Enjoy bold sound when you listen to music, watch movies or play games with this speaker system that features 2 satellite speakers with 2.5" front-firing, sealed drivers and a 7" bass-reflex subwoofer. Integrated controls let you customize your audio.
I got this system for my Tv / Blu Ray player at my office.
I have a 24 inch Insignia LED 1080P Model: NS-24E400NA14
and Blu Ray player.
I use the TV for watching movies. I hooked up the 2.1 speaker system to the blu ray player RCA input and out put. red / white. Had to buy cables. It did come with the head phone / jack cable. But I wanted the truest and best sound so I used the RCA cables.
Let me tell you this thing ROCKS!, I have the volume on the speakers at about 1/2 way and the sub woofer at about 3/4 .. OMG you can feel the bass..I watched Olympus has Fallen over the weekend... amazing sound from the speakers. You would have thought I have a 500-1,000dollar home theater system. Not a 107 dollars 2.1 computer speaker system.Aug 16, 2013 16:32
These speakers are really nice especially for the price. I had a cheap $20 set of logitech speakers that lasted me 7 years that finally gave out today. So I went and picked this up. Wow. These speakers are impressive! The bass is awesome and you can adjust it to your liking. The speakers can get veryyy loud and at first it may feel like the mids and highs are lackluster but they are very pure. You can hear so many different things going on and the sound is very crisp. Even on max volume there is no distortion just the sound being amplified. Definitely recommend.Mar 31, 2021 18:47
I’m so pleased with these speakers. These are my first high quality speakers and I’m so impressed with the sound quality overall. Setting them up was a little stressful due to my inexperience with speakers of any kind and the smallish setup of my desk but it all came together in the end and I couldn’t be happier. In the past I’ve used my laptop’s speakers to monitor my sound levels on my video projects and this isn’t such a huge upgrade. I also got them on sale, which is a huge plus.Jun 02, 2019 19:01
A quality speaker system for one of our PC's with lots of bass and volume control with great sound quality that fills the entire work area. Cheaper systems don't compare. It was well worth the money.Mar 26, 2021 16:22
Was recommended these speakers by a musician friend. I was aiming to stay as close to $100 as possible and only paid $107 for these after tax. The highs are incredibly clear. The sub provides incredible bass that when bumped with "Bury a Friend" (Billie Eilish) shook my entire room. Super happy with them and they way the seamlessly worked into my setup running off the MacBook Pro 2019.Apr 30, 2021 18:00
These speakers are fantastic. Especially for the price.Jul 17, 2021 10:39
Very powerful! I would gladly put the Z623 up against any 2.1 system of double the cost and listen to the Logitech embarrass its competitor. Having the Z623 at your desk is like driving a sports car, you just cant wait to open it up! I assure, you WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!Mar 19, 2017 23:46
Wanted them for a long time beautiful sound system 110% buy. Gnarly bassJan 28, 2021 23:22
Enhance your computer audio with this 2.1-channel Logitech speaker system. Its THX Certification ensures that the subwoofer and two satellite units provide sonic accuracy for high-quality gaming, music and movie audio experiences. This 200W Logitech speaker system has optical, RCA and 3.5mm inputs for versatile connectivity with your media devices.
They literally sent me a pressure cooker instead. LOL. Quality 1 because this does not let me play my music. Value 5 because I got a pressure cooker. Ease of use 1 because I can't connect it to my computer.Mar 05, 2021 21:08
I bought this speaker system for my sons vinyl player. The installation was very easy, literally plug and play. The sound is very full rich and the bass is phenomenal. You will absolutely love this speaker system.
The only thing is that the edges are sharp so my son put tape around it.Mar 07, 2019 16:41
I love this system! It sounds great! It is a great added appliance to my home and computer setup!Mar 19, 2021 16:06
I’ve had a set of Z625 speakers for over 7 years now and they always sounded amazing, but they where starting to look a little worn (I get a little to picky about that sometimes). So I decided to buy some new speakers, and just went with the Z625 model to get the optical input option. Plus BestBuy had it on sale for almost the same price as the Z623 model, so that made it a very easy decision. It can be very subjective when listening to music and playing video games, but with both optical cable and the analog cable connected to my PC sound PCIe card, the optical sound is noticeably improved over the analog sound. So a little food for though if your choosing between the Z625 and the Z623 models.Oct 13, 2021 13:47
I have this system hooked up to my computer and boy do they make all my different music playlists sound great. The bass on the sub woofer is lit.Oct 14, 2020 09:12
This is optimum when you connect the optical cable to your PC with a really impressive HD quality sound at 440 watts. This unit is a great deal, Logitech high quality as well!Nov 15, 2020 13:43
I do love everything about this speakers. It blow me away with deep bass...wow. I would recommend it to everyone who's play game or like to listen the song with booming bass.Apr 25, 2020 11:06
These are hands down the best sound system for a computer i've owned. Awesome price and that sub hits hard. Shakes my house and my pictures. If you are thinking of buying stop thinking and get it!Oct 28, 2021 17:56
Plug these Logitech z533 980-001053 multimedia speakers into your computer or gaming console and enjoy rich, powerful audio for your games, movies and music. The included front-facing subwoofer fills out the sound with deep bass.
I love this computer speakers. they are loud and sound awesome. they are great to hear music, and my while gaming the sounds are awesome. i highly recommend these speakers.Oct 22, 2021 22:17
Bought these to replace a pair of Bose speakers I was using for my laptop. However I have used them instead for a digital DJ Mixer (Denon M7000) in my office. VERY impressive. Sound quality is top-notched and volume will blow you out. For less than $90, these can't be beat.Aug 19, 2017 14:42
ITEM JUST AS DESCRIBED.PERFECT TRANSACTION. Works Great. Just Love it.Jan 22, 2021 19:56
Great system! I suggest connecting via Toslink for better sound output.Jul 09, 2021 16:31
Crisp, clear sound with booming bass. Nice large rotating knob to control volume and bass. Excellent build quality.Sep 10, 2021 16:15
These speakers have fantastic sound. They have a rich warm tone. They have great mids, bass, and good highs. The treble could use a tad more sparkle which can be tweaked with a software equalizer. I used these to replace a 15 year old 5.1 surround system. I was looking for big sound with a smaller footprint in my 12 by 12 foot office.
I would have given these speakers 5 stars for their impressive sound. However, there was one disappointment. The power/volume knob is hard wired to the sub which does not allow putting the sub under my desk and threading the volume knob through the desktop port whole for cable management.
So, I was able to put the left and right speakers on my desktop and run the wires through the desk port whole to the sub on the floor under my desk. But I have to reach under my desk to control the knob. The knob on my old 5.1 system had a detachable plug to the sub that could be threaded to the desktop. If this system had that feature it would be a 5 star.Jun 18, 2020 10:42
The unit came well packed and in good condition. It was easy to set up and connect to my computer and has a very well balanced sound. The hand volume/tone control is convenient to use but the rotary tone control could use a little more resistance to moving after it is adjusted. The small speakers have no protection on the front of each small cabinet and are subject to damage if one is not careful.Feb 08, 2021 15:49
I picked this up specifically for use with StepManiaX, an arcade rhythm game that is available for home use. Because the game comes built into a touchscreen monitor, it's basically an all-in-one PC/monitor solution so I went with these Logitech Z533 PC speakers rather than a TV soundbar like I was originally going to. Anyway, these speakers sound incredible and once I turn the bass up on the subwoofer, oh...my...GOODNESS. It feels like I'm standing in the arcade, no joke. If you're looking for some amazing sounding speakers for DDR, Stepmania, or any other home rhythm game setup, do yourself a favor and grab these! One final thing I love is that the subwoofer is not wireless, that helps to reduce latency which always matters when playing rhythm games.Mar 28, 2021 18:05
Get clear, high-quality audio with these Edifier Bluetooth bookshelf speakers. The RCA, coaxial and optical inputs provide flexible connectivity options, while the 8-inch subwoofer delivers powerful bass performance. These 2.1-channel Edifier Bluetooth bookshelf speakers feature 0.75-inch titanium dome tweeters for crisp highs, and the side panel controls offer simple operation.
I've had these speakers for a little over three weeks and have been very impressed in that short time frame. Since working from home I've been able to use a small Bluetooth speaker in our home office but wanted a better setup, that led to the decision to upgrade to the Edifier speaker system listed above.
Upon receipt the item was packaged by very safely and no damage was noticed. The build quality was evident from the get-go as they have a nice weight to them. After unboxing and connecting everything it was time to test out the quality.
First impression was amazing, the two titanium-dome speakers give clean high's and mid's and the included wires give ample room to spread out for the desired range or room setting. The bass really drives home the full sound, the 8-inch subwoofer gives a powerful bottom to all of my favorite songs and adds an whole new level to the sound quality. The final point that really stands out to me is the included remote. You're able to adjust volume and even skip songs on the original device directly through the speakers, not a necessity by any stretch but a great bonus feature.
At this point I have not noticed any downsides to the speakers. My neighbors may disagree but for the price these really can't be matched. Great quality and a very clean look!Jul 18, 2020 16:46
This speaker system packs a lot of punch for the money. They are small, elegant, and put out amazing sound. They hooked up to my phone right away. I was also able to hook them up to my record player and even my receiver. Unfortunately, I don’t have the right inputs to hook it up to my TV, directly. But, I’m investigating. You really can’t be the price for the quality of these speakers.
Fantastic sound quality.
Can’t beat the price.
Small Sub makes it easy to conceal.
Look and feel like more expensive speakers.
The packaging was very well done, meticulous, and secure.
Hard to read the dials.
Would like to have them work with my TV...working on that.Jul 06, 2020 15:06
Super easy setup out of the box, I only wish the optical cable was longer. I had to change the side I wanted the subwoofer on because the cord was too short. I've been thinking about getting a soundbar for my TV but now I'm going to use this instead! And it's great because at any time I can chang the input and use it as a bluetooth speaker with any device I want or change to one of the other inputs.Jul 05, 2020 19:59
These speakers have amazing sound. It's hard to find a song that doesn't sound good on these. The setup was easy. Took a few minutes and i was ready to listen. The remote took a little time to get used to but not an issue. The rich sound makes up for everything. I would highly recommend to someone.Jul 08, 2020 09:31
I am immediately really impressed by these speakers. To my pleasant surprise, they are far more quality and substantial than I anticipated.
They could not have been more simple to set up from both a physical hardware and Bluetooth standpoint. To top it off, the base and sound quality is great! We bought for our basement but are now thinking we should be using them on the main floor because they are better than our current set up! Really slick looking, too!Jul 05, 2020 18:35
Bought these speakers a month ago and have gotten some pretty good use out of them. They are loud and the sound quality is awesome. They’re Bluetooth and come with a remote which is nice.Aug 13, 2020 09:48
These are replacing my 10+ year old Klipsch Pro Media 2.1's. Sadly they bit the dust and it seems Best Buy no longer carries them. I was disappointed to see they were no longer in stock. There just isn't much else in that $150 price range that matches what those speakers could do.
After much youtubing and redditing I landed on these and I am not disappointed.
I am not a hardcore audiophile, but I can appreciate good sound and know what I like. These fit the bill and sound more like something in the $500 price range.
The first thing I noticed is that these are HEAVY. The build quality seems to be top notch. Only time will tell how they hold up, but I can see these outlasting my old Pro Medias.
Sound quality is amazing as you may have gathered. I am hearing sounds that I didn't get from the Klipschs. Honestly that is saying a lot as they were no slouch. I never felt a need to replace those. The highs and mids are excellent and the bass hits appropriately. Some EQ tweaking may be required, but is mostly personal preference.
Set up is easy. Inputs, including Bluetooth are a welcome option that I didn't have before. Obviously not as modular as a passive set-up with an dedicated amp, but its very good for what it offers and cuts down on bulk and cables.
I would highly recommend this for a pc set up. Skip the fancy gaming/RGB set ups. This is better. Embrace it!
This is also a great option for a living room TV set up if you don't want to go full surround, but want better than a sound bar or tv speakers. It has an optical cable and will work by default with any modern TV right out of the box.
I noticed a lot of people online wondering how these are against the Klipsch Pro-Media. As a 10+ year user of those speakers, I can say these are truly better. And they should be at twice the cost. Are they twice as good? No. Price to performance, the pro medias are still king. But if you can foot the extra cost, you will get better sound, quality build and slightly more modularity. I fully expect these to last as long or longer than Klipschs.
Thank you Edifier for making such a great product at a reasonable price.Oct 24, 2020 17:26
I Really like this set up. Both speakers sound really nice and the subwoofer hits hard with deep bass. Problem is the subwoofer is already blown, and i dont see how because i just got the set up in august and im hardly home to use them. so i hope the manufacturer warranty will take care of this problem so i dont have to replace it myself. Would have gave it a 5 star but considering my issue.Nov 07, 2021 16:30

Good clear bass from a small speaker. Easy to connect and use.Oct 29, 2021 16:11
Great sub woofer. The perfect foundation to my surround system.Oct 07, 2021 18:15
I recently added this subwoofer to my theater sound system. I now have two subs. I bought this because of my previous experience with Definitive. I did not listen to it before I bought. I pulled the trigger quickly because Amazon had it on sale for about 50% off and Best Buy price matches. Normally I would go into a store and listen (feel). Anyway, glad I pulled the trigger. This thumps! It is not as hard hitting as my JBL L8400p, but at 50% of the cost before the extra 50% I got off, I wouldn't expect it to. More "boomy" than the JBL so it compliments the other sub well. I'm extremely happy with this purchase.Jan 24, 2020 16:01
This DefTech ProSub 800 is a good subwoofer although it did not fit my application. I wanted an 8" sub that would be used in the LR to fill in the bottom end to my ceiling speakers. This is not a HT room and is mostly used for listening to music while entertaining or working around the house. In order to really get the bottom end, I had to turn up the volume and the sub bounced across my wood floor. Don't get me wrong, this sub is really great musically...it just did not give me what I was looking for.Jun 19, 2016 19:42
Very happy with this purchase. Nice tight bass.Got a great deal $100 off retail. Would highly recommend this sub.Apr 24, 2021 07:53
I returned this subwoofer because I wanted a different setup. This sub was excellent with great low end reach while I had it integrated into my system.Mar 05, 2021 16:46
Took some adjusting and settings to get it work well with my other sub but after a few days I really started to love the sub. Does not work well on a hardwood flooring without it sitting on some carpet. The passive bottom firing radiator will make the sub dance all over easily. Especially with scenes in the movie "Interstellar" Its well built and I kinda like the side mounted volume control but I think it would be better if it was top mounted. Its exceptional tighter than my 10" ported sub its paired with when it comes to lower end bassMay 16, 2015 12:37
I have an old 7 channel speaker set and the subwoofer just died. The challenge that I had was to find something that fit in the limited space we had as the old one was fairly small. This unit was perfectly sized and reasonably priced so it fit my immediate requirements.
Once I got it home and connected, I was just blown away. The bass is rich and deep for music and absolutely explosive for movies.
Our old unit sounded ok but tended to rattle things a bit so it could sound messy at higher volumes.
This new unit is just smooth and sounds amazing.
I highly recommend this unit.Jul 23, 2021 16:11
With 360° sound, this Logitech Z323 980-000354 speaker system delivers crisp, rich audio evenly in all directions to ensure a high-quality listening experience. The included subwoofer provides deep, thunderous lows.
I've always been a fan of Logitech video and audio equipment. I currently own a Logitech webcam for Internet streaming and the Logitech z323 is well work the 49.99 price tag! The audio is crisp and the bass goes hard even when only dialed to the halfway point. I had to lower from the halfway point so not to disturb the neighbors. lol.
Years ago, I purchased a similar system, of course a much older design for 10.00 dollars more than what I paid for the newer model. I loved the sound quality of the older model, also so buying the newer model with the sleek design of the front speakers, at a lower price was a no brainer!
I have my Logitech speaker connected to my gaming desktop and big screen TV and can switch between both devices flawlessly using the TV input controls on my remote.
Again, well worth the $49.99 price tag, which I think is very reasonable.Nov 04, 2020 03:33
I bought this system to upgrade it it from the same earlier model of ten years ago. It suits my needs to a "T".Jun 08, 2018 20:25
From the reviews I read on Google, Best Buy, Amazon, and anywhere else I could find reviews, I knew these were the speakers I was going to get. One thing that I could not figure out was if it had an Auxiliary port. I bought them anyway. Glad I did. Ladies and Gentlemen, this set of speakers is perfect for just about everything. It does have volume control, subwoofer control on back of subwoofer, and it does have a headphone jack and an Auxiliary jack. It has a good subwoofer, and it has great volume while always clear. It also has great sound with all types of music. I know because I listen to everything. Very satisfied with my decision and purchase.Jun 12, 2015 19:29
First off this is a 3 speaker system. 2 satellite speakers and a sub box. Everything is small. The quality of sound is great though. I like the fact that you can turn the bass up and down....knob on the sub box. Got it in sale for $49.99. Can't beat this deal...for the quality of sound and price anywhere. I tried.Mar 19, 2015 15:52
I love these speakers. I bought them years ago and they work just as well as the day I bought them. Loud, warm sounds and a powerful subwoofer. I always think about upgrading to a more expensive setup but I can't imagine how to get a better experience than what these offer. Awesome value.Apr 11, 2021 18:23
Was looking for lower priced desktop speaker system that would sound good, and these fit the bill. A key advantage is the sub has a volume control, and has 2 inputs (one mini jack, one pair of RCA L/R inputs).Jan 16, 2021 21:37
This little speaker system is very compact but has a great sound! Great price too. I would recommend to anyone that is not a picky person.Apr 11, 2020 15:09
They sound amazing and are great for the price. No complaintsMar 20, 2021 01:53
Turn up the intensity during gaming sessions with these Logitech LIGHTSYNC gaming speakers. An RGB lighting sequence driven by your games makes play more exciting, while integrated DTS:X Ultra surround sound creates detailed, powerful audio for a more immersive experience. Bluetooth pairing buttons and volume controls allow for effortless operation. Featuring a LIGHTSYNC screen sampler, these Logitech LIGHTSYNC gaming speakers let you build your own custom light show.
These are amazing. They sound really good and the led effects are super cool. The Logitech software that runs it is a little quirky and has a bit of a learning curve tbh....this con is not enough to dock a star imo. Setting the screen areas for light duplication is pretty easy at least. I have always enjoyed Logitech products but this is the first time i paid this much and it was worth it. FYI...like other reviewers have stated the virtual surround sound ain't great. It's a 2.1 system...it's not gonna sound like 5.1, 7.1 or 10.1 ever.Jun 05, 2021 12:50
I recommend these speakers. They have an awesome sound and used with a gaming computer it puts you right in the middle of a very realistic battle. So cool!!Jul 17, 2021 07:46
I bought this as a gift for my significant other for his birthday. He has a RGB for his desktop setup but was looking into speakers. I was stuck between the Razr brand and Logitech. He already has the Razr brand mouse, mousepad, & keyboard. I’m happy I decided the G560 speakers instead of the nomma chromas. These pack a lot of power. If you live in a apartment I don’t recommend these. They’re very powerful and very loud. He loves them!Aug 25, 2019 10:01
Sounds very loud and clear, no distortion... the sub sounds very good too, could use a little more bass but overall very happy with the product... and the bluetooth works perfect no issuesFeb 12, 2021 20:32
Amazing sound , if you like bass you definitely need to buy this oneJun 07, 2021 12:30
These speakers are amazing. I have the Bose Companion 3 Series II and these Logitech G560 kill them. For $200 it’s awesome. Music sounds amazing. I would recommend these to anybody. I mostly listen to Rap music and they sound great. I have them hooked up to my iMac and I turn it up 4 clicks and they are loud enough. Buy them. Don’t think about it!!!Mar 27, 2020 17:49
I love love love these speakers. I wanted a sleek, simple set of speakers with power; I got just that. I know I can never go wrong with Logitech. A remote would make a great addition.May 08, 2020 16:04
Wow, I love these speakers! The lighting options are great too. I switch between screen reactive lighting (setting the zones is easy) to audio reactive. Cleaned up my desktop to enjoy the amazing lighting effect! Love it so far.Jun 08, 2020 14:24
Fill your room with big and balanced sound with this Logitech Z313 980-000382 3-piece speaker system featuring a 4" subwoofer and a control pod to easily adjust the volume and headphone controls.
I Used These Speakers To Put Inside My Arcade 1 Up Unit To Amplify The Sound And Needless To Say I Am Blown Away By The Quality !
Logitech Never Lets Me Down !Aug 03, 2020 15:12
This little Logitech 2.1 Channel Speaker System packs a punch in sound! I needed a speaker system that was compact enough for my desk, but produced a higher quality sound than my laptop speakers. As a college student that attends many Zoom classes, sound quality has become increasingly important to me. These speakers have great sound quality and are easy to hook up and use. They're perfect for any student, casual computer user, or even business professional!

We have 3 of these speaker setups. 2 of them are at least 4 or 5 years old and we just purchased another set for my daughter's home school station. All 3 stations use these. They did change the logo on them, but that's to be expected over time. They work very well and have a good full sound to them. Not tinny, flat, or lacking bass. Will keep good clarity up to reasonably high volumes without cracking or distortion. Excellent value. Only issue we don't like is the cable going into the control module not being a plug that can be removed. We always have a hard time routing it through cable pass throughs and the like because the module is so big. Other than that, it's a great set for it's price. It would even be a great set for twice it's price.Aug 24, 2020 08:20
I bought this to replace my old speakers. I didn’t need anything that would blow you out or seat. I really like this set. The speakers sound great, and the subwoofer is pretty decent too. The sub won’t rumble you fillings or anything, but provides a good amount of bass for it’s size. I caught it on sale for under 30 bucks, it’s definitely worth that and more.May 21, 2021 16:11
Outstanding sound for so little money. Easy setup and install. Anyone with very little computer experience can connect this system.Aug 20, 2017 16:47
These speakers are beyond amazing. The bass is on another level and highs are crisp and clear. They are perfectly balanced and are more than perfect for computer speakers. I have mine hooked up to my PS4 through an HDMI splitter so that might contribute to the performance of the speakers, but either way they are absolutely amazing. I've had them for a few days now and I still can't get over how incredible they are.
These would be very good as external TV speakers and they're more than enough as computer speakers or for gaming. They would even be perfect as speakers for your room for music playing in general.Sep 12, 2020 22:14
Talked to one of your employees regarding a better sound system for my video projector. He advised against this item as there might be "sound lag", but since it was more in line with my rather tight budget at the time, I bought it. I figured if it didn't work out I could always return it. But to my surprise, it provided much better sound than the "tinny" speakers built into my projector did. And with the subwoofer the sound had a much nicer tone. And, surprise, no "sound lag". The system was also easy to hook up; just needed a few adaptors, which I already had.Mar 04, 2015 17:58
good sound out of the small speakers. bass speaker is very good as well.. if you are placing the bass on carpet you wont get good sound unless you put something solid under it.. i put a small piece of thin pine board i had under it made a huge difference. i really do like these over the speakers and woofer i had before, big difference in sound quality. and really like the extended cord with the volume/on,off button/ earphone plug in that you can sit on your desk, very convenient.
i would recommend these to anyone looking for an upgrade.May 29, 2020 23:50
Immerse yourself in the future of gaming with Soundslayer Gaming Speaker, featuring the Dolby Atmos soundbar. SoundSlayer with Dolby Atmos puts you in the middle of the action by placing crystalline sound all around you with three-dimensional precision even overhead and behind you bringing you all the way into the story and fostering a deeper connection to your gaming, video and audio experience. Compatible with 4k Pass Through, the SoundSlayer Gaming Speaker lets you enjoy high-definition 4K content with no loss in image quality, as video source passes through the system to your PC or TV. This compact, yet powerful speaker brings gaming into the future for unprecedented level of intensity, tension, and connection.
Panasonic has released a great new product for gamers that don't need a huge entertainment system for audio. The package comes with the Soundslayer speaker, AC power cord/block attachment, remote control, and instruction manual. Panasonic offers a 1-year limited warranty for the speaker.
* Unlike smaller bluetooth/3.5mm portable audio devices, this one is wired via HDMI/fiber. Has a much better sound than using analog connections or bluetooth.
* Perfect size for gamers that play in a confined area (ie. dorm room, bedroom) where loud and massive audio is not ideal.
* Easy setup, plug-and-play design
* Deep immersive gaming sounds when playing PS4/PS5. Most sounds you hear with headphones are still heard with this speaker.
* The remote control offers multi-functions that are easy to use. Remote is light but solid.
* Since this speaker has both HDMI and Digital (fiber) audio, you can technically have 2 different wired sources connect in addition to wireless bluetooth.
* I did not experience any kind of lag/delay in audio/video sync.
* It has 4K passthrough with multiple audio formats that it can handle including Dolby Atmos and DTS-X.
* The biggest con is that a digital display is not provided. This is a very simple addition that would have really put this speaker at the top of its game. Instead, you have to know the light sequences in order to know what happens. There isn't much for the lights to do, but a digital readout would still be way more convenient than lights flashing left/right, or a specific number of times.
* Many gamers play 2 different platforms (PS5/Xbox/PC/PS4) or at least USE 2 of these. Since there is only 1 HDMI in/out, you may need to buy a separate HDMI switch if you want multiple inputs to the speaker. IE. My son in college uses this speaker for both his PC and PS5. We bought a separate HDMI switch to accommodate this setup. Having 1 more HDMI input would be good at this price point. You can see the small HDMI switch we use in one of my pictures (2 input, 1 output).
* This speaker is clearly not for deep immersive MUSIC. It has bass, but only to a limited extent. It really is more for gaming/TV sounds rather than music. Even though it does have Bluetooth (BT), music would sound better on most other BT wireless speakers. Deep bass sounds sound more like a thud than a boom. But given the size of the bass driver, that should be expected.
* If you lose your remote, you still have some functionality with the Power/Volume/Input buttons on the right side of the unit. Don't lose the remote or you'll lose a bit of functionality.
* Keep in mind that when you plug in the speaker to another source that has its own volume controls, you'll want to set the volume to the source and the speaker itself in a way in which you can adjust the volume of the other so it's convenient for you. (ie. If you want to control the speaker via PC, turn up the speaker all the way and use the PC volume controls to raise volume up and down).
* The power cord is proprietary with a power block in the middle (not USB-C).
This gaming speaker is very simplistic in nature. It's not complicated. It's plug and play, has some good features including having quick bass control and surround 3D sound via the remote. It's perfect for college student (dorm room) or a gamer at home that may not want a ton of bass thumping the entire house. Clarity of voices is crystal clear, and sheer volume is plenty. This is a great substitution for not using headphones as the 3D sound is very good. The biggest flaw is the sequence of the lights and not having a digital display of some sort. You need the instructions to know what the lights are telling you which is a nuisance during initial setup. But once you know what the lights do, it's not too bad; however, IMO, it's enough to get a star knocked off the final rating. A good user interface is worth a lot.Mar 23, 2021 17:26
The Soundslayer had very crisp sound, incuding lots of bass; and stayed in sync with either games or YouTube videos as to video and sound. Often, cheaper units have a delay with the singer-video and the audio and with this device this never occurred. Of course with gaming this is a ‘must’ feature – so highest marks here.
I did pair a gaming laptop and desktop as well as a cell phone with the Soundslayer. All machines eventually paired, but in every case it took a few cycles of moving Bluetooth off and on to finally see the Soundslayer in the list of items to pair; so this was a minor annoyance.
I also used HDMI cables to connect the Soundslayer. Whether Bluetooth or cabled, the speaker performed excellent.
The sound was terrific and really enhanced game playing, I never heard my motorsports game so precise where you could hear all the different sounds coming from the small speakers. This unit is relatively heavy and this heft attests to the power of the speakers inside. I didn’t hear a lot of difference between the 4 sound modes, but there were better highs in game mode per my ears.
I’ve attached a photo to show how nice the unit fits under this 32” monitor which is a big plus so that it is basically out of the way when playing games or listening to music. Movies were wonderful to hear with such clarity in the sound. I played some classical music and it was far better with this unit than with other various speakers I tried.
I do highly recommend this unit, it is worth the extra cost to get a unit that obviously is more than just speakers since the engineers have built in the electronics to create a better game environment. Great.Mar 20, 2021 08:52
The Panasonic Soundslayer is a the best soundbar I've used in years! Not only is it a PC gamers dream, it works in pretty much every room you can think of. I was immediately impressed with its size and sheer performance. You can use this as a home theater in your living room or on your desk to maximize immersion and get the audio advantage of a traditional headset. The soundslayer features 3 main game sound modes and can also be connected via Bluetooth with incredible listening quality. Setup was simple and can connect a couple of ways to fit your needs, whether it's hdmi or optical. The design is sleek and fits beautifully just about anywhere you place it. I have mine under my monitor and it takes up barely any space, this is a huge plus. The remote is pretty standard, nothing too crazy about it but it does it's job. I mainly play fps games so the 2nd game mode that boosts 3d surround is my default setting. The quality here is absolutely top notch and I really feel like I can hear every detail from footsteps to the ambience in a map. Awareness is key and this soundbar makes you feel like you have an advantage over others with just subpar tv speakers. The other 2 modes also work great in their respective areas. And if you're not really a gamer and want something to complement your living room and enhance your listening experience, the Soundslayer will certainly get the job done as well. This product is a great addition for anyone who's ready to step up their audio game! Panasonic has created a master class soundbar in a convenient little box. If your willing to dish out the cash, you'll be making a great choice.Mar 17, 2021 01:40
We moved into our house nearly 10 years ago. Ever since then, I’ve found myself rearranging the furniture and electronics every couple of months. I finally got it into a layout that is both comforting and practical for my needs. One of the things that I really like about the room is that I have it divided up into sections. One section has a place for me to shoot photos, another has a place for me to work on my computer, and the third area is designated for gaming. I have an Xbox Series X that I typically use for my gaming activities. Right now, it’s just plugged into my TV, which has decent speakers, but I’ve been wanting something that offers a bit more power. The problem I have is that space is at a premium in my office so I didn’t want a full multi-speaker surround sound set-up. So, I turned to soundbars. Since one of the main reasons I want better sound is for gaming, I selected the Soundslayer since it’s specifically designed for that purpose.
The first thing I noticed about the Soundslayer is its size. It is very compact - measuring only 17 inches long. One of the pictures I included shows the speaker sitting on top of an Xbox One X just to demonstrate the size difference. Since I was trying to take up as little space as possible, the smaller size of the speaker is a big plus for me. I do have to admit though, a speaker of this size starts to look puny next to a 65-inch television. I have my TV mounted to a wall in my office and I was hoping to be able to use a soundbar mount so that the speaker could live directly beneath the TV on a mount of its own. Unfortunately, the Soundslayer isn't compatible with wall mounting. The mount I had could hold it as a shelf, but since I didn’t have a good way to secure the speaker - due to the absence of mounting holes - I opted to just set the speaker on the TV stand. Because I try to keep that area as clutter-free as possible and this change-up caused me to router wires differently and rearrange the top of my TV stand to accommodate the speaker, I have to take points away for the design of this speaker and its lack of mounting options.
To test the sound quality out, I plugged my Xbox into the soundbar using HDMI and played a few rounds of Red Dead Redemption 2. While I was playing, I would swap back and forth between the different sound modes. I started with GAME mode and was really blown away by the crisp sound quality I got from the soundbar. Since I’m used to simply using the TV's speakers, there were a lot of sounds that I could now hear because they were being enhanced by the soundbar’s features. It was very impressive. While I was still on GAME mode, I switched on the 3D surround sound effect. I didn’t exactly feel as though I was surrounded by sound, but I could tell that the 'effect' was present as it moved between the speakers in the soundbar. There was a discernible difference between GAME and STANDARD mode though. While the quality of the sound was still good, it just wasn’t as well-defined or as deep sounding as the GAME mode. STANDARD mode still beat out the TV speakers. CINEMA and MUSIC were very similar in my opinion. Since I was testing all of these out by playing a game, I know I might be missing some nuances that might be present when I watch a movie or listen to music.
While the sound quality and build are nice, there are a few things I don't like. First, there aren't enough inputs for my use. In fact, there aren’t enough inputs for my fiancé’s use either - and she only has an Xbox and an Apple TV. There are one HDMI input and one HDMI output. So, aside from using the optical cable or the Bluetooth connection, you can only have one device running through the soundbar. Second, there are no cables other than the power cable included. There isn’t even an optical cable included and most soundbars I’ve seen have at least included that. Third, the display is non-existent. Panasonic has done a nice job providing notifications through a series of LEDs on the soundbar, which is nice because you know that the button you’ve pressed on the remote has been received by the soundbar. But, it would be great to be able to see a volume level or a reminder about which mode you are actually on. While most of these are minor annoyances, they did affect my user experience and so I wanted to note them here.
This tiny soundbar does pack quite a punch in the sound department. It is easy to set-up and produces a high-quality sound. For its price, I would just like to see some sort of attention paid to the little details that would really make this a great speaker.Mar 21, 2021 18:50
If you want more out of your gaming, then experience the Panasonic Sound Slayer with Dolby Atmos including HDR 4K UHD pass through. The Sound Slayer is a 2.1 setup in a 3 way speaker array. The built in subwoofer (16cm) tweeter (1.4cm) and mid (4cm) all work together to pull out loud, clear and amazing sounds within a small unit that can easily be placed in tiny areas where space is a premium. With built in Bluetooth, Dolby Atmos, DTS X and DTS Virtual X this gaming Soundbar will surround you with sound. There are multiple ways to connect to your favorite game, movie and music. Bluetooth is available, the HDMI ARC (Auto Return Channel) for 4k HDMI pass through to your entertainment and lastly the Optical cable option.
For me the optical cable was the way to go. It was so simple. Take an Optical cable from the out on the TV to the in on the Soundbar. Bam! You are now hooked up to use the Panasonic Sound Slayer how ever you choose. Bluetooth is another way to set up your Soundbar for music. Typically a flashing blue light indicates the Soundbar is trying to pair up with a smart phone, computer or other Bluetooth device. Once paired the blue light is solid. This is how most Soundbars hook up to Bluetooth and the Sound Slayer is no exception. Lastly are the HDMI cables you will need to transfer sound from your TV to your Soundbar. Make sure the cables are high speed HDMI so the setup can handle 4K with the Soundbar.
I enjoyed the 3 modes on the Soundbar for specific sound: #1 RPG (Role Playing Game) using the Soundbar for more precise sounding action. #2 FPS (First Person Shooter) This setting provides sound from many sides and even behind you. Now, when gaming and an opponent is behind you in the game, the sound will also be behind you with the Sound Slayer. #3 (Clearer speech), a better sense of clear dialogue, gives speech a great deal more of the power. Vocals are clear and easy to understand.
The most important feature, in my opinion, is the Dolby Atmos embedded in the Panasonic Sound Slayer. This is by far a great tech improvement for Soundbars everywhere. Sounds come from the top and bounce off the ceiling and walls creating a unique experience. It sounds very realistic to my ears. I have the Sound Slayer hooked up to the HDTV via the Optical cable. The sounds from the Sound Slayer really do reflect off the environment it is placed in. To get the true sound of innovation from the Sound Slayer, small to medium size rooms will give you the best bang.
A uniquely shaped, easy-to-use Remote, helps you select the sound mode, mute, 3D surround, volume, subwoofer intensity and Bluetooth pairing. Its shape helps not to mistake it for other remotes. I know I have 5 remotes so this is a small but helpful feature. The Input button lets you select between the different inputs like, Bluetooth, Optical cable and high speed HDMI.
The information book that explains how the features give way to the benefits is actually very helpful. Blinking blue, orange, and green lights tell you that tell you what stage you are in with the Sound Slayer. It takes a little while to get used to, but like anything else, the lights and buttons will become familiar. I had no trouble switching back and forth between modes and soundscapes with all the Dolby options available. There are also controls on the right side of the Sound Slayer if you prefer or if you lose the remote. It is a nice option to have, just in case.
Overall the Panasonic Sound Slayer 2.1 is a great addition to your entertainment system. If you find individual amps receivers or speakers are too expensive or something you don’t want to mess with, the Panasonic Sound Slayer might be the way for you. It gets really loud but with a full sound that will fill small and medium size rooms with music, gaming or movies. The Dolby Atmos is another great reason this Sound Slayer is worth a look.Mar 17, 2021 19:08
When I 1st got my hands on the package, I thought to myself "Soundslayer?, but the box is small".....I was put in my place fast. Inside the box you'll find the soundbar, power cord and brick, remote and literally "Basic Instructions". I highly recommend scanning the QR code and download the full manual as it's ~24 pages long that lets you take advantage of its full potential.
Hooking up the bar couldn't be any simpler. You have 3 options, HDMI, Bluetooth and Optical. I use the HDMI option and love that it has 4K HDR passthrough. It even works with 3D if you still use it. Supports many formats of Dolby, Atmos, DTS, DTS X etc. There are 4 sound "modes" - Standard, Music, Cinema and Game. Within Game mode, there are 3 more options - Game 1, 2 and 3. 1 is for RPGs, 2 is for FPS and 3 enhances voice.
It could be a little frustrating at first to get used to figuring out what mode or sound options you are using because there is no screen to let you know. There are instead 4 LEDs and you must know which combination of blinking leds mean what (why I HIGHLY recommend DLing the full manual, it gives you all options).
Using it for my PC sounded great. Even though it does not have it's own separate sub, it does have one built it. Sound is LOUD and Crisp. No distortions at all. Bass was good and had some oomph to it. Also used this as a bar for my TV and hooked up my console to it. Size was perfect for my 40" 4K tv to fit right under it. The footprint is small and can fit almost anywhere. It even fills up not only my game room but also my living room. For the size, it is about the size of a regular keyboard (you can see my K95 in the background next to it).
I also paired my phone with it via Bluetooth and all music and podcasts sounded wonderful. Also a note in case you were wondering, I ran my PS5 to the bar via HDMI and then hooked it up to my TV's HDMI ARC input. There was no audio/video syncing issues at all. Perfectly in sync. In a rare chance you might want to adjust it, you can with the bar, though it is hard to navigate to it.
I highly would recommend this surprisingly awesome sound bar to anyone in the market for great sound, small footprint, portability and build quality.Mar 22, 2021 00:15
The Panasonic - Soundslayer 2.1 soundbar is a nice upgrade for any means of gaming. It has the versatility to connect to your gaming console or PC via HDMI passthrough. There is also the option of using an optical connection or even Bluetooth. The optical connectivity would be optimal if you have multiple systems connected to your monitor or TV. The controls are fairly simple and you can adjust things using the control or the buttons on the side.
Generally speaking, the SoundSlayer soundbar provides excellent sound for as small as it is. Since it is just over 2” tall, it can easily squeeze into tight areas to stay out of the way. Case in point, I was able to slide it right under my 55” TV so it could be used to enhance the sound of our Switch. It fit in nicely and didn’t look out of place at all. As for connecting to my PC, it’s a little bulkier and stands out more than my 2 speaker setup. It’s not awful, but at just over 5” deep and 17” long, it takes up more real estate than I care to see.
Returning to the sound quality, it can really fill a room. You have the ability to make some sound adjustments to get exactly what you want too. There are Standard, Movie, Game, and Cinema setting options to match what you are watching or playing. There is also a subwoofer toggle to pump in as much bass as you desire. I found that they all perform well.
With all that being said, it’s not all glitter and gold. As many have stated, the HDMI passthrough results in a “blinking” of the screen when turning it on and off. It’s just an annoying thing to witness even though it is over quickly. The other thing is the LEDs on the front. I would prefer a better display to know what setting you are in because it’s going to take some time to get used to the LED placement and coloring to know what mode I am in. Also, those LEDs are constantly on so you are getting that added light when you are in a darker setting. That is certainly not ideal. Lastly, I am going to nitpick about the price point and not including at least one cable for connectivity is crazy.
All in all, the Panasonic - Soundslayer 2.1 can give your entertainment area a nice little boost without taking up a ton of space. It can certainly give you that better sound for your gaming needs or even your TV/movie watching.Mar 24, 2021 23:03
The Soundslayer is a fairly compact soundbar that fits on your tabletop. I gave it a go initially with my Xbox Series X and I was able to passthrough 4K HDR content without any issues. Played some solo, online and streamed some video content, regardless what I threw at it I was pleased with the sound, plus the volume that this compact soundbar can push out. Having it in a TV setup, my one complaint would be changing the volume, you can see the lights flashing from left to right or right to left depending on if you are turning the volume up or down, but there isn't really anyway to tell what your current volume level is.
The built in subwoofer works fairly well, which has four levels and you can tell where you are with the flashing lights. I will typically use the soundbar in Music, Cinema or Game depending on the content I am playing. I do like that Game does have 3 different settings, one for RPG, another for FPS and the last enhances voices. There is a sequence to the lights on front, that's explained in the manual, to let you know which setting you are currently in. There is also a Clear Dialog button.
Didn't spend a lot of time in bluetooth, but it's nice to know you can easily pair your phone or other bluetooth devices to output audio. I pretty much only used this for music while working on my PC.
This is a great soundbar if you are looking for great sound, but are limited on space. A LCD screen to show information would be great, just a mini one to display basic information such as volume level would be great. Also for the price it would be nice to see an optical audio cable or an HDMI included in the box to help get you setup quicker. I had to take a 18gbps cable from another room to get this up and running. Not deal breakers, just would be nice, wouldn't stop me from suggesting this sound system to anyone with limited space looking to get an enjoyable gaming experience!Mar 22, 2021 13:12
Feel your game's immersive audio with this multichannel Creative Labs Sound BlasterX Katana gaming sound bar. Its tri-amplified design provides accurate, room-filling sound, and it comes with a 5.25-inch subwoofer that produces clean, dynamic bass. Set an ambience with the programmable Aurora Reactive lighting system of this Creative Labs Sound BlasterX Katana gaming sound bar.
Really good speaker. I am currently using it without the subwoofer due to desk space. I rarely put the volume level at more than 10 because it is so loud. Really solid sound bar glad I bought it.Mar 21, 2021 17:21
Got a new ultra wide monitor and found that I no longer have the desktop space to have my beloved definitive technology incline speakers.
These aren't quite up to the performance level of the definitive technology speakers but they're acceptable and the form factor is perfect for my space.Sep 24, 2021 15:13
So even though I no longer have this due to issues with compatibility with my AIO computer, I don't see what the fuss is about with this. I like creative products, and I have had my eyes on this model for months. I figured I'd give it a try. First off, the sound is good like the rest of their products, but what is up with the cheap remote they give you for this supposedly great sound bar? This is for gaming, has lights that are very cool, but for the price and they offer you a very cheap looking and feeling remote. So small you can lose it too. This sound bar is average at best. Although the sound bar has a nice build to it. Buy it if you must, but there are better options as well.Dec 16, 2020 23:25
Very cool sound bar, RPG so beautiful. Good Sound and BassAug 07, 2021 23:11
I ordered one of these because of the size and how it can fit closer to monitors. What I did not expect was how much sound these speakers put out. The speakers sound great.
The extra input options also come in handy so I can hook the phone up to it for playing tunes. The remote control makes it easy to flip between sources and control volume.Aug 15, 2020 11:26
Great sound quality, very immersive. Great for gaming and very loud without losing any quality. The bass is deep and powerful.Mar 12, 2021 17:39
This sound bar is amazing if there was anything I could add to it. I would add nothing cause its already perfect. I hope the next version of this makes a wireless subwooferJun 23, 2019 01:07
I love this sound bar system. The bass from the sub sounds deep and clear and the mids and highs from the sound bar are also very clear.May 01, 2020 15:49
Increase the enjoyment of streaming video and games on your PC with this Logitech compact speaker system. The small form factor offers easy placement on your desk or around your computer stand, and an included down-firing subwoofer picks up every bit of bass. This Logitech compact speaker system has simple controls for effortless management.
Have had this setup for a little bit now (almost a month). Extremely easy to hook up. Very sleek in appearance and can get very loud while keeping great quality sound. Exceptionally good for the price and I recommend these to anyone looking for an upgrade.
Upgraded to these from a 12+ year old set of Logitech speakers (which still worked and sounded nice, they were just visually outdated), so I expect these speakers to last just as long. Logitech is a great brand! Extremely satisfied.Aug 13, 2021 15:37
Good set of speakers. Easy to set up and use and they offer decent sound quality. You get what you pay for. Overall an affordable set of stereo speakers with some bass. Recommended.Oct 21, 2021 16:18
Works well for the price. Obviously not close audiophile levels but beats having 0 speakers.Oct 29, 2021 16:52
It’s cool item to listen to my computer.music and so movies & tv shows it very nice to own .I am really happy I bought it . it sounds like a little stereo it also it’s portable to move around and outside in the yard for barbecue outside special place Best Buy w.wSep 24, 2021 16:48
Weak power but works well enough. Connected to my TV as a cheap replacement for the internal speakers.Apr 26, 2021 07:14
The sound was not what I expected. I should have gotten the better ones.. you live u learnOct 02, 2021 15:55
This little speaker set is great! the quality is amazing for such a little set.Aug 02, 2021 10:00
It's quite nice, and does not topple easily as the other one that I had before. The base could be better.Jan 23, 2021 18:28
