    Outstandingly bright LED projection system!

A powerfully bright, high-resolution LED picture without the heat of a traditional projection system.

Unboxing: Well-packed, encased in a Styrofoam frame. Simple packing, one small bag of papers (one-sheet quick start guides, a couple of info sheets) – low paper waste. The complete user guide is available online, which I did access – it’s comprehensive.

The projector came packed in a padded nylon carry/transport case – a nice, unexpected touch which makes it easily portable (I will be using mine outside occasionally for backyard movie nights). Two AAA batteries were included for the remote control. No HDMI cable was included, but with so many input options, that’s understandable. Speaking of inputs, there are 2 HDMI ports, a VGA port, USB-B, Composite video (RCA jacks), so plenty of interface options. I used my Kindle Fire Stick in the HDMI port to kick off my first viewing.

Picture: easy to calibrate with a couple of onboard trapezoidal adjustments, and manual focus and zoom dials. Powerful! LED system. At 11’ distance, the EX10000 casts a 9’ x 5’ image at 16:9 aspect ratio with the manual zoom dial decreased by about 25%. I couldn’t increase the distance to my screen due to space limitations but there was plenty of brightness and sharpness to go at least 20 feet. Even with pic adjustments, there is a bit of a blue backglow on images but not distracting.

The onboard speaker is crisp for vocals and some background music but if you’re watching movies like we are, external speakers are the way to go. I used the standard 1/8”- 3.5mm stereo headphone jack for my sound bar.

Epson iProjection App. I scanned the QR code on the Quick Start guide which took my phone to the download page. Worked fine on my iPhone XR work phone and Motorola 5G Ace personal phone to project Youtube and other images nicely.

Overall: No more expensive skin-searing bulbs, no need to kick on the A/C in our TV room from hellish heat output. We are remodeling and this is the perfect addition.

    Big Bright and Clear

This is the first projector I have personally owned. I was skeptical of what to expect due to my limited exposure to friends with projectors. I expected low light, dullness of picture and lack of clarity. My fears were quickly put to rest. Incredibly crisp, clear image with vivid and seemingly accurate color right out of the box. And this is bright!

My viewing environment is a basement with limited light. Even with the lights on, the picture was clear and I had to do a double take to ensure this was a wall screen and not an LCD.

After focusing and adjusting for the size of my room, I was shocked at how nice the image was. I have color approval training in my day job and was able to view RGB targets with a surprising accuracy.

I also expected to hear more of the fan noise and heat than I did. Eventually this will mount from the ceiling and there should be very little interference from that. Portable Projector

Picture is bright, sharp, and the color is surprisingly very accurate to the colors on the laptop sending the signal. Like not having the old bulb technology that you had to cool down before moving. Purchased for our church and even though it's not a long throw projector, it still works very well off a cart projecting to a screen about 10' high and about 20' away.

    Bright Feature-Full Business Projector-Great Image

Holy cow. This projector is bright. The EX10000 is a super bright business projector with all the connectivity you would need for presentations and streaming media. As a long time user of business projectors, Epson has always been my favorite. I’ve used a ton of different brands over the years in travel and conference rooms and Epson has always had easy to use projectors with features that automatically make the screen square (keystone correction) and made it easy to plug in whatever you need.

This is without a doubt, the brightest one I’ve ever used in a conference room. I set it up on the table projecting on a large (approximately 130”) screen and no real light control at all. And this thing shined like the sun. Its rated at 4500 lumens, but I've used other 4000 lumen projectors and I felt like this was notably brighter in the same room.

It still has all of the set up features like keystone correction, digital zoom and wireless networking. I used the content mirroring and it worked well. It has 2 HDMI ports so you can easily connect your computer, Apple TV or Amazon Fire Stick.

But I think what stood out for me was it turned on faster and was at full brightness quicker (I think due to the laser engine), AND it looked really colorful and crisp. More so than other business projectors I use.

I would even say that this would be an ideal unit to use in a media room or backyard movie night with the family. I read a review that said it could work in a theater room and was skeptical but the image quality is really that good. It handle greys and black tones really well and the colors were true. Particularly if you are looking for a home projector where you don't have to turn off the lights.

This is my first laser projector and there seem to be some clear benefits to the laser. One is the fact that it turns on nearly instantly and seems a bit quieter than a traditional projector. The other benefit is that toy don’t have to swap out lamps. This unit is rated on Epson’s site as lasting 20,000 hours.

Only a couple of downsides that make big venue home cinema is that it doesn’t have lens control (like lens shift) so you have to use the keystone correction to adjust the screen and the projector does not have bluetooth if you wanted to use a big bluetooth external speaker (but it does have built in speakers and audio out so there are easy solutions).

To be clear, This projector is for big spaces and I would choose a smaller Epson business projector for convenience in travel and for use in smaller rooms. But if you need a light cannon for presentations or for a media room without a lot of light control this would be a great option. This is a review for the Epson EX-10000 projector that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

    Business and Pleasure

My first impression of this projector is that this is an amazing projector for the office and your home. This project has great colors, brightness and puts on an amazing display for whatever you maybe presenting or watching. I have been using this projector in and out of the office for about a week now and I absolutely love it. Let’s go over the features of the Epson - Pro EX9240 3LCD Full HD 1080p Wireless Projector.

    Unboxing-

The projector came nicely packaged in sturdy box and inside the box the project was nestled in its black cushioned carrying case. So, overall the project comes packaged very well. In the box you also find the manual and the power cord for the projector. The projector has a very nice black finish, almost professional looking in a sense. The projector measures in at about 12 in W x 11 in D x 5 in H and weighs roughly about 8lbs, which makes it portable if you need to move it from room to another and also has a loop for a security cable if you need to leave in an accessible area. The projector has three mounting screw locations on the bottom of the projector and an option in the menu to allow you to adjust the display depending on how you have the projector mounted.

    Features-

So, this is a 3LCD projector. 3LCD is the name and a brand owned by Epson and gets its name from the three LCD panel chips used in its imaging generation engine. 3LCD projectors can have higher color light output than single chip DLP projectors and this is because the projector mixes and projects light beams through all three colors to form each individual pixel, while the DLP on the other hand create colors by projecting them one at a time. 3LCD also use less power compared to DLP and are also able to display a finer image as well.

The projector does have an adjustable foot on the bottom, to lift it up if it is placed on a table, and has a manual image adjustment capability to enlarge and reduce an image, focus and also to adjust the keystone depending on the location of the projector. The projector lens has a cover to protect the lens but also to mute the audio and video capability of the projector. The projector has 2 HDMI ports, Female VGA port, USB input, RCA input and lastly wireless display. So, this projector offers multiple input options which, in my opinion, makes this projector extremely portable.

The projector offers full HD 1080p (1098x1080) display with 4000 lumens and 16:9 aspect ratio. The lamps have a 5500-hour life span on full brightness and setting and offer almost 12000-hours on eco mode. The projector also has a built-in speaker which is not the greatest, but works well in a quiet conference room.

Split Screen Display- Ability to utilize two display inputs at once on a split screen.

E-Zoom - Able to zoom 2x into the display

    Freeze – Freeze frame

    Use-

So, like I had mentioned earlier that I have been using this projector in and out of the office. The wireless display connection makes this projector portable and extremely easy to use. I was able to connect my laptop to the project in less than a minute and my presentation was ready to go. The colors on my presentation were bright vivid and the best part was the text was easy to read and there was no distortion at all, and when you are done just pack it up and in its provided carrying case and you are ready to take the projector wherever you need. What sets this projector apart from the rest is its ability to project onto a screen even in a brightly lit room. Unfortunately, I was unable to take pictures of my presentation at work due to the confidential nature but I was able to take some pictures at home to show you how well the display works even in a brightly lit room. The projector does offer display modes catered directly to presentations, a blackboard mode for use on chalkboards, essentially eliminating the need for screen. The projector also offers a dynamic and cinema mode for use at home. I honestly can’t say enough about the wireless capability of this project because it makes it so versatile. At home even though I can connect this via the HDMI cable, I am also able to connect my phone directly to the projector wirelessly and stream anything off my phone. This projector offers the best of both worlds, for business and pleasure.

In my opinion this is an amazingly versatile projector that is easy to use and easy to setup in the office and in your home as well. This projector has performed admirably for myself in my office and in my home. I would highly recommend anyone looking for an office and home use projector to give this baby a shot. You will not be disappointed.

    Excellent HD portable business projector

I wanted to get a portable projector for two purposes; we do 3d printing and have a few clients that want to see the layouts beforehand. And the second is our HOA would like to be able to have a projector for the HOA meetings as we have a pretty large neighborhood “over 500 homes” and a projector would make it easier to show budget information instead of an old overhead projector we are currently using. I saw that Epson released the EX9240 Pro line and it looked like it would fit the bill.

    Unboxing and first impressions:

The projector came in a sturdy box, well protected inside by some foam framework. The projector itself was inside the included carrying case for added protection, there’s also a quick start guide, remote control, power cord and batteries for the remote.

We’ve been using Epson projectors for a long time now and this one looks almost the same as the Home Cinema models except this one is in a textured herringbone gloss black “nice business like color” and doesn’t have the big round circular lens ring on the front of it making it just a little more compact and easier to put into a soft sided carrying case.

The projector itself is pretty good sized around 12”x11”x3” and weighs about 7lbs. It feels plenty sturdy when placed on a table but light enough to make it easily portable. The included soft sided carrying case is a nice and welcome touch, it also has shoulder strap to help carrying the device. The case also has a large outside pocket that can easily hold the remote, power cord and manual, plus a mouse and anything else you may need.

The back of the projector has plenty of ports available. There are two HDMI ports, analog video/audio RCA jacks, USB A and B ports “one each” and a standard VGA video input port, along with the speaker.

The top side has control buttons for power, menu, home, vertical keystone, volume, along with sliders for focus and size. There are also indicator lights that show wireless connectivity, lamp life and temperature warnings.

    Setting up:

I have a portable stand made for projectors that fits this perfectly and makes it easy to have a nice level place to put the projector just in case we don’t have a place to put it where we take it. The rest is all plug and play.

There are slide levers by the lens that control focus size and keystone, there isn’t a lens shift adjustment wheel like the Home Cinema line has, you have to do your horizontal up/down adjustments by using the adjustable feet or my simply moving the projector around to get the proper alignment to your screen. After powering on it was simple to adjust the size / focus to have a perfectly clear image. I’m mainly using the wireless display option only with this since it’s built in and one less thing I have to worry about connecting to bringing a cable.

    Use:

I turned on the projector and used the LAN button on the remote to get it ready for wireless transmission. Then using my desktop computer “also tried our laptop” under the “Display” menu using the “Connect to a Wireless Display” option the computer immediately connected to the projector and set it up as a secondary monitor. You also have the option to use the projector as a mirrored display. We tried both modes and each worked flawlessly. If you monitor is a higher resolution than 1080 then when you mirror the screen it will fall back down to match the 1080 resolution of the projector.

The image was impressively sharp, extremely bright and very vibrant. I’m used to the projectors of the past where colors always looked a little washed out and resolution wasn’t that great. This one is pretty amazing with just how clear and bright the colors are. The 1080P 60fps is a sweet spot for image quality and affordability. All the 720 models I’ve seen/used don’t have nearly the resolution and clarity this does, and the 4k projectors are way bigger and a lot more money.

3d models looked great and you could really make out the fine details. It will be nice to show clients their work enlarged like this, and it makes it easy to spot anything out of the ordinary. Projecting power point presentations with my laptop was a breeze; the Miracast wireless worked flawlessly and will be so much better at displaying upcoming budgets at our HOA meetings, no more looking at a dim old overhead projector.

This projector is rated at 4k lumens “yep it’s bright” and a contrast ratio of 16000:1, that’s plenty good for presentations and even video demonstrations. The image quality is not the same as some of the Home Cinema projectors like the one we have. It has 2700 lumens “not as bright” but with a 70000:1 contrast ratio, which is better for watching movies but really lacks in brightness if the room is illuminated. The EX9240 is definitely geared toward business use with a much brighter image that can be used in a well-lit area.

Maintenance is pretty simple, there’s an air filter you’ll want to check and blow out, replace when necessary, but it’s easily accessible through a removable cover on the side of the projector. And lamps are a lot cheaper now too from the one’s I’ve used in the past, around $60 and they have a life span of around 5500 hrs on regular mode, and 12k hrs on eco, should last years with normal use.

    Conclusion:

If you are looking for a business class projector that will work great for projecting just about anything you would ever need to display on a larger screen this new EX9240 Pro is going to be the projector for you. It is extremely bright; color and contrast are simply amazing. This projector can project up to 300” which would be perfect for a larger room and audience. There are plenty of controls to teak image quality and to get it right where you want it, especially if you are mounting this in a permanent location “and there are mounting points on the bottom for a ceiling mount built in”.

The built in speaker would be loud enough for a smaller conference room but you can either attach an external speaker to the audio ports on the back of the projector, or “my preference” is to use a Bluetooth portable speaker and have it connected to the device you are transmitting with “Laptop/Desktop/Phone”, you really aren’t limited to the built in speaker by any means.

The phone app is pretty handy if you don’t have a computer available. I connected to the projector with the android iProjection app available in the Google Play store, and had it scan the onscreen barcode the projector displayed. It connected to my Pixel 5 and my wife’s Note 10 without a problem. We were able to display pictures, PDF files and documents we already had downloaded to our phones.

Fan noise should be a problem, while the projector does put out a good bit of heat the fan isn’t that loud “unless you are sitting right by it”, the heat coming out will keep you from sitting too close to the vent anyway.

    Love this projector, so bright!

A great projector! Ultra bright, easy to set up.

We’ve been bringing it outdoors for evening backyard movie nights (don’t leave outdoors), and it does not disappoint! Projects a beautiful picture onto the 120” diagonal [budget] screen from about 20ft away (could zoom bigger at that distance, but that’s the size screen I got). Our screen is in shade in the evening, and about 1 hour before sunset the picture is visible, but washed out from ambient light … still exceeded my expectations at that hour and kids don’t complain.

    After sunset it’s just awesome.

    Pros:

    - Great brightness, rich colors, easy setup.

    - Decent size & weight for portability, plus a carrying bag.

    - Eco/quiet mode is a nice feature! Even in non-quiet mode we haven’t been bothered by the fan noise though.

    Cons:

-There’s no Audio Out and the speaker is just ok (especially outside, it just didn’t put the sound where I wanted it). I wanted to use an external speaker, so I was able to link a Bluetooth one directly to the Chromecast (with remote) I got to use with this projector. You could alternatively get an hdmi audio splitter, etc.

-Not sure how to use Miracast with my iPhone without paying for an app subscription … I stopped trying to figure that out and just plugged in

    - Connecting via the Epson app was a little clunky to set up, definitely not a modern UI or the streamlined “get on WiFi” process that most smart devices use these days. But I figured it out.

    - Wish the app functioned more on its own to explore & control settings & menus directly. Instead it feels like the app is more of a remote

    A great professional projector.

I've only been able to use this projector for one meeting so far, primarily due to many meetings being virtual now, but I expect to get more use out of it in the future. It replaces an old 2500 lumen model that I've been using for a few years.

To start with, the projector offers full HD resolution, which is a step up from the XGA resolution I was using before. Even small text is clearly visible and readable on screen, where before it was blurry and difficult to see.

At 4000 lumens, it makes my old unit seem dim by comparison. Normally I need to try to reduce the amount of light in the room to get the best picture. If I can't, it was still serviceable, but not optimal. With this Epson, it doesn't look like that will be an issue any longer. I gave my presentation without having to adjust the lighting at all, and it was pretty great.

It fills my portable 100" screen at around 10 feet away, with the optical zoom at full, which is about the same as my old machine. I feel like that's pretty standard and has been for awhile on units that aren't short-throw.

Audio is serviceable, but a little tinny. Fine for most business uses and presentations, but probably not something you'll want to use for movie night (if that's your goal) without some sort of audio solution.

I'm a little surprised that it has no audio output, though. That seems like a basic function.

The shutter for the lens is manually operated, as is optical zoom. It will automatically adjust the keystone to a set degree if the device is tilted beyond a certain threshold to make adjusting the image easier. It has your standard H/V keystone adjustments, and an optional four corners adjustment, which is very handy for ceiling mounts where you might not be dead center with the screen.

Although I don't intend to use it for video purposes, I did play back some video for the purpose of this review and there wasn't any particular ghosting that I noticed. The picture was crisp and clear and held up to motion without any problems.

This model has WiFi connectivity. I don't have much of a use for it, but I did test the Miracast function with my Win10 laptop and it worked seamlessly. It does come with a small amount of input lag, but that's a small price to pay to be able to roam around the room with your tablet, for instance.

The black finish looks sleek and high end, and the included carrying case is well padded to protect the projector, and includes space for the remote and cables.

All in all, this is a fantastic professional projector.

    Amazing quality, easy travel

I was always in the market for a portable projector. As the Palliative Care Chaplain at a major hospital in Los Angeles, I am required to give lectures on best practices of supporting patients and their families. Many times, I don't have the luxury of a projector or a wide screen television to connect my computer or tablet for presentations. Low and behold, this Epson EX9240 gives me that mobility and screen utilization that I need. After a few weeks of usage, here are my thoughts:

    Pros:

-Set up: This is a breeze to set up. Plug iin the power source, set up is easy step-by-step process when connected to my device(s). I was happy to find that it came with a remote control which took me some time to get used to. Setting up wireless was pretty simple and painless. The biggest issue I had with set up was making sure it was leveled as it has 1 leg in the front. If you are on a uneven surface, it will show on the screen.

-Screen Quality: This is where the Epson shines. I got an amazing clear and crisp screen, even with a wall that has some texture to it, you could not tell because of this screen quality. You have 1080P quality with 4k lumens. When used in a dark room, the screen colors of my PowerPoint presentations were vibrant and bright. I even decided to view some movies/documentaries that I would incorporate into my meetings and the screen quality is still very sharp.

-Sound: This comes with a speaker built in so you are able to have some sound with what you are projecting which is a nice addition. More on this later.

-Connection Ports: You have so many options to choose from here. You have an HDMI (x2), USB-A, and standard Audio Cables and Computer Monitor ports. I really enjoy using the USB-A because I have many presentations saved on my Flash Drives that I saved from my work computer.

-Carrying Case: Thank you for adding this canvas travelling case. I was worried that I would have to purchase one separately, but thankfully one was included. This comes in handy when moving from meeting to another.

    Cons:

-Sound: as stated earlier, this comes with a built in speaker. Unfortunately, it is not very loud and would need a separate sound system if you want to incorporate audio into your presentations.

    Conclusions:

This is a great projector for my work purposes. I am able to be more mobile and free from any logistics shortfalls. This is a must for any home business or those who do presentations.

This is a higher end projector

Connected this projector to my Apple Tv and was blown away with the video quality. The colors were very detailed lots of connections on the back 2 HDMI, Usb and audio ports. The projector did put out a lot of heat but that didn't effect the play back at all. The speakers were not bad at all buy others may want an external set of speakers.

    The Office Hero

Getting things together for a presentation can be kind of a pain. Lugging around the laptops, screens, projectors and wires. All pretty essential when it comes to getting your point across in the board room. But thanks to the Pro EX9240 3LCD Full HD 1080p Wireless Projector, I walked into the conference room and stole the show with just my smartphone. Right out of the box, you get a nice black carrying bag to house the beautiful black projector and its included power cord, a white remote control( But the projector is black...Come on Epson) and a couple of cheap AA batteries, that should last you quite a while, especially if you just opt to put your own batteries in and save those for when you're desperate. It was super easy to set up( simply by scanning the QR code on the screen and I was off to the races. I did a test run while no one was in the room just to make sure things went off without a hitch. It was Super easy. Barely an inconvenience. However, that's not the only way to connect to this office juggernaut. You can connect your PC directly or through LAN connectivity. HDMI is supported as well. The sound quality is plenty loud enough to get the presentation moving along, but if you really want to crank up the sound, there are connections for video/audio ( red, yellow and white ports). Again, not at all necessary. The best wireless connectivity comes via the Epson Projector App( available on the Apple store or Google Play store) Just download and connect. As always, the only downfall is the price tag. Coming in at $849.99 USD, it can be a bit pricey. But I honestly have to say. If you want a quality projector for home or the office, expect to spend, at the very least, $300 USD. Anything less and you're just selling yourself short at that point. (IMO, of course) But that white remote though??

All in all, I think this would make for a great addition to any office. Also, I think I just got a raise, myself, so that's something.

Alot to Offer But Falls Short

From using this product, you can tell that this projector was designed with the professional in mind. However, the execution does miss the mark in some areas. Let's start off with the good. The sound is great, and picture is very bright. Also, Epson gives the consumer a wide range of connection options. You have VGA, RCA, HDMI, USB, and Miracast making this item practical for the school, office, home, and on the go. The inclusion of a carrying case was a nice bonus as well. Despite the availability of choices, picture quality is only great from the HDMI ports. Although Miracast technology is new, I was so disappointed in how it looked when I decided to "cast" my phone screen when presenting. It resembled closer to the appearance of USB or RCA rather than HDMI. The Android app for setting up Miracast worked well. However, the supporting software on PC seems very antiquated in design and user experience. I really wanted to like this projector more, but only the HDMI ports are best options for picture quality. The projector does get warm and a little noisy, but it's not anything concerning.

    Movie night upgraded

I researched many models, and this one was a win for me with blutooth connection, HDMI, and a remote to adjust the sound from your own speakers.

I set this projector up in my small bedroom. At about 8 feet back it makes around an 80-inch picture. (The further back you place the projector the bigger your picture will be.) No background screen needed! We just project it onto the white wall. My kids love to lay on the floor with their blankets or on the bed with me and have family movie nights.

The picture is crisp and clear at night with the lights off. At sunset the picture is just okay. Says 720p, looks 1080p. Realistic coloring.

Fan is very low, really can't hear it. Sound from speakers are lousey, but I hooked up my megaboom speaker via blutooth easily for great sound. Mouth is off sync slightly, but I've read there's an adapter cord that can plus into most blutooth speakers. It's not enough off sync to bother us though.

HDMI hookup allows me to hook up to our blu ray player or Roku box.

I've read in a review that LG batteries are not replaceable and once the battery dies you can't use this unit anymore. Battery life depends on how often you use it, but dies out at only about two years. So, I won't be using the battery for this. Best Buy warranty may be a good option for those wanting to use the battery.

The two pictures I attached show sunset (blinds closed) viewing versus completely dark.

    Pros:

    HDMI port.

    Remote.

Bluetooth to hook up a small speaker.

    HD. Crisp clear picture.

    Quiet fan.

    Tiny and portable.

    Cons:

Poor speakers (this is for most projectors under $1,000)

Has to be in a mostly dark in a room (That's most projectors).

Possible battery issues in the future.

    Great for movies

The LG CineBeam is a compact, extremely versatile video projector. It is equipped with a battery, so it can used where no connection to AC power is available. The picture quality is excellent. It is also an excellent candidate for use as a home theater projector. I was even able to pair to outside speakers, which allows me to set up a surround sound effect, it sounded great. I'm projecting from about 15ft away onto a wall and the image is plenty bright, even with some ambient light in the room things are still watchable. Something really noticeable, especially how vivid everything looks. The colors are really vibrant. The throw distance i'm using is about as far away from my screen as i can while not making the image too large. One drawback is that there is no height adjustment. If the image is too low on the screen or wall or whatever you’re projecting on, you will have to find something to set it on. It’s small size and light weight make it an excellent candidate for use as a portable projector, but the lack of height adjustment would need to be kept in mind. Out of the box, the unit is easy to set up. Put the included batteries in the included remote control and then simply plug it in and turn it on. It will take you through setup menus for time, date, location, and sources of programming. I put in my fire stick and it works well and the movies look great on the screen and the sound is good enough you won't be disappointed I definitely recommend this

    The best portable projector.

The LG CineBeam PH30N delivers good performance for image quality, and balance of image quality, small size, and brightness is easily good enough to serve nicely in a small conference room or for anyone who needs a bright projector they can take with them on the go. Truly surprised how good this projector works. Being able to have a truly wireless projector is amazing, even being able to pair to outside speakers, allows me to set up a surround sound effect. Add in a streaming device and you won't need anything else plugged in. It allow for you to throw video right from a phone or laptop without the HDMI and i connect a mini Sega and NES system and work perfectly. Battery last 2 hours perfect for a movie night in the yard. What i love about this mini projector is that Delivers resolution equivalent to 720p on screen, using a 960x540 micromirror chip and XPR fast pixel shifting, Accepts 1080p input, Supports Bluetooth audio (in addition to having a 3.5mm audio out port) with Bluetooth AV sync adjustment and Built-in rechargeable battery that last 2 hours all this perfect for on the go.

    Big Picture, Tiny Size

First of, I want to say that this little projector blew my mind from what I was expecting. Its small an light. I was able to mount it on a camera tripod for portable use and it worked perfectly. I liked that it will automatically adjust the angle for you but you can still manually do it if necessary. The menus are easy to use and see. I was able to connect our Bluetooth portable speaker to it for the audio. The built-in audio is ok, but I really recommend you connect your own speaker to it. On battery we were able to watch a 2 an a half long video with no problems. I connected my phone and watched a musical from a streaming service. We watched it projecting on the wall and the color and quality were really good. I purchased a screen online and my kids tried it in there room where they connected their video game console and played on it. The colors looked great and it play perfectly with no lag. It was very bright for being just an LED projector. It's not bright enough to see in a brightly lit room, but in the dark, it works really well. We haven't had a chance to take it out camping yet since the weather is still to hot in the desert. We'll be projecting on the side of the trailer soon. I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review.

    Convenient Portable Projector

The wife and I bought this for backyard movie nights and so far it has not disappointed. I love how small and compact this projector is and the set up was SUPER simple. There is an HDMI port to connect to Roku or any device you want. We mirrored Youtube videos from the phone and sports and movies from the PC rather than using HDMI or USB. I was impressed with the picture. The audio is not really loud but luckily you can connect it to any Bluetooth speaker which is a major plus. Since the projector is portable, you do not need the remote with it however, the remote itself is super easy to use and it is nice and slim. As with most projectors, you need a dimly lit room (or outdoors) to fully enjoy the picture. I wish the projector had a keystone adjustment left and right. This would allow us to adjust a skewed picture with the projector to the left or right of our sitting location (it does have it up and down though). That was about the only function missing that the big projectors have. In the end, its a small miss considering all the other advantages this little thing packs!

    Movie Nights Just Got Better!

Outdoor Movie night just got better with my LG PH30N CineBeam projector. It's a great projector to stream It was really easy to set up, the projector is compact and light weight! The quality of the projection is good when the lights are off you get a beautiful clear picture, if the lights are on the picture colors would get faded out when watching a movie. The projector is really easy to use, plugs right into a HDMI or USB cable to stream to the projector. I just plugged in my USB flash drive to look at my pictures, I also used my phone or my IPad to stream and watch my movies. The projector has a 2 hour built-in battery, audio is clear and smooth, Bluetooth sound out built in speakers or you can connect speakers for a much clear surround sound. The projector has a resolution of 1280x720p high definition with up to 100" screen. Every home should have one, makes outside movie night much more enjoyable.

    Decent little projector

I was very excited to get this projector as it would be the first one I owned. I have one at my job that I had to use every day so I was slightly familiar with using a projector. So the main reason I was excited to get this LG projector was because of the small size and it being able to be easily moved around and carried and used anyplace. The size of the projector is perfect and it projects the image on any surface. I was very amazed at how clear the picture was! Not to mention the size of the image you can get with a clear picture was very impressive! Another great feature was it could be plugged in or there is a 2 hour battery life so incase you want to project where you don’t have an outlet, no problem! And 2 hours gives you enough time for a whole movie! The only negative thing about this projector which I hate to say is a big deal is the sound. You have to hook this up to another sound source so if you don’t have a speaker(s) you are out of luck. Even with the sound on full blast on the projector you can barely hear it even sitting right next to it. If LG could fix the sound quality then this projector would be perfect. So I had a speaker I hooked up to it and it worked great. It was a little inconvenience to add a speaker to it but at least the sound with the speaker worked great with the projector. So minus the sound issue this projector is amazing and I would recommend it especially for its price!

    Pocket size awesome projection

Finally, I got the LG CineBeam Projector i have been waiting for so long. I was surprised to see how small and portable the projector was. I was using an older version on the LG LED projector before which is almost double the size than this. So was a bit skeptical about how it will project. There are quite a few features it performs that the older version couldn't. The battery backup. This one by far my favorite.

So, I took everything out and started setting it up. It was evening by the time I figured out how to connect the sound to my Bluetooth speaker and how to screen share via laptop to the project.

Now time to relieve the project display. So projected it on the wall and the clarity is amazing. There is no need to darken the room. The brightness of the project is superb. It projects on a big screen like. It has an easy feature like the Battery backup for two hours, a project to focus, wireless, and Bluetooth support. the other major improvement I observed is it doesn't get heat up or make noise. Can mount it anywhere as its very light in weight.

We found the remote was really helpful to the on/off the projector. It has easy navigation to setting and volume control. New feature I found is its has front and back projection feature in it.

We projected it on a white wall and the clarity is amazing. We are able to read the CC as well so, imagine how good the clarity is. I have been watching all my shows on the projector. I won't opt for TV when I have a good projector at home. I am able to view my shows in the morning hours as well.

On the window of improvements side, I see that the audio volume on the projector is a bit low, and also USB-C support would be a game-changer.

    #LGTechInsiders #freeproduct #InsiderStories

Overall it's a very good projector from LG that can be used both indoor and outdoor without a power supply.

    Pro:

    Small in size

    Big projection

    Easy to charge

    Battery back up

    Easy to focus

    Portale

    Easy remote access

    Cons:

    The audio volume is low.

    Screenshare connectivity can improve.

    Missing USB-C support

    Screen failed at 2 years

Great TV otherwise, but poorly (or cleverly) designed to cause screen failures sometime after the warranty expires, thus forcing you to either deal with the screen impediment, pay for a repair, or buy another TV. Call me old fashioned, but if I'm going to spend $1000 on a TV, it should last at LEAST five years... making out to approximately $200/year.

Given that the screens are prone to failure, I would not recommend LG to F&F. In fact, I'll be advising anyone I know in the market for a new TV to stray far away from LG, and instead opt for Panasonic or Samsung, both of which I have owned in the past and not once experienced a screen failure from regular use.

Works great! Glad I got it

Works really great, so glad I ended up getting it !

A couple of points about the product - and this is more about the software rather than the hardware:

    1. the placement of the little menu that appears when you connect to the adapter drives me mad - you can unpin it, but I keep accidentally clicking disconnect when I got to move a window or change a tab. I wish I could just get rid of it, and completely manage the adapter from the app.

    2. This is a minor thing and not truly a problem just something I found odd - the picture is good when you use the adapter, but the cursor is weirdly quite pixelated.

Product is Good. Packaging is a nightmare.

Bought two of these. One worked and one didnt. Will be returning. The one that works is flawless. Easy to setup and connect to, but I believe the packaging is what broke the other. The way the cord is saddled into the cardboard packaging puts a very tight strain on where the cord is married to the USB and HDMI pieces. Right out of the package it has a kink in the cable and on top of that, they twist it to get it to stay. That will break any cable pretty quick and the cable is so thin.

My suggestion, but 2 if you need 1 to work. Return it if its broke or not needed.

    A Miracast Adapter that works

Finally! I've been trying to crack the enigma of Miracast for years, seemingly, only to be frustrated by lousy hardware and incompatible standards. I tried the first generation Microsoft Wireless Adapter paired with an Asus ZenTab which, it turns out, had a lousy Miracast antenna. So that didn't work well (flakey laggy picture and sound). Next, I tried a Lenovo Yoga Tab 2 with a first generation Amazon Fire TV Box ... the Amazon Fire Box has a terrible Miracast antenna in it, so no dice. At that point, I gave up, but I was close! The trick is, you have to have a good Miracast transmitter - i.e. a phone or tablet - AND a good Miracast receiver. THIS is the ONLY decent Miracast receiver on the market. Paired it to a Droid Mini phone - which, after much research, turns out to be a solid Android Miracast device - and also with an Acer Aspire Switch 10 2 in 1 Windows tablet pc. The second generation Microsoft Wireless Adapter works flawlessly- it's hard to tell the difference between how this works and an hdmi cable. Very little lag, everything is synced. Beautiful. Sit on your couch and swipe away... free of wires. You can broadcast anything on your phone or tablet to the tv with this device. Perfection.

    Flagship quality, midrange price

This is probably the hands down best device I have used. Motorola has taken a huge step forward with their cameras and this is now competitive with the likes of $1000 samsungs and iphones. The battery is amazing, the screen is bright and easy to see outside, the camera is the best out there, and Ready For is a game changing feature.

The battery is 5000 mAh and is good for around a couple days of normal usage, I can get about 1.5 of heavy usage (playing pokemon Go, heavy messaging and photo taking, and using my hotspot). I couldn't imagine anyone killing this thing with anything remotely resembling reasonable use.

The display is 144 hz which makes things buttery smooth and is bright enough to see outside without trouble. I also love how Motorola went away from the curved display and to a flat one. It is better for durability and opens up more options for screen protectors

The camera is crazy good, way better than any other camera Motorola has included on any other device. Its an 108 mp Ultrapixel camera that takes amazing shots in most any light (see attached photos for samples). It is also flanked by an ultrawide (pulls double duty as a macro shooter as well) and a depth sensor for that nice depth of field effect in your portrait photos.

Ready For is honestly a game changing feature. it allows for a wired or wireless desktop experience on your device via either a smart tv (anything that works with with miracast) or a PC/Laptop via USB (you can even share your smartphones internet connection) or wirelessly over wifi. This is a great option for people who don't want to bring their work to a personal device or people who don't want to pay for a connected laptop or hotspot device while still having data.

Again, I can not recommend this device enough It is fast, there is no added bloat, the software is fast and clean. Whats not to love?

Great phone with very nice features

I caught this phone on sale and so far it's been a great phone! I love the long battery life and the fast charging. I love all the Moto gestures. The side power button finger print reader is great and very responsive too. The camera also takes really good pictures. And I love that it comes with plenty of storage to meet my needs. Overall, this is a great phone but even better if you can catch it on sale.

    Quality Phone

First off I got it on sale for the 500, and this phone is packing even with it being a LCD screen it's plenty bright, Motorola has such a simple layout with no bloatware on it. No expendable storage which is fine as it comes with 256gigs and 8gb of ram and a nice little hidden feature is the ram boost which shoots it up to 10gb of ram. The 144hz screen is definitely a plus and the steal of the show is the camera it has. I went from a OnePlus 8 to this and watching Netflix and such is definitely better and can see the screen better in the sunlight. The battery is huge and lasts well over a day on hardcore usage and then the 30watt charging gets you back up in a matter of minutes. Wouldn't buy at full price due to LCD screen but definitely a steal on sale.

    Great performing phone

Had this phone now for about a month. Overall for the price it's a very nice phone.

    Pros:

    Big screen very high quality.

    Big battery.

108 mega pix camera takes beautiful pics. The other cameras on the front and back are very nice as well.

    256 gigs of storage space.

    8 gigs of dedicated RAM.

    Very snappy processer.

    Cons.

    No 3,5 mm output support.

    No wireless charging.

    No SD micro slot.

Overall though the specs are really exceptional for the price. Samsung's comparable price phones are way less powerful as this phone. And the one that is is like 1200$ versus the 600$ plus tax on this one. Overall I am very happy.

    Returned Motorola Edge

This is a great phone, especially for the price. It just didn’t work on Verizon’s 5G UW Network. It worked on their 4G LTE just fine and calls were awesome. I knew this was a possibility going into it so I wasn’t too upset. All in all it’s a great phone.

    Great product a must have

A great phone. Starting price amazing for some of it's features. Camera quality is amazing, size and feel premium, speed and navigation up to par, display stunning, fingerprint sensor fast...

Strongly recommended for phone photography, speed and storage.

Drawbacks: had difficulty transferring apps from old android to this. No dedicated app, google stock transfer app didn't seem to get it right with my Huawei mate 20 pro

    Incorrect specs!

Best Buy site and Insignia site states this tv has both Apple Airplay and Windows Miracast. I even called Insignia and thet confirmed it did. I was still uneasy as there is NOTHING stating them on the box nor in the manuals. Did noy install it, figured would just power on first…only mirrors Amazon devices. No airplay showed up to mirror to. Geesh, wanted to like this tv…but Best Buy and Insignia have incorrect specs. TV is going back.

    Horrible

Terrible picture quality, doesnt look like true 4K, sound is low no matter how you mess with the setting, you get what you pay for. Its a 58 inch 4K tv for $349, sadly it is too good to be true. But pay an extra $50 and get a reliable one

A real review. Not like the other one complaining

Great not so little TV what can I say? This TV is awesome. Has streaming options and displays well. Like others the speaker leave a lot to be desired but who uses just stock speakers? Not me. This TV will connect to your standard 2.4GHz WiFi and the more advanced 5GHz WiFi. Sit back and enjoy the show.
