This is perfect! If you like the older episodes of SpongeBob you'll love this. I bought this recently for the family and it's been great. They even added cut out parts that were on the original DVDs which is cool and interesting if you've never had the original DVDs. So yes, I love it! It comes with the first five seasons and it looks really well. So I recommend it to SpongeBob fans and those looking for a gift for big fans of the series, it's well worth it.

We had been looking for the original Sponge Bob movie on DVD and couldn't find it anywhere. Now we have both movies in one collection. My kids would always want me to watch Sponge Bob with them when they were growing up (now they are graduating college and high school), so watching the movies with them brought back a lot of memories and laughs.

That pretty much shows that this not only appeals to kids, but to adults also . I love SpongeBob too! She loved season 7....of course, although she did let me know that the humor in the later seasons (like this one) is more adult risqué than the first couple of seasons....so for small children, I might not advise. Be safe and get Season 1.

I put this on to calm them down before the take a nap. It always relaxes them and takes their focus away from fighting each other. When I get sleepy I put them in their beds and set sleep timer for 30mins. They doze right off for a great afternoon nap.

Nick has a history of putting on great cartoons. Some of the best episodes always seem to be the seasonally specific ones -- especially the Halloween shows. Of course there's nothing too scary here, but that's to be expected. There's a good mix of humor to round out the spookiness. My grandson loves to watch this DVD at all times of the year. An active imagination and a love for Halloween are all that's required to get the most out of these shows.

I had the original releases of Seasons 1 & 2 from back in the day, and wanted to pick up the 3rd. It includes the pilot episode which is great since, for some reason, it wasn’t included in the original Season 1 DVD set. One thing to note, this is the newer slim case edition with different cover art than what is pictured. Other than that, it’s a classic.

I had the original releases of Seasons 1 & 2 from back in the day, and wanted to pick up the 3rd. It includes the pilot episode which is great since, for some reason, it wasn’t included in the original Season 1 DVD set. One thing to note, this is the newer slim case edition with different cover art than what is pictured. Other than that, it’s a classic.

A season full of timeless episodes that are still amazing nearly two decades later!

The complete 4th season, and for much cheaper than when you could only buy it in volumes 1 and 2.

Received it quick with no issues. Very funny but would only recommend seasons 1-4 after that it is not that funny. Don't know why they changed the formula for the show.

But I digress, this movie was for my four year old, who loves it, and insists on watching it at least once a day, every day, since it was released. I'm SO glad he's enjoying it. The movie is actually funny, and the 3D effects are pretty good.

So I stopped at BestBuy and bought The SpongeBob Movie Sponge Out Of Water on blue ray. When I took it home, The Beach Ball was in great Condition no holes or anything. I recommend this movie set to any People Who like SpongeBob.

1. The 2d, 3d, and DVD discs all have different content on it. The 3D disc has a deleted scene in 3d. The 2d Blu-ray disc has the rest of the extra features on it, but the DVD disc only has the movie. This can be inconvenient.

2. The cover of the 3D Blu-ray is like the advertising for the movie when it came to theaters: it misrepresents the movie. The movie is, truthfully, barely animated with 3D animation. Most of the movie looks like an average Spongebob episode. Perhaps this is not as interesting to show on a poster, but still, it misrepresents the movie and causes some people to not be as interested in seeing it.

The Positive:

1. That said, the cover features wildly goofy artwork in 3D that matches the wildly goofy tone of the movie and it is sure to stand out in any movie collection.

2. I have not watched this in 3D yet, but I imagine the movie's use of 3D and 2D animation would make for an unique presentation and that gives me a bonus experience to look forward to in the future.

3. I LOVE this movie. It IS wildly goofy and it makes me laugh and smile. I've barely seen the TV show so one can still enjoy this without extensive knowledge of the source material.

4. There is no movie, aside from maybe the first Spongebob movie, that I have seen that is quite as off-the-wall as this one. The movie stands out and this package, while not without flaw, offers the most complete options to watch it. It's a pretty solid presentation of the Sponge, overall.
