We had a 1080p TV for quite some time and was only going to upgrade to UHD1080, as doubtful we thought we’d see a difference picture quality in going higher… Couldn't be more wrong, the difference in all TV shows is like being IN the movie, it’s almost mesmerizing! The kids like Trolls and Finding Nemo, it’s like watching it from new again as the clarity, depth and precision picturing is mind blowing! The difference between QLED, OLED and ULED I don’t know, but the difference between our new QLED and the UHD is staggering! Well worth the extra!

This tv gives my front room LIFE! Initially I didn’t want to buy such a big tv for such a small space but if your riding the fence whether to buy for small room or choose smaller, don’t. I feel like I am at the theater and it sits perfect when viewing sitting on couches. Samsung really made a beauty here. I opted to purchase entertainment stand vs. wall mounting. And this option looks nice. May end up mounting one day. I haven’t gone thru the entire A-Z of tv yet but planning soon. I’ve added Netflix and Hulu accounts. And it was a breeze. The remote isn’t to favorable but it will do. Never seen a tv remote with no numbers. But nowadays we have Siri and google play to tell the tv what channel.

Gorgeous picture! Easy to use the streaming features. You can add apps pretty easily too. I haven’t tried the voice activation features using Google home so I can’t speak for that feature. The picture I took doesn’t really do justice to the colors and crispness in the tv.

Tv is awesome! Easy install, easy connection with the Samsung sound bar and great sales guy at best buy. This is my 4th major purchase at Best Buy for electronics and I won’t shop anywhere else.

We are loving our 65” flat screen TV. And the geek squad installer did an excellent job.

I bought this TV on September 19, 2021 and the picture was the most crystal clear picture I've ever seen. I LOVED it. Movies, TV shows, and video games looked fantastic. The interactive menu was a bit sluggish as but still worked fairly well. Then all of a sudden, we had a blooming/bleeding/clouding issue that remains on the screen no matter what was showing. This showed up in the upper left corner of the screen. It remained to the point that we wanted a replacement, so we replaced on September 29, 2021.

This TV set had the exact same issue, which makes me believe it's an issue with the way this Samsung TV model is made. Blooming or clouding in the with the same placement but taking over a larger portion of the screen on the right side instead of the left (pics attached). I loved the TV so much and it was the most clear picture I could imagine. Refresh rate was top notch. It was like a window instead of a TV screen. However, the constant blooming was too much to bear and was terrible while watching dark scenes at night.

I used a receiver for surround sound so I did not use the speakers on the TV.

I played around with the picture settings many times and checked out the firmware update. There was nothing that could have fixed the issue.

I've had $300 tvs for years that have had no issues but two straight flagship Samsung's costing over $1,000 gave me the issue.

It was disappointing and unacceptable. I replaced with a Sony which has its own myriad of issues. The quality of TVs in this day don't seem to match the quality of yesteryear.

Tonight was the first night we used this q7 at night!! It was sooooo bad I ended up going to my 2 year 7 series Samsung in bedroom because the white clouding ( blooming) was so bad on the q7 screen!!! I understand that this tv is not the best for dark scenes but this is bad!!! c-mon Samsung where is ur quality control , hopefully I just got a lemon let’s try this again !! Ok bestbuy I’ll be seeing this week !!

This TV has all the features that I was looking for and then some. From smart technology to deep rich color and an advanced remote everything comes together seamlessly. The set up was easy and flawless in the integration of smart home apps was also relatively straightforward. I would definitely recommend this to my friends and family as the display itself is very thin and beautiful on the wall without being turned on, But while being turned on the 4K content is absolutely stunning and I can only compare to other high-end gaming displays. The refresh rate and the clarity was overall surprising to say the least and does not leave you wanting more, leaves you feeling full and revitalized. This is my favorite TV I've ever owned I could see any size working out well for any scenario it's easily mounted on the wall and the foot stands work well too. The remote itself is amazing, sleek and futuristic, It has solar charging and a minimalist design which I love. The Netflix button is PERFECT, although i do miss my youtube button for my last TV. The built in speakers are surprisingly decent for how thin the tv is. Overall I would have paid retail and been happy with this TV. All the settings and display changes make personalization amazing.

I was so excited getting this Samsung 65" Class Q70A TV delivered to my home. On the same day of delivery, when I turned on the TV, there are multiple black and white vertical lines displaying on my TV!!! My heart skipped a beat. I turned the TV off and then back on several times and those lines are still there. How horrifying!! How disappointing and will be retuning it back to the store. Good thing I kept the original package!!

Bought this tv to replace a Samsung 8000 from 2015 . It’s a very notable difference in picture. Got a very good deal and received a 300 gift card witch I used to upgrade my soundbar system. Picture is stunning and the AI even makes old shows like cops and movies look good. So I’d recommend you just let the AI do it’s thing . It’s takes a bit to learn . The Tizen app system is fast and easy to use . Even if you don’t have cable or no app services you get about 100 channels from Samsung tv with 2 4K channels . It automatically goes into game mode and picks up whatever game system you have and runs the best settings. Only thing it lacks is Doby vision but all Samsung’s do and the picture is still stunning.

I am enjoying my new purchase, and it’s definitely a step up for my 2010 Panasonic. When I first turned on the TV and got a splash screen, the colors were beautiful and vibrant, and I’ve not been able to see those colors in action as of yet, and this is the only reason I’ve downgraded to a four-star instead of five.

Easy to use, abundant apps & high quality picture.

I bought this TV to replace another 4 year old Samsung 8 series LED TV. The “smart hub” on the older TV would not update to get newer apps and sub services we wanted to stream. Kinda glad I updated. These Q series TV’s have an incredible picture quality. My wife recognized the difference immediately when she could notice the facial details of the hosts of the Today Show. Yes fellas, the wife notice the picture quality, it’s that good. This is not the “top model” but you would never know from the picture quality, thin frame, and sound of this Q70. The remote has a thin solar panel on the back that acts like a battery. That’s right, the remote does not need batteries and you don’t have to point it at the TV. Easy set up. I would recommend.

If I were being truly honest... I would have paid double for this TV! Everything about it has impressed so far. 1st, I didn't think TV's could get much thinner, yet here is Samsung with this 1/2 inch surprise. Even as thin as it is, it still feels sturdy when handling. Combined with the thin outside frame, the TV looks stylish even when turned off. The "smart" remote really lives up to the name. Long gone are the days of entering codes to program and even having to switch batteries. The minimalist solar powered and USB rechargeable remote literally connects to other devices by simply turning them on. But we ultimately buy a TV for the picture, right? Samsung delivers with the clearest and a fastest picture I have ever seen. Fast moving sports and video games have flawless framerates. Movies are clear and detailed beyond believe. All of the preloaded picture adjustments are fantastic. I still cant decide which is my favorite. The preloaded and downloadable apps are really convenient. Getting to your streaming apps is as simple as changing the input source. I have even been impressed by the integrated speakers. Usually these flat TV's don't put out much sound, but this one has been loud enough to fill our oversized living room no problem. I'm glad I no longer have to turn on the surround sound just to watch a sitcom or the news. I highly recommend this TV. Great value!

Love it! I bought my first Samsung curved tv in 2016. It was a 65" Quantum Dot. Loved it too. We moved to Florida and the guest room was large do we decided to put another large 65" curved into that room. However, we didn't think we needed another Quantum dot for just occasional guest use do I started researching and found this model. I have to be honest, there is only very subtle differences between this model and our quantum dot. It is a fantastic tv. Beautiful picture. Sound isn't the greatest so we added a Samsung sound bar and presto, beautiful system. For $1600 we got the 65"Curved tv, a Samsung sound bar and all the cords and hookups in an install install kit that the Geek Squad put in perfectly! Highly recommend all these products and services. That's twice Best Buy and Samsung have come through with a great system. We will buy from and use them again

I love anything Samsung and thus I love this TV. I am bias so my opinion shouldn't count :) but yeah! Samsung RULES!!

I am still learning to know all the capabilities of this TV but it does not stop surprising me every day with the qualities it has.

If you're here, you are likely here because you want an excellent gaming TV and don't want to pay OLED prices (or a related reason). If that's the case, you are in the right place. I don't typically do long winded reviews, but this set warrants it. So lets get into it.

First up, is the tech. This is a "mini LED" TV. What is that? simple answer - the LED's used for the backlight / illuminating pixels are MUCH smaller than conventional LED's used to backlight tv's. Why is this important? - This is important for a number of reasons, the most important of which is that there is a much larger number of these LED's being used for the backlight. (more on that in a minute) Given that they are much smaller, that means the overall depth of the chassis is considerably thinner than any of the other flagship QLED tv's. If you're into the whole "ultra thin" thing, put a check in the box.

Why else is this important? - Traditional LED's take up more space. More space means less LED's doing more work with backlighting the pixels. It also means less accuracy in lighting the pixels (since they are bigger and further from the LCD). This is a contributing factor to "blooming".

Anything else? Yes. Mini LED's allow for a greater number of zones for dimming. What's a dimming zone? - basically a dimming zone is a group of LED's being used for the backlight that can be "dimmed" independently and automatically during normal use to enhance contrast and black depth.

The QN90A (65 inch model) gets 792 dimming zones... That is amazing. That is also a major contributing factor to the picture quality (which is also amazing). NOTE**** the 55 inch model does NOT have nearly as many dimming zones and IMO is an inferior model. The reason THAT is important is because if you are shopping for this TV, this is almost certainly not going to be the last review you read. That being the case, be sure to check which size the reviewer of your choice is reviewing. EVERYONE i've seen review the 55 inch version of this panel is claiming that blooming and light bleeding are issues. EVERYONE reviewing the 65 inch version of this panel are basically praising it.

Why is it good for gaming? HDMI 2.1, 120hz 4k, VRR. ALLM (auto low latency mode) I did not check to see if the HDMI 2.1 is a full bandwidth port or not (i.e. whether it's pushing 40gbps or the full 48gbps), but it's mostly a moot point since the newest gaming consoles don't support the full 2.1 bandwidth either. My comparison television is a 65" Q9F from about 3 years ago. That television was excellent. This blows it out of the water in nearly every way. Input lag is low. game mode is virtually judder free. Game mode is automatic (that may seem like a nit picky thing but try having to manually put your TV in and out of Game mode for ~ 5 years then tell me how much you appreciate this feature) in terms of gaming performance, it's literally night and day.

Picture quality - in short, it's insane. Best color reproduction i've seen in any TV that isn't an OLED. Best black levels i've seen in any TV that isn't an OLED (in some regards it performs almost as well as OLED. why do i say almost - because OLED has TRUE black since the pixels literally turn off) That said i challenge anyone to observe the black levels of a properly tuned version of this television and not praise it.

Color reproduction - Out of the box, the picture was over saturated. Reds washed out but Greens and blues were pretty ok. After tuning the TV properly i am pleased to say that color is amazing. For comparison, my Q9F is one of the brightest most colorful TV's i've ever used. this blows it out of the water. NOTE - my Q9F was almost $1000 more just a few years ago in the same size.

Motion - Samsung has come a long way with their motion smoothing tech. so much so that leaving it on auto (for non gaming applications) is actually perfectly fine. picture is buttery smooth.

Blooming - i have not noticed any blooming yet, and trust me i've been looking. Will this change in the future? don't know. i've had it about 5 days and put it through it's paces. But as it sits, i am utterly amazed at the black levels this TV produces and have yet to see any blooming or light bleed. I'm sure there is some but this is best in class.

Brightness - Wow... This TV hits 2000 nits of brightness with the brightest HDR content. For reference, that is enough brightness to make you physically squint at the screen. That is also considerably higher than most TV's out there at current. Why is that important - HDR is based on brightness. So all those fancy ray gun glows and particle effects in movies and games benefit solely from the brightness of the set. (obviously color reproduction plays a part here too but brightness is the biggest factor)

Conclusion - i could go on for a while about the set. but bottom line is if you want a phenomenal gaming tv, take a looooong hard look at this (in the 65 inch don't bother with the 55). I have zero regrets. It's worth noting that i was coming from a very good gaming tv (the Q9F) to this. So if you don't already have a gaming TV, you will likely be blown away by it. hats off samsung, definitely pleased with my purchase.

Outstanding image quality. Black levels are wonderful without sacrificing brightness or paying a ton of extra money for an oled. I only notice light halos in worse case scnerios in game mode. Basically when there is a solid black screen with a bright loading bar or animation.

I went with the QN90 specifically because the room it is in is extremely bright during the day. I have no glare even when the sun is beaming down on my TV.

Let me just say the picture quality will blow your mind, I originally purchased a Hisense U8G 65" and was very displeased, it had several Screen issues with banding, sceen uniformity, Ghosting, and motion artifacts, you can find more info in my Hisense U8G review. So I decided to exchange it and fork over an extra $800.00, let me tell you it may seem like a lot to spend on a TV, but when I pulled this thing out of the box and hooked it up, I was absolutley stunned by how perfect the picture was for a QLED Panel, its as close to OLED as your going to get with out screen burnin, the brightness and black levels were superb, motion handling more than surpassed my expectations espeacially in game mode when playing Red Dead 2, color gamut is outstanding once I adjusted some settings, the native setting is some what inaccurate but once I changed it to auto it looked so much better. There were some things I didn't like so much, the stand was some what a pain to install and was a little wobbly, this thing is also somewhat heavy so keep that in mind, remote was really innovative using a rechargable solar panel which I thought was cool, Overall I still give this Tv a 4.5 out of 5, just becuase the price is still a bit high, but what you get is a fantastic picture that no other company can hold a candle to.

This Tv delivers what it advertises. It took longer to mount the Tv to the stand than it did to program it. It’s perfect. Still working on figuring out the ambient mode is the only glitch. Love the no battery remote.

My personal ‘high water mark’ for TVs has been our daily driver OLED TV from 2-3 years ago, and an older Plasma from around 2012 I’ve been using in my home office as a third PC monitor and to game on. My love of sports and video games has never meshed well with LCD TVs in the past. But this TV may have changed that.

To start with, it looks great and stylish. It’s thin—almost as thin as our OLED—and has slim bezels. I am mid refresh in my office currently and haven’t been able to mount the TV yet, so I’m using it with the stand which looks nice as well—it’s also heavy and sturdy. As for the picture, some of the reasons I’d preferred OLED and Plasma TVs was black levels and blooming. This TV does both very well thanks in part to the mini LEDs with dimming zones which lead to great black depth and excellent contrast. Out of the box the picture was oversaturated a bit, but after calibration the picture is fantastic. It honestly has the best color reproduction and black levels I’ve ever had on any non-OLED TV. Brightness is…wow. HDR content pops and jumps off the screen.

Gaming. One of the biggest reasons I went with this TV was for gaming. It has Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) and port 4 is HDMI 2.1 allowing for 120hz/4K gaming—when gaming consoles take full advantage of it. One gripe, it would be nice if had more than just the one HDMI 2.1 port for those with multiple gaming consoles. It recognized both my PS5 and XSX automatically, added them to the input and enabled Game Mode automatically when that input is selected—such a nice feature when you’re used to manually doing so with previous TVs. Input lag is low to nonexistent. Gaming is smooth and judder-free. This TV is providing me a gaming experience that I’ve never had before, it’s incredible and a game changer.

Other more minor things I’ve come to appreciate included being SmartThings ready. I was able to connect it to my smart home set up via the app and did all the initial setup via the SmartThings app, including registering the TV. I can also use the SmartThings remote to control the TV, and my SmartThings scenes are available on the TV and can be initiated via the TV remote. It also lets you choose which voice assistant you want to use; I went with Google Assistant as it’s what I use for my smart home setup. There’s even a mic button for the assistant on the remote. Speaking of the remote, it’s very nice. It’s small, solar rechargeable and doesn’t have a ton of buttons on it but has everything I’ve needed.

My only frustration thus far came with the initial setup. It ended up being an issue with my home network and not the TV at all, but I’ll share it here for any others who run into it. When attempting to accept the T&Cs it would always time out and say the server was under maintenance. It did this with ALL network related setup, including the apps. I tried lots of stuff I read on Samsung’s support forums and even reach out to Samsung support and nothing worked. In the end, it was my home network’s ad-blocker. I had to whitelist several domains the TV was attempting to connect to. Everything is working great after discovering this and whitelisting those domains.

Great 4K TV! The picture is wonderful and it has excellent features.

I thought this tv would look great in a bright room but it doesnt if there is any light on or if ur curtains have any light that comes through you will see a rainbow effect. I have an oled in same room and it look so much better with lights on the samsung tech said it was normal watch it in a dark room. The only good thing about this tv is it work great with the samsung soundbar.

This TV replaced our 2016 Samsung (top model at that time), and let me tell you…the picture is outstanding. Paired with a compatible Samsung soundbar provides outstanding sound quality.

Depth of colors are outstanding. No blur while watching football. You can see grass blades! Dynamic color contrast. I prefer the QLED over the OLED because there is less of a chance for burnout.

If you like to customize your picture, it is loaded with options to do that. We had difficulty hooking up our antenna but is likely our issue and not the TV.

We had Best Buy mount the TV on our wall. It really makes this TV stand out. With a Total Tech Support membership, you get two years of Best Buy coverage for free. We are protected in the event something where to happen, which is a nice peace of mind to have.

If you want a TV with great features, clarity and outstanding contrast without breaking our budget, this is it. We always buy Samsung TVs because their picture quality is second to none.

I am really in love with this tv the picture and clarity is magnificent. I paired it with the Samsung HWQ 950a sound bar . The sound without a sound bar is still worthy the purchase of the tv. I am enjoying it so far. It works real well while watching football and all sporting events. I will say if you purchase you want be disappointed.

My husband and I absolutely love this TV. The HDR is amazing and the range and depth of the blacks is excellent. The TV software allows us to quickly switch from watching Netflix, to watching something on cable, to playing video games. One of my favorite features is the art mode as it allows to fit better in the room when not in use rather than having a giant black rectangle on the wall.

I’m a Samsung nerd and used to be a Samsung tv sales rep. I bought this to replace my Q80r, which I love. The picture looks really good, way better than my Q80r. But the blacks are slightly off at some angles and the anti glare is almost non existent when compared to prior years models. You can tell it’s there when you shine a light at it, you see the slight rainbow effect but it’s not at all the past years anti glare. The local dimming is also very good and far superior than prior years as well. But it’s just a huge let down. I would not be as upset if they stated it didn’t have any anti glare, but that’s one of their selling points they are pushing. I would recommend the tv, but I would tell people the anti glare is not a selling point for this model, maybe the Q90a, but I don’t know if the anti glare is better for that model.

My wife and I absolutely love the 65"Q85AA Samsung Neo QLED 4k Smart TV. I primarily utilize it for gaming, and there is no noticeable input lag and the picture quality and HDR looks amazing. My wife primarily uses it to stream shows and the 4k is stunning. The black/dark colors have great depth and the color really pops. Our favorite feature is the Samsung built in software. It works great to quickly switch between apps and the navigation is intuitive. I'd highly recommend this TV if you are looking for an excellent TV that will work in a variety of situations.

No reflection, color is clear but sometimes the sound fade away may be due to some misadjustment.

This tv just blew me away with the colors, the wide angle views, the sheer crispness of the picture quality just melted my face! Ok thats all I have to stay, oh and it looks sleek and elegantly simple, my 65 inch definitely looks good in the living room and its a perfect match made in heaven with my Xbox SeriesX

Best TV ever! Go with this one without a doubt! Amazing picture quality, the remote control is very chic, love the brightness. Highly impressed with new features that are innovative and convenient for gaming. Such as multi-view and the auto-detect GameMode. The sound quality is perfect and I don't need to get a soundbar. The audio is smart and it is automatically adjusted based on the scene. You can easily AirPlay your phone on TV, or watch any of the TV apps of your interest. Another feature that also made me really happy is that this large TV has a centered stand, which lets you fit it on any TV stand. I highly recommended it to all my family friends.

Very happy with this tv. Easy setup instructions. I enjoy the ambient mode and personalized screens. I downloaded the smarthings app which is free to download to be able to put pictures from my phone onto the tv. It displays up to 50 pictures on the tv. I uploaded them from phone and it displayed them one at a time changing the picture about every 20 seconds(The picture below is of my husband and son roasting marshmallows over the fire is one of the personalized pictures I sent to the tv). While in the smartThings app you have to sign up or sign in with your samsung login. Then it finds your tv easily through your wifi connection. From there every time you open the app your tv will be displayed then you just click on your tv. From there it app allows you to use it as a remote, to change from artwork or personal pictures in ambient mode, switch between apps, and universal guide showing you tv and movie recommendations. Watching the latest movies on this is beautiful. This is the 4k120hz screen I have been waiting for. Zero connection or display errors which you will find on other brands. The simple console connection design makes input connections easy. I love that the remote is solar charged so no batteries! The hub box works awesome to keep all the wires that you hook up to the tv out of the way so it doesn't look so messy. I also went under my iphone settings and bluetooth and found the tv. I clicked on it and connected it to my tv which was listed. This allowed me to play music from my phone right on the tv easily! It plays a background display while music plays or you can make the music box smaller at the top screen while you do other stuff on the tv as well. I also like you can add apps and rearrange them according to how you use them. We use our tv for gaming, streaming from phone, watching movies/tv, etc. Everything looks so good on it!

The new Samsung QN800A is a masterpiece of technology and really brings the concept of a TV to a whole new level.

Starting with the design, this tv is slender with only a 0.7" width it is the first truly flat tv monitor I've ever seen. There is barely a bezel and what bezel is there is where the sound terminated from. It is such a simple yet elegant design that will look amazing in any room. Samsung has outdone itself with the design. The TV is able to be so thin and flat because the components, hookups, and power are all external in the One Connect which attaches with a single very thin wire. It's an engineering marvel and quite an accomplishment to send all the signals and power through a wire that is not even a 1/4" in circumference! This feature alone makes the TV worth purchasing as it allows the Samsung QN800A to hang on a wall and all your devices can be in a cabinet with just a single wire to the TV. This is perfect for those of us that want to keep everything neat and hide away all the clutter and mess of wires.

Once you turn on the TV you will notice the picture quality and brightness, everything is sharp and vibrant and what you would expect from 8K. I didn't have any 8K content to test but it seems to upscale the content very well and 4K content looks mesmerizing.

The TV remote is small and simple to use with an interface that is intuitive and works well. I really liked the Samsung TV Plus which provides a bunch of live TV channels and is the answer for the cord-cutters out there. The content is great and I feel like it's a perfect replacement to cable or satellite programming and the future. It even comes with a Guide so you can pick and choose what you want to watch easily. The Multiview feature is really interesting, you can watch multiple programs at a time and switch which audio you listen to while watching multiple shows. It will make Football season even better.

With the Smart Things integration, all my other Samsung devices like the Powerbot vacuum and washer and dryer show up and are available, it is the hub for a truly smart home! Samsung has done an amazing job and at the top of their game. This is the best TV I've ever experienced and the features technology, and style just can't be beaten.

Randy and I purchased this TV, some time ago. We have been so impressed with the preformance of it. Not only the picture quality, but the over sound, clarity, color, and simplicity of operation. We were so impressed with the knowledge of the sales associate Johnny Lopez, System Designer, Best Buy Tulsa. He was so knowledgeable, about any of the TV's Randy look at, and was able to answer any question, we had. Such a great associate and informed person, no only making you feel comfortable, but erases any issues, we had with the purchase of this TV. We have had the TV for almost a month now. . .it is awesome. . .seems to get better each and every day, if that is possible. We have been enjoying our many College and NFL Football Games. . .and the overall pictures, is one of almost being in the game itself.

We also want to share, that Mr Lopez, told us that an independent party, not from Best Buy would deliver the TV. Thinking he meant. . .a company we were astonished to see a young man with a truck. . .BY Himself, deliver the TV, carry it in by himself, and set it up. He was so kind and thoughtful, making sure we knew about the TV, and what he was doing. He told us he had never put this type of TV together, but that did not stop him for a minute, he. . .read over the instructions, and started to put the stand together, then proceeded to place it carefully on the stand and go to setting it up. Step by Step, he explained and answered any questions, we had. . .and told us what he was doing and why. We were so impressed with him. . .I want to say, I remember his name but I don't but you should have records on who delivered it, that was not a Best Buy Associate.. . .He told us his name and I have since forgotten, cause I already wrote a review right after we go the tv. The visuals on this TV are INSANE! Bought specifically for next-gen gaming and 120fps is like butter. Darks are midnight, and the brights are sun rays, audio is average but nothing a soundbar can’t revive. Tv build itself is sleek and modern and setup is as simple as a few click on your cell. thought gaming would be the highlight of this tech, I took some time to watch high quality shows like Loki, See, and Dune and the tv simply put on a talent show. 100% recommend!

Best picture I've seen! 2 years ago i bought the QLED 55" 4K, I like them both! But i definitely noticed a lot more colors in The 8k I'd recommend it to anyone, I'm currently not a gamer, i use too but now I'm thinking about getting back into it!

This TV is so much better than the "Frame" tv that Samsung sells. If wall mounting, the One Connect Box can mount behind the TV apparently for a much cleaner look. Installed it above the firewall with a Smart Tilt-type mount.

I did a lot of research before buying, and it paid off.

My watching use cases are movies, sports, and YouTube, and often in a room that is well lit, but never blacked out.

As such I wanted 4K QLED (instead of OLED, which is known to be excellent in black out conditions), with decent motion handling, good brightness (to account for ambient light in the room), and as minimal glare as possible.

This tv has overachieved vs the expectations I had before buying in each of these departments. In particular, viewing angles are wider than I expected them to be.

Definitely add a sound bar if you care about listening to what your watching.

This tv is so sick!! I was going to shell out the $4,000 for the same thing but the 8k and read some reviews before purchasing that were claiming this tv was just as good if not better than the 8k version. Obviously I was a little skeptical but I got this one on sale for $1,800 Black Friday (less than half price of 8k) so I jumped in it and it was WELL WORTH IT!! The quality is incredible!

I have been using Samsung 8 Series in my Living and Media rooms and but I wanted to try out the Qled for my bedroom so I have finally made up my mind keeping in mind the price difference to see how different It would be and I must say It is different TRUST ME on this. I have been doing research for almost 3 months, reading all the reviews and all but in the end its worth it. I know its pricey and all but its a one time bitter sip and after that you will enjoy watching TV.

So I'm happy that I bought this, I was really looking for a TV that was suitable for me, that is a good gaming TV with a great image (without burning). the transfer to the QLED 8T series was magical. And this is the first time that I have a television that does not require a third party platform to transmit television. It's much easier, it saves energy (hence $) by running a device, and the streaming performance is 10 times better (fewer interruptions or errors I got from apps like funimation on PS4). Samsung’s Q80T with the quantum dot technology and it’s 4K processor does deliver excellent out of the world experience. The first thing we did when we got this TV was to connect to our son’s Xbox console. We were quite impressed as the clarity was outstanding and the halo and blur that we were experiencing on our old unit was no longer present. One of the primary reasons we got this model is because of its Real Game Enhancer+ option and we are completely satisfied with Samsung’s promise. Packaging: The QLED TV came nicely packaged. To avoid having your prints on the new TV, Samsung has a special film with foam on the edges. So, when you pick up the TV to place it on a stand your will not have your prints on the TV. This is amazing and wish other manufactures would include in their packaging. Setup: The floating plate is very slick and strong. It holds the QLED perfectly. The instructions to attach the stand provided in the box are simple to follow. Once the QLED is turned on the interface to set is up is also quite easy. You simply turn on the unit and follow the steps. To activate their Voice assistant, you must have a Samsung account. I prefer Samsung’s AI over the other brands (responds very well to my voice). The remote is quite small so you must be a little careful where you store it. Experience: As mentioned earlier – out of the world when it comes to gaming experience. For the past few days we have also been watching various shows and movies due to stay at home order. If you want a TV with better viewing angles then this is the model for you. I personally did not notice any image degradation when viewing from different angles. This Samsung Q80T TV does provide very good picture – deeper and more uniform blacks when we watching Gravity. Felt like we were in the scene with the actors. Very smooth motion with low input lag. Amazing feeling. The contrast on the QLED is quite impressive. Everything pops brilliantly bright where it needs to be. the sound coming out this TV is quite astonishing. This QLED built in 2.2.2 speaker system with output of 60 watts of power. The only minor issue I discovered is searching for the apps. After downloading the apps you will have to add them to the bar. They do not automatically populate. Other than that they have several apps besides the most common ones. Overall excellent QLED by Samsung for gamers and for watching movies and shows. I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest feedback.

I have been using this TV for about 3 weeks and It has exceeded my expectations

Incredibly vivid colors and a pretty decent sound but a good soundbar with woofer and satellite speakers completent the great cinematic experience. Smarter hub and redesigned slim remote are a definite plus. Another huge plus: new streaming apps like HBOMAX and DISNEY PLUS are just a few clicks away eliminating the need for a streaming media device saving you a couple of hundred dollars (Nvidia Shield is the only one who offers both platforms. Other TV brands do not have this advantage! Most importantly for us: we didn't want to hang our TV on our rare stone work above our fireplace and most models have at least a 12 inch footprint. Too big. This TV'S awesome stand in the center protrudes out the back at a low 35 degree angle profile making it possible to push the TV stand couple of inches in the console compartment above the mantle giving us a footprint width of about 11 inches. This allowed us to securely place our TV on the mantle and save our stone from possible install damage and TV position permanency. Overall great TV with a good, slim, clean rear surface. One thing Samsung has not tackled yet though is glare. Your living room lights reflect as prismatic linear lines on the screen and the only ones we found not affecting glare are the spot lights above the fireplace. After a while though we kind of block them out and Edison vintage brown glass light bulbs cut down some of the glare.

I can SEE Again! This 65" Samsung replaced our 32" in our Living room. Our old Entertainment center had doors that could only accommodate a 32" TV. In the pic you can see one of the doors as I had to chop up the old entertainment center and reattach the top so the 65" would fit. I HIGHLY recommend getting a swivel stand for this TV. It really helps as the tiny feet that come with this model are fairly useless... We do have a 55" Samsung that is 7 years old in the Master bedroom. The older, 55" Samsung's picture is MUCH sharper/colorful than this new, 65" SAMSUNG. We paid for the GEEK SQUAD delivery, set-up and tune-up for our new TV so that is not the cause of the less sharp picture. Regardless, I can actually now READ/SEE the TV Cable guide, the score of games and where the football actually went so it's a HUGE improvement for our household;) I think my housemate, James is VERY happy that I can now read the score and see the guide. It's ot bad for a SAMSUNG budget TV. I may pay for better TV technology in the future but for now, this TV has been quite fun, even though not as clear/sharp as our older SAMSUNG. The remote is curved, comfortable, responsive and practical. Due to the increased TV size (almost home theater like) I realized I have been missing SO MANY smaller details in film and T.V. Now that I can see again, we purchased DISNEY, HBO-MAX, NETFLIX, etc. We LOVE our new, 65" SAMSUNG!!! Get a BIGGER TV, especially if you are older with failing sight and you won't be disappointed!!

Great TV! This purchase hit a sweet spot at Best Buy. I researched various 4K TV’s and this Samsung was what I was looking for with great spec’s! I also was very pleased with our previous Samsung TV. Best Buy also offered a package deal with a Samsung sound bar. The other factor was the $100 give card Best Buy offered! Loving our new system!

I’ll be completely honest this tv is good but not great. Probably can find a better one for cheaper. The colors are great but the corners sometimes aren’t completely black. Watching when it’s bright in a room it’s hard to see as well. Constantly changing the color settings. The almost see less edges are really nice and the quality too

LOVE the TV...BUUUT, the Samsung streaming system and app is TERRIBLE and overly complicated. So, ended up having to buy a Google Smartcast ($40 or so) device to plug into it...them everything worked fine (thanks to the knowledgeable associate that turned me on to that little device). I would've returned the TV otherwise... now I'm happy.

I bought this tv May 12, 2020. I don’t know why it’s saying August. But I’ve had this tv for over a year now and it still works great with no issues. Definitely was a great buy and I got it on sale! The hisense in my room is starting to act up so I will be getting another one of these to replace it.

purchased it on a whim and loved it ever since! quality of the tv is good and sturdy. same goes for the video quality if you have a good enough internet connection. it is preferable to use a ethernet cable to have a much better connection but wifi can work the same if not to far from the modem. multiple apps support the samsung TV and a vast variety are free. it of course has access to Netflix and Hulu along with Disney+. overall it is an amazing TV

This TV is amazing. I recently replaced my guest room tv with a 43’ 7000 version of this tv, and vowed to replace every tv in the house with a samsung tv. The TV is super smart, and many of the other accessories that you needed before, you no longer need. My Bose surround system hooked up via Bluetooth. My phone, and I-phone streams directly to the tv using airplay (no need for Apple TV). This tv is really something special, and its one of their lower end TVs.

When watching, you almost feel like you're in the room with them. Setting the wallpaper up with a picture of the wall before hanging the TV is almost scarey. It makes the TV disappear, almost. It's never been so easy to cast your phone or computer to it. The only thing disappointing was from sales. Wish he had thought to mention that my old bracket was too small to hold it and up sell me extenders. Oh and the screws are bigger as well. Another up sell he missed. Unfortunately, going to Walmart for those.

We purchased this Samsung Q90 as an open box but we didn’t mind that.

This tv is replacing a 5 year old Samsung led and let me tell you, it’s definitely the best tv we could ever buy, we were worried about the reflection due to big windows all around it, and this tv is amazing, you can see the picture perfectly even when the room is bright.

It’s also preloaded with all the bells and whistles, we had to purchase an Apple TV for our old tv, but now we don’t need it anymore because it comes with all the apps that you can imagine, the sound is also very good for this slim tv, we have been enjoying it very much and we’re very happy that we decided to buy this Samsung Q90.

I had high expectations for this TV as is the 4k flagship and costs a lot of money. My choices came down to the LG CX vs. the q90t. I compared them in store and the qled just popped in the way the CX did NOT. I also did not want to have to worry about burn in as I have experienced it before on a plasma after a few years of usage.

Pros:

- truly breathtaking HD/4K content in HDR that pops like no other 4k TV on the market, even oled.

- super fast interface that's fairly simple

- TV is able to get blindingly bright

- uniformity of panel is great

- thin bezel and beautiful center stand make the TV look like art

Cons:

-doesn't do a good job handling motion. the picture Clarity settings are necessary to smooth out the video depending on what content you're watching and they can create the soap opera effect but luckily you can customize them to your liking. My seven-year-old plasma was better in this regard.

- this TV is way too expensive

- only one HDMI 2.1 Channel

- some minor horizontal banding can be seen during fast panning on light colored backgrounds

- some blooming of on black backgrounds. It's not that bad and is expected as this is not a plasma or OLED but it's still there.

- game mode makes video games look like garbage I don't use it unfortunately. Degrades quality too much but luckily games look great without it.

- menu app positions like the settings app should be customizable. Navigating settings can become cumbersome because you have to scroll all the way to the left.

-All the privacy documents / policies the tv tries to force you to agree to are scary. I shouldn't have to worry about my tv spying on me or selling my data.

Pro tip:

- the judder setting in the picture Clarity menu is your best friend. It's the single biggest Factor in adjusting the smoothness of the picture.

- Disable the Eco setting that auto dims the TV if you don't want the TV dimming itself. you have to change this individually for each viewing mode.

Conclusion: I like this TV but its too expensive and has some faults. As a result I cannot recommend it to most buyers as I feel a cheaper led back light lcd set would suit their needs better. However, I would recommend this TV to the techies who want the most stunning 4k sets around and are willing to spend hours playing with the settings.

I am not a tech guy but do appreciate a good picture on a TV. Excellent picture, minimal glare even with a large window nearby. Good visibility when watching from the sides. Speakers are ok, but did end up adding a sound bar for better sound.

So pleased with my new Samsung QLED Q90T TV!! Love the vibrant color and improved clarity and sharpness from my previous Samsung TV!!

Was considering a smaller size but decided to go with my original choice of 65” and so glad I went with bigger screen-when streaming movies with surround sound I have my home theater!!

I debated long and hard on which TV to get for 2020. For me, like many i'm sure, came down to the LG CX vs the Q90T. I needed a new TV because the 80R from 2019 (which I loved) was going into the bedroom. After much research and deliberation, I stuck with Samsung and I'm glad I did. I'm sure the CX probably has more accurate colors overall and deeper blacks, but I absolutely LOVE the vibrancy and pop the 90T has. And the black levels compared to the Q80R from last year are noticeably better and the best I've ever seen in a LCD TV. I don't own a Q90R but I've seen plenty in person and the 90T doesn't take a step back at all in my mind in this area. It's simply amazing what it can achieve.

Some other things about this TV worth mentioning is the responsiveness in gaming. It's amazing. Idk if I'm crazy or not but when playing Xbox One X with VRR/Freesync on, it feels noticeably smoother than my 80R which was great itself. Spec wise from rtings.com would suggest this shouldn't be the case, but I've went back and forth and this thing feels buttery smooth playing shooters. Almost as fast as my 165hz gsync monitor when I game on PC. It's amazing. ALSO, i feel it is important to note that I'm not getting any ghosting while gaming. I didn't on my 80R either. I honestly feel top to bottom that there isn't a better TV for gaming than the 90T when it comes to responsiveness, smoothness, gaming features, VRR, Freesync Premium, Low Framerate Compensation (LFC), HDMI 2.1, and much more. It has exceeded expectations so far in this area and I'm a BIG gamer.

I also love the eARC. I paired this TV with the new Sonos Arc and Sub. This is my first Atmos Soundbar and man am I impressed. What an upgrade from an old regular Samsung soundbar from 2015 that I had paired with the 80R. It's breathtaking with the way the sound fills the room and feels like it's coming from all directions.

I also love the interface/menu. My Q80R has Tizen 5.0 operating system whereas the 90T has Tizen 5.5. It's not a major upgrade but being able to have so many more apps on your home screen/home bar is very convenient now that they resized the icons. It was a little sluggish at first navigating through the menu, but I'm guessing it's because I was downloading up all the apps, since then and especially since I've hardwired it to my router, it's been basically butter smooth and you can tell some speed improvements overall with the new processor vs the 80R which is nice. Upscaling seems better overall than the 80R as well as minor improvements in motion.

Quick mention/bug is that I've noticed sometimes when I start up a movie from my Blu-ray player or a game on Xbox One X, the screen goes black for a bit (like 20 seconds or so) and then it comes back on once the game or blu-ray movie has loaded? It's weird and I'm guessing it's a firmware bug? I know it isn't my HDMI cables. It doesn't happen every time but it's worth mentioning so hopefully Samsung sees this and can offer further clarification.

I'll wrap this up by saying my last 3 TV's have all been Samsung (prior to that I was a Sony guy). I've had hardly any problems with any of them. I had a 2016 KS8000 before the 2019 Q80R and now the 2020 90T. I know if I had went with the CX I would've gotten the extended geek squad warranty to cover the possibility of potential burn in. By the time you add the warranty in, I was going to end up paying close to $500 more. That played a key part in my decision as well as knowing myself and how I would always worry/baby the OLED. I didn't want that worry. I want to use my TV's like I always have which is to never think twice about it. And even if there's only a 5% chance of getting burn in, it would always be on my mind. With that being said, I love this 90T. I wasn't expecting much of an upgrade coming from the 80R, but I've been pleasantly surprised so far. I enjoy a brighter/more vivid image anyway and IMO it is without a doubt the best LED/LCD 4K TV of 2020 and a TOTAL beast.

Overall build quality is excellent. The black background is more enhanced and deeper than the old models. the picture is very pleasant to watch. the wonderful thing is that Q90T does all automatically. it was not necessary to fine-tune under the advanced setting. Setup: Easy, you need to PEEL OFF the screen protective film where small barcodes are attached. This is a very thin & very outer one (like food warps). The manual doesn't describe it clearly and confusing messages on the net. So the installation would be; 1. Take it out from the box and place it where you want to put it 2. peel off two plastic (white) protectors on each side of the screen 3. peel off the outer screen protector, where you see the barcode stickers on the screen Picture Quality: The best so far, refer attached comparison pictures Compare to one-year-old Samsung 4K TV, it is breathtakingly better, black is truly black, with no visible light bleedings on all corners. Color is very even across the screen. Less grainy and more depth in shades & colors. Design: Very narrow outer vessel with a High-quality metallic trim, but, the overall thickness (or depth) of the Q90T is thicker (about 1 inch ). However, it gives a more solid feeling when I set up the TV. The TV looks very handsome and clean look (as for the minimalism). The narrow vessel gives a more immersive TV experience. A distinctive Ambient Mode+ turning the TV into décor, artwork, and other essential information display such as the weather, today's headlines, and more. Audio: It is a huge differentiator, never seen the tv sound this good with 3D effects. Clear and loud, 60w, no need an external speaker/soundbar. Samsung stated that "Active Voice Amplifier analyzes the ambient noise and enhances the voices in the scene so you can hear the dialogue clearly." It is genuinely working and gives a very distinctive sound quality. Smart features and interface: Smart menus: Much improved, easy to navigate, notice several improvements over 2019 models; faster response, and more video formats are supported with the NAS (Network Attached Storage, or your data storage server). The external device connection is made automatically once hook up the HDMI cable; it identifies any changes quickly. We watched several movies, including Hamilton, it was very immersive and enjoyed the great picture quality and sound. For the gamer, this would be the best TV, refresh rate and motions are much better than my 32" WQHD computer monitor.

This is my first smart TV and I went all out and got the big TV 65 in Samsung. Every TV that I've ever owned since there was flat screen televisions I've always had Samsungs. I don't know why but I just prefer the clarity and the quality of the television.

The Smart TV has made me completely wireless. I don't have to pay for cable because basically because I'm an Amazon prime member I have pretty much anything I want to watch between Samsung TV and prime. I do pay for Netflix but it's not exactly as good as what I can get for free. The television is awesome. I'm still learning it and it's been a month. I'll probably be learning it for a while. I made a good decision.

This TV is a nice bright tv. The colors are great. The black levels are ok but even though it is a QLED, it’s a 60 Hertz QLED. I would not recommend it to the mid-level gamer or heavy movie watcher. I don’t like the remote. I prefer LG’s Magic remote over the Samsung smart remote.

My 65 Samsung QLED was purchased with my 85 QLED and the 65 went straight to the loft! The image is clean clear and extremely sharp!

I did have Geek Squad installed the surround sound system in it so that it looks factory! So the sounds pouts you in a mind of a movie theater!

Love the quality of the color. Would like the remote to have more of the functions visible so I don't have to figure out which button is the guide or information. Reminds me of an Ipod. Looks nice but i'm more interested in function. Also would like a little more extensive quick use guide.

I’m a little biased when it comes to Samsung products. My TV is just an upgraded version of the one I had so this is 2020 and the previous one I had was 2017. The remote is even a little bit better because now it has where if I just want to switch from watching Netflix or Amazon prime I don’t even have to head out an additional button. Colour contrast everything is just amazing. I love the remote because all my devices or Samsung so it just work with all my devices in the house.

## Setup

The TV was very easy to setup. In fact, when powering it on, the TV played some soothing music while walking me through the process... nice touch! The process involved installing the SmartThings app, which unfortunately requires setting up a Samsung account (minor gripe). The app automatically detected my TV over Bluetooth and allowed me to easily setup the Wifi and basic settings through my phone.

Unfortunately, the TV only has 2 HDMI inputs. For most people, this should cover their cable box (or streaming box) and a game console, but for me, I needed a 3rd input for my BluRay player as well.

## Picture Quality

From the early reviews for this TV, I see some owners had an issue with the picture quality. I've installed the latest version of the firmware and have not noticed any issues. This can be done by pressing the small "Settings" button near the bottom of the remote, then navigating to Support > Software Update.

I've owned a couple Samsung TVs and have always been impressed with their picture quality. The 7-series for 2020 does not disappoint. Colors are vibrant and the picture is very clear.

I found the TV's default "Standard" setting to be a little to washed out. Here are the settings I like, which doesn't mean you'll necessarily like them, but they're here for anyone that wants to try them:

Press the Settings button towards the bottom of the remote, and navigate to Picture > Expert Settings.

Brightness: 45

Contrast: 50

Color: 40

Tint: 0

Apply Picture Settings: All Sources

Picture Clarity Settings: Auto

Contrast Enhancer: High (can make some scenes look washed out; sometimes I prefer it Off)

Film Mode: Off

Color Tone: Standard

... the rest of the settings I left at default

Also, go to Settings > General > Eco Solution and bring up the "minimum brightness" to about 25. I found the TV got too dim at times on the default setting (it adjusts based on the ambient lighting in the room).

Almost every Samsung TV I've owned has an issue with the "Auto Motion Plus" feature, particularly when watching programs on ABC (I'm not sure why) where the picture randomly jerks harshly. I'm happy to say that I have not noticed this behavior on this TV.

Gamers: don't forget to enable "Game Mode" in the settings. The "Auto" setting has worked well at detecting when I switch between my Nintendo Switch and my Apple TV box.

Apple TV 4K owners: Samsung seems to go into a different picture mode whenever HDR is enabled, which I find annoying as it ignores all of my settings above (this also happened on my previous Samsung TV). In the Apple TV settings, I usually set the Display Mode to 4K SDR 60Hz (which turns off the HDR output).

As a "cord cutter," I really appreciate the work Samsung has done implementing a free streaming service they call Samsung TV Plus (which is esentially a rebranded version of Pluto TV). Samsung TV Plus is directly integrated with the TV's built-in guide (which is also free) and shows free streaming channels after your antennae's local broadcast channels. So you can go channel surfing seamless between Over-the-Air stations and streaming Internet stations. The TV also highlights available on-demand movies and TV shows that are also free. So kudos to Samsung for creating and integrating a free streaming service that doesn't require yet another subscription!

I rely on apps heavily, in particular Netflix and YouTube TV. Netflix works on about every Smart TV known to man, but YouTube TV is hit or miss. I was happy to find that YouTube TV is available on this Samsung TV! Therefore, I can use YouTube TV without needing to switch inputs to my Apple TV box (but I find the Apple TV box to be faster and more responsive than the built-in apps).

Other apps I noticed available in the TV's app section include Disney+, Apple TV service, Hulu, HBO, Sirius XM and more. Of course, these services are not free and require a subscription.

If you have an iPhone or iPad, you'll also be happy to know that this TV supports AirPlay 2, so you can mirror or "cast" videos and photos from your iPhone directly to this TV. Previously, this could only be done if you owned an Apple TV box, but this is something new that Apple's partners are offering.

Sometimes while using the built-in apps, I have found the TV to get laggy and takes awhile to "catch up" with key presses. Usually power cycling the TV helps... I have not resorted to pulling the plug from the outlet yet, but that's my backup plan. Hopefully this can be addressed in a future firmware update. If you are using a streaming box like Apple TV or a Roku and simply just using the TV to switch inputs, this probably won't affect you.

Overall, I found the picture quality to be great on this set and appreciate the built-in cord cutting features such as the free Samsung TV Plus. Built-in apps can be a little buggy, but hopefully this improves over time with future firmware updates.

I replaced my old LG 65inch because it color got washed out and dark after 4 years with this one. Wow! This one is great, it inexpensive, easy to connect via airplay with my old MacBook 15, sound better than my old tv, more responsive, and smarter too. I curbside pick the TV into my truck, push the TV from drive way into the living room, unboxed and attached the stand, download the SmartThings app, and enjoy. I did all by myself because it light. I would recommend this TV.

I purchased this TV UN65TUu7000FXZA a week ago online and picked it up at my local store and even though it was curbside delivery I was very pleased with the experience and the worker was very helpful in helping me load it since I recently had back surgery done. I left it on for about 3 days before I even thought about adjusting any of the picture settings to give it a proper burn-in time. Straight out of the box this thing is huge and I had to tie it down in my sister's SUV because it was actually too large to fit with the rear door shut. I got it home and followed the unboxing video that Best Buy has on their site for help unboxing it and the video was very accurate, I love the little sponge things on each side of the screen that helps with not getting fingerprints on the screen as well as protecting it from damage. I tried to download the Smart Things app but couldn't get it to work so I just used the on-screen input. I logged into my Wi-Fi no problem and since I already had my antenna hooked up it automatically found all the stations it could, although I'll be adding a second antenna since it didn't pick up a few of my local stations with this particular antenna, and then I went through and finished the registration on-screen without a hitch. I like that Samsung added a lot of extra free channels all in a neat and organized way to find pretty much any kind of program ..you wanna watch although the extra channels are not A-list channels they do offer a great variety to watch. This thing is super clear even before I adjusted it for my Xbox One S, I did however have to turn game mode off for my games because it had a lag from what was actually happening to what I seen on the screen I was getting killed a lot on my games, but I think this is more my Xbox's fault than it is the TV Since I don't have the higher powered Xbox One X. The built in apps are great I've only used Netflix so far but it's very responsive although I did find if you leave the TV on for more than a day and it goes into screensaver mode when you start watching Netflix again there is a definite lag on the voice and picture sync, the easy fix to this is just turn off the TV for a few minutes then turn it back on and voila it's perfect again. The remote is not too bad although if you have large hands like me you might have problems with some of the smaller buttons like I've had. Also there is a small lag from when you hit a button and the TV responding to that command I ran into it while I was setting the TV up initially but I've gotten used to it now and it's not that noticeable. You will definitely need a friend to help you get this out of the box and on a flat surface to either attach the standard legs or to put brackets on it for a TV stand like I have. It's not very heavy but it is a little cumbersome to do by yourself and trust me you don't wanna hurt your back trying to be he-man even though it's not very heavy. Overall 5 stars, I had a 50inch Vizio that I upgraded from and this thing blows my old one out of the water hands down without a doubt. The controls for adjusting the picture is nicely organized and it has an abundance of settings to choose from. I would highly recommend this TV to friends and family alike especially for the price. I could have gotten an 2018 model for about 150 dollars cheaper somewhere else but I figured if I'm buying new go ahead and get a 2020 model instead I'm glad I listened to my instincts and got this one. Oh and I have a 1200 watt Kenwood surround sound system and I'm not even using it because the TV speakers even though they're only 20watts will blow your socks off on how clear and precise everything sounds I just wish I could hook my subwoofer up just for a little more bass.

I bought this 65 inch 7 series Samsung back in March of this year(2021) and I’m still pleased with my purchase. The picture is beautiful, and looks great regardless if I’m watching Netflix, Hulu, music videos on YouTube or whatever. I paired it with a sound bar, and I couldn’t be happier.

This was my first TV purchase in 20 years and my first Smart TV purchase. I'm subscribed to quite a few streaming services and I figured given the low cost, and all that I could access without cable, it would be a worthwhile purchase.

The TV has a sleek profile and is light. I'm not too happy with the legs. I had two other people try to push them in further, and they won't go (see the pic). I REALLY don't like the remote -- it's not very ergonomic and doesn't have voice command. It's really dreadful to use. And I find that the software/processor lags. It took 2 installs of the Disney+ app to get it to work. Sometimes Amazon Prime video just stops playing. Setting up the TV was just painful; because every app needs to go in and set your login information. But I guess that is to be expected.

The picture quality is great. TV speaker sound is ok, but for movies or sports, you definitely want a soundbar. I had one that was 5 years old, never used, and I hooked it up to the TV via Bluetooth. Works great. I do have to re-pair the soundbar every time I turn the TV on though.

Overall I'm satisfied enough with the TV. As far as how it operates, I put it in the 'average' category. But you get a lot of TV for less than $500 here so that definitely counts for something.

I absolutely love my Samsung TV. It was a very user friendly setup and the quality of this TV is more than I expected! It really brings movies and shows to life with the size of the picture, sound and visual display. I really am glad that I switched to Samsung and I highly recommend Samsung TV’s for anyone who is in the market to buy.

UN65TU7000

great size tv for the price, this will be the 3rd Samsung tv I owned, I still have my mid range Samsung 55” KS8000 to this budget rage 65” TU7000, you prob ask why compare a budget rage to mid range tv, well the KS8000 is from 2018 and TU7000 is the 2020 version, so my guess is that after these year technology should caught up by now.

first about the 65TU7000 the design of the tv I thought was beautiful the bezel of the monitor was fairly thin, it’s simple setup all you need to add are the two legs that you attached under the tv. the tv also been fully updated to the latest firmware 1082, fully tested on using different applications, and playing video games for hours. now let’s see what my Pros and Con for this tv.

Pros

- easy installation is what I like about samsung tv for the past few years now

- have the ability to setup your tv using your phone, by download loading samsung app

- Operating System (OS) looks beautiful and clean

- fairly slim design tv with color with a hint of black and grey.

- the tv have the ability to recognize which console is being plug in hdmi (even gives the screen a logo of the console on OS)

- input lag on this tv is very low. so it feels quick and snappy, a lot lower than LG tvs.

- automaticity switching the tv on game mode when console is plugged in

- samsung finally have apply air-play where you can connect your apple device to watch it on big screen, if you own an apple device this feature is such a huge plus! considering you won’t need to buy apple tv.

Cons

- while the design of tv is fine, I was thrown off of how the color of the feet of the tv was way off from the main body, it came with light grey colored plastic feet, and it just look weird after the installation

- the OS of the tv was still slow even after the latest firmware was installed

- 2 hdmi input was a big let down it’s kinda hard to decide which one to plug since most people have more than 2 hdmi devices in their homes.

- about apple air-play the application also then to lag when you transfer a video from your phone to watch on apple air-play the video will eventually stutter and that was bothering me and had to stop the movie using air-play

- not knowing if HDR is on was kinda hard for me to like this tv, the tv also just doesn’t give me that vibrant color I would hope for during HDR mode, made me question if HDR was even activated until I saw on picture setting that is indeed on HDR

- picture quality I thought was ok, seems to be on the softer side, colors like was mentioned above wasn’t as vibrant as I would hope, the black level was also weak, this will show when you watch movies with black bars on them, the black bar doesn’t look black at all.

was hoping for more advance setting for the picture quality but i’m glad that I didn’t not see any cinema effects section during the settings. was hoping that these 2020 tv would be better that would have better technology, I was planning on replacing my samsung KS8000 in the bedroom to this, but after spending time on this my 3 year old KS8000 pictures quality still beats this tv, it might not have the latest features that this TU7000 have but the OS

of my 3 year old tv is way faster than this 2020 model, the KS8000 also have much better black level, TU7000 back lighting is not that great, I think this 65” TU7000 is a great tv for those people that doesn’t care or pay attention to things that I listed but only cares about having the 65” size in their house.

gaming on this tv is prob the only plus for me, it runs great you can feel the low input lag helps , but even gaming with HDR wasn’t great at all, colors just wasn’t poppin as I would hope. run as good as my 55”KS8000, overall I think for the price and feature it has is still worth the purchase, but i’d only recommend this tv to those that doesn’t care about little features it might have, for this people that colors matters then i’d recommend adding extra 100+ to get a better samsung tv.

Good value for the price. Picture pixelates a lot during fast motion and could be brighter for my taste but serves its purpose, it also has a lot more glare Han my old tv. You get what you pay for.

For those who demand their TV fit their home décor and not their home décor fit their TV, the Frame is the perfect solution. The selections of art work is impressive if you opt for the subscription service, but it’s nice that Samsung included some free art and the ability to add your own pictures.

Installation: The included slim mount is nice for the most part. Unfortunately, it comes it 2 pieces which led to me being able to only use 1 wood stud in my wall, but using anchor screws solved my problem. Once the TV is hanging on the wall, you can easily adjust it to level it out. I would recommend watching some online videos if you are not familiar with mounting TVs on walls. The included One Connect Box is awesome, it allows you to just run a single wire in your wall instead of numerous cables like Power, HDMI, optical, ethernet, etc. In addition, it’s easy to add, remove, or change any connection since the box is separated.

Usability: The Frame uses a custom interface similar to Google TV in layout, with content taking center stage over just Smart APPs, which I really enjoy. It does take some time to figure out all the bells and whistles and where everything is located. The interface is fast, responsive, and it just works well. I was able to set up Google Assistant and SmartThings without issue. My wife loves turning the lights off & on and looking the doors from the couch. One thing I really like is the remote control, which I don’t think gets enough attention or praise. I was able to control all my entertainment devices, like my Polk Sound Bar, my LG Blu-Ray player, and my ROKU Ultra. It has a built-in solar panel which is able to charge the remote, no more having to re-charge my AA batteries.

Picture Performance: Before comparing any TV, you should first update the Picture Mode to “Movie” on this TV, as it gives it the most accurate colors. The Frame with its Quantum Dot, 4K, HDR10+ panel makes a really good picture, colors are vibrant and accurate, the blacks are good (but not OLED black), and I didn’t notice anything that looked bad or out of place like motion blur or dark spots. The one thing I did notice, was that the screen reflected light very well, which is a bad thing. If you have a lot of natural light, this may be an issue with Art mode, during TV watching I forgot about the reflection. It’s very nice they included a Game mode with support for AMD FreeSync & eARC over HDMI which allows you to get the latest Atmos enabled sound.

This is #2. I like art and it serves two purposes. I don’t have to keep buying expensive art to enjoy it.

We received our Samsung 65 inch tv the day before we were going on vacation. I had to wait a whole week and a half to get back and finally set up The Frame TV as Samsung refers to it. I read reviews on mounting the television and made the decision to have a professional hang the tv. Turned out to be a smart decision as the newer model contains two different mounts where as the older model was single mount. This proved to be a little more difficult and different bolts were used then the ones Samsung provided. Once the install was completed, I was free to gaze at all the different features that this television offers. The artwork view is stunning and actually looks like a painting in my living room. I have showed numerous people I work with and they can’t believe that it is a television. A single plastic wire hangs down from the television which powers it and connects to a Samsung power box. The wire is not such a bother and is tough to see. I am not a fan of a bunch of wires hanging down the wall and this is not the case with this television. The television comes with some complimentary artwork or you can subscribe to thousands of art for 5 dollars a month. They do offer a free month trial to start. The remote is solar powered and very easy to navigate. Setup was easy on the television and within minutes had some of the apps downloaded to watch other subscription services. The picture is very clear and my kids have enjoyed watching many YouTube videos on The Frame already. The television has a motion detection that you can use when the artwork is on display. After the designated time goes by and no motion is detected, the television turns off. When motion is detected again the artwork is restored. The volume fills the room up ok and maybe a sound bar in the future would enhance the sound. The television has a self diagnosis display that you press and it starts scanning for any potential problems that need to be fixed. I tried this and it fixed my auto volume function. This television is just wonderful to have and feels really completes my living room. This room has become the place to gather as the Samsung Frame television has completely delivered another special product.

The 65" LS03A Samsung Frame TV, this product is amazing, very easy to mount and its great how it sits flush with the wall. I will have to replace the rest of the TV,s in the home with the Samsung Frame. Truly magnificent TV. It really feels like a piece of art. Really takes the TV element out of the room and really gives the feeling of a picture on the wall. Very easy setup just follow the instructions given once the TV is turned on and you will be well on your way to uninterrupted tv viewing. Since receiving the TV I haven’t been able to keep my youngest kid out of my room, he is loving the YouTube app and streaming his favorite YouTuber. I love the way you can set the tv to display to a different artwork, the TV really makes the home feel like an art Gallery. It’s great how the new remote is built, so you don’t need to keep on replacing the battery, also the remote has the capability to power its self via solar power. There are just so many great things about the 65" LS03A Samsung Frame TV, the art mode is one of my favorite things on the TV, I love how you can change a picture at the touch of the button. The different options for the frame are also great. You can definitely notice a difference with the 4K processor really takes the viewing to a different level. The invisible cable leading from the tv to the connect box keeps everthing tidy, definitely a fan of having the connect box. The adaptive sound integrated into the TV is really amazing, I have never experienced that before it really does bring a different viewing experience. I'm loving the TV so far. The picture is beautiful. It's got a lot of bells and whistles so I'm still getting used to it. Not gonna lie...it is a very expensive screen saver. The art looks nice but you're not fooling anyone that this isn't a TV. But I'm happy with it and I'm gonna keep playing with it.

From an aesthetic perspective, the Samsung Frame TV is one of the best. I have been extremely impressed with the quality of artwork the Samsung tv displays when in “art mode.” It is relaxing and intriguing (depending on the piece of artwork) when walking by and seeing it on my tv. We recently started adding our own photos and love being able to see a collage of memories on the screen. For tv viewing, it works well. I have been a little disappointed with the interface. I am still trying to learn how to find everything that I am wanting. Several times, my kids just switch over the Roku to watch whichever channel they are looking for. When you press the home button on the remote, a bar appears at the bottom for you to scroll and find the channel you want. This is great. It becomes more cumbersome when you are wanting to search for new content or get out of a certain app. One of my favorite features is that is connects to most of my other smart devices – through both Google Home and Samsung Smart-things. Being able to speak into the remote to search on YouTube or to turn my lights off and on has been very convenient. I also like that the remote has a “solar” charging plate on the back of the remote. I no longer have to find batteries when the remote dies on me, as long as I leave it face down to charge with my room lights, it has always had enough battery. My husband installed the tv into the wall to hide the cord. We used the kit that it came with. It took him a 2-3 hours by himself. Eventually I would like to buy the beveled edge for the tv. I think it would give it a clean, crisp look.

So far we Love our 65 inch Samsung Frame TV. We purchased a 43 inch Fram TV earlier this year and have really been impressed with it. So when our Family room TV went up after 15 years we decided to get the bigger 65 inch. We were able to connect 2 game systems our cable box and a sound bar we already had, though the sound through the TV is pretty good without it.

I purchased The Frame TV to mount over the fireplace in my formal living room. I wasn’t sure about having a tv in a formal space, but as soon as it was hung I knew I made the right decision. This tv has definitely made a statement and has become a conversation piece when family and friends visit our home. In addition to being a beautiful piece of art, the tv offers a crisp, clear picture and vibrant colors. It is compatible with the Alexa app, YouTube, Netflix and more. All the research I did said do not buy this TV at least not until more 8k content comes out in about three years. I bought it anyway. Did I make the correct decision? YES.

Love this tv and cannot get enough of asking Alexa questions. Happy with our purchase and would purchase again. Decoded on this model to upgrade but avoid any burn in.

Overall this is a fantastic new TV for our family room. One of the decisions that helped us go with the new Samsung Q900TS opposed to LG or Sony, was the greatly reduced glare. Our family room has about 6 large windows and the sunlight is great for natural lighting, but not great for TV screens that are affected by glare.

All of the new features like the incredible amount of apps, even Samsung TV+ is great to have, especially for the price of $FREE.

I did have an issue with Alexa interface and our Sonos Arc Sound bar that also has Alexa, which causes issues when asking Alexa to change the channel and the TV sometimes does and then it sometimes doesn't, while the Sonos sound bar comes back with "I don't understand that".

I changed the TV assistant to Bixby and kept the Sonos on Alexa that mesh with the other Sonos speakers we have and it works a lot better now. I also own a Samsung Note 20 Ultra and I like the screen sharing and other cool interfaces it has between the phone and the TV.

The picture quality is great and I really like the edgeless screen.

The last 65" tv I bought for this room was also a Samsung and it lasted about 8 years and was great. It was just time to update to a 4k or 8K and I haven't been disappointed.

I bought an open box rated excellent condition. I think best buy should of been a little bit more forth coming. Although I like the tv, it was a demo model with a lot of hours with the tv being on in the store. I wasn't expecting that. when I brought it home it had so many finger prints on it. I did take me awhile to clean the screen. If I didn't get the TV hung by the geek squad i wouldn't of paid 150 dollars to set it up. it was easy to set up. the problem given to me was they never took the tv off of demo mode, so I went 2 days without watching the TV. I received good service otherwise and the tv is great.

Great TV. My tv is always producing excessive heat which isn't normal. That is the only negative comment I have to say. I have contacted bestbuy and they are willing to work with me if it situation persist.

This is an excellent solution for my sun-splashed viewing room. Lots of screen brightness possible. Upscaling ability is very good, too. I do find the Remote device a little tricky. The up/down volume button is too sensitive and does a “mute” instead, depending how you touch the control.

Used to play with ps5 and watch 4k movies (or higher). Will be able to handle upgrades for the next few years. Great price for what it was used for and how it was made.

I’ve only had this TV for a little over a month now and so far it exceeds my expectations! The picture is great daytime, evening or night. I did install it in a outdoor case (storm shell) for added protection and it actually amplifies the sound so no additional speakers are needed. I get nothing but complements on this awesome TV. I didn’t have a good spot on my house because of all the windows so I installed it on 2 posts cemented in the ground on the side of my patio and it turned out great.

Be careful, this is not an Outdoor TV, even though it costs x4 times what a normal TV does. I've owned another set from the leader in outdoor TVs for almost 3 years and i am very happy with the brand: Very resistant, sustained multiple Florida storms just protected by its cover, and no damages. Antiglare screen with perfect image even with direct sunlight.

Magnolia convinced me of upgrading to the new Samsung, as for the same price ($5k) i could get a larger set.

Well, this is what i got for the same price:

- glossy screen with no anti-glare. Horrible reflection at least until 5pm.

- The TV is under a roof and protected by a screen, but does receive wind and rain in heavier weather. The first time there was a heavy rain and wind the screen got damaged. Called Samsung and their response is that this is a very sensitive screen that is not design to be exposed to wind and heavier weather. The technician that came to my home even said that besides protecting the connections in the back and having more resolution this is just a normal TV. That i shouldn't have put it outdoors as it is very sensitive.

In summary, save your dollars and buy the real outdoor TV brand, that will last you longer and give you a much better image

The picture on this television is unbelievable. We owned a smaller different brand of outdoor tv. This unit is so far ahead of the other brand with all the features of an indoor tv including streaming capabilities.

Owned most of the other Samsung Qled TV's and this is for sure my favorite one. I love what they did with the new Neo Qled. Awesome brightness and very vibrant colors! If you have the money for it, and you are thinking about it. Do it! You will not regret it!!

I bought the 2019 Samsung 8K television and it was fraught with issues; least of which was the lack of e-ARC capability which was promised by Samsung by way of a firmware update but never delivered—the lip sync latency issues were maddening for a television that was supposed to be the ‘flagship’ model. After a very lengthy (6 month) repair and return process with Samsung customer service, I was fully refunded and bought this 2021 8K Neo model. It is superior in every way. The picture quality is the best I have ever experienced, it has e-ARC baked in, and aesthetically it is a piece of art to behold. I will report back after 90 days of use for those that are interested; as for the time being, I could not be happier. Highly Recommended. Five Stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Best decision I ever made buying this TV I have a Lot of features

TV picture gave out in less than 1 month. Thank goodness I'm a Best Buy Elite customer otherwise I would be out of luck. I have Samsung products throughout my home but a TV this expensive should have better quality

Its gorgeous. Absolutely gorgeous in every single way. Blacks as close to an OLED as any LCD has ever been. No loss of color at wide viewing angles. No blooming. Gaming features are amazing. QSymphony works great. 4 HDMI 2.1 ports means i can get the most out of both of my next gen consoles. The brightness and color accuracy are also incredible. Love this TV. I put a Govee Immersion light strip on the back which just further enhances the experience with movies and games. Hands down best tv for bright rooms. I do get why the rainbow effect from direct light hitting the antiglare coating bothers some people, but its far from a deal breaker for me personally.

The picture quality of this tv is amazing! I had an old tv that needed replacing, so I got this one. It's crazy to see how great the quality is compared to my old television. The picture is just so vivid. And I love the built-in features like Samsung TV Plus. I haven't had cable in forever, and with this feature, I don't even have to use my antenna. I also love the slim profile of the tv. And the fact that the remote is rechargeable via a USB C or solar-powered is just amazing. Set up was quick and easy. Though it recommends two people, I was able to fully set up my tv by myself. So incredibly happy with this purchase. My visitors have commented on how sleek the tv looks and how vivid the picture is. I almost hate to upload these pictures because my pictures (not a photographer lol) do not do this television justice!
