The Whirlpool 46 bottle wine cooler is extremely well thought out and very quiet. It matches all my other kitchen appliances and looks awesome! I highly recommend this fridge to all my friends!

We purchased this wine cooler and built it into our kitchen to keep wine, waters and sodas handy. We are really pleased with the look, as well as the convenience it has provided.

I purchased this Whirlpool wine cooler from Best Buy. It's really great, dual temperature so that red & white wine are at the perfect temperature. Best Buy even priced matched & did install! Very happy with purchase!

This is our second wine fridge. The first was a uline that has turned out to be finicky.

Pros:

Prompt, detailed delivery.

Placed exactly where we wanted it.

Out of the box, turned right on and went to 54 quickly.

It holds my bottles well on an alternating pattern.

VERY QUIET..seriously. When on, it seems to be a nominal hum.

Blue lights are not overwhelming.

Con (and it is minor):

The door must be swung all the way open for the shelves to not catch the insulation on the way in and out.

We love this wine fridge so much that we got this as a second one. It's very quiet and holds a lot of wine. For fatter bottles, you can take advantage of the bottom space.

Find it very quiet. Keeps the bottles properly chilled. Because of stiffness of the drawers, I did not feel it would comfortably hold 51 bottles without risking damage - more reasonably 38-40. This may get improve as we use it more.

Excellant wine cellar, very quite, no noise. I had to take all wheels off to fit 36.5 inch counter space though no issues with placing felt pads instead of wheels. Cools well though being single zone, you may notice slightly more cooling of upper segment over lower segment though for me, this is very minor issue.

Even though it's only a single zone fridge, it hits every other mark you would want. Shelving slides very easily and the finishes are high end. Very good quality and quiet, too. Happy with this purchase.

This built in wine fridge is very quiet. The blue interior light is a bit 70’s for me, but overall it is a nice unit.

Exactly what I needed. Small enough to fit on my counter and doesn’t take a lot of space. Fits 8 bottles comfortably including a champagne bottle.

I will give a 5 for inside space, for cooling, but I would loved to see a thermometer and a motion light build in. I got both on Amazon for few dollars. Than not sure about the electrical consumption. It seams it turns on a lot. I’ll see when the electrical bill comes.

Great addition to my bar set up. I prefer the coldest setting and was happy it had softened levels of chill. I even convinced my dad and my cousin to buy one!

This wine cooler at first was pretty noisy but for some reason maybe because it was a new had a loud noise coming from it but after being on for 1week The noise disappeared and now it’s quiet

Have been using the wine fridge for a little over a month now. It had some minor dents on the metal cabinet when delivered, but worked fine. Best Buy customer service gave me a discount to keep the damaged fridge. The cabinet wasn’t going to be exposed anyways. The fridge has a mechanic thermostat control knob inside the fridge. I bought a separate thermometer to fine tune the temperature. Using a setting between “normal” and “coldest” I have been able to maintain 48 degrees consistently. The fridge’s compressor makes a popping noise when the thermostat tells the fridge to turn on or off. This was a common concern made by other customers. It isn’t overly noticeable, and I have the fridge tucked away in a pantry closet, so it is even less noticeable. For the money, this is a good fridge, no frills, but one of the few which uses a compressor to cool verses a thermoelectric motor. The advantage is you can cool lower with a compressor than with a thermoelectric motor.

My NewAir wine cooler is a great deal for the PRICE! I had canceled a GE Wine Cooler that was backordered & much pricier.

My NewAir wine cooler arrived EARLIER than expected! Which was an exciting start! It arrived at the top of my 23 steps in perfect packing condition.

I recommend getting this model because it is ALL BLACK, there is less chance of it getting dented or showing finger prints like a stainless steel appliance would have.

It is a TIGHT FIT on the SHELVES.

I recommend that your wine bottles be ALTERNATED laying the bottles one forward , and the next one backward, in the metal racks. This makes it for easier to fit the maximum number.

the fridge came damaged, base door bracket bent & 1 rubber foot was missing. I didn't want the hassle of returning, so i had my handyman repair the door bracket & i purchased a rubber foot. this is more of a best buy review vs. product review. the mini fridge itself seems fine, nothing fancy, but functional.

Nice cooler, a little noisy but nothing I can't handle as its not in my bedroom! LOL although maybe it should be!! It did have a dent on the top but again it's fine.

If you can purchase only from the store. This shipping of this product makes it nearly impossible to not arrive with some sort of damage. So many delicate pieces

Wanted a wine refrigerator that would keep my white wine very cold, just the way my wife likes it. This refrigerator does the trick.

Getting this product shipped can be a mixed bag. Most likely it will come with some kind of damage. It arrived with hinge bent.

They seam to be happy with it. It looked impressive.

Pro: I received my wine fridge in 2 days. Ordering process was so quick and easy!

Pro: I get so many compliments.

Pro: This is a simple & convenient freestanding wine fridge. It’s great for those who typically remember to chill the wine as you’re pulling out your wine glasses.

Pro: It’s quiet. The blue light is very illuminating.

Pro: who cares about the 2 bottle capacity difference? I use one fridge for white and the other for red. The dual temp control was confusing for me. The actual digital temp was all over the place. See cons below.

Con: The Brand name “Danby” is on the glass door on this model. Not the case with my Danby wine fridge in my relaxation room.

Con: Needs leg extenders/risers to make it easier to open the door while on carpet.

Con: 36 bottles depend on the size of your wine bottles. Not every wine bottle is slender.

Con: I entered my full delivery address complete with my apartment unit number. Why was my labeled & very OBVIOUS wine fridge delivered and left on the walkway? Not even under the porch covering to the apartment entry. The main door to the corridor is unlocked for deliveries but the uncovered sidewalk was considered a better option? It rained before I got home from work. Yeah… so that happened. My super kind elderly neighbor had so much fun getting a wet heavy fridge inside the entry way to protect it from the rain. (Bless his socks)

Con: the settings are off a couple of degrees. If you are that concerned about a couple of degrees for a minimally priced freestanding wine fridge just use it for one type or splurge for a second fridge.

Con: you can only plug ONE fridge into the outlet with “no other item plugged into the outlet” PER MANUFACTURER’S RECOMMENDATION. So plan your space with that in mind.

In summary: I love this product. Best Buy has always been a solid and reputable company for me. The delivery was crappy but there was no damage. Many would think it’s no big deal to leave it outside. However, Amazon has delivered much larger items to my 2nd floor apartment door. So there is a higher standard out there. I’m happy to get my deliveries inside the main floor entry. Aside from the delivery debacle, I’m very satisfied 9/10.

First, it is not a 36 bottle wine cooler. All I can get in it is 32. Very misleading. Also, Danby missed it on the leveling leg. It will not extend long enough. I have a wooden shim under mine to level the wine cooler. Although I recommended it, I did with reservations. Know before you buy. Do your research. Expect less value on this one.

I need to have this Wine Cooler fro my expanded Wine selection and it fits perfectly in my Kitchen. It also have room from a few soda cans.

As for the product it’s great .

Plenty of space for wine bottles, but it’s a bit noisy and seems to continuously run. I’m basically using it as a wine storage box, I’ll turn it on when I want chilled wine.

Good wine fridge. Shelves aren't adjustable as I thought nor do they pull out. So far so good.

Had this wine cooler for about 3 months plus now. Not only is it great for the price (all other brands were twice the cost of this), its functionalities are perfect. It has two separate compartments where you can set their own individual temperatures if you would like to set different temperatures for white or red wine. It comes with a lock on the front and its front vent helps because it is designed for an in-built wine room. I love and don't regret my purchase. It's fairly quiet too which is a plus

This is my wife's refer but she loves it and the fact that it has two seperate areas for white and red wines. Never had any problems with it. keeps wine at just the right temp. If you are looking for a quality wine cooler this is it.

Purchased this wine cooler almost exactly a year ago, and so far it has performed pretty well. It's out of the way, so we don't notice any unusually loud operation, and it maintains temperature reasonably well. I have both zones set to 52 degrees, and my remote thermometer says it's cooled to 56 degrees. I didn't expect precision for the price, and the temperature doesn't bounce around, so it's all good. Shelves are a bit of a squeeze for anything other than standard bottles (CDP or Pinot bottles are a challenge), and pull out shelves would be nice, but this has been a decent cooler for a decent price.

I like the dual zone, but I am not completely sold on the appearance. Otherwise, it's good.

I find this very loud (compared to our previous less expensive fridge). The racks are a bit tight, but you have extra room on the top shelf and bottom for those bigger or different shaped bottles. The packing isn’t great, was a bit scratched on top.

I am giving this one a second try. It had an issue so I can to purchase as a replacement. This is the 3rd one I've had to purchase (Thank God for Geek Squad). It may be my last. I will let you know and update if it fails me. It seems like it is overheating the "compressor" or so they said - which was causing the ice to build up inside and not allowing the unit to cool down to the temperature I assigned.

Giving this one more chance because it fits PERFECTLY with my kitchen.

This is a great little wine cooler but it does make a little noise frequently. Not loud by any stretch and any refrigeration unit will make some noise but I was surprised by how often it appears to spin up/cycle.

After looking at several under the counter (to fill in the old trash compactor space) wine fridge storage units, this one looked like the right choice. Keeps wine held at the correct temperature, holds many bottles but not as many as it says due to bottles being all different sizes now at the 750 ml size. I would recommend this unit, and stays quiet while motor/fan run as well.

The Whynter 33 bottle refrigerator is a great choice.

Love having a separate wine fridge. This makes entertaining much better and it's nice to have several ready at all times.

Worked for 1 year 11 months and then it didn't. Had a repairman look at it and said there was a freon leak - which would cost $300 to repair.

I'll admit I didn't purchase the wtty contract, but I certainly expected an appliance costing north of $500 to last more than 2 years (we have small refrigerators here in our offices that have lasted 5+years).

Anyhow, hoping that our family's deliberate and committed loyalty to BestBuy (to support big box retailers and their employees) would be rewarded this one time, I took the wine cooler back to the BB to see if I could get some meaningful discount on a new one. This was not to be the case. Bummer.

Jeff Bezos and the behemoth called Amazon will henceforth be receiving all our business.

- We bought this fridge for $200. Good price.

- Took it home, setup in a side room off our living area and on carpet by adding rubber feet lifts so the door would open and better air circ. 4" rear space requirement is a bit ugly.

- Left it for a day, then plugged in. It started ok and began cooling.

- Compressor noise is motivating me to return this item. I had wanted a quiet thermo-electric and in spite of the great price I paid, it is probably too intrusive for me to tollerate.

- Light must be manually turned on/off, after unlocking the panel each time a change is desired.

- Bottle fit with all bottles is very tight. Most 750ml bottles fit ok, but some fatter shaped bottles do not fit at all or throw off the shelf alignment. I was able to get 5 per shelf by staggering some bottles with top in first. Also, I recommend racking with labels on the side as the bottle glass slides better against the rack top/bottom and you won't rip all your labels this way. It really baffles me why they build these fridges to fit bottles so tight. No excuse for a poor design.

- Temp display says 50F but our fridge thermometer on the middle rack says 54F. Hmmm.

You can understand that you might want to lock out the control panel, but it should be your choice. You have to unlock it just to turn on the interior light which is a drag. It also seems to default to 52 degrees F on power failure. The biggest crime of all is having to buy it only on-line. It cost $250. and I had to pay an additional $150 in tax and shipping costs. Total was just over $400.

I found it elsewhere on-line, but it would have cost around the same from other places.

Was very pleased until started making loud humming noise about two weeks in. Tried exchange and same thing.

Shipping was fine, no problems. When plugged in it appeared to work. None of the controls on the door worked. No way to adjust the temperature, turn on light, etc. There is no base, so it sits flush to the floor. Cannot be opened on a carpet.

Great space for wine. Basket at the bottom for larger sparkling wine/champagne. Great purchase!

Great product. So far no issues. Wife uses it primarily for red (we rarely have white) so we didn't need dualzone. I found that all of the dual zones i found were designed to hold a lot of white, and a few reds.

Belive it or not, the spacing between the depressions in the shelves is about a quarter of an inch smaller than the witdh of most typical wine bottles. This means you have to leave every other slot open and can't put one bottle directly above another on a tray. I could only fit 2 to 3 bottles on a shelf that was suposed to fit 5. I bought two of these and returned them both in exchange for 32-bottle Cuisinart coolers (that actually hold 32 bottles). The Cuisinart models cost a bit more, but are clearly better built.

Just had it delivered yesterday. Pluged it in and had 5 bottles as per the instructions. After 3-5 minutes the features on the front shut off and you can't do anything with it except unplug and try again. After 5 attempts gave up. Hope I can return to store as I don,t plan on spending another $90.00 to ship it back. I have a Vinotemp 12 bottle and it works great.
