Is it worth spending a premium on high quality speaker cable? If you would have asked me that question prior to me installing these cables I would have said NO 100x over. Now, I have to admit I was wrong. I simply cannot believe the difference in the sound while watching movies since upgrading my cables. The quality and clarity of the sound is beyond my expectations, so much so I have gone back thru my movie library to rewatch movies I’ve seen multiple times over. It’s amazing the fine details sounds that I can now hear, and the quality of the movement in the surround sound.

Long story short. Yes I would recommend upgrading your cables!

Most cables for subwoofers seem a bit extreme as far as pricing goes, so finding a good quality cable for under ten bucks was a good thing to me.

I needed something relatively short since I added a second sub into my Atmos configuration at home, and this second one was right outside of the entertainment center while the other is across the room.

This is a slightly smaller gauge than the other one I have on the other sub, but that has a considerably farther run.

This is one of the very few certified Ultra High Speed HDMI cables for use for HDMI 2.1, 8k, 4k at 120fps. Get this, not some fly by night (or even some "reputable" manufacturers imitation non-certified cables. I have added a photo of the box this came in as well as a photo of what you should expect when you scan the QR code on a truly certified cable (which to be truly certified must be o the box thereby showing it was actually tested. Also, the scan will confirm that the HDMI.org or it's representative have actually tested the cable. Of course the crooked cable makers can fake the label too but they can't fake the result of the scan. The HDMI cable market is one of the biggest cesspools in consumer electronics right now so be careful buying cables. Kudos to HDMI.org for at least getting a start on drawing this cesspool.

Now for the rest of the story: I have an Xbox Series X feeding a Samsung Q900TS 8k tv. With one of the fake cables that claimed to be HDMI 2.1 compatible I could not get the Xbox to use 4k 120 fps. All I did was get a real, certified cable and the 4k 120 fps worked just fine. Don't buy non-certified cables, by doing so you are just encouraging the crooks to keep on making false and mis-leading claims about their cables.

Couldn’t find a way to connect my passive and non passive audio system, quality and durability!

I bought this because somehow my subwoofer requires a left right RCA cable whilst most take on plug.

This cable actually improved the bass response of my system. I was using 16 gauge monster before. This is better being 14 gauge (lower gauge means bigger conductors).

When I bought my system years ago, I used the run-of-the-mill speaker wire you'd normally use for, say, a bookshelf system or vehicle sound system. I've upgraded to these as I could over the years to provide better sound for my home theater system. They're pricey but you can sure see the difference in the sound. They're well shielded; I've never experienced feedback or static from other devices; they're flexible enough to route easily but not so flimsy as to fall apart, unravel, or otherwise degrade. If they were a little less expensive, they'd be a 10. But, sometimes you do get what you pay for and I've never had any issues.

Very high quality . Be wary to buy matching (the insulation is thick) banana plugs.

Unlike hdmi cables there is no certification for the audio cables. There is 20$ cable available is of same specification, but there is no way to verify the claim.

This is my 1st time using AudioQuest cables and thus far I'm satisfied. Solid build quality for both the outer layer and the copper wiring as well. I used the Monster quicklock banana plugs and for much less than the cost of the way overpriced pre-terminated cables (stay away from those-total ripoff) I have custom lengths (3 ft for the center speaker, 7 ft for the fronts) that fit my needs. I definitely recommend these for anyone stepping up their speaker game (I run a Boston Acoustics system).

On a related note, I give much props to the staff of Magnolia-They know their products and the level of service is heads and shoulders above your typical "blue shirt" in the rest of the store.

This review may be premature, as I've been told that long grain copper wires need time to break in.

With that said, I found immediate improvement from my previous 16ga wire; in general the sound seems cleaner in that there is more detail I've not heard previously. In the mid range I find it more defined with more umph (for lack of a better term), however, on the top end, high notes don't seem to be all there? It doesn't seem sharp or crisp.

Overall, I found my listening experience is enriched and I am glad with my purchase, however, I do feel like some life has been lost in sound quality. I hope time will remedy this in it's 'break in' period. Otherwise, I'd like to experiment with bi-wiring these wires in conjunction with my last wires for the top end.

One of the best speaker cables you can buy , Unlike HDMI cables , nobody really certifies a speaker cable , so had to go with a very reputable one.

Never would I have imagined that speaker cables could make this big of a difference in the sound quality of my movies. Not all cables are created equal that’s for sure now that I’ve heard the difference a premium cable can make. These cables have pulled out all the fine details I’ve missed when watching movies and created a whole new surround sound experience. Very happy with them.

This ultra high speed hdmi 2.1 cable does what it says. All HDR and G-sync effects work in gaming and Windows 10. My brand new high speed hdmi 2.0 cable could not do what this ultra speed 2.1 does. Happy with this cable.

I got a fantastic deal on these cables. $40 for the pair. They are thin cables so they can route behind the tv and fit into smaller legs channels to hide the wires. They are indeed 2.1 as advertised so 4k 120 fps is the way to go.

I bought the 4K HDMI cable for my RCA to HDMI converter and realized after the converter was refunded that I had overspent for my intended use. This is the cable I purchased when I downgraded to a Red-White-Yellow (3 Inputs) converter rather than the Red-Blue-Green-White-Red (5 Inputs) converter.

This cable is so good that you won’t be able to find it on the floor in the shelves with it’s more expensive cousins. The only cables you find on the shelves are $25-$35 and are gold plated with rhinestones.. this cable is guarded by the customer service folks. Safely hidden behind lock and key. Only because I checked online and knew it was in stock did I ask as to where it’s mystery location was.. I had to do a secret handshake in order to get it. $8 later my life is complete. It’s almost like Bestbuy doesn’t want you to buy the $8 cables and they want you to buy $25 cables.. my review stands. Great product. Just be prepared to do a scavenger hunt if you are buying in store.

The cable works fine. In store the cable comes in a box but ordering online the cable came in a plastic bag, probably a returned cable repackaged. I asked the associate if I was getting a used cable his answer not unless you ordered a open box item which I didn't.

I needed to purchase new HDMI cables after buying a 4K TV. I was a little skeptical of these Dynex cables because of the price. I was pleasantly surprised after testing them on my peripherals. The 6 ft. Dynex HDMI Cable I ordered works perfectly, it is sturdy and long enough to reach my Dish receiver up to my Vizio TV. I get perfect connection as opposed to my old AV cable.

AudioQuest is well known as the manufacturer of the very BEST high end HDMI, Audio & Video Cables on the market. So it was my brand of choice when I needed to extend an HDMI cable in my drum studio. The existing 25' HDMI cable was hardwired in a drywall wall / ceiling & trying to pull it out & replace it with a longer run would have created a mess.

I ordered this coupler from Best Buy, plugged it in to the existing 25 foot HDMI cable & added a 10 foot HDMI cable to reach the Blu-Ray player.

Purchased a new home. Wife said I want the 4K TVs mounted with no cables showing. Looked into these and glad I did. A bit expensive but they look and work better than expected. Just cut your holes in a cavity, feed your line through and plug. Not a hard install whatsoever. Bought one at first to try it out. Ended up buying two more for the master bedroom and spare bedroom.

This is a terrific solution for those who are looking to hide cables and run them down a drywall cavity. I've approached cable management many different ways throughout my house in different areas. I've used on-wall cable concealers when dealing with concrete walls. When dealing with drywall, I always run the cables in wall. When dealing with a wall that only has the TV, I'll usually add an additional outlet, bridging from an existing outlet. However, if there is an entertainment unit or dresser underneath the TV, then I always use a system such as the PowerBridge. It's more conventional because you don't have to interfere with the existing wiring of your home. PowerBridge is the second cable management system that I've used, with the other being a product by DataComm. The DataComm was fine as well, but I was really impressed by the ease and functionality of the PowerBridge. It was super simple to install. I didn't have to readjust the orientation of any parts. I'd say install took less than 10 minutes. It's occupies a small footprint and still allows for plenty of low voltage cables to be fed through. I would definitely recommend.

We purchased a complete home entertainment system for the whole house from Best Buy. We are completely satisfied! Everything was installed by the Geek Squad. The system included 2 televisions with surround speaker systems and built in wall speakers plus additional Sonos One speakers for the other rooms of the home integrated together.

Great product. My only complaint is if you have to take the outlet out and reinstall it, you’ll likely break the little flaps in the back that hold it in place.

These are the best purchase I've ever made. I have never fallen in love with such an unimportant product as much as I have these. I paid like 7 bucks and got 20 quality velcro straps. I was surprised to find out that there were 10 big and 10 small but that's just because I didn't look at the listing very well. If you have not already bought these and are thinking about it... Buy them. If you are looking at this review for some reason and don't really need these... Buy them. If you do not already own these... Buy them. There is literally no reason not to buy these straps because they are very good and extremely high quality, Buy the velcro straps.

These are perfect and at a great price. I like that there are two different sizes and one package is more than enough to take care of a desktop computer or tv set up. I used these for a mac mini and all of my peripherals. The only issue I would say they have is that the Velcro tries to stick when pulling the strand through the hole. However, it's Velcro, you don't even really need to pull it through the hole.

One of the downsides of owning an ‘’i’’ device is the dongle nightmare, there should be more options in term of dongle choices, like a VGA plus HDMI dongle, because both of them are separated and in my country (Mexico), both standards are very common in educational settings. I bought an adapter from china and I must say I know why this cost so much, the video output is almost free of lag, the Chinese one stutters with animations and stuff. Overall very good, just very expensive and prone to aesthetic damage.

I did not purchase the full delivery service where the Geek squad will install the tv for you. My delivery consisted of placing the tv in the room and helped remove the huge box. From there, I was on my own. My fault, but not my fault that the TV's HDMI ports 1, 2, and 3 were defective. That would not have been an issue but HDMI port 3 was the ARC. You need that one. HDMI port 4 was working perfectly.

What I mean by defective is that the 3 HDMI ports had a piece sticking up inside that blocked the connection from engaging. I put a picture of it on here but you have to enlarge it to see the piece sticking up inside.

So, unfortunately I had to send it back and get the same model with working HDMI ports. Best Buy was great on the return. They scheduled a replacement delivery no problem.

To my surprises the 2nd TV delivered, exact same model, had the exact same issue with HDMI ports 1,2, and 3. Really? Am I going crazy? Is there a new and different HDMI cord that is needed? Nope. There is a mini HDMI connection that exists but the TV has all standard HDMI ports. Nothing special and will accept a standard HDMI cord. The problem was there was something sticking up inside the port.

I called Samsung. The person on the phone told me that the connection was fine and this happens all the time. She told me to push the HDMI cord in the port hard. That was a mistake and not the answer. She did not understand this was a defective HDMI port.

Ok, so I want to exchange this TV again but this time I would upgrade to the QN90A. The problem is that the QN90A is not in stock. Best Buy will not allow me to do it until it is in stock. I guess that makes sense but would love to be able to secure this transaction now.

Moving forward. I was able to move the piece that was sticking up in the port down in HDMI port 3- ARC. It worked! The TV is unbelievable. Very clear and High Definition picture with a ton of brightness and color. If you like Samsung TVs, this will not disappoint.

Still worried about my fix lasting the test of time. This is not Best Buy's fault and recommend them highly on TV purchases. But if anyone from Best Buy or Samsung that reads this can help me, I would appreciate it. Also, I have to believe I did not receive the only two Samsung TVs with this issue but anything is possible.

CAREFUL No instructions, but, there's a rubber cover on the connector and if you don't take it off, it could end up inside your tv or audio making plug in impossible until you use something to fish it out.

I recently purchased a new 4K HD tv that had the cable chase built into the back of the tv. The older Optical cables I had were too thick and stiff to use. I'm running my tv audio for movies and music thru my receiver and everything sounds perfect. These cables had good reviews, a good price and did not disappoint.

I'm rating this as a "5" because the audio cable works and it what was needed to get our headphones to work. The headphone purchase came with two cords which we couldn't use and had to made the additional purchase of this audio cable. Too bad an audio cable wasn't included along with the other cables. Now I have two perfectly new cables that came with the headset purchase in the empty box doing absolutely nothing.

Optical audio is likely the best way to transmit state of the art sound from a video source to an older sound system has hat has optical audio but not HDMI. in this case an LG C9 to an old Yamaha Rv1 with an 8.1 speaker set up. Bass sounds from Netflix and Prime movies are once again shaking the room through a ML woofer and Anthony Gallo Nucleus speakers providing immersive surround sound. The 4’ length is great for connecting the cable box but a little tight for the screen connection so make sure you purchase the right length for your setup. These connected no issues and the packaging was earth friendly (no plastic). Bought two.

First off I was really impressed with this little cable. For a low budget option it really works good and the sound it really good. I have been using it for a little while now and have no problems out of it. I is differently worth checking out if you are not wanting to spend a lot of money.

my place is a little shoe box so i only needed a minimal amount of speaker wire to get my 4 vintage speakers wired. i was asking neighbors if they had some leftover or hoping to find some at a flea market with things being kind of tight as we wait out the pandemic... it was taking forever and i was depriving my own self of listening to NORWEIGEN BLACK METAL... which i find very therapeutic at really high volume... finally i decide to just do it right and get a roll of cable at a decent gauge... within 1 hour i had three noise complaints called in...! one of which stated "i cannot here my own television"... the guy at the desk in my building was getting off the elevator just as i shut my door on the way out... i did not even have to cut a song short... HA...! the moral to the story is self defined...

Use for surround channel speakers in a 5.1 setup. 16 Gauge is perfect for this application, and wire is flexible enough to snake thru walls, Would not recommend for front/center channel speakers.

Decently priced for an in-store cable/wire purchase. Behaves like any 16 gauge speaker wire should. Some people can be snobby about their speaker wire choices in the same way people can be snobby about wine, which if that’s you then this might not be for you. This gets the job done and my home theater is sounding great.

It does what it says: future proofing your in-wall wiring for 8k when that happens.

The only thing of real note is that these kind of wires insist that they are directional, meaning that one end is meant to be in the TV and the other in the input source. Since I was installing these in the wall, I didn't test this claim to see if it actually makes a difference, but just a heads up to anyone installing them in the wall to pay attention to the arrows as it may not work if it is in the opposite direction.

I recently treated myself to a LG OLED and a new sound bar, that takes advantage of ARC, I had some old hdmi cables laying around that I used for a bit, but I was getting a popping sound when I would watch anything, I bought new cables that supported arc and Earc, but we’re about $25 each, same issue, one cable even died. So I finally gave in and bought two of these, to go from my Apple TV in the sound bar, then from sound bar to Tv, problem solved, haven’t had one issue with sound of picture, I would strongly recommend these to anyone

still using old vcr and dvd 5 disc player and it only has the rca connections . I love loading 5 disc and never have to leave the sofa. I'm glad the cables were still available. and just the right length. And works. I didn't know that these cables wear out because I had my olds for so long I had no picture or sound. Tried some shorter ones I had and they work. So bought longer. But I will say I might could have paid a cheaper price if I had looked around, but I wanted now and not wait for delivery.

I bought 2 of these to see f it would my my Movie theater experience better. And it made it outstanding. I have these hooked up to a Epson 6050UB 4K Enhanced Projector on a 150 inch projector screen. These cable are a must for someone wanting to get full potential out of your tv or projector. Definitely worth the $200 a piece I paid for them.

I upgraded from cheap cables from Amazon because I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything from my sound coming from my new Onkyo receiver. I figured if I'm going to have a higher end receiver, I should have higher end cables as well. Whether they are actually making a difference, it's hard to really say. I haven't tried to do a comparison test, but it's kind of like one of those things where I want to know I'm getting the best from my receiver. There definitely wasn't a drastic change in the quality in the sound or video, but it's comforting to know that I'm getting the best quality that I can afford.

Also, these cables are more than durable and will last forever so I would definitely agree that quality of these cables is more than worth it! Also, I heard that these cables can also handle 8K TVs coming from the guy from Best Buy in the Magnolia department. So these cables are good to go for anything that you throw at it!

I highly recommend any cables from AudioQuest!!! Obviously, you don't want to really spend more on your cables than what your setup costs. But you can use your own judgement on that. I don't know if I would buy Vodka HDMI cables or Diamond cables unless your setup really is worth it or if you have the budget for it. Mine currently isn't so I can say they are worth it especially when the Vodka cables cost $300 or more on the low end.

I do not know how many females do lol of the electronic shopping in their homes, but if I left the buying of electronics to my husband, we wouldn’t have any because he is not into them and could care less. LOL. I purchased two of these HDMI cables in August, 2020. It was not on sale. I purchased a new 4K Samsung television during Best Buy’s Black Friday Sale, in November, 2019. The HDMI cable that arrived with the television worked great....until lightening hit our condo in Wisconsin, in June 2020, and destroyed our television, all of the light bulbs in our condo, and our router, etc. Samsung agreed to fix the television, for free, but due to COVID-19 the technicians were no longer doing house calls, so my husband and I had to move the television and transport it to the technician’s shop, and in the midst of moving the television we noticed that the HDMI cable was damaged. The part that connects to the TV came loose and separated itself from the rest of the cable. So freaking strange. So, I needed a high-speed, competent, new HDMI cable and came across this one because it contains 5% silver content, which is a tell tale sign of how great AND efficient this HDMI cable will perform. I purchased the second one to attach to my SONY - UBP - X1100ES - 4K ULTRA HD HI-RES AUDIO WI-FI BUILT-IN BLU-RAY PLAYER - BLACK.

Unfortunately this one was packed in a flat envelope With no padding and sent by USPS. It got squashed. The adapter appears to be intact. I will be able to test it in a couple weeks when the device it goes to arrives.

It never worked. I have a 2020 MacBook Pro and it didn’t fit in any of the four USB-C ports. When I put it in the port, it read,” USB Accessories Disabled. Unplug the accessory using too much power to re-enable USB devices.” I bought the product in June 2020, and didn’t have a need to use it until I started grad school in Jan 2021. Lol soooo can’t take it back, but am highly disappointed. I tried charging my laptop while plugging it into all four USB-C ports and still no luck. :( Don’t recommend..

I ordered this adapter used, but the condition was described as "Open Box Excellent." Well, sadly, it is far from it. The adapter is covered in an array of scuffs on both sides and the cord has some weird color stains on it (see photos attached). It has clearly been in use for a while.

Overall verdict: pretty disappointing.

Needed to connect an amplified speaker at the other end of the room to the projector so the sound comes from the screen and not behind the projector. Tried using an old wireless HDMI solution with a splitter to do this, but I suspect it was conflicting with the 5GHz WiFi and hence would get staticky at times.

Hard wiring this solved the problem and was a cleaner look overall.

You definitely need a stronger connection than the small jack, it’s very possible you could pull out the smaller wire and ruin your podcast, zoom, video production, you name it. Using the bigger jack of possible is the only “safe” way to go…

I purchased with my new Sony tv I got from Best Buy and it works great. It is plenty long and hooked right up to my tv with no problems.

I did not use it, because it was not needed. I was trying to install a tv antenna (cutting the cord). Instructions indicated it might be needed, so I purchased as a just in case. Other Rocketfish products I have purchased have worked great!

after getting a new and new tech current tv and new bluray 4k players ,,, they have a single RCA audio connector on them ... so i bought this set to play with ... and just connected it to my receiver and it didn't work .. well then i did not know ,, did not read ,, did not research it ... until i finally got a digital to analog converter and hooked it up .. and it worked .. but the reality of this type of cable is a lot more simple .. after i investigated what this is ...

so if you continue to read this my review ... here is a tip .. this cable is not that generally different with just any other cheep RCA connector cable you have around already ... it is just a single center wire and sleeve wire ,, which is just 2 wires for a signal to be carried ...

the only diference with this digital audio cable is the shielding is better ,,, so you would have less or no chance of interference with your audio ... which is why it cost more as a most simple and easiest why to describe this .. but of course there is more tech too ,,, but you have to research that yourself now ..

Excellent cable. Designed for running through walls, so very heavy duty, thick cable. Wouldn't use for everyday hookups. Picked it up to run from a pro camera at work to a monitor. Cord was stiff and I might have preferred a more flexible cable, but it seems like this one is designed to stand wear and tear.

In combination with a screen, sound bar and wall mounting system, my installer situated the screen to my specs and other than the challenges of my own learning curve, this TV has worked well. (I've not owned a TV in 5 years, and the last TV purchased was in 1992.) The cables were slipped through the wall, such that I have minimal wires showing.

I can’t say enough good things about Audioquest’s quality and consistency. I’ve been using their cables for years and they never disappoint. The Black Lab series does just what it promises. I used to have custom cables fabricated because I knew exactly what I wanted for specific applications. The Black Lab series hit my specs almost exactly for low frequency signals so I tried it out and I’m very satisfied with the results.

Works as advertised. I have always used Audioquest and yes they can make a difference. Audioquest cables are very good at rejecting EMI and RF so your signal reaches it's destination un-molested.

I have a Klipsch home theater, you have to have high quality wires to get the most out of your system.

My subwoofer cables were sent to me a week before the team came to set my equipment up in my den. The men showed me where they went in the event that I needed to move my equipment. I thought that having that information was a very smart idea and I made a diagram for it if I ever needed to move anything.

This is a well made quality cable. Using to connect my subs to my receiver. Had to return the first cable as after about two weeks of working flawlessly, it just stopped working. Nothing changed once connected so not sure what happened. Best Buy exchanged the cables no questions asked. The second cable has worked very well. I like the idea of the directional arrows but not sure if it makes much of a difference in sound quality.

I purchased another device (cheaper) like the Belkin but it would not work on my MacBook Air. The cheaper device did work on my other MacBook Pro, however. So, now we have one adapter for the Macbook Pro and one for the MacBook Air. I hope you found this review helpful.

The plug is pretty hefty and I thought it may not fit on my MacBook Air when using the USB plug next to the Mini Display port. But I'm happy to report that my worries were unfounded. This plug was about half the price of the one at the Apple Store!

I am very happy with this in wall kit. If you’re handy with tools, you won’t have any issues with this install. Keep in mind, this does require you to cut into your drywall. It’s not by any means difficult, but it is a bit “scary” and you want to make sure you get it right otherwise you will have damaged your wall. Take your time and has the proper tools that this install calls for and you’ll be fine. For me, this install took about an hour. Most of the time was trying to get the wires fished through the wall. The online video by Legrand shows a VERY easy install with no insulation behind the drywall, which of course would make the wires go through incredibly easy. Depending on where you are installing this kit, you may run into insulation so keep that in mind. You absolutely WILL need a guide rod if you run into insulation and the kit does not come with that. Other than that small speed bump (has to go back to HD for a rod), the install went nice and smooth and looks incredibly clean with no wires visible. I am very happy with this kit and have ordered another for the master bedroom. I highly recommend this kit.

I have had an ugly wall channel to hide my cords for years. The sticky back always came off the wall and I always had to reattached which always ended up being crooked.

Luckily I bought a new TV and decided to take the plunge on one of these kits. I consider myself a avid DIYer but was worried about what was behind my old plaster walls and if I could run cords thru them. Luckily I had plenty of space and this kit was an easy install.

Make sure to use the brackets to draw out your cut-outs and first drill each corner with a drill bit. Next use a jigsaw to cut those lines and pull the piece of wall out from the hole. Run your cords down the wall (a fish tape is a big help with this) and make sure they can pull thru the brackets and openings on the faceplates.

Once you do all that, connect everything up and voila! You have the nice clean TV setup that looks like it was installed like a pro! Before and after pictures attached

Legrand makes great in wall power options. 2nd time using them because I had to add a sound bar for my new home system and works perfectly. Make sure you have a drywall cutting tool and cord fishing option because this kit doesn’t have them included. BB associate said it did, but no worries looks great could be happier. Also I am not a DIY guy so you can definitely do this.

I did not want the cords to be hanging down from my TV. The cables across the fireplace mantel were covered with white strips and it is completely hidden.

It's a cable and does the job of transmitting the audio signal. Works perfect for what I needed. Are there better cables? Probably, but if you just need a cable to transfer the audio and don't care if it's the best quality, it's fine.

Simplistically perfect. It doesn't "just" fit, but actually provides great physical feedback that the connection is secure. Won't find any "gold-plated" nonsense or anything else to jack up the price. It just works and works well.

We listen to books downloaded to my phone. When traveling we use this cord to connect the phone to the car stereo. It works great. It's long enough that it could be used ffom the back seat.

Bought one them (NS-HZ517) last week and it worked great. I just bought another one today (NS-HZ517), got home, took it out of the new, unopened package and noticed immediately that each cable diameter is smaller that the one I got last week. It's the same model # as the last one I got. Insignia doesn't list a wire gauge in the description so I'm wondering if they did some behind the scenes cost cutting in manufacturing by either reducing the wire gauge or the thickness of the insulation. I'll take it back tomorrow and see if the other package on the shelf is the same. I want the thicker one if it's available. INSIGNIA should list the wire gauge in the description

Best buy brand exceeded my expectations again, I know these are usually for video composite inputs, I am using them for connecting my Marantz receiver to my 5 channel power amplifier, man all i can say is my B&W speakers have expanded my perception of listening to music and movies and they were on sale

We brought a Karaoke machine with us from the Philippines and it didn't come with all the cables to connect to the other equipment so we needed to buy a couple of things to get this piece going. It took my Brother-in-law in the Philippines to help to connect everything because it doesn't have the same connection color code. He is an electronics wiz and it took him a couple of hours to figure it out. In the end IT WORKS GREAT.

Turns out Best Buy doesn't sell what we needed, either in the store or online.

Okay I get it. It is device that we use to connect the devices that we love, but having a good cable sometimes can be just as important as the device itself. If you are looking for a qality picture, sound or just providing the right amount of power to your devices you want a good cable or power cord to connect those devices. Now is not the time to go cheap because you get what you pay for. For example, if you spend several hundred dollars on a good TV that provides a good picture a cheap HDMI cable is not going to cut it. If you want good sound from you optical device again you have to pay for quality. If you want good network connections then again why be cheap LOL! The last example is a good power cord because how many products can be damaged through poor power cables. So in conclusion do what you want but for me a quality cable is important after spending hundreds of dollars on a device.

Easy to hook up to audio on t.v. Purchased this to hook up to audio instead of hdmi.

I had to buy this because the soundbar i bought from bestbuy isnt working through the HDMI. The optic cable is working well but thw sound quality through HDMI is much better.

Bought a Samsung Series 7 HD 4K Tv. Only problem is that there is only two HDMI ports. I have Apple TV, PS5, Xbox Series S, & Nintendo Switch. So the minimal HDMI’a posed a problem. I ended up plugging all 3 consoles in to this and it works great. There is a button in the front right corner to switch between devices. Works great

This is a very convenient little box. I got it to connect my components to my TV that only has 2 HDMI ports. I got the satellite box, Xbox and PS5 connected without any issues.

This is exactly what I needed. My TV only has two HDMI inputs, but I needed to plug in more things. This plugs into one of the inputs and gives you three. Very simple to push the button to switch between inputs, even for an someone who is not tech savvy like myself. This product completely eliminated the annoying need to unplug and re-plug between whatever I needed to use. I used two Command Strips to adhere it to the back of the TV, but it could probably be adhered to the bottom as well if your TV is mounted to the wall. 10/10, great product.

I didn't even know a product called a "Switch" existed until I started doing Google and YouTube searches to solve a problem I have. Most users probably have one laptop/computer and want to output their screen onto 2 different external monitors. In my case, it's the opposite. I have 2 different laptops but only 1 external monitor to use. One laptop is used for my work related apps. The other laptop is used for personal stuff. I don't want to mix my work and personal stuff together on the same laptop. In order to switch back and forth having 2 separate laptops connected to the single monitor, I would have to unplug one HDMI cable from the first laptop and plug in the other HDMI cable for the second laptop. This would be a physical hassle and too much trouble so I don't do it. But lo and behold, this Insignia 3 Port HDMI Switch device perfectly solves the answer to my dilemma. With all the HDMI cables properly connected into the Insignia Switch, I can now simply press the "SELECT" button which cycles through the HDMI selections of up to 3 different HDMI devices. Since I only have 2 laptops connected to the Switch, the 3rd selection is left blank in case I need to expand in the future to add something else. So my 1st laptop is connected to HDMI selection #1, and my 2nd laptop is connected to HDMI selection #2. If I want to view the screen content from either laptop 1 or 2, I can simply press the physical select button on the switch. There is a usually a few seconds of wait time for the new signal to appear on the monitor after pressing the select button, but it's much better than the physical time consuming work of having to unplug different HDMI cables back and forth. Plus my monitor is 4K including one of my laptops, so the Insignia Switch is able to support the 4K resolution. Before coming across this Insignia Switch device on Best Buy website, I almost got one of those $10 knock-off no-name switch devices from Amazon, but I read reviews that they are cheaply made. This Insignia device is very sturdy and well made and I have confidence it will last quite awhile. 5 stars for this device for solving a problem I had for many weeks!

It works as advertised although I wish it would auto-switch to the proper input when it senses it power on. Intuitive on set up and nothing difficult. Repaired an outlet.

This product is easy to use and set-up. The previous splitter I hooked up did not work for all three of my devices. This splitter is powered and I believe that is why it works better than the non-powered one I had.

I purchased this product because I wanted to hide all the cords associated with my new Televison and the additional components. My salesman suggested this and although I thought it was a bit pricey, it did exactly want I expected

This is a great product if you plan on mounting a Sonos Arc and TV don't want any cords showing. Magnolia supplied me a different Sanus mount and in-wall kit. I exchanged mine for the official Sonos Arc mount and this kit which is in my opinion, better, if you want a nice clean look. Geek squad did a great job with the installation, although they're not used to using this kit. We were able to get three hdmi cables and an ethernet cable through the top hole but it's a tight squeeze.

When the lockdown for COVID-19 started, I decided to organize things around the house so I went to Best Buy and found this product. I was a little hesitant to purchase it due to the price Point (it’s a little expensive), but I looked at it as a great investment and how beautiful my tv was going to look.

The instruction in the box made it super easy to install everything. All the tools need for installation are included in the box and clear images to walk you through the process.

Awesome solution to hide horrible wires from an on wall installation. The soundbar insert might be visible if you have a thinner soundbar and do not take the time to measure and install accurately, but if you do take your time the result is awesome! Well worth it and the elbow grease to clean up the wires.

I used this for an HDTV and an Apple TV - don’t have a sound bar but left the option open. It was easy to install and comes with what you need (minus drill and a pencil - you supply your own). The final product is amazing and clean - and now the cats don’t play with the wires and the wall has clean sight lines and also there is ample room for expanding electrical connections to the tv.

I bought this kit so I could mount my Tv and Soundbar on my wall without showing the cables. I watched a few YouTube videos on how to properly install this kit and itwas pretty straight forward. Everything looks great after installation and I am extremely happy that I bought this kit. Only knocking one star off due to the price, I believe it should be a tad bit cheaper.

Love this product. Clean no wire look without the big price. Please note: check components before you start install. Screws and butterfly brackets were missing from center (sound-bar) outlet. It was installed before i noticed. The Best Buy manager was very nice about getting the components I needed.

Also may take much more time to install than stated. Depending on amount of insulation behind drywall and distance, feeding the wires may be a challenge. Take your time and be patient.
