Our dryer broke and didn’t think it was worth fixing it, so decided to go with this model. So far it’s working very well. The only downside is the lent is kind of hard to clean out. You have to run it under water to clean out all the lent. Other than that it does exactly what you would expect from a Samsung dryer.

The space is phenomenal!! My boyfriend & I have no kids so it’s technically a household of 2 ; however, we have Siberian Huskies so we wash blankets & other items a lot !! The ability of the dryer to not only dry thoroughly very quickly the hair it traps is unbelievable!!!

Very pleased! Replaced an older Samsung dryer that I had on a pedestal/drawer that I was going try to use. They were not able to use so we had the new washer and dryer stacked. We stacked the pedestals and put a top on for folding clothes and worked out fantastic!

Install by Best Buy was a joke. Made me buy the kit for them to install with the dryer. The guys didn’t use it and just jammed the old vent into the dryer (flattened)! Didn’t notice till they left and after I tipped both of them $40 each! I ended up having to redo the entire thing myself.

Smooth sailing. After working with a 15 year old washer / dryer, it's amazing to see the differences. Loads dry much faster. Although it doesn't have the bells and whistles of coming with an app, it gets the job done. If my washer / dryer was exposed (not behind a closet or door), I would have gotten the silver or other color because the white just looks plain. But for our purposes, only we will see it and it gets the job done. I'm short and I have to step on my toes to reach the dryer, but that's not a big deal to me. It took a little getting used to the buttons (not push buttons, just hold for start for example) but it's fine.

Disappointed it came complete with dents like maybe I got a floor model instead of new , who knows. And would have thought after purchasing I would have gotten my paper work on purchase of dryer and five year extra warranty

I purchased this dryer with the matching washer. I love it. The dryer is easy to use. The clothes get dry very quickly. So, it doesn’t need the full 60 minutes to dry. A neat feature is that the clock will add on minutes if the clothes are not dry. That is a good thing to save time and money. The installation guys did an excellent job in installing my washer and dryer.

Our new home didn't have a washer/dryer set so we purchased these. We don't go to settlement for a couple more weeks but are very excited about the purchase.

The wrinkle guard and interior light are our favorite features. Only complaint is it should come with the connecting cable when you purchase the washer and dryer set.

We are in love with our new Samsung Dryer! As with our matching washer, we chose the Ivory color with stainless accents that keeps the dryer looking very modern. The Smart dial learns your routines and puts your regular used settings first. The dryer drys the clothes very fast compared to our previous Samsung model. The steam feature allows me to freshen up an article of clothing to take out the wrinkles quickly. The wifi features paired with the Smarthings app make my life so much easier. I'm able to set and monitor my loads directly from my phone. Love getting the notifications on my smartphone/smartwatch letting me know that my load is completed. This dryer can be controlled as well from my matching washer when using the stacked features. We opted to put the units on matching pedestals. The dryer senses when the clothes are dry and doesn't let the unit run longer than needed - being more energy-efficient. There's a vent sensor that notifies when it needs cleaning. That's a great safety feature for us so we don't have any fire hazards. The light inside is so bright so we can see our laundry and not miss that sock that normally goes missing. There's a lint filter indicator and also notifies me when the lint trap needs to be cleaned. We normally clean it after every load to be more efficient. My laundry comes out so dry and warm and smells so clean.

Awesome! These were more expensive then I wanted to spend but I’m glad I spent the extra!! It was well worth the money spent! Washes clothes really well and lots of different options for all types. And very easy to use. The dryer does everything but fold the clothes! I never liked to wash clothes before but now I don’t mind it!

Nice dryer from Samsung. I was looking for something that does steam dry that doesn't require gas line. This product is way more better in the market.

I love my new dryer! The overall design is sleek, modern, and has definitely given my older laundry room the updated look it has needed. It is just as easy to operate as its matching washer. I love the extra large capacity which allows me to dry even my largest comforters and blankets in no time at all. It also has an abundance of cycles and settings too choose from depending on what you are drying. It also came with a shoe rack which is quite convenient for anything you prefer to rack dry. A couple of my favorite cycles are the Towels cycle which is perfect for drying my bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths, as well as the Wrinkle Away cycle which is perfect for removing wrinkles from my lightweight tops. I also love the Sensor Dry feature that automatically optimizes the time and temperature of my drying cycle. The dryer knows how long it needs to run depending on which settings and cycle you select, which allows it to be energy efficient and not run longer than it needs to. I am loving how warm, fluffy, and dry everything comes out. This dryer also has Artificial Intelligence so it will remember your most frequented cycles and settings if you want it to which is very convenient. Another unique feature this dryer has is it will run a Vent Blockage Test which will inform you if you have any lint buildup or blockages anywhere throughout your entire dryer vent that leads outside. The new (DVE50A8600E) Samsung dryer I received is fantastic with the AI-powered Smart Dial. It makes it a breeze to work with. Having the super speed dry helps to get the job done in 30 minutes; it really does help when needing to get out of the house in a hurry. With Covid been a factor of daily life at the moment, the steam and sanitize+ for that added peace of mind knowing that 99.9% of germs and bacteria will be killed. Having Wi-Fi connectivity is a big plus, especially for me, as I love being in control from anywhere. I was interested in the stacking option, and having the multi-control really helps instead of reaching up high; you can control the dryer from the washing machine where you can use the diel of your washer to control both units when they are stacked. I love having the sensor dry function as it really gives the dryer a mind of its own and can really help save from over-drying your clothes, and having a large capacity really does help get the work done quickly so I am very satisfied with the capacity of the dryer. Having the 19 preset dry cycles really helps for easy decision-making when drying the clothes my favorite dry cycle is the normal setting. Having the 5 temperature settings and 5 dry levels really gives the power of how you want your clothes dried. I would highly recommend the dryer to any family to keep the family on top of all the drying its so much better than my old dryer. This Samsung dryer is amazing, it doesn't even make noise when is drying, and we love all the features, like the drying rack, steam, be able to choose the cycles we used more often, like towels, bedding, heavy-duty, is just amazing! I really like that is connected to the app smart things from Samsung, it notify me when my laundry is done to get it out of the dryer, and since my laundry room is in the basement this is perfect, I don't have to go downstairs to check the laundry or forgot about it, I also get notifications on my Samsun tv, so amazing things I am still trying to find out. I can also hear the music when the laundry is done, which is new for us, the dryer design is amazing, wife is happy, my wife is so happy, happy wife happy life!

I love this dryer! The design is sleek and the color is more of an ivory. It has so many features, like the washer. My favorite feature is the the WiFi capability, so I know when my clothes are done! This dryer is so high tech it's amazing, because it allows me to choose the cycle I need for the current situation at hand. It even has a way to remove wrinkles, so now I don't have to iron as much. This Samsung dryer also comes with a rack that, at first I was unsure what to do with, but after reading through the manual I was able to learn more about my new dryer. I'm still trying to get the hand on this new dryer and all the amazing features. I notice that if I don't put it in for long enough, some of the heavier clothes aren't drying completely. The best feature of all is the lint reminder. It always makes me check before each cycle, or it alerts me when it needs to be cleaned. How awesome is that?! My next cycle I will try the Sensor Dry and see if it works better than the preset cycles. #TheInsiders

I love that I can add this dryer to my Smarthings app and be able to see how long I have left in the dryer, and since my laundry room is in the basement I don't have to go downstairs and check if my clothes are done since I get a notification on my phone or smartwatch. This dryer is truly amazing, I can choose the cycle I need, if I am in the rush I can choose super speed, or heavy loads heavy-duty, activewear, bedding, delicates, and more. Love my Samsung dryer! It dries my clothes super fast and I'm able to dry a large load of clothes with no problem. I also love that it sends notifications thru Smart Things to let me know when the clothes are done and let's you know if there are any issueswith the dryer itself. Very happy with purchase!

This is the quietest washer we have ever had, which is wonderful! The tub is very large and helps cut down on the number of loads we need to do. Still getting familiar with the electronics, but all in all I think we have most issues figured out.

Love my dryer, only problem when it thinks clothes are dry they might not be. And will keep stopping.

Tons of settings. See through door and drum light are a huge plus. I happen to have a Samsung galaxy note 9 so the wifi connection is another bonus.

BLUF: Works great, compact, and small, but usually takes 2 hours for a regular load of laundry for me

I bought this set for use in my garage and didn’t need huge capacity, but I’ve found they fit a good bit. Glad I purchased these overall

Dry Times (my average estimate):

- Regular load of clothes - 2 - 2.5 hours

- Sheet - 2.5 - 3 hours

- Blankets - 4 hours

Pros:

- Looks good

- Option to condense water into reservoir (seen in picture) or into a water line

- Stacking kit is included with the set

- Time estimates have been reasonably accurate

- LED light inside

- Doesn’t generate much heat to surrounding space, but give off a clean clothes smell in the space

- Quiet

- Wi-Fi - Thought this was gimmicky, but with it being in the garage it’s nice to get a notification when it finishes (can’t hear it in the house at all)

Cons:

- Controls are more complicated than the GE I had in my last house

- Secondary lint filter to clean occasionally (I do it monthly-ish)

- No “low heat” option - It has Normal, Energy Saver, and Air Dry. Supposedly the energy saver is sort of low, hasn’t messed anything up yet

- Need to take clothes out right away to avoid wrinkles - Humidity is still in the dryer otherwise

Note: Trust the dryer when it thinks clothes are dry. The first time I thought they felt wet and kept starting it on timed dry (like 6 hours total). Come to find they feel dry until you get them out and they start to cool down. Woops

This unit is night and day better than the old "GE" unit I replaced. Both this and the matching washer has a lot of features I will never use but it dries (and for the washer washes) well. And way quieter...it's not silent but there are times it's on and I forget it's running till that stupid little tune it plays when the cycle is done.

Excellent space saver with a multitude of features. No need for exhaust and dries extremely well. For tjose concerned with damped clothes, be sure you will be satisfied.

This dryer is used to dry multiple loads of clothing. Since I received it, I have not have any problems with my clothing drying completely. It's compact and fit into the allotted space. I would recommend buying this dryer. The dryer was delivered on the delivery date and between the time. I was contacted prior to the delivery date and time.

Love this dryer. I can't vent in my apartment, but there was a nook for W/D with water hookups and outlets. I did a ton of research on W/D combos, condenser dryers, etc,; I considered Miele and Bosch. At the end of the day I went with this one because Best Buy could deliver locally and Miele was hard to find.

I'm really glad I did. I read a lot about compromises with heat pump dryers before I got this, and while the feel of the clothes after drying is a bit different, they're dry, hot and less wrinkled than in vented dryers I've had. I feel like it bakes clothes less and treats them better. I also love the lint filter - it's silly, but the slotted lid keeps lint contained as you bring it over to the trashcan, the two layer design makes it easy to prevent lint from getting into the dryer and both are easy to clean. It's better than any lint filter I've had on a vented dryer. Awesome that there's no other foam filter to clean on it like other heat pump dryers.

Lots of settings and flexibility, works with your phone and can be controlled remotely.

Its capacity is a bit small because you need to leave room. If you're willing to wait up to 3 hours or more, you can definitely shove a ton of stuff in there (not sure if this is good for it; I haven't needed to often). Generally to get a "full" (half total cu ft of the washer) load from the matching washer done, count on 1.5-2hr. For a blanket, towels, sweatshirts - more like 2.5-3hr.

There are times when fabric is heavy or load is large, it doesn't get it all the way done on the first round - this has been the case with vented dryers for me in the past - I just give it 30 more min and it's all good.

I have it draining to a wall pipe, but I've taken the water tray out out of curiosity and it seems easy to empty.

Two other notes - one, it creates some heat, especially when not on the energy saver mode. I usually leave the window in the room its in open to help with this, but YMMV. Two, it makes some noise when it's gearing up - sort of a high pitched noise. But it's not very loud and it goes away pretty quickly.

Love it overall, big recommend.

This would receive a 5 star rating from me if the unit had been moved out of range of the vanity doors opening and shutting. to hide the unit and get to the unit better. (Not the fault of LG) I'm much too weak to move the unit. The washer/dryer unit takes getting used to with the various washing/drying options, but does a terrific job on cleaning. The more I learn, the better I am loving! Drying time is much longer, but is worth it due to being vent-less and not having lint going onto everything, even with a vent-less ceiling fan running. Holds more than I thought. Easily will wash queen size sheet set or blanket. Very impressive unit! I do wish the dryer door had been reversed when installed. If you're looking for a smaller washer/dryer don't hesitate in purchasing this combo.

Love my dryer! It is easy to determine what setting to use for what. For all my sports cloths just hit the sports setting. These items are usually made of a stretch material that doesn't need to be dried as long and should be dried at a lower temp. It does just that. It has a wireless connection that tells me when the clothes are finished so that I don't forget and leave them in to wrinkle.

Was disappointed that the delivery guy wouldn’t change the door to the other side as we had ordered it per the instructions. So we were forced to order another dryer that a door came down in the front. This dryer works well.

Upon unboxing the dryer it did not have the near the amount of packaging and protective lining that the washer had. There are scratches on the front door. Before moving the dryer it sounded like loose parts from underneath. After getting into position 2 screws fell out from the bottom. We will be hooking it up later so will edit to see if it works. It is very aesthetically pleasing.
