Within its sleek 15” chassis, the new Razer Blade 15 brings together the latest 11th Gen Intel® Core™ H-Series processors and the latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 Series graphics for gaming-changing visuals and performance that’s brought to life with a choice of 3 next-gen displays—360Hz, 4K resolution, or the best of both worlds with 165Hz QHD.
Fast, slick design. Runs everything. Out of the box runs great and had zero compatability issues with my devices.Nov 05, 2021 19:31
Not only has a sturdy and durable design, but it also strikes a balance between aesthetics and performance. With GE76 Raider unique oblique angle design, it brings neat style but reduced no performance. The iconic mystic light make your gaming room and setup more complete and full of gaming style. Its time to enjoy the whole new level of gaming experience.
Unlike other laptops with gimped RTX GPU's, this is a full powered RTX 3080 which means it can run anything with ease. Battery life and heat are very good since I undervolted the processor by -60 in the Bios. Unlike the GS 76 with its inverted motherboard, the motherboard in the GE 76 is normal, which means RAM and storage upgrading is easy. Expensive but hope to keep for many yearsNov 06, 2021 16:29
For those who want all or nothing, go all out with the Razer Blade 14—the ultimate AMD gaming laptop in every way imaginable. From its ultra-powerful CPU to its graphics, its fast display to its portability, we’ve maxed out all aspects of the Razer Blade 14 to bring you an uncompromising experience that can’t be beat.
Expensive? Yes. Worth it? Yes. Runs hot? Yes. Too hot? No. I purchased this to replace my Asus ROG G703GXR-XB96K. The Asus crashed and burned within 2 years. Purchased Geeksquads extended warranty on it so they fully refunded the original purchase price of $3799.00. So I used the money to purchase this tiny beast and I mean beast. I use an external monitor so the 14" screen size wasn't a problem. What got me to purchase this Razer 14 was what it offered inside. A Ryzen 5900HX with a Geforce 3080 all in a more than light and portable laptop. Going from a hulking 10 1/2 Lb. behemoth not to mention the 5 more Lbs of power bricks. I was sold. I modify GTA V and I mean mod. Like 150 GB of mods over what the original game files are. All settings maxed out to very high and ultra. I also retexture almost all the GTA V files so I needed a laptop that was powerful enough to run Gimp, OpenIV and Codewalker all at the same time. Well this does it without an issue even with just the 16 GB of soldered on ram. Gameplay has boosted 20 to 40 FPS. without any glitching or tearing. Not to mention never dropping below 50 FPS. even under the heaviest loads during cars blowing up, RPG's being shot everywhere and peds all having a shootout all at the same time. Some reviews say the refresh rate on an external monitor is limited to 60 Hz. Wrong. I'm running mine @ 165 Hz. You need to set the resolution and refresh rate according to your monitors specs through Windows display adapter properties in the advanced section under display. All and all I'm very happy with my purchase. And yes I highly recommend purchasing Geeksquads extended warranty. It's well worth it. I got an upgrade with a couple of hundred Best buy bucks left over from my refund. On a side note. If you purchase the Razer 14 my recommendation is to purchase an under the laptop cooling fan ($30.00) which I had originally for the Asus. It definitely helps with keeping this laptops heat under control. Idle 45c under some load 85c with some momentary 90c spikes under extreme gameplay loads.Aug 15, 2021 23:46
Nice laptop，although this laptop is very small，but it is better than my blade pro 17(2080)Aug 20, 2021 17:56
I purchased this laptop to replace my Blade Stealth 13 that I use at my office with a 3060 Ti eGPU setup. This computer is screaming fast. It runs everything I throw at it. The keyboard is pretty nice and the trackpad is very smooth. The screens looks good. There isn't any uneven backlighting.
The screen resolution is 1440p for a 14", text can get a little small. but it's manageable. Games run smooth as butter and the refresh rate seems to be as claimed.
The laptop does get toasty when you fire things up which is expected, but otherwise stays pretty relatively cool to the touch when you're just doing basic tasks.
The only issues are being an AMD chipset it doesn't have Thunderbolt even though the technology has been opened up by Intel, and for this price it only comes with a 1TB SSD. That said it was very easy to upgrade to a 2TB SSD, though I found out the chipset only supports PCIe Gen 3.
When I did the upgrade. the Razer website to get all the drivers was non-existent. I had to manually download WiFi drivers from Intel, then the chipset drivers from AMD, GPU drivers from Nvidia for everything to run correct. This is more a Razer website problem so does not take away from the product itself.
I am very happy with my purchase.Jul 13, 2021 04:34
This is the first review I've felt compelled to write.
I've had everything from Dell XPS to the most recent MacBook Pro M1 with 16GB ram.
This is the best laptop I've ever owned. Insane power when connected to the Razer power brick, two-hour charge time via USB-C, and nearly 10 hours of battery life with the screen set to 40% brightness, 60hz, and keyboard backlighting to 30%. Fans are nearly silent unless under heavy load. Hot under heavy load.
It does everything; the keyboard and trackpad are MacBook quality. I enjoy the Razer 14 more.
Was concerned about the 16GB of soldered RAM but Windows compression has kept my usage way below the limit in most use cases.Jul 21, 2021 01:13
This is an incredible PC. While the 3080 here is only 100 watts, and not on par with some of the other gaming laptops, this is on 14". It is ultra portable, solid construction and a beautiful screen to boot. This Ryzen 9 screams, and handled everything I could throw at it.
I would have liked to see some upgradable RAM here, but 16 should be enough for the foreseeable future. All in all, a fantastic machine.Oct 26, 2021 13:13
Wouldn’t recommend it at all honestly. I downgraded from a Razer Blade 15 2060 to this one. I understand that it’s a smaller model and won’t be able to carry everything the 15 has but it’s ridiculous the way it is. First off: No Ethernet connection,
Second: When you have your laptop plugged in you can’t connect a USB wired device below it because it’ll simply not fit.
Third: It only has 2 USB ports.
It may just be me but for the price I believe it could have been designed better.Oct 19, 2021 16:39
The performance this laptop puts out is insane, would definitely recommend.Oct 08, 2021 23:12
Game like a pro with this MSI Raider gaming laptop. The Intel Core i9 processor and 32GB of RAM run graphic-intensive games smoothly, while the 1TB SSD offers rapid start-ups and ample storage space. This MSI Raider gaming laptop has an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 graphics card, which produces detailed images on the 15.6-inch QHD 240hz for advanced gameplay.
To get to this laptop I swapped out 3 other gaming laptops, this is definitely the one!
The overall layout of the laptop is solid. It has some weight on it, but it's not insanely heavy, I like the balance of ports on the side with a few on the back. Hiding the power cord in the back is a better layout to me, and the HDMI port definitely makes more sense to be on the back. The RGB lighting strip on the front is a nice eye-catcher, if it's too extra for you it can be turned off. The keyboard is...cool. Buttons feel a little mushy. It's not a Macbook keyboard, but, most gaming laptops don't have the greatest of keyboards.
Sound quality...? If you're playing on a gaming laptop speakers are going to be lacking, add in fan volume, and across the board, it's a mixed bag...you're going to need a headset. The fans don't get too loud but get a gaming headset.
The MSI GE66 comes with a 15.6" 1440p screen with a 240 Hz refresh rate. I know 4k gets tossed around a lot, but at this screen, size 4k is overkill for GPUs that won't hit it with good frames without burning up. 1440 is the sweet spot, and, with the 16 gig 3080 with 130w TDP, I'm playing Apex Legends on its highest settings hitting 120+ FPS. I averaged between 90 and 100 FPS at 1440P with everything maxed (including raytracing) on Black Ops: Cold War with balanced DLSS. I ran some Battlefield 4 in preparation for Battlefield 2042 and I averaged 192 FPS with maxed settings at 1440!
I know a lot of people prefer AMD processors for their efficiency, but, let me say this; I had another laptop from a popular brand with an AMD Ryzen 9 5900 processor. In a 14 inch chassis, that processor was hitting 100 degrees on the temperature, averaging mid to high 90s for gaming sessions. On this 15 inch MSI GE66, I'm maxing at 90 averaging low to mid-80s achieving the frames I'm getting at 1440p. Still a little on the high side but safer in the long run than 100 degrees. A cooling pad I got from Best Buy dropped temps 5-10 degrees on average.
Overall I feel this laptop hits a sweet spot in regards to high-end gaming laptops. No, it's not the most powerful laptop like its big brother the 17" GE76, but at 17" I think 1080p seems to be a little stretched out (which is what the GE76 comes with). 15" QHD is the way to go until we get more 17" 1440p laptops. A decent keyboard for a gaming laptop, 130w TDP 16 gig 3080, 32 gigs of ram, and the 11th gen I9 processor...add another SSD to this baby (which, it has an open SSD slot) and you're set.Sep 22, 2021 01:47
I am absolutely loving this gaming laptop. It is a BEAST of a machine. I have become accustomed to having at least a little lag when doing anything on a computer all my life. Boy have I been missing out.
I almost did not get it as my brothers tried to talk me into getting a desktop instead because of the GPU performance difference. I'm glad I did not listen to them!
This thing is so practical for me and I can literally game anywhere at home with ease. it is not as bulky as I thought it would be. The power brick is roughly twice the size of a normal laptop charger. It's not crazy huge though.
The display is AMAZING. I am spoiled with how smooth gaming or watching videos is at 240hz in 1440p. It is so buttery smooth and the colors are nice. It is a matte finish, which I like, but some people may not.
I am not sure about the other complaints regarding this thing coming with a jet engine are all about. I was expecting it to be super loud and while its much louder than other laptops I have owned, it is not bad at all. I usually have the speaker volume at 16-20 and I hear perfectly fine.
I do recommend a cooling pad as it keeps it a bit cooler and helps with performance.
I have my frame counter setup for my steam games, and I have yet to play a game on Ultra that will drop below 150FPS. I still cannot believe how powerful this laptop is.
If you are on the fence and have the funds to get this, DO IT!
My only concern is getting two BSOD when I setup two new razer mice. For some reason it had an issue when I was setting up the mice and trying to configure them. It self resolved and has worked like a charm.Oct 20, 2021 20:35
It's such a great and smooth gaming laptop! The ONLY flaw I have in it is that in less than 3 months, the internal speakers no longer work. I'm at this moment whether I just keep it because I can't get anything better at this price, or do I turn it in and downgrade to a lower graphics card, lower SSD, or lower refresh rate.
I can easily use headphones and external speakers, but if I were to take it with me, then I can't even do the simple thing as watch a YouTube video with someone with me.Nov 08, 2021 22:50
This is by far the best laptop I ever owned, everything runs fast without any compromise, you can even update thru MSI support page to get better TPG. If you can afford and looking for a 15 inch laptop, go for it you will not regret.Oct 03, 2021 04:49
Unbelievable product. Perfect combo of processor, GPU, fast memory (that doesn't need upgrading like many in this category), fast SSD speeds and excellent monitor. Heat not an issue so far but if it is a simple undervolt will do it.Aug 18, 2021 17:58
very good excelenten and price , easy to donwload gamesNov 06, 2021 05:43
Very good screen
Very good keyboard
Bad trackpadOct 22, 2021 16:09

Equipped with the 11th Gen. Intel Core i7 processor, the GS76 Stealth maximizes efficiency in gameplay, multi-task work and productivity.
No bad but little crazy experience. Working good and fast ........Sep 19, 2021 15:50
Great laptop! Keyboard lcd lights not as easy to set as razer but not a deal breaker.Aug 27, 2021 17:03
Great laptop that has exceeded my expectations. I encourage others to make the same purchase.Sep 28, 2021 00:08

This system is great for most considerations, it has a loud sound system, excellent graphics and response time. I was not a fan of the keyboard, but I am used to mechanical, so the squishy feel really didn't appeal to me. I was disappointed in the cooling system that is used, everything got extremely hot with the additional monitor and type of work / gaming that I do. If you aren't stressing the system to the extreme end of graphics processing and computing power, it works well. The battery life has a rather short timeframe, but that is to be expected with this kind of graphics and processing power. I definitely recommend this system, but if you buy it, do plan on having some kind of cooling pad or lift system to keep the fans on the underside of the laptop having plenty of airflow. I don't know who in engineering though that the main fans on the bottom of the system was a good idea, you will burn yourself if you don't have something to shield your flesh.Aug 25, 2021 22:52
Replaced my Dell XPS 9500 with this. The Dell was awful from day one, but that's another story. This laptop is incredible. For how sleek the design is, and how much power they we're able to pack into it. Truly incredible, and highly recommended. Best. Laptop. Ever. Owned.Oct 11, 2021 11:27
This laptop has an amazing display, is very fast, and I am very glad that I got it. I use it for 3D modeling and rendering and it works very well. The biggest problem is the battery life. It loses like 2% a minute off of power if the screen is on. If the laptop is asleep it makes it like an hour and a half. I'm always using it at a desk connected to a second monitor though so this doesn't cause any problems there.Oct 08, 2021 16:14
Premium aluminum build, beautiful black screen, no ‘backlight bleed’, handles anything, large touchpad, easy to drop in an additional nvme ssd, purchased razer chroma stand with it and razer sleeve, of course purchased gsp plan with it for peace of mindNov 02, 2021 00:49
Switched from a Mac to this to use as portable "desktop" for graphics. More bang for the buck and gets the job done in record time. Went with Geek Squad opposed to Razer tech. Was worth it. Very good purchase.Oct 01, 2021 17:04
This laptop is great. Insanely powerful but of course you should expect the heat and the loud fan plus the short battery life because of its power.Oct 19, 2021 10:24
Razor has always had the best gaming laptops combing portability, power and style. You would not be embarrassed using this in public, you can turn off the logo rgb also for even more stealth. Personally I prefer the mercury white line but picked this up open boxed which dropped it low enough to fit my budget. I was worried it might have issues or be beat up but after a very deep inspection inside and out, this looks brand new. I only have a few gripes which are more on Razor than Best Buy.
1. Ram is locked at 2666 right now until a new bios is realized to enable xmp. My 2018 Razor had this enabled so kind of a downgrade for them to reduce the speed.
2. Battery life of course sucks, Razor should come up with a way to disable battery overcharge to increase life. Most people will always use this with the charge for max power but would be nice to run off battery from time to time. Razor battery bloat is real and has been a problem in their line for a long time.
3. WiFi channel issues, this is due to how Razor ran the antenna you may get screen flicker on certain channels. Annoying but the work around is to change channels until you find one that will work for your setup area. For the cost of this laptop this shouldn’t be an issue in the first place.
Since this is a very premium and expensive laptop do your own research, overall I love this laptop but there are weird issues that were not a problem in my older model but are in this 2021 version.Sep 12, 2021 10:55
Beastly performance on this thin laptop, and the screen is GORGEOUS. Unfortunately performance is not everything. Most significantly, I've been getting generic blue screen crashes claiming "A fatal hardware error has occurred." I'm hoping a driver update takes care of this as the hardware is very new. Additionally, when used with the Razer thunderbolt dock, I'm not able to use my high refresh monitor above 60 hz (Works with a Macbook Pro just fine). Finally, battery life using the iGPU is at max 5 hours, more likely around 4. This is ok, but I would have liked better.
Overall, this is a striking, powerful laptop, but too many issues mar the picture.Oct 09, 2021 21:45
Within its sleek 15.5” chassis, the new Razer Blade 17 packs the newest 11th Gen Intel Core Processor and the latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 Series graphics for stunning visuals that are brought to life with a choice of next-gen displays—offering up to 360Hz, up to 4K resolution, or the best of both worlds with up to a 240Hz QHD.
The Razerbook 17 is quite amazing. I was not expectint this great of performance from a gaming laptop that doesn't look like a gaming laptop. It is heavy like most other 17inch laptops, but a lot lighter than the Dell G series.
The screen is awesome and the colors are great. I was able to run most games at 120 fps on ultra or high. I did have some trouble with the initial windows 11 set up as it caused some frame drops. After updating all the drivers and the synapse application (you have to use) it worked great.
The only problem i really have is that the corners are sharp. Its a very minor complain since the last 2 laptops i owned were the same.
I plan to add another ssd and update this review in a few months to see if it still holds up. Overall no buyers remorse!Oct 27, 2021 08:25
If you are debating whether to get the Blade 15 Advanced or Blade 17, look no further and get the Blade 17. I had both and decided to return the Blade 15 Advanced because the Blade 17 had better thermals and performance. The Blade 17 definitely ran cooler (the case isn't so hot to touch when playing games as compared to the Blade 15 Advanced) and quieter. The only downside is that the Blade 17 is heavier.
I consistently get 120HZ and the screen is amazing. Just make sure to update all your drivers! Honestly, the best gaming and Windows laptop that I have ever owned.Nov 06, 2021 13:17
The computer worked great for a few hours, I left it running to perform Windows Updates then it died. Razer Technical support was terrible, their website says telephone support is 24/7 but its just chat.Oct 11, 2021 04:45
Good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Oct 09, 2021 08:03
Very good screen.
wait for a long time to be shipped.Sep 14, 2021 22:13
GIGABYTE AORUS 15P YD - 15.6" FHD IPS Anti-Glare 240Hz, Intel Core i7, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Laptop GPU 16GB GDDR6, 32GB Memory, 1TB SSD, Win10 Home, Gaming Laptop (AORUS 15P YD-73US244SH)
The 130W 3080 delivers great performance for the price ($2099.99) and is at least competitive with other offerings in this price range. There is no mux switch (a way to disable optimus internally) so you'll need to attach an external monitor to unlock 100% of the performance, but it performs just fine if you're not desperate for a few % more frames on the go. Attached image is my ffxiv benchmark with the laptop in it's stock configuration not bypassing optimus. You can search for "ffxiv benchmark" if you wanted to compare to your current setup. On top of being an actual ffxiv player, I find the game's benchmark to be one of the best since it toggles between cpu and gpu demanding scenes.Nov 03, 2021 09:18
So far it’s been really cool and fairly quiet for the power.
I own Alienware and Asus laptops and this one performs the best and stays the coolest. Only issue is Fusion software won’t save RGB settings.
Definitely sold on Gigabyte laptops from here on.Oct 27, 2021 13:44
I'm quite pleased with this laptop. The 3080 runs on about par with a 3060ti which can be expected with a laptop card. The included software lets you manage fans and clock speed which is nice. When plugged in and in overclocked mode it runs new world on max settings at about 110fps and stays around 58-62C with very reasonable fan noise. I do use an extra cooler underneath though. You can max out the fans and performance but then it sounds like a jet plane. Only oroblem i had was it didnt come with my windows key. I emailed them about ut and got my key in about 3-4 days.
No opinion on the screen as I almost exclusively run this out to a series of 3 monitors. It has zero issues running a game on one screen, a website on another. And amazon music on the third.
Does exactly what I wanted it to at a reasonable price. Hopefully it is durable but too soon to say on that!Nov 08, 2021 14:04
Bought on Friday reached out to Gigabyte for support as internal speaker not working and have been ghosted by support with nothing other than a confirmation they received my inquiry. It is now Tuesday evening.Oct 26, 2021 16:57
Just when you thought a gaming laptop couldn’t be any more beastly—introducing the new Razer Blade 15. The NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 3070 laptop GPU provides high frame rates and stunning ray-traced visuals. All this performance is packed into an incredibly compact CNC aluminum laptop that you can take anywhere.
The built quality appeared to be the best in its class.Although the screen colors were amazing they did not appear natural and accurate. Overly saturated and I decided to return it since I would have been using it for creative projects. I have heard about Oled burnings etc but I did not use it long enough to experience any of it.Sep 09, 2021 13:17
GE66 Raider is the cross between aesthetics and performance, the keys to a solid laptop. The exterior of the GE66 features an oblique angle which unfolds its crafted sharp image.
Bought this laptop exclusively to run FS2020. Not sure yet if I’ll keep it. It runs the sim great but it also runs REALLY HOT! There’s nothing (no documentation at all) to indicate how hot is too hot, and I’d expect the fan to automatically kick into high when things get heated up. There is a manual high fan setting which is so loud you can’t hear anything else. I bought a great cooling pad, but am concerned that I’ll melt the thing down if I’m not using that AND running the fan on high.
The 4k display is gorgeous, but I really with they would have included a numeric keypad.
I bought a 2nd gaming laptop, an Asus with a bit less power (for $1400 less!) and I’m trying to decide between the two. So far neither is perfect, so I’m not sure which (if either) I’ll keep.Aug 28, 2021 09:43
