Healthy frying and lots of space to do so!

Great air fryer, I've usually seen them with a circular shape, but this one has more of a squarish shape. It has lots of space to fry large food items. I was able to fit 4 large chicken breasts and they all came nice and crispy! You can also fit an up to 9' pizza. I'm pretty sure a small/medium sized whole chicken will fit in there too. It has a large display and several 1 tab functions. Apart from air frying, one can also roast, broil, reheat and keep warm items. It heats up faster than an oven, saving you money on your power bill. The bottom grill pan can be put in a dishwasher, but I would not recommend it, it has some small little plastic tabs on the sides that keep it in place when in the fryer and one came out when I put it in the dishwasher and I had to look for it. After that, I found that hand washing is better and very easy, as the grill has a non stick coating. Other than that, the fryer has been perfect for me and would recommend it to anyone looking to still indulge with fried foods, but in a healthy way!

    Best air fryer evah!

This is the best air fryer we have ever bought. The cooking area is a large size. It’s not very loud at all and it was a great upgrade from the ninja that we used to have.

Grill sucks but unit works well

I really enjoyed this air fryer, until I washed the grill part in the dishwasher. The coating completely disintegrated and rusted. I really hope they fix this issue. Otherwise, its functions great, just hate using it with the grill but that's the only option!

    Nice alternative to oven

6qt size is small enough to fit on the counter yet big enough to prepare small meals. Can fit 10- 12 chicken wings, or a small basket of fries.

Perfect for making a meal for 1-2 without needing to use the oven. Easy to clean as well.

    Jury is out.

It worked well to make chicken wings on my first use, but then I washed the crisping tray with a normal kitchen sponge and the “non stick coating” came off most of the tray. Still waiting to hear back from the manufacturer.

    Crap!

This was my first air fryer. It was on sale, along with several other models, in black friday. I opted for this on because of its larger size. Fast forward about 3 weeks, and about 5 or 6 uses, and the "non stick" coating had already started to flake off. About a week after that, the cooking grid is rusting. This has definitely been a disappointment. I did enjoy using it before this happened, though it did seem to run pretty hot. A few recipes I tried had to be toned down a bit because I kept burning the food I was cooking. I wouldn't recommend this product... I will be contacting someone about replacing this thing, or refunding my money. It's pretty disappointing because I can't get the other models on discount now, because I chose this one. Now this crappy website isn't letting me upload the real bad picture, for some reason. Do not buy this piece of junk...

Healthier/more flavorful for more than air frying!

It seems like the trend in home appliances these days is to try packing so much into a single product that you wouldn't dare go anywhere else for your cooking needs--you need a blender, here's one that also warms soup and makes ice cream--want a slow cooker for chili, sure, but have you thought about one that does pressure cooking and baking, as well? I get the all-in-one toaster, broiler, griddle, coffee-pot combo for a dorm room or tiny apartment, but the results from these Franken-appliances are usually mixed--one or two functions might come off well, but on the whole, it's jack-of-all-trades but master of none. Not so with the Bella Pro...we've been putting this latest air fryer through its paces over the past 2 weeks and we haven't hit a stinker yet.

The touch-screen model was an upgrade for us over the much smaller and much simpler analog dial-based model we've been using for the past year, and while the touch-screen controls are indeed a nice-to-have, it's the performance that has blown us away. The biggest draw here is obviously the air fryer--a massive 6-quart metal drawer will handily fry up enough tater tots, fries, chicken wings or onion rings to feed a family of 4-6 easily, and it's no joke that it will do it in at least 1/2 the time of a regular oven. But what we like even more than the speedy cooking time are how the foods taste when they're done. We started the first few days cooking a few items side-by-side, a few in the oven, a few in the fryer. Wings, fries and tots from the fryer were noticeably crisper and flavorful without drying out or coming up burned on one side or another like they did sitting in a pan in the oven. From there we moved on to some of the other functions, including dehydrating...which, honestly, we never really thought that much about before. We reduced 9 big apples into a shockingly small pan of dried apple rings and the end results were as satisfying and tasty as anything we might buy in the store (quick tip: soak your fruit in a little water mixed with a small amount of citric acid to keep the fruits from browning as they dry). Dehydrating time can be adjusted to create anything from chewy dried fruits to legit fruit chips, just like the store-bought kind, and the great part is that when you pull the drawer out to check on the food's progress, it immediately resumes where it left off once the drawer is back in place without any intervention or button pushes from you (no pausing or resuming necessary!). Then we popped in a slice of pizza to see how that did at warming it back up after a few nights in the fridge. While we'll need to adjust the time to a bit less than the default 8 minutes (the one slice pictured below turned out a bit darker than we typically care to see), it definitely warmed it back up without turning rubbery or even hard in some spots as we've often experienced with microwave reheating. Hopefully you can see from the image we've attached that you can probably reheat 2-3 good sized slices given the size of the cooking drawer.

Cleanup is a snap with only two real parts to clean--the metal frying drawer, and the lift-out crisping tray. Preset menu options provide predetermined temperature and cooking time combinations for Air Frying, Roasting, Broiling, Baking, Reheating, Keep Warm, Pizza, and Dehydrate (though these times and temperatures can also be adjusted). The upper menu display that indicates the current selection is just that, a display only...the only true touch-screen buttons are the Power/Start, Menu cycle, and time and temperature change arrows. The big, easy-to-read LCD display in the middle hops back and forth between temperature and time remaining and there's a loud but not obnoxious beep when the cooking cycle is complete. The sides and top of the fryer do not get very hot in operation; you can comfortably touch the sides even when the temperature is up near the 400 degree maximum, and the HUGE handle out front stays absolutely cool to the touch regardless of the operating temperature, which is a must for those times when you have to pull out the frying drawer and shake up the contents for even cooking. The convection fan does make some noise in operation; it's a bit quieter (or at least less harsh) than our microwave, but YMMV...just be aware if you're going to have something running for many hours (like a dehydrate job), you will notice the appliance whirring along in the background.

Overall, we've been immensely impressed with the Bella Pro, and we haven't even tried cooking a single item yet that has needed even one drop of oil or spray to come out tasting great. The short instruction manual includes a few recipes in the back that actually look pretty decent--we may start diving into some fancier foods now that we're starting to settle into a rhythm with the air fryer. No...it's not as fast as a microwave, but the results thus far have been MILES better than what we've ever obtained from microwave cooking, and the time savings and convenience over cooking the same foods in our full-sized oven has made this appliance a go-to for all our meals over the past few weeks. It's hard to gush about our experiences without sounding like a shill for Bella, but no joke--all the results we've obtained to date have been healthier and FAR more flavorful (less grease taste, more food taste), and required less electricity, time, and effort to prepare or clean than the same foods as done up in a standard electric oven. The fact that this particular model offers such high capacity and user-friendly operation at such a reasonable price makes it even more compelling. If you're looking for a pretty low-risk, low-cost, low-impact way to get into air frying with enough capacity to serve more than a few people at a time, this Bella Pro is definitely worth serious consideration!

    Finding more uses every day!

It has been a fun adventure to experiment with this air fryer. One of the best uses has been for roasted brussels sprouts, see photo. Simply chop in half, toss with a little oil, lightly salt, throw in the basket (after using the "P" preheat function), and then touch the "Fish" setting button. Half way through, pull out the basket and 'scoop' it in the air to toss around the contents, and return it to the unit to continue cooking. (The fan and timer stop when you pull out the basket to check the food.) When it beeps complete (10 mins, I think), you have deliciously roasted veggies that make any meal fancy. Washing the basket and the rack is easy, nonstick surface works well. I have not gotten the hang of the different preset buttons, so I often just 'start' it and then keep checking. Some of the preset settings use a lower temp, which is better for some foods. Only thing that did not work well was cheese-filled breadsticks cooked from frozen. The middle was still cold when the outside was getting too crispy. Foods are tending to work better when thawed at least a little, but frozen fries and smaller items still come out crispy and hot in the middle. We reheated some thin crust (take-out) pizza, and the crust was better reheated than when it was fresh from the box. There are tons of air fryer recipes and tips online, I'd suggest using them. I have not regretted this purchase at all, it's great for re-crisping and reheating. And I would not want anything less than this 8qt basket size, otherwise it would be way too small. Consider that when choosing a model. 8qt sounds like a lot, but if reheating pizza for example, food sits on the rack in the bottom of the basket and this one can accommodate 2-3 pieces of take out (PapaJohn's-type) pizza at a time. One 4-minute cycle of the "P" preheat button heats and crisps slices of pizza perfectly. If the pizza is particularly cold, it might take part of a second preheat cycle, but watch it closely to avoid burning the cheese or toppings such as pepperoni. Great to reheat/re-crisp things like biscuits, when microwaving them is a dud. Be aware that it does take a fair amount of counter space, and you need it clear in front of the basket to pull it in and out, but I think it's worth it. This is a higher priced unit, but it was on a great sale here. My mom had a smaller one (3 qt, perhaps?), and it was so tiny it wasn't worth the effort to cook such a small amount for 2 adults. She found the Paula Dean air fryer book to be useful.

Wow! How did I live without this!!

Yes, it is quite huge, but... So is my ove to heat up!! As a single person, this is so much more practical to prepate meals. Made butternut squash with dried apricots, cranberries and pepitas... Then made ribeye steaks with mushrooms...all in the same basket! Didn't have to turn the oven on, or the grill, or clean up multiple pans. And the best thing I didn't heat up my whole kitchen. Saves on so much clean-up! And everything turned out perfectl, the steak was very juicy and just as good as on the grill without going in and out of the house. Love it so far, but need a new cookbook!

Buy a Bella Pro for Healthy Eating & Everyday Use!

I've bake a banana bread, a cake (which comes out very soft and spongy) I've made dinner rolls, and a pizza and bake lemon pepper chicken wings, salute vegetables, roasted chickpeas. I've made all these things in the short about of time that i've had it and I am still learning and it saves on time and mess. This Bella Pro Series 8-qt is massive, i can cook a chicken in this thing if i wanted to, its awesome.

My only concern it's the sound, that beeping sound, and when you press the buttons Yikes. I wish there was a way to turn it down! Now if i lived in house i wouldn't mind it because it appears to be design for a house, so if your in another room, it calls out to you, lol. But in a apartment that sound is super super loud, I wish there was an app that would send me a notification that it's almost about to be done or when it finish, now that will be idea.

P.S (lol) Banana Bread/Cake bake it at 325 for 40 minutes work wonder for me, i cook it at lower temp because i didn't want the top to burn and cover it foil if your worried about the top browning too fast.

    My new favorite item

I had my eye on this for awhile. I will admit I didn't realize initially how big it was until I opened the box. From the first time I used it though I have been absolutely hooked on it. I love it. We have cooked salmon, chicken, ribs, turkey wings, and fries. My daughter even made cinnamon rolls in there. Absolutely a great edition to my house

I have not opened the box yet to put it to use but by looking at lots and lots of good reviews I think it will pay off when I put it to use by revealing the results of it when I start to use it.

This air fryer does not play around! It is humongous. I will attach a picture in here with a tequila bottle as reference. It cooks everything nicely. I love eating fried chicken and this machine allow to do so in a healthier way.

    A great product

I have not opened the box yet to put it to use but by looking at lots and lots of good reviews I think it will pay off when I put it to use by revealing the results of it when I start to use it.

Bella Small Size May Fool You - Generous Capacity

The Bella Pro Series 2-qt. Touchscreen Air Fryer is disguised as compact air fryer. However, after using it for three weeks I discovered this versatile air fryer is an efficient counter top appliance, which enables healthier cooking for Grandma and me. I can Air Fry, Broil, Bake, Roast, and Reheat with little or no oil. And, the best part is that healthier air fried foods are just as tasty and delicious as if they were deep-fat fried. How cool is that?

This Bella Pro Series air Fryer is a cut above the rest of the Bella Houseware Kitchen products and is designed for higher performance. It is made of mostly plastic with a non-stick coated steel frying basket and crisping tray. The frying basket has a 'cool-touch' handle, and the body of the whole unit is finished in finger print resistant, matte black. It blends in with all of my Kitchen appliances and the bottom of this unit has four rubberized non-skid feet to keep it stable. It is lightweight enough to be portable and I often move it about on different places as needed. My counter tops are heat resistant. The manufacturer suggests placing this air fryer on heat-resistant work spaces in order to avoid counter top damage. This unit pulls in air to circulate over the 1200 watt heating element in a circular vent at the top of the unit. Heat is exhausted out of the back of this unit so the manufacturer suggest to keep a four inch clearance from walls or other objects during operation. When removing the frying basket it is important to place it on a heat-resistant surface, or trivet because it will be hot.

Advantages of this Bella Pro Series 2-qt. Touchscreen Air Fryer:

    * Healthier cooking using little or NO oils whatsoever. Air Frying is the new approach to reduce cholesterol and polyunsaturated fatty acids in cooking oils. Again, I am amazed at how tasty air frying is and good for my health too. YooHoo!

    * Quickly cooks vegetables, meats, fish, and poultry without preheating. Holds up to to two quarts of volume. Enough French Fries to serve my four Grand Kids when they visit and want a snack. WoW!

    * High performance circular heat technology. Distributes heated air flow for faster cooking. It cooks the foods more evenly and makes them crispier too. YUMMY!

    * Responsive and easy to learn Touchscreen Controls. Preset functions with preset temperatures and times. However, the time and temperature can easily be changed manually at any time during the cooking process. By using the marked Up & Down Time and Temperature arrows both Time & Temperature can be decreased, and, or Increased. This is important when cooking foods, then pausing to shake, and or, turn the food items half way through the cooking process. I can easily tell when I need to add or increase the temperature or time.

    * Safety features include the pausing of the preset cooking choices when the frying basket is pulled out of the air fryer. The cooking process will resume immediately when the fryer basket is installed back into the main body. The unit will Not cook if the fryer basket is NOT installed. The unit can be turned OFF by pressing the Power Button for two seconds. After 60 minutes this unit will automatically turn OFF and sound an audible tone.

    * Care and Maintenance is NOT complicated. The frying basket and crisping tray are easily cleaned in my Kitchen sink with soapy water, and. by hand as I prefer. They can also be put in the Dishwasher, but I think they last longer if cleaned by hand. The main body of this Bella air fryer can easily be cleaned with a damp dish cloth.

    * Be aware there is a learning curve to the process of air frying. Pausing the cooking process half way through the presets is very important. I can easily determine if I need to continue with the same preset Times and Temperature, or, if either one needs to be changed. The Bella Touchscreen makes this a simple adjustment.

    * Tips – Placing a piece of aluminum foil under the crisping tray makes clean-up much easier, especially when air frying, roasting,or broiling fatty meats. Make sure the 'shiny' side is facing up. It reflects heat much better under the crisping tray. Try re-heating foods in this Bella instead of your microwave. This Bella reheats foods more evenly and thoroughly. Love It!

    * This Bella Air Fryer is quite an energy saver compared to my conventional six cubic foot oven. The Bella only uses 1.2 KW, while my conventional oven uses upwards to 4 KW and takes much longer to preheat and cook. The Bella is fantastic in comparison.

I highly recommend this Bella Pro Series 2-qt. Touchscreen Air Fryer. Me and Grandma are amazed how quickly this unit prepares our foods in less time then it takes to preheat my conventional oven. We were very skeptical at first because healthier foods aren't supposed to taste this good, or are they? Buy a Bella Air Fryer and find our for yourself . This unit is ideal for a couple, or family of four with two small children. This Bella is inexpensive, and may actually pay for itself over time compared to using your conventional oven. Makes a great wedding, housewarming, or just a special gift to that particular person or family member on your list.

Bella Pro Series - 2-qt. Analog Air Fryer - Black Matte

This air fryer is a small one, good for a single person or a couple. I found the fryer to be good for prepared frozen products. The home cut fries were dry on the outside and still hard on the inside. The frozen fish was good but not completely cooked on the inside. The veggie puffs turned out the best. See pictures. The timer once turned on works like the old fashioned oven timer. You can’t turn it off once it is set. The timer setting is off by a couple minutes on this one. Over all I would recommend it for quick frozen meal products.

Small but works the same as large!

Small but that's what I was looking for. We used it all this week at timeshare bc the large one is too big to travel with. I Love that draining rack is removable to clean and pops back in. Cooks fast like my large air fryer also love the nonstick surfaces inside and underneath where heating element is just stay rust free when cooking/cleaning.

Maybe perfect for a singular person....

.... who doesn't like leftovers. I've had this less than a month and all of the white markings (degrees, timer, logo) are all just about rubbed off. They're super easy to smear off. Also, 2 out of 3 of the black things on the edge of the circular tray that comes out of the basket is broken/split and will eventually fall off. I don't know how or when it happened but it was soon after the first use. I use metal tongs and it's difficult not to scratch the coating inside the tray. I wish there was a way to turn the top knob off easily when the food is done before the timer ends. It's small, like one chicken breast/pork chop at a time small. I bought it on sale just to try out an air fryer. First time using it I realized that it's not the quietest machine, but I'm kind of used to it now. Overall, I'm a fan of airfryers now.... just not so much this one. However, I really think I got what I paid for... less than $20 so I guess it's ok. Maybe for a college dorm?

Wanted to try out and see what the hype was about with air fyers but didn't want to invest right away in a large one so for less than $20 gave this one a try and love it. It works great and perfect for small portions at a time. Only thing is the display for the timer and temperature do fade, other than that its great.

Great fryer but numbers rubbed off!

I loved this little air fryer. It works amazingly. The food turned out really moist and tender. The potatoes were really good. The only reason I gave it 3 stars is because after a few uses the white letters and numbers started to rub off when I wiped it to clean it. So I ended up having to return it and get a digital one so I wouldn’t have that problem.

The build quality is pretty good for the cost. I paid 19.99 on a daily deal but even at 29.99 it’s a good price. I always hand wash the crisping tray and the pot with dish soap and a sponge after each use and I have not had any rusting issue others have complained about. It cooks things in half the time typically then what the conventional oven instructions listed on the frozen snacks you buy. The food comes out crispy and throughly cooked throughout. Overall I’d recommend this mini air fryer for making snacks for one-two people. If you got a bigger family then I would go for a bigger air fryer.

GREAT AIR FRYER !! COOKS FAST & DELICIOUSLY!

This was my 1st air fryer. I did a little research and this thing really slaves it. Everything you cook and it comes out fresh and juicy. It doesn't matter what it is even if you're reheating. It's great if you're a single person or even a couple because it's just large enough for that period the tip is to put about a quarter of an inch of water in the bottom of the cup. Is the moisture from the water literally helps keep meat Vegetables Fresh and juicy. I would recommend us to anyone who doesn't have to cook for a lot of people and like stings that are fast with no splash of Grease all over everything. And even better it's easy to clean

If you have a problem unit, return it to the store

Let's start off with "you get what you pay for." I wasn't sure how invested I was into Airfryers and they had a sale. It's easy enough with the digital read out.

However, during the first use, one of the rubber tabs on the grate tore and I contacted Bella within 3 hours of purchase. It took 2 weeks to have them send me a 10c rubber tab, and then was told it would take 4-6 weeks to reach me.... So I never actually enjoyed the unit as intended yet so that's always fun. It's worked fine despite being wonky due to the third tab being off. Don't contact Bella customer service, they only respond once every 3-4 days, just go through Best Buy! And if you can, get one that's a little nicer. I have doubts how long this will last.

    Very pleased

Happy with my purchase. We had air fryer already but didn’t like it. I bought the small one just to try it, and very happy with it. I’m placing another order, upgrading from 2qts to 4qts as per hubby. Been using this everyday. Quick and easy to use. Good quality for the money.

    Don't. Just don't. Not even for $19.99.

This was the BB Deal of the Day for $19.99. I wished I had used it right away, then I'd be able to return it. After the second use, two of the three rubber gaskets (used to keep the tray from scratching the inside) broke off. Looking back, I should have seen that as a warning about Bella quality. The fryer lasted for about 11 uses over about 2 months. This is not acceptable, not for any appliance. This was my first time trying an air fryer and while it worked, I really liked it and I'm sure I'll still with air frying, but not with Bella again. I can't imagine I would try another Bella product. Read all of the reviews for this product, not just on this site but others, like Amazon. Research before buy, and don't buy this. I'm telling you this because I don't want to experience the same frustration and disappointment I am dealing with today. Please, spend that $20 on something that will last more than 11 uses.

    Small but works well

It’s smaller than I thought it would be but it works. My son broke my other one so this was $20 on Black Friday. It works well just a bit small. Like a baby air fryer, I guess I didn’t see the part that read “2 quarts” Great for single people, I would think.
