Surprisingly As Good As The Latest Phones On the M

Purchased this phone for my son who I feel isn't old enough to know the value of a very pricey phone just yet. I thought this phone would just be ok, which was fine by me because it was just going to be used for a few games and some youtube. This phone is more than just ok! It exceeded my expectations. It runs super fast! He has more than 60 games downloaded and still has room for much more! Its a really good quality phone in every way. Like I myself would even consider this phone if something were to happen to mine. Because its actually not too different from an expensive phone and thats fact. Its not too different from the latest galaxy and not too different from the latest iphone.

    Just right for its price.

I used the phone for mobile games, sometimes it’s not working so well.

Good for almost everything you need.

Good phone. Just use it with wifi, might eventually get a temporary plan. It's a bit laggy with games, but with social media like TikTok and Snapchat it's fine. Camera's actually not terrible, which is a good bonus.

Good service on a phone purchase

Pricing was the motivation to buy this particular item for me at the time was a good buy, considering. At the time of purchase LG had not yet made their announcement regarding cell phones . LG always worked for me sorry to see them go. Good phone great purchase regardless.

    OK but oversized.

This Galaxy is OK and useful for a second phone line. However the extra length over Samsung's earlier models does not add anything and causes the purchase of a larger belt holster and case, plus makes it more awkward to handle.

    Its ok

Phone is nice definitely worth what you pay. I wouldn't order a phone case until you get it in the mail because they sent an A02s instead of A02 so now I have to return the case I ordered & get the one that fits. I noticed in other site reviews that this has happened to others so just be cautious. Phone is big with the 6.5" screen & i'm not sure if I like it or not because it does hurt your hands to hold.

    A more modern phone!

I needed something for my mom to use as her decade(s?) old flip phone finally bit the dust. She hates change. I wasn’t sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised with the phone. She loves it and loves the storage. Loves how much easier it is to text too!

She even belonged out the phone with a sparkly case! She is now a styling 75 yr old!

    Design of Cords Changes

Like the phone but it is a basic model. I needed a phone in a hurry and this fit. Otherwise, I would not have chosen this model because the design of cords makes all my cords obsolete. I am starting to think the Samsung phones are delicate.

    Motorola 'Moto' E phone

Required to replace my flip phone (boo) as I really only have a cell for emergency use while away from home or to call while out..period. But, progress moves forward, did some researrch and found the Moto phnes most user friendly for those of us who really have a life beyonf phones. I never take a phone in with me to meet friends...I like live! But this phone is super easy to use, has provided some features that I really enjoy, the goole assistant especially. Sooo If you want an affordable phone that works well and easy, this iis it. By the way, I still use it as a tracfone, but with a year plan, you only have to bye data when needed, you have unlimited text and talk. Who could ask for anything more!

Good phone, Thank you Best Buy!

Tracfone notified me I had to change phones, so I chose this one, Ordering from BestBuy.com was easy, I received confirmation and was informed all along. I picked it up from a local BestBuy, and your rep Taylor promptly and efficiently helped me. Thank you Taylor!

Once I got the phone, I was very concerned on activating it and transferring my unused minutes and service date (in the past, I had a HUGE problem doing so, Tracfone took months to correct it). To my surprise, this time, all went well! such a relief! in a matter of 3 hours I had all transferred and my new phone working!

Exactly what I was looking for..

I purchased this device for my teenage child and they love it. The basic plan for TracFone is exactly what a high school age kid needs to stay in touch with the 'rents. The Moto phones,in my experience, have great features and exceptional battery life when you use the included Turbo power charger. Exactly what we needed at a great price. Plus, the sales associate assured me that if everything was not what I was expecting that I could return it within 7 days! We're going to be keeping it.

NEW A11 Samsung vs OLD J7 Samsung

I remained using a Samsung Android because the newer model I bought was close to the previous cell phone I had. Thus model A11 has more storage than my other phone. I am fine with the pre-paid TracFone no contract plan. I am still trying to figure out how to use my new phone. The previous phone J7 was much easier for me; I'm not very tech savvy. I still need to link it to my SUV so I can accept/make calls when necessary while on the road.

One thing I don't like is that both the volume control and power on/off button are on the same side, and sometimes I accidentally shut my phone off.

    Samsung Galaxy A11 is okay

I do really like my new Samsung Galaxy A11, but have only one complaint. There is no way to change the appearance of the calendar to show a week only. Instead, you either have only the selection of viewing it by months or the whole year. At least my old Samsung Galaxy A7 had that feature.

I needed a GSM phone and this was what they had. I prefer LG, but this is doing the job. It seems to be a good phone, but it takes a long time to boot up! Photo quality is WAY below what I expected for 3 lenses! I'm still adapting to Samsung and it's quirks so I won't bash it.

I like Samsung products. Only thing with Samsung and Android the updates are not as often as I would like them. Of course Apple does a better job getting a person updates.

    Good phone.

I was there to purchase a cell phone. The first sales person that I encountered was not interested in providing service, she pointed to where they were located and did not try to provide help. Then a very capable salesperson came and provide immediate help and support. He was very knowledgeable and helpful-kudos to him. The next person who provide support was one of the managers. This person was wonderful, she provided top notch technical support. She was helpful, friendly, and tech savvy. She is an excellent example of a top notch manager!!

I'm very satisfied with my new Jitterbug Lively Smart phone. It's so much easier to use than my last phone; and the fact that it comes with a nice compact instruction booklet that shows you step-by-step how to do things is the best. I was never the type to keep my cell phone on all the time, but I do this one, I even have a daily alarm scheduled to ring each morning Just in case my internal alarm clock doesn't wake me up. It has a nice soft ring that doesn't jolt you out of your chair or bed. All around a pleasure to have, Thanks Jitterbug for making a phone with the older generation in mind.

This phone was for my father who is 93. He absolutely loves it. He has arthritis and it is hard for him to navigate the small buttons on most phones. Close but 'no' cigar.

A good phone but small tweeks could make it better. Text message corrections and the send button can be too close together at times. There needs to be more space between the two. It would be nice to have the option of smaller icons. I am a young senior so it would be nice to have this option.

Basic and functional, with a few annoying features

This is a decent quality phone for someone looking to make calls and send basic texts.

I have been a dedicated flip phone user my whole life, but, given the cancellation of 1G-3G networks, had to upgrade my 1G flip phone to something 4G. Interestingly, I learned that, while this phone texts over 4G/LTE networks, it still makes calls on 3G. You can change this by going into settings and turning on VoLTE (Voice over LTE), which will change the calling network to LTE. This may be critical when all the 3G networks are shut down (in Feb. 2022?) but currently has not made a big difference for me.

Be aware that this phone only works with networks that use SIM cards (i.e. not Verizon). I switched to Cricket when I got this phone, and it's been working fine.

    Pros:

    - Good sound quality (even speaker phone is okay)

    - Head phone jack is nice and works well

    - Good screen size and visibility

    - Texts are shown as a messaging dialogue rather than individual messages (which is what my very old phone did)

    - Camera is okay? Better than my last phone, but that's not saying much

    Cons:

    - The whole unit is fairly lightweight. Some people may love this; I feel that it indicates cheaper, less sturdy quality. I haven't had it long enough to assess durability

    - Number pad is a little small, but manageable

    - It does not have a simple way of capitalizing a word in the middle of a sentence (or at the beginning of a new one) while using the predictive text. Obviously, this can be dealt with, but it's annoying.

    - The apps it comes with are not deletable.

    - My biggest complaint is that there are many features that are difficult to find, not intuitive, and not in the instruction guide. Examples:

    - Voicemail. You have to press and hold "1" while on the home screen.

    - Turn on T9/predictive text. Go to "Settings," click the left button for more settings, then scroll down to "Predictive Text."

    - Volume. Same process as predictive text. But if you want to turn it to vibrate, "Settings" > "Personalization" > "Sounds."

    - Search among contacts (rather than just scrolling down). Press the # key when you're in your contacts.

    - When you turn on "VoLTE," it changes the timestamp on all of your incoming texts (for me it was three hours ahead of Eastern time, but this might change based on time zone?). This is frustrating because all your outgoing texts are timestamped with your correct time. So your message dialogue is organized with all of the incoming texts before the outgoing. Very awkward. I haven't found a workaround other than turning off VoLTE until I need it.

Overall, I like the phone. It's basic and easy and functional. I haven't used many of the other features (radio, music, internet connectivity, apps) and probably won't, so I cannot attest to their quality or ease of use. The snake game is an entertaining throw-back to the 90s Microsoft game, but it's just annoying enough to try to play on the phone that I won't get too distracted by it. So, yay?

One more note. Best Buy charges a $45 restocking fee on phones once the box is opened. But they also provide the IMEI number (your phone's identity ID) on the order slip (at least when I ordered for in-store pickup). They call it the "HW ID." Most phone service providers have a way to enter the IMEI in their site to see if the phone will be compatible. So you can do that without opening the box, saving you a $45 fee if your provider tells you they won't accept the phone.

    Good Non-Smart Phone

Had to get a GSM phone due to CDMA phase out. This was relatively inexpensive, and does talk and text well (it can also do data, but I didn't need data).

Built in Apps can't be deleted, but can be re-arranged. I put the ones I use (talk, text, calendar, etc.) on the home screen, and moved the junk ones (games, Facebook, etc.) to screen three, where I never see them.

Date displays in international format (day, month, year) instead of US format (month, day, year), and can't be changed.

Time stamp on incoming texts is off by one hour, and my be a carrier issue.

    great basic phone

so far so good, great vacation from the smart phone! small, light, makes and receives calls and text messages. it's not a full keyboard so you don't get sucked into constant texting.

    Meets minimal needs

If you just need a simple phone without the need for all of the bells and whistles, this works. It uses old-style texting, I have not gotten the internet to work yet, and the screen is not a touch screen as indicated in the specs, but calling works and the blue tooth works. I got it as a backup because of how frequently I manage to break my smartphones, but as soon as I can manage to get another smart phone this will go into the drawer until the next time I break my phone.

    Poor performing phone and store.

Be aware that if you buy this phone and try to return it best buy will charge you $45 to return it. They mine as well say no returns. Online site said restocking fee of up to $45. They should get rid of the term up to. Phone was not strong enough to reach the tower even with 4 bars. Would not recommend this phone or best buy. They lost my business for life.

    Total wireless phone and service

I have used total wireless in the past with few hiccups easily resolved by calling customer service. This time was a fiasco! Not to mention having to wait 24 hours with no service to find out that they had the “wrong” digit in the IMEI inputted. I am not sure why that would take 24 hours to activate service, when a simple number change in the nearly two hours spent on the phone should have been ample time to get it up and running. Thankfully, I have the previous positive experiences to outweigh this terrible experience, otherwise they would have lost my business all together.

However I bought the phone under the impression that it had nfc which it does not, so I was disappointed to find that out after purchasing it. I have has several issues with my cafrier service since purchasing this phone but it has to do with the carrier not samsung.

    Great price and phone

I needed an immediate phone replacement because I accidentally dropped my phone and the screen cracked. Thought of getting a screen replacement but realized that it’s more cost-effective to buy a new one instead. My budget was $150-200. Came across the Fashion C phone from CellAllure and what I like about it specifically aside from the big screen is the battery capacity at 3180 mAh plus it is easy to use. Got my order fast as well so that’s A plus.

Got this phone when my old one died and had to wait on a new phone in the mail. Put my t mobile sim card in & it worked right away, no activation or anything.

Has FB, WhatsApp, & Google Maps installed. Works for both sizes of sim card.

Biggest issue is you can't reply to group text messages. You'll have to use WhatsApp for any group messages. Doesn't pick up 4G or 5G so service can be spotty.

It's a good phone for someone intimidated by smart

This is a basic phone that is simple to use. I purchased it for my senior mother who does not know how to operate a smart phone. This phone has WhatsApp installed so my mother can call her granddaughter who is going to school in London without having to pay $3 a minute. Another good feature is this phone can block numbers unlike the Alcatel phone she had previously. So many scam calls on T-Mobile so the block numbers feature is great to have. Not a very sturdy phone, but affordable and has useful features.

The Nokia phone is ok to use, but the screen is very flimsy and easily broken. I barely used the phone and usually put it in the front pocket of my bag. In less than 2 months, I found the screen has a tiny crack and grayed out, which makes it unusable. Very disappointed.
