$750 is a deal for this big TV. Looks amazing and sounds great.Oct 27, 2021 14:58
Exchanged a Hisense we got a really great deal on because there were issues. We left with this tv and it was on sale. The interface is great thus far. User friendly no issues with adding apps. The picture quality is like you’re right there with the characters on screen, still figuring out the sound and thus far no glitches. I’m undecided on how I feel about the remote. But we are now very happy with our tv purchase.Oct 23, 2021 00:51
Awesome price, Easy Setup, Killer magic Remote! The sound quality its top notch! An the picture is stunning!Oct 20, 2021 07:38
This TV is a huge upgrade from my 55" TCL Roku TV. I was looking at other TVs around the $700 price range and saw this one on sale. The picture quality is top notch and the sound is way louder than my previous TV. I've owned the TV for a week but so far so good.Oct 29, 2021 09:44
Good price for a basic big screen LED TV. Not the greatest picture quality, but good enough for daily viewing.Nov 01, 2021 17:11
I love my tv the pictures look so clear and I’m a buy another oneNov 02, 2021 00:57
Picture and sound are great! TV is a little shakey after screwed tightly on the stands, but otherwise this was a great buy at the price! Magic remote super sensitive too.Oct 28, 2021 13:02
Really good tv. Huge uograde from my 6 year old HD setNov 02, 2021 19:46

Sumsung tv is amazing and very beautiful tv 70" inch is a great size and can't complain love this since i set it up the picture is so clear and so smooth you have to buybto understand and enjoy the crystal view out of this world but to get the insurance for the tv is not worth it must ask insurance is only for dead pixels not for damage to tv nor other repairs to tvs buyers Be warned i will never buy insurance from best buy it is not worth it!!! They tell you one thing and now im lossing out on money and they wasted my time!!! They dont send out there geek squad but a 3rd party if you request for geek squad they charge you for the visit smh waste of time and money for meAug 30, 2021 13:35
I was replacing an older Sony Wega, 60", with custom sound & built in sound bars. The screen became so dim (even after replacing the lamp), that i just couldn't watch it anymore.
Since I'd had that for 7 years& it was given to me, i was VERY concerned with making sure i was happy about the replacement. I really wanted a 75", but, the 70" is more than enough!
I got used to using any apps through the firestick, & even though i have a smart tv in my bedroom, it makes such a big difference, having them built into our livingroom tv.
I only use Samsung phones, so i had high hopes, & so far, this tv has exceeded my expectations! The older tv did have AMAZING sound, so i purchased a Samsung soundbar w/sub, & the two together are just, perfect!
The picture is beautiful, & it is so easy to set up manually, or through the samsung app. Highly recommended!Oct 15, 2021 15:39
Just purchased a new home and bought this tv to go over the fire place. Its the perfect size, the tv is smooth when you are going through the apps and easy to connect to your samsung phone and internet. Love I would get another one.Oct 19, 2021 12:08
I waited a very long time before considering this purchase. I previously had an LG that was 55 inches but I was impressed with the quality of the Samsung picture, because my mother has a Samsung in her home. It was very easy to set up and honestly I wish that I wouldn’t of waited so long to purchase his television.Sep 17, 2021 20:48
The Samsung 70" tv I purchased was a great buy. This tv is great. This is an upgrade from the 65" Westinghouse I purchased here a few years ago.Oct 29, 2021 18:27
Awesome TV for the price...! That thing looks huge and the image quality is crisp with beautiful colors and details. Highly recommend it...!Oct 29, 2021 21:37
I bought this huge Tv for my daughter and her husband as a housewarming gift. They loved it. Beautiful colors amazing futures . Price is right.Oct 23, 2021 11:31
Just brought this TV! Had it set up today! So far so good! I love the picture and it looks great! I pray it will last for years to come!Oct 24, 2021 20:17

I have had this TV for a few weeks. A few issues with it so far, such as the bevel separating from the screen creating a white line in the picture. The user interface is difficult to get used to. It switches inputs by itself, when using voice control the tv searches the web instead of going to the app I’m trying to open.
Overall I give it a four out of five as the picture quality is great for the price. I cannot speak for the inbuilt speakers as I have not used them.Oct 22, 2021 15:58
I love this television. I have it mounted on the wall in my bedroom. I can now enjoy football games while relaxing in bed. The price was also good.Oct 15, 2021 17:11
LG I love the tv it’s sweet and it’s a 70 in size you can’t go wrong had it for 3 weeks now .Oct 29, 2021 16:11
Great deal. This TV came highly recommended from the representative in the store.Sep 10, 2021 17:22
We bought it online and it arrived in perfect condition! We love our new TV! Perfect LG TV.Sep 17, 2021 17:59
Awesome TV!!!!!!!!!! Must buy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Jun 04, 2021 15:48
Got this TV few weeks ago for my living room. It has a great image, love the voice control and the free LG tv channels.
I have a Samsung TV and was used to more vibrant colors, but after a few days i started loving this LG.
Look out for promotions. I got mine $200 off.
The picture is right after i took it out of the box.Sep 05, 2021 15:58
I would buy a 75" OLED, but the built in TV cabinet at our house just won't fit it - 70" is the largest I could go, and there are just few options for this size. I replaced a brand new Samsung 70" that was $400 more and had audio issues with Sonos. Back to back tested the two for picture differences and there's something about this TV that just pops color and clarity. Blacks could be a bit better but what do you expect from an LED TV. The remote is great and the "mouse pointer in the air" concept works surprisingly well. Overall extremely satisfied as this TV beat my expectations.Jun 13, 2021 21:15

Good size if 65" is a bit small and 75" is too big. Gorgeous picture, with colors and white bright and vibrant. 4K/HDR content sources are amazing, when they are colorful. Unfortunately, there is significant backlight bloom and bleed when viewing dark content. It is very noticeable at night and in dark rooms, and while it is slightly less noticeable during the day, it's problematic enough that I had to return it because 90% of my TV watching occurs at night, and I watch a lot of films with dark scenes, and play lots of video games with dark areas. Despite what some say about QLED being a marketing tactic, I truly believe it presents amazing vibrancy that is unmatched, even by top-tier OLED screens (I think in part because QLED gets brighter than OLED). If the bloom/bleed wasn't as noticeable, I would have kept this, but unfortunately it's too noticeable for my use cases, and for that reason, I returned it. Attached a couple of pictures to demonstrate (the second photo is a still from the film 1912).Apr 15, 2021 12:47
The Samsung Q60 is legit a boss when it comes to the latest technology. Its 4k UHD blows my mind.. def worth the money !!Jun 19, 2021 19:10

My television was great for the first couple months. Then the screen started to separate from the frame. White light would leak out from the side of the TV.
I contacted Samsung to get the TV serviced or replaced under warranty. They sent a tech and he acknowledged that the issue was due to a manufacturing defect.
He came back two weeks later with a replacement screen. The replacement screen was ALSO DEFECTIVE.
At this point I wanted a new version of this TV. Clearly they have a systemic issue with this model. The tech told me as much and they repair this model quite frequently.
Buyer beware. Customer service refused to replace the TV with a comparable unit after acknowledging that it should be. Their reason? They don't have the unit in stock. They offered a refund, but that was it. Two days off work to meet the tech, two defective screens. My TV is still bursting at the seam as we speak and getting worse. They will allow me to get a refund, but because I bought the 70" TV on sale - a refund won't even allow me to buy a comparable replacement. Not to mention i have to do all the work to dismount the TV, take it to Best Buy. Buy another one at my own expense, transport it and mount it back.
Customer SERVICE? Must be dead. Buyer beware.Mar 19, 2021 23:31
Big TV for sure. I love it. The wife not so sure on the size for her. Because it's a smart tv, I can cut out all of the dongles and add ons. No roku, no firestick, not google chromecast needed at all. The only thing that would make it even better would be to have assignable buttons for some of my preferred apps, like youtube tv, or Disney plus.Jan 15, 2021 18:15
I love the colour I can't beat the price that I got from black Friday early the size is very nice on its little big but um I could went with a 65" but I couldn't beat the deal for the 70" so yeah it doesn't lag or anything it stays connected to the Internet so ye yeDec 04, 2020 15:54
Love my new tv. I had a 42 inchsamsung plasma tv and decided to upgrade to his 70 inch samsung. I really like this the, picture is clear not the best but better then my old tv lol. I also added the light stripe in the back of the tv (see picture). Its really cool.Dec 04, 2020 16:18
TV Looks awesome, I've had the 60 Inch for over 6 years and decided to upgrade to 70 inch 4K and its great. worth every penny and the Samsung App that lets you see about 100 TV Channels without needing an antenna is a great plus.Jun 18, 2021 19:08
Am I crazy, yes. Do I regret this, never. If you want to feel like a king, are eccentric, or both, look no further. Just expect the typical Samsung WiFi connection issues in the first week or two (they haven’t fixed that part yet). After that, she runs like a majestic house.Jan 02, 2021 02:50
Love my tv need to get another one at first it didn’t fit in my Ford so I had to have it delivered cause it won’t fit in cars so grab a truck and a extra person trust me you don’t won’t to mess up this big nice tvJun 25, 2021 15:30
An excellent buy and have been using it for a year. Integration with Echo device is a challenge but will not complain for the price I bought this for. Always loved Samsung appliances for their performance and longevity.Nov 03, 2021 18:38
LG UHD packs more of what you want into a single smart TV. It's Ultra High Definition in a 4K display for four times the resolution of Full HD. A powerful processor enhances color, contrast, and clarity.
I love this tv! The picture is sharp! The 4K visuals for movies and games is amazing. It is overall just a great TV. It is an LG, so it is a little on the heavier side compared to most TV’s. If you purchase it and are going to mount it, I strongly recommend that the mount you get will hold and support the weight well.Oct 01, 2021 16:28
Pretty darn good picture for the size & price. I'm very happy with this LG 70 inch tv.
My biggest issue is the remote. I HATE IT!
I was previously using a Roku remote that was simple & had minimal decent size buttons on the remote.
This TV comes with an LG remote that has tiny buttons in a terrible not user friendly order. I can't watch Tv on the dark because I can't see or feel the correct button & I keep hitting the wrong thing & accidentally going somewhere I didn't want to go then struggling trying to figure out how to get back to where I wanted to be.
Other than that so far so good.Sep 09, 2021 10:36
This tv was exactly what we were looking for. Amazing picture and quality.Nov 06, 2021 06:12
Customers services was really good, however I'm having issues with the product. There are lines and clouds on the screen.. waste of money. Poor qualityAug 21, 2021 12:49
Absolutely love this tv. Picture quality is amazingOct 29, 2021 20:52
Great tv, beautiful picture. Easy to navigate all our apps and shows.Oct 15, 2021 15:27
Perfect fit love it football games movies music anything elseSep 24, 2021 15:56
If I could give it zero stars I would. Unpacked the entire tv and plugged it in and the screen wouldn’t stop flickering. Would have returned it the same day but by the time I packaged it back up the store was closed.Jul 16, 2021 21:38
Enter a world saturated with color and sharpened to refreshing clarity, all of it made possible through the power of Quantum Dot technology
After looking at this TV on display in the store l knew l would be satisfied with the purchase. I am constantly amazed by so many different programs, games and so on with my new tv.Oct 01, 2021 23:48
This tv is a beauty. 4K material looks incredible. Easy to set up. Easy to connect to our WiFi. A great value!!!Aug 13, 2021 16:29
Just had this installed today, so this is a "first-impression" review. After doing adjustments on picture quality, if you sit in front of it, seems to be a nice, crisp picture. However, if you sit or stand at an angle, picture fades out a bit - not impressed. Shouldn't do it for how much you pay for this. Unfortunately, there's not a lot of selection for a 70".Jul 30, 2021 21:10
The tv works great! We had professional install including attaching our current sound bar. The installers were polite, professional and efficient.Sep 17, 2021 16:23
tv is working great nice color happy with the set and the men from geek squad that put it inOct 16, 2021 06:10
Tv is amazing. The remote has a solar panal on it and no batteries to replace. Can charge uabCNov 06, 2021 08:47
I had the previous year same model to compare. I prefer the colors, contrast and speaker of the past year. But overall never go wrong with Samsung.Oct 29, 2021 17:03
Wow! What a picture. Also the sound quality is excellent. Love the solar powered remote.Nov 03, 2021 13:31
Take in every moment with breathtaking 4K Ultra HD on this 70-inch screen. It’s equipped with DTS Studio Sound to create realistic and immersive audio. Access live over-the-air channels and streaming—and control it all with your voice. Ask Alexa to launch apps, search for titles and more. Experience the affordable, yet high-performing Insignia NS-70DF710NA21 70" Class F30 Series LED 4K UHD Smart Fire TV.
I love it !!! Caught on sale $499. It’s huge. Works and functions great this is my 3rd fire tv , I have a 55 inch and a 49 inch and I love all them because there is no need to buy a fire stick. And easy access to apps.Oct 24, 2020 13:39
Best tv I ever received highly recommended I was excited for this delivery thank you Best BuyAug 03, 2021 18:09
Tv screen keep closing don’t know why and it’s annoyingOct 05, 2021 17:55
Cor some reason when watching a childrens movie that is 1 hour and 13 minutes long the screen looks black with no picture at all or a dot of color at first i thought i just hooked it up wrong but i bought this on 7/13/2021 an now need a new tv that has no damage to it. I did not use it for the first 2 weeks as i was busy with back to school activities away from the house. I have never bought this brand before but no a little worried as i spent 2,000 on new tvs for my house that had only 1 small tv in my room after movie to this new houseAug 28, 2021 04:55
I got the deal for $499 so for what I paid I would say this is a good TV, however I am having a few issues. I chose the Insignia because I have a 42-in Insignia with Roku and it's great. The picture is much better, colors are crisper and brighter. I have an Amazon fire stick in my 42-in TV and the TV and fire stick load instantly when I turn on the TV. With my new 70-in it literally takes 6 minutes for the TV to load and if I try to use an app too soon it freezes. I have my 70-in TV connected by high-speed ethernet so everything should be loading faster than my 42-in that I have connected by Wi-Fi. I have tried everything I can within the settings to correct this issue but it's still persists. I really don't see any difference in the picture quality when I watch a movie or video in 4k vs not.
So for the price of $499 it is a huge TV and looks really nice on my TV stand but so far I'm not really happy with the picture quality, the amount of time it takes my TV to load, or the fact that my apps freeze.Nov 13, 2020 20:02
Really wanted to like this TV, the sound is great, setup was pretty easy, but the way the connectors in the back and power cable location make for a pain for wall mounting. Out of the box, the video settings has to be fine tuned, it was not impressive at all but OK after changing the default settings.
At about a month in, a horizontal scrolling line started to scroll down the screen, first while watching live sports, later on whenever there were fast changes in movement on the screen. I changed HDMI ports/cables, cable boxes but to no avail, then I also noticed it on built in apps as well and has gotten progressively worse. After talking to support and online forums, this is apparently a common occurrence in this model. Will return ASAPDec 29, 2020 23:53
Great picture, very easy to set up. Love Amazon Fire stick is built in. Great price!Jan 01, 2021 16:28
It’s an awesome TV, not to mention the price. Picture is clear and crisp and setup was super fast and simple. The voice commands work great and navigating between apps is really easy. It’s definitely my favorite TV to date.Nov 13, 2020 16:03
The A6G series. Proving that good things come in big packages too. Take your pick from 75”, 70”, 65”, 60”, 55”, 50” and 43” screens. For 4K UHD picture quality, in the perfect size for your space. With Android TV, you can discover 700,000+ movies and shows in one place. Ask Google to control your TV with your voice. And cast your photos, videos, and music from devices to your TV easily with Chromecast built-in™. Add to that Dolby Vision HDR and Auto Low Latency Game Mode. Or as we call it, a great looking TV.
I’m not familiar with Hisense TVs, so I wasn’t sure what to expect…but, knowing it was one of the “off” brands (at least, within the United States), I didn’t expect much. I know that Hisense has actually been around a while in other countries. I also k now that, in somewhat-recent years, they purchased the rights to produce Sharp-branded TVs for the North & South American markets. For the long-term, I still don’t know what to expect from this Hisense TV…but, for right now, I’m actually impressed. As my parents are up there in age, I felt this would go best in their living room…plus, it would be a huge improvement (size-wise) over the 55” TV in their living room.
UNBOXING & SETUP:
For the ‘unboxing’ portion, honestly, there’s not much to say. The packaging by Hisense is pretty-much standard for large-screen TVs & computer monitors. You don’t even “open” the box. There are 4 plastic “clips” along the bottom (two on each side) holding the top piece of the box to the bottom – simply squeeze the plastic tabs together, lower the tabs downward, and pull plastic pieces away from the box. Once all four are removed, you simply slide the upper box piece off & lay it on the floor, remove the Styrofoam piece from inside the lid (as it contains the legs), lay the cardboard piece protecting the front of the screen on top of the box, and then lay the TV (face-down) on the box. To attach the legs, each is held in place by a ‘pin’ & two screws. Interestingly, Hisense provides two different mounting positions for the legs – you can have them further out (close to the TVs edges) for wider TV stands…or, you can have them approximately a foot in from each edge, for narrower stands.
Once the TV is physically in place, going through the setup process is extremely simple as unboxing – ESPECIALLY if you’re using an Android phone/tablet. You can do the setup procedure before, or after, connecting a cable/satellite box, but I chose to do it before. Simply open your Google app, and type in “ok google set up my device”…and, it walks you through everything else. I’ve had “smart” TVs that were easy to set up (my Sony, for example)…but, honestly, this was the EASIEST TV I’ve ever set up. Once I logged into my Google account, everything else, including transferring my Wi-Fi settings, were automatically done.
IMAGE & AUDIO QUALITY:
Here’s where things get ‘interesting’…and NOT for any “bad” reason, but purely because everything was better than I expected. Colors are not ‘bright’, but neither are they ‘muted’. Surprisingly, colors look quite ‘natural’…and, images are sharp. Speaking of Sharp, I had the opportunity to test one of the Sharp 4K TVs produced by Hisense a coupe years ago, and I was NOT impressed. Now, remember, Hisense manufacturers BOTH brands, on the same assembly lines, so one would think both brads were of similar quality…they aren’t. With the Sharp, colors were ‘muted’, and the image appeared “slightly out of focus”. This Hisense, on the other hand, is quite the opposite. Color me impressed.
Moving onto the audio side, the TVs built-in speakers won’t be used, as a soundbar has been set up…but, I did spend some time testing them before setting up the soundbar. The truth is, people don’t expect much from speakers built into TVs. They’ve always been known to be ‘subpar’, and underpowered, and producing “barely ok” quality sound. Surprisingly, the speakers built into the Hisense TV produced sound that was much better than I expected…and, even better, they are NOT ‘underpowered – they can get quite loud (although, admittedly, the sound also becomes slightly distorted at those high volume levels…but, as I already mentioned, this TV will be used with a soundbar). For those not connecting a home theater sound system, or adding a soundbar, the speakers built into the TV will serve you well enough.
As I said, I’m impressed. After the Sharp TV fiasco, knowing that Hisense manufacturers both brands, I wasn’t expecting much. Let’s just say, I’m glad I decided to give Hisense a shot. Sure, it’s not a “high-end” TV…but, it’s also not marketed as such – it’s marketed as a “budget-priced, higher-quality, smart TV”, and I believe Hisense has hit their mark. Images look very good, colors look ‘natural’ (and that’s without the TV being calibrated), and audio quality is better than average. For those looking for “spectacular images, and outstanding audio”, this is not the TV for you. But, for those who want a good image, with realistic-looking color, and audio that’s better than what you’d expect to find on most “budget-priced” TVs, this TV will prove to be a great choice…plus, it won’t cost you an arm & a leg. Put another way, my parents are EXTREMELY happy with it. They’ve been away this past month, and they were aware that I had a ‘surprise’ for them…but, I did not tell them what it was. They returned a couple days ago…and, I can tell you, they haven’t even touched the TV in the bedroom. The Hisense (in the living room) has instantly become their “most watched”.
Disclaimer: This product was provided free, or at reduced cost, for the purpose of reviewing the product. Nevertheless, the above review, be it positive, negative, or anywhere in-between, is a 100% honest review, and the price paid played absolutely no part in my review.Jul 04, 2021 14:51
I originally wanted an LG OLED as my upgrade from an 11yr old 32in Vizio. I had to look long and hard at my options and price was a factor.
It will take me another year to save up for the LG. My old 32in was causing severe eye strain. I couldn’t even enjoy video games anymore. I opted for a large budget friendly 4K that at least had Dolby Vision.
I watched a lot of review videos before deciding on this TV. I am fully aware of what I purchased and it’s a massive upgrade on nearly every level. I’ll be honest though, the remote sucks. It apparently needs a direct line of sight and since my TV is on the ground it’s a lot of point down to switch inputs. Games look amazing as does HD content.
Finally playing PS5 and Xbox in 4K is amazing. Plus I don’t have to sit three feet in front of the screen to see anymore.Aug 02, 2021 18:52
1st off all my previous smart TVs were Roku, so thats the standard. The Android interface seems more plodding, less convenient definitely slower.
The controls are very difficult to find for a specific area. Presets are difficult at best. Do not try to change your mind too quickly or the entire unit does a huge pause, then it reboots.
The biggest disappointment is the viewing angle. For being LED if you're a side angle, roughly 40 degrees, the picture goes onto a yellowish haze & is very difficult to watch.
So far, not my best BB purchase.
It is NOT a user friendly interface with PLEX for those of you that use that streamer much. It's difficult & slow, plus missing a lot of the convenience of the overall app even in comparison to the web version.
I would have to talk to the friend before I'd recommend they purchase.Sep 17, 2021 15:21
I liked the quality of the product, the resolution is very good, surplus tvAug 27, 2021 17:48
We got 2 of these Hisense tvs on sale & finally took them out of the boxes today to be mounted in our home by Geek Squad along with a separate 3rd tv. Justin & Ian were very polite & easy to talk to. We really appreciate the serviceOct 16, 2021 03:52
The price, the quality, the features, so far so good, but I miss Roku Channel, my other Hisense 65 does have it.Aug 27, 2021 15:18
Not bad, a little bulky on the lower half, other than that it’s pretty much perfect for the price. Looks to big about the same width as a 75 inch just not as tall.Nov 05, 2021 17:28
This picture quality is great for the price. It’s a nice tv. The sound quality is great. It was delivered quickly.Nov 06, 2021 12:31

I’ve been with Vizio for as long as I remember but I wanted to try a different model and LG was a match maker it has all the features I was looking for and more I really am happy I decided to get this tv I have actually purchased another one since then for the bedroom I plan to make all my electronics LGNov 13, 2020 18:08
Great TV size, loved all the LG channels. The image was a little too dark for me since I’ve always had Samsung’s. I wish the LG App Store had more variety on options of apps to download and in that way it be more compatible to other TVs around the same price range. The main reason for my exchange to another TV was the lack of some apps I like having and pay monthly subscriptions for. Kind of wish I didn’t have to return it I did like this television and its channels a lot.Jan 22, 2021 19:02
Tv works wonderful and colors are very vivid. So far so good. I got one month with this tv so far and it's daily easy to use. Only dislike the remote out all things. It's too bulky, and got too many buttons I've never touched so it's hard to find the ones you need like the arrows and center confirm button, back button, etc.Feb 06, 2021 15:31
I Love my electronics ever since I found Best Buy I don’t buy my televisions my air fryers what have you ,anywhere else!! First off the service of the delivery man is amazing they’re so nice they carry it up they even helped me and box it laid it over for me on top of the box and then I had them come back again the next day I think or two days later and I had it mounted to the wall with my own mount that I bought at Christmas they were great they were in and out in one 2030 minutes and I also purchased the plan for the year for the geek squad and tech-support instead of paying $199 for the mounting the premium I paid 49.99. I’m already getting my money back. This tv is very nice even if the price had not been perfect,as it was-I still would’ve gotten a great deal and I’m thrilled with the tvJun 12, 2021 11:42
Love this tv , it’s my second one I’ve bought and I love the user interface, , great in bright and dark room and the true motion makes scenes transition nicely. I have had Samsung- hisence and tcl and you get what you pay for . Lg is the best and most durable of all the TVs I’ve owned . the Sound is livable with no need for sound bar but can definitely tell if you add one lol.Jun 25, 2021 16:57
This is a huge tv. I have a 65 inch vizio, and this tv is only 5 inch larger, but it seems so much larger than my 65 inch. Immersive viewing, and gaming on it is just ridiculous. 70 inch tv for $569, and it's an LG. Wow!!! Back then this tv would have be well into the thousands. Could pass this up at all. 65 inch in the bedroom. 70 inch in the living room. "Look ma, i'm on top of the world."May 25, 2021 13:03
I am absolutely loving my new tv . The colors on the tv are very vivid & great & the specs are also excellent! Also I can easily access all my apps with my remote being that the tv I bought is a smart tv . I am thrilled with my purchaseMay 07, 2021 16:32
Excellent service and good quality, I’m very glad with the Best Buy election.Sep 18, 2020 15:57
Watch favorite movies and shows in stunning visual clarity with this 70-inch LG Smart UHD TV. The 4K LCD display delivers detailed images and ensures comfortable viewing from multiple sitting positions, while the quad-core processor improves picture transitions and sharpness. This LG Smart UHD TV features LG ThinQ AI technology to support common virtual assistants.
We purchased this TV for my parents as an overdue upgrade and they absolutely love it!Jun 20, 2020 06:49
I’m upgrading from an 60” inch TV, which was brought into my husband’s man cave. This TV can pretty much do it all. I’ve set up Alexa and Google Assistant on it and they work pretty well. I like the quick access buttons as well. I haven’t been able to really utilize the 4K aspect of it but the the software is notably faster on this TV than my 60”. And the picture is STILL GREAT. I don’t watch cable, just stuff like YouTube, Netflix, Hulu, etc.Jul 26, 2019 17:26
Tv is great magic remote good takes a little time to learn how to navigate all the features. As for the free LG streaming channels great. Picture quality is great just set it for highest quality you shouldn't have any complaints. Just be mindfull some models dont come standard with magic remote. This one does. My only thing was the shopping experience would only buy from best buy as last choice after this.May 22, 2020 23:05
Love this product , would 100% recommend this product. The picture is like if you are in the movie theater , feel like you’re watching it live .May 22, 2020 16:53
70" Smart Tv works great --especially like the Magic remote- much easier to use over other remotes. Everything moves quickly, no waiting when ever you push any of the buttons - the magic Arrow (pointer)thing really works as stated. I have the a cable box but I an able to use just the Magic Remote to run everything. Everything was easy to set up. Only thing I didn't like is when I ask for info about a show or movie I don't get as much info as i did when I used to just use the cable box on the old TV. other than that I am very satisfied. Best Buy also matched the on line price at DELL Great price, thank you DellSep 20, 2019 17:49
After 3 Samsung TV's screen failing, I switched to an LG last year.
70" for a great price and overall value!
Initial set up was easy.
Voice control on remote.
Picture quality is good with multiple settings.
A lot of "LG" channels from the internet (only works when your internet works).
Remote has a mouse-type pointer function which is pretty nice in some situations.
Remote is laid out pretty nice, but it has 2 non-programmable/dedicated buttons for Netflix and Prime (somehow I think that helps LG execs more than me).
It could use 2 more HDMI inputs and possibly 1 more USB.
Remote is rounded at the bottom (same issue as my Samsung).
Channel menu doesn't stay populated after you close it. Every time you access it you have to wait until it re-loads (sometimes is says "No Information" even on local channels).
Multiple steps to select channel in menu.
Sound isn't the greatest. Probably because it's directed to behind the TV (mine sits on a TV stand away from wall).
No function to adjust volume on commercials. Online channels and some movies with commercials have loud volumes.
Remote doesn't have any back-light for primary buttons.
Can't change the screen saver picture.
CPU is slow.
Scrolling up/down the channel menu is poor. It doesn't stay on the same time and bounces around to different times on the menu (ex. 2pm channels and it ends up on 3:30pm channels).
No Google Home!Mar 15, 2020 16:21
Great pic and features still learning the different thing you can with this smart TVSep 07, 2019 23:33
I can't have Spectrum app installed on this TV, google voice does not work.Oct 25, 2019 21:09
Get enhanced smart capabilities with the TU6985. Crystal Processor 4K automatically upscales your favorite movies, TV shows and sports events to 4K. Smart TV powered by Tizen lets you find content and navigate streaming services easily. PurColor fine tunes colors while HDR steps up to millions of shades of color that go beyond what HDTV can offer.
Bought this to replace a Hisense that I bought last year. Excellent picture quality, easy setup, and fast OS. If you are able to catch it during the Black Friday Sale, it’s a very good deal.Oct 22, 2021 20:36
This is our 3rd Samsung TV and it does not disappoint. Setup was easy, tons of free internet channels plus premium channels installed to access hours of entertainment. Game mode is awesome, its not as bright as other brands but it suits well for movies, gaming and more. Plus the price was unbeatable for a 70 inch TvOct 21, 2021 10:55
Love the quality and picture. We bought this at a steal and very happy with our purchase.Oct 20, 2021 11:32
GREAT VALUE! Great picture quality, returned a Insignia to purchase this one and huge diff in picture quality.Oct 22, 2021 07:29
Very nice picture and big enough to fill a small wall.Oct 15, 2021 16:37
My husband loves his new TV ---I love watching the Dawgs play football and the Braves play baseball --Oct 30, 2021 09:42
This TV is awesome. Great size for the price. Very easy to setup and use. Picture is crisp and clear. You will definitely need a sound bar though.Oct 29, 2021 15:53
Tv is wonderful great size amazing price this was a steal don’t hesitate to buyOct 22, 2021 21:51
This 70-inch screen uses quantum dot technology in 4K Ultra HD for vibrant, true-to-life images. Dolby Vision HDR contrasts bright highlights with dark shadows, so you can catch subtle details. Plus, DTS Virtual-X speaker technology delivers life-like sound from your TV. Access live over-the-air channels and streaming—and control it all with your voice. Ask Alexa to launch apps, search for titles and more. The Insignia NS-70F501NA22 70" Class F50 Series QLED 4K UHD Smart Fire TV is ready for an unforgettable night of entertainment.
If you’re looking for a QLED TV that won’t break the bank and delivers a superb picture, this hits the target. Especially if it’s on sale!! But factory picture presets are a bit over the top brightness and color saturation wise. Just tone them down a bit and you’re good to go.
Let’s get to the good stuff right off. Outstanding picture quality for the price. Very bright at the highest backlight setting. Rich vivid colors and excellent color accuracy. Input wise, 4 HDMI, 1 composite video and audio, USB and ethernet. Down firing speakers that sound good with EQ and DTS options and a headphone jack. Also ARC and optical audio out for use with a soundbar. It has a bluetooth remote with Alexa integration that worked perfectly for me. Have security cameras linked to Alexa? This TV will display them! USB in for photos, video and music. The OS is snappy and things load fast. TV has 12GB of RAM for apps, Dolby Vision, DTS, Bluetooth, WiFi. Plenty of settings to adjust to customize picture and sound. See overview and specs listed above for details.
Not only did I compare this TV to my 4K Samsungs which are basic models, I went to Best Buy and some other retailers and looked at what the competition was offering and talked to the sales staff to get their take on brands, features and reliability. From what I found online, supposably Hisense makes TVs for Insignia and Toshiba. That’s not a bad thing. The sales people I talked to spoke favorably of them.
So how does it compare to the TVs costing hundreds to thousands more? Not too bad. Remember, it’s not competing with high end OLED TVs or QLED TVs with backlit screens with a matrix of LED backlights that dim or brighten for a deep HDR picture. But it will get a picture that’s much closer to those than a typical LCD TV.
For those that may not know this, All LCD screens are backlit with LEDs nowadays. Either from the edge or behind. OLED screens are where every pixel is an LED that emits light. LCDs are a light valve that lets the back light shine through.
Unboxing is easy. Do follow the instructions on how to remove the TV from the lower part of the box after you take the top off. It’s in a plastic bag with handles to make it easy. You can mount it on the wall or use the included aluminum feet.
Setup was easy. Once you connect it to the internet it will look for updates and download them and install them before letting you proceed. After that you will need to log into your Amazon account if you have one and set up a profile and log into whatever streaming accounts you have. If you do not have an Amazon account you will need one to use this TV since it is an Amazon Fire TV. Navigating the screen was easy and snappy. Apps loaded fast too. I have 600 mbps fiber internet and an Asus gaming router so that might have something to do with apps loading fast. Your mileage may vary.
First thing you will notice when you get set up and going is this thing is Bright and the Colors are Hot! To the point of being overwhelming. Especially the reds. Like all TVs of late it has several picture presets like Standard, Dynamic, Movie, Game, Natural, PC and Custom. They change picture settings for brightness, contrast, color and other things that would take too long to list here. But I noticed they all were all higher than necessary in the brightness and color saturation department. So I highly recommend you adjust the settings to your liking for brightness, contrast and color. Sharpness will help too. There’s an advanced picture settings menu too. It has settings for things like “debanding”, “Skin Tone” and such. Most seem pretty straight forward to what they do but not all. I searched in vain online for information on what some of these settings do because the manual doesn’t cover them. Maybe they will post it later on.
So yeah, you will need to tweak the picture settings to get the best picture out of this TV. Don’t let that scare you because it’s not that hard to do. Just leave the TInt setting and RGB levels alone. If gray looks purplish or greenish then contact BB as may not be something you can fix yourself by changing settings. My TV is pretty dead on for color balance and yours should be too. Do note that the Color Temperature settings are there to give a warm (think incandescent lighting) or cool (think daylight) look to the picture.
I tested my TV by streaming from Amazon Prime, Hulu, Ruko, Discovery Plus, IMDB and YouTube.
For HDMI input I used Dish Network, Sony UBPX700/M 4K Blu-Ray player I reviewed a while back and an Asus gaming laptop I recently reviewed also.
For the average person it all looks Great! For the more discerning person the Sony Blu-Ray with a 4K disc will provide the absolute best picture quality. Especially if your Blu-Ray player has Dolby Vision.
I literally synced up Alien on Prime in 4K and 4K Blu-Ray I have of the movie. The Blu-Ray won as expected. Better color, lighting and detail. Yes, it was noticeable but not night and day. Next up was the Blu-Ray of The Last Jedi in FHD. Not sure if the player or TV upscaled it but it looked great. Also keep in mind that streaming services do vary in picture quality. I didn’t notice any lag that some other reported. See photos of Blu-Ray Stills.
Lastly I connected my laptop to see how it looked and attempted to use my color spyder to color calibrate the screen. Even after I set the picture settings to comply with the calibration software the TV would switch to the Game preset automatically no matter what I set the picture preset to and I found no way to disable it from doing it. That made it impossible to do a color calibration and check the TV’s color gamut. All TVs have a service or setup mode for techs and I probably could have hunted online how to get into it and to run the calibration but that’s beyond the scope of my review.
I also took a photo of the TV with my thermal camera to show where it’s warmest. The devices below the TV are a Dish Joy and the Sony Blu-ray. As you can see in the photo the TV is lit from the bottom. The specs say back lit too but the thermal camera doesn’t quite confirm that. So draw your own conclusions there.
Note: All photos taken with a Canon EOS R and not a smartphone. Except FLIR.
Conclusion: I highly recommend this TV.Aug 31, 2021 23:21
The Insignia 55-inch QLED Smart Fire TV has an excellent picture quality along with some pretty helpful features for a connected smart home. The integration with Alexa and Amazon's many services is outstanding - with very little initial time spent setting that part of the TV up. But, wow - this TV is BRIGHT! Right out of the box, the TV's picture almost seemed distorted because it was nearly blindingly bright - but, that is easily managed through settings. This is my first Fire TV and I seem to learn more each time I use it.
- Great picture, once adjusted for your viewing preferences; my family likes it in Movie (Dark) mode to counterbalance the very bright initial setting
- Intuitive and relatively straightforward set up for most apps
- A whole host of available apps (I believe Android-based)
- Outstanding remote with Alexa button built in
- Instantaneous Alexa and Works-with-Alexa functionality for all devices connected to your Amazon/Alexa account
-- Side note: if you use Ring Video Cameras in your smart home --
you will LOVE how easily you can pull up any of the cameras
connected to Alexa. This is perhaps one of my favorite features
- Rich sound from the built-in speakers, including virtual surround sound and ARC support for a sound bar.
- 4K QLED (not quite OLED) picture with little - if any - stuttering on the majority of channels (see con below re: older, non-4k video)
- Nearly frameless bezel; in a darkened room, it almost looks like the picture is floating
- Packaging: the first TV arrived totally destroyed. I don't fault Insignia or Best Buy for this ... it would appear the delivery company did not handle the box well. When the first TV arrived, there were literally pieces of the box and parts of the TV screen falling out of the mangled box: Recommendation: have Best Buy install it (or deliver it) or pick it up yourself as the packaging seemingly cannot handle the everyday parcel services and the way they toss boxes around like basketballs.
- There is a bit of lag when starting up and some apps are slow to launch. Be prepared for software updates and a lot of waiting...
- We've experienced a few lock-ups with the TV which seem to resolve themselves (the TV just reboots itself)
- On older channels and standard definition DVDs, there is a bit of stuttering with the picture. It's barely noticeable to some, but can be a bit of an annoyance
- A small, but notable design issue: the power cord plugs in at the bottom left of the back of the TV (when facing the back) and is not only very awkward to get plugged in by pushing it up into the socket, but it's fallen out of the power socket a few times. a better design would be a flattened "L" shaped power cord as found on other brands.
Overall, I give this TV a thumbs up. The screen clarity and ultra-4k clarity are breathtaking once you've set the display to settings you like. Sound is well-above average for a TV at this price point. The Alexa/Amazon integration is absolutely fantastic. I would - and do - recommend this product and am already considering a second for our den.Aug 29, 2021 03:52
The F50 is Insignia’s first time competing in the Quantum Dot/QLED arena. For those unfamiliar with the terminology, QLED is just another way of saying mid-tier 4K TV with increased color depth. On paper, this TV seems like an uncontested winner. Unfortunately, it struggles to produce a satisfying picture consistently. Luckily, the F50 finds redemption in other features and in the execution of those features. As an owner of another Quantum Dot television, I benefitted from having a similar device to compare it against. Below are my findings.
• Intuitive Interface: The F50 gives a quick response to my remote selections and toggles between menus with ease. I’ve had navigational problems where there is severe lag or “freezing”, but so far there have been no issues with accomplishing basic to advanced tasks. Furthermore, I found my experience with the Amazon Alexa app to be useful in giving feedback and presenting information onto my screen.
• Great Sound: Natively, the television speakers provide great audio through the DTS Virtual-X Sound. No complaints.
• eArc: This is a major win for Insignia for those who own or wish to invest in a high-quality sound setup. I use this television with a soundbar, subwoofer, and speakers which makes for a pleasurable experience.
• Screen Mirroring/MiraCast: Most TVs will have some type of casting technology implemented. As a long time user of SmartCast, I very much prefer MiraCast for projecting my device’s screen onto my display whether it’s my phone or computer.
• Ample Amount of Storage Space: The FireTV Operating System (OS) doesn’t hog many resources on the initial setup or even after updating. After installing apps, I still had 9 GBs of free space available with the option to add additional space via USB.
• Bluetooth Functionality/Headphone Jack: I’m still surprised by the number of products released annually that lack Bluetooth capabilities. I own several gaming devices which makes it awesome that I can connect wirelessly to stream the audio from the television directly to my headset. What’s even better is that I still have the ability to use a hard-wired connection for listening if I so choose.
Extra HDMI Input: One of the biggest complaints from television consumers is the lack of “extra” HDMI ports. The products I currently own are an example of why three HDMI ports don’t work. I have a soundbar, 4 gaming consoles/devices, cable TV, and a laptop that could benefit from a wired connection depending on the task. It can be a hassle unplugging and re-plugging devices.
• Colors Can Be Over-Saturated Too Much: To be fair, the product description does highlight that the colors are heavily saturated. Media can sometimes look artificial or as if a paint bucket was accidentally tipped over.
• Poor preset picture modes: Because certain colors can be overpowering at moments, I had to resort to toggling between different preset modes. Picture modes are designed to compliment the type of content being viewed. I found myself switching modes to fix one issue, but this would inadvertently introduce another problem. The most common problem is when watching video that transitions scenes from day to night. The sunny scenes usually aren’t bright enough and the evening scenes are often too dark to where I can’t make out what’s happening on the screen.
• Calibration is a must: I wish this TV was more of a plug-n-play device, but it’s not. It takes work to adjust the picture settings which could still lead to disappointing results in the long run.
The Insignia QLED F50 is a good tv, but should never be your main TV. Out of the box, every mode needs to be calibrated. No owner wants to spend time doing tedious work after spending hundreds of dollars on a major purchase. I rated the Insignia F50 3 stars because image presentation is major for any television and this can fall short sometimes. So why would recommend a TV that I myself only gave 3 stars?
1. The Insignia F50 still produces stunning color. There are times when I witnessed vivid scenes filled with rich colors and thought to myself “this is pretty awesome”. It will still outperform any regular 4K TV by miles. The amount of content available in native 4K with HDR is still growing so much of the media we all view is still not in Ultra High Def (UHD). Also, the Insignia F50 dramatically improves Standard Definition (SD) and regular High Definition (HD) as it should.
2. The TV has several features that my existing QLED TV doesn’t possess such as Bluetooth functionality, eArc, MiraCast, ability to add apps, and expandable storage space. I am also aware that some of these same features may not all be included in other QLED TVs as well which is an advantage.
3. It’s versatile. Do you want to listen with wired headphones or wireless earbuds? Would you like to download that same app from your phone/tablet onto the FireTV, stream it directly from your device, or just use MiraCast to show the entire screen? Would you like to just connect with a cable using that 4th HDMI input that you’ll probably have available? Connecting equipment and staying connected shouldn’t be a problem.
Overall, the F50 captures me more with what it can do rather than the things I wished it did better.Aug 24, 2021 20:05
We love this TV it has a great image my son loves to play his ps5 because the graphics on this tv.Nov 08, 2021 20:14
I love it
It looks and sounds amazing!!!
Great qualityNov 05, 2021 17:01
Right away, you see the brightness and the colors out the box for me were just right, no adjustment needed.
Setup - Easy. Very self explanatory. Any updates are done right away. The remote has the main Apps you watch for movies, finally lol a personal preference of mine.
If you like using Alexa, the TV will be fun. I don’t use Alexa but it’s definitely convenient. I was able to sign in with no problem thru the TV with my Amazon account. If you have a FireStick then of course you use that.
Sound - I have a Yamaha sound bar and I connected it using a HDMI to the 1 ARC and it’s like they belong together, because the connection was flawless. In the past I would have to turn on the sound bar separately. Prior to connecting the sound bar, the TV speakers are decent enough for clarity with some bass but most TVs, it’s good to use a sound bar for that extra thump but if you don’t have one, the sound is loud enough.
Display - Colors are perfect. To me they are not over saturated. They have a nice warm but bright look. Red is Red.
Side viewing - The colors fade just a little, like it’s not as solid BUT the screen is still great for viewing. You don’t have to be in the middle to see solid colors. Mostly when I was on the floor watching looking up, that’s where I noticed the fading but at even levels no fading. Good with distance too.
Bezel - The Black bezel is perfect. It blends right in, like a stealthy look. Can’t believe I never had a TV with the black bezel, well I never paid attention to that. This is a must from now on.
Media - I have Apple TV and I have the latest model and right away, it recognizes the Dolby Vision and yes you can see the difference. It does look 4K still but the Q-LED experience/difference for me is the warmth and colors seem a little more richer. In the past, I did have a (2016 Model) Vizio P55-C1 and that was/is a beautiful TV. I will say the Blacks are a little darker vs the Insignia but this Insignia is a great replacement.
Overall, great TV. Comes on quick, no flickering, easy setup and in the future, I can’t wait to try some gaming! Without overly comparing, this Q-led is great with 4K HUD movies. Netflix, Disney, Apple TV+ movies are advertised as they should be. I also have a LG Ultra HD Blu-ray player.
Thank you Insignia.Aug 31, 2021 11:05
Out of the box the TV for the price was fine however we have 4K channels and tonight was the first time using one and the color for 4K is dark and looks greyish.
Not sure if anyone else has experienced this but I am def not happy with this being a 4K QLED I was hoping to take full advantage of the 4K feature and I cannot. I will be going to the store tomorrow to see if this is expected or if the tv is messed up.
In the images attached the commercial is a regular commercial and the baseball game is using 4K channelOct 19, 2021 19:39

So far the TV has been pretty amazing. Only thing we have noticed so far is the lip sync will get whacked out once and a while and require you to power off the tv.Jul 05, 2021 18:13
Got a new house & needed another tv, so I purchased my 2nd Vizio. Still impressed by this company...love the size & great picture! I don't know about the sound, as i use stereo receivers/speakers, but I'm sure they're good also.Oct 22, 2021 16:00

If i had know about the channels that come with a Samsung TV i would have bought one long ago. How awesome is that. Plus the TV performs perfectly. Fits great in our living room.Jun 12, 2020 16:47
Bought brand new and only had 3 days before the screen went black. The 5 red flashes meant is it was internal damage. I told the truck drivers to slow down and weren't careful. I couldn't get my replacement until a week later.Apr 24, 2020 16:26
Had this TV for almost 2 years now. It's a TV that looks nice, sounds nice, and is a smart TV. My pictures look clear, it responsds well to me switching in and out with streaming app. I watch a lot on the TV and the only irritating thing that has happened is when YouTube freaks out and lags my TV, but a quick reboot does the job. Love that it has 2 HDMIs and screen mirroring. Overall, great TV.Aug 12, 2021 20:34
I love my tv until it started showing a darker side of the screen. Good thing i had for the warranty cause with in the 1st year to be exact the screen started going to a dark screen on the right sideOct 15, 2021 11:31
Brought this tv home June 30th and put it up July 6th by July 16th there was a black cloud over the top of the screen that couldn’t be corrected by any setting changes or updates, the tv itself was flawed. I went back to Best Buy and since I did not buy the geek squad warranty and it was outside of The 15 day return policy Best Buy could do Nothing to help me. I am not impressed with Best Buy and will not be returning online or in store, the lack of any attempt to even help in the slightest to make this situation right was just mind blowing, spending $600 on something and you get zero customer service.Jul 24, 2020 20:14
Goodafter, I got my TV last Dec 2020, not even a year. and it’s not working anymore. I don’t have an insurance protection.Aug 10, 2021 13:16
Great TV. Purchased this one for a conference room. Love the smart TV features, streams the Samsung free TV, I run a PC through this, and also have a camera hooked up to it for web meetings. I prefer Samsung at home, and this one has been a great TV in the office so far.Mar 26, 2021 16:01
Works perfectly with my Amazon Alexa using smart things to control it I even use with my computerNov 06, 2020 15:44
70" Class H65 Series LED 4K UHD Smart Android TV
I bought this TV on a Black Friday special for $399 and for an entry level 4K Tv, it had an amazingly clear picture. I only had to make a slight change from “Energy Saving” mode to “Standard” mode on the TV which made the picture even clearer. I have been watching NFL football and the picture adapts well to the players motion. Some reviews have complained about a lag in scenes with a lot of movement. The only time I saw a very slight lag was perhaps in a closeup angle scene during a game but this was negligible in standard mode.
Setup was easy to follow. The only real issue I have faced is using the USB. I have videos stored on USB and they loaded ok. The problem I faced was when I tried to go back to look at the videos at a later time, I would have to eject and reinsert the USB to view videos. The USB drive was not identified on the input function on the TV unless it was reinserted. I decided just to use the USB port on my DVD player so it is not a major complaint.
I was really impressed with how east was was able to sync my Onkyo receiver to the TV though there was still a learning curve. I still have to use separate remotes for the cable box ( I haven’t learned if there is a way out of this yet). But the TV remote handles everything else. If you have a receiver, you will have to read how to configure the ARC system, but once that is done, it works very well.
Another nice feature is to be able to use your Goggle photos and sync it to the TV. It is nice being able to view your photos on the TV.
All in all, for the price, this is an excellent product. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars was due to the USB issue but that is my only complaint.Nov 22, 2020 17:00
I got this during the black friday sale and let me just say, it’s amazing. I have a vizio 70” and in comparison this Tv is BIGGER which i didn’t believe until i looked up the dimensions of both. The remote is the only problem, sometimes it won’t work until i take the battery out and place it back in but other than that, Perfect TvDec 16, 2020 08:00
Can’t beat the features and size for the price. I have 2 other Hisense branded TVs in my house, and they haven’t let me down. This is the first one with AndroidTV. Not bad at all. I will say that the RokuTV interface seems to be a little snappier on my other Hisense, but at least AndroidTV doesn’t have any ads on the homepage. I placed this in my room and it looks huge. Picture, especially content in HDR, is nice and clear especially if you go in and customize settings to your liking. Sound is good but I connected it to a big Sony speaker via Bluetooth and it rocks. I intend to keep it for a long time. Best of all is the price; won’t break the bank. Buy it!Nov 10, 2020 10:10
I must say as opposed to for five years ago in the same TV would have cost 3 or $4,000 this actually I'm very picky with my technology and for the price in the size of the TV at offered everything I wanted to offer HDR Bluetooth it's 4K I mean you can't beat it that's greatJan 17, 2021 08:31
I’m a fan! I’m a die hard Sony TV guy but couldn’t resist to review what a 70” under $650 could get you. Well... in my humble opinion - it gets you a great TV. You can’t go wrong with this choice. Is it OLED? no but it isn’t a 65” $1900-$2200 either. So cost to what you get ratio is great!
You have to change a few settings to get the color to “your personal preference”. Default is good enough but play with the “active contrast” per each “picture setting”. As in; vivid, standard, theater day/night, Dolby Vision etc. Mygoal was to make sure the black was smooth in motion. One easy trick is to YouTube “The Voice” in 4K. As the camera moves around it has lot of black background because of the stage set. Adjust so the black is solid so you don’t see the harsh/jagged grey to black in the motion.
Built in sound is good as well. I have an AV system but if I didn’t I wouldn’t be in a rush for an upgrade.
Dolby Vision is a plus+. You can see HDR/high contrast scenes/movies like John Wick clearly. Not too dark. Simple put... eye opener type stuff. If you have an xbox test the Dolby Vision with the samples it provides.
Remote has a good feel and intuitive. Menu is the same.
Operating system is quick. No delays I could point out.
I’m buying the 2-year Best Buy warranty. I do that on most TVs so it’s not a knock on HiSense.
As you can read. Again I’m a fan! It’s a keeper. I’ll try to add a review update in 6 months. Hope this helps.Mar 02, 2021 06:25
Great buy. Good quality and very fast on smart TV end! Highly recommend!Oct 25, 2020 23:34

This is a fairly large TV with all of the feature you would want listed on it's spec sheet. However, in actual practice, this TV fails to deliver on many of the promises.
First of, this is a large set at 70". I was able to completely set it up myself, but the aid of a second person would have made things MUCH easier. It's not overly heavy, but awkward in size.
I love the stand. It is capable of adjusting in height to accommodate a soundbar very nicely. It can also be lowered down from where I set mine for a more slick and minima look. It is made of rubber to support reverberation from the sound of the soundbar.
There are plenty of ports, the HDMI 1 port being eARC for audio passthrough. I had issue with eARC failing when I initially set up the TV which made me choose to use an optical cable. I eventually "restarted" the TV and eARC has been perfect since.
The overall picture quality is decent, I adjusted brightness, white balance, etc... calibrating the display to my likeness. Once done, I found the color to be fairly accurate, though not 100%, but extremely satisfying and acceptable. I chose to leave the local dimming feature on and set to "high". Despite only having 30 zones, I found the black levels to be pretty good, yet there is visible halo effect around white text on black background. Overall, I also felt this to be acceptable, but certainly falls into the "average" category here, where most other units, even in this category, offer many, many more zones for a more complete and universal black. The TV really sines with 4k content, but produces a pretty good 1080p image as well and the image remains fairly crisp and clear. Where this TV falls apart are two very important aspects. The first is the viewing angle. This TV is horrendous at viewing angle, or should I say, lack there of. Unless viewing dead on, any angle, even slight, absolutely destroys the picture quality. It is impossible to view this with anything remotely considered a 'good" picture from any angle at all. The second major failure is HDR. This TV with its terrible 30 local dimming zones really hurts the display I this area. Detailed parts of the picture fail to properly "pop" and the HDR effect is more or less non existent on this set. Which is a shame given the support for both Dolby Vision and HDR10. I almost feel like this setting is the same turned on or off. The brigntness of this TV is not high enough to support the way HDR is intended to operate. Consider HDR and any viewing angle spec strikes out and as they won't matter here.
Gaming is also nice on this set. This TV has extremely low input lag and the VRR features via AMD free sync is very well executed. Games respond quick and feel extremely realistic on this set. Despite the poor HDR, this is a perfect TV for gamers looking for size on a budget.
Finally the smart interface on this TV is ok. It gets the job done, fairly easy to navigate and has all the apps most people will want. You can "cast" to it or AirPlay, both extremely welcomed and valuable feature. Apple TV+ app is also extremely welcomed. The issue is performance, the operation is laggy and often annoying. I chose to use alternative streaming boxes externally connected to mine to solve this problem as the built in interface was unacceptable to me. Easy to solve, bu worth noting none the less.
I also consider the internal speakers to be garbage. They get the job done, but sound terrible, lack range and fidelity, and unless you could care less about sound, should be disabled and alternatives be used.
All in all, this is a decent budget TV if you care about size and decent SDR picture quality. If you care about HDR, or viewing angles, look elsewhere.Sep 18, 2021 16:22
Excellent tv. Replaced a 65 in v series. Picture is very clear. Color needs some fine tuning esp when watching football. The feet are low and my Polk soundbar blocked bottom of the screen.Oct 17, 2021 19:57
This television is perfect. It’s everything I need in a television I could not ask for anything better.Sep 02, 2021 20:20
The overall picture is clear and great. Previously was using a Vizio V series 4k 65" in the living roomfor a little over three years. Decided to upgrade with to the M series 75" qled 4k. The price point was pretty good as I got it on sell for about 200 off. After two weeks of using the tv to stream/ smart cast, game, and watch TV IM very pleased with 95% of my experience so far. I use a ps4 pro fir gaming and the 4k picture is outstanding with little to no noticeable graphics drag. I use a dish network box for everyday TV and the picture is also out standing, the only noticeable lag in picture quality is whean watching animations or slower frame rates .(not necessarily the TVs fault) Now when streaming/smart casting is where I have run into some issues, it has mainly been apps not loading or loading and then freezing. I suspect this clould be partly my internet speeds(1gig) and the amount of devices running on the network. Rebooting the Tv from the settings menu seemed to help with the issue, one reset has worked for over two weeks so only time will tell. Additionally I paired this Tv with the vizio Mseries surround system and hihly recommend for gaming, movies and everyday use.Oct 17, 2021 21:59
The picture is terrific which the full array backlighting helps with. It does take a few seconds for the picture to show up on the screen. The main problem seems to be the connection to the internet which sometimes, but not always, says you have no internet connection. Going into settings and starting to put in the wifi password the picture comes in like you had no problem in the first place. This is the only reason I gave it a 4 star rating. I have the sound hooked up to a sound bar so I haven't really checked the sound from the TV itself.Oct 16, 2021 11:27
Overall, this TV is pretty great. The picture, even using antenna stations, looks great. The downsides are the remote and the closed captioning. The remote is minimal and it makes it hard to swap out different sections, like Hulu to Roku to antenna. And closed captioning put the captions towards the top of the screen, this blocking the picture. Super frustrating.Oct 16, 2021 23:11
My first Vizio, 70in .beautiful picture quality, 4 HDMI inputs, easy setup, love the free channels,Aug 14, 2021 22:00
Very happy with our new 70" Vizio TV. We moved our exisiting, smaller Vizio TV to another room and this new Vizio is in the 'TV room'. Very satisfied with the ease of use and clarity. Especially happy with the installation work of the Geek Squad members who did the installation (it's wall mounted).Oct 29, 2021 21:11

2nd Lg UN7070 the same took it back
3rd was a Sharp that I was replacing to being with took it back the next day
The Vizio M7 Series Amazing
Best TV under $800 don’t do what I did ,buy the Vizio !Nov 22, 2020 20:56
Better than the V series that’s for sure. Not much of a Picture difference but you can tell. Same TV parts , same Remote and TV border just for lighting zones but really does make a difference.Dec 16, 2020 00:18
I love this tv I grabbed it when it first came out it took me till now to get my xbox but I got it finally and now I could say I do get 120 hz at 1080p 60 hz at 4k hdr I am very happy I was a little worried about it saying 60 hz but everything worked out picture quality with movies is awesome I have a dolby atmos sound bar with the tv it looks and sounds great I would definitely recommend this to everyoneDec 25, 2020 21:58
Absolutely love this Tv it was a wonderful addition to my home... This is my 3rd Vizio. Really don't need to say anymore than that!Jan 15, 2021 16:34
This is just a great looking tv. I got it yesterday, spent a bit of time calibrating it (I still have a Disney WOW disc that I use w/ the Blue gel) and honestly it looks killer. Picture quality out of the box was fairly accurate, so didn't take much.
People on every site keep whinging about dimming zones and whatnot, stop reading too much into it. It's got even brightness, the blacks are black, the whites are white, the colors are vibrant.
Note: I don't use the interface. I don't use the speakers. I have an NVIDIA shield TV running into an AV receiver that handles all of my upscaling and apps, so it's basically a dumb monitor for me. For $650 you can't beat the price. If you don't like the interface and it's slow just get a roku, chromecast, fire stick, or SHIELD and don't worry about it.Nov 25, 2020 18:53
I order the television for my great room. Vizio did not disappoint.Feb 08, 2021 22:27
I Love the Tv, But its the Geek Squd installation I'm not happy with. Mounted my TV and its leaning and i paid $200Nov 06, 2021 14:17
Nice quality, very bright. Tv looks sleek. Do yourself a favor and get a sound bar dont even waste your time on the stock speakersJan 29, 2021 15:58

4k 2160p 60fps with rt. Game engine looks great . Very satisfied with the purchase . The whole family really enjoys using it. About to purchase another one for upstairs.Apr 09, 2021 23:12
Absolutely love this tv! Love that I can control it from my iPhone when I’m not at home I can shut it off or change the outputs.Jan 15, 2021 14:56
Hard to access new apps but the ones in your list. Need spectrum app and a few others. And the apple stuff I didn't need. There are not enough usb plus only three I thought it said four. And for a vizio the color isn't as good as I thought it would be compared to my other Vizio's. It doesn't seem to have the ultra 4k hd quality compared to the other tvs I have.Dec 19, 2020 10:59

TV not working properly less than 30 days. Best Buy was no support- pulling teeth to get through to Samsung for repair- still ongoing. Do NOT purchase!Sep 24, 2021 15:54
the main reason why I paid more for this TV was to get the "business" app and manage the content on the app. Well, it just doesn't work. Based on the description I thought I would be able to create and manage my display from the app instead of having to have a computer connected to the TV. Huge disappointment. That is just not working. I would not recommend this product.Apr 14, 2021 18:28
Bought two of these for our lobby and they are working great and look great.
The first two I bought were lost in transit but after a month of waiting I finally got these and all is right with my little world.
Samsung makes a great product and these are great!Oct 14, 2021 12:58
