    Thanks Best buy

Great card if you can get it for a legit price. Thank you Best buy for making it so I could buy this video card.

Able to unlock 70% of the full hash rate mining ethereum. LHR doesn't really make a difference anymore. Able to achieve 36 mh out of the 47 that the card is supposed to do mining.

    Better Than a 3080? I'd Say So

This is my favorite GPU that I've owned. Let me tell you why. Just a little background, I own basically all of the new GPU's including an RTX 3080 and 3090.

Performance wise, this card is absolutely no slouch. In my testing it matched or beat the 3080 in almost every occasion while using much less power. I recently upgraded my rig to a new Ryzen 5000 CPU, so I've been using the new smart access memory feature. The puts this card even further ahead than the 3080 in many games. I average around 200 fps in Modern Warfare/Warzone at 1440p max settings which is insane. To put that into perspective, my old GTX 1080 would get about 70 at those settings.

This card is surprisingly quiet! I did experience some coil wine for the first few weeks of owning the card, but that has stopped.

AMD's tuning and capture software is really nice and easy to use. There are plenty of options for overclocking, but there is really no need with this card.

This card really is targeted at gamers and if you can pick one up at retail price, there really is no better value in my opinion. I have the choice to use all of the new RTX cards, but this is the one I keep in my personal PC.

Incredible card for a great price

Gets great performance in really any game @ 1440p. If you're looking to game @ 4k reliably I'd probably go with something beefier. But anyways, the reference design is great and my card has kept very cool (even in the cramped ITX case I've got it jammed in to). All I can say is I wish it had a bit more VRAM. Running multiple displays + a VR headset nearly maxes it out.

Also, don't give in to scalpers!!!! It allows them to keep doing what they do. Look up methods for tracking card drops & camp out on the BB app Tuesday mornings. Good luck.

An MSRP card for 1440p 144hz

It took a lot of time out of my weekdays every other week for a month and a half but I DID IT.

This card is perfect for 1440p 144hz AND is at MSRP, which is a huge plus in these times with gpu shortages and such. The card is sleek and simple with the metal around the sides and built extremely rigid and is heavier than you'd think when you first pick it up.

Performance on this thing is a beast. For 1440p gaming this is the sweet spot for price to performance especially if you're pc budget is under $2000. The temps can get a little higher than I'd like to see, i sit around 68-70C, though i also have my case fans set to quiet most of the time with the 4000d airflow. I do sometimes spike up to 74C (it's been more common recently with the temperatures getting hotter and our AC not working currently), which is above what I find to be the thermal throttle line of ~70C, but just upping the fan curve by about 5% (and a little more on a hotter day) usually brings it back down to the 68-70C range. I have an overclock of +133mHz on the core which so far has been stable for over a month.

I have this paired with the 3700x (the 5000 series was difficult to come by when i bought it) and there is no bottlenecking at all. My frames are almost always 100+, except for places in ARK that have a lot of structures, but that game's also poorly optimized so that's too be expected. I play all games at epic/high settings which looks great and gives me plently of frames for it to be a very smooth experience.

Good luck to everyone who's trying to get a gpu, it's difficult but it's possible with some dedication and luck. I would recommend to anyone to join a notification server on discord, they're so helpful and the reason I got a card.

A beautiful monster; BestBuy ensured MSRP

When I embarked on my first PC build this December, I had no idea the state of the PC market (Covid shortages, new tariffs, crypto demand, etc). Right now is arguably the worst time to build a PC. I consider myself to have been one of the fortunate to get a card at MSRP thanks to BestBuy - it was not impossible, and was persistence of checking the website multiple times a day.

This 3070 Founders Edition was initially not my first pick, but after having received it, it is now my favorite 3070 due to being simple and beautiful. In my opinion, the only comsetic downside to the card is the lack of any illumination. This card feels premium and is really rigid. Despite the fact my case only allows for one screw to be used on the PCI slot, this card does not have any sag and is very securely mounted.

Performance? Well, the benchmarks speak for themselves. Admittedly, I am still in the process of setting up my new PC and have not had much time with it, but I am excited to know that this GPU should withstand my needs for some time.

    3070 is over 9000!

Very late review but still a review none the less.

As hard as this was to get, it was completely worth it! This is my first "new" graphics card. First owning the 970, then 1070 both pre-owned. Card is a lot smaller compared to those two, but has better cooling and power! Great for my ITX build. The card surprisingly has some heft to it even if its a surprisingly small card

I use this with the Ryzen 3700x and no bottlenecks from what I've seen. In RDR 2 all high settings, I've been getting 60-90 FPS. Most game all on High to Ultra are completly playable, and this is played on a 1440p 165hz monitor.

I was fortunate to get this card, so if you are lucky enough to purchase one please do! Good luck have fun and don't give into scalpers!

    RTX 3070 FE ITX Build

**THIS REVIEW IS NOT RATED BASED ON AVAILABILITY**

This GPU is fantastic. I built a desktop PC in anticipation for the new RTX 30 series cards. Specs: NZXT H210, i 10700K (overclocked), 32GB RAM, 2 x M.2 SSDs. Modern Warfare is at a constant limit of 144fps 1080p. Phasmaphobia is 240fps - 290fps 1080p. Heroes of the Storm is easily over 240fps 1080p. My system is completely air cooled with be quiet high speed pwm fans and Dark Rock slim pro. I recommend downloading EVGA Precision X1 and adjusting fan curves for case fans. If I don't adjust case fans my GPU stays around 70 - 73 Celsius. Adjusting my case fans when running at 60% speed my GPU will RARELY hit 62 Celcius in a room around 75 degrees. If you have a 1080p monitor you'll be extremely happy and run everything at max detail and max fps for your monitor unless you have the crazy 240hz or 360hz. Haven't used it for 1440p yet. This is a great buy, unless you have a 2080 ti you will go home completely happy and pleased with this item. This works well with ITX cases as long as you adjust case fan curve.

Best Bang for Your Buck! Patience is Key!

This card is honestly the best bang for your buck especially for the price point! Review starts under this paragraph but I know these are hard to come by but patience is key with these items so please do wait until there’s more or consistent stock to pay at MSRP other than paying scalpers.

At this price point, the performance is so phenomenal that it’s hard to fathom how much value I got out of this card. I’m switching from a 2070 Super Founder’s Edition to this 3070 TI Founders Edition and the performance is noticeable. While the 2070S is a great card and ran everything, the 3070 TI runs every game smoother than a hot knife cutting through butter. I’m running pretty much every game at max settings at 1440P without dropping under 100 fps; COD Black Ops Cold War is one of these. My temperatures for the card are pretty good too, I haven’t seen the card go past 75 degrees Celsius under load.

I also use this for editing and rending videos and it works just as well.

The design of this card is aesthetically pleasing with the two tone color scheme. This card took a similar design of the 3080 (most noticeably with the fan placement) while mixing it with the 3070’s design. The GeForce RTX logos do not light up like the 3080’s and above models, so FYI for those who are into RGB lighting. The only downside I can find about this card is that it uses a 12 pin gpu connector which you’ll need to use the adaptor that it comes with that may make your case look a little messier but you can always purchase an off brand 12 pin gpu connector to clean it up a bit. However, those last two points I just mentioned didn’t affect my score of this card’s review.

I luckily went to an in person event and only waited 10 hours to get handed a ticket the day before so I didn’t have to camp overnight. I just got there at 4 AM day before. If you have that opportunity, I’d say that’ll be the second best way to obtain these cards other than an online drop which can be a little more difficult. As with anything, just be careful when going this route and I recommend either befriending someone in line or bringing a friend with you to pass the time & hold your spot when you need to step out for a bit.

Overall, this card is amazing for the price and if you can get your hands on it in the future, you’ll definitely get your money’s worth. Just please be patient as these are slowly coming in more in stock at Best Buy.

This GPU is the rare Unicorn! 10/10 Drop-Kicks!!!

The Performance and Aesthetics of this GPU are the Tops!!!

I recommend this FE Model above almost all else!!!

If your looking for the best OVERCLOCKING then the next best tier level would be Evga or MSI.

But if your not the type of person who has to push their gpu to the ultimate power levels than this card is all you need for *1440p* (120 - 200 FPS) Smooth Gaming!!!

Finally got to build a PC!

I play at 60fps on my 1920x1080 TV and I'm a fairly horrible gamer so I don't have any major settings on just the default and it works just fine and only gets to 40% usage so I'm sure at max rendering settings it would do just fine at 60 fps but probably not at 120.

It has not over temped or gotten close during my normal 3 hour bursts of gaming and I'm just happy to have a graphics card!

I waited in line for almost 24 hours for a 3080 I got to settle for this guy and while I've heard it's not much better than a 3070 it was my only choice and it's working nicely for me and what I do. The power cable in the middle is a little weird but it works.

    Great Card for me

I got mine from the recent drop on the 1st. I waited 16 hours. I upgraded to this from a 1660 Super and the difference it's clear. I could manage 1440p with the 1660 super I had and got a decent amount of frames. It would hit 60 fps every now and then but would dip as low as the 40s.

With this card. I can have 1440p with RTX on and settings set to high and still get over 100 frames. 50-70 fps if I set the rendering quality to near max. depending on the game. I can play max settings.

I originally wanted a 3080 for that extra ceiling of performance but there were only 6 at the store I went to and 11 regular 3070s. So the 3070ti was the next best thing

Amazing graphic card plus it's incredibly quiet.

Pro: This graphic card is nice compared to my 2080 Super that was having some odd issues. Unlike my old EVGA card which never idle the fans down like it should. This one will idle the fans while you do non intense work. Excellent value considering is hard to find any decent graphic cards these days.

Cons: none but "I wish it came with 12GB instead of 8GB."

    3070 TI vs 3070

Absolutely amazing, I’m going from a 2070 Super to the 3070 TI which isn’t the largest jump, but still a great upgrade! For $100 more I’m not sure a 4% jump in performance from a 3070 is worth it, however this was what was left available from the 1 day event they were having, so I walked out with a card I wanted no matter what. If you can manage to get your hand on any card I’d say it is well worth any money spent on it. One thing to remember when getting any card like this is it uses a 12 pin! The adapter for an 8pin is under the card in the packaging usually. Don’t stress about it being different than the plugs you have.

Great value to buy at MSRP

Finally got the chance to build my own PC, I wanted to buy 3060ti but I didn’t camp outside the bestbuy, and when I arrived I am within the last 10% of the queue. No ticket for 3060ti then I chose 3070ti. It works perfect and I love the ray chasing effect in the games. Very satisfied to have this one.

A really good product especially for MSRP. Value is better on 3080, but this is beefy enough. Bought it for HDMI 2.1 support - rocking my QLED TV 4K 120 Hz.

Amazing product if you can get your hands on it

TL;DR: Buy this product if it is in stock and if you need a graphics card because it is amazing, but don't fear if you don't get it for AMD and Nvidia's new offerings in Q 1/2 of 2021, may provide the gpu that could be a better fit for you.

I got this product after refreshing the page many times on launch day and was one of the few souls who got it, I wish luck to the others who are trying to get it. Firstly, I use a egpu (external Graphics Card Unit) when I game because of my personal situation, and I was able to get it up and running within a few minutes. All of my games are amazing compared to my previous card (gtx 960) and I was able to play Battlefield 1/V, Fallout 4/76, Skyrim SE, GTA V, and RDR2 all at 60 fps+ on 4k High/Ultra settings with 1% lies in the low 50s fps at worse (RDR2 during a pretty strenuous scene) and 0.1% lows in the high 40s fps (also in RDR2). But please remember, even with my relatively good egpu set up, it normally gets no more than 80-95% then what you get in desktop, so your milage may very.

Thermals: It never got more than 72°C in my 1 hour stress test in unigen heaven with the very quiet stock fan curve that got to no more than 41%. The physical card is simply beautiful and it seems to use all of the metal as a heat sink and (don't touch the card at home, I was just curious for this review) gets quite uncomfortably hot, so don't touch your graphics card while it's in usage even though that should be obvious because it is a computer part. It admittedly warmed up my room by about 1°C with room set at 21°C to 22°C after about 5 hours of continuous usage (along with my 25w laptop and my smaller bedroom, this is an uncontrolled variable but is interesting nontheless). The airflow and cooling for the card is outstanding considering it is a 200w card and is smaller than my evga twin fan edition of my previous gtx 960. Great stuff!

Overclocking: With there being quite a bit of thermal head room, I felt confident in the cards ability to I overclock, and I was right. I was able to oc it with the core at 2085 mhz (+150 cc) and it was stable during my 2 hour stress test of me playing GTA V story mode. I was able to get it to 2110 mhz (+175 cc), but it was a tad unstable if it stayed there, and would normally fall back down to 2085 automatically in order to not crash. With the memory clock I was able to get a +1400mhz on the memory and it remained stable and there was no artifacting after that same stress test on GTA V. Ii was able to get about 3%-12% fps performance gains, which is astounding, but the average was more like 6.5-8.5% fps gain. With the stock fan curve and with these overclocking settings, it got to 54% fan speed at 79°C, and with my manual fan speed setting of 72% it sat at 75°C. I would suggest using the auto curve if you are a bit sensitive to noise, but if you're fine with a little bit of fan noise, I would suggest raising the fan speed slightly higher like I did. Overall, it's very impressive from my perspective. Note that overclocking may void manufacturer warranty on some products and may not give same results, so use at your own risk.

DLSS and RTX: I really only play one game that uses either that I care to use and that is rtx minecraft which works perfectly at 4k ~55-60fps and looks stunning. It uses DLSS for the performance gains of from what I can tell of about 15-20+ fps to make it go from playable to very useable. DLSS at this point seems to be very a future oriented technology which is nice, because it gives me some more hope that I will be able to use the 3060ti for longer than I would otherwise. But, right now it is still a very impressive technology.

Overall: This is a great product for $400 and although a bit more vram would have been nice, for $400 there is no question that this is an absolute buy. Although the review shenanigans that occurred around this launch were quite suspect, this product is still very good and I recommend buying this model or any other 3060ti model if it is under $430. RTX in my eyes is still in it's infancy, but very much a product to be used, and DLSS along with Nvidia broadcast is also amazing. Best Buy pickup was fine and they got it too me a day later than expected, but they brought it out my car within a few minutes when I did go to pick it up. Thanks for my long ramble, and I wish you luck on getting this card, or any card for a good price this holiday season.

Tips on How to Actually Buy This Card

Performs very well for the money. Beats a 2080 Super and is $300 less MSRP. Sleek looking card, honestly more appealing than the AIB partner cards.

I was able to get this on release day. Contrary to popular belief (and a shocker even to me), Best Buy did a much better job implementing different mechanisms to prevent bots from taking over with their queued/gradual release system and additional human verifications at checkout. It wasn’t without a few bugs though depending on whether or not you were actually able to place your order. I know many others were able to add to cart and take it all the way to shipping/pick up location but no stores were shown as available at that point (this card was only available for ship-to-store/store pickup on release). I think it’s only going to get better though once these small bugs are fixed.

I haven’t been a Best Buy customer for close to a decade but after this mostly good experience, I can say they’re better than Newegg and that they are actually trying to prevent bots from buying stock whereas Newegg won’t even turn on Captcha because it “hinders the checkout experience.”

Take it from me, a pessimistic graphics-card seeker. One recommendation I do have for anyone reading this is to add all the cards you want to your Saved Items List on the mobile app and periodically check it to see if there are releases. You’ll see stock changes on the list itself so you don’t have to go through each item page. I think you’re more likely to stumble upon releases than waiting for a stock drop notification on a Discord server, which would be too late by the time you get it. On release day, I did this and beat stock drop notifications by a solid 5 minutes. I’ve found most Best Buy drops to occur on weekdays between 7:30-9:30am (PT). Make sure to have your payment information in your account in advance and use the mobile app for quicker checkout. Keep it up, you can get one.

    Wicked Performance for the Price!

Ridiculous performance to the price. I've been playing Cyberpunk 2077 with a 3440x1440 monitor and it's absolutely killing it, despite everyone talking about bugs and performance issues. If you find the opportunity to buy this or any of the 3000 series cards, jump on it. I'm coming from an RX 470 so this is a huge upgrade for me.

In my Cooler Master NR200, I'm getting a max temperature of 65 C, and idle is around 30 C.

It also overclocks pretty nicely. My core clock is at 2070 mhz and memory at 8000 mhz and it holds both with ease.

An actual 3060 Ti??? And at MSRP???

I didn't even know that they were still selling these FE cards at MSRP with all of the stock problems and tariffs raising prices, but Best Buy came through. I learned about a drop of cards on the 9th from a discord with drop notifications, and with the 2FA and app I actually got a card. The build quality is amazing on this card and it runs Cyberpunk at 1080p any settings with ease.

An amazing card for an amazing price

The card has exceeded my expectations, whether it be Black Ops Cold War or Cyberpunk 2077, this card can do it all for an amazing price. Frame rate is always high even maxed out I still am well above 60, on Red Dead 2 for example the graphics are beautiful and I’m still well above 100 FPS. The card not only performs well but also looks amazing too, if you can get your hands on one get it ASAP you won’t regret it.

    Amazing GPU!

For the price point, this is an amazing GPU that rivals the 2080 super but at lower cost. My cpu is a Ryzen 7 3700x and 650 watt EVGA psu. I cap my frames at 144 to match my monitor and on Call of Duty Cold War and Fortnite 1080p low graphics settings this gpu holds 144 fps all day easily. I also used an Asiahorse 12 pin extension cable instead of the adapter that came with it. Best Buy did an amazing job at fighting the scalpers and bots by requiring you to input a verification code not only once, but twice. Everywhere else sells out in seconds to bots and scalpers.

This is the BEST price to performance card out the

This is the BEST price to performance card out there. At only $399 you get the power that a $699 (2080 Super) graphics card had. I have had absolutely no issues with my 3060ti. I have it paired with a Ryzen 5 3600X. I mainly use it to fly in Microsoft Flight Simulator, and I get around 30-50fps depending on the environment. I occasionally get a lag spike that drops me to 1-5fps, but driver updates and game updates will most likely solve those issues.

Best card out there if you can get your hands on it, would 100% recommend to anyone with a $1000-$1200 PC budget.

Amazing GPU (Undervolting is best to do)

First off, like the title, undervolting is what you should be doing, (unless your water cooling this GPU.) This thing out of the boxes with a fixed fan curve at 90% goes up to 88C!!!! That isn’t healthy temperatures long term so please do the following: make the Undervolt at 900mV (0.9v) with a clock speed of 1920Mhz. before you do that make sure to put -200 on the core clock so the undervolt works. I’ll put screenshots when your done reading the rest. Other than that it works amazingly well! VRAM temps are AMAZING compared to the FE. never exceeding 94C compared to 110C with my old 3080 ti. One last thing, make you sure your case has amazing airflow. it’s needed. And you may need a sag holder for safety because it’s HEAVY! Otherwise, a good GPU thanks Best Buy with your new queue system that helped me score this and not wait in EVGA QUEUE!!!!

I wish you all luck on getting it

Took about a week to arrive

Best Buy took care of the card perfectly.

Had no situation receiving my card from pickup.

Support bracket came inside the box, but didn't need it.

Had no problem installing the graphics card.

Need to have 3 PCI-E power wires that have a 90 degree plug-in since the outlet of the graphics card will be facing the front panel of the case, but you can still have room to use normal power wires.

Played "The Outer Worlds" on highest setting 1080p with no drop 144fps. Highest temp was 75 C (My case doesn't really have good cooling setup as of now)

If you're wondering how I got one, its luck that I was there at release and dedicating to refreshing the page for 4+ hours, worth it for me previously having a GTX 1050 at 2GB VRAM.

Hope the rest of you receive my luck and get one of these for yourself.

    MSI 3070 Gaming Trio Z

I was lucky enough to finally get ahold of one of these bad boys!! Now, I really didnt need to upgrade coming from an EVGA 1080 hybrid, but I decided if I was able to get a 30 series I might as well considering the great reviews and how old my card already was. This new 3070 is absolutely FIRE! I have also upgraded my cpu, ram and motherboard as well so all of that together is obviously going to be way better no matter what. But the performance that this card delivers is outstanding. Even at $800 MSRP you really can't beat it. It does run a little hotter than my old liquid cooled 1080, but lets be honest. IT'S LIQUID COOLED.. I have been playing New World in 4k with all graphic settings on very high and the card runs between 60°-65°c. Clock speed is around 1850 Mhz. I have no intentions on overclocking the card because honestly, theres no need to. You could and you could have better performance from it, but theres no need to. The ONLY thing I'm not a huge fan of is the support bracket they sent for the front of the card. The card still sages a little on the right side. But I mean, it is a huge card. Very well built. If you have been thinking about it, you should just buy one if you can. 100% worth it and worth the price! GL out there bois!!

    Decent card, great performance(kinda long)

Great performance card. The fans could be slightly better(feel slightly flimsy compared to the FE card). But performance and thermals are amazing and if you have a case that can fit the card it is still a decent buy in the shortage.

Use this card for mining ETH and while it is hash rate limited I got lucky with getting Samsung memory and with the new unlocks it’s getting close to 45 MH/s so not bad. Solid build and no cooling issues.

    Worth the wait...

I'm focusing on the quality after the purchase. I can feel better knowing that not just Nvidia is having supply issues as AMD, Sony, and Microsoft all seem the have issues with new product launches.

However the card is truly amazing. I upgraded from a EVGA 1070ti and pure horsepower of the new card is easy to see. Any game, max settings, with ray tracing... No problem.

I am using a 3440x1440 120hz monitor so depending on your screen your results may vary.

The card itself has nice metal back plate and the small rgb is decent vs the full bar on the FTW 3. I'm not a heavy overclocker and believe that this card may be limited in comparison again to the FTW3.

The one shocking aspect is the box. You'd think that with a nicer card that the box would be pretty good but I guess they are putting money into things that count.

    One Beefy Boi

Coming from an EVGA 980 I've had for what feels like 100 years I had to get another EVGA card because their warranties are second to none and my 980 had served me well for so long. Slammed this card in my build making sure to use two separate power cables to hook it up. Fired up 3DMark and Borderlands 3. 3DMark score was like 3.5x my 980 and I was able to run the BL3 benchmark at 4k Ultra settings at 64.38 FPS, which is straight nuts. Fit in my Meshify C without any issues.

RTX 30xx is the real deal!

Gotta say, I’m absolutely lucky to have obtained this card. You can get a card by refreshing the page so and beat the bots lol. Well this card has been a real winner. +90 clock OC and +200 memory OC at 107% power. COD MW and BOCW both will max clock at 2055mhz. Power level only ever hits 320-330 watts max. I do wish that there was an official EVGA BIOS that would allow us to hit higher wattage on this, at least up to 360 or so. But I can’t complain too much.

Overall I’m happy with my purchase and would do it again.

    Heatsink too small

Out of the box, the card can easily hit over 80C under full load. Other 3080s managed to keep under 70C doing the same benchmark and in the same rig. Also a few cm of the heatsink “sticks” out of the card and kinda ruins it aesthetically imo. They should’ve made the backplate the same length as it and with a cutout if screencooling was what they were going for.

My 1440p 165hz monitor works full time now. My best friend got me this card from EVGA directly while I was waiting for my step up from 2080 super which should take long long time. All EVGA products are top notch and this one too. Mine came with black lip which is better than red. Make sure to update firmware, driver and X1 when you upgrade from EVGA GPU. Finally my watch is over and BIG thanks to my BF.

Great Card w/ GREAT performance if you can get it

I've had this card for almost a month, and it runs amazing. Definitely run 2 8-pin cables instead of a single daisy chain so you don't under power it. The "boost clock" is 1755mhz from EVGA, but with it using the clock curve you'll achieve higher in game. Also using Precision X1 to overclock, I applied +125/+600 core/memory overclock, with power limit maxed out at 108%, and it's hitting 2085mhz in benchmarks and games. Check out my Time Spy benchmark results with those OC settings. Also using X1 to set a good fan curve, it idles around 25-30°C and hits 60-65°C under load. It's an awesome GPU, playing everything on Ultra settings @ 1440p, I'm getting 110-144fps depending on game.

They say the best 3080 is the one that's in stock. If it's this one, then you won't be disappointed!

(Side note: in my pictures, when I first built my rig, I used the daisy chain PCIe cable that came with my PSU, but have since swapped it out to 2 individual 8-pin PCIe cables.)

    She is a beauty!

Beast of a card. Runs through games. I had a 1070 card that was also awesome. On a 4770k / 32 gb ram which was more than enough honestly for games. I play mostly Dota 2

And battlefield. In hind sight my 1070 card is plenty good enough. I just built a 10850k /64 gb of ram

Because I had too much time on my hands and only wanted a beast mode card, This is it. I got an ez brand rgb brace for the card, but this card is lighter than my 1070 so it’s more for looks.

    Great performance for the price!

Finally was able to place my order two weeks ago after many attempts to get my hands on any rtx card. I built a new computer in January and was reusing sli gtx 960 4gb cards until I was able to get this one. After playing many new AAA titles at medium/ low settings so my old 960’s could handle it I became frustrating that getting an rtx card was so difficult. Luckily I finally got my EVGA rtx 3060 xc and I couldn’t be happier. I thought I would want more like a 3060ti or 3070. But to be honest this card runs ultra settings with ray tracing and dlss on call of duty Cold War with my lg 1440p 144hz at 60-100 FPS. That’s amazing to me and I am impressed wirh the performance.

Initially wanted a 3060 ti, but I cannot complain with this beast of a tiny machine. The cooling on this gpu is also stellar, never reached above 60C under full load. If you are looking to overclock this card, it will not disappoint. So happy I got the opportunity to purchase this card, as it is the cheapest 3060 on Best Buy. Overall, cannot complain with the performance of any of the 3000 series gpus.

How to actually get RTX 30 series

I was able to get this 3060 and you can too. Its a great card and will handle anything you throw at it. First, I downloaded an app on my phone called hotstock, and set the alert to 3060ti fe , even though i didnt want a 3060ti. Its what comes in stock most often. Then, i put all my payment info into the best buy mobile app, and then on drop day I got the notification, went to best buy, and added it to cart.

    THIS IS THE IMPORTANT PART

ONCE YOU GET ADD TO CART, AND THE BUTTON TURNS GREY WHEN YOU CLICK, **DO NOT REFRESH THE PAGE**. THE BUTTON WILL SAY ADD TO CART AGAIN SOON.

Once it says add to cart again, go through checkout as fast as possible, dont even look at shipping, if you have to drive 10 miles do it. Once you are at payment, you are safe, you did it. Congrats, have fun with the card.

Fantastic performance for a dual 8 pin design. More headroom available if you’re willing to void the warranty, but out of the box I’m hitting 70-110 frames on a 5120x1440 resolution with maxed out setting on Black Ops, 300 frames on Squadrons, and 115 average on Death Stranding.

It pushes high resolution Vive Pro 2 headsets flawlessly. It can Crypto mine on the side to make up for some of the costs while being a beast of a gaming and production card. In other words it can do anything you want and need for 99.9% of the population out there -> Best gaming -> Best production and professional level for a consumer card -> Best Crypto mining. Is it worth the price? Well if you want the best in gaming -> yep. Best in professional application without buying a much higher cost professional card -> yep. Crypto mine -> Yep

A lot of power in a small package

One of the more compact 3090's, making it perfect for small form factor PC's. It also comes with EVGA's superb customer service.

Doesn't have RGB, just does it job.

I do recommend making the fan curve a bit more aggressive though, I like keeping temps at low 70's and the default curve values silence over temps.

Powerful card in a small package that runs hot

3090 chip is a pretty powerful chip. It has 12 GB VRAM on one side and another set of 12 GB VRAM modules on the backside. So It gets really hot even during regular gaming sessions.

EVGA hasn't designed the cooler on XC3 to handle the heat from stock card let alone any overclocking venture.

I had to replace the thermal pads on back side (remove backplate and replace the stock thermal pads. This dropped the temps by 5-6C. I used gelid extremes. Put a 90/120mm fan on top of backplate if the temps are still high for you. Airflow is really important to cool this card as the heatsink isn't large enough like the FTW3 version and even the Nvidia FE model.

The best way to utilize this card would be to undervolt and overclock it (if at all).

Great card. Underpowered, but is perfect for most.

It's been over a year now and I am 95% happy with my purchase. Honestly, could it be a 3 pin 3090 so that we can have better OC?. Yes, yes it could. BUT at the time, this was all I could get my hands on. However, under all of the circumstances, this card has been able to handle EVERYTHING I have thrown at it. So there is no reason for me to complain. With a little tinkering with undervolting and spending time to build a custom frequency curve, I was able to maximize my card and hit 14.5k in port royal and almost 20.7k in Timespy extreme.

Been getting the job done for 2 months so far

Holding up well so far, almost been two months. Thermals are OK, they get to maybe 65C running at full intensity with a somewhat aggressive fan curve, mounted vertically and placed in a large full-tower ATX case. Great for deep learning on Linux, although when training models it does make some questionable faint buzzing/noise (originally was more of a click every training epoch but I then plugged my PC into a different outlet in a different wall and no more clicks, just some subtle whiny noises — could just be that I had a lot of peripherals plugged into that one outlet including a power strip). Happy about the size as well — on the smaller side for a 3090 so this could be a plus for you if you have a smaller case...check dimensions first though. Has some very occasional hitches — e.g. game crashes/lag and I’ve spotted some questionable graphics artifacts on the screen while training models once — but overall has been doing its job well. Hope it stays that way for many more years.

    Hail the BFG!

First, I need to give props to Best Buy: Thank you for keeping these at MSRP price, we truly appreciate this as GAMERS.

Secondly, this is perhaps the most exciting GPU for me in the last couple of years I have been building gaming RIGS.

Can't say I have ever camped outside a Best Buy the night before for ANYTHING!

Not even for a Black Friday sale!

But for this BFG, my only viable option was to camp the night before an inventory drop as paying 100% over MSRP is just plain ridiculous.

    On games:

I play Call of Duty and Battlefield at 1440p, on 35 inch ultra-wide screens.

This card is off the charts on performance, FPS and gaming experience.

I've never experienced this performance before.

Truthfully, you can experience great gaming on a 3080 or 3080 TI too, however, that would be boring and with this, you get an extra 5-10% on performance.

EVERYTHING is just SMOOTHER, CLEANER, NO DRAMA in my opinion and experience so far.

    Pros:

    - 1440p gaming is smooth

    - 170+ FPS

    - 24 GB memory (great for multi-tasking, rendering etc.)

    - Low to Mid GPU temperatures

    - Easy to overclock

    - Best Buy sells these at MSRP

    - Size

    Cons:

    - Inventory (of course)

    - Size (for those with small Cases)

    - Power hungry (don't use a 750 W psu on this, 850 W is just barely enough, I highly recommend a 1,000 W PSU)

    My machine:

    => CPU: AMD Ryzen 5900X

=> CPU Cooler: 140mm Enermax Aquafusion white edition

=> Mobo: ASUS Tuf Gaming x570 Plus

=> Case: NZXT H510i Elite white case

=> GPU: Nvidia RTX 3090 FE (BFG)

=> RAM: 32 GB Dominator Platinum RGB @ 3800 MHz

    => SSD: M.2 2280 1TB drive

=> PSU: Seasonic Focus GX-1000W PSU

=> Mouse: Steel series Rival 600 mouse

If you absolutely want the best RT performance....

I was previously running a 5700xt, but I decided to upgrade from 2560x1600 to a full on 4k display and quickly hit frame rate issues in World of Warcraft @ Ultra settings and Deus Ex:MD @ Ultra. Couple this with the new Shadowlands game engine being Ray Tracing (RT) enabled along with patiently waiting for CyberPunk 2077 now due in December and I decided to take the plunge.

A nifty, "THE WAIT IS OVER!" in stock email popped up in my box and I was lucky enough to score one before it almost immediately went out of stock again.

    Hardware wise, I'm running an EVGA Z390 FTW coupled with 9900k @ 5.2ghz and 32GB (4x8GB) of G.Skill B-Die @ 4000.

This card is pretty massive and expensive, but it gets the job done providing roughly 60fps everywhere @ 4k ultra with RT on high and shadows to high. I never knew WoW could look this good and be this beautiful. Seeing as this is my main game I play (and have played since Vanilla), RT is mandatory now for all my GPUs.

The custom FE heatsink and fan keep the card at 65 or cooler at all times while staying relatively quiet (my CPU fans get louder especially during raids). Even a mild overclock still keeps it relatively cool in the 60's. I absolutely LOVE the thick, industrial slab look of the FE heatsink with the lit up "GEFORCE RTX" on the top.

Is this card price:performance optimal? No, not even close. The 3080 is clearly the best price:performance spot within the Nvidia family even with the 3070 now here and as always, let your software determine your hardware; but if you want the best RT card on the market, right now this is it.

Everybody has their own idea of, "what's worth it." For some reason, people tend to have this odd, annoying habit of trying to tell others how they should spend their disposable income. For me, I wanted top notch performance and now having enabled RT in the game I play the most and at 4k, RT is mandatory now for myself and all future cards.

Finally got one of these babies!

Amazing card, obviously! After months of being out of stock, I snagged one when Best Buy dropped cards in the stores back in July. Runs anything you want as long as you're not bottlenecked anywhere else. You need the right display for this card, or you're wasting your money. 2k (1440) resolution at least. Oh...also, this baby weighs 7.2 lbs and doesn't require any sort of gpu mount due to the internal metals holding it up, just make sure you snug up the screws before letting go of this thing when you snap it into your PCI express slots. Runs quite and cool stock but I still can't wait to get it water cooled!

    The holy grail of gpu’s.

    The holy grail of gpu’s.

    What more can I say.

    Actually I have more.

It’s huge, and that’s an understatement.

    It runs wicked hot.

If mining the thermals need replace.

But its 3.0 backwards compatible so if you have a pc from the past 10 years you’ll be good and the 24gb ram is more than enough for anything.

Waited 13 hours in line abs so happy I was able to get one.

    Amazing beast card

Absolutely amazing card. Do not waist your time with the 3080 ti (way over priced). I’m running this on a 48” lg oled and it runs everything at 120 fps (tv max frame rate).

The build quality is the best I have ever seen with a gpu.

The card is a beast… HUGE! Get a gpu bracket/support bracket for added long term security and pease of mind. Having this said, there was no sag when I installed this card. Shocking since my 1070 and 1080 both sagged.

Got to the store at 5am to pick up this card. I was happy to see they passed out tickets per card. Therefore, I knew before getting in side the store the card I wanted was available.

    Best Card Ever

I upgraded my 1080 ti even though I didn’t need to. I am glad I did though because now I have incentive to upgrade to PCI E 4 and get all the other features like more USB 3.0 , ddr4 and m2 4x4 ssd. This card right now is hooked up to my 2nd gen i7 2700k at 4.5 ghz, 16gb ddr3, sata 3 ssd, etc. For such an old system it still can push this card at 1440p ultra but I do know I’m bottlenecked by the cpu but not for long. I am just deciding whether or not to go intel again since this 2700k just won’t quit even after years of being Oc’d or AMD since I have heard good things about them recently.

    The BFGPU

Aside from the obvious availability issues plaguing this generation, the RTX 3090 is everything I could ask for in a GPU. Loads of VRAM for TensorFlow and potentially next-gen games, 10496 Cuda cores and 82 RT cores chew through everything I throw at them, whether it be CyberPunk or Control. While Nvidia didn't explicitly market the 3090 as a successor to the 2080 Ti, it's obviously not truly a Titan card (lacking the certified drivers), which places it in a weird spot as far as gaming goes (double the price of the 3080 but only 15% better on average). Physically, the card is about the same size as the 3080 FTW3 Ultra Gaming I had previously, and performance is only about 10-15% better on average. Still, if you need the 24GB of VRAM and the beefier cooler, and can swallow the steep price, you won't be disappointed with this card.

Running on my Samsung Odyssey G9 monitor, Cyberpunk and Control both hover around 70-80 FPS with all settings on Ultra using Ray Tracing and DLSS. The card stays around 67-68 Celsius and is barely audible, which is a welcome improvement over previous generations of Founders Edition cards. Still, I would highly recommend an undervolt for daily use. I'm able to maintain clock speeds of 1920MHz at 837mV and the power usage stays around 350-370 watts in Control, and 250-270 watts in AC Valhalla.

Overall, very satisfied with this card, and can't wait to get a waterblock on it and see how far it can be pushed.

    Does it All

The RTX 3090 literally can power through any workload. It would run Call of Duty Cold War with Ray Tracing and max settings in 4K with no problems and even Microsoft Flight Simulator at a playable frame rate. Just make sure you have a good enough power supply to support the card.

    An overclocking beast!!

This card has sooo much overclocking potential! I put the ekwb founders special edition waterblock on it and was able to go +190 on the core and +1500 on memory completely stable. My card clocks around 2130 in games and 2175 in synthetic benchmarks. Its faster than many 3090's that I have seen!! The true potential of this card can not be unlocked until you put a waterblock on it. The stock founders cooler is not good enough to allow this card to really stretch its legs. If your into overclocking and dont mind putting on a waterblock, this card will not disappoint! I love mine!!

    very powerful card

Can’t believe I was one of the lucky few to get this card on launch day and I gotta say it was definitely worth it. If you have chance to buy it at MSRP, definitely jump on that as soon as you can or else someone else will. Was finally able to finish my first ever PC build with it and coming from console -it’s such a huge leap that I’m a changed man haha.

This card is an absolute BEAST and can handle pretty much everything you throw at it. Being able to crank max settings on most games and remain relatively quiet is really nice. Unless you crank up the fan speed past 75% you won’t notice any noise. Having basically the power of a 3090 but at a much more affordable price is a no brainer and definitely looking forward to overclocking once I get the hang of things.

3090 for 20% off. Great deal

Amazing card. 3090 performance without the size or thermal issues of the 3090. It does still run hot though, expect temps around 80-83 even in the best cases for airflow (this is normal though). Absolutely loved how Best Buy handled the release by making it in-person.

    Good

Big but very quiet. That's what I needed to do when I tell it to do it. It's gorgeous too. You do get a lot of performance out of this card but the price just doesn't seem right for what it is. This card should be $1,000 to be honest compared to a regular 3080. But if you have the cash to spend and if you're not going to be doing any etherium mining you can think of it as buying a cheap 3090.

    Hot, expensive, powerful

Hideously overpriced (by about $300 realistically) but an excellent GPU and with moderate undervolting does well with the stock cooler even in a cramped case like the FormD T1. This is definitely the upper end of realistic for a two-slot GPU though.

The classic Ti reflective silver texture on the IO plate and metal accents is great to see, as is the fixed font for the "3080" text.

If you have the chance to get this at MSRP vs. a 3080 for twice the MSRP I'd say go for it. And if you have to use it for mining you can mine ETH up to half efficiency and an alt coin with the rest of the GPU's compute time - even at the same time.

    Display name's my Reddit handle.

Overall I really love the design of the Founders Edition and the performance you get is incredible. Honestly besides the price being hiked up at the last moment by Nvidia THERES not much to complain about it. But this is card is for those looking for a high end graphics card and if you get the chance at grabbing it for MSRP…. Do it. Your wallet will regret it, but at least you won’t.

Worth every penny if you run an ultrawide monitor!

Coming from a custom cooled (NZXT Kraken G12 & Thermaltake Water 3.0 Riing RGB 240 AIO) RTX 2080, and using an ultrawide monitor, I can only say that my expectations are beyond what I had imagined!

As one other reviewer said, this is an OC beast, and smashes through framerates at ultra settings like an oncoming train!

Heat has not been an issue, though I wish there were some aftermarket brackets (NZXT?) for hooking up an AIO.

Great card, even with memory coil whine.

Probably the best AIB card that's out there aside from the Kingpin 3090. However, this is a halo product that shouldn't be used for your average (or even enthusiast) gamer. That said, for all intents and purposes, it's a very well built card, with some of the best VRMs I've seen in the ampere lineup.

That said, I have also received a card affected by what seems to be VRAM coil whine. I'm waiting on a waterblock to arrive so I can replace the air cooler. Some conversation within the overclocking community seems to indicate that the backplate is fastened to tightly and is causing the coil whine on the card. I haven't personally tried loosening the backplate on the stock cooler, but will give variable amounts of torque when the waterblock arrives to see if it makes a difference. If you're a gamer, tinker-er, and someone that benefits from the extra cuda cores for their workload, this is a fantastic GPU.

    Best 4K/8K Graphics Card

This is the BEST and FASTEST 4K/8K graphics card money can buy! Its price is steep, so please buy it if you are using its 24 GB VRAM for something other than just gaming. Its cooling performance is very good - my gpu temp doesn’t get higher than 70-72 C under load. It chugs a lot of power - around 390 W with the OC bios and can use even more power it if you plan to overclock further. It is in high demand, so would be lucky to just have one!

Awesome card if you are willing to pay the price.

I was lucky enough to be able to get my hands on one of these cards and I love it. Playing games on it is amazing compared to the 2080 super I upgraded from. The cooling system on this asus card does the job very well and it looks great too. The only issue on temps that I have is that the memory chips on the back get very hot when under heavy use. If you are planning to mine on this card to make some of the money back, this is something you should look into before buying, as it is easy to hit the 110 Celsius mark over time if not cooled properly. This is a very expensive graphics card and if you are trying to find they best value, this is definitely not the card you should get, instead get a 3080... that is if they ever fix the stock issue. If you don’t mind paying the price for a small jump in performance or the extra memory like I did, then this is a possible option for you.

    Awesome chonky card

Got a white card so I did a white build around it.

Was after a 3080 but this is what I was able to snag on a drop - not complaining. Had it for a few days now. Doesn't go above 70c after hours of intense gaming, super thick and good looking. Boosts well and performs as it should. Currently running all games on ultra settings 1440p, never dips below 70fps in heavy areas. Most games are 144fps, AAA titles range from 80-120fps.

Price is a little steep, like most cards right now. Either you wait until the gpu shortage/inflated prices go away or you try finding the best deal you can for a decent card.

You might be able to finish building your PC in 2022 or 2023. By then all the other components you bought for your build will be close to outdated. Good Luck!

Get it if you get the chance

Incredible price for the performance, this card crushes FPS at 1440p. Most games run at 165 FPS (capped by my monitor) at max settings. Lowest I've seen it was 110 FPS in Hell Let Loose which is a terribly optimized game. Haven't tried overclocking as it really doesn't need it, even for heavy gaming.

After purchasing, I saw some reviews that it can run a tad warm which concerned me. While this is somewhat true out of the box (typically sits around 74 degrees for very demanding games), slightly adjusting the fan curve in MSI afterburner to 80% at 68 degrees has this card running at or below this point while still being quiet. Highly recommend this small and easy tweak to prolong the life of your hardware.

Also make sure you use two separate PCIe cables to get full power to the card.

If you're lucky enough to get this card in your cart during a drop, do not hesitate for one second, buy it.

    Best card for the $$

Easiest card to get if you’re well prepared. I was ready to checkout when the card went on sale online at around 12 pm on Wednesday. I am a gamer and not a miner/scalper. This card is an amazing value for the money.

If you want one you just have to be committed & persistent and forget about the scalpers. Best Buy’s queue system works great, just get here first.

And for the card review, it runs quiet and relatively cool I ran cyberpunk just to see how that game looks with ray tracing and it looks great.

And lastly, the card itself is pretty big so double check the card dimensions so after that long hunt that beast will fit inside your case.

Only negative is that this card does not have ICX cooling nor lighting on the geforce RTX 3080 portion of the card (only the EVGA logo) and for the price I would expect that it would at least have a static light.

best bang for the buck 3080

Upgraded from a 3070 and found it to really bump up my fps at 3440 by 1440p. In The division 2 ultra setting, I got 71 fps on the benchmark with OC'ing the 3070 as high as I could. This 3080 got 98fps right out of the box (haven't messed with OC'ing yet). Really happy with my purchase... only took me 10 months to get it!

From pictures, I wasn't expecting this card to really look great in person, but I think it looks much better in-person and the mild ARGB looks great without being too much.

My card says its around 72c when being hit hard but the hot spot gets up to 83c and then I see some mild dips in speeds. Might look into undervolting to get that hot spot temps down a little.... Still fast as heck though!

This is my first EVGA GPU, I usually like MSI's as I have never had an issue with those gpus. But since this was the cheapest AIB 3080 out there, and since iv heard only good things about EVGA's RMA process and customer service, I am happy to try them out.

Best Buy has actually been doing really good with their online ordering, they check your account before selling you the gpu to help real people get cards and not bots. seems to work well, if you happen to be at a computer when they have a drop.

    EVGA GOAT

This card is great, and price isn't obnoxious like some board partners. I saw as much performance increase going from 3070ti FE to this 3080 as I did upgrading previously from 3060ti FE to 3070ti FE. The GDDR6X runs hot, but the stock pads are generally able to handle it. A repad will help, but is not necessary if you are uncomfortable with performing it. My only complaint is that the interior packaging is a bit flimsy, the card is safely ensconced in a plastic clamshell, but the other odds and ends just kind of rattle around in there. I would have preferred the foam packaging that EVGA uses for the FTW3 version.

    A beast

LHR or not, if you're a gamer, this is a no brainer of a card. It is a little sad due to the supply constraint and increased pricing, but this is no doubt a beast of a card. What makes it even better is that EVGA is prob one of the best companies to buy from. As long as you get one of their cards, you can always just use the StepUp program. Although that is besides the point, I'm sure if you are looking at this card, you probably have already done extensive research on what it can do in the popular titles. The cooler itself has been pretty good. Usually range around 60-65C after hours of gaming while the junction temp is around 75C, which is definitely a much improvement compared to the FE variants.

I used to have a one fan GTX 750, worked well for the years I had it. I spoke to a buddy of mine since I needed a stronger card to use a Vr headset. He recommended a 1650 and well I love it.

It’s not loud in the slightest, maybe with the exception of it pushing wind flow hard but that only lasts about 10 seconds at most. I’m finally able to play AC: Syndicate at a much higher quality, along with my computer not heating up as fast.

    Great GPU

Great gpu, actually as good or better than a 3070 when overclocked, love that it has 16gb of VRAM. Mostly played games at 4k like R6, Warzone, Cold War, Fortnite. It ran those games perfectly maxed out or tuned high/ultra high framerates no Ray tracing or anything.

Great performance but lackluster in features

This year has been extremely difficult to get a graphics card, I tried getting a 3070 but ended up getting this one instead. The cards performance is right in the middle of the 3060ti and 3070 and rarely outperforms it. This model I got is incredibly big which makes it have little to no noise at full load. If you want to game at 1440p with high settings you won't be disappointed.

    Thankfully

So I have used the 6700xt for abour a month officially. It is amazing graphics card with a lot of power. I do not play a lot of demanding titles, but the games I do play a lot are Factorio and Minecraft. They run great at 1440p+ and 144fps+.

The only con I had (which is not a con anymore), the Linux drivers on a lot of distributions were not ready till a week after arrival. That is completely fine because I just used Ubuntu with AMD supplied drivers until other distros picked it up. Maybe AMD should partner with some popular ones like Pop!__OS so they can get the graphics card before public release. This way drivers would be ready for the public with little or no complications.

The price is iffy at $600. I can agree with those who do not like that, but considering I like to hold onto my gpus for 3+ years... I am O.K. with that. My last GPU history in order was a rx580, gtx 970 and gt 9800.

I am glad AMD drivers are open source, and I am always glad to support them. Thanks for a great product.

After a long search for GPU's, I was able to land this one on its release day. It does what I need it to do and has a good looking design to it. One thing to keep in mind is that it has triple fans so it is a bit longer than other GPU's

    Great value

I'm using this card to mine crypto, and it's getting almost the same hashrate as a 3090. At such a lower price point, it's a really good deal. Also, Best buy is the only place a human has a chance to get one.

    Great card, questionable power delivery

I like the fact that this card is double the performance in many ways than the GTX 1070ti it replaced. The main concern I have with this card is the power connector. They had room to put a standard 8 pin connector but went with this proprietary connector...and the pins are horribly small. I contacted Nvidia tech support and they shrugged it off. Only 6 pins of the 12 pin header are even used on a 3070fe. I would feel better about this if all pins were used to lower chance of connector burning out. Good luck finding one and hope it last!

    Best gpu ever.

What a great gpu, this thing is amazing, we are talking 900 fps in minecraft without shaders or optifine. With shaders 200-300. The fans turn on automatically and the rgb lighting looks great. I would highly recommend and it does very solid 1440p gaming. I know they aren't in stock much but I would recommend this.

    Solid card

The card looks good! The backplate feels great. Card runs pretty good and I overclocked my card lightly and ran benchmark and performed in the 90th percentile out of all 3070 tests. The rgb is silly since it was just a little tiny strip. The problem I had with this card was the metal bracket. It was bent a bit and it couldn’t go into the case. I had to gently bent the metal bracket so it was straight. I had no problems with the “Gigabyte pin problems” but hopefully you don’t too.

    Mining champ

This small form factor 1660super is a champ. I use it for mining ETHEREUM and for 76 watts it hashes 31.81 all day long. It runs cool with the large single fan. This card has to have the memory underclocked by -502 in order to hash this high. I guess it stabilized and tightened the memory timings. 4month ROI

Great single fan GPU without over clocking.

The video card is of excellent quality has a beautiful heatsink with a unique fan of large dimensions and therefore very quiet! being an 1660 @ 6gb ram it works flawlessly on high settings with Cyberpunk2007 and Mortal Kombat 11

It doesn't come with a cd for drivers or updates but you can download from Nvidia's Geforce website. I've had for just 2 months now and no complaints as it works perfectly almost like 2080 card.

Decent budget card if you are ok with loud fans

Is a decent card for playing at 1080p at close to 60 fps on high settings. This particular card is loud and doesn't cool very well out of the box. Expect gam noise and rattling noises under load. After insulating the plastic shroud with foam tape and applying some better thermal paste, it works much better.

    Just wow

I don't appreciate that bestbuy raised their pricing on video cards well above msrp. But for being a big box store it was priced better than eBay and other third party venders. This replaced a rx 580 in my rig.

I had HUGE ideas of what I'd do with this card and in the end I still find myself playing master of Orion 2, StarCraft, and civ 5. It honestly idle mines Ethereum while I'm away which has paid itself off already.

Plays everything on ultra at 1440 and 144hz with no issue. It runs super hot. Like close the door, close the windows, and I'm sure I won't need any heat in the winter.

The best RTX 3090 you can buy here, at a cost

This RTX 3090 is more expensive than the other models, but it has much more headroom for overclocking because of the extra power connector. The cooler is beefy and you can throw anything at it (within reason) I just think it's too expensive, my only gripe with this card. If the price would come back down, I would recommend it, but there just isn't enough here to justify the markup.

    Great Card for Gaming!

I bought this card to replace my 5700xt. Got the card, opened it up and it turned out to be HUGE. It almost did not fit in my h510i. I had to pull off the fans on the radiator in the front. The card has great performance for gaming. You should be able to get above 75 FPS on all games and 125+ FPS on games like warzone and apex on high settings. Getting this card was a struggle though due to the shortage.

Tip: If you are struggling to get a GPU right now, try to get a 3070ti, or a 3080ti as they are LHR(Low Hash Rate) Cards. That means that they are not that great for mining. People who need a GPU for mining will try to avoid this making them easier to get for Gamers!

    Quiet, Powerful GPU

This is my first Gigabyte card and I am impressed with the quality and performance so far! Played Assassin's Creed Valhalla at max settings, 1440p, hovered around 75-90fps. Cyberpunk 2077 at High Settings with Ray Tracing set to High with DLSS Quality at Balanced above 60fps as well.

What most stands out to me is how quiet it is. Under normal load (browsing the web, idle, etc) the fans turn off completely. Temps are around 40-45 during this time. There is a OC and Silent options at the flick of the switch. I haven't tried the Silent, but I think the clock speeds are lower which means the fans would spin up less often. OC mode is what I'm using and my temps haven't gone above 65. Fans are quieter than my previous FE 2070 Super. I was also able to add +100 to the Core Clock and +750 to the Memory using MSI Afterburner.

The LED light is okay, not great. The middle part is dimmer than the edges. RGB Fusion software works well enough and uses very little memory (13 MB). It's a huge card, so check your clearance! Uses two 8-pin PCI-E connectors. There is a little sag so I also got a GPU support bracket.

    Thicc 3070ti

This would be an amazing card if it was $200 cheaper, for close to $900 you’re not really getting much of a performance boost from the 3070.

Other than the cost to performance this is still a great card.

With the increased heat fins and triple fan cooling capacity I haven’t seen the card get above 65c, even after playing BF5 for extended hours.

Having the choice between two bios setting is also a nice feature, I’ve left mine in OC mode since I got the card and have been impressed so far with the noise level that I haven’t worried about changing to the silent mode.

The rgb logo is a nice addition, although it’s not a lot it’s still a nice looking logo that looks well done.

The cards size is something you might want to think about with this card if you’re thinking a small form case, this thing is thicc! I have a standard sized case and with three fans in the front and with the card installed there is about a 1-1.5 Inch clearance between them. The size of this card also causes it to snag a bit, but not to much to cause worry.

    Over all a great card.

This card is a beast. Playing games as taxing as Warzone and getting frames in the 150 range (previous to the season update it was closer to 170s). Bonus as a regularly mounted gpu, the back plate is very nice looking.

Great card, does what I need it to do

No issues with installing the card and its drivers. Runs any games I've been playing so far without any issues. RGB is a little lacking and doesn't sync with MSI's RGB software (mobo is MSI) from what I've seen, so I'm just using it to monitor heat temps based on its color. I like that the fans don't run 24/7 when the computer is on.

    ASUS TUF RTX 3070 TI

Am lucky enough to be able to run Gigabyte AORUS 3070 TI and an EVGA FTW3 3070 TI with the ASUS TUF 3070 TI. Per my luck in the silicon lottery, the ASUS TUF 3070TI I have performs better with less power consumption at substantially cooler temperatures than the other two and others who have posted their results online. Is it worth the approximately $1,000 USD cost? That's arguable. If the price never comes back to Earth at the originally planned MSRP, then yes it would be since that would be the new bar. If it ever does come down in price, then leaps and bounds totally worth it.

Good if it’s the last option

Not worth the cost and performance value. If this is the only card in your retail store in time of writing this then I would say buy it and use it. It is only 5-8% slower than a 3080. But you can get a 3080 FE for $800-$1000 if you go custom PCB. Just be patient and stick with your 2000s series cards they are perfectly fine still for 1080-1440p gaming. 2080Ti is still a beast if you have one wait for the 4000 series card

    1660 super.

Great value for the performance. Only gtx card that has raytracing. And its ddr6 so its up to date with the rtx line. Runs games like a champ on 1080p with competitive settings. Handles 2k and 4k gaming with fps drop of course. But it will do 2k and 4k gaming. Getting around 40-60 fps in 2k and 4k settings. 90-110fps on 1080p settings. The Gpu fits perfectly in my micro atx build case. Stays very cool and I am running it on my ryzen 9 3900x.

For reference, it was on my i9 9900k and it ran fast and cool.

Also bought it open box so saved a bit more gbacks.

It fulfills my use case requirements.

I didn't break the card when trying to install it, so it at least is pretty durable. The backplate is nice. The fans barely turn on even playing Doom or Mount and Blade Bannerlord. They rev when I start a game but then shut off. It idles at 47C for me and goes to about 60 max. I use a 1080p 60 Hz monitor so my goal was to get a card that could reliably manage that performance and match up without a bottleneck with a Ryzen 3. I work from home so I wanted a low power draw when it's on very low use. It works.

    Nice and Easy Upgrade

Was looking for a little upgrade on my older system.

It had built in AMD video and my monitor is Dvi. I read conflicting info as to whether it would be plug and play or if I'd have to do some setting changes before installing. Went ahead with plug and play. On first boot after install it took a little longer than normal, then booted to Windows 10. A few minutes later, got a message that there was a software update to download and install. Did that and rebooted

Working fine. I do some photoshopping, watch some videos, and play a few games on the computer and it does seem to perform a little better.

An inexpensive upgrade to get a little more life out of what started as an HP 500-217c and has since has hard drive, memory, and case upgrades.

Simple Upgrade for my HP Pro 6200

My HP Pro 6200 was struggling with 4k Youtube content using the integrated graphics (Intel HD Graphics 2000). My upgrade options are somewhat limited due to the 240W power supply (max 30w at the PCIe port) and the small form factor case (requiring a low profile card).

This card has made a huge improvement and seemed to speed up overall performance a bit. Installation was simple. It would've been nice if they included a tool to help switch to the low-profile bracket, but not a huge deal. Drivers/NVIDIA control panel installed no problem. Being a WDDM 2.0-compatible GPU, GPU utilization now shows up in the Windows 10 task manager as well.

The computer is hooked up to main tv in living room and it doubles as a media center. Gonna get another one for my Dell Inspiron desktop midtower sized. That brings up another thing I like about this card. It comes with the brackets for the small form factor computers and already has the bracket for your full/midtower desktop computers.

Good for a low end GPU

This works as anticipated. I was trying to watch a YouTube video and my APU was at 100% use and not even playing the video back, so I decided to look into a lower end graphics card as I do not need to play all the fanciest new games or anything like that. So after about ONE WHOLE minute of pain staking research I found this. It was basically this model or a 1GB version that my local best buy had in stock, I went with the 2GB version just cause the price difference seemed too low not to. Supposedly it supports 3 displays I have not tested that I just have it running to a 32" hdtv as of right now. All my content now loads with no studder and my APU usage is now down to 20-ish% ("ish" definition: generally around this number but does fluctuate, never going above 40% under a normal work load). Also on a side note I am able to play Smite at max settings in 1080P so that's fun lol.

Paid less than retail. Had a $50 off code and a $5 coupon. Was able to get this gpu thru with ifixifixifix YouTube stock alert channel. Full disclosure...i have now 3 30-series cards, Founders 3090, Vision 3060Ti and this Ventus 3060. I have 3 pcs at home and 1 at work. I still need 1 more for the last pc in my house. Kids use the 3060ti and a crappy gtx 745 still. I use 3090 for my home rig overkill gaming setup and the ventus 3060 at work. Im a communication engineer using cad programs. My work pc runs 3 monitors and at least 13 program windows running at the same time. The ventus 3060 keeps up perfectly. On gaming its over 120 fps on warzone with all high/ultra settings at 1080p. The cpu is the i7-4790 and bottlenecks at 100% in my work pc so you can definitely expect higher numbers with newer CPU's. This pc is from 2015 and cpu only has 4 cores. Warzone is the only game ive tested at 1080p on this gpu. Good luck to all.

    Wouldn't recommend...

Not a good value for the price. Waited 7 hours in line and this was the only thing available. I was upgrading from a GTX 1070 FE when I purchased this card. Let me start by saying

almost everything in my computer from motherboard to case is MSI brand. I love the premium feel of the products. Unfortunately I just didn't see that from this graphics card. For the look and feel of the card MSI chose a flimsy plastic cover,No Led light, just a cheaply looking painted logo. Moving past the look and feel to heat. Remember I moved from a 1070FE if you remember correctly these cards come with blower fans. They say blower fans severely lack in cooling vs traditional fans. Well with this new card after installing the 3060 my temps on my everything in the case increased by 20c underload. This isn't my first build and I understand push and pull configuration with fans this thing is just a little heater. Moving on to performance the 3060 performs very similar to the 1070 despite being a few gens apart. I seen very little performance increase from switching cards. Overall the 3060 with 12GB is just a gimmick. Its for the average consumer that wouldn't understand why a 12gb 3060 doesn't out perform a 10gb 3080.

Don't pay premium for this card its a waste a decent second-hand 10 series card can easily out perform this card for a few hundred less.

Play on a TV for better graphics in higher frame

This card did better then I thought it would have! On my "TV".. It worked well in 1440p its and ran at 75fps, and in 2160p on my "TV" it ran at 30fps work the best in 1080p running at 120hz but it still does really well in 1440p on a TV. Now on a gaming monitor its best in 1080p 144hz and higher.

Wrong product description, inferior actual product

Do not buy this card, even though this was released in 2018 this is a SDDR4 version and the performance to its 2017 counter part with a DDR5 is almost 80% less. Please look at the Windows Performance as attached, this card gave a Graphics score of 5.8 and the one with DDR5 memory gave 8.1. Also the snapshot for the GT 1030 with DDR5 memory on Techpowerup GPU-Z shows that it is a Samsung DDR5, you can use the same to check if you receive the right card.

The Little Graphics Card That Could

Even in 2020, this little guy can keep up. I bought one to finish my first PC build and have no problems. My sights are still set on a 3070, but I can play pretty much any game so long as it's not graphic intensive. If it is, turning everything down can help, which might be a breaking point for many. I would not recommend this product to people who want to have good graphics or play the AAA newest games on the market, but if all you're looking for is functionality at a good price, you really can't go wrong with the 1030.

Budget card that won't leave you feeling penniless

This isn't a serious gaming card by any means. However if sticker shock has you scratching your head and wondering what you can do in the sub $100 range then this really isn't a bad card. I needed a card because I didn't want to use the onboard video with the I5 cpu. This card still out scores Intel HD graphics and I wanted a rig that could double over as a media center while keeping my daughter at bay for a few more years until she finds a real game that will choke this card. For now it just had to handle light game play, 4K streaming.

Good card but a little overpriced for the features

Card is a little overpriced for what it is but you take whatever card you can get. It's a tad slower than a 3070 so it's kind of in line with current market but all in all, this card is pretty good performance wise and quiet. Also, be careful of how wide this card is, it had trouble fitting in my sff case and i needed to get a 90-degree power connector.

An OC beast with great gaming performance

I see many people hate on this card in the review. I don't like this card due to it's ordinary design, but I really don't regret buying it after a week of gaming. This gpu clock can boost up to 1930 and remain 70oC with 2000 rpm fan speed. This is actually really impressive. True, this card doesn't have fancy design nor cool RGB lights, but it can handle any AAA title on ultra graphic at 1080P. This card is a OC monster, even it does not come with a super cool and long name nor looking. It is definitely top of the line performance in the 60ti family, get it if you could.

    Exceptionally bad build quality

This is by far the worst build quality GPU I've ever owned, and the thermal performance is just abysmal. Oh and don't let me get started about the fan whine.

I knew I was in for trouble when picked up the card, it just feels like cheap plastic all over. It's super light and fragile, and the exposed wiring doesn't inspire confidence either. But who cares about this, as long as it performs right? well it is a 3060 ti and it performs like one, but that comes at a cost. Put this under a stress test and the temps jumped to 75C in the first few seconds, for reference I had 4 different cards in that same case from EVGA, Gigabyte and even MSI themselves and I never saw temps that high. Sure 75C isnt the end of the world but boy the fans have to work hard for it, it started to sound like a jet plane when the fans ramped all the way up to 80%. This literally never happens on stock settings on any decent card, but with a light heat sink cooling has to come from somewhere. Forget about overclocking this.

Anyway if things were normal and I can just replace this with a different SKU I would, but if you're from the wonderful future where prices are sane and stock is available do yourself a favor and avoid this card.

    Great card, horrible software

Great card and great performance. It is definitely on the heavier side so a gpu bracket is a must. Don't know if it's the card or my board but it took quite a bit more pressure to go into motherboard than other cards in the past. I Upgraded from an asus rog stix 1070 ti and the performance is night and day.

Averaged around 120 fps maxed out ultra 1440p cyberpunk with 5900x.

Like the other reviews, if you are buying this card for the LCD screen then don't bother. RGB Fusion 2.0 is the most useless piece of software ever made. It does not work no matter what fix you try. So if you do get your hands on this card, just know you will be staring at a wobbling egg every time you look at your new graphics card.

Amazing card coming from a Founders Edition.Runs a lot cooler and quieter.I'm using a 38'' ultrawide so I went for a 3080ti to replace my 3080fe which I passed on to my son's pc.A little pricey but I love the look of this card so I didn't mind it.

    Giant

Super long, thick, tall, and heavy. No support bracket in the box. The PCB board will crack without the support and there will be no warranty if anything happened.

Good card, literally worst software in existence.

Honestly if you just use the card for gaming, it's quite good. The card runs fast and the cooler is pretty solid (getting better temps than an MSI Gaming Trio 3080 ti).

The software for running the lighting and the little lcd screen is literally the most frustrating nonsense I have dealt with in 30+ years of computing. Yes, I preferred dealing with navigating DOS to dealing with this absolute joke of a software product. It doesn't work. Gigabyte Fusion 2.0 DOES NOT WORK. You open it up and it shows a greyed out motherboard image and you cannot do anything with your fancy $1700 graphics card's lighting or LCD screen. I've spent hours and hours trying to fix it, tried multiple solutions, and had no luck. It's frankly infuriating. And what is even worse is Gigabyte KNOWS there is an issue and does absolutely nothing to fix it.

    It's good. But it's a little loud.

This review is with only 2 days of testing so take it for what it's worth. First testing it on Linux w/ kernel 5.4.0.77 and nvidia 470.57.02 and Windows with WHQL 471.41

Linux experience was flawless. I didn't even have to upgrade the kernel. I just went to driver manager installed the recommended 470 drivers and off to the races. In windows same ease. Booted to safe mode uninstalled previous nvidia drivers rebooted and installed new 471 drivers.

All testing was done with stock settings. No tweaking of any kind and room temp was 73 F (23 C). Monitors are both 1440p @ 144hz. One is pure gsync and one is gsync compatible and freesync.

First: 2 of my 3 display ports did not like my 10 foot display port cable. During gaming with gsync on it would blank out (black screen) for half a second multiple times per minute. Changing the cable to 6 foot cable cleared that up. And the middle display port seems to be ok with the 10 foot cable. To be fair the 10 foot cable is not the highest quality but my 1080ti never had a problem with it.

Second: This thing is louder than I like but it does a great job keeping the temps in check, so it's a trade off. And with as much headroom for the temps as it has I can slow the fan curve down if I want. The fan noise has not annoyed me yet....yet.

Third: It's a THICK boi. It blocked too many of my other pcie slots so I had to move it to the bottom pcie @ x8 instead of x16. I did not notice any performance loss sticking it in the bottom slot and going to x 8 slot.

Now lets get into the performance:

Idle power = 40 watts - board power

Full load = 355 watts - board power

"Natural" boost clock = 1965 mhz

    Mem clock = 2374 mhz

GPU temp = 67c full load for 20 mins

    GPU hot spot = 74c ""

    Mem temp = 74c ""

FPS in a certain title (while not being cpu bottlenecked) went from 185 fps on my 1080ti to 280 fps on this beast with same settings etc.

However many times the cpu becomes the bottleneck so the real world gains are only about 38% increase. For example one title benchmark that has some cpu heavy areas I went from 109 fps on the 1080ti to 150 fps on the 3080ti. So pretty good.

The price and fan noise is why I took off a star. Oh and the RGB and LCD screen are worthless to me. But eh..maybe you'll be able to get it to work correctly. And there is no dual bios.

All in all... It's a great card. Not my first choice but I was fortunate to be able to grab it. Very happy with the temps... doesn't look like I'll have to repaste or repad it. Performance doesn't quite go with the hefty price, but I've always been 80 ti person. This should serve me well as I don't plan to upgrade to 4k anytime soon, and I don't even want to mess with the rumored power draw of the next gen cards rumored to be 450-500 watts. No thanks.

    Decent Card, Decent Price,

I bought this card to replace the GPU in a pre-built gaming system. The MSI RX 5500 XT is nothing special, but it was better than the GPU that came pre-installed, and doubled the video memory in my rig from 4GB to 8GB.

This is no GTX 2070, despite having the same amount of video memory... but it gets the job done. It gives me an acceptable frame rate of 30fps on the ground and 40fps above 10,000 ft on Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 on the high end setting. If I kick that up to Ultra, it runs at 21-30fps.

That is a considerable improvement over Microsoft Flight Simulator’s frame rate on the stock GPU on medium...

Everything else I play from Shadow of Tomb Raider to Control can run on the highest settings at about 55fps at 1080p, but I think that limit is more a function of my monitor’s refresh rate and freesync. I would not recommend going any higher than 1080p on this card.

My one complaint is the height of the card and the position of the 8-pin outlet for the power cable. Using this in a pre-built system, case size was a bit of a problem, and I needed an adapter to redirect the power cable in order to get the case the close. Probably not a problem for most users, but something to consider.

Ultimately, this GPU does what I need it to, and it does it while allowing me to stick to the budget I set.

(Side note: the specs recommend a 450w PSU, but on a pre-built system, AMD states that you can get away with less wattage. Personally, mine uses a 400w PSU and I have no problems even when the card draws the full 130 watt TPD. Ironically, the stock card that came in my system recommended a 550w PSU...)

Good card after fixing the black screen.

Bought this card online new and it came in the mail cut opened with a box cutter through the cardboard inside the package, so it was shipped like that. Probably my last thing I'm a buy from bestbuy from now on since with problems in shipping.

But anyways, installed the gpu in my

gaming rig I built (Ryzen 5 3600, Asus tuf x570 plus wifi, 16 GB corsair ram, Phy 500gb m.2, 600w ps) on windows 10.

The card wasnt recognized by windows so it installed windows basic drivers with poor quality, downloaded the adrenaline driver for the card online and ran it when the screen went blank and never came back on.

I knew the computer was still working so I fiddled around by removing the new GPU and see if it still worked on old gpu and it did so I put it back in.

The problem was the HDMI cable I was using, I guess it was a lower quality cable so I changed it out with a 4k gold pin Sony Hdmi and the screen came back on.

Played some games on it and it ran smooth in high detail, and the fan is quiet.

    Unbelievable Product

Went from NVIDIA products for years, I have been running software for over 50 years, I have never seen software that runs hardware like the software (control panel) that comes with the AMD Card. Once you see the difference you will NEVER purchase another product from NVIDIA. The NVIDIA control looks like it was written by a 5th grader compared to the AMD Control Panel. Google it if you have to for screenshots and see for yourself.

Ya get what ya pay for

I figured a graphics card at 200 bucks would work fine, and it does, but it doesn't do much more. It works. Fine. Decent enough. But if you're getting a graphics card, don't get this one unless it's your only choice.

    Great card, subpar chipset.

It's not bad for what it is. Not gonna run anything new at max settings and give you any kind of decent framerate. But, if you're like me and you needed a gpu, and there was nothing else you could buy (literally) it gets the job done.

The card itself is well built, and the cooler is capable. Backplate is just plastic, so if has no function other than looking nice, which it does.

I really have no complaints about the card, for what it is. Buy it if there's nothing else. You'll be disappointed, but that's not the fault of the actual product, but the chipset it's built off of.

Not really worth it if it's gaming only

SLI for gaming is dead unless you are running software that can benefit from NVLINK's high-speed connectivity like AI/ML, complex rendering, CUDA applications.

Maybe SLI gaming works if pairing with a GSYNC display, but at least for my normal 4K 60 display(Dell U2718Q), there are some frame syncing issues.
