon 810 and 835). It zips through everyday tasks such as word processing and web browsing with ease using 4-5 tabs, though video playback through the browser can make it sweat a little with some minor hitches. If you're looking for something to do heavy lifting or lots of multitasking, I'd look elsewhere.
Build quality for the price is absolutely nuts as well. The tablet and keyboard sections of the device feel great, and I feel they punch decently above their price class. Especially the tablet, which I find to be very pretty and premium feeling! To note, people with larger hands may find the keyboard a bit uncomfortable and cramped, but those with glove size M and below should be totally fine.
However, the back kickstand and the plastic trackpad feel a bit on the flimsy side (though I wouldn't exactly use the word cheap). But at the end of the day, what are you really going to complain about? It's less than 300 bucks and didn't "need" to be bundled! I'm just happy the extra accessories were included at this almost suspiciously low price.
Android apps also work like a dream for the most part. Most basic apps such as Youtube, Gmail, VLC, Minecraft, ect. seem to work just fine without any trouble. But if you really like to tinker, it is very easy to unlock Developer Mode to mess with 3rd party apps such as Youtube Vanced, which work wonderfully. The only issues I encountered were the Netflix and Hulu apps streaming only in standard definition (non-HD) quality, which is super lame but is a Chrome OS issue not specific to this machine. The Disney Plus app works a treat though, and either way non-HD playback issues can be resolved simply by using the internet browser instead of an app.
Screen and speaker quality are also definitely great for the price. Many people have bashed the speaker quality online, but I actually find them fairly decent with better-than-average mid and high notes. Admittedly, bass and lower frequency reproduction is completely non-existent, but I feel like this could be helped if Google implemented an in-OS volume equalizer. Come on Google!
The built in screen is a high-resolution, full-HD, IPS panel. Which is again, slightly unexpected at this price point. Viewing angles are excellent, though my model in particular seems to have some very slight color and brightness uniformity issues. This seems to be more of my trained eye than anything else, as no other people have noticed any difference on my unit. Just figured I'd mention for you picky folks out there, but I'm chalking this one up ultimately as a non-issue and more to do with the screen technology itself. Especially since I've seen much more egregious cases of this on $1000+ devices. Also: if you plan on transporting this with the keyboard attached... Be absolutely sure to buy a screen protector, as my tempered glass shield has already accumulated quite a collection of fine scratches after less than a month of use!
Hey, if you're still here thanks for reading! At the end of the day, I couldn't recommend this tablet/ 2-in-1 enough for anybody looking to spend less than 400 bucks on a Chromebook. It runs cool, silent, and very quick as long as you don't throw too many things at it. I can see myself using this as a workshop companion for years to come... Or at least until Lenovo or another manufacturer makes a worthy successor!
Mar 29, 2021 14:00This is a great little device. Build quality is excellent. Screen is bright and colorful. Performance is snappy on the browser, and even better with Android apps/games (never quite realized how an ARM processor on a Chromebook can make such a difference compared to an Intel in this regard). Google Stadia games run great as well. Keyboard is quite good, despite the cramped punctuation keys on the right side, and the magnetic attachment is very secure. Stereo speakers are a bit tinny but plenty loud.
Battery life is supposed to be great as well, although I haven't had it long enough to put it through its paces. Lenovo advertises 10 hours on a charge, but many reviewers have been observing 10-12 hours, depending on the activity. The included charger is not a fast charger, but that's ok -- I have plenty of fast chargers lying around at home that are compatible.
Software support is terrific -- this is one of the first Chromebooks to have a guaranteed 8 years of Chrome OS updates (through June 2028), which is up from 5-6 years for previous Chromebooks.
I think Lenovo did a a bang-up job with this device -- one almost wonders if it was a mistake (given the astonishingly low price) or if the higher ups in the company just let the Chromebook division do whatever it wanted to do without really paying attention. It really is the spiritual successor to the Pixel C (or what the Pixel C was supposed to be in the first place -- a Chromebook), and is now an excellent option for those bemoaning the lack of good Android tablets.
Jun 27, 2020 15:17I purchased two of the Lenovo Duet Chromebooks (to replace two aging ASUS Flip C100P Chromebooks)--one for each of our school age boys. While the ASUS provided a great starter Chromebook experience to introduce our boys to a blend of web and android apps, it was starting to noticeably age and programs were not working as well anymore. When I heard about the Duet earlier this year, I immediately started to follow the news and preordered two from BB at the end of April. After all the wait and hype, I was not disappointed. For my kids, this is by far the best value for the money and gives them everything they need for virtual school and beyond. Prior to having the Duet, our boys would use a mix of their Chromebooks and Amazon Fire Tablets for school/apps/media consumption. Now with the Duet, they are no longer interested in their Amazon Fire Tablets and use their Chromebooks for all school/apps/media consumption. The screen quality as well as the included keyboard and kickstand make this a great device for them and relatively easy to use. As a parent, having controls that are easy to set up and maintain over what they can access on the web through supervising their accounts with Google Family Link makes the experience of a Chromebook highly preferable to either pure Android/Apple devices (and I own and use both). In addition to the Lenovo Duet Chromebook, we purchased two of the HP USI Rechargeable Styluses (directly from HP as they are not yet available through BB) to augment their Duets. I'll also briefly mention that access for a line-in audio only through the one USB-C port does not hinder our ability to use the devices as our boys use reasonably priced Bluetooth Headphones (EasySM brand from Amazon) which pair and stay connected without any problems. The combination of the Duet, the USI Stylus, and Bluetooth Headphones is an amazing blend that all work well together. So glad that we found the Lenovo Duet Chromebook and I would highly recommend it for those looking for both a great value and high quality Chromebook for their kids!
Jun 01, 2020 12:57I brought it to my grandson Clayton yesterday. He set it up himself and is having fun finding out all that he can do with it! He will be doing his class school work on it daily.
May 20, 2020 09:44Small, incredibly light, and yet has excellent battery life, and runs Android apps exceptionally well.
Chrome OS is finally starting to show it's ready for tablets.
Jul 18, 2020 20:38I am completely happy with product. I purchased this for my niece.
Oct 29, 2021 21:31Fast, secure, versatile, exceptional battery life with a fantastic display! Can't say enough great things about the Lenovo Duet!
Oct 22, 2021 16:08This Chromebook is more of what I have expected
HD display is truly crystal clear and fast pace ftom one app to another
Sep 07, 2021 11:06Your perfect everyday companion.
Best purchase I’ve made in a while. I was debating on the Surface Go 2 versus Net Books and I’m glad I chose to go with this beauty. Once I took it off S mode it worked just as a laptop. Taking it off the unwanted S mode to many user was extremely easy to do so. Since I’ve had zero issues on downloading apps and been able to use a Military CAC reader for my travels and at home usage.
Sep 30, 2021 15:45Great device to watch tv on or do anything on I love it!! It’s by far my favorite device I’ve owned.
Jun 29, 2021 17:38Overall you get less than what you pay for. Didn't think it would be this low powered and the cpu is 100% used when you're just scrolling on the laptop. 400 dollar phones are better than this thing.
Apr 01, 2021 07:44Would give it 0 stars if possible. 1st one camera stopped working and had to disable to boot up. Only 3 months old and had to accept a refurbished unit as replacement. That one failed immediately (screen was upside down when rotated 90 degrees)... yet another refurbished unit showed up to have the exact same problem (even during the initial setup)... screen upside down when turned 90 degrees.
Oct 19, 2021 15:26Buyer beware.
YOU CANNOT INSTALL ANY THIRD PARTY SOFTWARE.
Windows 10 S is not a normal Windows Operating system. I saw "Windows" and just assumed this Surface Go would work like every other Windows computer I have owned. This is not the case. Windows 10 S is NOT normal Windows.
This includes other browsers and EVEN TITLES from Microsoft themselves. Windows Journal from Microsoft.com will not install from their website.
Only an upgrade to Windows PRO is the only answer.
QUOTE FROM MICROSOFT Website
My Windows 10 S PC won't install some apps. Is that normal?
If you have a Windows 10 PC running Windows 10 S (such as a Surface Laptop), you may notice that it won't install apps from outside the Microsoft Store. Don't worry—that's the way we designed it.
By exclusively running apps from the Microsoft Store, Windows 10 S helps keep your PC running fast and secure and provides peace of mind by removing the risks that come with downloading apps from other places.
Feb 22, 2021 11:00Don't buy this if you want a laptop. Also the photo is misleading...there is no keyboard! It's basically an ipad and not the most efficient. Once I got used to it, I thought ok it functions for me just fine...but I expected an actual laptop. Wasn't happy at all.
Apr 16, 2021 16:10Hands-down this is the smallest most fastest ipad/ laptop that I could connect anywhere to so that I can work from anywhere. I can download any software for me to do payroll from anywhere ! For vacations it is easy to pack in my purse because it’s very thin and compact and small very well worth your money. No over heat it lasts days without being charged. Worth every penny !
Sep 18, 2021 16:24Not satisfied with product quality at all it only worked for about a week
Nov 21, 2020 13:31Lenovo™ Tab M10 Plus is one impressive media tablet from the 2nd generation tab family. Its standout metal design gives you a premium look and feel with modern simplicity. Inside lies a 10.3" FHD screen and dual speakers for truly immersive entertainment. This is one tablet you will want to use and pass around the house.
Powerful.
I am satisfied with the purchase. So far my only dislike was the way it was delivered. Fed x dropped it in the water on a front porch step that we never use. Thank god they made a loud noise or we would not have known it was there. The water did not get into the inner box. I am still playing with the device but so far so good.
Oct 15, 2021 18:50This was VERY easy to set up with cellular. I had ordered an iPad from verizon only to find out that it was back ordered till mid October. I got this one in one day and got it set up within minutes.
Oct 04, 2021 07:38I spent so much time at the Apple store and the people that work there are so nice and the managers especially one woman in particular are very rude and mean and it’s such a pleasure to come to a place were you know the people not only have a lot of knowledge as much as they Apple store pretty much but they’re very kind and they really care and they give of themselves and their time it’s just incredible
Oct 30, 2021 01:06Was a tad bigger than old ipad so I had to buy a new protective case. Not sure it works as well as I expected. Have to reload some sites after looking at another site.
Oct 29, 2021 18:24Simple and functional for the entire family. The screen size is just right for watching movies while traveling. It is the best choice at this price point.
Oct 29, 2021 20:52This iPad is fast and efficient. I'm very happy with it and would recommend it to others.
Oct 22, 2021 17:17Exactly what you want in an ipad. Not too small but not a beast either. Great size for young kids
Nov 06, 2021 08:10Great product. Upgraded from a previous iPad and this is great.
Nov 22, 2021 06:54DL1036 with a 10.1" IPS display and a resolution of 800*1280 will be your best choice. Turn on the DL1036, indulge yourself in the colorful and vivid world presented by the beautiful display. Be a journalist of your own From now on! DL1036 with a 2MP rear camera and a 2MP Front Camera will play a good role in your journalist life. A built-in memory storage of 32 GB of DL1036 is going to satisfy all your needs. Storage can also be expanded by using a micro SD card. With such a large screen and all the fantastic equipment, you are probably assuming DL1036 must be a burden to carry. But to your surprise, it's extremely thin and only weight at 480g tablet.
The tablet is excellent, the battery is even better. Video calling is great. I have one complaint, the charger that came with it. I tried unplugging it from the outlet and the charger box separated.
Dec 02, 2020 14:47Looking inside the tablet are high quality parts from major high-end suppliers like MediaTek and Kingston. Here are pictures from inside the tablet, from the FCC's page for this particular model. Instead of using cheap chips from no-name companies, they used good chips from quality companies like MediaTek and Kingston, so there's good quality stuff inside. The battery (which lasts a LONG time) is very decent too: 3.8v/5000ma/19Wh.
(FCC's page for this model: https://fccid.io/XMF-MID1032 -- the DL1036 is known as the MID1032 outside the USA).
Very happy with the unit.
Nov 25, 2020 17:23It’s good tablets for kids and sometimes goes off by itself. I bought this Tablet for my daughter.
Jul 31, 2021 20:08This tablet is absolutely remarkable for the price! Bought it for my husband who never operated anything more than a simple/basic flip phone. The size is perfect and after having it for several months it has never crashed and operation is easy and smooth. We only have Spectrums slowest speed but this tablet still quickly goes from page to page. The screen keyboard is large and really easy to read. He's a real pro now and uses this tablet a minimum of 5hrs every day since he's had it. He loves it and could go on about how great it is for a company we weren't even familiar. It's definitely worth the price!
Mar 29, 2021 19:01I love i use it for a sim racing dashboard works amazing
Dec 19, 2020 11:15This tablet was fairly simple to set up and I had no problem downloading the apps I like onto it. It is easy to navigate and goes on the internet with no problem. The only problem I have so far is that my Kindle & Audible book apps that I installed on it won't open the books on them to read/listen to. These programs run great on my Samsung phone, but not on this table. However my Kobo book app runs great on it, so I guess I'll read the books I have in Kobo instead.
Jan 08, 2021 18:02The charger part brook in a week it got stuck on the cord. And now I’m having trouble Charging it
Jan 08, 2021 18:24Very weak broke in 1 day after my son drop it even with the case the screen busted not worth it to fix it very disappointed best buy asking $150 to fix it..
Jan 15, 2021 16:18The most portable Surface touchscreen 2-in-1 is perfect for your everyday tasks, homework, and play. Designed to light up the best of Windows 11, Surface Go 3 is optimized for digital pen and touch, with a choice of a faster Intel® Pentium® or Intel® Core™ i3 processor, plus all-day battery⁹, tablet-to-laptop versatility, and comprehensive Microsoft security.
I absolutely love this product. No issues straight out of the box and the display is beautiful.
Nov 11, 2021 11:21Really good tablet but only for work use and school. It can play games but nothing heavy, if you are expecting to multitask on this like a surface pro you’ll be highly disappointed. It doesn’t lag to much but you’ll noticed a wait time for a split second when doing more than two or 3 tasks at a time.
Oct 08, 2021 22:10Bought this about a month ago as a secondary computer and it's done well so far. My main computer is an ASUS ROG laptop, and as much as I love the performance it has, it's just not as easy to bring around as the surface go 3 is. I still do all of my gaming and big tasks like video editing and heavy browsing on my main computer, but the surface holds its own. It's not the greatest in terms of performance, but i can run Lightroom just fine with only a minimal amount of lag compared to my main setup. Google chrome can run a few tabs just fine and if you need to throw a couple of clips together using the built in video editor that will work too. I haven't tried, but i highly doubt you can do serious video editing on this considering the specifications. Exporting edited photos takes a bit longer but for something that i bring around with me on the go, it's perfect. Cameras are decent, nothing crazy. Screen is nice and responsive. Definitely recommend taking it out of windows "s" mode and buying the keyboard cover for it; it gives it a nice touch and it's very useful. I have not tried any gaming on it and i don't plan to since i have my other laptop. Definitely would recommend though to someone who doesn't do a lot of stuff or as a secondary, on the go solution.
Nov 19, 2021 16:28This is my first Surface and I love it !
Have been using it for drawing and windows has some great apps like Leonardo and Medibang for my liking.
Only drawback :
No slot to hold the pen ( unlike the Samsung Galaxy tab A )
With a 4 GB ram, it cannot be used as a laptop but for a tablet, it works just ok.
Oct 22, 2021 16:19Great form factor and lightweight. The battery runtime is too short and does not last as long as advertised. even close with just basic web browsing. Not worth the money.
Oct 15, 2021 15:42Love the MS Surface go 3. Boot up quickly and is perfect for my needs.
Oct 16, 2021 07:11The Best!! Holds a lot of storage for my school apps. Very easy to carry with me when I am on the go.
Oct 24, 2021 21:48Great communication, Thank you very much..........
Oct 20, 2021 11:30The most portable Surface touchscreen 2-in-1 is perfect for your everyday tasks, homework, and play.
The Microsoft Surface Go 3 tablet is the latest Microsoft Surface tablet. Based on the Surface Go 2, this new model offers superior processors. It also comes with Windows 11 installed!
The Surface Go 3 ships with only a power supply and Quick-Start Guide. The almost essential keyboard accessory is not bundled with the tablet. This is unfortunate particularly since many users will select the Microsoft Surface Go 3 to serve as a “miniature” laptop, which is significantly impeded without a keyboard and trackpad or mouse.
Where Android, iPadOS or Chrome OS tablets are primarily browser-centric devices utilized for streaming videos and Internet, the Microsoft Surface Go 3 tablet is suitable for much more. The distinguishing feature is the Windows 11 operating system which makes the Surface Go 3 capable of being used as a very portable mini-laptop.
Having Windows 11s powerful computing capabilities and ability to run real Windows applications is something that very significantly distinguishes the Surface Go 3 from non-Microsoft tablets running operating systems which limit those devices to mobile type apps in closed ecosystems. Interestingly, Microsoft is currently Beta testing running Android apps downloaded from the Amazon app store on Windows 11.
Productive use of many Windows applications, which are generally not optimized for touchscreens, is extremely difficult without a keyboard and trackpad, which is an optional addition for the Surface Go 3 rather than being a standard, bundled accessory. Not having a keyboard serves as a major impediment to effectively using the Surface Go 3 with most Windows applications, and even some Windows system menus and features, including file management. If I had a Surface Go Signature Type Keyboard, I could have typed this review on the Surface Go 3, instead of my laptop, both of which are running Microsoft Office.
The Surface Go 3 has a sleek appearance, and exudes quality. The high quality case is constructed of magnesium which is lightweight yet very strong and durable. The platinum (gray) color is elegant and visually appealing.
The tablet measures 9.65”x6.9”x0.33” (245mm x175mm x8.3 mm), and weighs only 1.2 pounds (544 grams). There is an adjustable, integrated kickstand on the rear to use it in a propped position.
The Surface Go 3 is available with a choice of two CPUs. A Dual-core Intel® Pentium® Gold 6500Y processor or a Dual-core 10th Gen Intel® Core™ i3-10100Y processor are available. These CPUs represent a modest improvement over the Surface Go 2 models. My tablet is equipped with the less expensive, and less powerful Pentium Gold 6500Y CPU. This new CPU for tablets and some notebooks clocks at 1.1 – 1.6 GHz. Intel UHD Graphics 615 GPU is onboard.
Memory selections are 4GB or 8GB of LPDDR3 RAM. My Surface Go 3 is equipped with the maximum 8GB of RAM. Storage choices are 64GB of eMMC or an actual SSD drive with 128GB capacity (118GB formatted).
My Surface Go 3 is equipped with the 128GB Kioxia (formerly Toshiba Memory) KBG40ZPZ128G, PCIe, NVMe, M2 SSD. In addition to the increased storage capacity, the SSD drive is a better and faster storage solution than eMMC.
The Surface Go 3 display is absolutely stellar! The screen is bright and colors are vivid, with excellent color rendition and fidelity. The 10.5” PixelSense Display has a 3:2 aspect ratio, 1920x1280 (220 PPI) resolution, 60 Hz refresh rate, 8-bit depth RGB color and an outstanding 1500:1 contrast ratio,. Videos and TV streams look great and don’t suffer from buffering or lagging! This high quality touchscreen panel is clad in Corning Gorilla Glass 3, which should provide excellent durability. The touchscreen sensitivity is excellent, and it is always responsive. The bezels surrounding the screen are approximately ½” (22mm) wide on the long aspects and approximately ¼” (10mm) wide on the short aspects.
Ports are limited. When in the horizontal, laptop position, the right (short) side has a 3.5mm headphone jack, one (yes, only one) USB-C port and a proprietary Surface Connect port. In the rear of the case, behind the kickstand is a MicroSDXC Card Reader. The bottom (long) side has a Surface Type Cover port for attachment of the optional keyboard. Both the Surface Connect port and Surface Type Cover keyboard port provide magnetic attachment of the connectors. The top (long) side has the very slim Power Button and Volume Control rocker, both of which are almost flush with the case and difficult to depress. LTE cellular support is expected in a forthcoming model.
The Surface Go 3 is equipped with Wi-Fi 6, 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, as well as Bluetooth 5.0.
The front-facing camera is 5MP with 1080p video and IR sensors for facial recognition with Windows Hello logins. The rear-facing auto-focus camera is 8MP, also with 1080p video. The cameras are certainly more than adequate for video conferencing. The built-in microphones are described by Microsoft as Enhanced dual far-field Studio Microphones. The built-in speakers are 2 watts of Dolby Audio and produce good audio with plenty of volume and fidelity and decent stereo spatial characteristics.
Available options include two keyboard choices; the Surface Go Type Cover and the more deluxe, Alcantara material Surface Go Signature Type Cover. The Surface Go 3 can also use the Microsoft Surface Pen (MPP support), and the Surface Mouse.
Initial setup of the new Surface Go 3 tablet is similar to setting up any Windows OS based laptop, with the notable exception that the Surface Go 3 is running the brand new Windows 11 (Home Edition in S Mode). Another differentiator is the lack of a keyboard and trackpad/mouse to facilitate the setup process.
Windows S Mode limits the device to running only those applications which are downloaded and installed from the Microsoft Store, blocking Win32 software (purportedly as an additional layer of security to prevent malware), and limiting browsers to Microsoft Edge. The number of apps in the Microsoft Store is still somewhat limited compared to the other app stores. Windows S Mode can be deactivated, however that change is irrevocable and permanent. S-Mode even prevents use of Microsoft’s own PowerShell. Fortunately, transitioning out of S Mode is quick and easy.
Setting up the Surface Go 3 was my introduction to the just released Windows 11 operating system. The new Windows 11 user interface differs from Windows 10, but still retains some measure of familiarity. Developing a good level of comfort with the new OS occurs quite rapidly. The transition from using Windows 10 to using Windows 11 is easy and frustration free. Windows 11 is evidently intended to be even more user friendly than Windows 10, as well as more touchscreen friendly.
Booting up the Surface Go 3 for the first time revealed that Microsoft has endeavored to improve usability on touchscreens through larger touch targets and increased margins around and separation between visual elements. However, there were still many occasions when a keyboard and trackpad or mouse were needed. Additionally, many Windows elements are still very small and challenging for touchscreen use.
Setting up Windows Hello facial recognition was simple and fast. The facial recognition login functionality worked very reliably and quickly. In fact, Windows Hello facial recognition login has worked 100% of the time without fail, and the process is so rapid that it appears instantaneous. A user PIN number should also be created.
Once the initial setup was completed the Surface Go 3 consistently booted up remarkably fast. The full boot to the desktop, including facial recognition and loading all drivers required only about 21 seconds, which is remarkable!
Upon first use, the Surface Go 3 downloaded and installed 18 updates, including 4 quality updates and 9 driver updates. Downloads were fast with Wi-Fi 6, however installation consumed a lot of time. Within the first 24 hours, more updates were installed, totaling 22 updates in one day.
Using the Surface Go 3 is great! The real world performance of this tablet is very impressive.
The Surface Go 3 performed very well with multiple open browser windows and tabs including live-TV streams running simultaneously. Adding the additional workload of downloading apps and files, the tablet still performed beautifully! Streaming never lagged or paused. Opening, closing and using browser tabs, apps and settings while simultaneously streaming video was smooth, fast and reliable. When the Surface Go 3 CPU is working hard, the rear of the case becomes palpably warm.
Battery performance of course varies with usage. The Li-ion battery capacity is 26.81Wh (3500mAh). Microsoft claims battery life up to 11 hours. With intensive use, including continuous 4k video streaming, significant browser activity and OS updates, the battery lasted approximately 4 hours. Less intensive, mixed use with a couple of hours of video streaming, and almost continuous screen time yielded approximately 7 hours. More typical utilization, with a more modest level of streaming resulted in over 8 hours of battery life with 17% remaining. Recharging from 17% to 100% was estimated by the OS at 1.5 hours, but actually required 2 hours. Overall, the battery performance is decent.
The Surface Go 3 is impressive, and it epitomizes portability and convenience. It is nicely built, compact and lightweight with a superb HD touchscreen, front and rear 1080p cameras, Intel Pentium CPU, 8GB of RAM and 128GB SSD. The case is a thin profile, sleek magnesium shell. The very responsive touchscreen is pleasing to view. The Microsoft Surface Go 3 is an excellent tablet!
The Microsoft Surface Go 3 is fantastic, and a pleasure to use. I am extremely impressed with the Microsoft Surface Go 3, and I am genuinely enjoying it. It is a terrific Windows tablet. Of course, I recommend it highly.
Oct 24, 2021 16:37Once the world’s largest software company, Microsoft is as much a household name today as they were after Windows 95 revolutionized the home computer market by bringing both power and ease-of-use to the masses. Like other current software giants, it came as no surprise that Microsoft would follow their lead and introduce their own line of hardware devices to showcase the best that their software had to offer in a tailored package. The Surface Go 3 is the latest iteration of their smallest Windows device, promising the fully-featured Windows 11 experience in a compact and lightweight tablet. Visually similar to the Go 2 and packing updated hardware, the Surface Go 3 offers a familiar Windows environment in a highly mobile package, but with many compromises that make this difficult to unilaterally recommend..
- Unboxing and Setup
Arriving in a simple, organized, and nearly fully recyclable package, Microsoft’s premium ambitions make a strong first impression. Documentation is limited to a quickstart guide showing off the port and key selection, and the only other included accessory is a 24 watt AC adapter (more on this in Performance & Battery Life).
Setup is as straightforward as Microsoft’s previous Surface devices. With no preinstalled bloatware, just placeholder links to some recommended apps in the start menu after finishing setup, the only added delays to setup are downloading and installing system updates. At least one major update was needed at the time of my setup (Oct 20, 2021) which leads me to believe an early or pre-release variety of Windows was installed from the factory.
- Windows 11
Microsoft’s 2021 Surface line serves as flagships for their latest operating system, Windows 11. Users coming from Windows 10 will be very familiar with the new OS, as many of the same features are present with some enhancements and fresh coats of paint. The new OS doesn’t feel particularly revolutionary, but that’s a good thing - updating the formula rather than starting over was a wise decision to make after some particularly jarring attempts over the years (as was the case with the short-lived Windows 8).
As a tablet OS, Windows 11 is not well suited to the environment. The on-screen keyboard and touch gestures are serviceable but clunky. Windows has trouble picking up when to show the on-screen keyboard, and window management is poor. Even official apps from the Microsoft Store will get occluded by the on-screen keyboard as Windows fails to move, resize, or scroll to make text entry boxes visible. I found that using the Surface Go 3 more as a laptop (by attaching the excellent Surface Go Type Cover) made the experience immensely better, though it does sacrifice the portable tablet form factor for a traditional laptop one.
The Surface Go 3 ships with Windows 11 in “S Mode,” which only allows installation of apps from the Microsoft Store. While there are thousands of great applications on the storefront, the majority of users will want to run their familiar apps. S Mode can be disabled relatively easily from system settings after several warnings about risking security and privacy by switching. I suspect most users will switch out of S Mode on day one.
My only major complaint against Windows 11 otherwise is that a Microsoft account is now required to complete setup. You can convert your user account from a Microsoft one to a local one in the Control Panel, but the need to complete setup with an internet connection and Microsoft account without seeking convoluted workarounds is a major annoyance. Windows 11 Pro allows you to bypass this requirement, but this version of the OS is not commonly included in products below professional or prosumer level devices.
- Portability & Quality
Having a computer with desktop-like capabilities in a tablet form factor is likely the key selling point for the Go over the regular Surface line, and indeed, having this familiarity in a 10-inch device is phenomenal. At many points in my testing I reminisced on the “netbook” form factor of years past, as the Surface Go feels like what netbooks wanted to be.
As a tablet, the device will need to be propped up to use while it sits on a table, and Microsoft’s choice to integrate a large folding kickstand into the body is still as brilliant today as it was when the Surface line first debuted. The ultra wide kickstand is sturdy with a strong hinge, and rotates up to a 170 degree angle so you can position it virtually any way you want without the hinge moving. I found the maximum angle was great for drawing and sketching using a Surface-compatible pen, and the screen and OS’s palm rejection is very good.
The body of the Surface Go includes some metal attachment points for the magnets integrated in the Type Cover and Surface Pen, keeping these somewhat secure and ready for use. The mixed aluminum and plastic body is clean and wraps around the edges of the glass to provide some corner protection by default. I did notice right out of the box that the paint finish was poor at the corners of the screen, however, which makes me curious to see how quality control stacks up across a larger sample size.
- Screen, Sound, Connectivity
The screen on the Surface Go 3 is excellent. An IPS panel with very high brightness (though it’s non-HDR), nearly ”retina” level pixel density, and great color depth makes for a pleasant viewing experience that has no noticeable ghosting or smearing even in high-motion scenes. The panel runs at 60Hz by default but also has a 48Hz option, great for movies (24FPS) or just extending the battery life through less GPU usage. The front and rear integrated cameras are plenty serviceable, with the front-facing webcam delivering good color for video calls, while the rear blows out under lighting a bit easily but still looks good to take quick photos to share.
The device’s front-facing speakers are clear and crisp, but they don’t get particularly loud. A proper combination headphone & microphone jack picks up the slack for private listening, and of course you can pair a Bluetooth headset. Bluetooth is well-integrated here with no perceptible sound delay as I’ve experienced on some other devices.
Connectivity is pretty limited. A single USB-C port and a microSDXC slot are your only options to expand peripherals or storage, so a USB-C hub is highly recommended. The 128GB onboard SSD is somewhat small but users who use Microsoft OneDrive or similar cloud storage services won’t be terribly limited.
- Performance & Battery Life
This configuration of the Surface Go 3 uses the Pentium Gold 6500Y (2 cores, 4 threads) processor with 8GB of RAM, which delivers reasonably good performance for most tasks in its full power mode; i.e. with Battery Saver turned off. The Pentium shares nearly the same specifications as the higher-spec Core i3-10100Y model, which is an equal chip in all ways except for higher boost clock speeds (3.9GHz vs 3.4GHz). All models include Intel HD 615 integrated graphics, which do a decent enough job to run Windows 11 with some flair but don’t expect good gaming performance on anything but older or eSports-class titles at low settings.
Turning on Battery Saver limits the CPU’s speed to reduce its power draw, which results in a significant performance drop that makes Windows 11 just tolerable enough to use. Sadly, enabling Battery Saver isn’t the only thing you’ll need to do to see close to the 11 hour estimate that Microsoft touts for this device. At full power and medium screen brightness I was seeing about 4 hours of runtime under casual use (web browsing, videos) before reaching critically low levels.
Enabling Battery Saver and letting the OS manage the settings only did so much - the runtime extended to about 7 hours. To see double digit estimates I had to turn the screen down to very dim (about 25% brightness) levels, disable bluetooth and WiFi, and play back locally-stored video. While this technically let me hit the estimate, the compromises are not worth the trade-off and certainly require more effort and planning than simply toggling Battery Saver on as a casual user may expect to extend the battery life up to this oversold estimate.
Fortunately, the short battery life is countered by the ability to recharge either via the Surface charging port or through the USB-C port (with at least a 5V, 2A charger). The included power brick is the worst part of the whole package as it’s a non-modular unit that uses the proprietary Surface power connector...and as such is essentially e-waste. I would have strongly preferred to see Microsoft bundle a USB-C power delivery charger instead, as leaving the Surface power port on the device makes sense for users upgrading from prior models, but not users who are buying in for the first time and likely have other devices capable of USB-C charging. I certainly prefer carrying one power brick and a couple ubiquitous and easy-to-replace cables for all my devices in my luggage rather than proprietary ones.
- Bottom Line
The Surface Go 3 makes for a great travel or secondary PC. It works plenty well for streaming media or catching up on the web while you’re on the go, and the compromises are much less impactful when it doesn’t act as your primary PC - you could potentially make it work, but I believe you’d tire of it quickly.
The last thing to address then is the value proposition, which is a very tough sell. The $549 MSRP for this middle-tier model should be lesser, or the Type Cover should be bundled as this is a must-have accessory to make the Surface Go 3 a proper travel device. Sadly, this asking price is just not competitive against other tablets that offer more tailored mobile experiences. If you must have a Windows tablet then the Go 3 is a good choice, but better tablet experiences are available for equal or less money. Not recommended.
Oct 23, 2021 17:20Over the years I have owned dozens of desktops, laptops, 2 in 1, all in one as well as helping friends choose a computer for their needs. Out of all of these computers there is only 1 that, after using, I didn’t recommend, and it was the Google Slate I tested for BB 2 years ago (and has been discontinued since). I now have a 2nd computer to add to my do not recommend list, and it is this Surface Go 3. And I don’t recommend it for basically the same reason I didn’t recommend the Slate - I just don’t feel that you get enough for its price. Considering its entry level processor and addons which increase the “real” cost quickly – such as keyboard ($80 – 130), pen ($66) and maybe mouse ($35 on up) – all prices from Microsoft website. Also, with only 1 USB-C you might need a port multiplier and/or a USB-C to USB 3.0 connector to allow using any non-USB-C component., all at additional cost. So where is the bang for the buck?
Out of the box, this unit is more suited for streaming, light productivity and surfing – than for work or gaming – all with an eye on anything stored being mostly done in the cloud. If you must have a Windows 11 Surface tablet and not being able to upgrade/replace any component isn’t a concern, then I suggest you spring for the more costly units with more powerful I series processors, more USB connections, more/better memory, etc. giving better performance and utility.
See attachments with my performance comparisons and speed tests for this device.
This unit has the following specs;
Power button on top. Nice position so you don’t accidentally turn it on/off. Also takes a tad bit of pressure to use, which is good.
10.5-inch 1080P 60Hz LED touchscreen with pen support. I believe it’s a 3:2 aspect ratio which I found fine for watching wide screen movies. Pretty wide bezel though.
Intel Pentium 1.10 Ghz Kaby Lake 6500Y processor. doesn’t use much power and will run Windows 11 - which is about all the good I can say about it.
8GB DDR3 2400 MHz memory. DDR4 is better with DDR5 now being the best.
Microsoft U3E1 motherboard
Intel UHD Graphics 615 (1920X1080@60Hz)
KIOXIA 128GB KBG40ZPZ128G BG4A NVMe hard drive. Pretty fast too.
Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 160MHz. No hardwire option.
Bluetooth 5.0
Studio Microphone built in.
Front facing 5-megapixel 1080P camera.
Realtek HD Audio. Built in stereo speakers sound okay. Couldn’t find wattage specs. Volume control is on top as well.
1 USB-C connection
1 Surface Connect port. Used to charge and can buy additional dongle to add additional ports/functionality.
Power cord is about 6 feet long and plugs in using Connect Port. Nice that connection is magnetic in case you pick it up to take and forget it is plugged in - it will just unhook without damaging device. Also, can be plugged in up or down.
Headphone jack
Micro SD card reader
Windows 11 S – I changed to 11 home so I could use apps I wanted to install. But I get why others may see this as a positive.
Dimensions are 0.33” depth, 9.7” width, 6.9” height at just 1.2 lbs.
Positives;
It was nicely packaged and was fairly easy to setup. Plug it in, start it up and it walks you thru Windows 11 setup which took a while.
It is very nice looking with the brushed aluminum case and seems well built. Built in Kick stand is nice.
Screen is bright with vibrant colors.
Touchscreen worked well. On-screen keyboard is nice size with normal sized keyboard/functionality easily selected.
No “bloat” software to get rid of.
Boots reasonably fast – but I have most everything turned off at startup.
Apps open okay but having multiple windows open with different things running slows it down a tad.
1080P screen resolution/color is great for me with nice viewing angle, but a tad “shiny/reflective” screen.
I turned power to performance mode and got about 4 hours of use before it shut down after reaching 20% left. I was doing a lot of downloading/installing/running of apps for my performance tests and they take several minutes and a lot of processing power to run so, 4 hours was decent. I got a little over 6 hours run time playing a 1080P movie from micro-sd with Bluetooth off, power set to “recommended” and Wi-Fi and HDR on. I had external keyboard dis-connected too.
The USB port is fast – especially if you have a true USB-C SSD drive/connected device.
Having Micro-sd slot is nice to be able to easily add storage and having it underneath the kickstand helps protect it. But it is slow (see speed attachment).
Super quiet while running and size makes it very portable, even if screen size makes it a tad hard to see/read sometimes (old eyes).
1-year warranty
Negatives;
Only 128GB SSD and, as far as I could research, no way to upgrade. Windows takes up almost 40GB by itself.
Screen is pretty reflective.
No keyboard included (additional cost). Initially this didn’t seem too much of an issue. But as I continued to use it, I found that having a keyboard is a must, at least for me, to give it some semblance to a true laptop. I happened to have a USB 3.0 external keyboard as well as a USB-C to USB 3.0 conversion connector laying around so just connected it with no real additional cost to me. But I would not travel with this keyboard, and it uses up the 1 USB-C connector.
No pen included (additional cost).
Only 1 USB-C connection (duplicator additional cost).
Can add a Microsoft dongle to the Surface Connect port for more flexibility – but again additional cost.
Adding Micro-sd – additional cost.
Back got hot while charging. So much so I had to set it on table as to warm on legs.
This is not a situation where the device doesn’t work. It is nicely engineered, light weight, etc. – and what it does it does well, and it may grow on me. But with its entry level processor, limited storage, I can’t help but feel it is too pricey for what you get. And with that in mind I would not recommend as there are better options out there for the price.
Oct 23, 2021 19:42This arrived nicely boxed, everything neatly packaged. Opened, unwrapped, and charged the computer. The exterior is a flat silver color, and appears it will not attract fingerprints easily. The "kickstand" opens easily, and can adjusted for a good viewing angle. The display is glossy, and full HD at 1920 X 1280 - however there is about a 1/2 inch border around the actual display. It has a 4 core Pentium Gold processor, running 1.10Ghz, with 8Gb ram, and 128Gb SSD. Also, there is a micro SD card slot on the back under the "kickstand" for extra storage.
Now on to actual use....
This has Windows 11 preinstalled, and has a different appearance the previous Windows. I did find my way around, and was able to navigate the apps, settings, etc. Items are not in the same place or layout, but everything is still there. It also seemed that 11 was running a little quicker than previous windows.
After turning on, had to do the usual updates - which went smoothly. My next objective was to get rid of the "S" mode, as there are some apps I prefer to use, that are not of Microsoft origin. Again, all this went well - and actually, quite quickly. Next, I installed the apps I utilize, and I was surprised at the speed that this machine chugged along.
Personalizing the screen and other options was a breeze.
The display is sharp, colorful and bright - with great contrast - excellent for streaming videos, movies, etc. Touch worked well, and the virtual keyboard is also excellent.
On to surfing, email, etc. The computer loaded web pages quickly, and did not lag when opening a number of pages. So far, this has installed, loaded and run all the apps I have thrown at it to quickly, and flawlessly. Does all the usual word processing, office, basic photo editing, music, etc.
It is not a gaming machine, but it can actually run a few less demanding games.
Battery life seems to be excellent - depending on screen brightness, and apps running. I found that after almost 2 hours light use, this battery is only down to 84% - so 10 hours should be achievable.
This is a great choice for someone needing portability and still keep reasonable performance, or students, etc. One thing I would highly recommend, is the addition of the Microsoft Type Cover for this. It adds a "laptop" ability, and is easily detached for tablet portability. I am doing this review on this computer....
Oct 20, 2021 18:55This model of the Surface Go 3 is... pretty alright. Obviously, it's not for gaming; but it's decent enough when I'm using it for schoolwork or entertainment. However, it feels practically crippled if you get it without the Type Cover or a similar keyboard cover. Additionally, it just gets way too hot to be comfortable to hold.
Windows 11 does make for a good experience on the Surface Go 3. It's pretty responsive, and all the window buttons are *usually* spaced well enough for me to be able to click on what I want the first time. (One exception is text selection - but that's a pain with pretty much any touchscreen device.) I never really expect much from a Pentium processor, but the one in this device pleasantly surprised me with how quick it was. Zoom calls, YouTube, casual web browsing, and even the agony that is using Microsoft Excel with touch only - it did it all without complaint. Again, though, I'm none too pleased with how quickly the back of the tablet heated up. The one thing that was slow was getting the keyboard to open right after opening Microsoft Edge.
As far as battery goes? It's decent enough. Not spectacular, not horrible. It'll get me through about a day of usage, but I usually expect it to need charging before the next day. Battery saver mode helps a lot with this.
One thing I was somewhat impressed with was the speakers. The sound was surprisingly high quality for a tablet, and *almost* sounded like it was some form of surround sound instead of just Stereo. The bass wasn't really that great, though.
The screen is extremely crisp and clear. Even the smallest text renders smoothly, unlike on some displays I've seen where it ends up all blocky and rough. However, it seems to be very prone to glare - even when facing away from any light sources, it reflects a *lot* of the background.
Windows Hello works really nicely on this tablet. It's pretty quick at recognizing my face and unlocking the tablet immediately. However, I was less impressed with "S Mode" - the restricted version of Windows that keeps you from installing anything outside of the Microsoft Store. I actually was considering keeping this device in S Mode... until I realized just how barren the store was of anything decent. It's also far too full of random shovelware and spam like "Google Chrome Manual". Hopefully that gets better when the promised "Android app runtime" gets off the ground.
Overall, I'd say it's one of the nicest Windows tablets around. However, I'd only recommend getting this with the Surface Go Type Cover and maybe the Surface Pen as well - it really feels crippled without them.
Oct 25, 2021 06:26Great tablet for very basic tasks, but wish it had better battery life, and came with a Surface Type Cover keyboard.
Overall, this is a great tablet. It is a little hard to use Windows 11 on the screen for file management in Windows Explorer, due to the OS making everything so small. But typing via the onscreen keyboard, including swipe to type functionality is really pretty good. While I appreciate that I can use this thing as a functional computer, you are somewhat hampered from doing so without a Microsoft Surface keyboard. Adding that into the cost of this laptop, makes it a lot more expensive. Their keyboard should have come with the Surface Go 3 out of the box.
Windows 11 on this tablet ships in Windows 11 “S” mode. You are told about this during the setup process. “S” mode is essentially a somewhat limited “tablet” mode version of the Windows OS, where Microsoft is trying to limit how much you can do on lower powered CPUs. While in this mode, you cannot install any software that is not from the Microsoft Windows Store, much like iPads app store, and Android’s Google Play Store. The problem with this is, there are not many apps available other than big name streaming services and of course Microsoft made apps themselves. While you can move the tablet out of “S” mode, and info the windows 11 “home”, once you do this, you cannot go back. For my personal usage, web browsing, watching videos, and as an ebook reader, and comic book reader, this isn’t much of an issue, as there happen to be a few apps on the Windows Store that do allow me to do all of those things, and do them very well. But for some, they will have to move into the “home” mode. You cannot even install any other web browsers other than Microsoft’s Edge. Thankfully the MS Edge browser now is a great web browser. You also will be stuck with an antivirus and firewall built into Windows 11, “Windows Defender”. You cannot install anything other than this for protection without leaving “S” mode.
Now, coming from a few years of being in the iPad universe, I do have to say I LOVE this tablet. I read a lot of comic books, and the screen on this tablet is fantastic for that!!! And that is coming from someone who loved their iPad for the same usage for many years. Not only that, but I am able to actually do more with the Surace Go 3 because it is a windows 11 device. I felt a bit more locked down on iPad. I feel I can get more done on this tablet than I ever could on just my iPad. I could say I could get even more done had Microsoft included the keyboard with the tablet. The charger this tablet ships with is a proprietary surace device connector, but I am not too crazy about how much space it takes while plugging into charge, especially if you need to use it while charging. Luckily you can also charge via the USB-C port above the charging port. This also makes it easier to lug around one less charger while on the go, as I am able to use my phone charger to charge up the tablet while on the go.
If there is any one thing I wish was better on this tablet, it is the battery life. Even while just reading comic books, I drop about 12 percent an hour, and that is while in airplane mode, bluetooth shut off, and low screen brightness. Not sure if it is just that windows 11 is a more full fledged OS than iPad and android tablets, but I would get much better battery life on those in my experience so far.
Display is 1920 x 1280 pixels, just a tad taller by 40 pixels on top and 40 on bottom than a HD screen. This is actually a great resolution. I think any higher resolution and the battery life would have been even less. Speaking of which, this tablet makes me question why MS chose to not use a AMD Ryzen mobile chip, over the intel chip. The intel chip in this tablet is a middle of the line one, and if you are solely using it in Windows S mode, I think it would be fine. I had no issues with having Edge open with several tabs, and running a reading app. However, intel chips are known to drain batteries faster than the newest AMD Ryzen mobile CPUs.
Now that I have been on this tablet, I do not think I could ever go back to a non windows based tablet now that I have had time with the Surface Go 3. However, I cannot say the same if this was to be my primary computer. For it to have been my primary computer, would require the Surface Type cover, and would just make this tablet too expensive for what it is. While it does have a bezel around the sides of the screen, I actually like it, because when I use it as a tablet, I am not covering the screen display itself with my fingers while holding it. Did I mention how great this tablet is as a general “e-reader”?!! I love this thing for that alone. Watching videos is also great. Because this is Windows 11, I can access network devices across my home, including video/audio network shares directly hooked up to my router. I can get to those directly, and play movies and shows from them easily using VLC player, (thankfully this app is in the Windows Store!).
Another great feature on this tablet is the built-in kickstand on the back of the tablet. This makes using this thing on my lap so much easier, and even just lying in bed, it is easy to prop up it’s side. Audio for a tablet is very good, and much better than the two iPads I have owned over the years.
Tablet comes with the latest WiFi standard, 802.11AX aka WiFi 6, and I had no problem streaming high resolution video from a drive holding media directly connected to my router.
Good, very basic tablet, but if you add in a Surface Type Cover keyboard, and you start venturing into pricing where some may as well just get a laptop instead. Just wish MS either lowered the price some more, or thrown in their keyboard. If all you need to do are basic tasks, video, web browsing, some email, and do not think you would need that keyboard, this is a good iPad alternative. For me personally, it fits the bill right now for what I need.
Oct 30, 2021 19:02The Microsoft Surface Go 3 is a very promising Windows 11 hybrid tablet/laptop that has premium build quality. In my hands, it felt very light, very thin but also very solid. Setup was very easy and took about 30 minutes to update to the newest version of Windows 11 Home in S mode. My review will be based on my experiences using it as a tablet.
Specifications include the following:
Dual-core Intel Pentium Gold 6500Y processor
Kioxia BG4A 128 GB SSD
8 GB DDR3 memory
10.5 inch 1920 x 1280 PixelSense Display with 3:2 aspect ratio
Corning Gorilla Glass 3
1 x Surface Connect Port
1 x USB-C
1 x MicroSDXC Card Reader
3.5 mm headphone jack
5.0MP front facing Windows Hello camera with 1080 HD video
8.0MP rear facing camera with 1080 HD video
Screen quality and the built-in stereo speakers were very nice which makes this an excellent media consumption device. Amazon Prime, Disney+, Netflix, and YouTube videos all look, play, and sound great. The kickstand is absolutely brilliant as it makes it so easy to prop it up on a desk to view videos.
I felt the Intel Pentium Gold 6500Y processor along with the 8 GB of memory made tablet use very snappy. Compared to my Android and Fire HD tablets, I felt this was the best tablet I have ever used for browsing the web. Battery life seemed okay. After about 4 to 5 hours of use, I had 37% battery life left. Hardware wise, I think this is as good as any high end Android tablet.
The 3:2 aspect ratio and the bright colors also make this a great device to read digital comics from ComiXology. I have always felt that the 16:9 aspect ratio of a 1080p screen was too narrow for reading comics but having a 3:2 aspect ratio is just perfect. Although, I have to read comics using Edge as the Comixology app doesn't seem to be available in the Microsoft store.
The video and voice quality from the webcam and microphone are very nice so I think this tablet will be very good for video conferencing.
I would have loved to have had something like the Microsoft Surface Go 3 when I was in college. With its portability, it would have been really easy to take to class and the optional pen and keyboard make this a good note taking device.
One app that I found to be very intriguing was the Microsoft Whiteboard app. At work, I usually use Visio to draw up diagrams to illustrate some concept or design that I want to share with others on my team. Playing around a bit with Whiteboard, I think this could be a useful addition to my work tools.
Along with PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and OneNote, the Microsoft Surface Go 3 would be great for writing papers, preparing presentations, taking notes, and participating in video conferencing.
From an apps standpoint, Windows 11 falls short of what is available on Android. I wish there was a YouTube app but viewing YouTube videos on Edge was still a pleasant experience (just like watching YouTube videos on my desktop using a browser).
There are lots of Android apps that I use (such as the Best Buy or Amazon shopping app) that currently do not seem to exist in the Microsoft store. Until more apps are available, I don’t think the Microsoft Surface Go 3 would be a good primary tablet but it would be a good secondary tablet.
However, the Microsoft Surface Go 3 can do things that a regular tablet cannot easily do. You can freely upgrade to the full Windows 11 Home to gain access to full desktop applications. I haven’t tried it yet but I’m pretty sure this can handle light software development (such as C# or Python) with ease.
You can use the Surface Dock 2 to enable multi monitor display along with full compatibility with many USB devices such as keyboards, mice, external DVD drives, cameras etc.
So, the Microsoft Surface Go 3 is basically an ultra portable tablet that can also double as a full Windows desktop.
Windows 11 Home in S mode appeared to me to be a much better tablet OS than Windows 8. This was the first time I have experienced using Windows 11 and much of it feels very familiar.
If you already know Windows 10, you will not have a problem using Windows 11. From a user interface standpoint, Windows 11 feels like Windows 10 with a facelift and a bit more polish. For example, I liked the polish and improvements in the Settings control.
There was still some dissonance that I encountered that will probably be polished up with new updates. For example, I thought it was weird that when you display “All Apps” from the Start menu, it will show apps (such as Windows Terminal) that Windows 11 Home in S mode cannot run. If an app is not able to run in S mode, it shouldn’t appear available.
Overall, until more apps become available in the Microsoft store, I think the Microsoft Surface Go 3 is somewhat of a niche device. But it excels in this niche. It’s super portable and light so it would be great to take to class as a note taking computer. With its excellent screen and speakers, It’s a great media consumption device. With its optional accessories, it can be a decent full desktop computer capable of doing light to medium computing tasks.
I can wholeheartedly recommend the Microsoft Surface Go 3 as a companion tablet/laptop. A lot of people (such as my parents) would probably be happy with it as their primary computer. This little tablet/laptop actually feels a lot faster than the mini desktop I put together for them many years ago.
Oct 25, 2021 00:03I primarily got this to use as an tablet for entertainment with the added upside of being able to do some work on it when needed. For the most part the Surface Go 3 functions fairly well. The processor was very quick and had no lag. Windows 11 seems to be a tad more user friendly. Windows 11 did take some playing with to figure out where everything is. One thing I was not a fan of with Windows 11 was that you cannot put hardly anything in the desktop. I went through all the settings and even googled how to add programs like Word or Netflix to the desktop but nothing worked; you could only pin them to the task bar or a pop up menu. Otherwise this tablet works just like a standard laptop, however for that use a keyboard (not include).
I love the portability of this unit. I wish it functioned more like a tablet however. The cameras on this are not great at all, especially in low lighting. If I had a zoom meeting somewhere without great lighting I feel it would be difficult. It has a little led light next to both cameras, but no flash like other tablets do. Also, for an item that is meant to be great on the go and tablet like, it is difficult to charge on the go. You do not have the ability to charge this in a vehicle or from a powerbank without buying extra special power banks and car ports. The battery life is decent for a laptop. The day i recieved this I took it on a flight with me. I played movies and games on it all flight long and still had about 40% battery left when I landed (about 3 hours). For a laptop that is pretty good. I really like that you can split screen with multiple applications at once. On the plane I was playing solitaire while my daughter watched a movie on Netflix. I also really like the stand. It is super adjustable which is wonderful. I did also notice that even some of the basic games you can download from the app store only work if you have a keyboard, which was kind of a bummer.
Oct 30, 2021 21:18Stay connected and productive with this iron gray Lenovo Smart Tab tablet. The MediaTek Helio processor and 4GB of RAM run applications smoothly, while the 8MP rear camera captures crisp videos and photos. This 64GB Lenovo Smart Tab tablet boasts a 10.3-inch FHD touchscreen for sharp visuals, and the 5000 mAh battery allows lasting use.
The screen is awesome at 1900 x 1200 resolution Netflix movies are crisp. This tablet doesn't support type c to hdmi yet, but maybe in the future. It comes with android 9 installed, but I did receive an android 10 update recently.
There is facial recognition and a kid friendly mode, if you want to monitor what your children watch. You can also play emulated games like nintendo, snes, genesis, and playstation. I would definitely recommend this to my friends and family.
Jan 29, 2021 02:04Best tablet i ever owned i wish it was water resistant
Mar 13, 2021 01:11Does everything I need it too and more, also my kid loves it.
Jan 07, 2021 14:36Doesn't work with usb C hub docking station.
Tried to connect the usb c hub to the tablet and it only detects charging. So that means you can't connect a logitech unifying reciever (works on my note 10 plug n play) or an external ssd/hdd to the tablet to open files/movies.
Mar 27, 2021 17:03Lenovo™ Tab M10 Plus is one impressive media tablet from the 2nd generation tab family. Its standout metal design gives you a premium look and feel with modern simplicity. Inside lies a 10.3" FHD screen and dual speakers for truly immersive entertainment. This is one tablet you will want to use and pass around the house.
I bought this specifically to watch live sports with the Yahoo Sports app and I am pretty disappointed. The live stream is choppy and difficult to watch. The video and audio are not smooth, which defeats the purpose of watching live sports. Basic functions like email and youtube are fine, but that's not what I bought it for. Tried to mess around with the settings, deleted the app and put it back on. Did not improve. I should've returned it but I waited too long for the full refund. Maybe I find another use for it.
Oct 09, 2021 11:38I've been a user of Lenovo gear since they were OEM for IBM and I didn't know who they were. I got this for Zoom classes (my primary laptop blew its sound card, all of my secondaries are slow...) and this was cheaper than a higher-end laptop I want to get (to run CAD & FEM.)
This contines theor 25-year (so far) of supplying me with reliable, durable gear.
So, naturally, I got the same yhing for my wife do I could get mine bacl before she got into a network utility or something...
Nov 06, 2021 20:51My problem is that I can't seems to get back to what I was doing,,the go back to the what I was doing,is thought,, still ain't get it..other than that!!it's great..
Oct 30, 2021 07:15The tablet is very slow to load. There are no instructions with the purchase for those of us that are not technically knowledgeable.
Oct 22, 2021 23:28Item looks brand new. Bought it to replace my old Lenovo Tab 10. It hs more new features and run faster. So far so good.

May 11, 2021 23:29Great device! Easy setup and configuration.
Video quality great for Zoom meetings.
For the WhatsApp Video Chat, my video feed was upside down, the contacted video feed was great. Still trying to figure that out.
Other the device works great and so far working out well.
Apr 19, 2021 09:51For the most part the device performs as expected. However, it apparently has a very weak wi-fi circuit an, as a result, cannot be used in an environment that has less than a perfect signal. I have a smart tv that has a weak circuit but have used an extender to bring it to perfectly acceptable function. I have an irrigation controller that is mounted on the stucco outside the building as far away from the router as possible. It picks up the 5 Ghz signal and holds it.
The Hyundai tablet will not function with any reliability any location near those.
Would not recommend it if wi-fi is important.
I will be seeking a return.
Feb 23, 2021 12:45I would not purchase this tablet!! It is junk, I bought it from bestbuy and after a few weeks of trying to work out the kinks it started cutting off and never would connect to 5g wifi so I contacted bestbuy to return and was told it only has a 15 day return. I had to contact the manufacturer and they told me to fill a claim and I would have to pay to send it back for repairs. JUNK!!!
Jun 03, 2021 14:05i love it and its easy to set up and go just cant find a case for it
