Did not sync up with motherboard. Can not get lights to display correctly, and would flicker. MAKE SURE YOU PURCHASE A NZXT LIGHT MOD/SWITCH CONTROLLER.

I purchased an NZXT H510i case that features the integrated CAM app to control lighting, cooling, and performance. So it made sense to get fans that were specifically made for this ecosystem.

The build quality is OK. The plastic is sturdy and the fans rotate smoothly. The installation process requires a careful reading of the instructions, but anyone with a bit of experience should be able to easily install them. I appreciate that the fans can be daisy-chained, which makes cable management easier. I did notice that one of the screw holes stripped while screwing softly. Luckily, the other three holes were fine, and this happened on one fan out of three.

Once installed, the CAM software will immediately recognize them. I was extremely impressed once I saw the lights come on. The oval-circular design looks stylish and futuristic without being too excessive. The software allows for almost unlimited lighting colors and patterns.

The software also controls the fans' speed according to PC usage, which is great. At maximum speeds, these fans are very quiet. I did not notice any discrepancies in fan spin. I monitored cooling and these fans did a decent job.

Unfortunately, there are a couple of things that keep these fans from being the best. If you buy an NZXT-i series case, it's a no-brainer. However, for any other case, you must buy an NZXT lighting controller as these fans cannot be used on their own. Also, some folks do not like the CAM software, which is necessary to interact with the fans. They claim it is too intrusive and collect too much information and are uncomfortable with this. Lastly, the price is very steep in my opinion. For a 4 fan system, be prepared to spend well over $100 if you have an NZXT-i case, or more than $150 if you need the controller. You can always opt for a less expensive set that works with most motherboards directly for 1/3 the price.

In the end, I am still happy that I got these. Although pricey, It works well with my NZXT-510i case and they look gorgeous. If I didn't have this case, I would've chosen another brand.

My son wanted to replace the rear and top fans for his gaming pc with an rgb ones. We picked them up and installed it. Works nicely.

Cant wait to pair these up with my nzxt h510 elite fans in the front

Can't go wrong with these RGB fans from NZXT, they look great and so easy to install.

Make sure you get a controller to control the RGB. Does not say anything on the equipment.

This is a great fan, however, there is definitely room for improvement. It is a good looking fan, however, I prefer the Corsair LL series. The lighting for the NZXT fan is around the ring wheras the Corsair lights up near the blades. Furthermore, the daisy chaining is a pain and requires more coordination and wires to get everything to work. Overall, I think it is a good buy for an NZXT case/build. I would recommend this to a friend as a top, secondary product.

Have to buy to much extra crap to make their fans work and then when you've spent way to much on one fan the RGB doesn't work properly.

This fan is awesome, works well and looks good. Just wish the exhaust fan had 6 LEDs not four on its side.

Beautiful, effective, and they actually have good software.

These are like eye candy RGB. LEDS on front and back.

Other than that / many has reviewed that the airflow isn't as efficient as the ML and the LL predecessor.

The charge a premium for RGB. If thats your thing, maybe this is for you. Its also good that it comes in the large 140mm size though.

This fan is quality and has hydraulic bearings for very long life.

The best fans I have added to my PC! They sync with my rog motherboard and add controlled fans to my pc. Would recommend.
