Great dryer. My first dryer where I can dry my comforter in less time. It’s a big dryer I don’t have my pedestal yet.

Only this brand can stackable. My laundry room pretty small but lucky LG can fit in! Quiet, steam cycle, fast are my first choice. Due to the large capacity of the dryer, I chose to put the clothes into the dryer after two rounds of washing. My dryer is on top of the washing machine, only 5 feet of me still can reach the button. Good to buy!!

The filter is a head scratcher, why a folding filter?Its somewhat annoying to have to open to clean but not a huge deal. The tabs haven’t broken as some reviews have experienced, but I don’t see how it would be a big deal if they did. It would still hold together without them.

A little loud, just like the washer, but I think that’s because of how the pedestal attaches. There is a gap which allows more sound out into the room. Bad design GE. It should sit flush like every other pedestal on earth does.

Excellent dryer with very large capacity. My only negative, it’s a little on the pricier side, but worth the purchase if it’s in your budget. Also these appliances are very large & tall, so if you stack them, you may find operating the top appliance might be out of your reach, if you are on the shorter side. My wife asked me to un-stack. To the best of my knowledge I purchased the matching dryer (GFW550SSNWW) and in my opinion the dryer door should have a metal ring to match the look of washer.

Great price high quality machine. Only company that makes bother washer and dryer doors reversible totally worth it.

Overall, we enjoy this dryer. It is super quiet, our laundy room can be seen from the living room and you cant hear the dryer running. Our old dryer at our old house was downstairs and you could hear everything. We enjoy having the wifi notifications when the cycle is almost complete and complete*this feature is wonky though, doesnt always work for some reason and its not our wifi but when it does it is awesome. My biggest complaint i have about this washer is that it takes forever to dry a load. When we first got it, the time on the cycle was about 75 minutes, its currently running close to 2 hours. On all previous dryers i had, i would just do a timed dry on high, had no issues. On this dryer, the timed dry doesnt give long enough choices to get my load dry so i have to use mixed loads setting and everytime i run it the time seems to get longer. Another slight annoyance is that sometimes ill start it and come back by a few minutes later and it has stopped running, no wifi notification or anything. I believe this might be because the on/off switch is super sensitive and i may have grazed it while moving stuff around after starting load. Overall, it does the job but is not perfect. The price has gone up $150 since we bought it, we'd probably have gone with another option we were looking at if it was the current price.

Bought this to replace a 10 yearold dryer . This drys quick, has several load settings and features. There is a LED light inside the dryer to see that missing sock in the back. The lint screen is easy to remove and clean. The only issue i had was trying to sync this to my smartphone. It absolutely refuses to connect. That however is not a deal breaker, because why in the world do i need my phone to talk to the dryer anyway!

We love the dry sensor, knowing the clothes will be dry the first time and not the 3rd run is amazing.

Purchased this dryer and set up for delivery. I live this dryer. Has lots of drying cycles and you can program your own favorite cycles. Love the window on the door and there is a light inside the drum when you open the door. Very happy with this purchase. We had professional delivery and setup. Had them install a new dryer vent That we purchased.

While we had a bad experience with our dryer (not working correctly) on the first delivery and then exchange was not done on time and we were never notified, Scott Ewertz was more than courteous and helpful throughout the whole process and very respectful. He resolved several issues immediately. Installation of the new dryer was great service as well. Works great.

The dryer dry pretty good. The only problem I have is with the door it's a little flimsy, don't seem sturdy enough.

I purchased the washer 3 months ago, as my old one had broken down. Well, the new GE was great, so I thought I might as well replace the dryer as the old one was 18 years old. I just received the dryer last week, and it’s the best one I’ve ever owned !!! I also like the app so I can see when the drying is done :)

Just installed 1 week back. Did couple of loads my washer shakes while it is in the spin cycle not sure weather the installation part is done correctly. I will be contacting Best Buy first and see weather they will help me with fixing the issue. Other than that everything looks good and I will be updating my review based on fixing issue.

Our dryer was malfunctioning from the start. It won't dry properly. It appears to maybe be a sensor? We have scheduled service, but that's 10 days out. Each load takes approximately 3 cycles to somewhat dry. Sheets and pillow cases (med/large) load just rolls into one large ball. So unfortunate. I had higher hopes for these machines. It took over a month waiting for this backordered item! Wish I would have gone with my gut and bought the LG's!!

This washer actually blew my mind. I never thought I would own a GE appliance but the reviews convinced me to give it a try. Not certain if I like the drying door vent or the app better. Typically we cannot hear the cycle complete but this app notifies you when it’s almost complete, complete and even sitting there for 30 minutes. The app also provides stats on frequency of use as well as status of detergent. The door vent keeps the seal dry so no more stinky, slimy door seal.

My only complaint was the service used to deliver the appliance was a bit rough. That said Best Buy took care of the issues promptly and professionally. Too bad Geek Squad didn’t deliver the appliances.

I spent a lot of time looking for a replacement dryer, comparing many different models. I ended up going with this GE model mostly to match the stellar washer, but I still would recommend it. Having used it for a few months now, I can say I am quite happy with its features, and its time to dry. The most impressive thing is just how many clothes can fit for a front loader. You can dry bulky bedding with ease. The smart phone integration seems a little gimicky, but it is nice to get notification when your laundry is done.

I'm absolutely in LOVE with our new GE washer/gas dryer combo. Great color, quiet cycles and overall great product!

Very impressed with this product. Purchased on May. Works really great. Lint filters and dry the cloths very well. Overall it is a good choice for a family. Also washer sync technology is awesome so that I don’t want to choose the dry cycle every time.

After 5 weeks use, it blew the 2220v breaker during a dry cycle. House breaker wouldn't reset while dryer was plugged in. GE service tech came out and found an online service bulletin about the power wires being routed up against the heater element box and melting the insulation causing a direct short. GE says replacement harness is out of stock and won't be available for at least six weeks.

Clearly buying this dryer was a mistake. Still waiting on a return call from Best Buy about options.

I really enjoy this dryer. It gets a lot of lent off my clothing and dog hair ( I have 2 big dogs) and cleaning the lint tray is easy. In fact, this dryer has the largest lint tray that I've ever seen! In fact, this is the largest dryer that I've ever seen! It is HUGE! Paired with the washer, it takes up the majority of my wash room! I can put a LOT of clothes, towels and sheets in there at one time but I don't overload it. I have really thick towels so I've had to restart the dryer a couple of times but it wasn't a problem for me. I can truly say that I am a happy Camper with this purchase so far. It was installed 1/19/2021 (due on back order) even though it was purchased 11/30/2020. I can say it was worth the wait in my opinion.

I have had a great experience with this dryer. It dries my clothing super fast. Sometimes when you get the clothes out immediately after a cycle you have to be careful not to burn your hands on the metal buttons on baby clothes and such. It has steam and a built in refresh mode. If you forget clothes in the dryer for a few days it is your savior. I have nothing bad to say but the wifi capabilities could be improved on the model i have by adding cobtrolability via the app.

This dryer dries very well, even when I lower the heat setting and duration. I have not tried the steam function yet, but am looking forward to using it to get rid of wrinkles. It compliments the washer nicely. It took some time to ship due to availability, but it was worth the wait. You don’t need to purchase the power cord that Best Buy recommends, as it comes with one.

Love this dryer! The steam cycle is great way to get rid of wrinkles without pulling out the iron. Its wifi connected so I can get notified when my dryer is done drying. It communicates with my washer so it knows how long to dry a load of clothes I put in..Best of all its American made...keeping jobs in the US which is especially important during this time.

It just works! It wasn't the matching dryer we wanted to get, but it fit into our smaller space, so we went with it. It didn't match the color of the washer we got, but who cares. It does a great job of getting your clothes dry, and the connected app tells you when the clothes are done, and if you need more time, it will allow you to tumble a bit longer so your clothes don't wrinkle. Very happy we got it!

Choosing a washer/dryer set was a lot harder than I thought it would be. There are so many new things they can do. So you really need to make a list of what features you need the most. I am a person who still ironed everything. That is, until I saw this dryer has a steam cycle! Even if I leave the clothes in the dryer and forget about them, there is a setting for steaming 1-3 garments at a time and a setting to steam an entire load. This dryer had me at STEAM!

Reasonable price. moisture sensor does a good job. seems to be relatively energy efficient. did not hook up a water line so have not used the steam features yet.

FYI the purchase date is listed incorrectly. I've had this since 10/2019.

I love this dryer. I have frequently used the different settings on it. It dries my towels in one cycle instead of having to reset it numerous times.

I wrote a repair on the washer... really was for the dryer - but it’s for both. I love this set so much - I bought it twice after moving and leaving it behind I bought it again.

Highly recommended. On the DRYER - the fluff feature uses steam to refresh a load you might not have gotten to fold in time - and gets wrinkles out.

I bought this dryer as ours broke. It dries well, however, the times on the settings seem to constantly change. Also the dryer lint vent isn’t very good. There always seems to be extra lint around the outside of it and under the vent. The steam setting on the machine is not that great either. Our last dryer actually produced steam. This one fills the dryer with water then dries on high heat to steam. If you end the cycle early, your clothes are still soaked.

Installers were on time, and completed the installation, including some parts purchased by me. Gave me a refund for unused parts. A good experience.

It was exactly what I wanted. It works fine, and you had it in stock, and it came and was delivered on time. I like GE, and had replaced the washer about 2 years ago at another store. Everything on this sale went fine.

Pretty easy washer to use. We bought it because it didnt have all the extra gizmos on it. Over all pretty satisfied, I just wish the lights on it turned red when it was done washing. Still a solid washer

I love this dryer. I previously purchased the matching washer 3 years ago. Very reliable and durable. At first the first dryer we got was defective which sucks but customer service quickly resolved that and scheduled a new one to be delivered and the defective one removed within a few days. The new replacement is amazing and works perfect!

Have enjoyed using my dryer so far. I have used GE products for many years, and they prove to be dependable and long lasting products.

Dries very quickly. Surprisingly old fashioned controls for the price but works extremely well.

Washer and dryer were purchased on January 17 2021 dryer was not available till February 24 instructed to deliver both on February 24 on February 24 only the washer was delivered and they broke the drain hose told me didn’t know when dryer would be available and to go to Home Depot to buy a new drain hose I had to upgrade to a better dryer to get it delivered the following week when they delivered it the left huge ruts in my yard trying to get reimbursed for the drain hose was a nightmare I finally gave up no more Best Buy for me

Do you really think they do a better job of drying your clothes? I have had high-end washers and dryers in the past with all the whistles and bells, and more trouble to go with it.

No, I like this dryer and the washer as a set. Works great, never an issue. Simple to operate.

I wanted a dryer that I could dry queen size comforters and blankets, but most of the dryers had too many extra features and high prices. This dryer is simple to use and dries everything faster than my old dryer. I’m really happy with my purchase. The guys that set it up and took my old dryer were fast and great. They made sure it was working perfectly and let it run a couple seconds to show it heated—they even left me with 2 boxes of Bounce sheets. They were fast—total of about 12 minutes. I did have to buy the electrical cords and pay the small amount to take away my old dryer, but still so much cheaper than the fancy dryers with features I didn’t need (plus If you get the extra features there’s more stuff that can break). I read other reviews and researched a lot when finally deciding on this dryer. Extremely happy with dryer.

Easy to operate, works as it should, drys well, and unlike 1 of the previous reviewers said, You CAN turn off the loud buzzer at end of cycle !

I'm usually not a fan of dryers with a "sensor" that determines when the dryer is finished. I grew up being able to control how much time the dryer went on for so that's what I'm used to doing. This dryer does have a sensor, but it is very reliable! I actually prefer this method because it doesn't waste energy. Once the laundry is dry it stops. No unnecessary energy wasting. The laundry comes out dry every time. No worries about wet laundry! I also like how easy it is to clean the lint filter. The lint filter is on the inside at the bottom. You don't have to pull out this massive curved filter on the top. This one is pretty nice.

While looking for washer/dryers, my husband and I were told Whirlpool and GE were the best brands from a maintenance standpoint. This isn’t the least expensive option out there but it’s the next one up. We’ve had it a couple months and love it! There aren’t too many options to choose from, which works best for us and anyone needing a machine with just a few bells and whistles.

Our only complaint is very minor. For some reason, the dryer doesn't like to stay connected to the GE mobile app, so the app will read that the dryer is off, when truly it is running.

We love these machines! Bought the matching washer as well. Our towels came out so fluffy I was amazed! You can see in the photo, the same towels washed in our old set on the left, and the fluffy ones washed/dried in the new GE set. Love the features! The refresh cycle with steam is amazing at removing wrinkles. And I love getting a notification on my phone when the clothes are done!

This is a huge capacity dryer! It has several pre-loaded setting as well as option to customize setting based on personal preference! It's working well this far!

This drier is very efficient. It gets the work done right the first time. It’s also beautiful. I purchased it a month ago along with the washer and I am quite pleased with my purchase.

This is a good dryer and I like how it has the option to just use a timer the old fashioned way. By default it relies on its sensor for drying but you can just bypass this which I do for my comforter. Everything else I use to dry, the sensors work just fine whereas large comforters are sometimes damp so I just use the timer. The light turning on when opened is probably the best part which I find very useful.

Got this set last year on black friday and we have loved them. The dryer has loads of settings and drys waaay faster then our old dryer. Plus they look really really good

Purchased dryer with matching washer with stacking kit and was installed by Geek Squad. After install & test run was completed by Geek Squad a small load of laundry was washed and put in dryer. Dryer is very quiet. Laundry came out completely dried with no damp spots found. Dryer is not difficult to program for whatever your drying needs are.

The washer has so many more settings than my old Bosch. Having done only a few loads of laundry-- so far, so good.

I'm not a fan of ventless electric dryers, but don't have the option to choose otherwise. This one is absolutely an improvement over my old bosch.

I really don't like BOSCH (they weren't my choice 8 years ago. Washer died after 8 years. I'm only one person. It shouldn't have died that quickly).

This is a STAR Energy dryer which is what I am looking for to save energy. I like the white color. It is stackable with the matching washer - a plus!

This under counter dryer holds way more than expected--if you have been to Europe, you'll understand that this model does not need a hose vented for the air. It collects the moisture from the clothing into a tray/reservoir drawer that you empty after each load.

Installers did not know about the Dryer and ran out without completing the installation.

I had to do the water drains and vent.

I purchased this product to replace an older unit. This dryer is much quieter and more efficient. As always, GE products are one of the best in terms of quality. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a new dryer.

This dryer replaced an eight year old Frigidaire Gallery Series. The new GE dryer is drying clothes much quicker. I have read some reviews complaining of the buzzer, but it is a nice feature to know when the cycle is about to complete. The nice thing about this dryer is that it has the right amount of dial drying features needed without a bunch of electronics that can typically cost a big service call if gone bad. Also the bottom rear of the dryer allowed enough room for the exhaust to go either left or right behind the dryer with it still sitting close to the back wall. I was lucky to find this as an open box item returned to the store because it was not a gas dryer for the first buyer. Photo shows exhaust located to outside wall.

It’s a nice dryer for the price. Only complaint is how loud it is and that it has a really annoying buzzer that’s sounds 3 separate times when the cycle is done. 3 times and it’s super loud!

When I purchased this dryer I was so distraught by the unproductive results I was getting by my previous dyer, I assumed I would spend all of my life restarting the dryer load 2-3 times in a row to still see moist results. When I noticed that this new one was smaller I was worried I may have been accurate in my assumption, but this is honestly the nicest . appliance I've ever bought. Thank you!

So far I am obsessed with them, and impressed with the many features they offer. They are definitely a huge upgrade to the models who don’t have WiFi capability. WiFi alone has simplified my past laundry process, which in addition saves me so much time now that I can view the cycle stages and the time frames, from my phone. What’s not to love about the alerts? Lifesavers sums all the benefits.

I decided to get this model over a cheaper one from GE with less features and settings. The steam functions are what drew me to it. The capacity is very large. It has no problem with a heavy king size mattress pad or comforter. It’s a gas dryer so it’s pretty efficient. We stacked these to save space. I’m not very tall but I don’t have problems using the knobs and interface to tweak settings. We had Geek Squad do the delivery and installation. Good service and a quick demo. Gas is more expensive than electric but if it won’t be too uncomfortable financially, it’s a better choice. I would recommend this product.

I bought this washer and dryer not too long ago and I am very happy with it! The darker colors are more aesthetically pleasing than the white ones.

The team that delivered the dryer did a great job. I could not believe that they carried out the old dryer and carried in the new dryer. Connected everything up and tested it. It worked great.

I taught for 37 years and I would give them a grade of A+++.

Works great. Lots of drying options. The lint trap seems very small, but we clean it every load we do anyway. Huge capacity to handle large loads.

Dryer does a good job drying (when you don't have autosense on).

There's a constant light buzz/ringing that this dryer makes when plugged in and not in use. I missed the 15 day return window so now I'll have a technician come out to assess. In the meantime I don't leave plugged in unless I'm using the dryer

Love the capacity of this dryer. Can easily fit a King size comforter or even King size pillow top mattress pad. Haven't used the app yet but seems like a nice feature for things like bedding where you know you'll need a second cycle. Only gripe I have is the fact the washer and dryer's white (color) doesn't match. Both are a form of white just not the same white.

included with the purchase was the option to change the door to open from the opposite side, which we were charged for. appliance arrived without this being done and delivery crew was not qualified to make this change. we also were not advised about the need to review the size and type of gas line hook-up which required more delays.

I really like dryer only reason Im not giving it a 5 is because it does not have steam feature which is probably my fault for not paying attention I do like that I can dry my king size bedding in a shorter period of time which is why I went for a larger capacity front loader overall a great buy.

Great drier, eady to set up. Drier has wifi functions when youndoenload the Smart HQ app. It can interface with Alexa. However it is some what limited. You must of course grsnt permissions to the Alexa app to interface with Smart HQ. When asking about the drier from the Alexia you will be able to ask it how much time is left. However i have not found a way to have the drier through Alexa tell me it is done. Except through the Smart HQs notifications.

Great dryer! Totally good with the white color for a better value (cost), and it connects to WIFI. Makes timing a dried load of laundry a whole lot more efficient!

Very pleased with this dryer. Does a fine job drying. Only minor complaint is that buzzer during wrinkle-free cycle buzzes too often (seems every minute). But better to remind me that I have clothes to attend to.

This item drys my cloths much better than the Samsung digital dryer I previously purchased my analog GE dryer was the way to go I also just purchased the matching washing machine

There was a mix up when purchasing the first electric dryer when it was supposed to be gas and we didn't check before hand but the gentleman was able to exchange it for us and we had a great experience. We've since used it multiple times and it's great! Efficient, fast, and it has a big compartment so we're able to fit king size comforters with no problem!

Works great, The dryer can be run for a specific time or dryer can sense when clothes are dry enough and turns itself off. Dryer vent has a lint catcher mesh so lint removal is easy.

Pleased with my experience at Best Buy and will recommend to family and friends because of it.

Seems like a lighter weight machine. (Bump it and it moves.)

Quieter than our previous G.E. dryer which was over 15 years old.

The only complaint is a LOUD BUZZER that goes off near the end of the drying cycle. It does it at least twice for what seems an eternity especially for our small dog who is irritated wherever she is upon hearing the sound. There is NO switch for ON/OFF, to silence this LOUD BUZZER. The poor dog paces, wakes up from sleeping and sometimes just stares at us, like do something please about it. We CAN'T, other than running and turning off the machine by manually turning the large timer knob. So, we either constantly monitor the dryer or let it upset our dog!

The machine does dry clothes, as it should.

The delivery came as promised. The dryer was undamaged. My biggest problem is that the website description where I did my shopping due to the Covid. It did not describe the gas connection nor did it locate the vent pipe. The connection was different from my previous dryer and the vent was offset 3 inch and I did not have room to slide the dryer over I had to cobble up elbow to make it work.

Needed a new uncomplicated dryer (roommates killed old one) and this one fills the bill nicely. Only reasons I do not give it 5 stars are 1.) the door closes with a very basic metal clip type latch that takes a lot of push to close, so roomies are shoving dryer back into the vent when closing the door 2.) the lint filter is about half the size of my old dryer and with numerous pets, it sometimes needs clearing mid-cycle.

So far so good. Just wanted basic dryer. Nothing fancy. Perfect. Not giving 5 stars cause the buzzer when clothes done is terrible! Can’t turn off!

Great dryer at a Great price. Only peeve I have is the buzzer to let you know the dryer is done is loud and an annoying sound but I guess laundry isn't the best thing to do so it kind of fits the task. LoL

We sent this dryer back because I realized it didn't have a timer so I had no idea when the load would be finished. It was my own fault for not checking better beforehand but Best Buy exchanged it anyway!

We’ve been waiting for this dryer for a little over a month, Because it was backordered. Finally it arrived, On time and professionally installed. The customer service was great!! I have purchased products in the past from Best Buy, And haven’t been disappointed. O’Yea!! This dryer happens to be the matching set to my washing machine. What a coincidence.

Great dryer! I love the big drum for larger items that just need more space to tumble and the fool proof settings for drying are efficient. Much easier than trying to figure out how much time to set the drying cycle for.

Just purchased this dryer and had it installed. It seems to work well, however it seems to take a long time to dry (I put towels in and machine is still going after 3 hours). Not sure if I am doing something wrong with the settings- I used both time dry and regular cotton setting. It does seem to be doing it's job, just takes way longer than any dryer I have ever had. And normally when I take towels out, they are very hot. These are not. It appears that they are going through a long extended tumble cycle even though I clicked extended tumble off.

Technology changes but appliances don't by much. Sure there are more electronics available and the interface may change but the basic underlying components have not changed in over 60 years.

So when it came time to replace my mother's dryer of 10+ years, this one fit the bill. No electronic touch screens or bluetooth for her to be confused by, just simple set it and forget it knobs and dials.

Its true when people say, "things aren't made like they used to" and since we live in such a disposable society with planned obsolescence, we'll see if my other gets another 10 years.

It seems that it takes longer to dry the clothes in this dryer than in my old one. The quality seems to be good.

When it comes to value, I bought this as an open box item, so of course, I got a good deal.

We were really frustrated we couldn't fit regular sized appliances in our small 1955 home. We did a ton of research to find something that would fit. We wanted a gas dryer but they don't make compact dryers with gas any longer. This was what we chose and we have been very happy with it. It actually holds more than we thought it would. The only downside is it's a tad noisy and since we have it in our kitchen, we can hear it when it's running.

Awesome small stackable dryer! It is amazing how fast this little dryer drys towels so fast! Love it.

At first I was shocked at how small it was! We needed something that would fit in a closet. It actually holds a lot of clothes, dries quickly and efficiently! Love it!

Out of box deal. Always pick up rather than delivery. The first one was shipped and heavily damaged.

The only comment I have is that the dryer unit is 1/2" deeper than the specs. They measured from the edge, and the front door and dryer surface is bowed. I had to do major modifications to fit it into the closet I was using for a utility area.

Love my new dryer. It does everything I need.it is a little bigger than my old one.

So far so good. Haven’t use it enough to have a concrete opinion about this product yet.

I had a basic gas dryer that lasted well over 16 years. I put stuff in on heavy and clothes still wet after an hour. especially towels. on heavy dry - I just want to throw clothes in the dryer close the door and hit start and are old dryer always dried towels in an hour- don't need all this fancy digital controls to dry clothes but this was available in 3 days the older models there was over a month wait.

A lot of unnecessary digital controls- I'm getting use to it.

Clothes come out clean. Can be a bit noisy at times . Clothes are refreshed

Had to get rid of a LG front load because it did not dry clothes or towels. I had to run multiple cycles. Not so with this dryer! it get the job done in one cycle. Definitely glad we made the switch back to the "old" style.

The pedestal. They were going to call me to reschedule. I had to call them. I spoke to the Resolution Dept and told them what was needed. When installers came they were not able to install pedestals. Now scheduled for Feb 20. I purchased Around Jan 12 but not delivered til Jan 25.

This is a good gas dryer it dryer our clothes good.

The machine dries our clothes. The previous dryer didn’t work. The only knock is that’s it’s not the same height as the washer we purchased a couple years ago.

Not much to say. You guys are ok, I guess. I don't visit Best Buy that much any longer since the pandemic. Used to go to the one near my house.

Unfortunately we have had a lot of problems with this dryer not heating up. We have had GE out to service it multiple times and the problem does not get resolved. One load will fry great and the next one will run and never add heat so the clothes never dry. GE service has replaced a lot of parts on this dryer and they just can not resolve it. WE are getting close to the end of the warranty period , we will see if they stand behind their product and continue to try to resolve the problems.

i love there is a light in the drum to see easier. i love the height as my grandmother has trouble bending over and its at a good height for her. love how big the capacity is. the buttons are easy to use. my grandmother figured out how to use it quickly as it was so simple.

I live in an apartment where I can’t have a regular dryer. this particular dryer that I bought from Bestbuy work so well because I don’t have to go outside to dry my clothes. I can do everything from home and it is easy, convenient and work excellent. I would recommend this product to anyone who live in a building that can use your 120 Volts. My clothes dry fast and with no wrinkle at all. Best money spent

The washer is bigger than I thought. It works great just wish all the accessories that was recommended would have come with the item ; considering the cost.

Pros:

It's super small (which it should be for a "portable" dryer)

Power cord and plug included (It says everywhere that it's not included, even in the manual)

Very quiet

Works with internal vent kits (which is fantastic because I bought it for apartment use)

Actually getting it was horrible. I'm guessing GE doesn't make a lot of these because it was supposed to arrive in mid November, but arrived closer to the second week of December.

The wheels aren't multi-directional casters, so it can't move anywhere. Just forward and backwards.

The holes on the bottom to attach the wheels were drilled too small. The holes were 7/64 and the screws were 5/32. So I had to redrill all 16 holes myself to make it a bit larger for the bolt to go in.

Third time being redelivered. The dryer I have is still damaged. As far as for item itself if it weren’t damaged. It’s pretty simple and convenient.

Best 110v dryer around. Being that we have a 220v restriction, we wanted to find a 110v dryer that really performs well. It was a difficult find since most dryers require 220v. Not this one.

I love that the info online is exact to the product purchased. We had a very tight space and this item "just fit". Easy to order and fast for delivery. Thanks you Best Buy.

Dyer works perfect it drys the clothes very well you can dry on high heat and on no heat it depends on you..

I needed a drier that would accommodate my in-ability to go to the laundromat during a pandemic and that would fit into an apartment without overloading the electric bill and the GE was the one for me!

This is a great little dryer for the space and if you have 110V constraints. Since it runs on 110 V instead of the more typical 220V I recommend doing a second spin cycle on the washing machine before putting in the dryer.

This is the third model of this dryer that I have purchased.

I really wanted this dryer to work and not have any problems.. for the location i have it, the buttons on the bottom was perfect but no matter how hard i tried to make it work.. it failed......

The first time I used it. It started smelling like burn plastic. I honestly thought it was going to catch fire. The second time.. water started pouring from the front door. And no, the clothes weren't soaked. After that I still wanted to give it another go and the machine started making the loudest clicking sound ever. Woke up my kids and husband from their sleep. It looks like the entire peace came out of place. Worst experience ever.

It's a great dyer, I just wish the buttons were on the top of the dryer instead of the bottom.

Good capacity. The specs were not clear about the electric cord. A regular 3-prong cord was attached - after I had a special outlet installed.

We are extremely disappointed that we had to make a service call after 1 month. After that, we were told there are no service technicians in our area. Really Germantown has over 100,00 people and no technicians within 5 miles of our residence? It took over 1 month to finally get service for repairs. don't confuse purchase date with DELIVERY DATE. They are very different. We had to call less than one month after the products were delivered and installed.
