    Previous Ram Went Bad

My Dell desktop was running slower & slower. I ran a systems check and it came back the the ram needed replaced. The computer was about 2 years old. I did a price check with several online vendors and Best Buy was right there on price and everyone had to ship these. Ordered from Best Buy got it in a couple of days and it made all the difference in the world.

    Make your Prebuilt Fly

Got my CyberMonday HP I-5 10th Gen. with 8GB RAM on purpose to take Advantage of “loss leader” prices $ . The PNY DDR4 is perfect match for it. 16GB is more than Enough for Win10/64. Makes multi-tasking easier. Proprietary parts make major Upgrades a challenge. Still. SSD drive makes the combo of more RAM even more efficient. As does the GT1030. (Not super gamer) but still a major improvement over onboard....

All you need to do is install the operating system that you're going to use onto the micro SD card; connect your keyboard, mouse, and monitor(s); and power it up. Daughter Happy nuff said!

Bought this laptop for my daughter. Honestly, I am not familiar with MacBooks. But she is and she really loves it. According to her, she loves the touch slide bar and how easy it is for her to use. Also, it is compatible with her IPhone. She uses it for school and for her personal stuff like her artwork. For being a Pre-owned, the price was right and it had no issues. Felt like I got lucky and I did!

Surprisingly better than standard 3200mhz memory

Very good ram! I went from just the low profile vengeance lpx to the rgb pros and it made a big difference in FPS (about 35-40fps gain) and I never expected memory to Boost frames, but it does! Make sure xmp is turned on for best performance. The only thing I hated was the icue app that messed up the updates and I was stuck with one rainbow and one red which was annoying but did not affect performance just the rgb lighting. Had to delete app and reinstall it. Fixed that problem.

    How's the RGB?

Pretty good. Corsair makes pretty good memory sticks so quality and performance is standard as you'd expect but let's be real you buy this for the RGB. If you are going for a Corsair build or using Corsair fan/software they look really really noce. Check your CPU cooler for clearance though, kinda tall.

The Corsair app isn't the greatest, but that's really insignificant IMO. MSI MOBO is able to sync the RGB with Razer.

    Great for multitasking

I love these, originally had a 8GB Ram stick and my motherboard. I bought a pair of these RBG light Rams sticks, 2x8 to make 16GB in my computer. And my computer started doing a lot more so I came back to get another pair. And now have a total of 4 Ram sticks and my son loves the colors. My Computer is much faster now.

I run the same ram in my PC as well but higher clock speed is upspeed they both work perfectly quickly my original purchase from my PCs ram is what compelled me to buy these for my daughters pc.

SL 16GB - Good Amount of Ram

Good product, If you want RGB inside your PC and wont use a big Air CPU cooler , this will be a good product for you.

I decided to change the air cooler for a bigger one and it was kinda hard to fit the memories but at the end it worked, just be aware of sizes.

Regarding speed , I don't play high end games , I used this to upgrade my old PC that will be for the living room, Perfect to watch movies in Netflix or other streamer plus some YouTube videos.

    Perfect for a Corsair build

Goes perfectly with an all Corsair build. Instantly recognized in iCue software and pairs well with QL 120’s or CL 120 fans. 3600mhz is the sweet spot for speeds. Also worth noting this is the updated SL version which are slightly less taller for a better clearance if air cooling.

    Great product!

Everything you need (except monitor, keyboard and mouse) to get your PI 4 up and running in style. And...the PI 4 is a delight. I'm using mine to run two huge monitors and using the set-up for work. I use Thinlinx as the operating system to connect to a VM at work. It works perfectly. The CanaKit made it easy to set up.

    A Computer For Everyone

This little computer is the greatest thing that's happened to computing in a good while. Since I got this setup and running, I've pretty much abandoned my Windows 10 HP laptop. Not only does this device boots fast and runs virtually silent but, here I'm learning Linux and Java programming which came free with my Pi. Anyway, just to mention that I became MCSE certified when I first got into computers but kinda lost interest over the years. This little Pi has renewed my interest; now I'm thinking to go for the Linux certification. Awesome product guys and ladies. Now anybody, any child or student can learn Information Technology because some great minds came together and put together the Raspberry Pi; a very good, capable, functional and affordable computer.

    CanaKit Raspberry PI

I purchased this kit to experiment with a Raspberry Pi. The Raspberry Pi is a small complete computer running Linux. This kit took about 10 minutes to assemble. It does not have a mouse or keyboard, so connected a wireless mouse and keyboard I had at home. I used the included HDMI cable to connect to a monitor. The computer took about 15 minutes to initially load Linux from the included smartcard. I connected it to my SmartTV and it connected at 3840x2160 resolution. The internet connection on it is 10 MBPS.

Great product and packs a punch for such a minimal PCB. Running Retropie on top of Raspian and it does really well with most legacy consoles. Great buy. I do recommend getting a higher capacity SD card (ie 500gb) if you want all your roms to reside on a single card. Also a good product to learn Linux on.

Interesting single board computer for projects

The Raspberry Pi is a versatile little single board computer. It supports 4k video and has enough ports to connect it to typical desktop peripherals. As a single board computer, it also has gpio pins which provide an interface to a large number of sensors and other devices which can be controlled by the pi. This particular model has 8gb of RAM, so running a full version of the pi port of Ubuntu Linux works quite well.

Handy hobby computer, I like to have extra around

I've purchased several of these Raspberry Pi 4 Starter Pro Kits as I keep finding small projects to utilize them with.

This kit in particular has the 8GB version of the Raspberry Pi 4. It comes with a 32 GB microSD card. What makes this a complete kit is the case, cooling fan, power supply, 3 heat sinks, micro HDMI cable and power switch. While there are other kits that may include higher microSD storage capacity or an additional micro HDMI cable, I really don't need it. This kit hits the sweet spot in terms of price per accessories.

MicroSD cards can be found cheaper and after having one or two projects that don't need a monitor, I have a few spare micro HDMI cables now.

I've used one of these kits for an OctoPi for running my 3D printer. I have another one being used as my family calendar. I plan another project for a photo frame.

I like that there is a strong community of projects that I can utilize and oftentimes not have to develop my own code. There have been a few projects where I've developed my own code and the Raspberry Pi kit has plenty of flexibility to accommodate whatever size project I need.

I've looked at a few retailers and most of them can't seem to keep a Raspberry Pi 4 - 8GB in stock. I've been able to order these at Best Buy when I need them without any problems. I will likely order more from Best Buy just to keep them around for when I need to jump on another project.

Good kit in stock, powerful little machine

I bought this kit alongside a 64GB A2 microSD card.

I chose this kit because of the 8GB Raspberry Pi 4 and because it was cheaper even though it contains things I did not need.

Most other places had either no stock or very high prices for a plain Raspberry Pi 4, let alone the 8GB version.

I currently have piHole and HomeAssistant installed, alongside raspotify connected to an AUX speaker and a folder shared in the network as a media library.

    Best Pi yet!

I've been a Raspberry Pi fan since version 2 and this one is excellent. It might be overkill, but this is going to be in a full retro arcade build. However, I've been playing with it as a "desktop" and it performs quite well in that respect. I might get another to make into a media station since my old 3 is struggling. You do need to have the tinker bug inside you to really enjoy these things, but it's a great low-cost way to get your kids into more than just mouse clicking and watching YouTube.

I've used Corsair on my last several builds (and upgrades) now. This is just good, solid memory you can trust to perform decently at a good price.

No LEDs, though I believe they have other SKUs with it if you're looking for lights. If you just want dependable memory you don't have to worry about, though, this is the stuff.

Runs well, XMP 2.0 support varies

This is CL18 RAM, which I expect for the price. Unfortunately, this model is not on the QVL for a lot of more modern Intel boards, despite the Intel logo on the box, and the support of XMP 2.0, etc.

As a result, don't rely on this to work 100% without any tinkering. 3600 MT/s RAM is not very standard, so that's somewhat assumed, but it is no walk in the park to get an Intel memory controller to pick up the pair I received; like most things with electronics, your mileage will vary.

If you want fast and stable RAM, I always suggest Corsair, but ultimately the setup side is not up to Corsair alone, it is also based on your motherboard manufacturer's setup of the board, and the UEFI provider's approach.

If you just plug this in and want it to run at stock speeds, it does that very well, and if you can find it at a deep enough discount, that may be the best approach for this kit if you want a stable result with minimal fuss. If you want to run it at top speed easily, this isn't the kit for you.

Low Profile Xtreme Memory LPX-3600 DDR4

Got these on sale. Got these LPX for their low profile. I run my processor with a DH-15 cooler which is huge and can limit the size of memory you can use because of height limitation. Not into RGB so it was a perfect fit.

Can't complain. Work as stated on the box. Bought (2) sets for 32 MB total.

XMP setting worked without a hitch. Could not fine tune Dram setting to go any faster. These have very tight timings.

Great Memory, No Issues, Pretty RGB

I purchased this memory on a bit of a whim because I had returned another unrelated item and this was on sale.

I've always wanted RGB RAM even though I know there is no real benefit to it, but this was an upgrade of my 8GB of slower RAM. Capable of doing 3000 MHz, I thought it might bump up my FPS slightly but more so, I was hoping it would help with some multitasking I've been doing.

All-in-all, it was a great purchase and I'm happy. However, I made the stupid mistake of NOT checking that my motherboard supports 3000 MHz RAM (and it doesn't), so it's not running at full speed.

Still, it's been great and was super-easy to install!

Good ram, but make sure your cpu supports it.

Definitely fast ram, be aware though even though it says "AMD Optimized" that doesn't really mean anything and in fact if you aren't pairing these with a new Ryzen 5000 series chip you will not be able to run the rated 4000mhz oc stably. I got 2 of these kits and now am running them at a stable 3800mhz at the recommended timings of 18-22-22-42 with my 3700x which is still plenty of speed for games and it runs great. If you have a 3rd gen Ryzen cpu though I recommend just getting a 3600mhz cl16 kit it will be a bit faster.

    Oh the RAM

When I purchased these sticks of RAM I was kind of disappointed because I thought they were a bit expensive they came out to $133 with tax included but seeing how the price for RAM had increase I don't regret it and they have been working well that I want to buy another pack of 16Gbs (2 sticks of 8Gbs). I use my PC for gaming, coding and watch a lot of videos/movies and it runs amazingly well (2933 MHz). So if the price ever goes down again don't think twice about it.

    My PC info:

    MB: X370 Gaming Plus

    CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600x

    Best upgrade for gaming!!!

So, I have an Alienware Aurora R7 which originally came with an i5 8400, GTX 1070, and 8GB RAM. This set up is a beast for 1080p gaming at maxed out settings for most games, but I play the Assassins Creed Series and we all know those games are CPU heavy. The i5 8400 should be enough to run this game smoothly over 60fps, but this wasn't the case with AC Origins and AC Odyssey. They game would lag and stutter too much and my FPS would be at around 57. So I upgraded my GPU to the RTX 2070 Super, but I got the same results. This can't be happening! I said, but after doing more research I found out that these games require more than 8GB of RAM. I decided to go with this product and BOOM!!! My games are now so smooth, no stutter, higher FPS...I am so satisfied. No issues with compatibility. 5 stars isn't enough :)

In the pics you can see benchmarks before and after, and also ingame performance.

    Great performance

The computer I bought only came with 8 GB. I did the math and it was more worth it to buy the 8GB computer and get the extra ram separately than it was to buy a similar model PC that already had the 16GB. I played a few games on the stock ram before I put the new sticks in and what a huge difference it made in performance. So glad I got them when I got the PC.

    Good budget memory

The only reason I bought these was for the price at the time. I picked up a ryzen 5 3600x and needed dual channel memory, over my old setup with was single channel due to a damaged ryzen 5 1400. Paired with my MSI rx580, this memory is doing its job. Allowed me to upgrade my system without breaking the bank. Their memory clock is slower than what is recommended for the 3600x, but they get the job done.

    Wow! Just Wow!

These will run Eveonline pretty well. I have 32 GB RAM in each of my pcs. They work great.

I have 2 of the new 32" QLED 4k Samsung monitors. I selected the setting in Eve Online to also utilized the RAM Memory. I haven't had lag when others did. I haven't been in any large battles yet. But in some high congestion areas of the game, I am not getting lag.

I get nearly 200 FPS in World of Tanks. Again that is with a Geforce RTX graphics card but RAM memory also plays its role.

Good RAM fo an 8th Gen Intel Core i3 system

This is solid RAM. RAM isn't the most exciting purchase, but be sure to match it to the fastest speed your CPU's memory controller can support. This was for an i3 8100 system that supported 2400Mhz RAM, so it matched perfectly. You can always buy faster RAM than your CPU can support, just keep in mind the CPU will down-clock it to whatever the fastest speed it will support is. You just don't want to buy a slower speed than your CPU can handle, because you'll lose out on performance you paid for. Some motherboards will let you overclock RAM, too, but it's sometimes more of a pain that it is worth and can lead to system instability.

    Good Ram

So you need RAM huh? well I mean this is the RAM that I got and let me tell you it works. got through the BIOS after installing so I mean pretty good.

    Now onto the specs

so you got like 32GB of Random Access Memory which is running at 2.4GHz. Now you may be like ahhh I could get the 3GHz but lemme tell you your RAM is most likely not going to be the bottle neck of your build and this runs fast enough. Unless you are putting your computer under an extreme workload you wont be able to tell the difference between 2.4 and 3+.

I have attached a picture of the MB usage during the game Escape From Tarkov, when it drops off that is when I stopped playing. the the RAM usually runs anywhere from 8-9kMB/sec under normal computing. This is a high end RAM but with a good price :)

    Worthy upgrade to photo-editing tasks

I edit photos using Photoshop, Lightroom, and third party plug-ins and standalone photo processing apps. Recently, the plug-ins and apps I use came up with "AI" (artificial intelligence) versions and noticed that my processing times took longer. Lightroom especially came occasionally to a crawl because, I suppose, of the amount of data I have in memory. Upgrading from 16GB to this 32GB 2PK Corsair Vengeance alleviated that. I no longer have to watch what I have in memory -- the number of layers, the number of open images, the plug-ins I run, Photoshop+Lightroom+standalone apps all open at the same time, etc. -- and instead focus on getting my work done.

Wonderful help, long wait, wrong RAM

I talked to the best buy chat help. Gave them my laptops serial number, product number, and specs. Ordered it a month ago. Received it today. And it does not match my computer's design. The gold tabs gap that secures it to the computer, is too far left and does not fit my computer.

I will be going to my local Best Buy. With images of the 8gb Ram currently in my laptop, and the one I bought. And I expect the store to be amendable to trading the one I bought online with the right one in store at no additional cost and regardless of the package being opened.

I have no doubt that the ram itself works wonderfully for other devices it's designed for. But this is not built for a HP Laptop 15-da0xxx.

    I was warned!

I wanted to upgrade the 4gb ram in my HP laptop to 8gb. After researching, I decided to go straight to BestBuy for the PNY ram. Reviews were good and price was acceptable comparing to buying online. The sales person helping me actually said to me that most laptops won't accept this ram, and I could return it if I have an issue. I was hesitant but took a chance. I installed it, it seemed to work great for about 3hrs. Then my laptop went into a failure screen I have never seen before. My laptop tried for hours to "fix the problem". I gave up and re installed my old 4gb and problem solved.

I really need to get a 8gb ram for my HP laptop to help me with my multitasking programs. I don't know what to do now.

I gave this 2 stars because it worked for 3hrs, the salesman was honest (5 stars there) and returning it was a breeze (5 stars).

Would be nice to see a comparability chart on the package so the customer doesn't have to take the 50/50 chance.

    Added RAM worked

We have a 4 year old hp laptop that still had the original 4GB of RAM. With all the use at home these past months, the system and laptop were acting erratically. Adding this extra memory 'calmed' the system and there is much less delay and waiting for the laptop to catch up. We went from 4GB to 12GB, which made a big stability improvement. Installation was difficult to reach into the hp case (which is a hp design problem, and not a memory problem) to find the spare slot, but with patience (and making a small crack in the CD drive) the memory popped right in, and works fine. I have added memory in the past--purchasing chip brands I have heard of, and PNY has worked fine for me. Bottom line is DDR3 memory is a commodity business, and this worked fine, as expected.

    Helped upgrade old PCs

Used these RAM mods to upgrade my gaming laptop and normal use laptop. Other than the newly upgraded SSD, these definitely helped woth gaming in general on my laptops and helped with RAM intensive apps.

On top of that, my boot times increased pretty dramatically. Normally took about 45sec-1min to boot on my laptops. With the RAM and storage upgrades it's about 20sec-30sec

If youre looking to upgrade your HD and RAM for laptops, I would def grab these for a good RAM upgrade.

    Performance A+

First and foremost, you should ask yourself, how much is enough? A good way to gauge how much RAM you need is by looking at the system requirements for the programs you want to run. But if you don’t have those in mind, there are also some pretty good rules of thumb you can follow.

For instance, the average person really only needs about 8GB of RAM. With that much at your disposal, you should be able to play essentially any game, and operate essentially any consumer grade computer program. But moving to 16GB does help in a couple of ways

This is not what I got

It's like what I received was when they were switch xlr8 or whatever it is over to 3.2 from 2.6, my covers don't say anarchy or anything but the stickers are 16-18-18-36 or 32 can't recall

Ddr4 3200mhz. So idk whats up with that. It's always bothered me. But it's 16 gigs of RAM... It is difficult to overclock right. I always but pny thumb drives and sdcard and they almost always fail on me. Don't know why I think of them so highly.

    Works at rated speed out-of-the-box

Purchased 2 different sets from 2 different Best Buy locations. One used Hynix chips, the other Samsung b-die. There was no discernible difference on the sticks or packaging (unlike Corsair which lists a version number) to help differentiate them.

Used the Hynix set with an Intel i5-9400 and Gigabyte Z370 HD3. Set XMP in the BIOS and it ran with no issues. I didn't attempt to overclock them.

Used the Samsung b-die with a Ryzen 7 3800X and MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC (7B85v1B BIOS). Couldn't get them to work with the A-XMP profile at any voltage in the DIMMA1 and DIMMB1 slots, but the motherboard and user's manual both list DIMMA2 and DIMMB2 as the primary slots. After changing the DIMM slots, they booted up at A-XMP speeds with no issues.

Could not get them to boot at 3200 CAS14, even with DRAM voltage up to 1.50v. Was able to boot at 3600 CAS16 at 1.45v, but was unstable, even at 1.50v.

Booted and stable at 3600 CAS18, but it benched slower than stock.

Currently running them at 3466 CAS16 at 1.40v, stable with no issues. About a 3% boost in Passmark and 7% boost in AIDA64 benchmarks.

My only wish is that there was some indicator on the package of what memory chips are used because I'd like to buy another Samsung b-die set so I can run my RAM in Dual Rank.

Excellent Quality - Fast - Details Here

Great design with large heatsinks and fits well together in the motherboard. I was able to benchmark this on UserBenchmark to get real world results at 3200 MHz (RAM shows up under: PNY 8GBF1X08QFHH36-135-K 4x8GB) and it performed at 104% against the benchmark and in the top 10% of RAM tested in UB's database.

    Multi Core Test: Read 40.0 GB/s, Write 39.5 GB/s, Mixed 32.2 GB/s, Average 37.2 GB/s

    Single Core Test: Read 21.0 GB/s, Write 42.5 GB/s, Mixed 29.8 GB/s, Average: 31.1 GB/s

    Latency: 55 ns

While there are cheaper options out there, these perform exceptionally well against other 3200 Mhz DDR4 RAM

Make your old computer new again

I popped this memory card into my old Dell XPS DESKTOP. Now it works like a brand new computer. I couldn't be happier and have no interest in replacing this computer. It probably helped to reset Windows, too. I did that first, then once I was up and running, I wanted more RAM. I bought this version according to the specs, and it started faster than usual. At least Dell allows upgrades. Check your computer's specs before buying.

    Good Enough.

    It's RAM. That's It.

It works, but its nothing special.

For the technologically illiterate out there, make sure you realize that this is DDR3 RAM which is an older standard, and will only work for older computer systems.

The new standard is DDR4, so if you have a relatively modern system, make sure you don't need that instead.

    Great, affordable DDR3 RAM

I have an older motherboard, so if you can use DDR4, go with that. However, this RAM is great for boards which only support DDR3. Installed easily, and works great in one or 2 pairs, which can get you to 32g ram cheaply.

I had an issue where the some specifications of the RAM module wouldn't show up in CPU-z but thats just a little thing. After installation, the motherboard recognized it immediately, and the correct timings displayed. Booting to desktop, no issues, perfect for older workstation dell prebuilts that need ddr3. Can't go wrong with PNY, its a known brand.

The old tower was an Asus, Really bad towers to get. Got a great deal on the 2 sticks we needed and got them half price or at least a drastic reduction of normal price.

Works great when installed correctly, On me.

Upgraded my PC to a 9th gen core i5 motherboard, so I needed DDR4 RAM. While not specifically listed on the motherboard's website, I thought it would work. Imagine my surprise when the fans spun up but no beep no post no video. Troubleshooting revealed that I had failed to fully seat one of the modules. I removed one and could tell that it wasn't in right, but powered up with just the one, all good, then plugged in the second. Even folks with fairly solid computer skills make a mistake once in a while. Now everything works like a champ.

Added 16GB of RAM to my new IBuyPower

Bought a new IBuyPower gaming PC from Best Buy recently. It came with 16GBs of RAM installed. You can do the research to see if 16GBs of RAM is enough for a gaming PC but for me it was a no brainer. No need to match brands, just be sure that the RAM specs match your existing RAM. Popped them in and my PC booted right up and recognized the additional RAM.

Uhh-ohh! Make sure to make the right decision.

I can't post any relevant photos. But, it appears everyone makes this mistake. Even the stock item at the store didn't mention the difference in model number. Instead of model (SK Hynix 8GBU1X08JGGG39-12-K). I received the Model: 8GBU2X04JGGG39-12-K which did not qualify for my laptop. Hewlett Packard HP-15 laptop. I have a product link, similar(https://www.pny.com/performance-ddr4-2400mhz-notebook-memory). Luckily for me the memory is going into a mixture with the NUC6i7KYK. Buyer beware! Make sure that the position of the circuit is by-8. Unless supported as by-16.

I assume it came out of some kit.

The other 2 I have that were ordered online match the description 100%.

SKU is for at least TWO different part numbers.

PSA, this SKU does not specify the actual part number of the RAM module that you will get.

I bought this two times, and the second one didn't work in my laptop (Thinkpad L380 yoga). I thought it was DOA, so I exchanged it for another one, which also didn't work.

As far as I can tell, it has something to do with the density and number of the actual memory chips on the module. The part number of the one that worked was 8GBU1X08JGGG39-12-K, and the one that didn't was 8GBU2X04JGGG39-12-K

The 8GBU2X04JGGG39-12-K module also caused system instability in another DELL laptop that I tried it in.

The SKU and specs between the two are identical, but the number and density of the chips used is different.

I'm not sure if it's the fault of Best Buy or PNY, but this shouldn't happen.

MSI Laptop Dual Channel Memory Upgrade

Was on travel with my personal MSI GF63 8RC that only had only a single 8GB DDR4 2400 mhz SODIMM. SO I went to the local Best Buy in Laurel NJ to pick up this PNY SODIMM including an IFIXIT Kit so that I could use an opening tool to remove the bottom cover. Installed easily, system recognized it, and matched it fine for dual channel memory. It noticeably improved loading times and gaming on my World of Warcraft account. So happy that I purchased an MSI GF65 laptop for my grandson and am planning to get the same SODIMM at my Orange Park FL Best Buy to upgrade his to have the proper dual channel memory as well. Kudos for Best Buy and PNY

Better deal than buying a new laptop!

This was exactly what I needed to add more memory to my Dell Inspiron laptop. It's running great! I chose to install it myself and felt confident doing so after watching a detailed video that I easily found on a popular video site. I had to remove tiny screws, remove the optical drive, pop off and disconnect the keyboard, and pry open the case of my Dell laptop. I was able to do this and put it all back together. It works better than ever! If you don't feel like you can do this yourself, then pay for a trained computer technician to install the memory module for you.

There is another Corsair kit Best Buy sells that may get you higher frequencies but in all honesty I bought this kit to match my build. The white is about as white as it gets and the RGB is what you’d expect from Corsair (BRIGHT). It really stands out in my build and matches my white chassis and cables very well. Good ram and a great price!

Good ram and a great price! This was better than any price I found other places for the same thing. Save some money, and get flashy! The specs on this stick are better than lesser ram at the same price online!

Premium Affordable Chromebook with 2 Thunderbolt4

Acer new Chromebook Spin 713 is an affordable slim powerful Chromebook with no compromise on build quality or performance. Compared to its last year model this Chromebook has the new Intel Core I5 11th gen processor with Intel Iris Xe Graphics. Also, has 2 new USB-C Thunderbolt 4 ports with 5v charging.

What is in the box: Acer Chromebook Spin 713, 45 W USB C power adapter, Manual/warranty sheets.

    Measurement & Weight: It measures 11.8 x 9.25 x 0.67 inches and weighs 3.01 pounds (1.35kg).

Color: Silver; Memory: 8GB; Storage: 256GB PCie NVMe SSD

Design: This 13.5-inch 2256 x 504 IPS Vertiview display with ACER logo on the front. Display is one of the best standout features for the price point. Colors are vibrant and crisp and is very bright. This Chromebook display features 3:2 aspect ratio compared to the standard 16:9 on most of todays laptop. This means more screen size vertically which gives more real estate space that minimizes less zooming or scrolling of webpages and more room for browser.

Spin 713 is very well built with military-grade durable aluminum chassis unlike other brands that are plasticky. Has Corning Gorilla touchscreen and the hinge is built well and supports 360 degree swiveling and is easy to flip around.

ChromeOS was preinstalled but if this is the first-time using Chromebook then you will need to connect the power adapter first before hitting the power button. Once booted, follow the onscreen instructions to complete the setup. You can download more apps from the google play store app and even has Microsoft word, excel and PowerPoint.

Charger/Ports: On the left side of the Chromebook, you have the 2 USB Type-C Thunderbolt4 ports. You can use any of the USB C (3.2) ports to charge the laptop battery using a 45W power adapter and supports 5v charging. Also, the USB-C ports support DisplayPort functionality to hook up to external monitor with ease. This is the first Chromebook that has 2 Thunderbolt 4 ports for an affordable price. It has a HDMI port and 3.5mm audio jack. On the right side, it has power button one USB Type A port, MicroSD card reader, volume rocker. Compared to previous gen, this Chromebook uses USB- C easy charge for quick charge.

No Fingerprint reader on this review model but there is an option to get one with that configuration.

Battery: With 56Wh Li-on battery, during our testing it lasted close to 8 hours with screen brightness of 48%, running few apps, watching YouTube videos and working on office documentation which is okay for a Chromebook but there is a room for improvement. You will get lesser time if the brightness is high and gaming but the good part is it charges really fast. With 30 minutes of charging, you get up to 3.5 to 4 hours which is impressive.

Keyboard and Trackpad: Full function keyboard with right amount of key travel during typing. Keyboard is comfortable and backlit. Got a large Touchpad and is surprisingly accurate and has a tactile click when pressed.

Speaker and Mic: Speakers delivers okay audio experience with loud sound and minimal distortion at maximum volume compared to earlier models and supports DTS Audio and the built-in Smart Amplifier but don’t expect great audio quality and will be great for the video calls or for audio on the go.

Camera/Face Login: Features a front facing camera great for all video calls and online meetings.

Performance: This Spin 713 has 8GB of RAM, 256 GB PCie NVMe SSD of storage. There is also an intel I7 processor and would recommend that if you need this as your daily driver. Performance is good and there is no lag when working on video calls, watching videos, opening multiple taps on chrome, multiple apps and even some level of gaming. Great for college kids or for someone who use it for browsing and not into heavy programming or video editing. It does support most of the android apps from google play store. With the latest and greatest Bluetooth 5 and Wi-Fi 6 AX201 this latest Spin 713 doesn’t lack any new technologies.

    Pros:

    + Portable 3:2 screen

    + 2 USB-C Thunderbolt4

    + Touchscreen 360 degree swiveling

    +Military grade durability,

    +Great Battery life (approx. 8 – 8.5 hours);

+ Wi-Fi 6 for smooth video chats and large file transfer

    + Large Track Pad

    + DTS Audio

    Cons:

    - No Fingerprint Sensor

Bottomline: Acer Spin 713 Chromebook is a portable notepad with all the ports required for anyone to achieve excellent performance. High quality built, large display, 3:2 screen. If you are in the market for a premium Chromebook that delivers better performance and need for everyday use, then you will not be disappointed at the price point it offers.

Highly recommend for its performance, price and size over other brands in the market.

    Intersection of performance,portability,and value

    ============================

    >>>>> Bottom Line Up front: <<<<<

    ============================

The Acer Chromebook Spin 713 deserves serious consideration if you're looking to get school and/or work done anywhere your daily routine takes you. Thanks to the Spin 713's - 3:2 aspect ratio - and it's 13.5" 2K screen - I was able to get more done and spend less time scrolling around text heavy pages and "CC" text boxes (that love to live in the bottom of video/class presentations) when plugging away at my classes.

Once you factor in solid build quality, respectable styling that doesn't scream "cheap plastic", a great (but not perfect) backlit keyboard, reasonable amount of accessory ports (USB-C w/Thunderbolt 4 support, MicoSD card reader, HDMI Output, etc), Quad Core Intel Core i5 based computing performance, excellent battery life that always lasted me through my 6-8 hour sessions away from a power outlet ( PLUS super-fast charging - about4 hours of battery for 30 mins of charging) – I could keep going on and on, but it's not hard to see why this an extremely ideal solution for students and administrative office work on the go.

    ============================

    >>>>> My detailed thoughts: <<<<<

    ============================

    - Overall Design/Aesthetics: -

I used the Acer Chromebook Spin 713 for a solid week as my primary school workstation. From an exterior, styling perspective, I was very impressed by color choices and textures that Acer used on this Chromebook. The sleek sandblasted metallic “Steel” grey color that I encompasses the exterior is a far cry from the super cheap looking flat black/grey colored plastic shells I have seen in the past. Typically, in my mind I equated a Chromebook as a “budget” option, and did not expect this level of thought/emphasis placed into the exterior design. The silver “acer” and convertible “hinge” accents do a nice job of visually breaking up the solid grey motif, and once I actually picked up the Spin 713 in my hands, I noticed the that it had the nice “heft” that I like to feel in quality mobile products – as in it did not feel like toy. The actual exterior itself is surprisingly fingerprint and scratch resistant. I haven’t had the chance to buy a sleeve or case for the Chromebook yet, so I have been just throwing it my backpack this entire time. Although it’s not 100% fingerprint proof, its done a fantastic job not picking up any scratches so far. The front facing web cam and mic are subtly hidden in the bezel, and the front speakers are tucked away under the front facing portion of the bottom shell adding to the overall professional looking design.

    - Keyboard: -

The actual keyboard was nicely backlit, and had a reasonable amount of travel in the keys. I spend a large amount of time coding and working with rapid key strokes and I tend to prefer keyboards with large amounts of key travel, but this keyboard was more than satisfactory and I had no issues with any tasks I threw at it. I also appreciated the fact the Spin 713 included a dedicated set of arrow keys – as many notebooks in this size category tend to either omit, or combine them with other keys.

    - Screen: -

The screen was pretty impressive and I find myself once again surprised at how much performance Acer is giving here in this Chromebook. At its native “2K” (2256 x 1504) resolution, the IPS touch screen was crystal clear and responded rapidly to all my inputs and requests. I can’t find anything negative to say about the screen and thanks to the convertible nature of the Spin Book you can behold its wide-angle viewing glory in “tent” mode (my favorite) – as I would often prop it up on the corner of a shelf or ledge to watch lecture or presentation while doing something else with my hands.

The My university uses an online learning environment that typically scales with the resolution of your monitor (for both desktop and mobile systems) – however just because the GUI interface scales – it doesn’t make the online environment any easier to navigate and actually use for completing classwork. Compared to my standard 16:9 aspect ratio laptop that I was using to get my work done, the Spin 713 saved me a good amount of scrolling up and down the screen while participating in discussion boards and watching video-based content that had text boxes load underneath. Particularly, if you’re not using an external mouse and relying solely on the built-in track pad. - and fortunately the built in track pad is generously sized and very easy and responsive to use.

    - Computing performance: -

This Spin 713 is sporting the latest 11th generation Core i5 mobile processor, along with Intel’s latest line of integrated Iris Xe graphics for video playback. Coupled with 8GB of ram and a 256GB NVMe SSD hard drive == zero performance issues. As far as what I needed and what I think most students need out of a notebook to complete their classes – these specs are most likely overkill, but provide ample performance on tap as computing and graphics requirements relentlessly move forward. I appreciate the dedicated MicroSD reader, as it saves me having to carry around yet another dongle to read those when I need to access one. The 2x Thunderbolt supported USB-C ports are awesome if you use devices that can take advantage of their addition features and bandwidth. As an added bonus, there is even an HDMI output which opens up the possibility of using the Spin 713 with an external monitor or projector as well. The Spin powers on in seconds, powers down in seconds, lasted me 5-6 hours of regular/daily course work, and was virtually silent the entire time.

    ==========================

    >>>>> Closing thoughts: <<<<<

    ==========================

I really like the Acer Spin 713. It has redefined what I think a Chromebook can do and perform from a professional and school focused notebook. The Spin 713 has almost everything going for it in that regard: elegant styling, a functional/productivity focused 3:2 aspect ratio, excellent battery/charging features, premium construction, a solid backlit keyboard, the latest generation of Intel parts …. And even a HDMI output for when/if you need to output your display for a classroom presentation (whenever that day eventually comes). The Spin 713 should definitely be high on your list if you’re in the market for something to help you excel in your course work on the go – or even just at home.

    Slim laptop with Android functionality

This little thing is an interesting cross between a slim laptop and a large tablet with what feels like a crossbreed between Windows and Android. I’ve had one other Chromebook before that felt more tablet-like than laptop-like, but this one feels more laptop-like and the tablet feature is just a neat addition.

The great thing about a Chromebook is that if you already have an Android device you already have some familiarity with the possible applications. With the Play Store you pretty much have everything you can ever need from typical big name applications down to the simplest of games. You can choose to use them like you would with a normal computer with the touchpad or a connected Bluetooth or USB mouse, or touch screen. The touchscreen feels as sturdy as my cell phone or tablet with the Gorilla Glass but does have some flex with it being so thin and large.

You have two USB Type-C Thunderbolt 4 ports, one USB 3 Type-A port, HDMI, headphones and micro-SD slot for all the connectivity you could use. If it doesn’t have the connection type you need, you can easily find an adapter for that. The keyboard is backlit, which some larger laptops don’t even include.

The resolution of the screen is capable of 2256x1504, but wow, talk about making everything super tiny. The default 1410x940 that it is set for feels a bit more usable, regardless the screen is bright, colorful and detailed. Flipping the screen past 180 degrees turns it into tablet mode. This disables the touchpad and keyboard but does feel strange still having all that underneath. You can leave it at just about any angle and it holds itself up. The built in camera is decent enough for video conferencing, but not the best looking selfie camera. The speakers are on the underside of the keyboard and kind of weak and hollow, but there is a 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth and USB for better sound options.

Battery life is always dependent on what you are doing. With a full charge and some sporadic usage here and there, this thing lasted for days without charging and was instant on when opened. A full charge claims over 11 hours and the included charger gets that back up in a fraction of that. But, brightness, volume level, intensity of the application all takes more power and can burn through that charge time quicker than originally calculated.

A side note, in case you may encounter this issue. When I first received this, I could not get connected to my WiFi router, an Asus RT-AX88U. It would show as “Out of Range” regardless of being in direct sight of my router. After changing some settings on my router it was discovered that the “Optimized for Xbox” option in the wireless settings, picture attached, was preventing this laptop from connecting to my AX enabled networks. Acer is now aware of this issue and may be resolved eventually, but just in case you have that issue, that could be your fix.

Overall, this has been a fun and useful laptop as it still gives the functionality that you need in a laptop as well as the ability to play your favorite Android games.

    Premium Hardware

This is by any means a premium machine with state of the art specs, that happens to run Chrome OS:

    • The screen is a high-resolution: 2256 x 1504 pixels, giving it a 3:2 aspect ratio, with a 2K resolution. This is the same as newer Surface laptops and others that are moving away from 16:9 (1080p) form-factor, which is much better for editing documents, and while watching movies, I appreciate the controls remain outside the viewing area.

    • Tablet mode: The 'Spin' in the name indicates this is a convertible laptop, so when folded with the screen on top, the keyboard becomes disabled, and one uses it via touchscreen. The screen has a gorilla glass (like phones), and the OS detects this mode by maximizing every window and showing the touch keyboard when necessary.

    • The keys are island style, backlit, with the ChromeOS distribution: No command/windows key, and the caps-lock becomes the search key. It's very comfortable to type with.

    • Trackpad is large and responsive, with a smooth glass surface. Very nice to work with.

    • Ports: On the left, there are two thunderbolt 4, one HDMI and audio jack. On the right, the power, USB-A 3, Micro-SD slot and volume keys (To use mostly in tablet mode)

    • The sound (With DTS label) comes from two speakers on the underside – front. It took me a while to get used to hear the sound coming from the bottom but it works.

    • Charging is via one of the thunderbolt/USB-C ports. It comes with a large, typical laptop-size charger that has an USB-C port, and also worked by charging from an USB-C dock.

    • Wi-Fi: Supports WiFi 6. I was able to get around 300 Mb up and down on a gigabit internet, using SpeedTest from the Play Store.

    • Storage is via an M2 type SSD: 240 GB.

    • RAM is 8 GB.

    • Bluetooth 5.0.

    • The CPU is an 11th gen Intel Core i5, and is 'Evo' compliant: Evo is an approval mark by Intel for systems that support current state of the art specs like higher-end Intel embedded graphics, Thunderbolt 4 and WiFi 6, with over 9 hours battery life.

Because the ports are Thunderbolt, I was able to use two 1080p monitors connected to a single thunderbolt dock (which uses USB-C Alt mode, like Macs) and also, separately, used a portable generic USB-C dock to drive an external display, keyboard and mouse.

The laptop also has a web camera. I didn't find it to be too impressive, but works. I used it with Zoom (Chrome app) and it works well as long as there is adequate lightning.

    ChromeOS:

Although initially it was basically a way to run the chrome web browser, within the last few years it can also run Android apps. Many android apps work well within a laptop screen, and with Intel 64-bit CPUs.

And now in beta, it also runs Debian Linux within a Virtual Machine, which also supports complex GUI applications like Microsoft Visual Studio Code. This works by either using apt-get from the Linux console or by downloading a .deb package.

So within Chrome apps, Android and Linux there isn't much it cannot do.

ChromeOS is generally very secure, and is fairly straightforward to restore the laptop to like it came from the factory. Much of the system is 'read-only', and that makes it more resilient.

Keep in mind that ChromeOS, for much of its functionality requires internet connectivity, although there's plenty that can also be done offline as well.

Also keep in mind that Google collects plenty of data from Chrome. In return, a lot of what’s done on the device is backed up and synced into Google's cloud, so working on different devices or replacing a Chromebook is also a lot simpler.

Overall, I'm very impressed with this laptop and how capable ChromeOS is while being very secure.

The multiple-personality of the system running Chrome and web applications, Android and Linux is great but there are occasionally some rough areas in how these coexist, although it's been very good overall and it keeps improving.

So in this way I'd prefer ChromeOS to an Android tablet.

The hardware in this laptop is top of the line. Consider this if looking for a premium Chromebook or a high-end Android tablet.

    Quality Inside and Out!

The new Acer – Chromebook Spin 713 Laptop is beautiful inside and out. Built on the 11th Gen Intel Evo Core i5 platform, this Chromebook can go for an extended period of time on one charge, and with its two Thunderbolt 4 Type C Ports can be fully charged in the fraction of the time it takes most laptops.

The 13.5” screen with its 2K IPS VertiView touch display delivers a screen resolution of 2256 x 1504, an awesome picture that in large part can be contributed to the Intel Iris Xe graphics. With its 3:2 ratio display that delivers 18% more vertical space, the picture when watching TV or a video is quite impressive for such a small laptop. The audio, just average but sufficient, paired with a small external speaker with added bass, gave the audio the sound it needed for viewing a movie.

But in addition to the responsive and bright touch screen display and bright brilliant graphics, there are other components that contribute to making this a top-notch computing product. The speed of the Chrome OS was a very pleasant surprise and performs very well. It makes my 500 GB internet seem even faster. The touch pad is also smooth and very responsive. And, because of different light levels that I work in, the backlit keyboard is an especially nice amenity to the Acer Chromebook Spin 713.

For a product that is just over 3 lbs. in weight, the Acer Chromebook Spin 713 Laptop has a lot to offer. Considering that Chromebook encourages use of the Cloud for storage and includes quality wireless connectivity to accomplish this, this Chromebook still has an integrated 256 GB SSD (Solid State Drive) and 8 GB of RAM built into the laptop. It is equipped with Google Assist and has a “one-button-key” that can return you quickly to search for any documents or apps that you have been working on through this laptop.

This Chromebook is capable of interfacing with various types of media and can be used in many applications. It has a built-in HDMI port, the two USB Type-C Ports with Thunderbolt 4 already mentioned, a USB Type A connection, a media card reader, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. With its 360-degree hinge and very responsive touch screen, it can be used as a laptop, a tablet, or angled in two different positions to serve as a presentation stand for the screen display. The laptop is also Energy Star Certified and equipped with a front facing camera for interacting through Zoom, Go to Meeting, etc.

All of these high-quality amenities are packaged in an equally high-quality case. Not only is this product, beautiful, sleek, and high-tech looking -- it is high tech. It is enclosed in a military grade tested aluminum chassis and equipped with a Gorilla Glass display screen. Acer offers a 1-year warranty on all parts and labor.

The Acer Chromebook Spin 713 Laptop may be priced a little higher than other Chromebooks. Even so, it is a real bargain with all that it offers and the quality of its components. I have to give this a 5 out of 5 because I am very impressed with it and cannot find anything at all that is not a positive. Take a look at this product, I think you will be very happy with it and wish to purchase one for yourself or a family member.

HIGHLY recommend!! The BEST bang for your buck

I bought this laptop only a couple days ago but so far I'm in LOVE! I switched over from using Windows computers my whole life, so the Google OS looked weird at first and took a little bit to get used to. Other than that, this laptop has been a legitimate delight to use. I'm using it mostly for college work and web browsing/occasional youtube, so I'm not going to be putting it to the ultimate performance test, but it exceeds all of my expectations!

    Pros:

-Really good battery life (for my light-moderate use. I've had it for 2 days and haven't needed to charge it at all while using it for schoolwork & youtube throughout the 2 days)

-Amazing screen (in love with the 3:2 ratio and how the display looks! HIGHLY recommend giving this laptop a try just for this screen)

-Build quality (very solid & feels premium)

-Keyboard (I'm extremely picky with laptop keyboards and this one is very tactile and responsive/clicky! Exactly what I was looking for in a keyboard)

    -Good trackpad

-Quiet fans (they'll ocasionally kick up and make a loud noise, but that doesn't happen a lot and only lasts a few seconds. Other than that they are whisper quiet!)

-Doesn't get hot! (I've felt it get slightly warm but that's it. Nothing extreme or concerning)

    -Very lightweight

    Cons:

-Speakers? (basically everyone lists this as a con b/c they're not GREAT but in my opinion they're adequate. They could definitely be better which is why it's a "con", but I was expecting way worse based on other reviews)

-Camera (the webcam quality is embarrassingly bad. I'd have to buy a seperate webcam to use for zoom/online meetings b/c the pics/videos this laptop takes are toaster quality)

Good Windows laptop alternative for most people

This is my first Chromebook, after having used mostly high-end Windows laptops since the late 90s. I was thinking about replacing my current Windows laptop (7th gen i7, 16 GB 2133 MHz RAM, 256 GB SSD, 4K 15.6 inch display) with something similar (but newer and faster). However, I realized that I don't really need a lot of power in a laptop, as I recently built a powerful desktop PC that I use for real work. Now I just need a laptop for web browsing, answering personal emails, and throwing together the occasional personal spreadsheet or formatted text document, and I need to be able to take the laptop on road trips not related to work. For such low-demand activities, I thought I could save some money by investing in a decent Chromebook, especially since I expect to always have a reasonably fast internet connection available wherever I would need to use my laptop.

While conducting my research, I came upon mostly positive reviews of the recently-released Acer Spin 713 Chromebook. Yes, it's not one of the cheaper Chromebooks out there, but its hardware specs are so good that I expect this model to still perform well as a Chromebook for many years. A four-core, eight-thread 11th gen i5 CPU, combined with 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM, is overkill today, but I expect I'll still be happy with this Chromebook several years down the road.

    Pros:

-Very fast at web-based activities (assuming you have a fast internet connection)

-Fast graphics processing (HD videos play back flawlessly)

-Superb display (no visible pixelation; capable of high brightness)

-Adequate keyboard (a little cramped due to limited available real estate, but you'll get used to it)

-Excellent wifi 6 performance (I see 50% faster download speeds than I was seeing with my previous wifi 5 laptop at the same location)

-Great start-up and shut-down times (literally just a few seconds)

-Programmable "Search" key (many reviews complain about a "Search" key occupying the place where a "Shift" key would normally be, but the function of this key can be selected from a drop-down menu that includes "Shift")

    Cons:

-Sluggish response when managing cloud-resident files via Google Drive (takes a long time to select hundreds of files and then delete them; had to break them into many batches; probably par for the course when storing files in the cloud)

-Found that many Android apps in the Google Play store are not compatible with Chrome OS (fortunately not a problem for the ones I really wanted to install, like MS Office)

    Best Chromebook available!

I have had this unit a while and can give and honest and fair review.

If you liked last years model then you will like this one and if not then you will still have issues. This is essentially the exact same unit as last year except for the 11th gen processor and 256 gb nvme drive. Otherwise it is exactly the same. The change to 10nm 11th gen Intel processors is a big deal though and delivers serious performance gains over last years model-specially in graphics intensive tasks.

I would have liked if they would have made some changes. First off the speaker placement and sound is pretty bad. Side mounted or top firing speakers would make a huge difference here. Smaller footprint would have been nice as well as maybe one other color option. Also stop with the polished edge on the laptop lid-scratches really easy. Not a fan of the ergolift design.

The good stuff is the 11th gen processor is a game changer in the graphics arena. The processor is plenty fast and adds two thunderbolt ports. THe larger NVME drive is a welcome addition.

The screen is bright and color accurate. It does have backlight bleeding from the top and bottom edges. The 2k resolution is perfect. Gorilla glass scratch protection on the touch screen is a plus as well.

The glass trackpad is nice as well.

Overall this is the best performing Chromebook on the market for the cost. I think this is an excellent choice for most people. I do wish Acer would put more attention to build quality and keyboard.

Chrome OS has come a long way and I really enjoy using it. I hope that it becomes a full fledged OS as it has the foundation of Linux to add onto. That being said, I can get the majority of my work and pleasure done on a Chromebook without any loss of function.

In my use case I actually find my chromebook easier to use than my Mac. If Manufacturers can deliver more high end features while keeping costs lower than Macs or Windows pcs then I have a strong feeling ChromeOS based devices are going to be more and more popular over the years. This unit is supported until June 2029 and it has enough power that it might just perform well during that entire time making another strong incentive.

Awesome 2-in-1 laptop with latest gen intel CPU!

My general impression of this 2-in-1 laptop is that between the form factor, battery life, and high-powered CPU in this device, it will please any student or professional on the go who is looking for the combined functionality of a tablet and a laptop.

This keyboard is absolutely pure bliss. It takes all my favorite elements of a keyboard that includes tactility and proper placement of keys and combines them with perfect attack, stroke depth, and creates a wonderful typing experience on a laptop with a footprint this thin and small in general. The keys are best suited to burst-typing in my opinion. I achieved over a 60-second 10fastfingers.com test about 83WPM typing, which is right up there with my favorite of all time 2015 Macbook Pro keyboard. The only aspect of the keyboard that I dislike is the pg up and pg down buttons being directly above the left and right arrow keys. More than once, even in the typing of this review, I have accidently tapped either of those keys and launched myself away from where I was intending to navigate. I would suggest to dell a software method of turning these pg up and pg down keys off and making it so you can just use a key combination like windows key+up or down key instead.

The FHD screen of this model is what I consider perfect for a laptop this size and for the usages I intend of future schoolwork, Word processing, web navigation, and productivity work in general. Most professional reviewers will agree that small laptop screens such as these gain subjectively marginal visual benefits for increased pixel density but can suffer greatly with shortened battery life as the battery gets taxed trying to power the increased demand of a higher-resolution screen. The stock resolution of 1920 X 1200 looks fantastic in my opinion as it gives you more vertical space to navigate on a screen this size. It also came stock at 150% zoom for icon size etc. and I think this works nicely too for the visual appeal of the laptop and navigation.

As a primary Apple MBP user, I am heartily surprised by how much I am enjoying the touchscreen functionality of this 2-in-1 laptop. Sometimes, it just feels nice when sitting on the couch to flip the screen over and go into touch screen mode, navigating around with simple gestures and touches of the incredibly responsive screen. The only thing to note here is that, because of the beautiful infinityedge display here that all but eliminates bezels around the entirety of the laptop screen, you really don’t have much to hold onto. While this is not as focused and functional in tablet mode as a dedicated tablet, it will likely please anyone who is looking for a two-in-one.

Tests: On Cinebench R15 OpenGL it got 77.22fps. Awesome. On CPU is got 270cb. Both of these figures are incredibly respectable and would have been considered impossible four years ago on an Ultrabook device when I first got into laptops and reviewing them.

The trackpad I would say is serviceable but not my favorite I have had on a laptop. It appears to be a springboard type trackpad when means the bottom will have good action when pressing the keyboard to click but the top requires a firmer press. After all my experiences with force touch trackpads with Apple, I just cannot hold any trackpad in higher esteem than those. But this one is nice and relatively large considering the absolutely tiny footprint of this 13.4” screen laptop.

The wifi antenna for this is the Killer Wi-fi AX1650s 160MHz and is soldered onto the motherboard, so you will not be replacing it. Historically, I have not been a fan of Killer for my wifi network adapters as I have found their drivers to be unstable and to have caused drops of connection in previous laptops I have owned of Dell make like my old Alienware 17 R4. Thus far in this laptop though, I have not noticed any issues in the connectivity or internet speeds.

The SSD in this particular model is an NVME drive made by KIOXA, and there is something wrong with this drive. In initiating the CrystalDiskMark test, this drive emitted a God-awful squealing noise audible from a couple feet away from the laptop. It is a sound remarkably like coil whine. Within a minute of initiating the benchmark test, the fan of the laptop ramped up and upon touching the very top right of the keyboard deck I realized that the laptop was getting hot! According to HWmonitor, the temperature of the laptop got up to 100 degrees Celsius, which for me us unheard of for just the simple read/write testing of an SSD! I even got a replacement model of this laptop and tried the test again, and sure enough it was the same result. A disclaimer here though is that the laptop only did this the first time the test was initiated. In future iterations of the test, I did not have that issue.

I have to offer some nitpicks here, just as I hope that Dell may read them and consider. First, as with many Windows devices, this laptop comes with a large amount of bloatware that is unnecessary given how high end this device is. McAfee is annoying and invasive and seems to pop up on your screen at the most random of times to interrupt your work and remind you to download their anti-virus software. This was annoying and I uninstalled it quickly. I also dislike how, with all Windows devices, Microsoft absolutely ASSAULTS YOU with their insistence that you use their Microsoft Edge browser. I find it patronizing and distracting to be going about my everyday tasks and to be constantly interrupted. On a Dell specific note, I dislike the popups from their support assist software. Basically, I hate distractions in my workflow and anything like the above-mentioned items that could be eliminated I will hold a laptop maker accountable for. The speakers also, while decent, do distort quite a bit at max volume. This is an issue I feel could have been eliminated with more R&D, but is forgivable given that many users will just use headphones anyways.

Altogether, aside from the quirk with the first-time coil-whine noise on the CrystalDiskMark test, I have found good success with this laptop. It has definitely found its way into my daily workflow and is a nice upgrade to my previous daily driver windows laptop I used previously. Thanks for reading and hope this review helped you!

It's like a Windows version of the Macbook Air

    ## Design

The Dell XPS 13 9310 2-in-1 laptop has a sleek aluminum exterior (similar to the Macbook). The keyboard is comfortable to type on (although there is no numeric keypad) and the back-lighting is appreciated for late-night work. The power button doubles as a fingerprint reader that works with Windows Hello to allow you to login and unlock quickly.

The display is a touchscreen and it can fold around back to use the laptop as a tablet (the keyboard becomes disabled in this state). You can also fold it in a tent shape which makes it ideal for watching videos.

    ## Display

The FHD+ IPS displays look great from most angles, but I sometimes notice some light banding near the top and bottom of the screen. Otherwise, the screen is bright and colorful. Movies and videos look great on it, but the display is shiny and the glare can be very distracting if you're in a bright room.

While the laptop seems smaller than many 13 inch laptops, that's thanks in part to the almost bezel-less display. You still get a nice 13 inch display in a smaller form factor. This particular model does not have a 4K display, but still looks sharp regardless.

    ## Performance

While Windows seems to load quickly on the XPS 13, I prefer to use Ubuntu so I installed Ubuntu 20.04 on it. Dell doesn't officially support Ubuntu on this particular model, however the WiFi, sound, brightness and volume controls all worked out-of-the-box. One hardware component that did not work out of the box on Ubuntu was the fingerprint scanner.

Performance is snappy and the XPS 13 can handle running several applications (or a bunch of browser tabs) simultaneously. This is thanks in part to Intel's 11th generation i7 processor in the laptop. Web pages load quickly and the processor can handle javascript-heavy sites without batting an eye. Photo editing and light video editing are also fine on this system.

This particular model comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of SSD storage, which is a little on the low end, but is more than adequate for web browsing, document editing, coding and online meetings. If you're doing heavy video editing or gaming, you'll probably want a machine with beefier specs and storage.

    ## Battery Life

Even on Ubuntu, I found the battery life to be very good for web browsing and working on documents. I'd estimate around 7-9 hours of battery life in these scenarios. Ubuntu also seems to sleep and resume properly when opening and closing the lid with minimal battery drain while sleeping.

The XPS 13 recharges with a modern USB-C Power Delivery connection, allowing you to easily pick up a new charger if you misplace the included one. There are two USB-C ports, but no standard USB-A port on this system. Therefore, you may want to look into a USB-C hub if you want to connect external drives or peripherals with a "regular" USB connector.

    ## Summary

Overall, you can think of this system as the Macbook Air of Windows machines. It's lightweight, compact, has a sleek aluminum exterior, and has great performance for work and school. And if Windows is not your cup of tea, Ubuntu 20.04 seems to run fine on it as well, although it is not officially supported.

Stylish & Sleek but could have been more powerful

    Pros:

    1. Processor - Intel® Evo™ Platform - Core™ i7 - 11th Generation processor for super fast performance, Intel Wifi 6 connectivity for faster connection, Intel Iris Xe graphics for more vivid colors

    2. Design - Diamond Cut Sidewalls provides a jaw dropping sleek aluminium exterior. 2 in 1 design makes it a delight to use it like a tablet or tent-shape for watching movies.

    3. Display - FHD+ Infinity Edge display provides a 16:10 aspect ratio there by providing 7% larger screen than before.

    4. Keyboard - Improved Edge to Edge Backlit Keyboard with Fingerprint embedded in the Power button makes typing really smooth and easy to use in the night.

    5. Charger and Battery - This laptop comes with a 45W USB C charger which provides fast charging and the battery i believe lasts upto 8 to 9 hours with about 30% brightness.

    6. Port - Thunderbolt 4 port provides upto 40 GB/s transfer rate which is amazing especially for people who use this laptop for transferring photos and videos

    7. Sound - Waves Max Audio delivers clear and loud sound which makes the speakes truly outstanding

    8. Weight - This Ultrabook is so sleek which is very similar to Macbook Pro that it weighs only 2.9 pounds making this laptop truly portable and a joy to have especially during travel.

    Cons:

    1. Just 8 GB memory - 16 GB memory would have made this laptop more powerful for people who use it mainly for Gaming or video editing but still it doesn't make a big difference for people who use it for every day activities like browsing and watching movies.

    2. Ports - Lack of USB A port could be something which many might have complaints about even though the laptop comes with a USB C to USB A convertor.

    3. Display - Shiny screen could sometimes cause glare.

    "Pretty" Impressive

I got this XPS 13 and another 15.6" Intel 11th gen i7 1165G7 processor, Evo, Intel Iris Xe, within a few weeks of each of other. I'm a software developer, and I finally have some future travel plans. I plan to take an additional USB3 C PD monitor with me. I want to travel as light as possible, but still be productive. I previously traveled with a 17" notebook, as a few years back it had the highest quality monitor, and for my development needs I needed a large monitor. But today's best notebooks have improved the quality of their monitors significantly (brighter and higher resolution) and the quality of the embedded graphics boards continues to get better and better.

The 11th gen Intel i7 with 4 cores and 2 threads, is a great processor, that sips power and generates nominal heat. Both of theses computers can run on batteries between 8 and 12 hrs (depending on how they are being used, and screen brightness) This was unthinkable 4 or 5 years ago. And the ability to drive a second, or third monitor with a single cable was not possible.

Now in order to make modern computers more portable some other functionality has changed. This XPS 13 has two Thunderbolt 4 ports and 1 Micro SD card slot. Notebooks used to have 4 to 5 USB ports, and CD/DVD drives, but in order to get this computer under 3lbs (2.9) things have been made more modularised, and if you need more ports, you can add them, if you need those ports to be extremely fast you can do that too (at a price). Thunderbolt 4 provides a number of "pay as you go" options, a HQ USB 3.2 docking station is about $100, the same type of Thunderbolt 4 docs probably runs $100-$150 more but offers 40mb/s transfer rates vs 10/20mb/s rates for a USB 3.1 or 3.2 adapter. But there are only 2 devices that approach this rate today, a nvme M.2 SSD drive and 4K monitors. SD cards come no where close, nor do the fastest USB thumb drives. I did testing and they are more than 10x slower, so the advantage of having 10-15 devices connected to you notebook offers a huge amount of flexibility.. Leave 10+ devices on your desk by disconnecting a single cable. This is a new convenience, that modern notebooks with Thunderbolt 3 or 4 ports offer, and even USB 3,2 Gen 2 with PD (power delivery) comes very close. The last photo shows the port adapter I decided to use with the XPS 13.

To let you follow along with my thought process, the first two images show how similar the thickness of these computers is, the second compares the screen size, it's a little deceptive because the XPS's bezel is smaller than it's counterpart. The XPS 13 has a 13.4" display, the other is 15.6". The XPS weighs 2.9lbs, the other 4.3lbs.

I said is did some benchmarking, the CPU numbers were, not surprisingly pretty equivalent. The XPS has 4 channel memory vs 2, which should make it faster (if it has enough, my unit only had 8GB, which actually slowed down avg access) it's counterpart had more than 32gb, which improved it access speed across the different channels. The XPS has new type of onboard modular memory, it CL 20, 4 channel; it technically was faster than it's counterparts CL18, dual channel memory. But from my general windows 10 testing, windows prefers at least 16gb memory to become really efficient (just running multiple browser windows.

I show you the back of the XPS13 (2-in-1) to tell you the innards are different from the those not called 2-in-1. All XPS 13 have onboard memory (get at least 16gb); but the 2-in-1 does not have a upgradable nvme m.2 drive. And my benchmarks show about 2500 ops for the included SSD, vs 3400 ops on my upgraded comparison computer (the smaller 256gb size might have also hurt it's potential performance).

I did a number of other networking test and the XPS 13 was exceptional. But after typing on it for hours I loved it's 3 levels of back lighting on the keyboard. but the key travel was short, had less feel than I'm used to. I have year old MacBook Air, I'd say the Del's XPS 13 key travel is similar. As a developer that does a lot of typing, this was a bit of a concern. I'd concentrated on the form factor, and screen size, and performance so much in my comparison. I didn't think that the keyboard might make that much difference.

To be honest I'm still pondering which I will take with me, I wish I'd gotten more RAM. I can take external SSD to deal with the drive size differences. I love the look of the XPS 13, a smaller package the does what I need, but I'm not sure I can live with the keyboard for a long period of time. The graphics performance is darn good, the image quality most excellent, the SSD speed ok, takes (10s) longer to boot than what I compared against. I do wish the XSP 13 2-in-1 was upgradable, there are bigger faster SSD's, and there will continue to be). I was not aware the SSD could not be upgraded, but it's not a deal breaker.

I do like the notebook, almost love it, but not positive it's the perfect match for my needs (I'm sure I'll keep it, just use it differently).

Thin and light, heavy price to swallow...

The Dell XPS 13" 2 in 1... the TLDR: too pricey for low end specs, not recommended.

Lets begin with the stuff that the Dell XPS 13" 2 in 1 excels at:

    > Portability - This little guy is very lightweight coming in a tad shy of 3 lbs and the super slim bezels account for a very portable and small footprint workhorse.

    > Build Quality - The aluminum chassis is top notch with little flex from the screen and keyboard. Aside from the biometric fingerprint power button being misaligned (i was able to nudge it around with my nail to re-align it), there were no noticeable blemishes or observable flaws. This laptop feels like it is durable and can endure many years of use (or abuse depending on the user, wink wink)!

    > Keyboard - Travel and consistency of keys lead to a very comfortable typing experience. The only gripe i have with the keyboard is the page up/down keys sitting above the directional left/right keys, which leads to unintentional page scrolling when i am attempting to use the arrow keys to navigate.

    > Screen - The adoption of the 16:10 screen ratio is one that greatly appreciated, especially for productivity needs.

    > Performance - The Intel i7-1165G7 provides enough computational power for my needs (Software Engineering). Without running benchmarks, i was able to practically feel the zippiness of the CPU in compilation and execution times and how this CPU clearly outpaces my 4th gen i7-4770k rig. When running benchmarks, i was very surprised to see how much processing power the new 11th gen CPUs produce. Though the CPU is capable, the system does bottleneck due to the meager 8GB of RAM. Please consider your workflow and buy the right/required amount of RAM you will absolutely need because the RAM is soldered and not user upgradeable!

    > Thunderbolt 4 Ports - Having two Thunderbolt 4 ports is quite nice, especially now that i'm used to the dongle life (both a pro & a con). The versatility of these ports is amazing and pretty much any peripheral can be connected from USB drives to monitors. I was able to drive my two 4K monitors effortlessly (one connected via a Thunderbolt 3 dock via the first Thunderbolt 4 port and the other into the second Thunderbolt 4 port). Please note, the XPS also comes with one USB Type-C to Type-A dongle, allowing users to connect one peripheral.

Things that the Dell XPS 13" 2 in 1 struggles with:

    > Battery Life (i would like to preface this with the fact that battery life will vary based on usage, so please take my feedback for this particular aspect with a grain of salt) - I could hardly go beyond 5 hours before needing to plugin. Though i do run pretty intensive software (as i'm a Software Engineer), i would've liked to see at least 7 hours out of this machine before charging up as this is an Intel Evo certified product. I typically set the brightness to anywhere around 60% to 80% for normal use, but noticed that if i set the brightness to 40% or less, i can eke out almost 7 hours of use before needing to juice up. Using the laptop on 40% brightness or less though is less than optimal for me and perhaps other users, so i definitely wanted to point that out especially if computationally expensive workflows are common for you and battery life is your biggest concern. Please bear in mind though, my same usage on other laptops, such as my Surface Pro 6 or 2015 Macbook Pro 15, net me around 2-3 hours of usage; so relatively speaking, the XPS' battery life is actually pretty good (and maybe the 9+ hours of battery life requirement for Intel Evo certified laptops are intended for lighter work flows?).

    > Audio - The audio from the speakers in this laptop sounds tinny and when bumping the volume north of 55%, micro-vibrations can be felt from the chassis. I would like to note that the 3.5mm audio jack produces pretty clean audio though. The laptop was able to decently drive my Audio-Technica ATH-R70x open-back headphones (470 ohms) decently without requiring an amp.

    > Ports - There are two Thunderbolt 4 ports (both a pro & con), which has me often reaching for my dongles if i need to plugin additional peripherals (e.g., mouse, thumb drive, etc.) when i'm not docked. Adoption of the USB Type-C form factor is still not there yet, as most peripherals are still USB Type-A; would have loved to see one USB Type-A port on the XPS but it has been omitted for obvious reasons. The last port provided, as mentioned previously, is a 3.5mm audio jack which can be used for microphone + headset output and produces very good audio relative to my hardware.

Though this machine feels premium, there are many things that, especially at this price point, warrant me to highly recommend against it:

    > RAM - For the price, there is only 8GB of RAM. There are many other laptops in this price range that offer double the RAM.

    > SSD - The SSD comes in at 256GB. As with the RAM, there are other laptops in this price range that offer at least double the storage.

    > Screen Resolution - Laptop comes with FHD+ resolution, which is 1920 x 1200. Would have liked to at least have a QHD+ resolution for more clarity, especially at this price point. Other laptops in this price range provide 4K panels.

If you need a 2 in 1 laptop under 14" and 3 lbs, this laptop is a great choice especially when it is on sale. The build quality is top tier and processing power is quite adequate for mostly every day use. However when not on sale, i find it hard to recommend due to the relatively small amount of RAM & storage that comes along with the high price tag.

Sleek Yes, but I miss the built in USB-A ports

This laptop is on the higher end price point wise. I was expecting near perfection. I have one a third of the cost that does a lot of the same things (laptop to tablet function etc, so I was excited to see how much better it performed.) As a tablet, it is great. The sound and picture quality when watching movies is excellent. The colors are vivid and clear. It runs fast and smooth and connects to wifi easily. When doing video calls, the picture of the other caller is crisp and good. However, my image that I send out looks hazy. I tried several apps and changing my background lighting to rule that out. The setting were on the best quality as well. Verdict: the web cam under performs.

Now, as a laptop I was so disappointed to find there were no USB-A ports (the bigger standard looking USB). There are 2 USB-C ports (the size of the newer cell phone charger USBs). The laptop can be plugged into with the power cord from either side on the USB -C ports. There is an SD card slot and a head phone jack port. That's it. No HDMI port either. The only reason I can think of is to keep it "sleek". Instead, the laptop now needs that adapter it comes with, and it's aggravating. When you plug that in, there goes the sleekness out the window. A Bluetooth mouse is practically a must. The other laptop I have (that I referenced earlier that was 1/3 the cost) came with 2 USB -C ports, an HDMI port, a charging port, a head phone jack port, and USB- A port. As a laptop, this needs a USB extender/adapter to allow for all the ports it's missing.

The keys on the keyboard work fine. They don't depress deeply at all. It's not a satisfying experience when typing for me. Almost like I'm typing on a flat board that doesn't give much feedback. I play piano and can type at least 80 words per minute, so maybe that is why I care to mention it. Again, probably done to keep it "sleek."

And finally, when charging the laptop, the indicator light stays white just to let you know it's charging. It won't change to a different color when it's fully charged though.

So depending on what you are after, this could be the right purchase for you. If you are wanting a more traditional laptop experience, I would not choose this. If you are after more of a tablet experience with a little laptop stuff on the side, this might be for you. I had to go 3 stars for the camera deficiencies, high price point, and missing USB and HDMI ports. Those are important for my day to day uses. Sleekness is a cool feature but does not replace functionality. And I can't say I'd recommend it to a friend because the price point is too high for me to not get all the key things I'm looking for in a laptop, and have a web cam that doesn't look crisp in today's remote work/school necessities. I want to look good on my end of the webcam too, just sayin.

The Little 2-in-1 That Packs the Power

I use both Mac and Windows machines for my work and entertainment. The Dell XPS 13” 2-in-1 laptop is my current Windows machine. It’s the XPS9310-7115SLV-PUS and ships with 8GM of RAM and a 256GB SSD and touts the Intel Evo Core i7 processor. The reasons for choosing this model were the low profile, sleek overall build with the next to bezel-less FHD+ touchscreen and ability to use as a laptop or tablet. So far, the XPS has lived up to or exceeded my expectations.

What’s in the box: the XPS 9310 2-in-1 unit, a 45W AC adapter with USB-C connector, a USB-C to SUB-A adaptor and paperwork/quick start guide. The system includes a McAfee® LiveSafe™ 12 Month Subscription and Microsoft Office 30 Day Trial. In terms of a quick start guide, it's pretty straight forward as there is nothing to really set up. Connect the 2 pieces of the power cord and plug in the unit, and you’re ready to customize your system.

    First Impressions:

The Dell XPS 13 is a very modern and low-profile build, using a unique hinge to keep the unit symmetrical when using as either a laptop or tablet. The platinum silver cover and diamond cut sidewalls lend to a high-end look and feel and protects while looking great! It’s small, light and streamlined with minimal in/outputs. Once turned on, the FHD+ touch screen (1920 x 1200 native resolution) is bright and seems larger than 13.4” due to the low-bevel design. Using Cortana to set up, I set the system to use facial recognition using the HD 720P webcam that is included. There’s also a fingerprint reader built into the power button.

    Performance:

I loaded up some of my everyday apps including Microsoft Office and proceeded to open a few up and run multiple apps simultaneously. I then joined a Zoom video meeting to put it into real world environment. The XPS, even with just 8GB RAM plugged along quicker than my current MacBook Air. Applications and windows opened quickly and the video meeting was crisp and without lag. The Wi-Fi 6 hardware seems to connect easily and streaming was superb with no lag. In today’s streaming world, the Dell XPS was up to the challenge!

    Battery Life:

First off, the 45W power cord is very compact and great for the road warriors out there. There is a charging indicator light on the front edge of the system to confirm charging. The battery life is excellent in either laptop or tablet mode. It can easily run for multiple days before needed to be recharged.

    Other Features:

The keyboard is essentially full size which makes it nice for the power users out there. It’s backlit for use in darker environments and the keys have a short throw with a nice haptic click. There’s also a fingerprint reader built into the power button for a simple login.

The FHD+ touchscreen is 13.4” and I found it to be super responsive in tablet mode. The finish seemed to help reduce fingerprints and smudges as well, although the anti-glare finish did pick up glare in sunnier environments. The viewing angle, brightness and crisp graphics all make for a above average user experience.

USB-C to USB-A adaptor – as this system is sleek, there are only the 2 USB-C (Thunderbolt 4) an SD card slot and an earphone jack built in. For users who want to add peripherals, the included dongle is a nice touch. With it, any USB-A peripherals are supported. It’s small enough to simply throw in your bag when on the go.

    Pros:

    - Very well built and modern sleek design is a plus for anyone looking to take the system on the rode

    - Very efficient and powerful system in either laptop or tablet mode

    - Lightweight and easy to use in either mode

    - Loved the touch and throw of the keyboard

    - Display is bright and crisp, even in brighter environments

    - Ease of setup and use

    Cons:

    - Although it’s touted as “easy open” I found it to be a challenge to open as there is no lip on the leading edge

    - Although quiet, the unit did heat up a bit when used in my lap on the couch

Overall, the Dell XPS 13.4” 2-in-1 system is a very well-made system with enough processing power to support most users out there. Sure, if you are a power user, step up to the unit with double the RAM and storage size. This system is lightweight and sleek and great for use as a laptop or tablet at home, the office or on the road. I would certainly recommend this unit to anyone looking for a 2-in-1 setup.

Best Windows Laptop I've Ever Used

I love my MacBook Pro, but I also need a Windows machine for work. I've grown tired of the Surface Pro's and was underwhelmed by my Pro 7. It was time for a new laptop; I wanted something lightweight, touch screen, 2 in 1, and premium. This Dell has been amazing for me so far.

It comes very nicely packaged along with a USB-C charger and a USB-A to C adapter. From the moment I took it out of the box, I knew that this was a premium laptop. It is incredibly sturdy while also being very lightweight. The metal finish looks and feels great as does the material around the keyboard and trackpad. As a Mac user, I have already switched to USB-C peripherals along with a thunderbolt dock that extends to 2 27" 4k monitors. This Dell has an SD card reader and two Thunderbolt 4(!) ports which is all I need. I love that this has the latest Thunderbolt technology since I am so vested in that environment.

The setup of Windows was quick and easy and within minutes I was up and running. After running some Windows updates, I put this beauty to the test and was amazed by its' processing speed, exceptional trackpad and solid keyboard. The keyboard layout is perfect, the backlit keys are nice and bright and the display is gorgeous. The speakers don't blow me away, I was expecting a little more from them. The only other con for me is the fingerprint reader, it does not work 9/10 times. I redid my prints a few times and finally gave up and went with Windows Hello instead. I would much prefer the fingerprint reader and am a bit disappointed that it is useless.

Next I hooked this up to my Thunderbolt dock and was so happy to see the output in 4k on both displays, my Surface couldn't do that! As far as performance, I have been blown away by this XPS. I run Zoom meetings, Teams, stream Youtube TV, Disney+, etc, and have not had a single issue or lag. I have not been the biggest Windows supporter, but with the right machine, it's a great system. This is by far the best Windows machine I have ever used and might just be the best laptop I've ever used period.

Awesome ram, its a show stopper. Just make sure you purchase a 4 stick kit if that is your goal. Corsair ram is made by a variety of manufactures. (Hynix, Samsung, Micron) If youare adding 2 stick to an additional setup it may not be compatiable.

    Fast, and works great

Working great so far, there was a giant proof of purchase sticker on the memory stick itself that kind of looked obnoxious, but I didn't really want to peel it off. I'm hoping it doesn't have any adverse effect on the cooling of the unit.

    Solid, high quality

A little tough to install, due to the height of them, but high quality and very simple. Marked clearly, "cool looking" according to my daughter (for what that's worth). But very tall for DDR4, so it was a bit tough to maneuver inside of the box, and get it latched into place while avoiding pressing up against other components. Still, great quality, better pricing than anything shy of cheap no-name crap from Amazon, and well worth the extra work.

    Dont buy it online.

Never got to use it since the fragile envelope where it was shipped to me in got damaged and damaged the products box. I got it cheaper somewhere else.
