    Spin Cycle

Love this new bike! This is exactly what I wanted for spinning with YouTube videos. Easy to assemble too, took like 30 min. Highly recommend this bike.

A great spin bike for the money.

The IC3 is a great spin bike for the money. I wanted a simple, sound bike for fitness without the bells and whistles of a Peloton or with monthly subscriptions. I work out with my wife using her elliptical and we sometime switch machines. Schwinn is a long standing name in the business and I feel I made the right choice. It comes in a very compact box so be prepared to do some assembly. Remember that the left pedal has revers threads when assembling.

    Great purchase

Great bike! Sturdy, smooth ride, super easy to assemble (actually my 10 year old son did it for me!). Super substitute for my spinning studio which closed due to Covid. It arrived promptly, Best Buy delivery was handled impeccably.

    Amazing bike!

Really great bike! At first I was hesitant to get this bike since there were so many reviews saying it was very loud. It’s not loud at all. I use it while my toddler naps and it’s very quiet! The only sound it makes is the sound of a very quiet fan. I use it along with Apple fitness and it works perfectly with the cycling classes! I would absolutely recommend it!

It took about two hours to assemble.

    Great in every which way!

Works really nicely, definitely a good deal. The only issue is the resistance adjustment, sometimes you need to turn the knob slowly to avoid squeaking while pedaling. But it is a minor issue, otherwise it’s very quiet, comfortable (although we bought a new saddle for it), and easily adjusted. It’s also really easy to move around, you just stand in front of it and push the handles directly downward, and it can be moved like a dolly.

Great Bike Not So Great Seat

Just received this bike yesterday and my husband put it together in about an hour. He tried it out immediately. He found it to be sturdy, quiet and pedaling was very smooth and it takes up very little floor space. It is also very easy to move from one place to the other. We both were impressed with the overall quality but both agreed we needed to order a different seat. The seat was like sitting on the narrow edge of a 2 x 4 plank. Schwinn has a comfort seat but there is a 3-4 week wait time for shipping. We shopped elsewhere for a seat. We would recommend buying this bike.

    Good bike alternative

I’ve had this spin bike for about a month and I absolutely love it! I have researched other spin bikes and the prices and contemplated which one to buy. This one is really basic one. I already have an iPad and use the peleton app which saved me lots of money if I were to get the actual Peleton bike or another brand with a screen. This bike has the same functions but w/o the fancy screen. Saved me hundred of dollars . Assembly was easy and straightforward and was done by my 17 year old nephew. It’s sturdy and does the job.

    Awesome bike

Phenomenal exercise bike. Well built and extremely sturdy. A great purchase for better overall health. This is a beginner bike for anyone looking for stationary bicycle. Only con the bike seat is uncomfortable, and either needs a cover or needs to be replaced. Pro is easy to assemble.

Pleasantly surprised with the quality. I originally purchased this as a temporary flooring for my garage gym, but after assembling it I've decided to just continue using this. Two of these can cover roughly 3/4 of my two car garage, which worked out perfect for my setup. Would recommend for the value.

These do the job. I’m using them for an indoor gym and they’re thick enough for me to drop dumbbells on them and not damage my floor and they offer decent cushioning. The only thing that I’m not stoked about is one of the edges is missing, but I just hid that piece under my bench.

    nice big, clear, durable mat

Really nice quality mat. From the dimensions provided I knew it would easily fit my exercise bike. I imagine it has is big enough to fit all exercise bikes and most treadmills.

I picked this because of the size and the color. The clear isn't transparent and kind of reflects the lights which makes a nifty reflection effect. Nothing distracting and better than black and having to worry about potential stains.

Came well packed. Rolled it out and put heavy objects on the corners for a few days to flatten it out. No issues with it. Don't recall any outgassing so if there were any, they are long gone. Highly recommended!

    Mat for NordicTrack Bikes

Took a while to get this delivered. I purchased this along with my NordicTrack bike on the same date online. The bike was delivered as promised 2 days later, the mat was supposed to be delivered the next day. Even though the tracking on Best Buy's website stated it was shipped, it did not arrive until 10 days later, after I had to take 40 mins of time with Best Buy's customer service on the phone. This was a bummer, because I really hated using my bike while it was sitting directly on the carpet. This mat provides the necessary protection for my carpeting, and I like the fact that it's transparent.

    Great Mat!

This is the perfect treadmill mat. I love that it is clear and not black. Goes well on the carpet in basement. I didn’t want a black mat over a nice, new, fluffy carpet. This is sturdy and looks stylish. Definitely made by a company that understands how heavy the treadmills are.

    Just right

This mat was exactly what I needed for my basement carpet. the perfect size to sit under my new Proform T7 treadmill. I simply unrolled the mat and positioned it as needed. The inner fold does take quite a bit of time to relax and lay flat but not a surprise since it does rolled tightly. Can lose with this one.

    Perfect for Water Rower

Mat came packaged well and in excellent condition. The Mat keeps clean despite being black. I used to place my water rower on top and the mat is long enough and gives a nice look to the corner where i placed it. Note to others, this is not intended for office mat. if you roll in your chair on top, it will leave prints and the chair will be hard to move. However; it is perfect for exercise equipment.

Exercise Mat good value for the money

Using this as a 2nd layer level of protection for our basement carpeting. We have another mat underneath this one but found one alone wasn't sufficient to mitigate dents/depressions in the carpet underneath the treadmill. When comparing mats and various pricing.... we found this one to be a good value for the money. Gave this one a 4 (good value) rather than a 5 because while it hasn't torn... we can tell by the other one we have underneath it (the same brand/size) that it can easily tear.

    Bike the World

I love this recumbent bike because it is stable, very quiet, and very comfortable. The seat is wide and comfy. I don’t worry about not having a screen for cycling programs, because I can use my IPhone with Apple TV to mirror APPs on my phone to a blog screen TV in front of my bike. I mirror the APP, “Explore the World,” to my TV, which gives me beautiful trails to see from all over the world as I peddle away. I paid $200 for Best Buy to put the bike together and it was worth it, because there were a lot of pieces. I highly recommend this recumbent bike!!

    Great bike!

I am going to need knee surgery and was told a recumbent bike would be a good idea to build up muscle strength prior to and following knee surgery. Because you are sitting back in a chair-like seat, it doesn't stress the knees as much as sitting over on top of a bicycle seat would. The many features of the Nautilus are amazing. The seat is comfortable. The workouts are great, allowing you to make them less or more intense to your preference. This bike also had great reviews. The wheels allow you to move it without too much trouble. I had the Geek Squad come set it up, and they were on time and great!

    Received in perfect condition

I order large heavy items from Best Buy because the price is the same as other retailers and I know the item will be delivered without damage. It took my grandson about 40 minutes to assemble, the instructions were very clear and it was a great investment. I’m 69 years old, 5ft tall so the bike does fit people on the shorter side. I expect this will last for years.

    Very disappointed with the bike.

I loved the Best Buy online shopping experience and on time delivery.

I was very fortunate that the bike was available and majorly disappointed by the fact that one of the mounting screws for console was stripped. This screw could not be removed to mount the console leaving me with an unusable bike.

The bike was to be a major part of my rehab program as I recover from hip replacement surgery.

I'm hoping that Nautilus will make this right in a very prompt manner.

Great exercise bike for the money!

This is a great exercise bike from a quality company! We waited a while for this to be back in stock for a reasonable price during our COVID-19 times. Had a couple of minor issues after assembly. Nautilus customer service was fantastic and addressed the issues immediately. Best Buy delivery was great. We had read horrible stories from other companies about damages to the delivered bikes. That's one of the reasons why we bought from Best Buy! No delivery issues!

    Nice!

Seems well built and is quiet. Son put it together in about a hour and said it was fairly easy and straight forward. Works well and I have been using it 4-5 times a week. Pedaling is smooth and seat is comfortable. Fan works well and is a nice feature.

A nice replacement instead of gym membership. Only downside of it is the speakers are not good quality and almost useless. I connect Bluetooth speaker or earbuds to listen to music. The screen could be more informative and interactive. Nice addition to be able to hook up phone and has charging capabilities, but would be nice to have expanded bluetooth capabilities. Bluetooth only works to connect into app. which is useful. Another idea might be to add arm rests that fold up and then it would be very comparable to a commercial unit at an affordable price.

What can you say about an exercise mat? I'm using this under my recumbent bike, also purchased at Best Buy. This mat was the best price and the right size for the bike. Can't go wrong.

    Love this thing.

Whisper quiet and syncs with Explore the World app, which is fun. I’m going to get an Oculus Quest and ride with VZFit on Google street maps so the motivation to explore helps the motivation to exercise. But even if you don’t want to get into all that, it’s a great bike.

A cup holder for your water and a place to connect you phone or tablet. Bluetooth ready. You can’t beat this bike. Excellent quality and low price. Stop looking and grab this bike. I ride for an hour watching Netflix:)

    Great Exercise Bike

I am really glad I purchased this exercise bike. I paid the extra fee for assembly and was happy with the service. The bike is sturdy, easy to use, and presents many opportunities for challenging levels and programs. I have had back surgery and the adjustable recumbent position prevents back pain. I placed it in my den/TV room so I can easily watch TV while cycling. Also I like to use the small shelf to place a book or pod cast video while on the bike. My gym closed permanently due to the pandemic so this allows me to keep fit conveniently at home. The only negative is the heart rate tracker doesn't really pick up. Overall very happy with this bike!

This does not have an app nor is it a current mode

I bought this Exercise bike not too long ago and gave it a good couple weeks of use. The app it claimed to have, that connected it with other health/fitness apps no longer exist. The secondary app which is supposed to allow you to update the firmware of the unit doesn’t even recognize this machine. My iPhone and other devices do not find any Bluetooth broadcast from this unit either. While, i think its a pretty well made product for the price and easy to use for simple work outs; Be aware this unit is a 2016 model, and does not do all the interactive things it claims. Lastly, the heart-rate monitor grips are a little low and awkward, and are definitely inaccurate. Just be aware. Its not a piece of junk, but it does have flaws. If you live in or near Brentwood, Ca , you can get the unit i returned in mint condition at an open box price. Already assembled, by yours truly!

No Need to Buy the Fancy, Expensive Bikes

One thing I've found is that most fitness equipment sellers are increasing their prices by 25 percent and more because so many people are setting up home gyms. That's disgusting. So I was happy to find this Schwinn recumbent at it's pre-coronavirus price. I read a bunch of reviews, many of which gave glowing reviews of the Schwinn, even among the bikes costing twice as much. I've now had the bike for 4 weeks and I'm impressed with its smoothness and it quality. It's feels like the bike I used at my gym.

    GREAT recumbent bike!

I bought this for my wife in anticipation of winter coming and her not being able to do her usual 5 mile walk due to ice and snow. I put it together myself, which was fairly easy. We're now having a little trouble understanding the programming --- we may consider scheduling a appointment with a member of the Geek Squad if we don't get this figured out. The user's manual, that can be found on-line, is not very clear and almost seems to be missing information. My wife is riding it, without any programming, and she seems very happy. She says it's comfortable and the seat adjustment accommodates her long legs.

    Great Bike for the Price

Best Buy had this bike on a 1 day flash sale for $800. At that price it was a no brainer. The C7 is very similar to a Bowflex C6 or Schwinn IC4 but with a screen attached for streaming and some modifications to the handle bars. Seat and handle bars are fully adjustable up/down and front/back. Pedals are cage on one side and SPD Clipless on the other side. Also they are a standard pedal thread so get any pedals you want. Installation also very simple. Bike comes mostly assembled. Just install seat, seat post, pedals, weight/bottle holder, handlebars, screen and lower stabilizer feet. All the major mechanicals of the bike are already assembled. 30 to 60 minutes tops. The box was a little beat up when I got it but the contents were well packaged and nothing damaged inside. I couldn't find any documentation for the JRNY free trial that was supposed to be included. After a quick online chat with bowflex they gave me a code for a free year of the app otherwise it is $150 a year. Bike is very stable. Only complaints are you have to use JRNY app to stream Netflix/Prime, etc. However, I got a year of the app free, $150 a year isn't bad, and I actually like the content on the JRNY app. Also while the bike is compatible with peloton, zwift, and all that the built in screen, which is just a modified android tablet won't allow you to install those apps. You would have to stream to a separate device. But none of these cons takes away from my satisfaction with the bike especially at the price I paid. If you can get this bike under $1000, which is not hard to find at that price, I think it is the best value bike under $1k

    Bike I love to hate!

Yeah, so you know the 'Pandemic 20' was a easy gain for me. Missing the gym, I researched various bikes (you know the one), and this was the clear winner.

I'm not a 'diehard cyclist' but enjoy getting out on my bike when I can. For the price this can't be beat. There are other models with 'bells and whistles' but this has all the features I need to track my progress and challenge me. Solid, seems well-built and yes I would recommend to my friends.

This bike has all the features you would want as well as some extras that make it even better. The seat and handle adjust up and down as well as forward and back making it super comfortable. I also have a hard time finding comfy bike seats and despite this one looking uncomfortable it is very comfortable. The only thing I dislike is it’s a pain to log in to your profile each time.

    Good Luck...

The 2 stars is a very graceful offering. The delivery from BB was great. The equipment is as advertised. Solid frame. The software is garbage!!! From the moment I powered on the screen, there has been nothing but software updates and error messages. I contacted Bowflex the day after assembly and received a generic "Thanks for contacting us...we're working hard to resolve your issue..." message, but have heard nothing since. The most frustrating thing is that email is the only way to resolve the issue. I did contact customer service by phone, but was referred to the support link on the bike's monster. Very disappointed in that I own the Treadmill 10. Will be returning this bike this weekend.

    Best Investment During Covid

I did a lot of research before purchasing this exercise bike. Decided on this bike because I can use it with Peloton or Apple Fitness Apps. using my phone or tablet. It has lots of great features that other bikes don't have. Even comes with a heartrate band that is linked to the bike's bluetooth. I've used it a few times but use my apple watch instead. The resistance levels are awesome. I thought I was going to have to change the seat to a more comfortable seat, however the seat is very comfortable after a couple rides, I was used to it. Best Buy was out of stock so I kept checking back every day until they had more in stock. The delivery was excellent. I've lost 10 pounds already. I LOVE this bike.

    Great alternative to peloton

I chose this bike as a cheaper alternative to peloton. I loved the design, magnetic wheel, and that it came with weights. I also wanted a bike to hold my tablet so instead of relying on peloton’s tech, I had my own that I could use with their membership or any other’s for that matter.

I was able to put the bike together by myself in about an hour or so, instructions were easy to follow and they already had the screws in the places they needed to be which saved so much time. The design isn’t flawless as I had issues with being able to tighten the handlebar lever because the bottle holder piece was in the way. I won’t be able to adjust the handlebars forward and backward, but I can at least adjust the seat.

The bike came with spd cleats which I was really happy to see. They worked perfectly on my new cycling shoes. I’ve done about 5 rides and it’s very quiet and the seat is comfortable. Peloton is definitely the smoother ride, there feels like a bit of resistance even when you’re on zero for the Schwinn, but for the price, I would purchase this bike again.

    So happy with my purchase!

After driving myself crazy researching on what bikes to get, I finally decided on the IC4. I was so excited to get this bike that I put it together the very minute it got in the house. I changed the pedals out so I could use my spin shoes and off I went. The bike is so quiet and sturdy. I’m able to ride in or out of the saddle. The iPad/tablet holder is great if I want to do a spin class on YouTube, Peloton or use Explore the World. The only thing I had trouble with is getting used to the tension. It isn’t the same as the bike I'm used to at the spin studio, but that’s ok. I’ll get used to it. It isn’t a deal breaker for me.

As far as assembly, I did have trouble with the handlebars since I wasn’t able to get the knob to rotate completely. I can’t quite explain it, but just check out assembly videos on YouTube and some people mention it. :) The assembly for the bike took me a little over an hour.

I think for the price you can’t beat it!

My wife previously had a Peloton bike and I think this bike is actually better for shorter riders. You can adjust the handle bars and seat forward and backwards which you couldn’t do on the Peloton. The bike also has a better warranty than the Peloton. You also save a lot on the Peloton app because it’s only $12.99, you don’t have live classes but my wife is fine with that. You also get to see your cadence on a Ipad without having to add anything. The bike is very quite and my wife is very happy.

    So far...great!

I took my time and put it together, and it’s been good. I haven’t had any issues. I did an uphill ride with resistance in the 50s mostly for an hour. You can use any compatible app or program and there are many. I’ve only had it for a couple of weeks. I brought it from Best Buy because of the negative reviews in dealing with the company and it would have taken longer if something happens. I also wanted BB’s 5 year warranty because I don’t want to have to deal with the company when BB is closer. Plus their warranty is great!

    Great bike

I wanted to upgrade my felt pad spin bike but didn’t want to go with one of the bikes with a screen. This is one of the best options on the market in my opinion. It has connectivity with a few different apps and is a solid bike! I love being able to see my resistance, speed and miles ridden. I don’t love the read out for cadence but I am usually connected to an app so I am able to use that to see my cadence. Otherwise I’m super happy I went with this one and through Best Buy, you can’t beat their delivery protocols over fedex or ups beating my bike up and just leaving it on the porch.

    Challenging workouts

I got this bike for a discounted price in exchange for my honest feedback of the product. When it arrived, it took me no time at all to assemble. The Norditrack S22i bike is easy to adjust to fit my height and my wives. We did purchase a larger seat because the traditional thin bike seat was not comfortable for longer workouts. Without joining Ifit I was still able to do challenging workouts from the Ifit trainers as well as self directed workouts. The incline and decline changes paired with the resistance changes during the workouts make for a more enjoyable and more realistic workout.

Ahhhmazing! This bike is such great quality! I had previously purchased a "cheap" bike on Amazon and got rid of it pretty quickly because it was terrible. This bike fits the bill all around. It was so easy to assemble and the iFit was easy to link my account. The only complaint I have was the seat being so narrow. I have ordered a replacement to fit my butt better. My whole family has joined in and we are getting healthier at home because of this bike! I was given this product for a reduced price in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.

I wanted this bike for a while but it took some time to convince myself. I'm so glad to have gotten it. The bike is beautiful and heavy duty. No concerns here about quality. I did receive this bike in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion. It is definitely worth the money due to the high quality. I did change the seat to something that fit my seat bones more comfortably.

    Rides Smoothly

This bike was easy to put together. It has a really nice screen and the bike rides very smoothly. It also comes with weights as an added feature that I didn’t see with other bikes I looked at. I find the bike to be user friendly. I find the seat to be very comfortable also.

*** I received discounted product in exchange for my honest feedback.

    Best workout machine, by far!

This has been by far my favorite at home exercise purchase! It was easy to assemble and even easier to get the workout in! I was a little skeptical about the on screen workouts and the scenic rides but I found myself liking them way more than I thought! If you on on the fence, give it a try I for one am glad I did!

    Works great.

This bike is exactly what I was looking for. It has a few preprogrammed workouts you can use or you can set up your own. You don't have to manually change the resistance like on other workout bikes. I am also able to change the amount of time I want for my workout. This one does not have a TV but I wasn't looking for anything like that. I either listen to my audio book or ipod.

    Nice bike, good value

Just arrived yesterday. Was very easy to build 95% by myself. I did need help just to hold the console mast up while I clicked the cables together. One nice feature is that you can save 4 users names on the bike. Not sure if the heart rate feature is working. Overall am pleased and would recommend.

    Suitable indoor bike.

I have never purchased large exercise equipment. Overall this bike could use some work for the price. The biggest downside by far are the seat tightening bolts that do not have enough room for adjustment without scratching the frame with the tool. Shipping could have been handled better as well as some parts arrived scratched/dented. Might consider a different bike when/if this one needs replacing.

    Just the ticket!

We've had this bike for about 3 weeks now, and have used (between 2 of us, my wife and me) about a dozen times. It is a solid performer so far. We have really not explored many of the electronic options, other than the basics--time, distance, and resistance level. But, we really weren't looking for something complicated, rather we just wanted a sturdy, reliable exercise bike--and this fits that bill nicely. The bike seems very well built and we hope will last us for a long time. The only negative thing I can think of is I wish there was a battery option to power the control panel as the cord at the base of the bike seems awkward.

Great bike. Quiet, smooth, not overtly tech.

Did my research. Wanted quiet, high quality performance exercise bike where I have the option to keep my back straight. Have had the bike less than a month and see noticeable improvement in my fitness level.

Love Best Buy's Geek Squad service. Covid protocol on point.

Also, dealing with Best Buy's Customer Service easy and hassle free. The first delivered bike had a small factory flaw and Best Buy facilitated a replacement asap.

    So far so good!

So far so good! I'm 6' 2'' and the seat adjusts perfect to my height and goes even higher. The seat is actually really comfortable and the magnetic resistance is tough enough to make me feel like I'm pedaling on a steep hill. I have not exploited all the bells and whistles yet but used it only in quick start. It has a deck to put your ipad on in case you don't want to see the blue light of the panel.

I did some research on bikes prior to deciding and found that this one comes with everything I need (comfortable seat, height, programs and strong magnetic resistance). I assemble it myself and it was and average effort. I would definitely recommend it.

    Great home exercise bike

Bought this bike to use when the weather gets cold to continue a good workout. Bike has far exceeded my expectations. I did not want a bike that I had to pay a subscription to use. We have four family members setup to use and track distance, heart rate, and calories. Love the adjustable seat. Very happy with this purchase.

    Echelon Ex-5s 2nd place only to a $2500 peloton

The Echelon Ex-5s has been a great purchase for my wife and I. Setup took about 45 minutes to an hour. We have owned It for about a month and we are both nearing 15 rides.

    Comfort- 8

We've never owned an excercise bike before but it seems to be very comfortable in the saddle. The seat is wide in the bike and once you get over the initial soreness of riding the first 4 or 5 times it is very comfortable. There are very many adjustments, you are able to adjust every thing including the handlebar distance from seat.

    Flywheel-8

The flywheel is heavy and is great for experiencing that true spin class feel. It's also very QUIET when it's in use the bike makes nearly no sound and you hear a slight humming when you increase or decrease resistance for 1-2 seconds. Also the PEDALS accept SPD clips but also has toe cages. The toe cages are perfect for letting friends try it out and for ease of use.

    Classes-8

I've never used the peloton classes but I've watched some of their videos and I think they are slightly better with echelon being in second place. The LIVE CLASSES really help you set a time to work out and the isntructors are great at keeping you engaged and motivated. The MUSIC was apparently sub par before but I've enjoyed every playlist. The SCENIC classes are just thrown on there. I feel like Pro-Form has better scenic rides from what I've seen.

    Looks-10

We love the look of this bike and we feel like that is important. Especially since you have to look at it setting in a room all the time.

    Screen-8

The screen is always responsive and has minimal glare. The SOUND is okay coming out of the speakers. It's good enough that we don't use earbuds but it does have BLUETOOTH. The screen flips over entirely for the workout portions if you want to do those.

IN CLOSING: This is a great purchase if you aren't wanting to spend the $2500 for a peloton. They both require you to pay $39/mth so it's a wash on the subscription. We were able to get this bike for $999 through a geek squad promotion but we were willing to pay the $1499 and I probably still would have. The bike is very stable and the live classes make me stay motivated as well as the leaderboard and unlocking badges for accomplishments.

    Great alternative to Peloton!

Had the top of the line EX5-S bike about a week now and really enjoying the ride!

    Pro's (there are many):

-Many adjustment points to get the most comfortable riding position.

-Shoes straps so you don't have to buy clip in shoes if you prefer to use sneakers

-Bike is HEAVY and feels solid, stay planted even on carpet

-Live classes are a great motivator and there's something for all skill levels

-The included 21" touchscreen tablet is a big plus - it's bright, and the speakers sound good.

-The Echelon Fit app, as far as I can tell, seems to offer all the same features as Peloton.

    Con's (not deal breakers):

-Add more fields to app profile so multiple riders can record their bike adjustment settings

-There is no way to turn off the bike - you have to unplug it

-App still seems a little glitchy (freezes a lot) but they are constantly pushing updates

    -Allow Apple Watch connectivity

-Bluetooth is just plug and play, but would be nice to expose the pairing function for more control

Bottom Line: If you want the Peloton experience for 40% less, buy this bike.

    Yes for me

So this is tricky to answer but my overall recommendation is that it's great. The build quality is high, this thing is heavy and solid. No issues there. The screen that it comes with is also large. This helps with viewing the classes. The echelon services has received some mixed reviews but I really like them. The bike instructors are great. And you don't have to subscribe to the $39/mo service if you don't want the live classes. I personally like the pre-recorded ones. These are the live ones, but a day late. The service for that is $12/mo. If you get the $39 plan, it does come with other classes such as pilates, yoga, etc. Those I find other programs have better quality classes but it is nice to have just one plan that includes all.

If you're not a cyclist, know that the seat is a cycling seat. In other words, not super comfy. If you want to sit back and pedal, this is not the bike for you. Also the pedals can be strapped on, or you can clip cycling shoes on them.

The installation was super easy. I do recommend doing it with two people since some of the parts are very heavy.

    Hope this helps

    Cheapest setup to ZWIFT

My review is entirely focused on how you can start Zwifting on this dirt cheap bike.

It connects seamlessly through the POWER Channel of Zwift and transmits Cadence and Power. Start a manual workout to connect it to your Zwift device.

The resistance changes are calibrated to push up the power numbers om Zwift. I have hit a top Power of around 620W on this bike.

After first 2-3 days the seat isn't a problem either. I can sustain 60-90 minute sessions easily.

For a context, the cheapest trainer would cost you about 600$ and you would still need to have your own bike and cadence sensors.

    Great For Casual Rider

If you want to assemble this yourself, bring a friend. The vertical mount for the console / handlebars is challenging by one's self. Also, the handle bars require being held in position as you use both hands to screw them into place. 100% doable with a buddy.

This bike is fantastic and I have used it for nearly two months now. I wanted a challenge I could feel, and I do. The console is easy to use and you can adjust the resistance as you actively ride. I have not used the Bluetooth feature yet and am not entirely sure of its point.

I watch Netflix or Disney + while riding and this bike is virtually silent. Physics is a thing so the pedaling makes a slight sound but nothing your brain cannot tune out. Noise was the second most important thing for me and I would have returned it if I had to blast the TV to hear over the bike like my old fan one.

Best Buy delivered the box to my home and offered to drop it off were I wanted it. Due to COVID-19 I asked them to just leave it in the foyer. They wore mask, stayed distanced away, and were incredibly kind.

I would recommend this bike to any friend looking for a healthier way to live.

Great bike, durable as you would expect in a gym

Building this bike did not require much effort, can easily be done with one person. Lowering the stars because the seat is not the most comfortable, will be looking for an alternative seat or a cover. Have been using an old pillow in the meanwhile. The pedaling is smooth, great presets for many types of exercises, personally use the bike for HIIT. The resistance can get very high. The lcd screen does not light up though and have had trouble connecting the device to Schwinn app via bluetooth which is a bummer but will be troubleshooting with customer service soon.

    Not impressed!

Bought this stationary bike to replace an older Schwinn model of comparable cost. Have to say that the older model was so much better. One thing that I didn't think I had to check when purchasing the bike was whether or not the seat was adjustable. The seat on this bike is not. It is just a seat on a rod and it cannot be moved up or back to suit the person. And, unfortunately "one size does not fit all" when you compare my body heighth and arm length with my husband's. Also, on day one, after assembling the bike, we realized that it had a tension issue. So we had to immediately have a repair person come out and fix the problem. Hoping that Schwinn will bring back manufacturing of its bikes to the US instead of China! Our older model lasted for years!

Easy to assemble and get to use it quick

Depending on your physical condition you may need a buddy to put it together. But you can assemble it finding some equilibrium to connect the cables while holding the parts against the floor or your chest. It is easier to put this with another person, but if you assume the risk you can assemble it alone.

My only warning is to be careful with the seat, you need to tighten the screws very well to avoid it changing position suddenly. I have good coordination and could get myself out of hazard when the seat switched inclination suddenly a couple of times, but a person with some disability may be harmed. So get this assembled by someone you trust with mechanical things if you don't want to experiment with how to set the seat.

I could not find the bike in the Bluetooth settings on my iPad but the app works so don't worry if you cannot find it in settings, the app will figure out how to connect.

The 16 levels of resistance cover what I am used to in gym static bikes so this is a plus.

On a superficial note, the gadget looks very good, the display is totally low tech, but bright and expected given the price. If you have the tablet/app recommended you won't see the display anyways as the information will be available in the app.

    Great bike

This bike is so quiet! That's the first thing I noticed. I did need to watch a youtube tutorial on how to build it because the directions were a little confusing. I love that there are pre programmed rides in which you can adjust the length and difficulty. The device holder covers the screen but it's not difficult to move your device and look. I wish there was a light on the display but I have a $5 reading light I just clip to it. Not bad price for about 350 + tax (384ish) and I put some furniture pads on the non-wheel side because I move it every time I use it. Love it

    Mat for treadmill

We purchased this mat and another for a treadmill that was not delivered until too late to return either mat.

This mat works quite well and is under a new Nordic Track treadmill. While it protects the carpet, there is an indentation in the carpet under the mat where the treadmill rests (four "feet") after just 48 hours. The mat does considerably lessen the indentation as much of same is in the mat itself.

We have put the second mat, a Nordic Track clear mat, on top of the ProForm mat. I am hoping that both of them do the trick for us. Will only walk on treadmill.

    Super happy with my purchase

I have been wanting to get this bike and finally after I got the TOTAL TECH membership was able to purchase is $600 less with not just 30 days but 1 year membership! They got it assembled for me and ready to just create the account with iFIT. I want to say i got the most recent model it connect with wifi. Donot get worked up because it’s not the latest, products change slightly from 1 to 2 years. One thing I can say is the set up of the iFIT account was confusing for me because I have an iPhone and the bike operates with android. I connected with iFIT customer support and they got back to me the next day helped me figured it out. Now for those reviews that state is not not firm enough is because they didn’t do the assembly the correct way. That’s one reason I got it delivered and assembled.

Very poor customer support. Poor quality.

    1. After not finding a iFit subscription voucher I was told by the customer support desk that the 1-yr iFit subscription included is an error in the website so I will not be getting the subscription.

    2. The left handlebar incline control does not work. Customer service is sending a new switch, but the issue is not the switch since it works when I move it to the right side.

    3. Polar heart rate strap does not automatically pair with bluetooth.

    4. The wait time to speak with someone is at least 1 hour.

    5. I paid for premium repair service, but was told it will take several weeks before someone will come out

Poor service, faulty equipment, I wish someone would just come to pick this bike up and give me a full refund. If BestBuy cares they will do something about this!

    BUYER BEWARE

Nordictrack S15i exercise bike not really impressive at all. During my second workout, left crank arm broke off with the screw coming out. Definitely fixable, but an issue like this 2 rides in is unacceptable. Wouldn't be so much of an issue if there had been a lot of cycling hours. Plastic parts gives this bike a cheap feel, and the resistance-incline/decline buttons are poorly places (on the handlebar). 100 PERCENT returning this bike!!!

Quality equipment. Full experience review below.

Best Buy just began offering this type of equipment, so little information was available at time of purchase. It required much research on my part. This review details my entire experience with tips to help you avoid the problems I encountered. Note: I am new to indoor cycling so my experience may differ significantly from more knowledgeable cyclers. I hope you find this helpful.

Retailer choice: I chose to purchase this item from Best Buy instead of from NordicTrack directly. NT requires a professional delivery and installation service for $250. Best Buy offered free delivery and installation as part of an Independence Day sale.

Delivery and installation: It was easy to arrange a delivery time that fit my schedule. I received courtesy email reminders from Best Buy and a phone call the night before delivery. Two technicians arrived on time. The actual installation experience was interesting. The techs were very polite and friendly; however, they weren't happy about carrying the large box to my basement. It took them only an hour to unpack and assemble. I lost confidence after overhearing them debate the directions. The handles and console were loose and wobbled when I inspected the bike. At first, they tried to convince me this was by design. I pushed them to double-check the directions. Once they fixed the problem, everything functioned correctly.

The Equipment: This cycle is well built. It is heavy and sturdy. Tip: Buy a pad in advance. The cycle will leave marks on your carpet. Try to assemble it exactly where you want it. While the small tires make it easy to move, the weight created permanent indentations in my floor pad below. The cycle is almost silent. I heard a soft swishing sound, but it went away after a few days. The built-in fan is a great feature. It is the only sound you might notice. The cycle is narrow but always feels secure. The video display is crisp, and clear. Colors are vivid and bright. Tip: Keep a towel nearby to wipe your hands. Sweaty hands can reduce the responsiveness of the touch screen. The audio is clear, with adequate volume control. Incline and decline changes are smooth but loud. There is also a loud click as mechanisms lock into place. Resistance changes are smooth and surprisingly silent. I am pleased with the overall quality.

For more experienced riders, this model allows you to swap out the seat and pedals with your preferred equipment.

iFit Subscription: The equipment includes a complimentary 1-year family membership to the iFit training service. This membership allows you to add up to 5 accounts, giving each family member personalized access to the service. The cost is currently $39 per month (or $33/month if you pay for the full year in advance). Don't be intimidated by the subscription price if you are the only user. They don't advertise well the individual plan for $15 per month. This plan is regularly on sale for $12/month.

iFit Activation: The only problems I have encountered so far were in trying to activate iFit. Neither Best Buy nor the NordicTrack manual explains how to get your free 1-year membership. It took hours on the phone involving both companies, multiple departments, and eight different agents to solve this problem. Here is what to do: 1) Wait 24 hours after installation for an email from Best Buy containing an activation code for iFit. If you don't receive this email, call Best Buy and tell them you need their code master to generate an iFit code. 2) Do NOT attempt to activate your membership directly from the cycle console. The console prompts you to pay. Instead, visit the iFit.com and click on the REDEEM button at the top. If you can't find the button, create an account. Then, navigate to the billing section of your account settings. Locate the section labeled "promo/activation code." Enter your code and click redeem. 3) Turn on your cycle and log in to your account on the welcome screen.

iFit Training: I have been happy with the iFit training library. They offer both indoor gym group classes and outdoor trail and city rides. I enjoy the trail rides because the scenery is beautiful and feels less like training. The trainers also offer facts about the scenery. You can create a personalized route using Google Maps. This option displays a slideshow of street photos from the Google database, not video. Your membership includes the entire iFit library, not just cycling videos. The rotating console enables you to watch yoga videos from the floor or lifting videos from the bench. You can also access the library from your computer, phone, or tablet. I experience occasional lag during videos. I'm not sure if it is a problem with my wifi or device buffering. The system also locks up when exiting a video before the training session has ended.

    Exactly what we needed!

We bought this bike when it looked like the gyms weren't going to be available and needed something that simulated spin classes that my wife and I were used to.

We assembled the bike ourselves, which wasn't that difficult. Honestly, moving it from our truck to the room in the house where it was being set up was by far the hardest part due to heavy weight and dimensions.

As for the most important feature, the bike rides like a dream. We did change out the pedals right away to clipless, but that is a minor issue but it makes a big difference. The stock pedals are pretty crappy. The bike is so quiet and smooth. If has a good stiff frame, with a little flex when you are standing. But even with the small flex while riding in a standing position, it feels very similar to a standard road bike. The incline/decline is a way better feature than I imagined.

The iFit studio classes haven't been too impressive, but I love all the different outdoor rides. At first, I thought the outdoor stuff was going to be fairly corny, but after I tried my first one, I was immediately hooked and haven't done any other type of class since then.

Some features that are great that pushed me to get this bike: The built-in fan is awesome! Makes such a difference having a fan right there all the time when you need it. I am also preferential to digital resistance. I like clicking a button to adjust instead of spinning a dial. The quick buttons on the side of the screen are awesome too. Finally, I didn't know it when I bought it, but there is an audio-in port on the of the screen. This is great because I can do the outdoor rides and set it up so that it is the instructors voice but my own music playing. This is an awesome feature. I get to hear the class, but get the music I like that keeps me pumped up.

There are a few upgrades that would be cool to have - but they are rather minor complaints. First, it would be great to have an option to listen to classes on on headphones through a built-in bluetooth. You can get around this by using a bluetooth adapter, but it wouldn't be hard for NT to just have it as a built-in functionality. Second, it would be nice to be able to watch Netflix or other streaming while riding. Everyone once in a while, you want to do a long relaxing ride and watching a movie is a great way to pass the time. Finally, it would be nice to have a little built-in shelf or basket to hold my phone while I am riding. The water cup holder is too shallow, so my phone falls out easily. Like I said earlier... these are minor gripes! Overall, we are incredibly happy with this purchase and glad we chose this bike over some of the other similar bikes on the market.

    Good buy

The only reason this does not get a five is the touchscreen user interface can be sluggish or choppy. Otherwise set up with a little bit of muscle was easy, instructions were well laid out, and the wife and I have been using it for about five weeks with no complaints other than the sluggish interface. But if you want to avoid the sluggish interface just do a manual start instead of using the programs built into the iFit.

Good but only if on sale

    I am a 6ft 210 lbs male for reference.

    Pros:

    Frame is solid.

    It really is silent.

    Decent seat.

Fan is powerful, i like it!

The incline decline is the selling point.

    Cons:

Very poor construction. I had to drill the holes for the metal piece that holds screen and slides into handles larger as they did not align. I have to have a zip tie under the seat rail otherwise there is a wobble. (gap between base metal and seat slide)

Cheap pedals. Just throw these out. If you plan to use a sneaker/gym shoes you're in for pain.

    Mixed feels:

Ifit - i do not mind the classes, they are limited but i really like the automatic resistance and incline changes. The main issue with IFIT is the app stability is really poor. I have had 3 classes out of 12 freeze and not save progress. (I am 5 feet from my router on 5g with 300mbs up and down, its not my internet)

I also really dislike the fact that there is no off/on button, you have to unplug it. Can not be good for the life of the tablet.

No Bluetooth or cast out of box, you need to go into privileged mode which i do not recommend due to even more stability issues.

And does it wobble, NO!! but it does have a slight left to right give due to the incline decline feature, you get used to it as and there is no stability issues. Price to pay for a cool feature that you will actually use.

I was on the fence of returning this item, but now that it is on the 3rd floor and to return i would have to take it the store, and no box, i guess i will be stuck with it. Again, 1100 bucks this thing is awesome, 1600 bucks, you are better off either getting a dumb bike like the Bowflex (Schwinn IC4) or pay the full and go Peloton.

    Easy Workout from home.

I've owned a few different Airdyne models over the years. All have been great bikes. There's a reason that most rehabs and MMA gyms around the country have these bikes: they are incredibly effective, for both the super fit and the not so fit alike! There are a couple of drawbacks to previous versions of the Airdyne bike: one was the noise level; they were quite loud. The second was the chain driven mechanism, which wasn't all that smooth. That isn't to say that older Airdynes weren't great (they were,) just to point out some of the shortcomings. The Pro model has rectified both of these shortfalls. I was hesitant to spend so much on a bike without getting to actually try it, but after watching as many videos as I could find, I decided to take a chance on the Airdyne Pro, and I'm very pleased with the bike. With the exception of the arms, assembly is straight forward, and the construction is rock solid. ***** A few people have had problems installing the arms. Here's the thing: there is a flat spot on the arm, that you must line up with the matching flat spot on the bike. Once you line the smooth pieces up, the arms will go on fairly easily. Just take your time and don't use excessive force. If the arms are lined up as they should be, it won't be required. The other thing with the arms, are the assembly bolts. I noticed that my right arm was noticeably looser than the left. Then, after looking closer at the assembly diagram, I realized I had made the mistake of putting both the left and right arm bolts on from the front of the bike; this is incorrect!!! The right side bolts go in from the front, but the left side bolts go in from the opposite side - the rear. Once I switched those bolts around, both arms were equal in tension. For me, this was counter-intuitive, but it isn't a big deal - long as you're aware of it..***** If I want to knit pick, I wish the monitor had more options for user presets (there is only one,) to program different intervals. The belt drive is SO much smoother than the old chain drive; there is literally no comparison. And while any bike that uses wind resistance is going to be loud, it isn't as loud as the older blade styles used to be. Lastly, I've seen some people saying there's no need for the air diverter because there is no breeze. If you are moving slowly, that may be the case; if you are doing intervals and pushing hard, there is definitely a breeze! This is an advantage in the middle of summer, but if you are using this bike in the winter time, in a cold room, you will definitely be feeling a cold breeze. I would definitely recommend either buying the factory air diverter, or rigging something up to at least have the option to block that breeze.

Worth the $, but follow directions!

Assembly was very easy. My son and I took about 30 minutes to open, unpack and assemble everything. FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS if you don't want any setbacks. That's mainly for simple mistakes like putting the right arm on the left side.

I wanted to buy the higher model because of the ability to adjust the seat more, but it wasn't available at our Best Buy. I'm pretty short (5'-2") so this model just makes it for me with the seat at the lowest position. The seat does bend a bit if you do not tighten it securely.

WARNING! I had a much older Airdyne model and it broke because we weren't using it correctly. I recall reading someone else's review that advised to not put unnecessary weight on the pedals. For example, when you get on the bike, don't hop on the pedal. It's better to step on the center of the bike, plop your butt on the seat, then put your feet into the pedals. The reason for this is the lack of bearings in the system. It's belt-driven and isn't designed for the weight of your body to swing down on the pedal.

I think my nephews were swinging on my old model, one kid on each pedal. Needless to say, you should not operate the bike in that way!

If you follow the instruction manual and use it correctly, you'll probably have a much better experience than the people who rate this any less than 5 stars. I researched a lot of models and I think this is the best bang for the buck. Sometimes you get what you pay for, so please be weary of cheaper brands/models. This bike is as advertised. It gives you an upper and lower body workout at the same time or you can focus on one at a time, just watch the videos. The harder you pedal, the more the resistance. I hope this bike lasts a while, if not then I'll update this review. Enjoy!

    Quality Schwinn

Very good , well made, exercise bike. Solid up to 300#s weight. Assembly was straight forward. Just follow the directions and resist the urge to remove all the cardboard before assembly. Left arm and pedal and right side are clearly evident IF you do one at a time and remove the wrapping as you go. One side of the frame support has wheels. Once installed, it is a heavy frame that can get away from you without another person's help while putting on the other support.

The bicycle seat is not as good as would be expected. I plan to invest in a better one. Provided seat is hard to tighten and remain in position, and does not make adjusting for another person easy. Seat should be engineered along the lines of the removable bicycle seats with the lever adjustments.

Mfgr mentions several times this is NOT a toy, or bike for children to play on. Should NOT be used around children. The pedals and arms are unforgiving steel.

The mfgr provides a ( rubber?) strap to lock the arms to enable you to move the bike for storage. I find it too loose and use a leather strap instead. Overall I'm very satisfied with the purchase.

    Airdyne AD6 Bike

This is a nice addition to our in-home exercise routine. Adjustment of the seat is not the easiest, but it is adjustable for height. The display is a little hard to read as I can't find a way to adjust back-lighting if there is one. I like the ability to exercise arms, legs, and cardio all at once. I am satisfied with my purchase

    Welcome Schwinn to New Century

My old Schwinn AD2(bought in 1999) was getting louder(who thought that could be possible) and I was running into issues with the tensioner. I Was looking for a replacement and was surprised when Best Buy showed exercise bikes, and a new version of my classic. Delivery was a snap and very safe. Setup took me and one of my kids helping around an hour. From a workout standpoint it is excellent as expected. The feel is a bit different than the older bike as it is a single belt drive, but I haven't had any issues. I like the water bottle holder as that wasn't on the old bike. OH! This thing is so amazingly quiet compared to the old one. You get noise at higher RPMs, but you can have a relaxed ride without needing headphones to hear Netflix on TV or phone.

    Excellent piece of exercise equipment

Excellent purchase. The product is well built and has performed as expected. It is actually the first piece of exercise equipment we have used on a regular basis.

The only negative of the product is the seat. It is a pretty odd sized/shaped seat and the quality of the attachment point is not good. I ended up purchasing a different bike seat from the store and putting it on. The seat I purchased is designed for a 'cruiser' bike. The seat that came with the Airdyne was too big for my use.

    Fine Aerobic Workout

I've enjoyed the outstanding quality of Schwinn products since my first bicycle as an elementary school kid, and now I'm pushing 73 years old and 20 years out from cardiac bypass surgery. Not needing all sorts of bells and whistles on the console, this sturdy smooth-riding bike and its movable handlebars gives me all the info I need to manage an excellent aerobic workout.

Great Bike ..Love the JRNY App

We've been NordicTrack customers for years. While we liked the quality of their products, encountered nothing but problems with the iFit software. The NordicTrack/iFit support couldn't figure out what was going wrong. Nautilus/Bowflex is really the only other option out there for multiple exercise machines using a different app, JRNY. As such, we've been converting over the Bowflex line of machines and just added this VeloCore bike. Love it ..but much more importantly, love the JRNY app which works great!

Great bike, concerned about the Android screen...

Assembly was very straightforward, took my wife and I about an hour and a half. Screen is bright and clear. I have concerns about the Android OS and long-term updates (if Netflix, Disney, etc. stop supporting the version of Android being used, will Bowflex update the OS or sell an updated screen/tablet?)

I've only had the bike for a few days, so I can't speak to long-term usage, but first impressions are that the bike is solid, the riding experience is comfortable, and I'm looking forward to my journey with JRNY!

We've added a padded seat cover for additional comfort.

    We returned ours

We had the Velocore 22" for 2 weeks, and returned it.

I thought the "lean" feature was mildly interesting, possibly annoying (though you can always lock it, of course), and at the cost of a more complicated bike that also comes with a shorter warranty. I didn't think the "upper body workout" was significant enough to justify the downsides.

JRNY has great elements to it, and the thing I liked best about the bike. I really like the "adaptive" workout features, and the "dial" telling you at all ties exactly how hard to work. I like how I could layer a workout over other media, or choose a "real life ride" or music. I also really like the "journal", where I get to see the frequency and calorie-burn of my workouts. It's simple, and motivating!

The JRNY workouts are minimally sufficient in number, but I suspect this will grow with time, so this is not a big complaint.

The screen quality is mediocre. Not nearly as good as Peleton.

The trainers seemed like nice folk, but, perhaps bc all the workouts are filmed without music (you layer your own on top, from categories provided, or from your own library), they are just very straight forward, pretty suburban, and the experience is less exciting/motivating than Peleton or other music-driven classes/rides. Still, there is excellent feedback on how hard you should be working, plus your ride profile past and future is tracked for you in real time, and this might make up for it for the music for some people. It's great.

All in, I REALLY like the JRNY app and strongly recommend considering the stationary Bowflex C7 to retain access. Judging from the Velocore (minus lean), the quality is similar to Peleton, but you'll be able to use both JRNY and Peleton apps if you choose. You can't get on the Peleton leaderboard of course, but everything else is functional, and the subscription is only $13/month! See casting note below.

The only reason we didn't go this way is because my daughter wanted access to Sufferfest, and Bowflex cannot currently interact with it, or be adapted to do so, unless you buy a $400 "Power meter."

Also note that while Peleton and Zwift are "compatible," only the JRNY app will appear on the included screen. The bike will send basic data to these apps, but you will need to connect via your phone/iPad, and if you want a larger screen, cast from there to that larger screen.

We went with a Keiser bike, probably the best bike available at home, bc it also connects easily with all the open apps. I love my new bike. But I miss the JRNY app a little.

Great Bike but not so for support!

Great bike but the support is not as good as I hoped. Took about an hour for two of us to setup the bike. I called tech support for an issue and I was on hold for a little over an hour before someone answered. If support is important to you, I would probably look at other bikes. I do like the fact that the bike will lean as you ride. It is a little more difficult with the lean and that engages a few more mussels. The display is good and there are a lot of choices of where and how to ride. The musical choices are a bit limited and I wish they offered classical music as a choice.

The bike should get 5 stars and the support should get 3. Average is 4 and that's why I've given it what I did.

Incredible Bike, lots of fun, Awful software

This bike is is incredible, fun to ride and the side-to-side lean option makes it more engaging and helps make it not so boring. The bike is great, the only downside to this bike is the Bowflex JRNY application that you have to subscribe to. The software is junk, and worthless and the fact that they charge for it is a joke. They actually should pay owners to use this crappy application. it has nothing new, and the recorded videos are a silly and so bad. They never have new content and it never changes or offers anything to help you advance. So great bike, lousy software.

    Velocore is Awesome

I’m a fan of Bowflex great support and quality products. I’m glad I bought this exercise bike with the monitor. It really keeps you focused on your workout.

If you are handy with simple tools, you can save $200 setup fee, as I assembled it in about 60 minutes. I recommend watching the online assembly video and you will not have any issues. Comes with 6 month subscription to JRNY, the recommended workouts will challenge you. The side to side will work your core as was the intent and gives similarities of riding.

Nice looking bike, even better ride

Fantastic ride, really wish Bowflex would develop technology/software that utilizes the bikes tilt/turn function. Maybe a series of challenges or games that allow you to use the bikes turn feature to control yourself on the screen? This bike looks nicer than a peloton, and it allows you to break free from the typical indoor bike ride. The icing on the cake is that the android tablet is compatible with nearly all workout subscriptions..even peloton

Great bike and setup by the pros made it easy.

Love the bike. Best Buy sent a couple of men to set it up, and they showed up when they said they would, hauled off my old elliptical, and set this new one up. Very professional.

A few weeks later, there was a small noise coming from the bike. I called Bowflex and within 15 minutes had tightened some bolts on the flywheel, and all was good.

I really like the bike a lot. While I don't always use the "lean", it does make it unique and I a bit more realistic.

I did sign up to the workouts and have enjoyed them. I can wholeheartedly recommend this bike.

    Great bike

We bought this bike because we didn’t want to spend several thousand on a premium spinning bike plus monthly online ‘classes.’ We already have a Pro-Form treadmill with iFit membership, so this bike was a great option where I can use my own iPad. I’ve only done a few ‘classes’ and actually use it mainly while watching TV. We did buy a gel seat pad to make the ride more comfortable. I’m a big guy and am impressed with how sturdy the bike is. I was able to put it together by myself, but it would have gone smoother with a helper.

    Great buy

This indoor cycle is great. Nice, quiet, and smooth. I bought this to use at my own pace. As for the ifit not really interested in using it. I just need it while I working from home. I have to agree the seat is not comfortable which leaves the last star off for me. I’ll have to get a cushion to get comfortable.

Putting the cycle together was simple with the help of my daughter. It’s faster with 2 people. The cycle came out nice. I enjoy the product.

Time to get back on it.

Where staying active and being affordable meet

With the combination of gyms being shutdown and having multiple children at home, I’ve been struggling to stay as active as I’d like. And once the gyms opened back up, the ones around me didn’t have childcare! Having home gym equipment was the only was I was going to be able to make it work. I chose this spin bike because it had an affordable price tag compared to so many other models (*cough Peloton) but still had favorable reviews. I was sent this bike in exchange for providing an unbiased review of my experience using it. It was super simple to assemble. The included directions were concise and correct, which can actually be hard to come by. It didn’t take more that half an hour to put together with the included tools. Once assembled, the bike is still lightweight enough that you can tilt it up and push or pull it on the attached wheels to put it in the desired position. Despite the weight, it’s solid and doesn’t feel cheaply made. Your bottom will need time to adjust to the seat, but I’ve found that to be true anytime I’m not regularly riding a bike. Those parts just don’t get used daily otherwise. It’s easy to adjust the tension and the only thing you need to start the bike up is 3 AA batteries to power the console. iFit has been a really enjoyable feature too, so make sure to check that out!

    Ride like a pro

Hit a GOLD MINE with the ProForm spin bike! This is exactly what I've been looking for to add to our home gym. When I got the opportunity to purchase it at a discounted price for my feedback, I had to do it! Assembly of the bike took less than an hour by myself. I was so excited that when the bike arrived I immediately got to work on putting it together. There were a couple of steps that would have been easier to complete had there been a second set of hands, but I was able to complete the assembly. The instruction manual is clear and anyone who has put anything together from an instruction manual should not have any problems. The manual shows that a rubber mallet is one of the tools needed, but I did not need one for any of the steps. If you don't have one you should not need to go buy one to complete assembly. I appreciate the ease of adjusting the seat and handlebar heights settings. The ride is sturdy and smooth. When I was considering this purchase I struggled with the idea of the perfect seat for my backside, so I plan to purchase some padded biking shorts to help with comfort until I have adjusted to this bike. This spin bike has been a blessing after my physical therapist recommended this activity to strengthen my muscles that support my arthritic knees after having VSG earlier this year. I have enjoyed being able to blow off some steam and exercise in the comfort of my home. The 3lb weights that are included compliment my routine nicely. With having the iFIT app takes exercising to a whole new experience that I love!!!

Doesn't take up a ton of room!

I was very fortunate to be able to work from home during the pandemic, but that also meant that I was not moving even close to as much as I used to. I get bored with treadmills, so my best friend suggested I try a spin bike. I was given this product for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion. The first thing that I love about this bike is the size. I live in an apartment, so I need to conserve all the room I can, especially with all my office equipment now here too. This bike doesn't take up much room at all! I actually had the decision to put it in my dining room, OR my home office, and it would be out of the way in both places! If I change my mind, it will be easy to move to my office. However, just because it is easy to move, doesn't mean it's flimsy by any means. This bike is very sturdy, no rocking, no tilting, nothing! I am not afraid that I am going to fall off of it at all. I love that I can do the IFit classes because it has a little shelf for my Ipad. It fits perfectly, and is not loose. I will say that I had to take off my Ipad case because that made my Ipad too wide to fit. You will get a good workout with this bike, and I recommend putting a towel where you can reach it. Maybe it's just me, but I hate touching my Ipad when my hands are sweaty from working out. I have had this bike for 3 weeks, and my legs and butt are still getting used to the seat. I am going to give it one more week, and then buy a more cushioned seat if need be.

    Quality exercise bike!

The pandemic changed the way I work out. It was hard to make that change, but after I established a routine on this ProForm bike, I've quickly changed my thinking! I prefer riding in the comfort of my own home. The bike was easily put together in about 30 minutes and came with all of the pieces needed. The bike is the smoothest ride I've ever had and it's so incredibly quiet. I expected some noise, but this goes above and beyond. I'm able to watch tv while riding or ride with my family in the room without disturbing them. The bike is compact with fits in smaller rooms. I swapped the standard bike seat out for a wide saddle for more comfort. For a more experienced rider, I think the standard would be fine. My body much preferred the added comfort. There is a water bottle holder, and the bike even comes with dumbbells that are secured on the back of the seat. The pedals keep your foot secured in the straps, but you can easily take your foot out too. The big red stop button below the handle bars is standard, but it's easy to use and easily accessible. I also like the handle bars and how there are many places to grip. It makes it nice for multiple users. This bike is compatible with iFit, which has been a fun addition! I've really enjoyed it and I also like that I can get an excellent workout without it. I received this equipment in exchange for my unbiased opinion.

    Great Quality, Compact Bike!

We were able to set this bike up in about 30 minutes with the easy and simple instructions included. We also watched a how to assemble video found on youtube.

This bike has been very easy to use, it is very quiet and a smooth ride. I love the fact that it also has two 3-Pound weights so I can do some cross-training workouts, and with the ability to use my own phone or tablet for the iFIT program I can use iFIT easily for other workouts, other than just while on the bike, using the shelf on the adjustable screen console.

This bike is compatible for many users, the seat is adjustable up and down or forward and back and the handlebars are also adjustable forward and back. I find it a great option, for beginners like myself, but also something my husband (who is more of an advanced rider) can use as well.

This bike has been great for me, it is compact, quiet and easy to move around with the wheels attached to the front - couldn’t be more convenient for our small home.

I was given this product for a reduced price in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.

Great Bike. Just a few nitpicks

We've had this bike for about a week so still learning to use it. It's not perfect but nothing ever. Overall we really like it so far. The only hiccup was a missing part. Customer support was very nice but informed me it was gong to take six weeks for them to get the part to us. It was a cosmetic piece so we can use the bike but six weeks to replace a part someone forgot to put in the box?

    PROS

    --------

    -The price is great

    -Solid construction

    -Built in speakers

    -Comfortable seat

-The Explore the World app synch easily and gives you six free courses with beautiful scenery

    - Very Quiet

    - Smooth operation

    CONS

    ---------

-USB port charges a phone but not enough amps to charge an iPad

-The bike has bluetooth out but not in so the built in speakers are not bluetooth capable

-The USB charging port does not support audio so you need to use two cords if you want to play audio and charge at the same time - minor but why?

-The seat is adjustable but slides forward very forcefully when unlocked. It takes a good amount of force to push it back up and lock it in place. Smaller people might have a little trouble with that. It really could use a spring or a piston to make adjustments easier and smoother.

    - Unable to synch with apps like Zwift or Rouvy but might be able to if a cadence sensor is purchased separately and attached to the pedals

    - The Explore the World app is nice but has very limited on screen info. Just distance and time but not cadence or resistance and the lower LCD screen that is still visible when an iPad is in the holder can not display cadence and resistance at the same time. They should fix one or the other.

    - The seat back is hard plastic with a strong lumbar curve. This can be uncomfortable if its not a good fit for your shape and size. It would be great if they offered a mesh back as an option.

Overall its a great bike .The Cons I listed are mostly minor things and most of them are things they could fix pretty easily and inexpensively if they wanted to. The sliding seat is something that would require a bit of a redesign but they should look into that with the next upgrade because if you have multiple people using the bike and some are less muscular this could be annoying if not slightly hazardous.

Addendum: To up the experience I bought a thin 15.5" monitor for $140 on Amazon. I connected an Apple TV that we weren't using (but you can connect any streaming device Roku, Firestick) so we could stream free YouTube workout videos, YouTubeTV, Netflix, Apple Fitness+ workouts. Peloton even has an app and the subscription is only $12.95/mth. You can also stream the included Explore the World app from your phone to the Monitor this way. Its great to have so many options so everyone can use it the way the want and unlike Peloton and Nordictrack bikes that have a screen but lock you into their subscription service wiht no other option this set up lets you do anything you want.

Perfect addition to our new Exerise room!

Perfect! Husband and I needed a recumbent bike. Due to the pandemic we canceled our gym memberships. We now are working on getting an exercise room set up in our house. This recumbent bike adds a perfect cardio machine to our gym. It is easy to use, and delivery was nice, they placed the box in the room. Can’t go wrong with Best Buy!

    Bike Suitable For All Needs

Great Recumbent Bike; very easy to use and allows you to ease into higher performance levels. Numerous programs as well as WiFi and Heart monitor capability. Although not needed at the moment, works well for rehabilitation -- would have been useful previously. Love the fan and the cool down options. Have yet to use the many additional features. Sleek design that fits nicely into a multipurpose room.

Exhaustive research-- well-pleased with my choice!

I have been enjoying my Nautilus R618 Recumbent Exercise Bike for a little over a month. After having done exhaustive research on recumbent exercise bikes, I am well-pleased with my decision to purchase this particular bike. It was delivered to my front door in a very heavy, large, narrow box which I was able to slide inside for unpacking. Everything inside the box was in pristine condition due to all components being encased in styrofoam blocks. I carefully unpacked all components and checked everything against the parts list located in the first few pages of the manual. All parts accounted for, I took them to the room where I planned to assemble the bike. I am a 70 year old female and I was able to assemble the bike by myself, needing a helper only to hold a component while I made the wiring connections to the control console. Assembly took about 2 hours. Once it was assembled it was quite easy to slide it into position for use. I connected the power cable, plugged it into a surge protector, and it powered right up.

Like most products you get today, the assembly instructions are scant on words and big on pictures. Just take your time and study the manual before you begin, making sure to look closely at the pictures. All tools required for assembly are included (4 mm and 6 mm hex wrenches and a screwdriver/wrench combination). You even get a few extra washers and bolts. You will need a utility knife or scissors to open the hardware packaging.

The bike has an easily-adjusted seat with levers that allow you to tilt the backrest, and to move the seat forward and backward to accommodate the length of your legs. The backlit console is very easy to read and to operate. Resistance can be increased or decreased by pressing the pads on the console, or on the seat handlebars.

You can enter your profile (name, age, weight, height, gender, preferred workout values). There is a quick start (non-automated) program, 12 different profile programs that automate different resistance and workout levels, custom program which allows you to set the resistance level for each interval and select type of goal to create a personalized workout, and finally, a cool down mode. You can track your heart rate using the included chest strap or the contacts located on the handlebars.

The only thing I would change is the location of the media tray. I like to watch virtual bike tours while I use the bike, but when I place my iPad on the tray, it blocks the upper display on the console. If you don't care about where you are in the program it will not matter to you. It is not a big thing, and I will eventually figure out a way around it.

The manual that comes with the bike does not go into real detail about all the features of this bike, but if you go online to www.nautilus.com/manuals you will find a more detailed operations manual that you can print for reference.

As I said at the start, I am very happy with this purchase -- from ordering, to delivery, to assembly, operation and performance. I think it is a good buy -- you get a lot for your money, and I recommend it.

    Great Bike!

The R618 is a wonderful piece of machinery. The pedaling mechanism is extremely smooth with highly adjustable magnetic resistance, the seat adjustment controls are solid, and the electronics are club quality. I'm very pleased with the purchase and predict it will last for many years to come! The reason I'm knocking it down to 4-stars is the quality of the phone / tablet apps. The app that is referenced in the included documentation doesn't exist any longer and its replacement has not scored well. I assume Nautilus is working on something new.

    Totally Satisfied

It seems recumbent exercise bikes were in high demand as I shopped various brands and all were back ordered. Nautilus was the first I found available so I pulled the trigger. Item was delivered right into the room I desired, I had it put together in less than two hours and I'm 82 years old. I haven't figured out all the programs yet, but I also don't like to read instructions. LOL

    Exactly what I wanted

This Bike is a replacement for 15 year old Recumbent Bike. I reviewed several Bikes and this model fit my exercise needs the best. Being on sale $449.00 instead of a list price of $699.00 made the purchase affordable and within my budget. I had Best Buy Geek Squad deliver it and the delivery was on time for the date requested. Assembly was easy at just under two hours. Overall the quality is what I am used to getting from Schwinn and this Bikes quality is excellent. Since this Bike was quite an improvement over my previous Bike there was a slight adjustment to find the exercise programs that I like. Have used it twice and am satisfied with the programs offered. My only suggestion would be to add a backlit LCD for the control panel. You should not have to spend $200.00 more to get the next model up just for a back lit LCD.

Nice recumbent bike. The seat is hard so you may want to use a cushion. The bike is quiet and smooth. Took me about 2 hours to put it together. All and all I like it so far. Gives you a good workout, more so it seems than the exercise bikes with the seat up much higher.

Difficult to get warranty replacement for key part

The unit is quiet and works as described but the unit was delivered with a misaligned plate, holding the control console, welded to the handlebar mast. So the console tilts on a strong angle rather than straight up and down. All warranty service goes through Nautilus, owner of the Schwinn brand, and there is a very long (50+ minute) wait to connect with support. They replaced the part for me but provided a part of a model year 2013 bike which had a different console so the holes do not align. Nautilus cannot seem to figure out how to get the right handlebar mast for the model bike currently sold by Best Buy.

Good sturdy and virtually silent bike

I really like it as it's virtually silent. I really don't care about programs, so just a sturdy and quiet bike is fine for me. I ride it for long periods like an hour to 1.5 hours at a time. For short periods the seat is fine, but it gets uncomfortable after about 45 minutes for me. I am just buying a cushion to make it more comfortable. Putting it together was relatively straight forward and takes about 2 hours. I only needed help for about 5 minutes during the assembly. The screen is a little hard to see in dim light, but that's not really a big deal to me. For the money, I think it's about as good as you can expect.

    Recumbent Cycling

We have been looking for a stationary cycle that we could use easily and would have less impact on our knees. We searched many different types and this one was best and price was reasonable. Easy to set up. Comfy seat. The display is not back lit and to see it you have to be in well lit area. That is it only downfall. We would recommend this cycle to anyone especially those with joint issues.

    Good bike

I waited to review this till I’d had it a month or so. I read reviews with interest before I bought, and was a bit worried as a few talked about the seat being uncomfortable. When your body has a small little…ummm…seat contact area like I do, that’s not good news. I don’t find the seat uncomfortable at all. It adjusts for tilt, height and fore/aft. I would say people just haven’t adjusted it right. I also read a few who said there is no way to tighten the seat so it doesn’t wobble. I would guess that’s because people missed the fact that after adjusting the seat position fore/aft, you have to hand tighten the plunger. Then its solid.

Directions? Better than Ikea, but not great. Probably not good enough for someone who’s never changed their own oil, but OK for the rest of us.

Bike works well. Pedaling is smooth and quiet. Electronics are a bit crude, but once you get used to it, who cares? I use the little heart rate sensor you put on your chest, and love the adjustable little fan that blows on you.

I have no conmplaints that matter, this is a good bike.

    Very decent bike

Great to have a bike like this which is very quiet and feels like you can build momentum when you pedal. Like bikes at the gym, the different settings seamlessly change difficulty. Nautilus has good support if you run into any issues during assembly and the assembly instructions are clear. I like that there are wheels in front if you need to move it. Only things I think could be improved: seat is a little hard even with 'gel cushion' and seat should have option to move it a little closer to the handlbars for times you want to sit up straighter.

Solid gym-quality bike, but old-style display

This is a very sturdy, well designed exercise bike. It is near gym-quality, not a typical lightweight “home gym” purchase.

The display and interface is of high quality but not what you might expect from a contemporary product. It is a monochrome character display, not a high definition (or even low definition!) video display. In this way it is at least one or two generations behind other popular machines such as those made by Pelotor or NordicTrac. On the other hand, it costs only about a third of what they do! The display console angle can be slightly adjusted, but on mine it want to stay in one of two positions—either fully upright or all the way back—I am not able to place it anywhere in between.

Using the app along with it does add some variety to the workout. I’ve only tried the few free tours—you have to buy a subscription to get access to the rest—and they give you high res video to go along with your work out. The video tracks fairly well—it speeds up and slowed down when you do—but it is NOT an interactive workout, it’s just a way to give you some outside scenery to look at while exercising inside. Quite delightful really, especially if your bike is in a room with a nice TV!

The saddle is very well padded, with quick-adjustments for both up and down as well as fore and aft. Most people should be able to find a comfortable position.

The pedals have toe cages and are of good quality.

There are two sets of handlebars—one straight set positioned just under the console for cruisers who prefer sitting upright in the saddle, the other far out in front for those who like a more nearly prone position. The position of each is somewhat adjustable with a wrench, but there are no quick releases for easy changes.

Overall you can get a very good workout in this bike. If you want to spend the $2k on the more modern setups, or if you think you need the HD display and interactivity to keep you motivated, I’d say go for it. But if you are looking for a solid gym-quality machine to give you a challenging workout and only have only $700 to spend, this should meet your needs.

Excellent value, altho poor service from Nautilus

A little tricky to put together, but the U618 seems to be quite sturdy, and offers a moderately priced alternative to venturing out during the pandemic to my old gymnasium.

After only a few sessions, my sense of wellbeing has returned thanks to this device.

Only qualms: (a) poorly written instructions for assembling the bike, and (b) very poor customer service from Nautilus, whose customer service not only failed to answer my calls for help regarding assembly, but totally failed to respond to emails requesting help via the Nautilus website. Fortunately, the Geek Squad will be [reliably] available should we need help in the future -- based on our previous experiences.

    Great bike for the money

I have enjoyed this bike since purchasing. It gives you the similar feel of a bike you would find at a gym. Make no mistake, this is not a Peloton type bike, but a good solid home bike for typical users. My unit feels stable under my 6'2", 260 lb frame. Put it together myself with help from the YouTube video for the bike in about 1.25 hours. Pretty simple. I had a bit of clicking from the pedals on my first use but once I leveled the bike with the adjustable feet all was well. The seat is padded but has to be at the correct height to keep from having discomfort. Overall I am very pleased.

Great bike, lots of features, easy to assemble....

uncomfortable seat after 30 minutes or so. Love the bluetooth connectivity, it saves your workouts and even puts them into the workouts area of the Apple Watch. Metal is sturdy, everything fits well, robust product. The seat is easily adjustable up and down, backwards and forwards, but some additional squishiness would be appreciated as it can hurt your "sit bone" until you get used to it. Everything screams high quality with the bike and I don't think anyone would be disappointed, just get a nice padded towel to sit on until you get used to it.

Bike works fine, at least the second one does. First one arrived defective.

However, Computer old and obsolete. Pathetic for the price. Apps advertised don’t really exist. Not sure if Bluetooth even works.

I expected more from Nautilus based on internet information and price

    Best bike for the money!

This bike has to look and feel of the professional models at the gym.

I looked at the 'popular' bikes with the sexy ads. The price was way more than I could afford. This bike is affordable. The bike was also easy to assemble. I did take it out of the box to carry it up a flight of stairs. The flywheel is heavy. Bike went together easily. Best to have a second person to help with the electric connections. The seat is comfortable and the bike really makes you work. It gives you a great workout...

LOL

    Excellent Bike!

After we researched bikes, including the Peloton, we decided to go with this bike for a few reasons. We liked the idea of the instructor lead bike rides that took place out on the road, on trails, etc. You could see the instructor on a bike "in front of you", like you would if you were out on an actual ride. We also liked that the iFit instructor could adjust your tension and incline/decline without having to do it ourselves. And lastly, we liked the option of using a set of pedals and our shoes we already had on hand so we could clip in. Some reviews mention how loud it is when the incline/decline changes, but for us, it's not bad at all. So far we love it. The swivel screen is nice. It's not ideal on carpet with padding underneath and it does wobble slightly, especially when out of the saddle. We intend to remove the carpet and put in a rubber floor, so that we don't have that problem and have a proper gym floor for our workout room. No regrets with this purchase so far.

    Nordictrack S22i

I really like the quality and ease of use with this spin bike. I compared it to another very popular brand. Having the 360 degree rotating screen to do off bike exercises like yoga, built in fan and not having to buy special shoes made it a perfect choice for me. I am able to program my own rides using google maps, it’s fun to ride to a friends house and seeing all the familiar scenery. Having the instructors controlling the resistance and incline ( yes it inclines up or down during your ride) was a plus! No turning a knob!

Love this bike !! Wasn't sure if it would live up to my expectations after reading some of the reviews but it has. Lots of great choices in rides on I Fit. The cycle itself is very solid and really mimics being on my road bike while enjoying the comforts of riding indoors and out of the heat. Will be changing the pedals since I am conditioned to riding clipped in.

Looking forward to purchasing a treadmill now to take advantage of the awesome hikes offered on I Fit.

    Definitely worth the purchase price

    This bike is so quiet!

I love this bike for the early am workouts so I don’t have to worry about waking anyone else up in the house. It is completely quiet.

Having the ifit used with it is so much fun so all I have to do is workout without having to worry about changing the resistance or settings.

It takes any guess work out of the workout so your sure to get a great workout with so many options to make it easier or more challenging.

    Very good quality !!!

Cost is more then most bikes but you get your value out of it and it’s absolutely worth the price! We actually bought two so we don’t have to adjust the settings when me or my husband use it. We just get on and go.

Best purchase I’ve ever made! This bike is phenomenal and I get the best workouts. Since the gyms are closed I have lost my chance to exercise. This bike has helped me get my strength back and my endurance. I switched the bike seat because it was too padded, but other than that I have not encountered any problems. I’ve had it for one month and it’s been only great! Being purchased here was a way better option than through their website.

You can even trek through your own neighborhood without leaving your house. I chose this over the Peleton due to the addituonal features.

Overall I am very pleased.

uncomfortable seat after 30 minutes or so.

    Good bike. Bad electronics

    Great Alternative to a Peloton

This bike has some amazing value. It’s very sturdy and the resistance options are pretty great. The only cons about the bike is the hard seat and the app requirement. I was not a fan of the seat, so I ordered a gel bike seat cover from Amazon and it’s helped quite a bit. The app requirement makes sense since the bike does not have a screen built in but you cannot change resistance unless the app is connected while in use. The app itself needs a lot of work and it feels like the subscription is it required but it’s heavily suggested. I will not buy the subscription, especially with a wonky app. But other than that, I feel like this bike is worth the money and a great alternative if you own a tablet. The value is there and the price is hard to beat!

    Solid, compact and whisper quiet!

I LOVE this bike! I originally was going to get a Peloton which a few of my friends have, however I was unsure if I would enjoy working out at home....essentially, I purchased this unit which is lower in price. The quality is excellent, it was super easy to put together and the online classes are fun and engaging! I am thrilled that I can use my own sneakers and not have to buy a special kind to fit the pedals. The bike fits into the small space I wanted to put it, facing my tv. I did have to change out the uncomfortable hard seat. I bought a $30 replacement seat and the ride is so much better. I also needed to add my own weights to the back of the bike which fit perfectly. Also a nice surprise is at the side of the tablet holder is a charging outlet. If you are on a long ride, this is a necessity! I highly recommend this spin bike. It exceeded my expectations! Now.... looking for a rower!

    Damages

Got this bike last week and noticed there were some dents on the frame and the flywheel. How do go about getting a replacement without bringing it back to the store? Not sure if it will affect the flywheel.

The quality of the bike is excellent. I would give 5 stars if its not the damages. Also, the delivery guys wont help to bring the bike to the room. They said either outside the door or inside behind the front door.

Great bike! The app costs more than it should.

I really like this bike. I am currently having a squeaky pedal issue, but customer service has been helpful in resolving this problem.

If you've taken CycleBar or Peloton classes, you'll find the On Demand and Live classes provided by Echelon to be a bit different. Different isn't always bad. I'm just not super impressed with the music.

I wouldn't mind the music if the subscription price was less, but once my free trial is up, I will not be paying $40 a month for a subscription on a bike when I can pay Peloton $15 a month.

All the features, very reliable, and good looking too.

Bought this for my wife and I knowing that we weren't committed enough to indoor cycling to warrant a huge investment for a more expensive brand. (P-something.)

We're very happy and frequent users, probably doing 4.5-5 hours a week of cycling between the 2 of us. She does online exercise classes while I stream shows on a spare 32" TV that I've positioned 3 feet in front of the bike.

(For reference, I'm a semi-serious road cyclist doing 2,000 miles a year. She's not a cyclist at all and insisted on a comfortable seat. We're both happy with the bike and use this about equally.)

We both benefit from the easy adjustments as there's a big size difference between the 2 of us.

Only possible drawback is that this is a heavy unit - don't plan on moving it frequently.

This is the right bike for us - lots of features - including some smart features (Bluetooth), yet we're not paying for a monitor or worried about early obsolescence. Take the money you saved from buying a monitor-less bike and buy an LCD TV larger than than any bike-connected monitor for half of the difference.

    Solid Hardware. Good feel.

    Mechanical Hardware:

I bought mine a year ago from Johnson before many other stores started selling it. Solid smooth riding hardware. The crank arm is steel verified by a magnet. The pedal screw goes through the crank and pertrudes to the other side where a nut holds its. Another brand has its pedal falling out as complaints roll in on a Facebook group.

    Electronics:

The resistance magnet is positioned and controlled with an electronic controlled servo instead of a mechanical linkage.

You can use Freestyle on the App for the basic readout of speed, resistance calories.

    Service:

It looks like Geeksquad offers service plans. Geeksquad has the optics of high availability since you see their vehicles in the BB parking lots. Not like a no-name service company the has to cover a couple hundred mile service area.

    Negative:

It must have and internet connection or the app will not Bluetooth link and adjust the resistance. If any of the electronics fail, you will have a boat anchor in you living room. This is where a mechanical linkage positioning the resistance magnet will not leave you stranded.

    Conclusion:

If the electronics never fails the bike is gym quality. The feel of the bike makes you want to use it instead of becoming a coat rack.

    Perfect entry level bike

Perfect bike for use with third party fitness services. I use mine with my iPad and Apple Fitness+ and it’s been great. My only complaints are inconsistent customer service (one person knows nothing, the next knows the exact solution) and that the resistance doesn’t adjust as quickly as I’d like when turning the knob you have to turn it A LOT to get the resistance up. No one at Echelon support knew that in order to adjust the resistance the app cannot be connected or if it is connected you HAVE to be in a ride otherwise it won’t adjust at all.

    Great Bike

So far I’m enjoying my new stationary bike. Assembly definitely takes at least two people and a couple of hours. I really like the iFit app. It has a lot of different courses at different levels. The only cons is that the seat is really uncomfortable and my hands hurt from the handle bars. I just ordered a gel cushion seat cover and cycling gloves from Amazon. I had one injury stepping off the bike. Be careful when you step off! I didn’t move my leg and the pedal spun around and scrapped the top of my foot really bad. So painful because the pedal is medal and not smooth so it’s scrapped kind of deep. I was wearing sneakers but included a pic from the next day after hurting myself. User error for sure but I was exhausted and not thinking. Other than that, I’m glad with my purchase. Almost forgot, the weights are included with this model.

Value is in the bike itself, iFit is lacking

Let me start off by saying while the bike is lacking in features, you will not find a bike with a cadence/rpm display and electronic magnetic resistance at this price point. If you are looking for a bike to use with another app and want a simple solution this bike will fit the bill. I weigh 250 lbs and am 6’1” tall and this bike was stable for me despite what I’ve read elsewhere. I wish the handlebar would come up one more notch, but my posture seems to be what most have in spin classes.

This bike seems to lacking in basic features, I assume this is to keep the more expensive Nordic-Trak/Tour De France in line with the price point. Biggest missing “feature” is no Bluetooth audio. You must use headphones with a 3.5 jack which isn’t very comfortable while on the bike, let alone when you have iFit workouts where you get off the bike and do floor exercises. There is also no power switch, the manual states to unplug the unit when not in use, I ended up buying a cheap power strip to act as a switch instead of wearing out the plug on the wall or the back of the bike. Also there are no stops on the height adjustments, the first time I went to adjust the handlebars I pulled it clean out of the frame. No damage was done but it was unexpected. There is no ledge to set anything on either, I hope this is just a design choice/oversight and not a way to try to keep you locked into the iFit service.

I have two large issues with the bike. First the cords in the back of the display are terrible, they look like S-Video plugs and there are no markings to assist with lining them up which made this step of the assembly the longest. They also do not “click” or secure once plugged in. I found this out when I turned the monitor to do a floor workout and one of them came unplugged powering the unit off.

Second as much as iFit touts itself as alternative to Echelon/Peleton, I don’t think it is. When looking into which bike to purchase I wanted to compare the classes that all three offer, but all three keep their actual class structure and offerings obfuscated until you join. If iFit has live streaming classes at any point I have yet to find them, despite them advertising so. I assume they add new rides/classes but again I couldn’t tell you how many are added each month, if any. This is fine for my free 1-yr trial, but it is not worth the same monthly price as the Peleton app which has scheduled live streams and a library that grows daily. One thing that Proform/iFit did do right is there are a handful of workouts built into the bike, which Peleton does not offer from what I understand.

The Best Buy guys who did my delivery were on time and courteous, other than the issue with the display noted above assembly was easy.

    Great Value and Expected Quality.

I don't write reviews, but thought I would on this since I took a gamble on even though many reviews weren't that great. So I thought I would share some feedback as I have been impressed so far. First of all, the Best Buy process was seamless with pickup at a nearby warehouse, that was a first.

As to the bike, it's excellent for the price. My expectations were set for a connected bike between $900-1000, not a $2500 bike. As such, I did not expect the Ferrari when I was only willing to buy the Honda. My expectations were exceed. It wasn't difficult to put together and the quality of build was better than expected.

My only hesitation was the 10 in screen, as all the higher end bikes are at 20 in plus and I thought that would disappoint. It didn't and I actually wonder if the larger screen would be too much sitting so close on the bike. The 10 in screen works well and is good quality.

Several other points in older reviews seemed to have been improved, electrical connectors lock together, the handlebars have grip on them and the seat is a normal bike seat. If you haven't been riding, any seat is an adjustment.

The first workout was excellent and the rest of the family has used it as well. iFit seems great so far and I am excited to continue working out on this. If my assessment changes over the next month of use, I will update, but so far this is better than I expected for the price. To be cleat, it doesn't have bluetooth for audio, but I am testing transmitters.

It was worth the gamble given the reviews, it was available immediately and its meets what I wanted for the price I was willing to spend.

A Good, but not Great Exercise Bike

Overall a very good bike. Bought a year ago and over COVID it was great to have. The setup was a bit of a pain, but manageable. The bike seat was unbearable, had to switch it out. Overall the bike is sturdy, but some of the parts feel a bit cheep. The classes are expensive after the trial ends, but overall you get a lot of value out of this bike with the free one year trial to ifit. Not the same quality as the Peleton, but well worth it. I would totally buy again.

    Great bike!

Excellent bike, have ridden others and this easily compares with more expensive brands. Super smooth ride, extremely quiet, touch screen is nice, works well. Very solid, sturdy bike. Would have given it 5 stars, but only two minor complaints, would be nice if bike had on/off button instead of having to plug and unplug each time and the seat, thinking Pro Form could have spent a few more $ on a better seat. Let's just say if you don't have your own built-in cushioning on your rear, you'll probably want to get a better seat. All in all, it was well worth the money spent. I've had about 10 days and have ridden 9 out of 10. I love this bike. The free 1yr of iFit is also a huge perk, and unlike the other brands, iFit is considerably less expensive if you want to keep the subscription ngoing after the free year is up.

    So far so good

I just got this bike and have been on it every day. The bike seat is uncomfortable and very hard. After the first ride, as expected, it was shockingly painful to sit on the bike again last year. I've ordered a padded seat cushion to put overtop of the original seat to see if that helps; if not, I'll order a replacement seat. The pedals are the 'cages' which are fine, but I also might change those to the clip-in kind as seen on Peloton and other bikes. I did get a year of iFit and I did have to provide a card for auto-renewal. My husband uses this more than I do as I have access to the Peloton app and prefer that to the iFit app. I use the manual ride when I use the other app; down side is it doesn't measure my cadence so I might be buying an external device to track my cadence with my preferred app.

My screen doesn't fit on the mount, that's my biggest issue at the moment, so it's just resting on the handle bars. I've contacted ProForm and they are engaging with me slowly. To my husband, it looks like whoever welded the screen mount together flipped the part so it doesn't connect. The pre-drilled holes don't line up. Once this is resolved, the bike will be set up as it should be. I've really enjoyed it for the short time I've had it. It's a little pricy if you're looking to try a stationary spin bike for the first time.

    So things to think about:

    Price

Seat comfort (as it's very uncomfortable)

Possibly clip-in pedals if you don't like the cage

External device to measure cadence if you're not using iFit

    Issues with resistance

The bike is great and I like ifit; however, since this bike does not have incline/decline features like the Nordic track bikes, your resistance will be off for your rides. It will not match what the trainer does unless you do a ride without incline or decline. It is extremely frustrating, as the trainer will change your resistance but it will be the opposite of what it should be(resistance will go down when going uphill and up when going downhill). This needs to be fixed-I have called ifit and they have tried different updates etc. they say they are working on the issue but it’s been many months since this issue has been reported and they have no solution! If you want an accurate workout with ifit, get a Nordic track bike! This is not a Best Buy issue but a proform/ifit issue.

    Average bike - missing part

Nice bike. Seat too hard. Have ordered a replacement one. Geek squad assembled it and it had 2 right sided hand weight holders -no left sided one. Assemblers said they would order part and be back to put on. Have not heard from them since. Tried to call local store where I purchased it but after waiting on hold for greater than 30 min X2, I gave up. Hopefully someone reading this will take care of my issue.

    Quality could be better

I was disappointed with the quality of this mat. The very first day of ownership, I had my Schwinn AD7 on the mat. I lifted the back of the bike up, to enable the front wheels to roll, and the mat ripped!! Had to purchase black gorilla tape, to try and mask the rip, and keep it from ripping more.

Perfectly sized mat for my Schwinn 270 recumbent bike. No slipping or sliding of the mat as I ride the bike. The mat stays flat on the floor. It provides enough cushioning without being cumbersome to protect my hardwood floors. I got it on sale and thought the price was fair.

    LOCKED-Non functional

I purchased this item and was surprised to see a sticker prominently posted saying my bike will be locked until I sign up at Ifit.com. I get they want to sell memberships, so, I'm thinking this has to be optional, they can't hold it hostage till I provide my personal information. But they did. At that point, I was forced to make an account (tell where I live) and choose a membership level (provide credit card #) agree to monthly payments. Then there were some complicated steps to unlock the machine so that I could even hop on and give it a try. It was literally non functional. Customer care was unavailable and disconnected me. They literally held it hostage till I obeyed. I don't care if I have reduced functionality if I'm not a member. I just want to get on and get basic exercise, not climb Mt. Everest with a class.
