Recently had my TCL TV mounted on the wall and purchased this soundbar because I wanted a clean look without running additional cables behind the wall. Really impressed with the sound quality so far when watching movies and playing video games, pairs well with the Roku Subwoofer. Very happy so far, blows my ancient seven year old Yamaha soundbar out of the water.

Was going to go with the roku streambar but picked this due to the fact its totally wireless and around the same price with the black friday sales. Audio sync has been flawless, sound is great. May pick up another as a gift for the holidays.

Set up couldn’t be any easier. True plug and play. Pair with Bluetooth to your phone and stream Spotify or pandora. Sound is a huge improvement over the tv speakers. Dialogue boost and nighttime modes work as advertised.

I have been impressed with TCL TVs for a few years. The blend of value, performance and simplicity just stand apart from other brands. This soundbar is a PERFECT solution for me. I don't have to figure out how to hide the HDMI cable like my existing bar and sound quality is actually better than the Vizio bar I was using before!

Winegard gets it! I was a bit hesitant to purchase this antenna as I haven't had much luck with previous antennas from other brands. This antenna was easy to put together and once I was ready to mount it, the channel finder app saved me loads of time trying to point it! The app told me exactly where to point the antenna to get the most channels and also helped me to pin point specific channels I wanted to get. Amazing product and definitely worth the investment. I'm now enjoying crystal clear local channels in HD for free! I highly recommend this antenna!

I researched this antenna for hours on YouTube prior to purchasing it. All good reviews. The antenna is lightweight and assembles easily. I live 45 miles from the Springfield, Mo. broadcast towers and the Winegard picked-up 60 channels with ease. Beautiful HD picture! Great way to cut the cord! Highly recommend.

So far it’s working. The problem is it gets about an hour and battery life and the power cord is too short. Overall I’m happy with the hi res picture and ease of screen mirroring and autofocus

This projector has an awesome picture for how compact it is! I can take it anywhere with ease, which I do! It's great for movie night, football parties, gaming with friends, and anything else you can think of really. It also comes with outlet adaptors so it can be used in different countries when traveling. I love that there are options to easily connect it to my devices. I can connect wifi effortlessly and AirPlay from my phone (I use Apple, though there is an option for Android as well) and the mini HDMI and USB-C make it a breeze to connect my MacBook and Nintendo Switch. The size, sound, and picture quality are amazing for the price!

I love these little speakers!! They're so cool. And there are so many to pick from. The sound that comes out is ok but I buy them for the designs not the sound quality. If you're looking for a speaker that's going to be bumping this isn't the speaker for you, it's not a Bose, lol. But if you're looking for a speaker that's cool looking & sounds good then you might want to invest in one.

The tv came very well packaged with extra padding as it's heavier than normal 75inch tvs. We took our time and had the tv wall mounted with the recommended SAMSUNG WMN4277TT/ZA 2020 65" & 75" The Terrace Wall Mount. Setup was a breeze my Samsung phone had the smarthings app that recognized the tv and asked me my recommended viewing apps and told me I was ready to watch tv. 68 degrees with sunshine and I had 0 viewing problems this tv is plenty bright and features such intelligent mode with is Einstein for outdoor viewing automation. A handsome Metallic brushed water resistant Remote that James bond would be jealous of. We had options! Options galore!! Ambient mode that uses a picture of the surrounding wall and blends the tv with a look that makes it a chemilion, how fascinating. We are sure to enjoy our days and nights outdoors with this magnificent beauty. Samsung has made vast viewing angles and the brightest picture in any outdoor tv yet. For grilling days and campfire nights this is sure to entertain.

When I first received the information on this TV I was a bit skeptical about it’s performance. I did additional research on the TV and was happy with the 4K & QLED specifications as well as its ability to handle bright Sunlight, which is general constant for us 9 months out of the year. I was somewhat familiar with the Samsung HDTVs as my Daughter purchased one last year, and has been happy with it as will. My Wife loves the Built-in APPS and TV Stations that comes with it. The Waterproof Remote is easy to figure out and use. The setup was easy and went with out a hitch, I am glad I also got the Sound Bar, as the built-in speakers are dual and monolithic. I can't believe how good the picture is and how easy it is to control with either the remote or the APP on my phone. All of the menus are very intuitive and easy to use. I was a little bit concerned with it’s condition, as the box it was in was damaged in transit, but it seems to fair well traveling halfway across the US. CONS -- The Down Side Bummer was and I was not happy with the fact that Samsung didn’t ship the Wall-Mount unit with the TV, which is the Normal thing to due. So I had to buy one even after asking why it wasn’t included , without any responses, which makes me wonder about their support. Thus, I decided to place mine inside my Living Room were we get constant sunlight and with Winter approaching made no since to mount outside at this time.. We recently finished our outdoor patio and were in the market for an outdoor television to entertain our children. We searched online for days until we decided the Samsung Terrace was the winner for our needs. The installation was a breeze too. We went with the Samsung Terrace mount to get that “no gap” look, and we are impressed with the finish product. This outdoor television outperforms any set we have ever owned. Just got my Samsung "The Terrace" 75" TV up and running. I decided to attach mine to a movable cart so it can be pushed around my deck. First, this is a bright TV. You really can watch it in sunlight! I also got the sound-bar, and the sound is great. Hookup was easy, but it takes two people to hang the tv. This set is quite heavy at over 100 lbs and you can feel how sturdy it is. No cheap plastic here. Setup went well. Internet and app connections were normal and easy. I will add more details as I do more, but so far both the brightness and high refresh rate are great!!! I love the way the cords are feed out from a waterproof compartment. You feed them through a gasket after removing a "barbell" shaped rubber stopper. Frim fit. The remote is solid, and feel substantial! i received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest opinion. As the title shows the shows this is the brightest TV i have ever had the pleasure of seeing but more on that later. First the build. This TV is solid with an all aluminum build. It makes it very heavy but that is exactly what you want if it is to be mounted in on open area. The inputs section has a rubber plate covering it with grummets that takes cable management to the next level. Even grummets that are not in use have rubber plugs to prevent water from getting in. All these makes it very clean and pretty when installed. Overall solid and build. Now the screen. I got the 75 inch and its beautiful. It gets very bright, and i mean really brighten detail is ever lost even in direct sunlight. It has very good viewing angles too. No issues seeing content where ever you sit.it is not oled but blacks are very deep. The software it runs (Samsung Tizen) is very fast. it has so many features and any app you can think of. Streaming is fun and i have not experienced any lagging since i started using it. Wireless casting from any device is smooth. it even has picture-in-picture (pip) when casting from an android device. The multi view feature allows you to even display cast screens side by side. Gaming is fun on this tv. It can do 4k at 120fps.It is very smooth. The tv automatically determines the connected console and switches to the input which is convenient. Gaming mode automatically switches on. I can go on and on about this TV but the truth is its incredible. It is a true outdoor tv and can also be installed in a bright room. wonderful engineering.

It took two strong people to mount and a third to help steady it afterwards while connecting the applicable wiring. It has a HDBase-T connection, which basically is a built-in CAT6 Lan connection where you run ONE CAT6 cable from the Samsung Terrace 75” Television to a HDBase-T transmitter, where all your devices are connected to. Thus, eliminating almost all the cable runs to the back of the TV except the POWER, very nice. Once all the connections are made, the back door is closed and screwed back, sealing it shut. The remote is solid, encased in metal, very sleek and solid. The Samsung Terrace 75” Television is a solid metal frame, 2 inches deep. 110 pounds or so, heavy and solid, made to weather the outdoors. Obviously not in the direct sunlight, but in the shade it works great. There are no shadows that I saw. The view is great from all sides. The screen is the brightest available as outdoors the sunlight can be very bright. The view is good. 4k is crystal clear, placing the setting is auto adaptive and it does the rest for you. The setup was very easy for me. I have a Samsung account so I was able to VERY quickly use my phone to log in and setup the Samsung Terrace 75” Television. The app registered the TV, setup it up in the SmartThings app and even setup the TV profile for the SmartHub app from another TV. I think the whole process was done in less than 20 minutes. I was amazed. The Samsung Terrace 75” Television is a beauty and we love it.

We unboxed and mounted our TV on our patio today, the TV is very sturdy, has an amazing picture, and was fairly easy to deal with other than it is heavy being 110 pounds. We did need help getting it onto the wall mount. When you open the box you do it from the bottom so make sure you reach in and pull the top styrofoam out to get your paperwork, remote, and cord before you lay the box down and lay the TV on it! The back small square panel unscrews and hinges open to the right, you need to completely remove the screws to do that, That panel is where your cords hook in, power, HDMI, and optical input for the sound bar. The cords come out by removing these rubber stoppers and putting the cord in that spot so it is all nice and neat and the TV stays protected from the elements. We thought it couldn’t get much better once we powered it on, until we added the sound bar which took it to the next level. We spend a lot of time on our patio and in the pool and this TV is large enough, loud enough, and bright enough to accomplish movies from the pool, along with not having to worry about leaving it outside in the heat, or if it happens to rain. Thus far we are super impressed with how lovely it is, and also the smart TV options, we stream most everything and on this TV it is right at your fingertips via remote because the Apps are already there, or via your phone which is another great option! I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest opinion. First, I was completely skeptical about a tv that’s made to handle the outdoor elements while providing a quality experience. After initial set up of a slightly heavier tv than an indoor tv, which is expected due to the build requirement to handle outdoor weather, it was quickly apparent that Samsung developed a quality product and removed any skepticism I had. After trying various tv feeds, the tv looked GREAT. I don’t have mine set up in direct sunlight but it’s not in complete shade either. The bright background was barely noticeable due to the brightness and clarity of the QLED and when I turned on a 4K feed, it wasn’t noticed at all. This tv will be the family favorite since it allows us to enjoy the outdoors while watching our favorite shows. Since the elements in Colorado can sometimes be more than average due to elevation, we do intend to purchase a tv cover to use while it’s not in use.

I searched for days until I became exhausted to purchase my first projector because I have no personal experience in determining which one would be best for my price point. I stumbled onto this model and boy am I glad I did. The picture quality is outstanding and all of the added inputs and LGs WebOS interface was the icing on the cake. The LG HU70LAB CineBeam Projector offers amazing picture quality, features and brightness at a low cost, for a 4K projector.

It is packed with features including auto-focus (so you never have to worry about getting the picture perfectly crisp), smart apps (including TV Tuner, Netflix, YouTube, etc. which is great since you don't have to hook anything up to it), zoom feature if you need to make it fit a wall, Google Assistant / alexa (no typing to search for shows!) , and HDR10 with Dynamic Tone Mapping (better, brighter colors that are truer to the original).

I was so surprised how vibrant and bright the colors were, even when I was using it in the day light!

One of my favorite features is the remote it comes with. It is so intuitive, and the fact that it works like a mouse makes it easy to navigate the various menus and smart TV options.

The only downside to the projector is the speakers. While they work if you are sitting by the projector, or if you want to watch a movie somewhere other than your home setup, you won't be happy with them long term. I would definitely recommend having a soundbar or surround sound setup to complement the projector.

First and foremost this is an amazing home theater projector. Perfect size as it is not too bulky or too small. With 15000 Lumins this projector gives off an amazing 4K picture. The blacks are true blacks and the colors are very vibrant. This projector is feature packed with LG Contents store that allows you to install various apps. 2x HDMI and 1 USB-C allows for external connects to devices such as gaming consoles and media streaming devices. This CineBeam projector has Google Assistant and Alexa Capabilities which worked wonderfully. The sound quality from the internal speakers are average. I strongly suggest using an external speaker system for larger spaces as the sound could get lost. LG's Content store for the projector is ok. The Magic remote is east to use and very responsive. The remote has dedicated Netflix and Amazon Video buttons which worked well. Built into this system is the ability to recognize external devices such as my Nintendo Switch which is really cool. A litany of mobile apps allow you to use a tablet or mobile device as a remote as well. From 9' away you get an 84" screen and can max out at around 120". The setup for this projector was super easy. My only wish for this device is to have more video streaming apps available or the ability to cast apps from an external device to the projector. The response rate of video and sound is amazing. I give the LG CineBeam HU70LAB projector a 5/5 stars . I only wish for the price that there are more apps available .

Before 2020, our largest TV was a 43” 3D set - nothing special.

About 10 months ago, we got an LG nano series, and it blew us away. Movie night was no longer a plea to the kids to get off devices, but a group activity. I posted many online reviews about how this was just what we needed.

Cue 2020: the lockdown, social distancing, and isolation from others preventing get-togethers. Since our LG nano series TV was such a hit, we started looking for a projector, and LG was our first stop. We'd never really needed a projector before, and in my occasional research, never found a good one that fit our needs anyway. This became a means to gather again though - distanced, but all able to enjoy the movie du joir.

In the last 2 weeks since buying it, we’ve had friends over to experience this beast. The image is so large that people can stretch out: in the pool (our kids), and across the back deck (week 1 – projected against the house), or across the driveway and front lawn while (week 2 – projected on the garage door), and all have a movie-quality experience, bringing us closer to the days before the negativity of coronavirus.

All were blown away by the image quality, motion quality, and brightness – even in moderate light near dusk, where most units struggle. As a former optical engineer that worked on displays, the color representations are AMAZING… minor calibration was done initially (just because I’m a stickler), but even out-of-the-box, I was wowed by the color gamut. We eventually plan to remove the entertainment center & make this our primary family room unit, but for now, are having too much fun with the portability!

While I love the addition, I’d like to offer a few suggestions.

First/foremost, the remote needs to be UHF, not infrared. For the first 20 mins, I thought I had a defective remote, dead batteries, or defective projector sensor. Not fun, when everyone wants to start and the tech whiz is looking for batteries. Thankfully, I saw the guide while getting new AA’s & noticed a rear *IR* receiver in the diagram. For people who ceiling mount & have a lip between rooms (as we do), this could be problematic if not mounted just right.

Second, internal sound is low… I had to disconnect a soundbar & attach to the projector outside as no one outside could hear beyond a foot or two away, even at max volume.

Finally, YouTube TV needs to be an internal app! It is for LG TV's, please add it here - I don't want another unnecessary HDMI stick please!

After spending 2 weeks with the LG HU70LAB 4k HDR CineBeam projector, I am very impressed. I have owned a few projectors over the years for the occasional outdoor movie night, but this is the first projector I have owned that feels like a true smart tv replacement from a feature standpoint. It runs the same WebOS interface LG uses on the high-end TV’s with voice control, streaming apps built in, and the magic remote for easy navigation and text input. I’ve mostly been using it outside- and set up is a breeze thanks to the flexible 1.25x zoom and automated focus controlled by the remote. I was initially a little concerned about the peak brightness only being 1500 lumens, but the LED light source performs surprisingly well even an hour before sunset and is incredibly bright once the sun goes down on my 100” 1.1 gain screen. It can definitely handle the 140” as advertised, and now I regret not getting one. It even performed well indoors mid-day with lights on, as seen in my photos. I just watched my first 4k HDR movie last night, and everyone was absolutely blown away by the picture quality and contrast. Even the 1080p content upscaled looked amazing while watching the NHL playoffs in the backyard. I’m normally not a fan of any of the framerate smoothing technologies, but the TruMotion worked really well for the quick action and I ended up leaving it on. For audio you can run it to your speakers over HDMI ARC, optical, aux, or bluetooth. It comes with 3W built in speakers, but you want to use proper speakers for the best experience. I would without hesitation recommend this projector to anyone interested in buying one due to the incredible picture and LG WebOS integration. Let me begin by saying this projector is the best projector I have ever owned. When I first recieved this unit I tried it on the bare wall and it looked pretty good. Then I purchased a 120" 4k screen and big difference. I was blown away by the picture quality. The smart features worked flawlessly. The apps load right away. There is quite a few apps to choose from. Movies load with not too much buffer time. The remote is one of my favorite features. Love the way I can just point the remote to the screen and the cursor moves around screen like a computer mouse. With the built in Alexa I was able to just talk to the remote and it responded right away. I was really impressed with the built in speakers but when watching a movie I paired my bluetooth soundbar and it was way better. The 4k video is awesome. I hooked up my video game console to the projector and it handled it very well. Even with a couple of wrinkles on my screen the picture quality of the projector was great. I had movie night with my kids and they loved it. I cant wait to host fight night with this projector. Having a Home theater system has always been my idea of enjoying a good movie with a family, however splurging over $5000 on a 77" OLED TV is a bit too much and having an 85" LED TV would overtake our living room space, so LG HU70LAB 4K UHD LED Smart Home Theater CineBeam Projector came to our rescue! It is compact, has smart Web OS and produces a beautiful 4K picture! And what is more this LG CineBeam projector can produce up 140" display! Yes, 4K quality , with up to 1500 ANSI Lumens Brightness and HDR10 & TruMotion technology . There is so much more in this small projector, however I wanted to share my experience with it as well. The set up was very easy and straight forward. If you ever owned an LG TV or any similar smart TV, it is pretty much the same set up process. LG Web OS is built in in this projector and it is very intuitive and fluid, and it walked me up through the initial set up. This projector comes with a nice white Magic Remote control I am very familiar with because I already own an LG TV. As I mentioned the Web OS on this projector is extremely fast and intuitive and offers a slew of apps from YouTube, Prime TV to Netflix, and other entertainment content. Here is one amazing feature this projector has that differentiates it from other projectors - TV tuner! Yes, you can connect your antenna and scan for available local HD channels and you got yourself free TV content like ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox and lots of other channels you may never heard of. I think this is so smart of LG to offer TV Tuner! Now to the viewing experience, my family was simply floored when I projected almost 140" movie on the wall. The 4K picture quality is crisp and vivid! You can see lots of detail, and the darker the room the better the results. I also tried using this projector in the daylight and it worked good, however you may want to have it installed in a room with some curtains. One thing I have to mention that needs to be addressed is the sound. I would highly recommend connecting a soundbar for best results. There is an HDMI input that supports Audio Return Channel and it will be a huge upgrade to your sound stage. The projector itself has a built-in speaker, however it is not very loud. We are very pleased with this home theater projector, it will be definitely used a lot for movies, video games and other entertainment. I would highly recommend anyone who wants to save some money and space to get this LG miracle.

Setup was quick enough. At first glance, with some ambient light, I was extremely impressed. I have been using it mainly for movies, and the color is truly excellent. The color is what makes this LED projector shine. This LG projector delivers both 4K and HDR. There is a built-in speaker that is decent. Bluetooth is available to connect external speaker or wireless headset LG's WebOS is integrated just like their TV's. The magic remote is just that. Magic. I really like the motion control cursor and the smart features of the projector providing you with built-in apps such as Netflix and Amazon Prime. Another great feature here is how QUIET it is! A noisy projector can be annoying and distracting while watching movies, this is a definite plus that it is quiet. The connectivity options available in the projector are great and include HDMI, USB, USB C (you can connect your smartphone), LAN, and optical audio.

Huge upgrade from the last model. Our old remote shattered on the tile in the kitchen and this one was cheaper so we went with that. Works wonderfully.

This is what the remote should have been from the start. I HATED the remote that came with our Apple TV immediately! We got the remote from Function 101 which was an improvement but was missing a button which made it difficult for quickly connecting headphones. It also didn't have voice control but I don't care about that. This new remote is awesome! Thicker and easier to handle. You can turn off the touch which was horrible on the old Apple remote.

Love the updated Siri remote over the standard AppleTV remote! Having a dedicated power button, mute button, and updated track pad.

This remote is a huge improvement. It was so easy to use it connected to my Apple 4k TV box right out of it's package.

I really didn't like the previous generation of this remote. It was a lot harder to do basic stuff with my Apple TV. This updated remote fixes many of the problems, and I love how the top button can be used both to scroll with your finger and to have physical presses. I would definitely recommend whether you have the previous Apple TV 4k or the latest one.

Already have the newest Apple TV with the new remote and love it so much that I bought a remote to go with the last generation Apple TV. The original remote is hard to hold and use but the new design is larger, easier to hold and works perfectly. I would recommend that everyone replace the older and thin remote with this remote that is what it should have been in the first place.

Purchased as a replacement of the overly-touchy Siri remote that came with my Apple TV 4K. The new remote is a happy mix of the feel of the old style remotes and the best parts of the touch-friendly features of the more recent ones. Makes nice difference in the living room

This seemed like an unnecessary purchase since I already had a remote that came with the Apple TV. However the original one was difficult for me to work——not user friendly for me. I had read some reviews that sounded good, praising this new remote. I decided to go for it and am glad that I did. Now I can easily access everything that used to be troublesome. I an happy with my purchase, a bit pricey but what Apple product is not.

Coming from using the Shield TV Remote from 2015, I was getting a little tired of having to constantly find it after the wife looses it in the couch every other day. That and the fact that it does not have an IR blaster to power on/off/control the sound system made it time to upgrade just for my family's own sanity.

In comes the new Shield TV Remote from 2019. This one has a few super nice benefits even though I liked the old ones small sleek design and function.

Firstly, this one lights up which is helpful when using it or looking for it at night.

Second, this thing uses 2 AAA batteries so no longer are you needing to charge it every week or so.

Thirdly, the shape and size of the device is very nice to hold and use, and keeps itself from falling into the abyss of the couch because it is wide enough to sort of wedge and stay on top. And if it does happen to get lost, you can locate it from the Shield TV itself (Though since mine is a older 2015 Pro, I need to use another remote to get to that option, which I have plenty of others via gamepads and such so this is not a con in any way).

Lastly, the device has an IR Blaster so it only takes one remote to power up the Shield, TV, and Logitech surround sound and get to viewing.

Overall it's a fantastic little upgrade to an already fantastic Android TV device.

Don't over-research questionable alternatives. This updated Nvidia Shield remote is OEM and works with the 2017 Pro Model.

It also is able to control the volume of your TV and or soundbar in addition to the power through CEC.

In other words, one remote is all you need now to control everything.

Got this for my 2015 Shield. I also have 2019 Shield & 2019 Pro Shield so I already knew what I was getting. Definitely worth the $30 if you are still using the old rechargeable style. Everything about this new remote is better. This is the remote that should've been standard from the beginning.

This tv was a surprise gift for my husband for Christmas. He was very surprised and overjoyed because he was watching the games in another room on a little monitor, if you can believe it. He was complaining about his eyes burning. So I decided to buy this for him, he has been enjoying this tv every since. Looks like it was a good and bad deal. Good because he loves it and bad because now I never see him. Lol it’s all good.

Got this tv at the great price of $150 right before Christmas. I really like the crispness of the picture as well as how clear the sound is. Perfect size for my bedroom. Has free tvplus and constant vevo videos!!

The fact that I don't need to use the hdmi port is a plus. I also like how I can control it from my phone. My only complaint is the lag between the remote and the tv as well as the remote having to be pointed directly at the tv to register. Other than that, I love my new tv!!

This smart TV is awesome! It comes with several streaming apps I use and the built in browser was a nice surprise. I set it up in my garage and it looks and sounds great.

PROS: Great Cyber Monday price. Connecting to wifi was easy. As expected it delivers a great Samsung quality Full HD picture. Color is good right out of the box but using the Natural color setting is perfect for our particular viewing set up.

The 20W speaker output is more than adequate for a small room but we also bought a Samsung All-in-One sound bar with bluetooth music mode. We use the included optical out cable for the tv sound and that allows us to also pair the speaker with two different iPhones for streaming audio.

CONS: The Smart Hub is pretty clunky. Also this model (at least from the Best Buy inventory that ours came from) does not have the Hulu app built-in nor can it be downloaded within the hub. We spent time on the phone with Samsung who sent us to Best Buy and Hulu tech support. All reps were great, but baffled by the issue and couldn't find or force the app to download remotely.

We are a high speed Xfinity internet only home. No TV service. So our work around is simple and perfect for us. We only use the hub via Samsung remote for switching between inputs sources (a Chromecast and a Leaf antenna). We use the Leaf and Samsung remote to watch local broadcast tv. For all of our streaming subscriptions we cast from an old unused iPhone 7 Plus like a dedicated casting remote. Switching between apps as well as app navigation and interaction (volume, pausing, rewinding, fast forward, etc) is superior and we use mobile app data saver options to boot!

It a great TV and it was a good deal on it . We have a 32 inch Samsung so we know the company.

This TV is the perfect size for my kitchen area, and the picture quality is excellent. It was also very easy to set up with my rooftop antenna, wifi and fire box. So happy with this purchase!

Very good little inexpensive Bluetooth receiver, sounds great, it does have some limited distance but overall a very good little Bluetooth unit and I've tried many others. As you can see I use it with all vintage audio gear.

I got to this for my TV so i could use my headset I already had. When i connected it to my TV which was easy by the way it worked the way i wanted it instantly. I couldn't imagine it working better. Its like a wireless headphone jack for my TV.

Do you want to listen to music on your phone through your home amp? If so, look no further. This is incredible and easy to hook up. Connects easily and maintains clear audio. I listen to music and pod casts in my office through a Reciever that is relatively new but didn’t have the Bluetooth option. Absolutely one of the best things to let the tunes and podcast steam through your home.

Sounds great. Limited range but for a small space this is a great solution. Use it with my old school stereo. Fisher amp and Technics K9 speakers. APTX-HD is worth it!

Successfully converted my 35-year old receiver into a bluetooth receiver. Love it. Got rid of my Sirius XM receiver - I just stream through my phone. Sound quality is slightly muted, but adjusted manually with tuner controls. Range not as advertised - about 30 feet but extendable. Easy set-up.

Works as advertised. The unit is small, unobtrusive, and easy to set up allowing me to enjoy music streaming on my older stereo system.

So this has limited volume but not as bad as the no name stuff. So their is a noticeable drop in volume compared to if you play the cd or radio. But I've had worse adaptors for bluetooth off ebay for a bit less that i regretted buying. This i didn't regret buying.

We can finally keep our old receiver for our in-house speaker system. Modernized the equipment we have had for years. Super simple to use!

Wireless speakers are amazing definitely add if you have a Roku tv.

These sound very good for wireless speakers. The dialogue audio is not as good as a center channel speaker but the quality is impressive.

Be aware that the cable ends that connect to the speakers Is a large 90 deg angle shaped connector that will not fit inside most speaker stand tubes so you can’t hide the cables very well.

Lastly, if you order directly from Roku, you get a separate table top volume controller that is not included if purchased from BB. I didn’t pay attention and found out the hard way. Still love these though and don’t think that item is all that useful for me anyway.

Got these a lil over a week ago. Purchased specifically for my husband who has tinnitus & it makes it hard to hear conversations on the TV. These have helped tremendously! These are a great wireless way to put speakers near where you sit. I like them because my tv is situated near the stairs and I don't want to turn the volume up loud enough that my toddler upstairs can hear. Having these right next to the couch allows me to leave the volume low but still have great sound quality.

Easy to hook up and really sound great. Parents are older and needed more sound. Have these next to there bed. They love them and I do as well. I am a picky audio person and I love em.

These roku rear speakers add a lot to the roku sound bar. I recommend you get the woofer if you want these speakers to really show off and hear the voices as well. They are weak sounding without it. Can hardly tell the difference unless right beside you within a couple of feet. Would recommend to others. Good value.

I love this little keyboard. It's functional and aesthetically pleasing. I included the picture for scale purposes it is not as long as my laptop. It can connect to three different devices without disconnecting from the first two, so I switch between using it for my laptop and for my iPad seamlessly. The on\off switch is convenient and it's colored so you specifically know when it's off so that you arent wasting battery power. My favorite thing is the color. It is not too pink that it's offputting. Subtle and cute.

I'm in love with this keyboard! Setup was quick and simple. The keys are large enough that my hands fit comfortably when I'm typing (no fat-fingering) yet the keyboard is small enough I can easily carry it in my backpack. It's decently heavy and the quality is incredible for the price. The only thing I was disappointed about was the color, which isn't quite as pink as the box shows (as seen in the picture I attached). Other than that I am more than pleased with this keyboard!

Obsessed with this little keyboard. Love the color (definitely more of a light dusty pink vs. the bright pink in the picture). I find the circular keys are much easier to type on (and I'm less likely to make typing errors) vs. the standard square keys on an Apple Magic Keyboard. By biggest complaint is after 4 weeks of consistent use, the spacebar is sqeaking. Grrrr

I love my keyboard. It is small and does not take up much space in my computer desk now. The clicking sound is less noisy compared to my previous Logitech keyboard. I have connected the keyboard to 3 devices and works great. It is lightweight. Love my Rose color keyboard and hope Logitech continues to provide feminine colors.

We bought our 65 inch OLED LG TV and along with it a new Sound Bar and Surround blue tooth speakers. We have watched a lot of 4K videos and Youtube. The definition is truly realistic. The infinite flexibility of the settings in the TV has been a bit much. I have set up a lot of TVs in the past and had little trouble after the initial setup using any of the HDMI input signals for video source data. This seems to forget what it knows when things are changed. Changing hdmi inputs is awkward and finding anything in the the settings windows is the opposite of intuitive.

Totally hate the rolling scroll wheel in place of the OK BUTTON on the remote control.

There is a very annoying feature programmed into the pause mode of the TV. Instead of pausing with a nice full screen image of say, a football fumble, the screen goes half dark with writing on the screen. I finally found pressing yet another button on the remote will restore the frozen image to full brightness with text gone. Very awkward. The darkening, text overwritten, image should wait at least three minutes to happen. 'They' say its to preserve the OLEDs but so why is that function available in an alternate button if its destructive.? I'm happy I found the button but the logic of it is illusive.

The auto reconnect to the WIFI does not always happen and the TV offers the fact that it did not reconnect instead of just trying until it does. Usually turning it off and back on eliminates the message like most of Bill Gates stuff.

I'm getting surround sound from my new sound LG sound bar. The most dismaying problem comes from having to go through setup after what seem like the simplest operational settings and the sound bar somehow just changes, goes to an unusable mode or turns completely off.

We use our new TV everyday and love the imagery.. I've explained why it might be bittersweet.

Great little keyboard! I was not thrilled about having to use AAA batteries, but this keyboard turns out to be very energy efficient. I use it with my iPad since I don't like changing cases and I use it both for drawing and sometimes for writing.

I bought these for my 2 and a half year old granddaughter, who has a new baby brother on the way, to wear when she uses her kindle. Honestly she loves them and wears them even if she isn’t using it, they make her so happy every time she sees them. The volume seems to be appropriate for her little ears, and they seem to hold a decent charge. We haven’t tried them in other devices yet, but I would actually buy them again, and keep an extra pair on hand because the price is great, they work for what I need them for, and they make her happy.

I purchased these Minnie Mouse headphones for my daughter's birthday! She is a huge fan of Minnie Mouse and she absolutely loves them. I found it to be pretty simple to sync them with her tablet and they work wonderfully. I would definitely recommend them to other parents. Great choice!

The Bose TV Speaker soundbar is the newest evolution of the entry level Bose Solo 5 TV sound system. This new TV Speaker model has some significant improvements as compared to the Solo 5. The Solo 5 had only two (2) front facing speakers, mounted at obtuse angles. The new Bose TV Speaker adds a third transducer (speaker) comprised of a front facing tweeter in between the two full-range drivers which remain oriented at obtuse angles. This new model also adds HDMI connectivity, in addition to the optical audio cable option (optical cable included; HDMI cable not included). The HDMI connection supports HDMI CEC (Consumer Electronics Control), which facilitates the use of a single remote control to operate multiple devices, as well as the basic bidirectional communication which allows one device to control another. Thus, powering on the television will also turn on the soundbar. However, the new Bose TV Speaker requires that it be connected to the television’s HDMI ARC / eARC (Audio Return Channel) port. All of the televisions that I am familiar with have only one HDMI-ARC port. Therefore, if there is another connected device which requires ARC (such as a Home Theater system), those devices will be competing for the single HDMI ARC port, unless an HDMI switch is employed to allow multiple HDMI devices to connect to the single HDMI ARC port. HDMI has several advantages over an optical audio connection including the capability to pass higher resolution audio as well as automatically power switching the Bose TV Speaker on and off whenever the television is powered on and off. Although optical audio is good, HDMI is superior in several respects, thus it would have been nice if Bose also included an HDMI cable in addition to the optical cable furnished. The Bose TV Speaker soundbar does not support any high resolution, surround or cinematic sound formats (i.e. DTS, etc.). This is simply a 2.0 channel system. The “surround sound” effect of the Bose TV Speaker soundbar is apparently synthetic; a product of Bose engineering brilliance and capitalizing on reflected sound. The Bose TV Speaker soundbar includes Bluetooth Version 4.2 connectivity, which enables the soundbar to be utilized as a speaker for streaming music from a smartphone or other Bluetooth audio source device. The rear panel of the Bose TV Speaker has the A/C power cable jack, HDMI (ARC) jack, optical cable input jack, a 3.5mm analog stereo input jack (for connecting televisions which lack both HDMI and optical outputs), a 3.5mm output jack for connecting an optional Bose Bass Module accessory and a USB-A jack for sideloading firmware updates.

The Bose TV Speaker soundbar is equipped with its own compact, dedicated remote control in which the required CR2032, 3 volt lithium button battery is preinstalled. The Bose remote measures only 1-9/16” x 4-1/8”. The remote includes a Power Button, which has the dual purpose of switching the Auto-wake mode to turn on the Bose TV Speaker when audio is detected on the optical or analog connections; a TV source selection button; Volume control; a Bluetooth source selection button; a +/- 2 increment Bass adjustment button, a Mute/Unmute button and a Dialog mode button which ostensibly enhances the audibility of speech. The Bose remote is necessary for adjusting program volume if the optical connection is employed, however if connected via HDMI-ARC the television remote will control the audio output of the television set and thus will also control the volume of the Bose TV Speaker, and the Bose remote may be reserved for Bass adjustment and Source selection.

I have held a very favorable opinion of Bose equipment for over 45 years. Bose has a remarkable reputation for brilliantly engineered systems which produce incredible spatial sound with extremely small components including extremely small speaker drivers. I was amazed in the 1970s when I first heard a small pair of Bose bookshelf speakers fill a room with a spatial presence that was incomparable to any conventional, directional speakers. When Best Buy stores equipped their large, extensive CD sales areas (with their soaring, warehouse type ceilings) with Bose sound systems, it was amazing that the cavernous and noisy space was enveloped in music with incredible fidelity. My last car was factory equipped with an extraordinary Bose audio system, which I still miss a great deal (along with the outstanding car in which it was mounted).

Bose speakers capitalize on reflected sound, rather than only direct projection like most speakers. The spatial characteristics are therefore outstanding. Tiny speakers producing large, space filling audio is the Bose claim to fame.

Thus, when selecting a television soundbar, particularly with the hope of enhancing the clarity of dialog, Bose was the primary choice.

It would be nice (and appreciated) if Bose listed more specifications for any of their soundbars. Even the basic amplifier power specifications (watts/channel) are absent from the product documentation and website. The Bose TV Speaker is accompanied by a printed quick-start guide, but the full product manual must be accessed and downloaded from the Bose website.

Setting up the Bose TV Speaker was simple and effortless. I experimented with the optical cable connection, which would require use of the Bose remote to adjust volume, but opted to capitalize on the benefits of using the HDMI port. This requires a user supplied (not included) HDMI cable connecting the HDMI port on the rear panel of the Bose TV Speaker with the HDMI ARC port on the television (temporarily replacing the existing home theater system’s utilization of that ARC port). A standard HDMI port cannot be used, as the Bose TV Speaker will not receive audio signal from it. The Bose TV Speaker has the power supply internal to the housing, thus avoiding another space consuming wall transformer for the power mains.

The physical dimensions of the Bose TV Speaker are a very compact 23-1/2” wide x 4” deep x 2-1/4” tall. The black housing is sleek, visually attractive and modern with a perforated metal front grille. The unit is not heavy, but has a solid and substantial feel to it. LED status lamps are present on the upper left of the front housing.

Once the Bose TV Speaker was connected to the television via the HDMI ARC connection, turning on the television also powered on the Bose unit, and switched the audio output from the television’s internal speakers to the Bose TV Speaker. The immediate improvement in audio quality is remarkable. The internal speakers suddenly sound anemic once the Bose TV Speaker replaces them for audio production. At the default bass setting level, the Bose TV Speaker demonstrated excellent bass response that produces the illusion that a sub-woofer is present. Across the audible range, the audio sounds clear and undistorted, even at very low and very high volume levels. The sound reproduction is genuinely excellent, and although perhaps not of the level of a 7.1 channel home theater system, it sounds absolutely great and capably fills the room with high-fidelity audio.

Audio fidelity and the synthesized spatial characteristics of the Bose TV Speaker were equally impressive throughout the room, even when well off-axis from the television. The entire room was enveloped in the same richness, clarity and fullness of sound.

The performance of the Bose TV Speaker was immediately impressive. All types of programming from dialog heavy news programs to movies with significant music accompanying the dialog all sounded remarkably good and were greatly enhanced. The excellent audio produced by the modestly sized Bose TV Speaker was genuinely pleasing and quite impressive. The Bose TV Speaker also received a very favorable evaluation from my wife who often finds dialog from the television’s internal speakers difficult to understand clearly. My wife was amazed at how clear dialog became with the Bose TV Speaker, which quite dramatically enhances and clarifies dialog while rendering pleasant and balanced program audio.

We think that the Bose TV Speaker is truly excellent and we are genuinely enjoying the enhanced audio that it delivers. I can certainly recommend the Bose TV Speaker to anyone who would enjoy watching television with excellent audio reproduction from a compact, unobtrusive and quite remarkable soundbar system.

I really love Bose speakers and have been buying them for over 25 years, so when I saw this TV Speaker, I was excited to get it. I had an LG soundbar that worked well, but didn't have the sound quality that I have seen with Bose speakers.

Basic setup was very easy...connect the included optical cable to the TV and soundbar and plug it in. That is pretty much it since I already had a soundbar that was being replaced. If you aren't replacing a soundbar, you just need to go into the TV settings and turn off the internal TV speakers.

The Bose speakers provide great sound and you can configure it to your liking. It's easy to control the bass and dialogue mode with the simple remote provided. There is also an option to connect to the speaker with a bluetooth device.

The one drawback I found was getting the TV/Roku remote to control the volume directly. The instructions included with the device doesn't show how to setup the volume control with another remote. There is a TV button on the remote, but I haven't been able to figure out how to use it and if that can be configured to have the TV remote control the sound. They do point to their website for more info, but I was not able to find any instructions for getting that setup, so for the time being, I have a remote to control the TV and a second for the volume, which isn't ideal.

Also, there is no 'screen' on the speaker or remote, so you can't tell which mode you are in (volume, dialogue or bass) when using the common up and down to control the settings. That would have helped with giving instructions on how to setup the TV or Bluetooth devices.

Overall, I love the sound coming from these speakers. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars for me is figuring out how to setup my TV remote to control the volume on the Bose soundbar. I'm hoping that info will be published soon.

BUILD QUALITY/AESTHETICS:

It is solid. There is no creaking anywhere on the device. It has a good weight to it. The shell is mostly plastic with the grill being metal. It has minimal branding with a small writing of “Bose” in the middle of the device. Overall, it looks very sleek. The inputs are on the back right of the device. Which include HDMI (ARC) x1, Optical In x1, Aux In x1, Service x1, Bass (for external bass device) x1, and power x1. There are two LED areas to notify you if you are on TV or Bluetooth. There are NO BUTTONS on the device itself. Which means if you lose the remote you are out of luck and have a large expensive paper weight. The battery for the remote is also a watch battery.

BLUETOOTH:

The setup process is easy. Simply press the Bluetooth button on the remote, it will change the LED to a pulsating blue light with a jingle. Then go to your Bluetooth settings on your phone and select “Bose TV Speaker” and it will make a little chime and the LED will go to white. Do keep in mind to go back to normal sound you have to press the TV button on your remote. How do you know which one you are on? You can check which LED is on. If the white LED is on the left, then it is TV. If on the right, Bluetooth. They really should have color coated these. As I think going to white after connecting for the Bluetooth is silly since the LED for TV is also white. If you get up close to the soundbar you can also see if it is on TV or Bluetooth as well (see picture).

SOUND QUALITY:

The most important part of a sound bar is the sound. I made sure to leave this stock as I am sure that is how most people will listen to it. Meaning I did not adjust the bass and I did not have voice clarity on. As if it is a good speaker you should not need that. I will note that turning on the voice clarity did help, but only mildly, and was usually still not enough for those shows that I had difficulty hearing vocals with. I would say my viewing experience was 50/50. So, 50% of the time I had no problems hearing people and the other 50% I had great difficulty with or without the voice clarity setting on. To the point I had to turn on subtitles to prevent my speaker from blasting. As in those times if I had the volume loud enough to hear the vocals the background music would be so loud it would hurt my ears.

I run all my speakers through 14 different songs that test a bunch of things to identify the sound profile for that product. Which I then use to try to objectively compare to other products. It also, gives me an idea how it will perform in multiple scenarios. I will start with audiophile terms and then go to laymen terms.

The overall balance of the soundbar is poor. Background sound, usually highs and/or music, often overpower vocals. Especially those in the mid or bass range. It does much better with highs (female voices). However, all vocals sound veiled and congested, and you must focus to understand what they are saying and even then, details are often lost. Bass is anemic in most things. However, if you do adjust the base (which I recommend) it can become boomy and solid without ruining the sound further. It actually improves the overall sound. Mids show a lot of bloat. Highs are solid and I have no problems with them. All sounds lack full texture, punch, and dynamic range. It has great separation. Overall sound is not as natural as I want, and timbre is slightly off making things sound more processed than I would like. Soundstage is small and forward. It does not have any brightness, crispness, depth, detail, harshness, lushness, or sibilance.

Moving onto simpler terms. The soundbar does not fill the room as much as it just shoots sound directly at you. For example, there are some speakers when you play something the sound surrounds you and sounds very realistic as if they are in the room with you. Other times it sounds like it is coming from a specific device from a specific and limited location and you have to be facing it to get the best sound. That is what these sound like. This speaker also focuses too much on the background noise for shows/movies. To the point I can hear birds chirping, a busy restaurant, traffic, and the ambiance fine. However, when someone goes to speak, I cannot understand what they are saying because the volume is too low for their voice and it just is not clear. Almost like someone is speaking through a mask. To the point where I have to turn up the volume and it makes it sound like I’m 80 years old when really I’m in my 20’s. I like low volume and not blasting it so my neighbors can hear what I’m watching. Bass also does not hit hard unless adjusted in which case it does. Mids are terrible all around. Highs are great. However, all sound is surface level. It lacks realistic tone, character, and depth. Overall, I do not like the sound. As I have an easier time hearing people talk with my normal TV speakers over this soundbar. Which defeats the entire purpose.

CONCLUSION:

I will keep this brief. The whole point of a soundbar is to be able to hear things better. I can hear nuances in shows that I normally cannot. However, I trade being able to hear those nuances instead of voices. Which is the main reason why we watch TV is to hear other people talk to drive a plot forward. Since it does this poorly, I simply cannot recommend this product. As much as I do not want it to be, it is a pass for me.

The speaker is compact with full spectrum of sound that prioritize on voice from center of TV without expectation of complex surround sound system.

1. Its hardware size and weight is light for who would have space limitation next to tv and light to carry.

2. Installation is simple via Optical or HDMI ARC depending on available TV input/output. Once plugged in, works straight forward.

3. The sound in overall is excellent for the purpose and size of the speaker. Big differentiator is the crispy voice from streaming programs. Tested fully watching shows and programs from YoutTube and Netflix movies and the clarity of dialog is center of positive side of the speaker. Then sound effect is not exactly surround experience, but some what spatial I would say as can feel the effect from different directions creating immersive like experience. From Netflix watching 2012 can feel effects for wave, chopper approaching to characters from different directions. Watching 6 Underground, can feel cars crushing and explosions impact. In both movies as characters start talking can perceive from center of speaker while all the effects occurs across.

4. Remote control is simple and compact without much of functionality, It consist of volume, tv, power on/off, bass, and sound mode I believe.

What come short: it is combination between remote control and sound. While experiencing movie or program, and changing Bass or Sound Mode, can’t tell when and what being changed. Using Bass button, there is light that blink, but not exactly if it is decreasing or increasing for instance. Using Sound mode similarly can’t tell if it is voice centered or effect prioritization with exception of cases that can tell it via actual effect, but most of cases couldn’t.

Secondly, using with Apple TV, it can’t learn the remote control of Bose TV. Seems there isn’t compatibility or need further troubleshooting to make it work after out of box.

In bottom line: it is perfect for who want simple and compact speaker to replace the TV’s own speaker and still have bit more of sound effect, and can close to optimize for streaming experience.

This Bose TV Speaker delivers clear dialogue and adds just enough bass to make most content much more enjoyable compared to using only the native TV speakers. In the package are a remote, the speaker, an optical cable and a power cord.

Setup is very simple. There are two LED indicators in the front for the TV and Bluetooth modes. Accepted connections are Aux (3.5mm), Bluetooth (version 4.2), Optical and HDMI ARC (from your TV if equipped). With the recommended 3.5mm cable, Bose's series of Bass Modules can be connected for even more bass via a dedicated port. In my case, I used the optical cable for my TV connection. The HDMI ARC configuration provides the ability to control the Bose TV Speaker with your actual TV speaker. The included remote control allows you to adjust bass settings, toggle between TV/Bluetooth modes and adjust the volume of the speaker. The final port on the rear is a USB for service/software updates.

A great feature is the ability of the speaker to automatically “wake” upon turning on your TV. The bass delivered, as previously stated, is very gratifying and is just the right amount to keep the neighbors in apartment or even townhouse settings happy. A Dialogue mode isolates dialogue/vocals from TV or Bluetooth content for better perception; the appropriate LED is lit green when this feature is enabled.

The Bluetooth setup is also very easy: for the first connection, you press the Bluetooth button (the LED pulsates blue), scan with your device for Bose TV Speaker and pair. Once connected, cellphones/tablets (and other wireless devices) are able to deliver richer sound content to fill moderately sized rooms. The speaker can store up to 8 devices through subsequent pairing processes; you will need to hold the Bluetooth button down for about two seconds to enable the pairing mode/pulsating blue LED .

We have another winner from Bose. The Bose TV Speaker combines a compact formfactor (at barely 2 feet long and 2 inches tall) with the right amount of power and functionality for versatility in a myriad of applications. Saying it has exceeded my expectations sounds cliché as I have come to expect nothing less from Bose.

I’ll wrap this up for you right off the bat. You won’t regret buying this but you probably won’t love it either because there’s nothing that makes it stick out.

I already have two soundbars, so this is my third and I was interested in giving it a shot since Bose is always known for their quality. Out of the box, what I noticed is that this was a very simple setup. It comes with the power cord, soundbar, remote, S-cable to hook up to the TV, and some instructions (which aren’t great).

One of the selling points with this is the ease of setup since it can be done through S-cable or HDMI. However, to save Bose a buck, they only come with the S-Cable, so it Forces your hand to use that method or else you’ll have to pony up for a spare HDMI cable.

Setup itself was quite simple. I was able to take out my old soundbar, get this new one in, connect to my TV, pair with my Bluetooth, and check out the sound options in under 10 minutes.

The first noticeable drawback was that the remote was setup as laser/infrared focused, instead of radio/Bluetooth setup. That won’t matter to some but it always annoys me because it means you have to point at the device to use the remote. If anything obstructs it or you don’t want to take your hands out from under the blanket... sorry charlie.

It’s also a stand-alone soundbar instead of coming with a separate bass attachment, which is more common. Due to this the sound is generally coming at you instead of surrounding you. Again, it’s not good or bad, just not ideal.

You do get a full sound from what’s a relatively small bar, and it’s biggest strength in my opinion is that it has “dialogue mode” which simply just raises the tenor quality so you can better understand dialogue on what you’re watching.

Probably the most detracting part of the device is that it’s the only soundbar that I have owned where you couldn’t seem to pair it with your cable remote, which is such a key feature. It’s certainly possible that it’s an option but it isn’t discussed in their instructions or box, nor could I find any way to do it after googling online. One work around to that is that you can setup the soundbar to turn on when the tv should be playing sound, so when you turn your tv on with the tv remote, it’s up and running, but the obvious con of this is that when you turn the tv off, the soundbar doesn’t turn off too, so you’re back to using the soundbar remote. Overall, it’s not the end of the world, but just short sighted.

The actual sound quality is solid but I didn’t notice anything much better than my prior soundbar. The remote has options to turn the bass up, but since the soundbar or remote don’t have display on them, it’s hard to tell how much the bass is actually up or down until something big happens on your screen.

I wouldn’t recommend this soundbar, It’s fine but nothing special. Maybe the next time they’ll add a display to the soundbar, allow it to pair with your tv/cable remote, and improve the remote so it doesn’t have to be pointed at the TV.

The only way I can see this being a good purchase, would be for someone in a smaller space that doesn’t need all the extra bells and whistles like a college dorm or studio apartment. Someone who is wanting an improved sound but not much more than that.

This is a fantastic outdoor tv. We shopped around, compared several and finally decided in this one. Zero regrets - the picture is amazing, the entire tv is completely sealed so no water will ever seep through. The sound is a little low so we purchased a Bose sound speaker for it and now it is perfect. I highly recommend to anyone.

I bought this Insignia replacement remote for my Toshiba Fire TV, when my original remote stopped working out of warranty.

This is the same exact remote as my original one, and works exactly the same way. Everything I could do with the original remote, I can do with this one.

I hated to spend the money for it, but when you reset your TV, you can only go so far in the set up mode, before you need the remote. You can’t use your phone App to set up the TV, because it needs to be paired with your TV first. A replacement remote like this is the only way to get your TV going again. I highly recommend it!

Helpful Hint #1: Do not knock your Insignia Fire TV Edition remote into your fresh cup of hot coffee.

Helpful Hint #2: When you do, rush down to your Best Buy store and purchase a replacement. Load the batteries, point at the TV and you're back in business.

Helpful Hint #3: When your original remote dries out and miraculously starts working again, do not give it to your wife unless you enjoy clicker wars.

When my new puppy decided to gnaw on my old remote that was left on the floor by my son, I was quickly without a remote to operate my TV. I found this one on the Best Buy website and learned that Toshiba & Insignia are basically the same company. I was a bit worried that it would be difficult to sync/connect the new remote to my TV, but it was actually very easy. In fact, once the emote was powered up, everything pretty much was automatic and not hard at all. Very relieved. This one works just as well as the original, so if you need a replacement, this is the one is the one you want.

I needed to replace the remote for my TV, a Toshiba Fire TV Edition. This remote is compatible, even though it's for Insignia and has worked great. I like that the button placement is similar to my Fire TV Cube remote, compared to my old remote which had some of the buttons above the circle.

Works better than the original remote. The remote is larger so it fits in your hand better voice activation works better. I’m not much of a Amazon fire fan but this remote works great.

I researched many models, and this one was a win for me with blutooth connection, HDMI, and a remote to adjust the sound from your own speakers.

I set this projector up in my small bedroom. At about 8 feet back it makes around an 80-inch picture. (The further back you place the projector the bigger your picture will be.) No background screen needed! We just project it onto the white wall. My kids love to lay on the floor with their blankets or on the bed with me and have family movie nights.

The picture is crisp and clear at night with the lights off. At sunset the picture is just okay. Says 720p, looks 1080p. Realistic coloring.

Fan is very low, really can't hear it. Sound from speakers are lousey, but I hooked up my megaboom speaker via blutooth easily for great sound. Mouth is off sync slightly, but I've read there's an adapter cord that can plus into most blutooth speakers. It's not enough off sync to bother us though.

HDMI hookup allows me to hook up to our blu ray player or Roku box.

I've read in a review that LG batteries are not replaceable and once the battery dies you can't use this unit anymore. Battery life depends on how often you use it, but dies out at only about two years. So, I won't be using the battery for this. Best Buy warranty may be a good option for those wanting to use the battery.

The LG CineBeam is a compact, extremely versatile video projector. It is equipped with a battery, so it can used where no connection to AC power is available.The picture quality is excellent. It is also an excellent candidate for use as a home theater projector. I was even able to pair to outside speakers, which allows me to set up a surround sound effect, it sounded great. I'm projecting from about 15ft away onto a wall and the image is plenty bright, even with some ambient light in the room things are still watchable. Something really noticeable, especially how vivid everything looks. The colors are really vibrant. The throw distance i'm using is about as far away from my screen as i can while not making the image too large. One drawback is that there is no height adjustment. If the image is too low on the screen or wall or whatever you’re projecting on, you will have to find something to set it on. It’s small size and light weight make it an excellent candidate for use as a portable projector, but the lack of height adjustment would need to be kept in mind. Out of the box, the unit is easy to set up. Put the included batteries in the included remote control and then simply plug it in and turn it on. It will take you through setup menus for time, date, location, and sources of programming. I put in my fire stick and it works well and the movies look great on the screen and the sound is good enough you won't be disappointed I definitely recommend this

The LG CineBeam PH30N delivers good performance for image quality, and balance of image quality, small size, and brightness is easily good enough to serve nicely in a small conference room or for anyone who needs a bright projector they can take with them on the go. Truly surprised how good this projector works. Being able to have a truly wireless projector is amazing, even being able to pair to outside speakers, allows me to set up a surround sound effect. Add in a streaming device and you won't need anything else plugged in. First of, I want to say that this little projector blew my mind from what I was expecting. Its small an light. I was able to mount it on a camera tripod for portable use and it worked perfectly. I liked that it will automatically adjust the angle for you but you can still manually do it if necessary. The menus are easy to use and see. I was able to connect our Bluetooth portable speaker to it for the audio. The built-in audio is ok, but I really recommend you connect your own speaker to it. On battery we were able to watch a 2 an a half long video with no problems. I connected my phone and watched a musical from a streaming service. We watched it projecting on the wall and the color and quality were really good. I purchased a screen online and my kids tried it in there room where they connected their video game console and played on it. The colors looked great and it play perfectly with no lag. It was very bright for being just an LED projector. It's not bright enough to see in a brightly lit room, but in the dark, it works really well. We haven't had a chance to take it out camping yet since the weather is still to hot in the desert. We'll be projecting on the side of the trailer soon. The wife and I bought this for backyard movie nights and so far it has not disappointed. I love how small and compact this projector is and the set up was SUPER simple. There is an HDMI port to connect to Roku or any device you want. We mirrored Youtube videos from the phone and sports and movies from the PC rather than using HDMI or USB. I was impressed with the picture. The audio is not really loud but luckily you can connect it to any Bluetooth speaker which is a major plus. Since the projector is portable, you do not need the remote with it however, the remote itself is super easy to use and it is nice and slim. As with most projectors, you need a dimly lit room (or outdoors) to fully enjoy the picture. I wish the projector had a keystone adjustment left and right. This would allow us to adjust a skewed picture with the projector to the left or right of our sitting location (it does have it up and down though). That was about the only function missing that the big projectors have. In the end, its a small miss considering all the other advantages this little thing packs!

Outdoor Movie night just got better with my LG PH30N CineBeam projector. It's a great projector to stream It was really easy to set up, the projector is compact and light weight! The quality of the projection is good when the lights are off you get a beautiful clear picture, if the lights are on the picture colors would get faded out when watching a movie. The projector is really easy to use, plugs right into a HDMI or USB cable to stream to the projector. I just plugged in my USB flash drive to look at my pictures, I also used my phone or my IPad to stream and watch my movies. The projector has a 2 hour built-in battery, audio is clear and smooth, Bluetooth sound out built in speakers or you can connect speakers for a much clear surround sound. The projector has a resolution of 1280x720p high definition with up to 100" screen. Every home should have one, makes outside movie night much more enjoyable.

I was very excited to get this projector as it would be the first one I owned. I have one at my job that I had to use every day so I was slightly familiar with using a projector. So the main reason I was excited to get this LG projector was because of the small size and it being able to be easily moved around and carried and used anyplace. The size of the projector is perfect and it projects the image on any surface. I was very amazed at how clear the picture was! Not to mention the size of the image you can get with a clear picture was very impressive! Another great feature was it could be plugged in or there is a 2 hour battery life so incase you want to project where you don’t have an outlet, no problem! And 2 hours gives you enough time for a whole movie! The only negative thing about this projector which I hate to say is a big deal is the sound. You have to hook this up to another sound source so if you don’t have a speaker(s) you are out of luck. Even with the sound on full blast on the projector you can barely hear it even sitting right next to it. If LG could fix the sound quality then this projector would be perfect. So I had a speaker I hooked up to it and it worked great. It was a little inconvenience to add a speaker to it but at least the sound with the speaker worked great with the projector. So minus the sound issue this projector is amazing and I would recommend it especially for its price!

Finally, I got the LG CineBeam Projector i have been waiting for so long. I was surprised to see how small and portable the projector was. I was using an older version on the LG LED projector before which is almost double the size than this. So was a bit skeptical about how it will project. There are quite a few features it performs that the older version couldn't. The battery backup. This one by far my favorite.

So, I took everything out and started setting it up. It was evening by the time I figured out how to connect the sound to my Bluetooth speaker and how to screen share via laptop to the project.

Now time to relieve the project display. So projected it on the wall and the clarity is amazing. There is no need to darken the room. The brightness of the project is superb. It projects on a big screen like. It has an easy feature like the Battery backup for two hours, a project to focus, wireless, and Bluetooth support. the other major improvement I observed is it doesn't get heat up or make noise. Can mount it anywhere as its very light in weight.

We found the remote was really helpful to the on/off the projector. It has easy navigation to setting and volume control. New feature I found is its has front and back projection feature in it.

We projected it on a white wall and the clarity is amazing. We are able to read the CC as well so, imagine how good the clarity is. I have been watching all my shows on the projector. I won't opt for TV when I have a good projector at home. I am able to view my shows in the morning hours as well.

On the window of improvements side, I see that the audio volume on the projector is a bit low, and also USB-C support would be a game-changer.

I sure hope that Android tvs become as popular as Roku TVs. They are much more useful and I prefer the interface which is nearly identical to my shield.

You can put large MKV video files on a thumb drive and this TV will play it. The similar Roku TV will make me re-encode them.

The wifi is excellent and reaches further than my phone.

We mounted this in our trailer with a $9 fixed mount. Will buy another for the other part of the trailer.

The remote could use some work. It's not as nice as the roku or the shield remote, but it is certainly better than most 'cheap' tvs.

This TV was a great deal at $110 for open box. Sound is better than my last TCL Roku TV. You have to dig down into settings to protect your privacy and the amount of information collected about you. It's like using your phone. If your Google account is used it will recommend shows etc based on any Google device. Feels invasive.

Loses one star for the worst, cramped remote ever. Remote won't work for anyone with human size fingers-very small buttons, bad set up and if hit wrong thing you have to start over. Not useable in the dark.-no backlighting. The Roku TV remote and platform / menus rocks compared to this one. Roku much easier to use. Not sure why speakers/sound so much better on this one when made by same company. Remote so bad I'm not sure it's worth the hassle.

From ordering online and picking up at curbside at store to customer service, five star all the way!! Even set up was easy. I'm not very good at tv settings but this one was easy. I even got it set up to connect to my Bluetooth speakers and my headset for when I want to use those. So great!! I read a review on another site that some were upset that they had to keep relogging back in when they turned TV on and off. I've not had that problem. Over all, it's a great TV!!

I chose this 40" TCL over my normal purchase of Samsung, only because it was about 100 bucks cheaper. I had a really bad experience with an Element TV a few years back and was scared to venture away from Samsung again. I'm delighted to say that I love this TCL. It's crazy easy set up and use. It works great with my Android Phone and it fits my needs perfectly. I would definitely purchase again, granted the tv lasts.

Bought for my outside patio to watch sports, get Over the Air Channels and for the Android TV feature. Works great. I use the bluetooth feature to run my small sound bar. Can turn off screen when listening to music. The Android TV gets almost all my streaming services. Controller takes getting use to.

Overall a great TV, especially when considering the price from BB.

Decided to try the Android version rather than the Roku version that I have owned in the past. I really hope to see more android TVs; because they are much more useful than the Roku counterparts. For instance, I can toss large MKV movie files on a thumb drive and this TV will play it no questions asked. The Roku model I am always needing to re-encode them to work.

The interface is certainly not as smooth as my Nvidia Shield, but it's workable and I enjoy having similar interfaces on all my tvs without needing to connect a shield to each one. The remote is good, BUT not as good as the roku or the shield remote. They could work on the remote.

Wifi range appears to be terrific. It can reach my home network further than my cell phone can. Speakers are fine.

We have installed this in our camper using a $9 fixed mount. So far it has been great, we are going to get the 40" as well for the main trailer area.

I’ve really enjoyed this TV! I’ve had it for 6 months now and it still runs everything smoothly. I have had no problems connecting it to WIFI and I really like the remote tbh. It is a great alternative to the roku TVs. The size is perfect and I love that it is 1080 p instead of 720 p. Really great for gaming with bae.

I have wanted an real outside TV for a while and after have a few inside TV’s fail outside. I finally decided to spend the extra money and this Samsung and it is amazing. If you are looking at this TV buy it!! It is very bright and the picture quality is amazing. The overall look is great too.

Picture is amazing. Purchased the Samsung outdoor sound bar and the mounting was easy. We’ve created an outdoor viewing experience under our covered patio. Expensive but highly recommend.

Purchased this TV in February and it has performed perfectly, even in the extremes of weather this year. It is mounted on an outdoor covered deck and does receive partial sunlight. We have seen highs up to 117 degrees this year and have had no issues. I recommend this TV.

I got this outdoor TV for my roof deck, covered by a pergola/covering to protect it from the elements & sun. I also got the Samsung Terrace cover to go with it for further protection that we use religiously after each use. The TV has defected with streaks down the top and center of the screen, which the product team claims as sun-related and improper installation.

This is clearly a product related defect given it has hardly partial sun with my covered pergola roof above it. The TV is still under warranty but customer service claimed it was "Improper installation" and cannot do anything to help. They originally told me they would send a specialist out to come look at it but instead relied on pictures of TV alone to diagnose this "Improper installation" even though they cannot see any of the surrounding pergola/coverings.

Samsung has proven to me that as of today they still cannot make a high quality outdoor TV and unfortunately for us consumers, Samsung is not willing to take responsibility for these defects and repair/replace this product still under warranty. Very poor customer service and worst investment I have made.

I purchased this TV for my outside bar area near the pool. It is a covered area, and I put it on an adjustable arm so I can watch it while swimming in the pool. The color is great, and the HD quality looks great as well. I have many other Samsung TV's for indoor, and this TV is actually better than I expected. It is expensive, but I'm very happy with my purchase so far. I also bought a cover from Amazon, and if rain is in the area I get it covered up.

I am extremely happy with this TV. I felt uneasy with a Hisense product but after this I am comfortable with recommending them. The picture is sharp and volume gets pretty loud which is a good or bad thing depending on you're preference. We use it to watch movies mostly and find it great for those movie nights with friends/family. But gaming on it was also a fun experience. Not ideal for gaming but it works. Hanging it definitely needs two or more people to be safe. It did a lot of updating in the beginning but no big deal to me. And setting up accounts took some time, again no big deal to me. Other than that a great TV.

I got the 75 inch for Black Friday for 600 and I am very impressed with the quality! I'm upgrading from a 55 inch toshiba fire tv and this Hisense is already looking better. Some of the apps that aren't available on the fire store are available on this android TV, I was very surprised to see kodi had its own independent app on here making it way easier to update if your familiar and it has built in chrome cast, a bonus for me for showing my virtual reality oculus quest 2 to guests. If you need 3rd party apps like beastTV you can get that via downloader app. It will also scan around you for digital antenna channels as well, I didn't get any at my location so not sure how far the range is. It has automatic Dolby picture settings for when your watching quality content on your favorite streaming service it will adjust the display accordingly and man it looks great! I'm not a TV aficionado, but I have good vision and this highsense tv is spectacular for the price. The screen is prone to finger prints and definitely use a microfiber cloth to clean as I used windex on a paper towel to get off fingerprints from install and it left streak marks. Other than that the response from the remote is fast and yeah...I highly recommend if your the average person wanting a great TV.

Great size TV, wonderful 4K display and smart capabilities without hurting your wallet. Serves our movie nights much better now that we got this TV. Along with a good surround, HDR or Dolby Vision on, the movies are wonderfully perfect!

Ive had the jbl 3.1 soundbar with a 10 inch subwoofer and It wasn’t as full and complete as this soundbar, yes it hit a little deeper bass, but this is powerful and sounds more accurate. Super easy setup super great sound. Dont get a bluetooth speaker get this. Bang for buck.

Exactly the kind of quality, build, and sound I expect out of Samsung. Out of the box, it is packaged well, easy to set up, has everything needed to have a fantastic family movie night. Be the hero your family needs with this sound bar with wireless sub. The included optical audio cable makes the connection from the TV a breeze to setup. It includes wall mount brackets, which we didn’t use since our tv sits on our dresser, so the sound bar sits in front of it. The wireless sub can sit by the dresser and provide wonderful sound that fills the room, or next to the bed and feel that home theatre feeling as it rumbles next to us. Same would be by our living room TV and couch setup if we preferred, except that TV optical audio currently doesn’t work, so we tested on our newer TV. The system also has built-in Bluetooth, easy to pair as well, and ready to party in a matter of minutes. Overall the system feels durable, easy to read the display lettering on the front white leds that illuminate the sound choices. I was able to buy this at a dicount for my honest review so here it is. I am amazed at how easy the set up was. I love the optical connection or choice of Bluetooth. The sound with the immediate hook up was great, but with a little tweaking wow its amazing and the sub woofer bass makes at home movies sound like your at the theater. The only reason it did not get all 5 stars from me is because i cannot get the remote to function properly so turning the volume up and down has to be done on the sound bar itself. I sm still working on this tho.

I have not purchased a soundbar in years because the ones I've had in the past were just not good. This one is excellent! The setup is super easy. It is a nice size it fits perfectly on my television stand under my 65 inch television. I connected it to the television with the optical cable that came with it so I haven't used the Bluetooth yet but I plan to. The subwoofer is very good also the sound is amazing. I have it connected to my television and I am enjoying watching movie's with it . It Is almost like being at a movie theater. I haven't even adjusted the settings it sounds good just the way it is. I also listened to my amazon music with it and the sound is way better than my speaker that I always use so I plan to use the soundbar from now on. I would definitely recommend this soundbar.

This Soundbar and Dolby Subwoofer have a ton of power and sound! The bass is very nice and loud. The Subwoofer has high quality audio output, and the bass hits hard with out any distortion in sound. I love the different setting like Bass Booster, Gaming, and Surround. It was very easy to put set up. I used the optical cable for setup since my TV does not have Bluetooth, and it was very easy. This sound bar and subwoofer do not connect via WIFI or HDMI so make sure your device is cable of Bluetooth or has and optical input. It also does not have Alexa capabilities. The sound bar is very easy to mount and looks amazing. I have been using this system primarily for streaming movies, music, and gaming. The size is perfect for building high-performance computing systems. I definitely recommend this system for it's high quality audio and ease of operation.

I have never owned a soundbar but wanted a better TV experience. The set up was extremely smooth. I was concerned that the instructions were too short but it was so simple. I chose to set up my soundbar with the included wire versus Bluetooth. The set up took less than 2 minutes and the subwoofer connected automatically after I plugged it in. Everything was ready to go. The sound is very clear and the system is user friendly. It comes with a.remote that is also simple and user friendly. My TV with the bar sounds so much better than my TV alone does. I had this pair for over a year and it worked great, but then the plastic around the metal band that connects the two ear pieces started to crack, close to wear this band connects to the two ear pieces (so two cracks, one on each side). One of the ear pieces has finally snapped off, and is now just hanging by the wire.

Bought these so i can watch TV while my wife watches Youtube on her phone and we can both enjoy time in the same room without the TV drowning out her little earphones. Also she falls asleep before me and i can now watch tv without disturbing her sleep. The sound is amazing! The charge on these are great! This was the perfect solution to connect a non-bluetooth tv to bluetooth headphones. I live in an apartment and wanted to not disturb neighbors while watching tv music programs like THE VOICE and British TV which I needed to have a strong volume to understand the accents. The instructions were excellent.... Very clear and accurate. Took a few minutes to assemble and I was very happy with this product.

We always want to be conscientious of our Condo neighbors. The sound on our older TV jumps up for commercials, so we're constantly fighting with the remote to get it down. Easy to set up and use with good sound quality. I ordered this for my mother in law that's in a nursing home. She can now watch TV late at night without disturbing her roomate. She loves how soft and comfortable the headphones are. I feel like the price is a little high, but it met all of her needs so it was worth it.

I cosleep with my toddler and for the past year have just been watching Netflix on a small tablet. Now that I have these I’m able to watch Netflix on the big screen again! I love how long these can keep a charge. I was weary buying these after reading reviews that others couldn’t connect to Netflix, but after reading a few articles it was actually quite easy to change a few settings. I definitely recommend!

I bought this AVR for a strange reason: I was looking for an amp in this price range that could accept optical audio inputs. This has two optical and a coax, which each are assignable to one of six inputs. I do not plan to use this for video (maybe in the future) but for NAD C538 CD audio via coax and my two Macs (USB->optical adaptors).

I am also able to use a pair of the analog RCA audio inputs for the audio from an AirportExpress used as an Airplay receiver. I also picked up some RCA->HDMI adaptors, but I haven't used them yet.

So I'm very happy with what I can do with audio.

The sound is great through my smallish JBL Control 1's and a fairly conventional Pioneer subwoofer. I don't use the surround or center. This is actually the first receiver I've used with a setup mic situation and I have no doubt it really helped.

I Purchased thus Denon Receiver in March from Best Buy and it has great amplified sound thru my Klipsch Speakers and Subwoofer.

The Bluetooth Feature is great.

The Sony STR-DH590 is part of Sony’s new 2018 lineup and supports the newest audio and video standards such as Bluetooth audio streaming, Audio Return Channel (ARC), 3D over HDMI, HDMI 2.0b, HDCP 2.2, HDR (HDR10, HLG, Dolby Vision™ Compatible), along with 4K 60P 4:4:4 support.

All 4 HDMI inputs support HDMI 2.0b (which added support for HLG) and HDCP 2.2.

Setup was very easy. It only took a few minutes for me remove my old receiver (Sony STR-DG720) and hook everything up to the new one. When you first turn it on, you are presented with a GUI menu on your TV screen where you can then perform an easy audio calibration by plugging in the included microphone and placing it where you would normally sit. Then the receiver goes through a quick process by playing sounds through your speakers and adjusting the output. After a minute or two, your speakers are calibrated and the resultant sound is amazing!

I was always very happy with the sound from my old STR-DG720 and did not expect much improvement from the new STR-DH590 but I was pleasantly surprised by the improvement in sound quality I experienced. As with the STR-DG720, the new STR-DH590 produced vocals that were very clear and easily understandable. But everything sounded crisper and more detailed. Maybe I’m imagining things, but the position of sounds seemed more precise with sounds coming all around me. It seemed like I was hearing things that I did not hear before. I currently have a 4.1 speaker setup and the new receiver seemed to have brought new life to my old speakers.

The STR-DH590 also supports S-Force PRO Front Surround which is a technology that produces virtual surround sound using only 2 physical front speakers. I did not try this since I have 5 physical speakers in my setup.

With the new Sony STR-DH590, I am able to get full surround sound from all my media devices and game systems (Panasonic BD player, Apple TV, Fire TV, nVidia Shield TV, Roku Ultra, PS3, Wii U, and Xbox One S) while using NetFlix, Amazon Prime Video, and Vudu.

I did encounter a problem with my Xbox One S however. When I tried to use Amazon Prime Video with my Xbox One S, it displayed a blank screen with a message about not being able to display the content. I suspected a HDCP handshaking issue. My Xbox One S was connected to the STR-DH590 using an older external 1080p HDMI switch. I replaced the switch with a new Rocketfish RF-G1501 4K HDMI switch and new Rocketfish 4K HDMI cables and the problem went away. My other game systems (PS3 and Wii U) also work great with the new receiver.

I still only have a 1080p HDTV so I wasn’t able to judge it based on its 4K video capabilities but the STR-DH590 has all the 4K features that I would want when I do upgrade my HDTV.

There are some usability issues that could be improved upon. The on screen GUI menu feels incomplete because it cannot be used to adjust all the settings of the Sony STR-DH590. There are some settings that can only be adjusted using the display panel menu. In this day and age, I think the on screen GUI menu should be able to adjust every setting that is available on the display panel menu.

The display panel menu also has a dated feel (it’s very similar to the display panel menu on my old STR-DG720 receiver). There is also a disconnected feeling between the two menu systems. With the panel display menu, you can rename inputs. So, if I have my Roku Ultra connected to the receiver’s SAT/CATV HDMI input, I can use the display panel menu to rename it as “Roku”.

After doing this, when I switch the input by pressing the SAT/CATV button on my remote, the display panel will display “Roku”. But if I want to use the on screen GUI menu to switch inputs, the input is still displayed as “SAT/CATV” instead of “Roku” on the GUI.

Also, the new STR-DH590 has the same limitation as my old STR-DG720 where you can only use the optical audio input when using the TV as the source.

My HDTV does not support ARC and only has a coax digital output so I had to use a “coax to optical converter” to connect my HDTV to the new Sony STR-DH590. It would have been nice to have a choice of using either the coax audio input or the optical audio input when using the TV as the source. If it were possible to reassign the coax audio input to the TV source then I wouldn’t need a “coax to optical converter” and things would be a little less cluttered with my home theater setup.

Based on ease of setup, sound quality, compatibility with all my media and gaming devices, and support of the most recent video and audio standards, I would give the new STR-DH590 5 stars. I only wished the on screen GUI was a bit more full feature.

This is the 2nd Sony tuner I have bought in the last 2 years it does the job well and I haven't had any issues or complaints about the unit enjoy the fact that it includes Bluetooth which conveniently connects to my Alexis smart device and various other products great sounding tuner with plenty of power

This is a really nice receiver for the price. On my last theater receiver I had to manually power off the unit after use. This unit, if you used HDMI cables from all your input components (highly recommend) and to the tv. It will automatically turn the receiver On/Off with the TV. The audio menu is a little clunky to get through but easier through the remote control. The sound quality is really good. I use it to boost the sound of my TV in a large room, but it does so much more. A single button on the remote switches different inputs including Bluetooth sync to your tablet or phone. Still much to learn but happy with it so far.

Amazing unit especially paired with the right speakers. Went with the Sony center channel speaker paired with some vintage KLN’s. Definitely opens up the world of sound. Great investment will have for years.

This system is perfect for your home theater needs. I strongly suggest getting two sony subwoofers to even out the bass distribution. Youll have to tweak the crossover and db level after the auto calibration, but after that, its just like sitting in the theater.

An open box purchase, but works fine so far as I can tell. Had to order a remote and f. m. Antenna, which I’m still waiting for, but just using the buttons and knobs the options work well. I’ll know more when the remote arrives and I’ll update my review!

I had Onkyo TX-NR656 and i replaced it with this one not because this one was more powerful, just because it is slimmer and powerful enough for me. Now that i come from the very popular Onkyo TX-NR656 receiver, i can give you some comparison.

I understand that i will be comparing apples to oranges as the Onkyo costs $200 more than this one, with that being said, i think the feature set that you get with this receiver provided a good value.

So, Lets take the pros first. I love the slim design, i have a TV Stand which is open design and the Onkyo sticks out. with this one, its all the way in and with less than 6 inch (5 1/4") height, it is not massive. i like that.

My Prior Onkyo was 170W per channel and this one is 145W per channel and i can tell you that i cannot find any noticeable differance

HDCP 2.2 Support, both of them support it, This was a major compliant in the STR-DH550 model because that one did not support it. But sony now has corrected the mistake in this reciever by including it. Not only that HDR10 is also supported and i tested it with Netflix. Good Video output and Pass-through

Same as my Onkyo, Once you connect to the reciever, the receiver automatically turns on. So you do not need to look for the report nor you need to turn on the TV to play the music which is a good conveience. What i liiked about the Sony as compared to Onkyo is that Sony has a very quick connection vs Onkyo which is extremely slow.

Now to the Cons. This one does not have Dolby Atmos, for some folks this may be a bummer but i do not have 7.1.2 setup, so it did not matter to me much. i have 5.1 setup.

Other Cons, like Wifi, Chromecast, Pandora...All of these have workarounds, Pandora, Spotify on your phone and streaming via bluetooth will solve that. Wifi COnnection for playing media files? Hmm, I can connect a micro desktop to the HDMI Port and be done with that..Chromecast, The Onkyo Chromecast is frustratingly slow, So i rather connect a chromecast dongle to a HDMI Port, that solves that.

Now, I wish there were a couple more HDMI input. But for the price, i can live without it.

Use this for my song headset and woojer vest together for no wires and comfort when I’m gaming!

This MEE audio-Connect Hub audio Transmitter and Receiver was hooked up to our TV entertainment system to allow us to use our Bose wireless headphones alone or in conjunction with our Sonos system. My husband has hearing aids and while watching a movie, he finds listening through the Bose makes the sound clearer allowing him to enjoy the movie more. I also use the Bose headphones alone (by turning the sound down on our Harmony Remote) to watch TV after he goes to bed. The tech who hooked up our system needed to connect through our cable box, which remains on all the time; so we would not need to turn on the hub every time we wanted to use the headphones. We have it sitting on top of our Sonos bar to ensure the signal remains constant regardless of where we are sitting.

This item may be a bit pricey, but in my opinion, it is worth the money. It provides excellent dual bluetooth connectivity for my bedroom television, and its low-profile design does not light up the room.

Excellent product although a little pricey. Comes with everything needed for most hookups. Easy to setup and use. I'm using this on a receiver in a secondary room for occasional use. This unit has built in voice prompts. I would buy this product again.

This Bluetooth transmitter works great for hooking up headphones to the tv while I exercise! Or just don’t want to bug others while watching tv! simple to use, three ways to use it! I'm using the optical hook-ups for my LG TV.

Glad I spent a little more. Premium quality product. So very easy to set up. Be sure you let it charge up for awhile after you plug it into your power receptacle.. No lag and excellent sound transfer. I use it with a small Bose Sound Link and the sound on our TV is now amazing. Highly recommended.

I purchased this product online and the store had it ready within a couple of hours for pick up. I took it home and had it up and running in no time. Easy to install to my noise canceling headphones and are great for watching tv. I recently had hearing damage and needed an extra help in the hearing department while waiting to get a doctor appointment!

I bought a cheap Black Friday TV and didn't realize that it didn't have bluetooth capabilities. I bought this device so I can connect my headphones. I specifically wanted this model with the passthrough function since I use a soundbar as well. It works great for my needs and was easy to set up. Once plugged in, it stay on all the time so I only need to turn on my headphones to connect and don't need to press any buttons on this device. I have 2 headphones paired to it and they both work at the same time. The only downside is that it seems like there is a half second delay between the picture and the sound. I'm not sure if that's due to my cable or if this device causes a lag. But its not too noticeable so I can live with it. I can change the lag on my TV but it will then throw off the timing with my soundbar, which I use more frequently so i don't mess with it.

I wasn't expecting a lot from the Portal TV based on what I knew about the products that launched last year, so I'm pleased to say the newer iteration of Facebook's connectivity devices has actually pleasantly surprised me. I don't know how much of the functionality this year is new, so I'll cover what has me impressed, and why.

The first thing that grabs you is the Big Screen effect of being able to use the LARGEST screen in your home in the room(s) you frequent the most. No one wants to huddle around a tiny picture frame in a specific room like the Kitchen, Bedroom, or Living Room where this size screen makes sense. Having your target subject in nearly life-size glory on your large screen TV is REALLY immersive and connective. If you have small children, you will INSTANTLY see their faces light up at the novelty and warmth of seeing their Pop Pop and Gam Gam up close and personal.

The second most impressive feature, and this is actually probably the most impressive, is the Smart Camera auto-focus, tracking, and pan and scan. Honestly its as if a Camera man is directing the footage subtly zooming and panning around the room while the camera itself does not actually move at all. The motion is so smooth and subtle and not at all jarring.

Lastly, Alexa is a HUGE boon to this device. Not sure what Facebook had to give up to get Alexa integration, but it makes a HUGE difference in functionality taking this from a niche large-screen Facetime substitute, to turning your TV into a full-fledged massive Echo Show and Echo Speaker. If you are connected to an AV system through your TV or a smart speaker, you are going to get Amazon Music to your TV speaker system which is awesome.

On top of that, all of your Skills, including video skills are enabled. A bonus surprise for us was that Nanit recently enabled Alexa skill on Echo Shows. Guess what? It works with the Portal TV too, amazing, now I can move my Family Room Show to a different room.

Voice control using just speaking out or remote initiated microphone work great, as well as any Alexa type device. The Portal responds to Hey Portal for Portal specific functions, and Alexa for everything Alexa related.

In terms of set-up, it was overall very simple. There is a HUGE update that can take 10-15 minutes initially. Connecting to Facebook accounts is simple as you will get redirected to a URL on your phone or device that already has your Facebook account. You can then enter a Letter sequence to link up your Facebook account to your Portal TV.

SuperFrame is another cool feature that is probably better on the smaller picture frame devices, but it will cycle through you and your Friends/Family pictures in a slideshow on your TV.

There's also a few Cons that I should mention:

1) You need to provide your own 18Gbps Hi-speed HDMI cable. I used an older cable and it worked but it looked noticeably grainy. Still, not having everything needed to get up and running out of the box is a bad look, even my ISP provided cables with their cable boxes.

2) Requires AC power. The ads and commercials I saw said "HDMI cable only needed" and they don't even provide that, but on top of that, you need an AC adapter. This is important for folks who mount the Portal TV on top of the TV, as you will need power behind the TV or be prepared to hide another cable or extend power up to your TV if you hang it.

3) Remote doesn't match the build quality of the camera and small enough to get lost. Its kind of plasticky while the rest of the camera unit is rubberized and solid feeling. Its also small enough to get lost easily.

4) Switching TV input still makes it kind of clunky compared to a dedicated device. The good news is that the Portal TV has its own light up bar and speaker to signal an incoming call, so you can accept the call via Remote or voice before fumbling to find your TV remote to switch inputs.

5) Call connection is still a bit flakey. I've tried to call the Portal from my phone a few times and it didn't show up on my phone or on the Portal. Wait 5 minutes and it dials and connects without issue.

6) Echo cancelling and latency could be better. Its noticeable but not bad.

Despite all these minor quirks and negatives, I think this is actually a great device for the price. It turns something you almost certainly have and adds significant levels of functionality nearly seamlessly, while also adding a few bonus perks like Alexa.

I do expect it to get better over time and the Big Screen and Pan and Zoom smart camera effect really do bring you closer to loved ones effortlessly. Another bonus is I used to call my wife and 1 yo daughter via Facetime on my commute home, but my daughter used to try and grab the phone and got really upset if she couldn't play with it. Now with the Portal TV, she knows she can't grab it and just gets really excited seeing her larger than life daddy.

Overall I do recommend this for anyone with long distance relatives and especially with young children. Watching my daughter kick her legs uncontrollably when she saw her Pop Pop and Gam Gam on the bigscreen was literally priceless. Maybe someday Facebook will integrate this into TVs as an app or service, but for now, the Portal TV is a great way to connect with distant friends and relatives.

PS for those concerned about Privacy, you can close the camera shutter completely.

For WhatsApp callers this is perfect to have long natural calls with friends and relatives. The follow focus is great and fun! And portal comes with nice filters like in instagram that makes the call fun and kids would love it as well!

There are no much integration, so I just use it for WhatsApp. Zoom is supported but I don’t use zoom.

Fits nicely in TV! It didn’t come with hdmi cable so know that you need one to connect it to your tv.

The Facebook Portal TV with Alexa is a fun and interactive way to video chat with your friends or family. This device connects to your TV by way of HDMI and turns your TV into a large video chatting device. The camera on the Portal TV is a 12-megapixel camera that has full 1080p HD quality. 12 high quality microphones help to capture the audio on this thing, and I found it to work well. My daughter and my grandkids were on one end and my kids (yes, I have young kids and grandkids too) were on my end. 4 kids all excited and talking at the same time was a little too much at certain times, but for the most part the audio quality was great, and the “adults” could talk and carry on conversations. The pan and zoom features of the camera work great as well. Video quality does degrade a bit if it zooms in, probably due to the digital zoom) but when it is not zoomed in the quality is great.

Some of the other features that the Portal TV offers is augmented reality masks, playing games (while video chatting with friends), watching TV (Facebook watch party) together while video chatting, and story time with some cute kids’ stories. My girls love the augmented reality masks when we do the story time apps and makes them part of the story as well.

I did experience a small network issue after about 30 minutes, I noticed that my internet speed had dropped down to 3.19Mbps and the video and auto became very choppy, but a quick call disconnect and reconnect I saw my speed go up to the advertised speed of 102Mbps again. I don’t know if the Portal TV was to blame or my router was. Overall the quality has been good, and I haven’t experienced that same issue again.

I was initially worried about privacy, but happy to see that the camera does have a privacy cover that you can close, and you can also mute the microphone on it. If you are worried about leaving this on all the time, then simply just close the cover and mute the microphone.

Over-all this is a fun way to interact with your family and friends who are afar and can make it seem like you are all in the same room. It was fun to sit on the couch and watch them sitting on their couch as well and still feel close.

We bought this product to make phone calls and absolutely love it. The camera follows you which is very convenient. Ask for privacy it's easy to turn off the audio with a click of a button or close the camera. I highly recommend this product to anybody that video chats with family members.

We used to use Skype until this came along. It is much more interactive and the kids love that's funny faces we can put on each other.

Using the Facebook Portal TV reminds me of the time in the movie Back to the Future part II where future McFly is talking to Needles on his big screen TV. However, the Portal TV is much higher clarity and we have face tracking. The Portal TV is like your own personal home video teleconferencing system. However, you don’t need an IT team to set it all up. If you know how to connect an HDMI cable to your TV, connect to your WiFi and use Facebook, you are already an expert. Once connected everything else is guided through on your TV.

Initial setup did take about 30 minutes or so as it did require some updates plus you have to use another internet connected device to connect the Portal TV to your Facebook account. Once running though I was able to call anyone in my contacts that has Messenger, Whatsapp or another Portal device with voice or the included remote. Voice activation works with “Hey Portal” and some various commands. I found out the hard way that watching a Portal ad with Katy Burg will also try to call Katie on my friends list.

The face tracking on this single camera is pretty surprising. For a single wide angle camera it acts like you have your own cameraman as it follows you around and zooms in and out when there are others in the room. However, it could still use some work as there are times when it doesn’t pick up others that you want or the tracking has your head more at the top of the screen. There are several times that I wanted to point something else out in the room, like my dog, but unless my face was there no one could see it. An option to manually control the pan and zoom would be ideal, but for now the only manual option is a spotlight where you can select one face out of the room. This strangely works on large pictures in the background too as I stole the focus from a friend and it zoomed into their picture on the wall.

If you have kids or family and friends that are distant, this is by far the coolest thing. With the camera able to see the majority of my living room, kids are easily able to run around and play while talking to whomever. There are times I wish I had something like this when my kids were younger and we were hundreds of miles away from the rest of our family. Not only is it great for seeing and talking, but there are fun little augmented effects, games and story books that make it a fun event. There are still some minor issues with the effects and the position in which a single person is placed in the face tracking messes with some of them even more. Especially if you try the shared effects where it seems to only focus on the center of the camera and your head is is too high on the screen to play the games. The shared effects also only work Portal to Portal even though Messenger has some of the same activities.

Another shared feature is being able to use Facebook Watch and view videos that are on Facebook with another Portal TV user. While watching the video either person has the option to play/pause the video however some other features will be limited. It also starts the video before the other person starts watching it, but will rewind it so that you are both watching it at the same time. This is a feature that I wish the could expand into other smart apps such as CBS and Starz so that you could watch other shows together or in group calls.

Speaking of smart apps, there are a few apps like Spotify, Pandora, Red Bull TV, CBS, Starz, Showtime and a couple others that allow you to turn your TV into a smart TV. However, some of the most common smart apps are not available. Another smart feature is having Alexa integrated, once logged into your Amazon account. Just like any Alexa device, just say “Hey Alexa” and whatever it is you need and it will respond through the integrated speaker of the Portal TV device. Some of the features I have used on other Alexa devices did not seem to respond on this one though.

You can have up to 5 accounts associated with the Portal. The primary account, or first account, will have to use the device code first in order to add another user which will have another device code. When the second user was added, none of their contacts showed up. However, we were able to call that profile and answer from the Portal. After a while though, contacts did finally show for this account. The only issue I had from there is when trying to connect with others on the Portal through Messenger as it will ask to answer and drop call until the other person answers on their other device.

The portal TV reminded me a lot of the Xbox Kinect in the build style and size. However, the Portal TV easily rests on top of my thin TV or entertainment center with the ability to ever so slightly angle down. The Portal TV is also its own smart device so it only needs the TV for video and sound. For those concerned about privacy you can slide a little panel in front of the camera which turns off video and the button on the side disables the microphone, indicated by a red light that it is off.

Bottom line is that this is an amazing device and is really meant for you to share with other Portal TV users to get the most out of it. If you want to stay visually connected with family and friends this is so much better than a webcam or a phone cam even though it is limited to the area the TV is in. I feel this is more of a 4.5 star, and since this is the first generation I feel they have plenty of room to improve.

What a astonishing invention and fun for the whole family! I had my hesitations off course because how could a small bar the size of a candy bar do it all?

Well it does...

It tracks your face and moves with your movements which is the weirdest thing, voice recognition, funky games that had both families laughing and I can shut the camera off manually for privacy!

I love that the person receiving my call doesn’t need to have a Portal but if you do be ready for fun times.

My family and I use it weekly to catch up from a distance. I’m not able to go home often so I can keep up with my grandmother more often now.

This is something everyone can enjoy and I’m so happy to have it in my home.

Lastly, you can watch shows with other users, download apps like Stars within the Portal and it uses your Facebook photos as screensavers which came out beautifully!

100% recommend this for any person who loves to keep in touch.

I use to do video calls to my family in the Philippines. There is nothing like it anywhere. It works perfectly. Go get two so you have one at each location. You must see this to believe what it can do. The whole family is so excited about it's capabilities. You can barely make it out in the included pic sitting up on top of the flat screen. Bought this to replace an old 1080 and wow that a great TV. We have a nicer one for the tv room, but this one (a spare) is AMAZING! $249 for a 50” UHD 4K tv, what a deal and the Amazon fire works so well with apps!

Picked this up on Black Friday sale for $129.99. Honestly wasn't expecting much but this sound bar has been impressive so far. Easy wall mount, easy connectivity to TV via Bluetooth. Subwoofer was plug and play. Sound quality is awesome and LOUD. For $129 this thing is a steal. Recommend.

Big no for me. I have a 2.1 Vizio sounbar and sub that i wanted to replace (volume cuts in and out) with this one but it sounds horrible in comparrison. Small step up from tv speakers. It’s soooo bad…even at 129.00 it’s bad.

I was drawn to these headphones initially because of their 30 hour battery life and was curious to see if that would hold up.

The unit comes packaged with a compact carrying case and I thought that was a very welcoming bonus.

Set up was a breeze as these were in pairing mode as soon as they booted up. My favorite features have to be the sound quality range and how they isolate noise. I can barely even hear my wife vacuum, it's very easy to zone out in these. I like to keep mine in my media room , but they work extremely well at a gym. The four equalizers have their own button so it's very easy to use and notice the effects it has. My favorite is the bass boost obviously for music but the two video EQ's also change the feel of what your watching. After a three days of heavy use they're at 30% which is very impressive considering how loud i have these running.

What can I say... These headphones are absolutely amazing. After receiving my headphones I plugged it right into my computer and tested it out with music. The bass is at a great level, and the sound couldn't be any crisper.

I also tested it on my TV, and this Cinema feature is AWESOME!!! The dialogue from the movie I was watching provided such a clear voice. It was as if the person was in my room!!

The worst headphones ever ! The headphones have broken on Left ear side again for the third time for no apparent reason the headphone do not leave my living room I use them to listen to my TV at night. I am finding this to be very annoying and frustrating. Had two replacement pair and they have broken again for the 3rd time I have had it with these HP

The sound signature for watching tv is great, but they rest on top of my ear lobs, creating pain enough that I had to give these to my wife (she did not have a issue with) and bought another brand for myself. The speakers are too shallow, and/or the ear pads are not deep enough to make comfortable for me.

For the money, they seem like a great deal. I wound up buying Sennheiser's PX550's which turn out to a better fit for me.

This is my 2nd purchase from the brand MEE audio, and I've got to say I'm thoroughly impressed.

I purchased this along with their transmitter to test its usability for my girlfriend and me. We live in an apartment where loud sounds after a certain time are forbidden and will result in our neighbors knocking at our door--it's happened and we don't want that!

The equalizer function button thing works surprisingly well. Clear Voice 1 and 2 to bump up clarity on the vocals worked perfectly for tutorial videos and movies, but switch that to bass boost and it's a party!

One thing I'm not a fan of is this multipoint feature that allows you to connect up to 2 source devices and is automagically enabled; however, the ability to disable it is a blessing.

I'll be purchasing a 2nd headphone to pair with the transmitter, and hopefully the process to pair both headphones is as easy as one.

Bought these about 3 weeks ago and have been using them every day since then. I had a set of the Matrix 3 which I am very pleased with and I wanted to step my game up to the new new.

THE CASE: First of all, LOVE that it comes with a case. If you're going to go out and make a healthy investment into some tools, it's nice to have the manufacturer take us into consideration by adding that extra value. The case fits the aux cable, charging cable and headphones without having to collapse the headphones, just turn the earpieces sideways which make it easy to put in ( unlike the Matrix3 which require you to fold it a little bit to make it fit) the quality of the case is legit, although I am no longer in school, I would say that this case could share the space in the big pocket with a 10lb textbook and a laptop and be just fine. [PRO TIP] In addition to that you can also fit a charging block (android or apple) in the carrying case, it helps in consolidating your electronics stuff in your bag!

THE FIT: Even if your not much of an on the go person these are still great headphones to use at home. They sit a bit tighter than the Matrix 3 on the smallest setting which is perfectly fine because if the band does wear over time, you can always set it to the tighter setting assuming your initial setting is bigger than the smallest. I've been able to wear these comfortably on my head for 12 hours straight on one of my gaming sprees (CS:GO). They ARE heavier than the Matrix3s but that's just what you get with quality, but even still its not like wearing a helmet lol.

THE QUALITY: My main use for these headphones is on my desktop connecting via the MEE audio - Connect Hub Audio Transmitter and Receiver. I was a bit skeptical when trying to go for a wireless setup when I'm going to be playing the online sensation Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. ANY slightest bit of lag would mean getting pwned in the face. I was pleasantly surprised at how crisp and NO LAG the sound quality was. just WOW, it's great. I even walked out of my office to the backyard (~40ft with 2 walls) and still got solid music reception. Music is awesome again. These produce such a crisp sound that doesn't feel like its being forced when the volume is high.

BATTERY LIFE: Haven't had this thing run out of battery on me during use. I use it for most of the day but I also make sure to charge it every night like I do my phone.

I want to buy another pair! Will buy again.

These are super powerful headphones with easy adjustable settings to increase treble, bass, or voice. It’s located right on the side of the headphones. I’ve tested these listening to music compared to a regular set of headphones, and these are greatly superior. I’ve also watched films and concerts on my big screen wearing the headphones and it’s like a surround sound system around your head. And one around can hear anything. If they’re studying or need to focus without having music or films blasting, slip on these headphones and problem solved.

Pleasantly surprised! I been using Sony's Wireless (not Bluetooth) headphone set to watch TV due to an opened concept (Dueling TVs) house design and they were okay until the ear pieces start to all apart. I purchase MEE Audio Bluetooth transmitter and they provide a much better listening experience. I used them with my Bluetooth over the ear headphones and the sound is crystal clear and have decent range if you go downstairs to the kitchen etc.. The set up was easy and it pairs with my earphone everytime. I am happy with my purchase.

My TV did not have Bluetooth, so wireless headsets could not be used. I needed a headset with a wire which is most inconvenient. Does not need a separate power transformer and I plugged directly into a DISH Hopper 3 using the optical output and everything worked Great. Now I don't disturb the wife and she can watch her programs and I can watch mine.

Initially unit paired with only one of two identical Bluetooth headphones. After multiple attempts, unit finally paired with second headphone. After two weeks, unit dropped one of the headphones again and will not connect. Suspect headphone connects no problem with my iPhone 7 so I may have to return to Best Buy for replacement.

By far the easiest setup and use of this product. I rate (in my mind) electronic equipment on how easy it is to tell my 87yo dad in Vegas how to set up any new equipment. He would have no problem with this hook up.

Was told by LG support the 4K Smart Tv I wanted to order already had Bluetooth. Ordered the TV and when I can I’m saw that it didn’t have it. Went to Best Buy in Bossier City and the gentleman that worked in the TV area told me what I needed to hook up up Bluetooth LG headphone to my LG TV and said all I would have to do it plug it into the tv and the power cord into the wall and turn it on. I have never bought anything that did exactly what the directions said, except that night when I did exactly what he said. In my headphones I heard “connected” and the sound from the tv was playing in my ears. I was blown away that there are things out there that are really simple to set up and use. I love this Bluetooth transmitter and am glad that the Best Buy gentleman who works in the tv are in Bossier City suggested it to me

I’ve only had this TV for a little over a month now and so far it exceeds my expectations! The picture is great daytime, evening or night. I did install it in a outdoor case (storm shell) for added protection and it actually amplifies the sound so no additional speakers are needed. I get nothing but complements on this awesome TV. I didn’t have a good spot on my house because of all the windows so I installed it on 2 posts cemented in the ground on the side of my patio and it turned out great.

Be careful, this is not an Outdoor TV, even though it costs x4 times what a normal TV does. I've owned another set from the leader in outdoor TVs for almost 3 years and i am very happy with the brand: Very resistant, sustained multiple Florida storms just protected by its cover, and no damages. Antiglare screen with perfect image even with direct sunlight.

Magnolia convinced me of upgrading to the new Samsung, as for the same price ($5k) i could get a larger set.

Well, this is what i got for the same price:

- glossy screen with no anti-glare. Horrible reflection at least until 5pm.

- The TV is under a roof and protected by a screen, but does receive wind and rain in heavier weather. The first time there was a heavy rain and wind the screen got damaged. Called Samsung and their response is that this is a very sensitive screen that is not design to be exposed to wind and heavier weather. The technician that came to my home even said that besides protecting the connections in the back and having more resolution this is just a normal TV. That i shouldn't have put it outdoors as it is very sensitive.

In summary, save your dollars and buy the real outdoor TV brand, that will last you longer and give you a much better image

The picture on this television is unbelievable. We owned a smaller different brand of outdoor tv. This unit is so far ahead of the other brand with all the features of an indoor tv including streaming capabilities.

It fits my Bose headphones--2.5 mm plug on one end and 3.5 mm on the other--but the 2.5 mm one should fit more tightly and is too easy to knock loose.

I had been wanting a TV for my office/spare bedroom, and came across this one. I'm a big Android user, and my other TV's are also Android TV's, so I wanted to stick with that for consistency. Also, didn't want to spend a ton of money. This fit the bill perfectly. Mounted it on the wall, and had it up and going in no time. Good picture quality, and decent sound, works well with my Google home assistants as well.

Only reason for the 4 stars, is performance wise it's a little on the slow side. However, you do get what you pay for, and for what I paid, that's a pretty fair trade off.

Very nice TV for my garage gym. The picture is amazing, the android operating system is nice if you are used to it. The sound quality is better than expected by far for this size TV. My only issue is something unimportant but i can't get the aspect ratio to adjust properly when using pandora. I can not find a remedy to using a half screen on pandora.

It was easy to set up, which I was able to do myself as my husband is ill. Picture is extremely clear and viewing tv has become a pleasant experience once again.

Thought this was an excellent deal. Nice tv, poor design. I guess they must assume you’ll hang it because the feet barely hold it up! It has tipped over many times, today the screen cracked! Less then a year and trash due to very poor design. Unless you plan on hanging, look at a different product!

The tv stands don’t screw in all the way with screws provided and keeps knocking out internet for tv.

It’s a decent tv for the price. I night 2 for my kids rooms. They love it. The remotes didn’t come with it so it’s kinda difficult sometimes to operate with a universal remote.

Working good for me. I brought this for my kitchen and it works with my hdhomerun. It allows.me to watch my DRM copy protected channels. That saves me a cable box. I own Firetv and Rokus but really like Android better. I do wish it was 1080p but it still looks good for kitchen or play room

The UI is horrific. I mean, this thing is so slow it's almost unusable. The price point is great as are all of the features but I would ONLY recommend this set to someone who needed BLUETOOTH AUDIO. That is the MAIN (and only) reason I bought this thing and if not for Bluetooth, I would have returned it long ago. If you don't need Bluetooth, buy something else.

Haven't had the TV very long but I already appreciate the technology. It does seem to disconnect from the internet and will not respond to prompts to reconnect. The fix I found was to unplug the unit and re-power. The stand design screams cheap import toy. That was a failure for this unit. Hopefully not the entire family. I would recommend for niche but not for someone with high quality standards.

Once I put this device and my wireless headphones in pairing mode they connected instantaneously. Once paired, they both connected immediately every subsequent time that I used them. Once connected the pairing was rock solid and reliable. Two pair a second set of headphones was as simple as pairing the first.

The sound quality was not only excellent, but also completely lag free. I could not tell the difference between listening wirelessly as opposed to listening wired on my Sony Headphones. The advanced apt x codecs will really make a difference if your headphones are apt x compatible.

I immediately noticed the impressive signal strength and range of this Bluetooth transmitter. It is advertised as up 100 feet, and very impressively I had no problem receiving a signal anywhere in my two-story house.

I am not going to use the Receiver mode at this time, but appreciate that it has the capability.

---BOTTOM LINE---

Get this device if you want the very best Bluetooth performance that is out there. Yes it is expensive, but it has the premium performance, range, and versatility to match the price. The transmitter in this device has at least double (maybe triple) the range of any other Bluetooth device that I have used.

The superb sound quality and capability to use two pairs of wireless headphones at the same time, makes this my new favorite device!

Long distance Bluetooth communication.

Set up fairly simple. I use mine to transmit to my headphones, but a second pair can receive the signal as well. I performed a range test by going outside to the farthest point in my yard. I concur it can transmit the 100-feet listed in the specs.

The Aluratek Bluetooth has inputs say from your TV or computer that can be used to add a Bluetooth transmitter to a device that doesn't have one built in.

But it can also receive Bluetooth audio. Say from your phone or laptop to an amplifier in the garage with attached speakers. Dual purpose.

Okay, the only bad thing I have to say is why not supply a power brick? You are forced to find a USB power source, be it your laptop or another power brick or charger that the USB cable can be plugged into. The cord they supply is plenty long.

For what it is designed to do, the Aluratek xmitter/receiver will do the job, clearly and without any latency in the video to audio sync.

I have an older high end Alesis THX certified speaker system in my office that was made for use with computers. Because it's older, it presented some challenges with respect to connectivity problems with my iPad or iPhone. With this unit I can get a high-quality input signal transfer via Bluetooth and then send it to my system via a digital optical out and I get an incredible sound reproduction through the Alesis system. Wow, it's amazing and easy to hook up and like I said it sounds great !

This little device saved my stereo receiver from going the attic where all unused devices go to die. I can play audio from my phone on my stereo in RX mode and hear my TV audio in bypass mode. You can also listen to audio through a 3.5 mm jack or Bluetooth headphones in TX mode, but I have no need for that. I haven’t noticed any loss in audio quality from either input; I have excellent speakers and the audio sounds great. The Bluetooth pairing was simple and the device doesn’t automatically connect to your phone every time you’re nearby, therefore it doesn’t interfere with using other Bluetooth devices. It’s very light and I had to manipulate it and the cables to make it sit flush to the shelf.

The package comes with a 3.5mm cable, RCA cables, a micro USB cable (no wall adapter and works well with my 5V 2A adapter) which isn’t mandatory as long as it’s sufficiently charged according to the manual, and a RCA Y cable. This device has everything you need to get set up. I ended up using all of them for my setup.

Here’s some background info:

I have a vintage JVC receiver that I love that only accepts RCA and CompuLink input. I needed a solution that would allow my receiver to accept the optical output of my LG TV (which as of 2019 is the only audio output, to my dismay) as well as Bluetooth audio.

I searched online and nice of the solutions were both low profile and provided the in/outputs that I need. I didn’t think Best Buy would have this device because it’s more of a niche item. Surprisingly, they had it! I’m fact, my local store just opened back up from the lockdown and they had it in stock! The associates in the store didn’t even understand what was for... In any event, I love it and it does exactly what I need we’ll.

Tested on an older TV and a newer smart tv. This device works better than I anticipated. Easy to use and understand. It works great with two headsets paired.

It has long range, I can walk from the living room to the back room and still hear the tv.

There is no latency! The audio runs perfectly in sync with the screen.

I did my research when looking for a good Bluetooth transmitter and it lead me to this device. In my opinion, Best bang for your buck.

I don’t know many cases in this day and time that pushing audio wirelessly would be considered a bad thing. In fact, we almost expect our devices to have this functionality built in, allowing seamless streaming of audio to various devices. There are cases where this functionality doesn’t exist, and that’s where Aluratek’s Universal Bluetooth Audio Receiver and Transmitter comes in.

Having used an older model of this device in the past, I felt both comfortable and happy about this device before even opening it. The package is very unassuming and should be categorized as plain. Handling the device reveals decent build quality, giving a feeling of a sturdy device. It doesn’t have that premium feel, but it isn’t cheap either. Aluratek includes just about everything you need to get the device up and running. There are connectivity cables (3.5mm, RCA, and optical cables) and a USB cable for power and charging. Device setup is a simple, and I found it easy to connect Bluetooth devices – I do have experience in this area.

This device performs phenomenally as a Bluetooth transmitter, putting out stereo sound to a maximum of 2 devices simultaneously. The signal is very strong with a decent level of penetration and distance. The stream quality is excellent. I experienced no sound loss or interference issues. One of the few issues I have is the inability to stream surround sound. You can connect an optical cable to the Aluratek, but it only transmits stereo. The device also works as a receiver, so you can use it to push sound to devices that don’t have wireless connectivity – older stereo units, powered speaker additions, etc. Whether receiving or transmitting, the Aluratek performs admirably, and with a built in battery, it lends to flexibility in specific use cases. Actually, the battery makes this device more travel friendly, in my opinion. I find such devices are wonderful in situations like watching TV in bed to keep from disturbing a partner, or isolating a specific sound when others are engaged in something completely different.

Overall, I have to call this a can’t miss product. It’s one of those things that I feel nearly everyone should have available at their disposal. Some may use such a device more than others, but the ability to push any audio source to a Bluetooth stream in any direction is much more than a nice to have!

I bought this Aluratek Bluetooth receiver/transmitter so I could watch movies at night with my Bluetooth headphones. It works great. It can link with up to two Bluetooth headsets. Just know that if you want to link up more than two Bluetooth headsets, you will need to buy additional units and split the signal to go into each unit.

Note: This unit also has a bypass feature (an optical, aux adapter), so for example, if you have a tv with an optical audio output, but you want to run the signal to a speaker with only an aux input, this unit can conveniently act as an adapter for your cables.

Have a receiver without bluetooth, but way too nice to get rid of. Read all the reviews (mixed), and took a chance. Works well for me. Not quite wired-CD quality, but better than radio, and I can stream from my phone, and music silences with incoming calls, nice. Works well for my studio space, haven't tried big distances, and probably won't need to. Good value.

Dream come true!!!! I have been hunting for a way to give life back to my IPod Classic. I have spent YEARS filling it with over 100GB’s of music. I'm not a huge fan of newer Bluetooth earbuds it headsets because they cause too much of a seal from the world. ( If that doesn't bother you though, check out pretty much anything from Anker )

I purchased these to use in conjunction with my Koss on the ear headsets and three newest Google Chromecast with Google TV so that I can listen to content that is being streamed.

These work wonderfully as a receiver. I have not yet tried as a transmitter but I would think that the performance would be the same or similar.

Can’t complain at all! I originally bought it for my stereo receiver to use it as a Bluetooth option but I never realized that it doubles as a transmitter either and you can use ANY headphones including AirPods to listen to the tv in a more quiet setting! Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to convert something older and bring it up to date with Bluetooth!

I purchased this largely in part because a feature on the Aluratek website stated it would turn off 5 minutes after a device was disconnected. This would help prolong battery life!! THERE IS NO AUTO TURNOFF. I emailed the company, providing screen shots and they simply said, must have been a typo error on the website. No apology whatsoever. I will be returning this item.

Aluratek wireless tx and rx device was flexible and easy to configure. Connect iPod or I Phone to older hard wired stereo devices or connect older stereo devices to newer wireless headphones and vise versa. Very easy to install and links up seamlessly every time! See Pictures as installed to both RCA inputs or Headphone output from my Old School Boombox. Also have one hooked to my whole house audio input on my home stereo which I connect to both my iPhone and PC for unlimited musical applications.

I purchased this for an older smart tv so that Bluetooth headphones could be used to listen to it privately.

Pros: it is both a transmitter and a receiver, it includes a red/white Y-style RCA cable adapter as well as a standard aux plug, it charged quickly with the included usb charging cable, it has a separate power button, and it was very easy to set up and pair.

Cons: the volume was very limited and low, requiring the volume on the Aluratek and both the headphones and tv/cable to be at max to listen comfortably (loud volume is impossible. Audio quality is just passable. Additionally, the battery life is unknown and the price is quite high.

If this unit was priced at $25 or less, it would be much more reasonable; $42.50 is really an exorbitant amount particularly for an item that lacks high quality audio fidelity.

I bought this sound bar for just a little better sound output out of my 55” TCL TV. Well this was a big surprise once I received and set it up. Setup was simple as it did most of the setup for me since it was a TCL sound bar/TV it integrated itself. Only thing I had to do is literally take it out of box, plug in power cord and connect to HDMI ARC and it did the rest for me. Once I heard the sound that came from it I was impressed. No there’s nothing fancy about it and it only has 3 preset EQ settings. The “movie” setting has the most amount of bass and it’s sound quality is great. For the low price this is way more than I expected and is comparable to some of the high end models.

I would have given a Five Star for Sound quality based on Price. For $99 , It was a Great Value, Good sound, easy to hook up using a HDMI to my Audio Return Channel (ARC) input on my TCL 65S435 TV, all controlled by the TV Remote.

However ! . . . since the second day, it has had random problems with the Subwoofer connecting through Bluetooth with the Sound Bar. Typically , I just unplug the subwoofer and it reconnects, but occasionally that doesn't work , , , I try various things, like rebooting the Sound Bar, unplugging it, moving the Subwoofer, Resetting the Subwoofer

I contacted TCL Support and received various suggestions, none that changed the problem of the Subwoofer randomly not communicating with the Bluetooth from the Soundbar, when turning on.

I live about 60 miles from Best Buy, and had considered returning it, but felt that the odds were great of another unit doing the same thing. As of this review, my Return Window has expired, anyway.

Crazy as it sounds . . . I'm considering adding a Remote Controlled Power Switch to the Subwoofer power line, so that I don't have to get back up to unplug and replug when it happens, since that often solves the problem. . . .this isn't laziness, but my 70 year back and knees don't appreciate having to crouch to unplug.

It works great with my TCL TV. I have no complaints about this purchase. Music sound good when played on the Soundbar as well.

Using this TV for a bedroom. Already have a 28" LG28LM400B-PU in another bedroom. Was going to just buy another of the same 28" LG but was able to fit this Hisense 32" in an existing wall unit. It's not a bad TV but the picture isn't quite as clear and crisp as the LG. However, it wasn't bad enough for me to go through the return process. The sound from the speakers is pretty bad so I hooked up some external speakers. If a 28" is adequate for your needs I recommend the LG over this Hisense.

I got this TV for my parents boat house. There is a lot of glare being outside even though the TV is covered from all weather. This gets very bright that you can view it in most angles outdoors. The Android TV built in was perfect as well so I didn't need an additional dongle to stream videos.

Love this TV. I have 4 of them in a taproom. I don’t use the built in speakers so I can’t attest to their quality, but the picture is sharp and vivid.

The Winegard PureTV Pro 60 - Indoor Smart Amplified HDTV Antenna With Bluetooth Technology Signal Meter will certainly appeal to “cord-cutters” who desire to reduce or eliminate their cable TV or streaming subscription TV expenses by watching HD broadcast television, including the major networks, without charge. However, an HDTV antenna also has potential for people with unreliable cable or satellite TV services and for people who do not have cable TV available to them.

Prior to 2009, broadcast television was analog. Obtaining an acceptable television signal was accomplished by repositioning the antenna while watching the TV reception until the optimum viewing image was obtained. A weak signal degraded TV image quality, resulting in “snow” or “ghosting”, however it might still be adequate for viewing.

On June12, 2009 the FCC mandated the transition from analog to digital television broadcasting. Digital television allowed for greater spectrum efficiency, and the FCC was able to recover a significant amount of Radio Frequency (RF) spectrum, the majority of which was auctioned to cellular providers, with a small portion of spectrum reserved for public safety.

The consequences of digital television frequently include lower range for TV signals, as well as reduced in-building penetration. Wherein a weak analog television signal degraded picture quality, but might still be viewable, a weak digital television signal results in no useable picture at all.

Outdoor antennas elevated on masts or roof mounts will almost always outperform indoor antennas, but installing one is not always practical. Watching digital broadcast television with an indoor antenna can be challenging. The number of viewable television stations will be limited to those with sufficient signal strength to reach the building, and to penetrate the walls and roof of the structure.

With conventional digital television antennas, time and effort is needed to repeatedly reposition the antenna and perform the slow process of rescanning the channels on the television in an effort to find the best antenna position.

The Winegard PureTV Pro 60 Antenna accelerates, refines and improves this optimization process and rapidly and efficiently facilitates mounting the antenna in the best location and orientation to receive the greatest number of television channels. The Winegard PureTV Pro 60 accomplishes this by including an inline receiver, which acts as an RF signal strength meter, to scan the television frequencies and transmit the acquired channel and signal strength data via Bluetooth to your smartphone. The Winegard PureTV Pro 60 also includes an integral signal amplifier, which improves the signal strength from the antenna elements to the television.

The Winegard PureTV Pro 60 is comprised of a thin 12”x13” flexible vinyl panel, within which antenna elements for reception of both VHF and UHF frequencies are embedded. The vinyl is white on one side and black on the other.

A 1 dB gain signal amplifier is attached to the antenna panel and a 15’coaxial cable is permanently connected to the amplifier and then routes to the RF receiver unit, which requires USB power. A 120 volt A/C power supply is included, with a 35” long USB –A to micro USB cable. The receiver can also be powered from a USB port on the television.

The mini RG59 coaxial cable exiting the receiver unit is 41” in length, and is terminated with an “F” connector for connecting to the RF port on the television. The overall length of the coaxial cable between the antenna and the television is 18.5’. Inasmuch as the cable distance between the TV and the inline receiver unit is 41”, and the USB power cable is 35” in length, it may be challenging to access a 120 VAC power outlet within 35” of the receiver. I found it necessary to power the receiver from a USB port on the television. The coaxial cable connections to the antenna panel and the receiver unit are all captive, permanent attachments.

The Winegard Connected app (Android and iOS versions– I used Android) is employed to optimize the antenna installation location and orientation.

In order to use the Winegard Connected app, it is required that a Winegard website account be created. The login credentials (email and password) are the same for the website and app. I do not believe that an online account with a manufacturer should be a prerequisite to using their smartphone app and television antenna. As part of the setup process, the Winegard Connected app requires scanning the QR code on the antenna’s receiver unit and pairing via Bluetooth. I received repeated error messages in the app that the receiver could not be accessed or successfully paired. Those error messages were erroneous. In fact, the receiver had successfully paired with the smart phone, and ignoring the error messages and proceeding with scanning for channels worked fine. The app uses the phone’s GPS location, or a manually entered address in order to ascertain the broadcast tower location and channel data. Following the instructions for experimentally positioning and repositioning the antenna and determining the best mounting location was easily facilitated by the antenna’s receiver unit. The channel scanning process is rapid, therefore repositioning the antenna until the app reports the maximum number of channels is quick and easy. Final mounting of the antenna is accomplished with the two included 3M Command strips.

The Winegard antenna is directional, as are most TV antennas. Winegard instructs to allow 6 – 12 seconds between each antenna repositioning and channel rescan, to allow the electronics and the app to update the data. However, I observed that the channel quantity, particularly of moderate and weak channels reported by the app, fluctuated while the antenna panel remained in a fixed, stationary position. I do not know if the fluctuations are attributable to hardware or software. Nevertheless, the app was consistent in reporting the best channel scan results when the antenna was positioned in the same, optimal location.

I installed the Winegard Connected app on two Android phones with different versions of Android. The issues with pairing (erroneous error messages) and channel data fluctuations were consistent. An additional issue was that the app failed to close upon exit. Resultantly, it was necessary to force close the app.

Since all RF including television signals are attenuated by physical barriers, including walls, roofs, trees and other buildings in the RF signal path, and signal strength is further attenuated by the density of those obstructions, it may be necessary to relocate the antenna several times in order to find the best mounting location. In general, a window may provide better received signal strength, while a concrete wall or metal house siding may attenuate the RF signal significantly.

The Summary View in the app presents each channel scan result in the form of Total Available Channels, as well as quantifying the Strong, Moderate and Weak Channels. The List View depicts the channels being received, including Channel Number, Network and Signal Strength. The List View facilitates ensuring that the most desired, “must see” channels are available with sufficient signal strength. The Map View graphically depicts the television broadcast towers in the area, and the relative signal strength from each.

The installation process is completed by scanning channels on the connected television after mounting the antenna.

Once I had accomplished the antenna optimization process, I elected to compare the effectiveness of the Winegard PureTV Pro 60 antenna, which includes a signal amplifier and boasts a 60 mile range, to an inexpensive, non-amplified HDTV antenna, which costs about $15.00 and claims a 30 mile range.

Additional online resources which provide channel availability and RF signal sufficiency information for a particular geographic location are antennaweb.org and tvfool.com. By entering an address at these sites the user may determine which stations have the best relative signal strength and thus the best potential for viewing, even with an indoor antenna.

The websites advised that 21 - 23 high-power TV channels were within approximately 40 miles.

The Winegard PureTV Pro 60 antenna found a total ranging from 42 - 65 channels, 20 - 23 of which were classified as having a “strong” signal. The television received 33 watchable channels.

The inexpensive, non-amplified antenna, received only 19 channels.

Winegard manufactures numerous HDTV antennas. Among the indoor models is the Flatwave Amped Pro – Model TH3000. I have confirmed that the Winegard PureTV Pro 60 – Model BBXP60R and the Winegard Flatwave Amped Pro – Model TH3000, are the same, identical antennas. In fact, the bag containing the USB cable and power block is labeled “TH3000”. The only difference between those models is the list price, with the TH3000 being 10% more expensive.

Overall, the Winegard PureTV Pro 60 exceeded expectations. It received 14 more channels than a standard indoor antenna. Thanks to the built-in receiver paired to a smartphone app, the channel scanning process and identification of the optimal mounting location was accomplished in just minutes. The Winegard app clearly needs improvement, but it still served its primary function and made the process of finding the best antenna mounting location very quick and easy. The Winegard Pure TV Pro 60 is an excellent indoor HDTV antenna.

Setup is easy. First, download the Winegard Connected app. This app connects to the antenna amplifier via Bluetooth and utilizes your phone’s GPS to locate broadcast antennas. The app gives three views to help you position the antenna. The first is a summary of total channels available in three categories (strong, moderate and weak signal strength). Next is a map view which shows the location of all broadcast antennas. Finally, there is a channel listing which allows you to fine tune the antenna position to maximize reception for a specific channel. In just a couple of minutes, you should have access to a wide variety of HD stations!

But a word of caution – follow the instructions and you will get much better results!

I live in a high rise on the lakefront in Downtown Chicago, near the buildings which house the broadcast antennas for all local channels. I have to confess that the first time I tried the antenna I did not bother to use the Connected app. I thought I could just attach the antenna to a window with some painter’s tape and that would be sufficient. I ran a channel scan and it showed 36 channels being received. I was impressed, but when I tried to watch the channels some were pixelated and some important local stations were not even on the list. I was frustrated, so I did what I should have done in the first place – I read the instructions and downloaded the Winegard Connected app to my phone.

I did that simple process and repositioned the Winegard Pure TV Pro 60 HDTV antenna in the indicated direction, then ran the channel scan again. Boom! 82 channels showed up this time, including every station that had been missing! I was very impressed.

The Winegard antenna is very well built. It is light in weight and very easy to position. I used some blue painter’s tape (which won’t harm surfaces) to hold the antenna in various locations until I was satisfied with the reception. To permanently mount it you can use the two-sided mounting pads included or just continue to use tape. The connecting cable is very generous – more than 18 feet long – so you have a lot of maneuvering room for locating the antenna.

The power cable to the inline amplifier is long enough to reach the outlet to which the TV is plugged, or you can attach the USB connection on the power cord to a USB outlet on the TV itself.

When you do determine the best location for the antenna be sure to place it as high in the room as possible. This will improve signal reception since the furniture, appliances and power cords (all of which may impair signal conductivity) in your home will all be located below four feet in height.

Overall, I have to say that Winegard has added another fine product to its outstanding collection of antennas. I am happy to give this great device a strong recommendation! Buy it and you will be very happy with its ease of installation and outstanding performance.

GOOD ANTENNA / NOT MAGIC – APP HELPFUL / IMPERFECT

I am an Antenna fan. I have used and deployed antennas of all sorts and usually we always use an antenna for TV unless there was a “free” bundle from the cable company. As soon as they increase the rates we cancel and go back to antenna for a few years.

I have used this style of amplified flat antenna before from other makers with mixed results. The problem is that HD Broadcast frequencies are directional. This is what was interesting about this antenna is that it has a built in signal meter monitored via Bluetooth app on your phone to help you find the perfect location.

Generally, what you need is an unobstructed view (window) facing the direction of your stations. If you have this, then this antenna (WINEGARD PURETV PRO 60) should work well for you. However, if as in my case the stations are “due south” and all your windows are East / West, then you are probably out of luck (in my case South is a brick wall followed by a neighbor’s house and mature trees).

For me the WINEGARD - PURETV PRO 60 antenna itself could not change the laws of physics and bring in stations it could not “see”.

The main advantage was I could use the meter to help get some clues where to at least bring in a few stations, just not enough stations. In my case, the only thing that will work is an outdoor antenna. I was hoping to avoid running more cable to get a signal in my home office room.

No points off for not being magic. It worked well for the few stations I could bring in. It is not the antenna's fault I have no south facing windows. I tried the antenna outdoors, pointing the correct direction and it instantly brought in a ton of stations. I’m not suggesting to use it outdoors, just because of my lack of south windows that was the only way to test it.

SETUP / UNBOXING / ETC

Everything you need is included, and there is a nice long cable (about 15-20ft) to let you try all sorts of locations for optimal signal.

Unfortunately, the included manual (1 page) does nothing to help you learn the fundamentals of where / how to place an antenna or explain the app. Or even simple questions.

The APP is OK, but it could use some improvement. It took a few tries to get the phone paired to the antenna. Also, make sure you SCAN THE ANTENNA CODE ON THE AMPLIFIER, NOT THE MANUAL CODE. I’ve seen reviews where users were trying to scan the code on the instruction page, but you need to use the sticker on the amp unit.

At one point the app stopped communicating with the antenna, I kept getting a message about device failure and to reboot. In the end I had to delete the antenna from the app, reboot everything and start over. I had this happen a few times over the course of my testing.

Again, the App was helpful, but there are some little things that you should be aware of. First it seems to be detecting the more powerful ATSC 3.0 antennas that are not fully operational. When I look at a list of stations most of the ones that are green are in the format wxyz-NG. I assume NG stands for Next Generation (the generic name for 4K broadcast slowly rolling out in the USA), but there no help for what this means, whereas wxyz-DT1 (I assume Digital 1), is RED.

For example, on the summary screen it might show 14 Green Stations, all but a few are nnnn-NG. Thus, my first attempt to place the antenna was flawed due to this and only using the summary page. It would be nice if you could “filter out” ATSC 3.0 signals from the summary page and related counts.

Next, the summary screen is overstating the signal strength by about 20%. It will show 20 green stations and 30 yellow stations. Every green station is still pixelated and Yellows don’t come in at all. If you go to the detailed list and click on that one station for detailed fine tuning. You will find all the “green stations” are now yellow and all the yellow stations are now orange or red. I assume the intent here it to make it look better on the summary page to claim it pulls in more stations than it really does. This is still helpful, but just keep in mind just because you show 20 green stations you still not might have any that are usable.

SUMMARY / RECOMMENDATION

The app is a nice gimmick. It is somewhat functional, and somewhat helpful. This is all much better than yelling to (or at) your spouse to hold it higher or move to the left or whatever. Even so, it is hard to stand on a couch, hold the antenna with one hand, look at the phone on the other hand, then try to glance at the TV once in a while. I ended up taping the antenna to the wall, stepping back taking readings then repeating until I got as much green as I could on the summary page.

I would only recommend this if you already know that you have a clear view to the stations you want to pull in. The WINEGARD - PURETV PRO 60 seems to be a little above others that I have tried and it does bring in a few more stations than I could get with other indoor antennas. Maybe when ATSC 3.0 rolls out, I’ll have better luck with it.

Winegard has been designing OTA antennas since its founding in 1953 when John Winegard invented the first multi-channel, reception antenna. Winegard is acknowledged as the foremost industry and world leader in TV signal reception. So, when I had an opportunity to review this PureTV Pro 60 - Indoor Smart Amplified HDTV Antenna – With Bluetooth Technology Signal Meter in exchange for the product I was excited to experience this new antenna technology. WoW! As a 'cord-cutter' I was absolutely amazed at how accurately this indoor, amplified antenna actually worked. First, I went from 22 OTA channels, which were a combination of good and weak signals, to 25 Strong signals and 4 Moderate for HDTV reception in less then 30 minutes. I picked up seven new stations. WooHoo! Using the Winegard Connected App I was able to locate the placement of this Winegard antenna to receive my optimum TV signal reception, and, fine tune a hard-to-get station using this on-board, Bluetooth Signal Meter.

Indoor antenna placement has always been a mysterious and tedious 'trial-and-error' challenge for me. However, Winegard has hit a home run with this PureTV Pro 60 - Indoor Smart Amplified HDTV Antenna. Out of the box it only took me about ten minutes to set-up the included hardware. After downloading the FREE Winegard Connected App I just followed the simple on-screen instructions to successfully install my antenna. This FREE App is available for downloading from the Google Play Store and, or, at the Apple App Store. The App-integrated signal meter is a 'Gamechanger' for accurate, easy, indoor antenna installations.

Advantages of the Winegard PureTV Pro 60 - Indoor Smart Amplified HDTV Antenna – With Bluetooth Technology Signal Meter:

** UNCOMPLICATED INSTALLATION – The included 'Quick Start Guide' details the steps for setting up the antenna hardware and downloading the Winegard App. The Power Amplifier unit requires a 120V power source, or, it can be plugged into the TV through the included USB cable. It easily paired with my cell after I downloaded the Winegard Connected App and established a FREE Winegard account. I then scanned the QR Code on my Power Amplifier to activate the on screen instructions for antenna set up. There is a flashing Blue LED on the amplifier unit for BT pairing. You can use your GPS location by default to find all the broadcast antennas in your area. You can also enter your street address if you choose. I used my GPS location for greater accuracy. While moving my antenna around for the best signal strength location I used Masking and Painters' tape to temporarily hold the antenna in place (see pics). This flat, two-sided antenna only weighs 7 ounces so, any kind of light-duty tape will hold the antenna in place. I was able to move this antenna around temporarily and also check my cell for the signal strength. This is easily a 'one-man' operation, but two people would probably make the whole process go even faster. The Signal Meter uses both visual and audio indicators. The built-in App-enabled Signal Meter gives me three on-screen views of signal strength; Summary, Map View, and List View (see pics). I used the Summary View indicating signal strength to initially locate my antenna for optimum channel reception. However, I kept the Masking tape on the antenna in case I had to further tweak the antenna placement. I wanted to Fine-Tune a station, which has always been pixelated and hard to receive, but still one of my favorites.

** FINE TUNE HDTV SIGNALS – Once I had my antenna placement optimized for most of my TV stations using the 'Summary View' I began the Fine-Tuning process for one of my preferred, hard-to-receive, stations. This App uses four colors for signal strength; Green for Strong signal, Yellow for Moderate, Orange for Weak, and Red for No signal. I went to the on-screen 'List View', which displays the Network, Signal Strength, Channel, Call Sign, and most importantly, the Fine Tuning Icon (see pics). I located that particular channel in the list and 'clicked' on its Fine Tuning Icon. The information displayed on the next screen was the channel, band, call sign and distance (from the broadcast antenna (see pics). The built-in Signal Meter displayed the Signal-To-Noise-Ratio (SNR) signal value in 'Real Time', which is the actual received signal strength. At first I received a very low number,10 (Red) reception range. I then started to move the antenna around in each direction ever so slowly. After several minutes I found the optimal signal for my station by moving my antenna approximately 12 inches to the right of its original, temporary placement. The real-time SNR on my cell now read 21dBm (see pics) and the signal was in the 'Moderate' (Yellow) reception range. The higher the SNR number the better the reception. I then ran a channel scan on my Smart TV and was super-delighted with the results. The Winegard Fine-Tuning Signal Meter allowed me to finally receive this hard-to-get station, and, without pixelation. YooHoo!

** WINEGARD CONNECTED APP - The on-screen instructions are so helpful, and include suggestions if I need help. Fine-Tuning hard to receive channels in real-time is the most amazing feature of this Winegard App. The App-integrated signal meter is a 'Gamechanger' for accurate, easy, indoor antenna installations.

** INCLUDED IN THE BOX – Winegard Power Amplifier with a USB port for connection to TV for power and, or, a 120V power plug-in adapter. There is a separate USB cable and 18.5 foot mini coaxial cable from the power amplifier to the antenna. The 12 inch by 13 inch flat, multi-directional antenna is two sided. One side is colored white and the other is black to match the painted finishes. Two 3-M Command Adhesive strips are also included for final antenna placement.

** TIPS FOR ANTENNA PLACEMENT – High as possible. Temporarily mount antenna for optimum reception using cellophane tape, painter's tape, or any kind of masking tape. These tapes will NOT harm your wall finishes when removed. Place the antenna in or near a window if possible.

I highly recommend this Winegard PureTV Pro 60 - Indoor Smart Amplified HDTV Antenna – With Bluetooth Technology Signal Meter. It is so user-friendly to set up and gives outstanding results for indoor HDTV reception. This unit is in my Living Room, and I am purchasing another for my Master Bedroom. This Winegard OTA antenna technology will make 'cord-cutting' so easy and practical. Winegard' competition has a lot of catching up to do.

First of all, I have been using a different name brand antenna for my over-the-air (OTA) TV watching for several years now and the difference is night and day!

The antenna is packaged in fully recyclable materials, kudos for that!

The exterior of the packaging claims installation is as easy as 1-2-3.

Well, let me tell you, it actually is.

I downloaded the app, connected the coaxial cable to my TV and even before I ran the channel scan, I started getting TV channels!

After connecting the antenna to the TV, I used the app to determine the best position (I used a piece of tape for temporary hold) and after running the channel scan, I found I could receive 200+ channels!

I love the signal meter! It makes it easy to determine optimal antenna placement.

Some channels that were more distant ( I assume) pixelated a bit at times, but the rest came in strong and clear.

Everything I needed was included in the box, even the coaxial cable, power adapter and 3M(TM) Command brand strips to fix it to the wall.

The antenna is 2-sided, one black, one white to match most decors.

It even receives 4K transmissions that look amazing in my 4K TV.

I couldn't be happier with the quality of the video.

I had thought it was impossible in my area and I have been paying satellite and cable companies forever since I wasn't satisfied with the quality of any of my prior attempts to get OTA TV.

Highly recommended!

This smart antennae works quite well, but the app sometimes experiences trouble connecting to it. Overall, the antennae is simple to hook up, and the coax cable was more than long enough for me to test signal reception at various places around the room. As far as size goes, the antennae is a bit thicker than high quality printer paper, and it's footprint is about 50% larger than the same printer paper, so it's not overly noticeable. Installing the app was simple, but I have had some trouble connecting the app to the antennae. I originally tried to power the antennae using the USB port on my TV, but when I tired this, the connection process on the app always failed. Using the USB wall power adapter fixed this problem for the most part, but I still have to occasionally cut the power to the antennae and then reconnect it if I want to get the app to connect. Once connected, the app does a good job of showing signal strengths of the various stations it finds, as well as showing the mapped location of each station along with a listing of station info (network, call sign, and channel), so it's fairly easy to find a location for the antennae that will give you the best reception. One additional feature of the app that I found useful was the ability to fine tune a single station.

Overall, I think this antennae is a winner; it allows me to watch 23 stations, most of which are around 50 miles away, and I'm in a fairly rural mountainous area.

If I were only rating the antenna, it would easily be four, maybe even five stars. The antenna works amazingly, I've gone from getting about half a dozen channels to getting 48. The design is very unobtrusive and is easy to position without drawing attention to itself. And, it does deliver the promised HD quality.

Where this product falls short is the "easy to use app". It took several attempts to get the app to connect to the antenna and the app really did nothing to help after it was connected. No matter how I moved the antenna, it told me the exact same strength on all channels. When I tried doing it the "old fashioned way" of traying a position and running a channel scan on the TV, I was able to get another nearly 10 channels over what I got from the app. Yes, it took a lot longer, but the results speak for themselves.

Ultimately, I would recommend it to someone looking for a good quality antenna, but be ready to have to position the antenna the old fashioned way without the help of the app.

It seems like every day, the cable or satellite companies lose channels due to financial disputes with the owners. More people are using services to stream shows now as a result. But not all of those offer local channels, or they charge extra for them, or maybe your Wifi isn’t the best and streaming is still a pain in buffering. In comes a TV antenna. There are literally tons of antennas for sale right now. You can still get the larger, bulkier, outdoor ones, but newer generations offer much smaller devices you can put inside your home on the wall or window and get a respectable amount of channels for free. The Winegard Pure TV Pro-60 antenna (made in the USA!) is one such device, with one feature that separates it from the others, which I’ll talk about in a moment.

When you take the Winegard out of the box, it looks exactly like many others – It’s a nearly paper thin, floppy square material that’s roughly 12 by 13 inches in size, that you stick on a wall or window using tape or the included 3m sticky stuff. It’s white on one side and black on the other to help match walls and décor. On the bottom of this “pad”, is a thin, white, coax cable that’s just over 18 feet in length; this also plugs into the back of your TV in the antenna port. A small white box is attached to this cable, and it’s a power booster (which helps boost the signal pick up to around 60 miles in some locations) and Bluetooth connect for that extra feature I mentioned. You use an included USB-to-mini USB cable (yes, I said mini-USB, as in, from like over a decade ago!) to connect to that power box, and you either plug the USB side into your TV if it has a powered USB port, or use the included A/C adapter to plug it into a wall outlet. Use some house tape at first to tape the pad to a wall or window temporarily, and you’re ready to start.

Next, you download the Winegard app from the Apple or Android store, create an account, and grant access to certain location services. You can a QR code on the antenna’s power box to register the device, and once finished and confirmed, it will have connected the app to your phone via Bluetooth (make sure it’s on!). It will then tell you the signal strength of where you placed your antenna, and how many channels you should get at that location with a strong, medium, or poor connection. It keeps renewing this scan every minute so you can move the antenna around to see how the numbers change. Even a few inches can make a difference. Initially, it said I had 48 “good” signal channels, but just moving it a few inches toward the door increased the number to 57 channels and an additional 34 in a moderate signal range. Keep in mind, I’m roughly 25 miles outside of Atlanta – the number of channels you will or will not be able to get will vary on where you live, the geography, miles to TV towers, etc.

From there, you go into your TV’s menu, let it do a channel scan for the antenna (varies per TV model) and you should be ready to go. I did indeed get around 57 good channels – most came in very good, even the lower resolution broadcast ones. A few came in very good at a sharp 1080p, and a handful actually came in at or near 4K quality. The moderate signal ones varied from ok to so-so. It’s possible for a few to actually look BETTER than they do on satellite or cable, because there is no middle man to compress them when sent to your home – you’re getting direct signals from the towers. Now, I get all of my local channels, and a few others of interest – old movie channels, free movie channels, etc. There’s a lot of religious channels and a few Latino channels as well. If you want to record these, there are over-the-air recording devices you can buy that will let you do this. Otherwise, you watch live.

So, the Winegard Pure TV Pro-60 antenna does cost a little more than other very similar antennas at around $90, but, you do get that extra Bluetooth app placement feature that to my knowledge, few if any have right now. I do think the app helps you find the best place to put this and saves you a TON of time not having to scan, re-scan, and re-scan channels again each time you move it around on your own. As always, look for it to go on sale, too. I’ve giving it 5 stars because it really does pull in some channels at 1080p to 4k that other antennas haven’t been able to do, due to this extra app/feature.

So, there’s a ton of decisions to make if you really want to “cut the cord” and ditch your satellite or cable company, and you have to make some smart decisions regarding which streaming devices you’ll use, how much data your home internet service gives you per month to do it, if your wifi is fast enough, etc. But at least with the Winegard, you can hopefully in your area, stream local stations and perhaps more, clearly, and without having to even worry about wifi or data use for those channels at least. Worth a try!
