This was a perfect addition, I needed the space saving in my new tower computer I have 2 SSD drives and 3 standard drives.

Simple and cheap and can hold multiple SSDs. Couldn’t really ask for more.

Great little caddy. Just make sure not to lose the screws.

Otherwise, its exactly what you would want a metal tray to handle 2 2.5" drives in one 3.5" bay.

Needed this enclosure for my ssd drives , I got this one on sale and it was a bargain . It is well made and has all the screws you need to fasten two ssd’s.

Needed a 2.5" enclosure for two SSDs I was installing and came upon the CORSAIR Dual SATA Drive Enclosure for 2.5" SSD Drives. Never realized they made such things! lol Killed two birds with one stone so to speak. In fact, the price at Best Buy was cheaper than if I were to buy two separate enclosures for each drive. I have a few CORSAIR components in my system and have always been satisfied with the quality so it was an easy decision to purchase this.

Didnt need this after i bought it so i returned it, but its a very function enclosure for ssd drives. The different ways it can be mounted make it very versatile. Very good product for the do it your self computer people.

Worked perfectly. No problem getting the cables to fit since I had 1 90 degree cable. I figure that's what I would recommend, a 90 degree for one drive and a head-on for the other.

I purchased this to mount a new Samsung SSD. The bracket can hold 2 ssd's with the included hardware, but to mount the actual bracket inside your case might require some additional hardware (or steal the screws off the old drive if you're replacing)

This is a good enclosure. I connected my Samsung 850 EVO SSD to it to use as an external boot drive for Windows 2 Go and she works fine. However when I ran a CrystalDiskMark benchmark (3 passes) I find that it's slower than a similar external SSD connected via USB 3.0

So just keep in mind, this will not fully saturate your SSD speeds if you're buying this for an SSD, which I did.

What I expected was full USB 3.0 speeds which I didn't get. But the product works, so I've awarded 3/5 stars.

Initially purchased this item to transfer data from an old HDD to a newer SSD on a laptop. The HDD attached to a SATA connector on a small circuit board with a USB 3.0 Micro B cable connection (cable provided) on the other side. You can insert the drive into the bay of the enclosure but isn't absolutely necessary if your drive won't fit. Installation took no time. I left the drive in the enclosure as an expansion/backup for use around the house.

It is not of a bad quality but costs too much for such a slow performance. It is twice as slow as other USB3 enclosures that are sold in other places for half of this price. Also it uses screws ... you can find enclosures with better locking options to let you easy swap drives inside. Do not buy unless you are in rush.

Great little enclosure that can provide you with great flexibility for additional storage housing either a HD or SSD for your laptop. I have several with SSDs and HDs, taking only those specific ones needed for business or on vacations. I place decals on the enclosure to identify the contents.

I added this to my Xbox one for extra game space. Loading games off of this is so much quicker than standard HDD.

Works great. Doesn't take up too much space. The only thing I can say bad about it is that it makes it hard to easily switch drives. Screws and all instead of just a slide in like others.

Very sleek case. Easy to assemble. I had a 1TB internal drive that fit perfectly.

It's sturdy, my old laptop HD fits perfectly and I will purchase another case, in the near future.

This was the first time I had to purchase an enclosure for one of my hard drives. I'm glad I went with this one because instructions were simple, and it has so far held up nicely. It's been a few months, and I wanted to wait to write this review in case something happened to the case. If you're looking to make an old hard drive into an external, this case is a good choice to go with.

Easy to use. Was able to save all my files from my hard drive. My old PC's motherboard got fried and made the PC inoperable. With this product I was able to save both my files and set aside the hard drive for another PC.

I had a 256G drive I salvaged from an older iMAC. I loaded into the case hooked it up and turned it on and it is running great in interface to my iMAC. Only slight hitch I had was getting the drive seated in the case. The case tabs that snap into the drive guides were a little tricky to get expanded and it took a couple of tries to get it done.

Worked perfectly and is exactly as described, helped me out with my older 3.5 hard drive!

I picked this up to replace an older hard drive enclosure with serial connections, I am moving from an old computer to my new one. It was a tight squeeze getting the drive into this one but it is easy to connect and use and the transfer of my files has gone seamlessly

Exactly what I needed to get the info off the old computer that died. Terabyte HD fit in the case, power and plugged in the USB, and transferred the information and pictures easily.

Rebuilt my home computer and placed my former internal hard drive in this enclosure - works as expected, able to access all my old files.

Had no problems with this item. It was just the wrong size for my needs.

For me this was an excellent solution to recover an old SSD from my former Laptop that died. Easy to install and it worked plug and play. And as a bonus a very cheap way to reuse an old SSD as an external hard drive.

The complete system is nice and small, the only downside is the very specific connection cable that comes with it. It would have been great to have a more generic USB-C or Mico-USB connection on the enclosure itself so that cables would be interchangeable. Now when the cable would be lost or broken I imagine it will be pretty hard to get another one.

Works flawlessly. A computer with mSATA SSD crashed. I bought this from the local Best Buy. It took only minutes to put the drive in this case with the screw driver that came with it. Easy peasy. Worked like a charm.

I needed an enclosure for mSATA drives. It makes transferring files from an old (smaller) mSATA drive to a larger drive easier. Takes about 30 seconds to install the mSATA drive and get it up and running. If you need an enclosure this one works well.

Despite being told by bby com that it would work with my msata drives it doesn’t.

Mfr makes one that WILL but chooses to jack the price more than double hence bby doesn’t carry nor sell it

Best buys website shows this as part of a bundle when buying Samsung evo pro or evo 970 plus PCI e nNVME m.2 SSD. But it does not work for the Samsung SSD since it on the M key and this enclosure is set for B key. So it is very disappointing to have waited a whole week for this just so that it wont work, return and look for a different option

This M.2 NGFF SATA Enclosure with a USB-C plug worked perfectly for me! My work laptop had a problem, and I could no longer boot the laptop. I ordered this in the hope of pulling the M.2 drive and getting off any data that isn’t in my auto backup folders before the drive would be reformatted. It was perfect. Super easy to just unscrew the one screw holding it on the motherboard and rescrew it onto the little adapter board they give you. Then plug in the cable to the board and your USB-C port in your functioning computer. Reads just like an external drive and is super fast to read or write. I included photos of the M.2 drive I used next to the adapter, so you can see the required connections, and I also included one with the M.2 drive sitting on the laptop motherboard just before slipping it back in afterwards, so you can compare what yours looks like.

Nice little M.2 enclosure. Its designed to make your own portable SSD. I was hoping it was more of a quick enclosure that you could just quick swap m.2 into for memory recovery, but this is meant more as a semi-permanent solution to make your own usb ssd. That aside, its very simple, just plug it in via usb-c and it mounts like any other hard drive.

When I purchased this, I read the description, but I didn't look at the one photo of the box. The box was the ONLY place that mentioned that this is for SATA drives which is not what I needed. I give credit to Best Buy for making the return very easy. Since I didn't use it, I can't rate it on Quality or Ease of Use.

I returned this item. It would not read a Samsung 980 PRO drive. Probably works fine for other drives. Mounting screw for drive is rather small. Screw should have more threads to catch when you tighten.

I hardly could find an external enclosure for a small laptop SSD card.
