This is my first induction top and other than needing to buy all new pots and pans I’m thrilled with it. It heats up quickly and the cooling down time is much faster than electric. The heat distribution is very even as well.

I like this cooktop but there is a learning curve. I doubt I will even get around to using some of the features. The pluses with this cooktop are looks, safety, easy to clean, and less heat generated in the kitchen. The minuses are higher initial cost, high installation cost if a new 220 volt circuit is needed, appropriate cookware is needed, and potentially more complex to use along with unknown reliability and repair costs.

Easy to use. Can fit all my pots and pans at the same time. Boils water in less than a minute. Has timers that are very convenient. The setup was easy.

This is an excellent cooktop. It heats up quickly, maintains a steady temperature and is easy to keep clean. Just be sure to wipe up any spills before you use the burner again. it is almost impossible to find a 24" cooktop. This is perfect and still gives you 4 burners.

We bought the unit on 12/30/19 but finally got it installed by Best Buy this past Saturday on 1/18/20. We had an electrician install new 6/3 gauge wire and 50 amp breaker per installation guide to make sure there was no issues. Now after just a few days we could not turn off the unit. It became unresponsive while it was still on!!! I had to reset the unit by flipping the breaker off/on. The user guide has no troubleshooting for if the unit touch screen buttons do not respond. This is super disappointing after spending $2000 for the cooktop and electrician!! And off course now that it is installed it is showing in our BestBuy account that it is none returnable! Buyer beware! DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF JUNK!!!

This is the second cooktop we have received… the first one was taken out by lightning in a storm in May 2021. This is an Excellent cooktop… this is why we got the same one. We love everything about this cooktop!

We love the size of this cooktop and the ability to actually have 3 large pans on it at once. We could never put more than two large pans on the range cooktop and then could only use small pans for the other two burners. We were a little concerned with not having any actual controls knobs, but have grown to really love the touch control feature as well.

The pan slides easily on the cooktop, so if you are using a spatula to flip if you aren’t also holding the pan handle you push the pan across the cooktop. (Like way more than a typical glass cook top)

I am right in the middle of the Remodle so I don’t want to show it off. I do have to say I was prepared to take some drastic measures but Best Buy came through like a knight in shining armor.

I love this stove! I got it a sale price and I couldn’t be happier. I chose it begrudgingly as the one I really liked was not available until May (I got this in Feb), I’m glad I did! It functions really well and was priced way below other brands. I hope it lasts for a long time. It’s so easy to clean too.

Frigidaire induction stove top was on sale when I bought it. It was nearly half off. So far the stovetop works like my old one which broke, hence the purchase of this one. The only thing really that annoy me is that you have to ouch the power button before any operations. Even the timer. I guess this is a safety thing.

Clean looking unit, easy to use controls. Best Buy install team was pretty much useless on this, couldn't complete install due to it being the "wrong size", which involved adding a 1/2" wood strip on my part. Good product, hapless install team.

I’m in love with this stove! It cooks so fast! I just wish it was a little bigger.

I received the the cook top via Best Buy delivery and it came packed very well. The Frigidaire - Gallery Series 30" Electric Induction Cooktop was very easy to install which I did myself. All the electrical connections were attached to the cook top and all I had to do was connect the wiring to the outlet---simple. I did have to purchase a new electrical junction box because the newer cable was larger than the older one on my previous cook top. Once connected the cook top performed great. Heating up any item was quick and the heat produce did not spread to the rest of the surrounding glass. There is a very low hum when the cook top is powered on, but it is not noticeable unless you are really looking for it. I would highly recommend this cooktop.

Works well just know that you have to have a certain type of magnetic pots and pans in order to cool on this top. Love the knobless controls!

We looked for an induction cooktop for weeks. We were surprised at how expensive they were. Then we found the Frigidaire Gallery. The price was half of most other brands. We did our research and found that the only missing feature of any consequence was the lack of a bridge which allows you to use 2 burners for a grill. This was a feature that I did not want our need. All of the reviews of the Frigidaire Gallery were 5 stars. Also, I think it is one of the most attractive cooktop with a design that hides smudges. Installation was quick and easy. I replaced a GE Profile in a granite countertop and it fit perfectly.

Cooking had been a pleasure. Water boils in under a minute and the cooktop does not get hot. The controls are intuitive and easy to operate.

This is an attractive cooktop with five burners. The stainless steel trim complements my stainless steel appliances. You will want to read the instructions for use and care, as there are specific limitations relative to type of pan, size of pan, and the cleaning process. As with any new cooktop, it takes time to perfect technique. The cream cleaner recommended is necessary for heavier residue, but its successful use is tedious. I recommend Weiman Cooktop Daily Cleaner for less intense cleaning.

I've only just begun to use it. Had my GE Profile for 20 years so adjusting to a new way of doing things. So far, no complaints. Wish the under electrical box was smaller so I didn't have to remake my drawer.

The wifi doesnt pair and im disappointed about that. Besides that, the stove top is excellent. Get hot immediately and is very easy to clean

This is the 3rd Bosch product I've purchased. I am a true convert. There is a bit of a learning curve and I needed to purchase all new cookware but it is worth it!

The touch pad controls are difficult to use, to turn off you must scroll from nine to zero. The timer starts at ten minutes or thirty minutes, you must scroll to other numbers. And some brands of “induction capable” pots still don’t work on this cooktop

The first induction unit arrived cracked and had to send it back, delaying our renovation project.

The "hot" indicator shuts off too early. 15 minutes after the indicator turned off I put my hand above the burners we used--they were still hot. Had I set down something plastic it would have melted. Other than that--I already love this appliance!!!

Also my contractor use a base cabinet for the wall oven/cooktop combination it did not work he had to make the bottom a little lower to make it fit.

Overall very satisfied. Only downfall was the fact that this was the only 30” cooktop that fit our existing cutout. Would have liked to have able picked a different unit on sale. Overall installation was done very professionally.

Lightweight and easy to install. Nice features including a burner lock and a super boil function that heats the burner to max temp in seconds. Love it!

This new stovetop replaced a 48 year old stovetop. So far, it has been great. The power boil option on 2 eyes is wonderful and I like the lock feature to keep little hands from being able to turn on the stove. This really updated the look of my kitchen and is exactly what I wanted.

Got this to update my dad's kitchen and I didn't want the best and I think I got a very good cook top. My daughter uses it and said's that it cooks her food and heats up very well. Glad I got this model.

Cooktop was easy to install. Turning on the cooktop did take me a minute to learn but that is why there are directions. After reading them the cooktop is easy to use and looks great!

I decided to upgrade to this cooktop from a slide-in range that I had originally purchased. This offers speedy indication functionality, safety, WiFi connectivity, ease of cleaning, all incorporated into a sleek, modern and minimalistic design. It’s not the cheapest, but also not the most expensive cooktop, but worth the money for what it is.

I’ve had my Bosch Induction NIT8669UC installed and in use for 6 months now, and wanted to wait this long before posting a review to avoid any “honeymoon” phase bias. This cooktop replaced a 25 year old gas range. My wife and I both agree that this induction range is extremely safer than gas. We no longer worry about the kids turning on an active flame, severely burning themselves, or bumping the knob and leaking gas into the house with concerning complications. We also don’t need to worry about our clothing or other utensils accidentally melting or catching fire because they were in the wrong place for a brief moment. The cooktop can turn itself off automatically when cooking is finished, which gives peace of mind.

We are very satisfied with our purchase and moving to induction. We didn’t realize how much we would benefit from having so much safe cooking power available. Boiling water for anything and quickly heating up frying pans is a great feature. We also like how the cooktop cools down so quickly, which is a great safety feature of induction. We frequently use the cook timer feature to turn off a burner at a given time.

Cooking rice is especially easier when you know when you want the cooktop to stop cooking. The Wi-Fi and app feature is also nice to be able to confirm the cooktop is off.

There are just a few drawbacks. Most of our pans were induction compatible, but it’s definitely worth it to do the magnet test on your pots and pans to find out what you’re not going to be able to use on induction. We also have found that the controls are a little hard to use when cooking on 2 or more burners at the same time. This is because the control panel is setup to first select the burner and then change things like power and timers. We frequently make the mistake of changing the power before realizing we changed the power of a different burner in use because we forgot to first select it. It’s not a dealbreaker but sometimes leads to confusion when cooking on multiple spaces at the same time.

We highly recommend this cooktop, especially when switching from gas. In the end, we have found that we cook meals faster on induction and enjoy the tech and safety features.

This cooktop is the best induction cooktop I’ve owned. My last 2 stoves were induction, and that’s all I ever cook with. It’s fast and so easy to clean. Bosch always makes quality products, and this one meets that expectation.

Very happy with the cooktop. Had to change some pots to work with induction but worth it.

With induction cooktop it is very easy to keep the surface clean. Had radiant cooktop earlier which got thankfully got recalled, it was a pain to keep glass surface clean. With Bosch induction cooktop, cleaning is a breeze. The features provided are great. It will take a while to learn them as there are too many. The WiFi Homeconnect is good to monitor if cooktop settings remotely. You can send cooking instructions remotely to cooktop, but it has to be confirmed by the person on the cooktop physically. The speedboost option is great, it heats up stuff in seconds. Overall very satisfied with the purchase.

We really love this cooktop! It’s very powerful. The controls take a bit to get used to, but now that we’ve had it for a while, we like them. Easy to control the heat settings. Easy to clean off. When not in use, it virtually disappears since all the controls are on the glass too. The biggest challenge was to find induction cookware...

Took over eight months canceling multiple times but finally we had to cancel ourselves.

This cooktop is exactly what we were looking for in our new kitchen! Our builder was shocked that we could still fit a drawer below the cooktop because it is such a slim design.

We love the arrangement of the burners and the size options they provide. We are able to cook multiple items at a time. We link it so much, we are ordering another for the new house we're building next year.

This cook top is sleek and adds elegance to a kitchen. Tons of compliments on it. Very satisfied with its cooking ability. Boiling is slow, but once you get the hang of transferring from electric coil or gas flame to using a ceramic cook top, cooking is a breeze. I rate it strong in these areas.

What I don't like: this one is very difficult to clean. It is not as responsive to cook top cleaners as one would hope. And getting rid of cook top cleaner polish smears takes forever and a day. It is not as easy to buff clean as the instructions imply. That said, it is still easier than cleaning oven pans on a gas or electric coil stove. You will need a scratch pad made for glass cook tops and you will need the scraper made for cook tops. Never let old spills and smears stay on too long. And wipe off as many spills with damp paper towel and dry BEFORE applying polish cleaner. Knobs are very hard to get back shiny.

Also, cook top will scratch easily---small annoying marks that are not seen until bright light illuminates, but still.

I enjoy it and would not go back to electric coil. I would go to gas, so if you can get one in gas, that is what I would recommend. This one so far, is as good as any electric on the market today. I have only had it in use about 8 months, so bear that in mind. I can not yet comment on durability. If you were to purchase this one, I recommend getting the stainless steel trim. Would be even more beautiful. Mine is black in an all-white kitchen and blends nicely. Just the right size---5 burners is really all you need.

The GE 36" Electric Cooktop works great. It heats up quickly and works well. The installation was easy since we the original cooktop was another GE 36 inches. Just make sure that the dimensions are the same for ease of installation.

We have had GE electric stove top for 15 years, we upgraded to this one because the surface on the older one started showing signs of wear, but it worked just fine.

So far we're loving the cooktop. The power boil is fantastic and the stainless steel set It off. I installed it myself, super easy.

Shipping was slow and impossible to track. Need to remedy.

This was the only stovetop we could find with an exhaust fan and it's a huge improvement over our old one. Very pleased with the cooktop.

Bought thus unit to replace old stove top in house we bought. First the unit looks great. Second it heats quickly. Third the additional 5th large burn is a great feature.

The cooktop works fine, but the stainless steel accents on the front and back of the cooktop are easily scratched with normal use. The day we had the cooktop installed we used it to cook our dinner. We immediately noticed that our pans caused scratches on the stainless steel. The scratches have gotten more numerous the more we use the cooktop. I would definitely not buy this cooktop with the stainless steel accents again!

They seem happy with it. We do notice the top is very touch sensitive. If you say lay a loaf of bread on top of it , it beeps and thinks you want to set the temperature!

We had a Kitchen. It was time to replace. I chose this one because it had 5 burner's. I also liked the flat touch for the controls opposed to knobs. We are all still getting use to the touched. Not so sure I really like it. I do like it frees up the space and is flat. We are still getting use to the temperature control yet. We have burned a few things. You need to cook at a low temp. The controls are not easy to see . They need to be darker.

I had a GE Profile before. From the description, it looked like I didn't need those few extra features, so I picked the standard GE. No store carried this model for me to actually see, so I bought it online, sight unseen. The printing/lettering is so faint and hard to read, I always have to use the overhead light to use the cooktop. Very annoying. There are a few things I liked on the Profile that aren't on the standard cooktop.

This is my second 36 inch GE smooth cooktop the first one I had lasted me 14 years can’t complain about that. I hope I have as good luck with this one as I did with the first.

We ordered this single-element unit so that we could try an induction cooktop without committing to spending a ton of money on a high-end built in unit that we may not like.

Conclusion: we're completely sold.

This little induction unit does a great job, with plenty of power and enough precision to rival (or beat) gas. It feels solid, but it's not too heavy. It's fairly intuitive to use, and there's a manual to get you introduced. The box even came with a magnet for you to use to check if your pans will work with induction. Almost every pan we have works perfectly, including our cast iron, carbon steel, and stainless steel sets.

It makes quite a bit of noise, which we expected. A lot of it is the induction element, but the cooling fans are quite loud as well. It's the price you pay for an inexpensive, powerful countertop unit I suppose. It would be nice if the element was square and used up the entire surface, but such a unit wouldn't be as good of a price.

Brand new, out of the box and it doesn't work. I get an incompleted 4 ( see photos below). I bought two of these and the same thing happens to the other unit. Get this..I returned those two, and two more were sent to me. The same thing happens. I'm thinking it must be something in my house, so I took them to work and plugged it into an outlet in our breakout room. Nothing. It lights up, but does NOT WORK! How could this happen. Twice??

with my $10 reward , i got this for $25 ,, i now have 3,, but this one is more powerful to heat ,,, and has a temperature setting where my other 2 insigna only do power level setting ..

i travel with these to use in hotel to perk morning coffee and cook soup, or whatever in a pot .. lot easier than other methods ..

i like these with timer to shut off ,, after a while of use ,you learn what value to set and just let it go and not worry about burning or over cooking ..

my 2 original purchase a few years ago was primarily for summer cooking that it does not heat up the kitchen , ,and now with 3 of these i can cook more item at same time ...

these single units are also better than a dual cooker unit ,, where i seen reviews of them that you can't set both dual cooker to max at the same time ... but with separate one you can ,, your limit then becomes the circuit breakers of your house wiring ..

very happy with all three of my insigna brand units , especially summer cooking and outside deck ,,, and traveling ..

It is light weight, and small enough to bring on trips for a "home-cooked" meal. There is a carrying handle on the box, which is convenient for travelling, although by design, the plastic handle is loose and easily falls off. Why they design it this way puzzles me, but it's easy to fix - some packing tape secures the handle to the cardboard box easily.

It is easy to use. There are two ways of adjusting the power: power or temperature. Particularly I like the temperature control very much. This is very useful when doing deep frying. Something to keep in mind: Switching between these two adjustment modes will cause the device to "forget" the setting in the other mode, and always goes to the highest power/temperature upon switching. This knowledge is useful when boiling soup or noodles to prevent boiling over and create mess.

Overall I am satisfied with this portable cooker, and glad I made the purchase.

You learn a lot of new things once you buy it. I bought it to experience cooking on induction before completely replacing my electric stove to induction. I learnt that You need to have pans and pota those are compatible with induction technology. Personally i feel like there are so many limitations in this type of cooking. This unit it self is good to try. Energy wise it is very efficient.

I was larger than I thought and found out you couldn't use it on a wood slab countertop. It was the same size as my Keurig metal storage case so it made a perfect spot for it. I filled the stainless steel pan I bought for the induction cooker with water. It took about three minutes for the water to boil on medium. It is a nice addition to my basement bar, we are planning to live in it when we have the rest of the house remodeled.

I’m very pleased with this cooker. Great deal at $30. There’s a learning curve, but manageable when paying attention. The few things that I’ve made have come out well.

I’m a blind individual, and layout of buttons is fantastic. I also appreciate the layout in user manual actually matched cooker layout. Great job Insignia and Best Buy.

I have a starter induction pot and pan set from BB&B, and there’s been no issues with connection. I have a few Insignia products, and have had no issues. A 3.4 qt Air Fryer going on 3 years, and a 5 qt going on 2 years. Hopefully this cooker does as well.

Seems to be dependable. This is my second one. First one is 3 to 4 years old and still working. I prefer induction over my glass electric range cooktop. I turned that off at breaker and use the 2 inductions on top of the range.

Salesman was excellent.

I created the first problem in not doing the measurement. I previously had a 30” cooktop that apparently was 30.2 “ and first one I ordered was 29.75” and was too small for the cutout. The Whirlpool which is over 30” fit perfectly.

The second problem occurred after the installation and the Best Buy installer left and II couldn’t close the drawers below the cooktop. If he hadn’t left So quickly the problem could have been resolved.

Apparently he put the connection cord over the slide surface for the drawer. They would not come back to fix it and I had someone else do for another $100.

Third problem, Best Buy installer didn’t use the foam tape.

Fourth problem. Best Buy installer didn’t use securing brackets.

I would recommend buyers not to pay $130 to Best Buy for their installation.

I have been looking to upgrade my cooktop for some time now. I wanted to update the look in our kitchen to be a bit more modern. My wife wasn't interested in anything too fancy and she didn't want something that had touch controls because she thought that it would be too easy to accidentally turn on. This Whirlpool cooktop was exactly what we wanted and we took advantage of a great sale price. So far it is working exactly as expected and it looks great!

Looks great and easy to install. Bought it as open box and it works perfectly.

The cook-top arrived in good condition, installed with ease, and cooks like a charm BUT, the all black knobs have a poorly delineated groove indicating the position. It is all but impossible to see. The settings for the burners are border line invisible, (see the attached photo)

I enhanced the knobs on mine by filling grooves with white correction fluid. (see attached photo)

The stovetop was too large for the opening so we had to cut a larger opening. The stovetop looks nice and works well.

We picked it up at the store and they brought it right out. It was perfect for our countertop. The only problem was, the installer never showed. We waited one hour on a telephone and they ended up sending us a $50 gift card. We hired outside of Best Buy, and actually even paid a little less. Best Buy customer service needs improvement.

This is a very good cooktop. It may require a larger hole than the cooktop you are replacing which raises the installation costs considerably (plus $160 in our case). Just check your dimensions carefully that this will fit in the space of the one you are replacing. Once it was in the hole, hooked up with no problems and works very well.

Install team was helpful and efficient. Model works great. Great replacement for cracked older model.

I love my new GE cooktop ! Not only does it change the whole appearance of my kitchen for the better, but it also great to cook on! Also, the flat surface allows me to place items like dinner plates on it to warm.

My purchase of GE cooktop was good. Product performs as stated on website. I am satisfied with the product, but disappointed that I was not told when I ordered it, that someone could come to my house and take proper measurements. Due to that lack of information, I had to order a filler kit and wait 2 more weeks for my installation. Then to top it off, the wrong color of the filler kit was sent to me. This still has not been resolved.

This electric cooktop is easy to use and regulate heat. It has 4 burners, 2 with optional power boil settings and 2 smaller burners, one with a, “keep warm” setting. Burner temperature is even across all 4 burners on similar settings, and a red light appears even after all burners are off, warning that the glass cooktop surface is still warm.

The glass surface is beautiful and easy to clean, but I do wish I would have opted for the touch screen version. The knobs are hard to clean around.

Highly recommend! Would buy again!

Nice cooktop with accurate temp adjustments. Easy to keep things at a simmer. However, it is easy to accidentally turn off burns with a splash of liquid or by brushing over the buttons.

After months of research and "due-diligence" looking for the ideal electric cooktop to replace a 40 year old Whirlpool electric cooktop, I selected this white glass cooktop from GE.

As you can see in the attached photo, the glass surface requires cleaning after use. The stain in this photo is the result from cooking 1 breakfast sandwich. All of my skillets, pot and pans have been scoured with steelwool to insure that old debris isn't transferred when in use (I learned this the hard way), but even with clean pans this is the result after only 10 minutes of cooking time.

There is a special glass cooktop cleaner that is used to remove these stains but you have to do this after every use if you want to keep a clean looking kitchen.

A black glass cooktop will not show the stains as much but they are still there.

Whatever the "pros" glass cooktops offer this "con" out-weighs them!

After 10 months of use, I'm now going to replace this stove with gas.

This is a very nice cooktop. I like the downdraft feature. Keeps strong cooking odors to a minimum. Heats evenly. Cleans up easily with cooktop cleaner. So far, so good. I'm happy.

This KitchenAid Cooktop replaces our old JennAir, and we were looking specifically for a cooktop that had a downdraft (DD) exhaust build into it. We loved the DD in our old JennAir and wanted to make sure a new one had it. Installation was easy as we were replacing the countertops in our kitchen and did not have to have a unit of the same size as our old one. Just had to realign the exhaust hole in the wall (cut a new one).

The KitchenAid heats quickly, offers a variety of sizes with four burners and the multi-speed exhaust allows adjustment for the amount of exhaust needed.

Cleaning is fairly easy but I would not recommend the use of an abrasives on the glass surface. Boil-overs or spills can be "scraped" off using a razor blade tool, like one for removing paint from windows, then soap and water.

The build quality is very good and performance to date had been great.

Replaced older Jenn-Air electric downdraft cooktop. Review written 1 month after installation. Thus far we are very satisfied with this cooktop.

KitchenAid Highs: Huge improvement in water boiling time when using the ultra heat setting. The 2 even heat burners have excellent low temperature range. Strong downdraft system. Chrome knobs. Grease filter sits in accessible tray very close to the cooktop surface and looks like it will catch most of what always ended up dripping or falling to bottom of Jenn Air blower unit that required elbow deep cleaning.

KitchenAid Lows: Stranded wire used for connection to home power supply. Funky offset connector is included from the square blower exhaust to a 6" round connector-note 6". If you are replacing a Jenn Air unit the blower exhaust is not the same size or position and requires a size step down and 90 degree multi adjustable connector twisted around to realign the approximate 2" offset.

Neutral: You are always chasing surface cleaning and scratches but it is black ceramic glass. Knob orientation to burner position is not as intuitive as Jenn Air. Surface vent footprint is smaller than Jenn Air with equal to or better air flow. 3 speed fan is not infinitely adjustable like Jenn Air but seems fine and slightly noisy like Jenn Air. Plastic grease filter.

The cook top works just fine. I do find it harder to clean than my last cooktop. It scratches much easier and even with the cleaner for a glass top cooktop it doesn't come clean easily. Other than that it work fine.

It's new, but so far works as expected! A great purchase!

I love the multi burners and adjustable ring sizes. You can also sync the 2 left burners if you have a large griddle. Great for cooking pancakes. This cooktop is all digital, and will take some getting used to at first. There is a lockout just in case you have cats that like to jump up on the appliances so they can't accidentally turn on a burner. However, we have lost power a couple of times, and upon reset, the lockout is not engaged. a slight flaw in the design.

Have wanted one of these for years but had to wait until I had 220V circuit available in the kitchen.

So happy with the new purchase.

Great replacement for older GE monogram cooktop which lost a burner. A replacement burner was out of stock for months so I had this replace it. This one has 5 heating pads and 2 of them can be linked for cooking larger items. The look is very good and the controls much better than the one it replaced. I had it installed and it took just a few minutes.

I couldn't find a cooktop in PR because of hurracane Maria. I thought of Best Buy because of your excellent appliances. I placed the order by internet, my son received it in FL even before the date it was supposed to arrived. He sent it to me, it was very easy. Love my cooktop!

This stovetop works great. It boils water super fast. I was oringally concerned about it being touch screen and littles accidentally turning it on, but it has a lock feature and it's not been a problem yet.

Side note: Best Buy north Lakeland has the best manager around. He corrected an error that occurred when I originally ordered a different model the week after thanksgiving and for unknown reasons it was never delivered. I had received an email and phone call the day before confirming delivery, but the day of delivery my stove top never arrived. After multiple calls I was finally told it was all of a sudden "backordered". We checked prior to ordering and it was not back ordered. I was told I wouldn't have the stovetop till after the new year. The manager found this one and got it to my house a week later and I had one before Christmas. I called the Best Buy 800 number and there solution was oh well, there is nothing we can do and you'll have to wait. I went back to the store and the manager found this one (one of the few not back ordered). I was concerned about the touch screen feature but he did research and told me about the functions and lock feature. Thank you Brandon for fixing a problem that even corporate refused to correct when it was their fault.

I like the cooktop. I love that I can lock it. However I have a hard time getting it to turn on if there’s any moisture on the stove. It also will turn off easily and your not aware it turned off and dinner is now 30 minutes longer to cook. I would definitely go back to a cooktop with knobs over digital

Works well just wish there was a way to turn off the annoying sound it makes when turning on and when adjusting temperature.

BestBuy decided to ship an open box, had finger smudges on the surface but it didn't appear to have been installed previously.

Decided to keep it after checking full functionality. This unit is replacing an old GE Profile series cooktop, and fits precisely into the existing cutout. Works as good as the old one. The only complain is that the legend on the controls are hard to read.

Do not like that there is only one large burner. Also fo not like the placement of the burners, but the Best Buy team came out and talks you into going with the same brand for size and guaranteed fit. Only 2 choices .. not thrilled .. but it works ok.

Very easy to use. Heats up fast. Clean, neat lines. I am still learning how to adjust the temperature settings.

It is working well. I recommend the good people at Best Buy in Smyrna. They spent a lot fo time with me to find what I needed.

Picked this up to replace an old coil top. The install was easy enough and daily care is a breeze. With several meals created this was a huge upgrade and has been a huge hit at home.

This is my first induction cooktop. I’m still learning all the features, so it’s a little hard to give a solid rating. I do like that your pans heat up faster.

Great cooktop. Worth the money. Ease of use is not always there but great when you have kids.

Like the product I purchased, a 30” Whirlpool Induction Rangetop, but customer service was lacking. Kept getting conflicting information every time I tried to confirm what I’d been told previously.

I am very happy with my day induction stove top. Cooks great clean great

like it far, works very well, battery life seems to be acceptable to far, need to get the pen for it though.... and a decent case

To be honest, I purchased this last year so this is the 1 week after 1 year review...

Functionality, overall very good, the rear mid burner is STRONG. great for quick boil and large pans. The wireless is of zero use, does not control anything on the stove at all.

Big gripe... the knobs. A pain to clean around, too close together, should be something magnetic or easily removable AND most important, be made of metal, not just look as if they are. DO NOT PLACE A WARM POT ON TOP OF THESE KNOBS to get away from heat or make space. they MELT and they cost close to $100. each from Samsung. that's $500 for a set of 5 on a $1000. stove. Mine was out of warranty by 3 days and they would not even discuss it.

So really, the biggest grip is Samsung themselves, they are not the easiest company to deal with though their products are overall quite good. Their support is severely lacking and their opportunistic extortion is unforgivable.

Might not seem like an issue... stove knobs. Who knew! I'm sick about it and deciding whether to buy anything Samsung ever again. (which is a fair bit)

Great value! Easy to install and keep clean. Yo will love this cooktop.

Overall a clean, sharp stovetop. I am starting to be not very impressed with their help center!!

Purchased this back in July, can not do something as simple as boil a pot of water. We have reached out to Samsung for help over a dozen times to try to trouble shoot the issue.

Had a service tech come out, says the elements are heating properly and told us it was our pans. We bought two different sets of pans trying to resolve the issue, with no luck. Tried both aluminum core pots and solid aluminum pots per the recommendation in the users manual still with no luck.

Reached back out to both Best Buy and Samsung to try and get a refund, Best Buy says we need a RE number from Samsung in order to get a refund. Samsung refuses to issue us the RE number saying it is a service based warranty and they need to have another service call. Service call was set up, we where told after 1:00 pm that they would be out between 6:00-7:00 that night. We asked to reschedule for the next day and a service call was cancelled.

Extremely unhappy with both Best Buys return policy and Samsung's customer service.

Bought the samsung cooktop for our new home. So far I have really enjoyed it. It heats up very quickly. Fairly easy to keep clean. I do worry about scratching the surface so I am extra careful when cooking. Otherwise this is a great product.

This is a nice little cooktop. I have been using this on a daily basis for over a month now. Installation went ok - I had some contractors install it since they were doing the kitchen. It worked with existing wiring. The cooktop is made of very delicate glass so the top is prone to scratches and damange if you are not careful. So far we are doing fine but we are being very careful. We have not tested any cooktop cleaners but plan to do that soon. Hoping that some of the shine will come back and the stains will be minimized. We have had no issues with the burners and knobs. They are all working very well.

The hotness indicator could be more efficient. The light is barely visible and it goes off inspite of the top being still hot to the touch.

Overall at this price point, the cooktop is a good value as long as you maintain it.

best cooktop ever, heats up fast and cleans way easier than any of the other brand i had before, great value for your dollar.

I picked this model so that my large pans would fit. Range heats quickly The only problem is keeping the look clean and shiny.

Cooktop works very well, it is a little high maintenance because of the glass so it needs to be cleaned after each use to keep from staining.

The installer arrived at the scheduled time. The job was done quickly and efficiently. The installer took the old cooktop with him.

Its been so far a great cooktop, easy to clean and maintain.

I bought this cooktop to replace an aging GE unit. Initially I bought a Whirlpool on sale but could not fit in the hole. I learned that Samsung is a dimensionally equivalent unit and it did fit properly.

Love it so far. Have used a dozen times. It's in our summer home. Fits perfectly.

Nice cooktop. The pan sizes are good and i like the "lock" feature so it can't mistakenly be turned on by accidental touch. The sensitivity to turn it up and down with your finger could be a little better but overall no real complaints.

Samsung Ceramic Glass Cooktop replaced a 35 yr old JennAir coil unit. The new cooktop is beautiful and pretty easy to clean with cooktop polish. I really like the digital controls but they don't always respond on first touch. However the magnet dial is not very useful (as others have said the temp setting jumps around strangely when using the magnetic knob). I don't understand why each burner goes from 1 to 15. So if you want the burner at 60% power, you have to do some mental math to know that's level 9. Using a 1-10 or 1-20 scale would be much easier.

The flat glass cooktop is slow to heat up. I know this is likely true with all glass cooktops, but it takes some getting used to vs. the older coil burners. So I have tended to turn up the temp too high while waiting, and then end up burning the food easily. You have to adjust and be patient for the surface to heat the pan. I am still adjusting after 1.5 months. It will come.

The timer is so quiet, you can barely hear it when standing right at the cooktop. So it's pretty much useless, but that's a minor flaw. The digital controls work well, but not always on the first touch. It takes some getting used to as well, and a setting scale of 1-15 is just plain odd.

The wifi feature is truly useless on this cooktop. You can set the timer and view if each burner is on or off, but that's it there is no way to control the cooktop burners. Even if you are really concerned you left on the cooktop burner, and you've left the house, you can't do anything about it remotely. I see no purpose in the wifi feature, and seems to have been included as a gimic to make it seem more modern and cool. Truely useless.

Happy with the stove top so far. Getting used to the touch surface instead of knobs. have to learn not to try to wipe the surface when cooking. It's easy to turn off the elements.

So far so good ive owned this stove top for six months i can saw it require alot of cleaning though.

What a great looking clean flat top to use on a dark counter top. Will be making sure my wife and girl friend takes turn on making me breakfast...mom can cook dinner.

The quality overall is great but it makes rainbow colors stains on the glass which won’t go away with cleaning!

High end look at a great price. The magnetic knob is nice.

After 1 time normal reasonable use, the surface bubbled up in spots around the burner. After following proper cleaning instructions, the spots did not come out. My 20 year old former cooktop was in better shape than this one after 1 use.

This cooktop has a nice range of heating choices that will accommodate various sizes of cookware. It heats quickly.

Bought this to replace a 20 year old KitchenAid glass cooktop (36"). I would have thought it would be an exact fit, but it was not. This was just 1/4" too large to drop in to our granite counter opening.

The glass also shows smudges and is harder to clean than our old model, and it is harder to see the size of the cooking elements to determine which one to use.

This KitchenAid stove top looks gorgeous and cooks well. The extra SS trim definitely adds a dramatic flair.

Be aware that the cutout dimension is slightly larger than for GE stovetops. I had the joy of cutting corian counter top. Not difficult, but incredibly messy!

Wiring was a snap. Other than the countertop cutout, the removal and installation process was less than an hour.

The differentiation between the coil areas and the remainder of the cooktop is not as dramatic as the photo or in the store. Plan on having a well lit cooking area in order to easily see the coils. I upgraded my hood lighting and added a directional celing light.

I truly like the stovetop.

I would have given this a 5 star, except it takes too long for the elements to heat up. When they do, they work great.

The cooktop is great in every way, but two. The first thing that annoys me is the electrical hum it makes while on. The second is the seal tape provided by the manufacturer is a joke. The important part is that it cooks well.

It is very responsive. We like the optional knob which can be moved away when not in use which leaves the hob clear. The hob surface looks substantial and layout flexible. The virtual flame lets you know the heat is on under your pot.

Prior to purchase I reviewed every option available in the US, and chose this unit for its features at a competitive price:

I’ve had this unit for almost a year now. The features on this piece are a great, the flex zone, the power boost, and melt mode. But if anybody is like me, you tend to make a little bit of a mess when you’re cooking, or a lot. For example if you’re boiling something and you pick up the lid to check and any condensation runs down off of the lid and drips onto the touch pad, it can activate a touch button or two or more, and then unit will shut itself off. It treats the liquid across the buttons as a fault and automatically shuts off the burners. So if you’re cooking more than one thing at varying temperatures, for example, you have to know where you left off because it just cleared all the settings you had. And if it doesn’t shut off, the water droplets can actually change the sitting on the keypad. So if you have it set at seven for example, and you pick up the lid and it drips onto the keypad somewhere, picking up the temperature or lower the temperature so changing from 7 to 12 or 4. I called Samsung to treat this as a warranty issue. They sent somebody out and replaced the board. It does the exact same thing. The technician took a video and send it to Samsung and said that’s just the way it works. I can re-create this problem anytime and every time. It is very frustrating to be in the middle of cooking and because you dropped condensation across the keypad it can completely shuts everything off. It seems to be almost too smart for Its own good and there’s no fix for it. Also the timer on the front is almost useless. The volume is so low you don’t even know when it went off. The picture attached is the air code that you would get during a “multi-button touch fault”.

Also, the “Child lock” feature can be overridden by same method. If you lock the buttons, just put a few drops of water on the touchpad and viola, the “Safety” lock has been turned off. Again, i showed the tech representing Samsung, “nothing they can do about it”.

I can trigger this fault by fluid on the pad, a finger that touches more than one button at a time, a metal utensil/object across multiple buttons. I trigger the fault everyone I clean it. It is way too sensitive for my liking. In the middle of Thanksgiving, multiple burners going, and to check my smashed-taters, condensation drips on the pad and shuts off the gravy on one burner, the green beans on another and the simmering honey butter. To turn the stove back on, you have to completely clean the touchpad. No other button will work if faulted. Whole lotta fancy for something like this to get by QC. Not cool Samsung.

I've owned induction cooktops in the past. This one is very easy to use. I like the virtual flame feature. And, the registration of the pots is immediate. The movable/optional knob is interesting, but overall very smooth in its use. It feels like a mechanical knob.

Can’t recommend this cooktop. Out of the box worked two days then would not turn on. Took 3 weeks for warranty repair. Once repair completed cooktop worked for two days and then again would not turn on. When it did work the knob was sketchy and doesn’t control temp well. Using finger is awkward and inconsistent. Have waited another 3 weeks for warranty repair service call. Repairman did not show up. Just a poor experience all around. Buy something else.

Beautiful Samsung cook top very attractive. High tech cooking at its finest. If you haven't used an induction burner you need to try it. It will change the way you cook. Takes a little time to get used to but you will love it. Definitely recommend!!!
