I'd always wanted to try Beats, and caught these on sale...OMG the sound quality! I'm a huge fan of IPhone ear pods, but Beats wins the contest hands down. Great volume, great bass - absolutely impressive. Even over the riding mower while cutting the grass. Love, love, love these!
Apr 19, 2020 09:52I purchased these for my 14 yr old to replace a pair he had that the part that goes into the jack of his phone he broke by accident. He loves these just like the black pair he has.
Mar 16, 2018 17:37My headphones fit perfectly. I have small ears and the headphones are comfortable.
May 17, 2019 10:37Bought this headphone for my smule karaoke and i love it.
Jun 20, 2018 18:32Sound is just ok. Volume not great & doesn't always connect to both speakers on an ipod.
Aug 25, 2017 17:45Bought these for my son and he uses them everyday. Very durable for a teenage boy. great sound for the price.
Dec 19, 2018 17:02Very nice and the price was good. Sound is nice. Love them
Jun 12, 2021 17:56Crystal clear sound. Great buy for the price. My son loves his headphones
Apr 22, 2017 07:23Beats Studio³ Wireless headphones deliver a premium listening experience with Pure Adaptive Noise Cancelling (Pure ANC) to actively block external noise, and real-time audio calibration to preserve clarity, range, and emotion. It continuously pinpoints sounds to block while automatically responding to individual fit and music playback. The efficiency of the Apple W1 chip supports up to 22 hours of battery life with Pure ANC on, and Pure ANC off for low-power mode provides up to 40 hours of playback.
Great sound ! Great quality ! I love the noise canceling feature it’s amazing how far technology has came to be. Bass on this is great and vocals are crispy! Definitely recommend specially if you want to enjoy music as you cook or go for a walk. Been having mines for a while now since 7/2020 and barely replaced the ear pads as I accidentally tore one very easy to replace tho! Charge fast and last a long time on a single charge ! Travel case is very helpful too I absolutely love my headphones ! I was a bit bummed out when I found out the price dropped a couple weeks after I got mines … I paid $360 and later I saw them for $200 something would’ve been nice to get the refund for the difference but great headphones and definitely worth it if you want to have great bass and great quality
Oct 16, 2021 02:05Love them! First and foremost I'm an Android phone user, and I have zero problems connecting them to my phone. Piece of cake one button beep beep beep connected. Love that.
Second I'm not a disc jockey, a professional musician, I don't work in a sound lab, or a studio. I wear these when I play poker. And I'm not a professional card player. I just dislike sitting at tables with annoying people... That's why I love them I got them in Red, so when I put them on there totally obvious that's why I don't even have to try them on sometimes I can just put them on my head people see that I'm wearing them and they leave me alone while I can hear everything going on at the table nobody talks to me because they think I can't hear them. When I am wearing and then the sound is phenomenal and nobody can hear what I'm listening to... So well I can hear faintly what they're saying they have no idea if I'm listening to Classic Rock hardcore 90s cuss word least rap or Britney Spears pop rock from the 2000s... I love my Beats I watch them like a hawk and I would recommend them with five stars to anybody who is interested thank you dr. Dre
Jan 07, 2019 05:49I've had this for only a few days but I love them. I had the on the ear headphones and they weren't a great. They hurt my ears when I first purchased them and I couldn't workout put in then without having to adjust them constantly. These headphones don't budge while working out. They don't hurt my ears. The noise cancellation is ok but I can deal.
Oct 27, 2021 16:16Can’t be beat for great acoustic sound and noise reduction. My son is autistic and can’t be without them. They provide optimal reduction in sensory stimulation.
One issue, they usually break in the same place (hinging joints) in around 6 - 9 months... strongly recommend extended warranty! Even with this defect, unable to find a better product.
Feb 15, 2020 19:51As a radio host I will not work with out them. Don’t care about wireless although that’s great I need the cord to plug into the studio system...And the sound of my voice in my headphones gives me a more accurate feel for what they hear in my voice...trust me it’s different
May 15, 2020 23:13Thdy are amazing but when i try and talk on my livestream chats the microphone quality sucks. But they are far better than the ones that are on the ear, as they dont make my ears soar after im wearing them for hours for my classwork
Sep 25, 2021 13:10I bought these as part of an open box purchase online without even looking at them. I do love the product they're great pair of headphones. They came with all the extras that they're supposed to.
The only issues I had one there little tight on the head become uncomfortable after a while. The other I drive a Jeep so my ride is kind of bumpy sometimes not that I'm driving listening to headphones as a passenger. But whenever you hit bumps and you have the device doing its proper job you do get some good pumps from the base.
Have an Android instead of an iPhone so there were some issues in the initial setup and pairing of the device but after awhile it all worked out and works on multiple devices now.
Jan 17, 2018 17:58Everything's brand new! My first time to have a beats headphones. One of the best! I can now alternate between my beats studios and beats studio buds! I also bought applecare for 2 years! I hope this will last.
Sep 11, 2021 00:19With up to 40 hours of battery life, Beats Solo³ Wireless is your perfect everyday headphone. With Fast Fuel, a 5-minute charge gives you 3 hours of playback. Enjoy award-winning Beats sound with Class 1 Bluetooth® wireless listening freedom. The on-ear, cushioned ear cups are adjustable so you can customize your fit for all-day comfort.
I recently got these headphones and I am still just as in love with them as I was when I first got them! Not only is the design super sleek, they are super lightweight and easy to carry around. They also are very comfortable on the ears and do exactly as marketed. I would high suggest getting these for yourself or someone you love :)
BTW the color is STUNNING!!!!
Nov 03, 2021 22:14On the website it shows this item comes with the auxiliary cord and i had purchased last year 4 of this same model and it came complete with all accessories shown on site. I went back to Best Buy and showed them the cord was missing so they were very nice and returned it and place another order, so they order comes in and the same problem so i called Beats and they are owned by Apple and they told me that that cord does not come with that cable. i tried to explain to them that when i login to that products it shows it. please see below what i am saying is correct. they told me to take it back to Best Buy again because they dont sell it with that cord. Best Buy just buys the product to sell it, they dont package it....... what a disappointment and waste of my time as i had to wait longer bc of COVID 19. the manager at Best Buy was very nice and provided a generic for the time being. I think if i bought a quality item it should come complete and as the others ones i bought. i like name brand not generic for that i could have gotten a generic headset and paid less.

Jul 14, 2020 08:51I d ever used Beat before - i heard a lot about it.. Finally i had got it.. Just only one words” Wonderful”
Jul 31, 2020 20:39I am in love with these headphones, I had a pair but it stopped working wirelessly so I got another pair. I can never go wrong with rose gold love it very feminine.
May 07, 2021 18:03Got for my birthday and I love them they work great for the gym!
Sep 11, 2020 16:59I cannot wear these headphones for more than 3 hours. I bought these because my last pair of wireless headphones broke on me in the middle of Zoom Uni. So, I decided to splurge and they have a nice base, so music is fun to listen too. I can hear everyone when I have class, meetings, or workshops. They are just very uncomfortable the cushion is actually too plush it just squishes all the way down and you can feel the hard framework behind it. I wear glasses and since it is so snug if I don't adjust my glasses I will have deep indents of my glasses on my head. They are also not comfortable to wear with a mask. Overall this $200+ purchase is probably not my favorite. I wish I could find comfier headphones that won't break on me in a year, but for now I'll have to suffice with these. *Also sorry for the bad photo, my hair is messy since I have to put it up for work, but the red frame is my glasses, and I'm wearing my mask.
Sep 28, 2020 16:22My granddaughter loves them it was her best birthday gift and was excited it was delivered as promised she was so happy
Jul 02, 2021 16:07I loved the beats solo 3 but there frágil they start to detach and the noise starts having problems at a certain time but none the less I would recommend
Jul 02, 2021 20:06Get inspired with Solo Pro noise cancelling wireless headphones. To deliver sound how you want it, Solo Pro features two listening modes: Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) and Transparency. Beats' Pure ANC gives you the space to create with fully immersive sound, while Transparency helps you stay aware of your surroundings. Every detail of Solo Pro has been carefully considered, right down to the intuitive way the headphones turn on and off via folding. The ergonomic design delivers exceptional comfort for extended wear and sleek style. And with up to 22 hours of battery life, you can keep the music going no matter where your day takes you. Solo Pro offers Class 1 Bluetooth for extended range and fewer dropouts.
I can’t believe I own a set of Beats headphones. More importantly, I can’t believe I’m loving them. Let me explain why. Until now, I was never impressed with Beats. To me, Beats headphones were more about making a statement with the “b” on each ear cup for people who don’t really care about great sound. That was until I listened to the new Beats Solo Pro. I’ve had mine now for a few days and have spent many hours listening to all genres of music. I can honestly say the Solo Pro is really really good!
These are most definitely not the Beats which were. These Beats go in a totally new direction and I’m honestly stunned at how much I’m enjoying them. Gone is the boomy, mushy rattle your head bass with little regard to mid and upper frequencies. Gone is glossy, cheap plastics. When Apple bought Beats a few years ago, Apple has been infusing Beats with higher and higher levels of quality, especially in terms of sound. And these Solo Pro are without question the best Beats headphones I’ve heard.
In typical Apple fashion, these come packaged superbly. Once you remove the outside plastic wrap on the box, you flip one side of the box down to fold all sides of the box flat in Apple-esque style to reveal the carrying case, with the headphones inside. There’s a hidden slide out tray with the Lightning to USB cable and a caribiner you can attach for extra’s if you need to carry additional accessories or attach them to your backpack.
My daily drivers have been a much more expensive pair of high-end Bluetooth, Active Noise Cancelling (ANC), over-the ear headphones. Are the Solo Pro the equal of them? No, but they also cost less. and they sound really good. Beats has done a terrific job with the look and feel of the Solo Pro. They come in multiple colors from light to vivid blue, black, ivory, gray and like the pair I have, red. The design is modern and sleek looking. Beats is using high-quality plastics, which are matte finished and seemingly impervious to fingerprints. Behind the plastics are aluminum, which is anodized to compliment the color of the headphones and everything moves and slides with a feeling of long-lasting goodness. There is no power button on these puppies. To turn them on you unfold them on and you fold them back to turn them off. The ear cups are not leather but are certainly soft and didn’t make my ears sweat like some cheap pleather I’ve worn before. Underneath is memory foam which is soft and adjusts to the contours of your ears well.
For iPhone/iPad user like me, you’ll love how simple it is pair these headphones. Apple uses the H1 Chip in their new headphones. Once you unfold them to power them on, they instantly pop up on your iPhone screen (without having to go into Settings/Bluetooth) and you simply tap to connect. Going even further, if you have multiple iDevices, the headphones will now be paired with every device you have which uses the same Apple ID. With six devices under the same Apple ID, it’s a blessing to be honest. You can pair them to any device which accepts Bluetooth headphones. So, Android you’re not left out. Apple says they are Class 1 Bluetooth. Their range is beyond amazing. Many BT devices have a range of around 30 – 40 feet at most. Not these puppies. You can go way further from your paired device than I’ve gone with any BT headphone I’ve ever owned. I didn’t lose connection until I got at least 100 feet from my iPhone. There are no latency issues with videos either.
On the Apple side, there is no App for the Solo Pro. There is a Beats App available for Android for pairing and firmware updates. There are no EQ settings. You either like how they sound, or you don’t. Or you can download an EQ app, if you feel you need one. In my opinion good headphones shouldn’t need equalization to sound good. I don’t adjust EQ on my other headphones, even though I can. These are truly tap and play headphones!
Controls on the Solo Pro are physical, not touch. From personal experience with touch controls, the concept is better than reality. An unintended swipe can pause or change your music when you didn't want to. The Solo Pro controls are simple and intuitive. Press the center of the right ear cup once to pause your music. Tap it again to play. A double press skips to the next track or a triple press goes back to the previous track. Hold the top of the button to increase volume and hold the bottom to lower volume. Press and hold the center button to bring up the virtual assistant or if you're an Apple user simply say "Hey Siri." The only other control is on the left ear cup, where you can turn ANC and Transparency Mode on or off.
Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) in the Solo Pro is adaptive, meaning the headphones monitor outside sounds to apply the right amount of noise cancellation without negatively impacting your music. While noise cancelling is great in noisy environments, there are times you need to hear some of what’s going on around you. So the Solo Pro also includes Transparency Mode. With Transparency Mode, you’ve got noise cancellation, but you can also hear outside sounds. This is one area the Solo Pro outshines all my other headphones. Outside sounds don’t sound digital or altered. Some people place a huge amount of importance on ANC. I don’t buy headphones for ANC. I buy headphones for their sound quality and ANC is just a nice addition. To that end the ANC and Transparency Mode on the Solo Pro is all I could ever need and then some.
Let's talk comfort. No matter how good headphones sound, if they're not comfortable you won't enjoy them. I’ve read reviews where people said they are uncomfortable. One person complained they couldn't run with them. To think these would make good running headphones makes no sense to me. For running, choose a good pair of earbuds which lock in place, not an over the ear headphone which can bounce when you run. I found if you don't extend the ear cup arms far enough from their shortest length, they can be a little tight. But if you adjust them to extend lower on your ear, the comfort level increases significantly. It did for me and I wear glasses, which hasn't been an issue at all. Maybe Apple will offer these in an over the ear version at some point. Anyone considering these will just need to try them on at their Best Buy store to see how they feel on their head.
A final note about comfort: There is no "L" "R" markings on the ear cups. That doesn't mean it doesn't matter which way you wear them. It matters a lot. The right ear cup has the lightning charging port and physical controls for pause/play/volume/answer/track selection. Trust me, if you put them on backwards, they're most definitely not comfortable. It made me wonder if some people who thought they were uncomfortable, wore them backwards?
Sound trumps all when it comes to headphones. These aren’t the Beats of just a few years ago and was for me, the single biggest surprise. I commented earlier that bass doesn’t overwhelm and it doesn’t. But bass isn’t lacking either. If you play music with heavy bass, it’s powerful, with great oomph. It just doesn’t cover up what the rest of the music is doing and that’s why I think they’ve improved significantly. Symphonic music is full, with a great sound stage. Piano music resonates perfectly. Vocals sound smooth and natural. And the highest frequencies, such as cymbals, triangle or harpsichord are brilliant, without sounding shrill or harsh. Remarkably, turning on ANC didn’t diminish the sound stage, which often happens with headphones using noise cancelling circuitry. Call quality with the Solo Pro was terrific. I’ve made/answered several calls with them. I could hear them clearly and they could hear me clearly.
Battery life on the Solo Pro is great! You can get up to 22 hours of play on a single charge with ANC or Transparency on. If you don’t use ANC or Transparency, you can get up to 40 hours on a single charge. That’s FORTY HOURS!! And if you need to recharge on the go, you can plug in for 10 minutes (Fast Fuel) to get 3 hours of play time. It wasn’t long ago getting up to 6 hours was considered great for wireless headphones.
With all the praise, is there anything to criticize? Here are the few cons I can think of, which really don’t amount to anything significant:
1. The carrying case provided, while nice and soft is well, soft. I don’t like soft cases. I purchased a hard case to provide more protection during transport.
2. The Solo Pro doesn’t offer a wired connection. I you want or need one, you can buy an Apple lightning to 3.5 mm headphone plug for $35.
3. It’s disappointing to see Apple chose lighting to USB to charge these. It’s time (IMHO) for Apple to retire the Lighting connector. With Pro in their name, I would have expected USB C.
4. These don’t pause if you take them off your ears (you need to remember to tap the right ear cup once to pause them), which I find odd, given much less expensive headphones pause if removed.
5. For those who want to adjust EQ, you can’t since there’s no app provided. If you think you need one, there are options in both App Stores.
If this all I can come up with, it’s honestly trivial and in no way should stop you from giving serious consideration to the Solo Pro.
All in all, the new Beats Solo Pro, bring Beats forward many steps from the Beats from just a few years ago. They’re well-made, with premium feeling materials. They sound terrific, in fact far better than I expected. They’re for the most part comfortable and for $300 are a really great value. Beats, you made a believer of me and that’s not easy to do. Or maybe with quality and sound like this, it was.
Note: I took one star off for comfort and for not pausing when taken off your head. Otherwise, these are 5 star headphones.
Dec 06, 2019 21:32So, these are exciting for a few different reasons. Starting with these are the first headphones that were designed in collaboration with Apple from the very start. Second, the headphones were built from the ground up by both Beats and the engineers at Apple. These have the same quality assurance (QA) of the rest of Apples products and you can even take them to an Apple Store if you are having problems. These come with a fold to power On and Off and a carrying case which make them very portable and easy. All these things lead to a product that quite honestly, I did not expect. As I have not liked Beats in the past because they come with poor build quality, comfort, features, and bass heavy sound at the expense of everything else for a premium price. But that has now changed, for the better, and it is dramatically noticeable which leads to a solid product that depending on your niche may be an excellent choice for you.
Some specs that they do not highlight that I think are solid selling features are it comes with Apples H1 chip. Which is the same one that just released with the Airpod Pros. This makes use with Apple products seamless and with IOS 13 allows the use of “Hey Siri” and Audio Sharing. They also have Class 1 Bluetooth which means that it can transmit up to 100 meters (328 feet) where Class 2 is about 10 meters (33 feet) which is what most devices come with. It does this at the cost of power, but you can get 22 hours with ANC on and up to 40 hours with ANC/transparency off so you won’t notice. Which is great. They also have sweat resistance which rarely comes on these types of devices. They also have quick charge which we have come to expect with most products where you get three hours of use after just 10 minutes of charge. They are the first On Ear headphones that have ANC from Beats and do the same as the Airpod Pros and make sure the noise cancellation isn’t messing with your music by comparing the waveform with the ANC on the original source file in real time and making subtle adjustments when necessary to give you the best sound.
So now that all that marketing is out of the way how does it translate to the product?
PACKAGING:
Beats have always had awesome packaging. For this particular product it’s probably one of the coolest and most satisfying openings I’ve ever had. Inside you get the headphones (matte red in my case), carrying case, and a black USB-A to Lightning cable.
AETHETICS/BUILD QUALITY:
I’ve found the previous models of Beats to feel cheap. But I am very pleased with these guys. They have better than expected durability and overall feel sturdy (especially to years past).
Starting from the top down they have a plastic head band (but on the inside I think they have a small aluminum band ¼ of an inch or less). And the padding there is rubber with just air between it. You can feel that band I was talking about with your thumb if you press hard. People who are sensitive to the top of their hands will probably find this hurts them after a short period of wearing.
On the sides there is more plastic but in-between is aluminum. The adjustable headband slides smoothly. They will work for anyone with a small to medium/large head. But not for large heads. You’ve also got two hinges (which have been weak points previously) that are surrounded with metal in a metal hinge. They bend and straighten easily and feel solid and don’t feel like they would break from normal use. I’m still concerned about really cranking on these guys as there is still a lot of plastic. So, I’d still be careful with them, but you don’t have to baby them.
Moving onto the earcups themselves. They have 40 mm drivers and the earcup cushions have increased surface area to make more contact with your ears for a better seal and comfort from previous models. The drivers are also raised to shoot sound into your ear better and provide a better seal. The clamping force is significant. This is a good thing as it helps create a good seal which leads to improved sound and more effective noise cancelling. It also allows it to not fall off your head if you are running or working out with them. Some may find this to be a negative and may be a bit too much for some where it is uncomfortable. For me I thought they were quite comfortable. But I wouldn’t be able to wear them all day. But I don’t think I could wear any On-Ears all day.
The earpads are also on ball joints that flex a few degrees in all positions to help get that perfect position. This is greatly appreciated as it helps with comfort as each person’s head/ears are unique.
On the right earcup on the circle peace the B is your multi-function button that allows you to play/pause/forward/back/hold for siri. On the top and button of that circle it allows you to volume up/down. It Is the worst part of the whole headphone. As it is relatively loose, is hard to press down, makes a huge racket in your right ear, and is hard to find the center. I don’t like it one bit. On the bottom of that earcup you have the lighting port for charging and a white LED when on. I think it’s red when charging.
On the left earcup you have a tiny little button in the bottom in the center that feels solid that turns on ANC/transparency mode. Or with a double click turns both off. I have no complaints with this button. There is no 3.5 mm input. You’ll have to buy a 3.5 mm to lightning adapter if you want to hardwire it in.
The soft case is made from recycled materials. It feels premium, is soft, padded, smells great (like new shoes), and is not super protective.
SOUND QUALITY:
They are mostly accurate, with an aggressive (forward and bright) character that focuses on vocals. They are articulate, crisp, full, with good imaging and body, with a small soundstage which makes voices and vocals easy to hear and point out. You won’t hear all the nuances of the music but most of them. They have a mostly balanced sound. Bass is solid and accurate, but way less than previous models. Highs are crisp without sounding shrill. Mids also sound good. They are tuned for an exciting listen over a critical listen. I don’t find them to be blanketed, bloated, blurred, congested, colored, or muddy.
For those who don’t understand the terms above. They sound great. Most will greatly enjoy them. Bass heads may be a bit disappointed as they went for a cleaner more accurate sound this time around (which for a Beats product is strange). I have no complaints.
PROS:
• Solid ANC. Not going to beat the best but is solid.
• Great transparency mode. Very similar to the Airpod Pros (which I think do it best). Voices sound like they are coming from microphone and are bit quiet but overall mixes very well and is almost like you don’t have a headphone on.
• Good call quality on both ends.
• Better than expected durability (especially compared to years past),
• Great battery life with quick charge.
• Balanced, clear sound profile (compared to bass heavy at the expense of everything else). Not audiophile but good for a fun listen. Especially for Bluetooth on the go headphones.
• Bass is not super heavy.
• Has lots of cool tech that make it a premium product worth the price tag (balanced sound with microphones to make sure you are getting the best sound experience with ANC, excellent transparency mode, fold on/off, H1 chip, Class 1 Bluetooth, sweat resistance, long battery life, quick charge, Hey Siri, Audio Sharing, on ear controls for everything, highly portable, quick connect to Bluetooth especially for Apple devices which also means low latency time.
• Fantastic portability. Which for Bluetooth headphones is HUGE for me. Are very much like Airpod’s. They are relatively compact and just work. With the added benefit of sounding great (still not audiophile).
• The best product from Beats to date. If you like previous products, I think you’ll really like this one.
• Android app for quick pairing or installing firmware updates.
CONS:
• Plenty of competition. With some depending on your preferences doing things better such as ANC or sound quality.
• Don’t have an app that can change EQ, ANC quality, or other features that some others provide.
• Do not have a feature where they auto pause music if you take them off or lift an earcup.
• Doesn’t auto turn on or off. (I left them on for an hour without anything playing while I did something else and they never turned off).
• No AptX as they are made to work with Apple and the H1 chip. Makes other Android headphones better for those people to reduce latency.
• Not USB C.
• No 3.5 mm input. Have to buy an adapter from Apple if you want to listen hardwired.
• Clamping force is substantial to help with sound, noise cancellation, and keeping them on your head when active.
• Poor on ear controls.
• ANC turns off during calls and “Hey Siri”.
• “Hey Siri” cannot turn on/off ANC or transparency mode.
CONCLUSION:
I’m usually not a fan of Beats. But I really like these. They feel more deserving of the $300. Which some will be willing to pay for. But I’d for sure pick them up on sale. They are still not audiophile quality but have a relatively balanced exciting style to them which makes them enjoyable. They have solid tech. If you’ve liked Beats in the past, I think you’ll really enjoy the newest generation. If you haven’t liked them in the past but use Apple products, they are worth looking into. Same if you are looking for something that is highly portable and straight forward. If you are going for that audiophile sound, sensitive to clamping force, and/or use android you may want to look elsewhere. In comparison to the niche and product demographic these are made for I think they are 5/5. In comparison to other products in this range 4/5. As they do almost everything right.
Dec 06, 2019 21:02The music quality is better then expected! The transparency and ANC is amazing! The only reason I give a 4 star is because of it being on ear headphones, around 30 minutes of wearing, you will need to take a break, due to the constant clamping force, you can’t just move them up to the side of your ear like the studio 3s because you would feel the clamp force pressuring your jaw also. I got mines for $150 for open box, if the status is “excellent“ them I recommend saving a couple of bucks and getting the open box.
Oct 16, 2020 17:56My 10 year old loves this beats pro. All the other on-ear headphones I’ve gotten for him ended up unused because he said it hurt his earlobes after a while. This one is really comfortable even after hours of use- for school, gaming or just watching videos. Battery life is great!
Jan 07, 2021 15:16So I bought a pair of these and the Bose quiet comfort 35 11 , and I got to say I didn’t expect these to complete with the Bose but wow they do I actually thing the stereo separation left to right is a little better on the beats , but the Bose seem a little more detailed when listening to easy rock music and are a lot more comfortable but they will destort at high volumes if you have a good source when listening to hip hop. When testing the same song Gerry Rafferty- get it right next time the beats hit 93 db at the highest note , while the Bose highest was 91 . The noise canceling obviously is better on the Bose but the beats is not bad . There is really no winner out these 2 with the beats on sale your almost 100 dollars cheaper. So bottom line if you want a pair for the gym and on the go these beats are perfect if your going to be wearing them for more than a few hours go for the over ear Bose , Sony . Etc the skull candy over the ear I was actually thinking of as well as Best Buy has them on display. The build quality on these is excellent as well I must say these are not your cheaply plastic made beats from the past they are solid
Jun 22, 2021 14:31I purchased my Ivory Solo Pro headphones in December. Overall, I have been very satisfied with the satin gold Solo3 headphones that I already have, and I decided to get another pair for work. I was originally going to get a second pair of Solo3, but I chose these because they were on sale and the Solo3 had risen higher in price anyway than when I had got them about a year and a half ago.
Sound - The sound quality on the Solo Pro headphones is excellent and the noise cancelling works effectively. I prefer to use the noise cancelling rather than not. With noise cancelling on, it lasts approximately 20+ hours or so. Like the Solo3, they do last about the same when noise cancelling is not on, at approximately 40 hours. Both headphones have good battery life - obviously, the Solo3 I charge less often due to no noise cancelling.
If you are still considering Solo3, honestly, they have just as good of sound, sans the noise cancelling. Soundwise, I can recommend them both.
Fit - overall, the fit on my Solo Pros are better. The Solo3 hurt pretty bad on my ears the first couple weeks when I initially bought them, but the Pro has larger ear cups which overall feel much more comfortable.
Frame - The frame is sturdier. It's honestly a really great design from Apple/Beats. I noticed that the Solo3 are a tad more flimsy when folding/adjusting, etc. The Pro headphones are overall more hardy than the Solo3.
Color - Currently, there aren't as many color options with the Solo Pro as there are with the Solo3. I chose Ivory for Solo Pro, and really like this color. See photos. Very sleek ivory color.
Case - the case the headphones come with is more durable, so if you drop your headphones the case for Solo Pro provides better protection.
As a whole, as an owner of both Solo Pro and Solo3, I would recommend the Solo Pro for sure if you're willing to spend the extra money. Solo Pro are less clunky as well. Instead of pushing and holding a button to turn on/off, you just unfold/fold them. The Bluetooth "jingle" when connecting is also less annoying.
Better design, better design, and a little better sound quality overall.

I have an iPhone so the Beats as soon as I open the headphones automatically connects to my iPhone whenever I’m ready to listen to music! I can see why they are so popular - The sound is loud and you can tap to the beat of any music choice whether from Amazon Music, Pandora or online!
They fit snug on your ear! And tight to a certain point you have to take them off if you don’t give them a break and not fitted properly on your ears and head.
The Beats come with a case! The case is very nice for something that is high quality!
Pro: Music is loud and Good Fit! Connects to phone automatically
Con: From far away if someone is calling you to get your attention you can’t hear them.
Nov 26, 2020 03:01These new Beats Solo Pro are great. They sound amazing, with that immersive rich and clear sound that Beats is famous for, but one change they made to their signature sound is that the bass has been toned down a bit since they've been criticized that they focus too much on that sound feature, but they still sound awesome. Along with that great sound they have two sound modes controlled at the press of a button, Noise Cancelling mode which blocks out all noise and creates a deep immersive listening experience, and when cut off it switches to Transparency mode which feeds in limited external sound so that you can still hear your surroundings while listening to music.
I also really like the new matte color scheme which is a change from their initial glossy and shiny designs, it makes them vibrant and pop and they are still as cool and trendy as ever.
Lastly, the feature I love most is the battery and power. To Power On/Off all you have to do is fold them open and closed, no more Power buttons, folding them open and you're good to go and once you're done just fold them up. It's really simple and smart and as someone who is constantly forgetting to turn off my devices and then draining them, this is really a cool feature to have. They have a 22hr battery life and up to 40hrs if you cut off Noise Cancelling and Transparency mode, but when you need to charge them they have this Fast Charging Feature that after 10min of charging will give you 3hrs of battery life. So you're gonna get a ton of use in between charges.
The only bad thing I can say is that it uses the Lightning Cable type cord a.k.a iPhone cord, instead of the growing standard Type-C, but that's to expected since they're owned by Apple.
Overall these are great headphones and a must have for those that want great sound without compromising on style and power.
Dec 14, 2019 15:47Beats EP on-ear headphones delivers masterfully tuned sound. Its battery-free design offers unlimited playback and its sleek, durable frame is reinforced with lightweight stainless steel. Beats EP is an ideal introduction to Beats for any music lover seeking a dynamic listening experience.
Got these as an open box at half the price. I was skeptical at first but took a chance. They were rated open box excellent. Took some time to get delivered due to the holidays. I was impressed when I received them and they had everything in the box.
Jan 08, 2021 16:31Not good quality the adjustment piece in headphones broke 2 days after purchase Best Buy would not refund or exchange
Mar 29, 2019 17:40Got my beats at a good price , one of the reasons why I shop at Best Buy
Aug 11, 2017 20:08haven’t even had these for a month and they have already broken. only used for zoom meetings smh
Apr 29, 2021 10:33I purchased 2 pair of these headphones 1 blue 1 black, within the first week I had to toggle the cord on the blue pair to get the sound to play in both headphones. By week 2 I was experiencing the same problem with the Black pair. Along with the aggravation of having to toggle on the cord to get the sound to play the bass is not what you would expect from Dre beats. I'm not sure if I just so happen to be the person that bought 2 pair that had the same problem or if this is a technical issue on this model headphones. Now the kicker is the headphones are never really comfortable in after about 1 hour they go from uncomfortable to painful. I had purchased the solo's a few years back from hh greg in I had a overall wonderful experience with those. I ordered 2 pair of Studio's earlier today so I'm hoping to have a better experience.
May 14, 2017 22:09Headphone for two months and the plug broke. So Sad
Aug 29, 2018 17:35Plug broke off two months after buying. Now I know why Best Buy’s tries to sell warranty’s
Aug 29, 2018 17:37Do Not Buy !! I purchased a black pair and a white pair of these headphones from Best Buy. The headphone jack broke off after a few uses. This happened to both pairs. I’m highly disappointed and will not be purchasing from this brand.
Dec 29, 2018 23:02Get inspired with Solo Pro noise cancelling wireless headphones.
Feb 23, 2021 21:11Beats By Dr Dre is Awesome! Got it on Sale During the Holiday sale!

They fit snug on your ear! And tight to a certain point you have to take them off if you don’t give them a break and not fitted properly on your ears and head.
The Beats come with a case! The case is very nice for something that is high quality!

I originally purchased the AirPods Pro but they kept falling out regardless of what combination of size adapters I put. So I changed to these since I primarily use headphones for the gym. These are so far the best wireless headphones, they don’t fall out when I do any workout, even cardio. They charge in the case and the case charges with an iPhone charger and the case holds a long charge. They pair the same as any AirPods and show up the same way. Worth the purchase.
Apr 25, 2021 22:21I got these paired with a Samsung Galaxy s9plus. Sound quality is fantastic. I love the independent functionality of these, I am a bus mechanic and my normal days are 10 hours (hopefully). I only wear one at work for safety reasons. I start at 3:30 am and I have been able to get through my entire day listening to music and talking on the phone by the time I get in my car I still have 30% or better depending on how loud I had them I normally keep the volume i would say a little over 25% in volume for me to hear the music or calls. When talking on them the call sound quality is awesome.
Jul 04, 2019 09:50The quality is much better than the AirPods but not as good as most quality over the head - headphones .
I have both AirPods and beats solo three over the head headphones . Initially I was comparing them to the solo 3 sound quality and was disappointed . However , after realizing the purpose of the headphones , and understanding how difficult it would be to achieve the same sound quality in such a small set of earbuds would be extremely hard and much more expensive. They look better than the AirPods but are not as casual/convenient .
The beats are perfect for their purpose . Great sound for the size and portability , and great functionality for working out .
Side note:This isn’t for females with little ears tho. I let a friend who is about 5 feet with small ears try them and they were much too big.
Jul 19, 2019 15:59I received these about a week ago after pre-ordering them on May 3rd. Before this I owned a pair of the Bose Soundsport Free. I like listening to music and watching videos with these headphones. My Bose headphones had a noticeable lag when watching youtube videos. These headphones did not suffer the same fate. I also like how sturdy they feel on the ear and I believe the sound quality is the same or maybe slightly better than the Bose. I have an iphone so the Hey Siri function is nice too. The only thing that I may have liked better on my last Bose headphones was the way that the crescent shaped buds felt a bit less intrusive in my ears. Other than that these are a win!
May 31, 2019 16:21The bass, the immersion, and at the price point of Apple AirPods, I don’t see another better deal and bang for your buck. I sometimes don’t even notice they are in my ear while I’m walking, with music off that is. And I don’t think I need to tell you that these are not going to fall out of your ear no matter what. The case is a tad bit on the bigger side but you’re walking around with an extra 24 hours of juice for your beats on top of the 9 hours each earpiece.
TLDR: I enjoy these and will never look back to AirPods or Samsung buds.
Oct 21, 2019 13:51I own the first gen AirPods and after using them for a while they were great but because it’s one size my ear would normally ache after a while i would have to constantly adjust. Now the Powerbeats fit sooo much better an since they have different sizes they are actually comfortable. Now the sound holy cow is night an day. The lows, mids, and highs are far better then that of the AirPods as well! I highly recommend these if your struggling over comfort and performance
Now i will say a con is the size of the case which if you look from the pictures its massive compared to the AirPods
Jul 24, 2019 13:42I am very happy with this upgrade. I have owned other Beats products so I have high expectations. These headphones are so far what I expected the comfort and quality of the material are perfect. The controls on each being Symmetrical makes things very nice only having one side as a main wasn’t fun with other units I’ve used. The quality of the sound is what I’ve come to expect from Beats. I hope the battery life doesn’t fall off with age like other products I’ve used we will see.
Feb 06, 2021 06:57The volume was great when I first purchased but less than 2 weeks later I have issues with the volume/sound quality. The ear buds go in & out. Sometimes the volume is loud & clear & other times its low & people have a hard time hearing me. I'm not sure if this is a defective set but I had a much higher expectation for the cost & manufactorer. Truly disappointed.
Aug 08, 2019 10:02True wireless noise cancelling Beats Fit Pro with comfortable, secure-fit wingtips are engineered for all-day activity. The flexible wingtip design conforms to your ear to comfortably lock in place so you can experience powerful, balanced sound during your work day or your workouts. With two distinct listening modes, you are in control of what you hear. Fully adaptive Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) uses real-time audio calibration to continuously pinpoint external sounds and optimize sound output, and when you need to be aware of your surroundings, easily switch to Transparency mode. Beats Fit Pro supports Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking for immersive music, movies, and games.¹ These earbuds are powered by the Apple H1 chip. The result — instant one-touch pairing², Automatic Switching³, Audio Sharing⁵, and hands-free “Hey Siri”⁴ for Apple devices. For Android users, easily connect via Class 1 Bluetooth® right out of the box. With the Beats app for Android¹¹, you’ll get enhanced features like one-touch pairing, customized controls, battery levels, firmware updates, and a Fit Test to help you get the best sound and fit out of your earbuds. Each earbud has up to 6 hours of listening time⁶ with 18 additional hours⁷ provided by its matching, pocket-sized charging case to give you up to 24 hours of combined playback.
I'm the guy that's known by friends and family as never being satisfied with my headphones, always on the hunt for the next best thing, trying and returning/exchanging all of the latest and greatest until I find my "it".
My favorite headphones for the longest time were the Jabra Elite 85t's. I've tried every other pair of true wireless headphones in this price range (Sony xm4, Bose QC, Jaybird, beats pro wireless, AirPods Pro, the list goes on).
The only downfall to my favorite 85t's was their lacking ability to read me my notifications and text messages seamlessly.
Decided to exchange my 85t's for these beats fit pros and I am delighted. Siri hands free messaging, fantastic ANC, fantastic and natural feeling/sounding ambient (hear-through) mode that is toggled by one long press on either headphone, sound quality is mind blowing especially when paired with Apple Music's lossless high fidelity streaming and spatial audio feature.
The spatial audio was something I thought would be a cool "check this out, that sounds pretty cool" feature before inevitably turning it back off and back in to whatever my default EQ setup was; I was wrong. It honestly has created an even more immersive, intricate, and beautiful way to listen to your favorite music. Somehow without taking anything away from the joyful listening experience, when spatial audio is enabled, the best way I can think to describe what it feels like is being front and center listening to your favorite band or artist live. Moving your head in different directions can help you to dial in and listen closer to, say, Flea (bass player for chili peppers) to hear all the tiny intricacies. It's an extremely enjoyable experience and I've kept the spatial audio enabled for all of my listening now.
Let's wrap it up by me saying this (iPhone users);
If you have any of apple's in-ear headphones and are wondering if these are the new king, do they check every box? Should you upgrade?
Yes, yes, and yes.
Better fit (all day comfort, no soreness), lock in your ears like a bank vault, they aren't falling out unless you take a sucker punch from Mike Tyson on Red Bull and adderal, so to speak. Better ANC and hear-through, better audio quality across the board (these things are LOUD), better call quality, SMALL charging case (less than half the size of beats pro wireless case, fits in pocket without any bulge) and better battery life.
Oh and for those who don't know, to adjust your EQ settings with Apple headphones (like these);
Settings -> Music -> EQ
Also, type "Headphone accommodations" in the search field of settings and experiment with turning it on and off, test the different "balanced, bright" etc etc options in there to fine tune your audio even more to your liking.
Give them a shot, you'll be glad you did.
Nov 07, 2021 09:28These definitely rival my Airpods Pro. I loved my Airpods Pro, but these sound better and stay in the ears. I also have the Bose Sport Earbuds and these aren't as bulky in the ears and the active noise canceling edges out my Sport Earbuds. The case feels on the cheaper side, but it is smaller compared to the Powerbeats Pro case, so it won't be as bulky. I have an android (Note 20 Ultra 5G), but after the app was downloaded, the pairing was seamless and the ability to toggle between noise canceling or transparency mode is awesome! I have worn them for about 2 hours now and there is no discomfort. The Beats Fit Pro feel solid and the eartips do the job of keeping the earphones in your ear. If you are choosing between the Airpods Pro and these, I would go with these. They fit better, don't fall out of the ears each time you bend over and the sound is amazing. They are definitely worth the price. I am very picky about my headphones and want amazing sound and fit. The Beats Fit Pro gives me both.
Nov 05, 2021 14:24I read reviews before purchasing and using. Tried them out today and over four different scenarios, I feel like I'm still on the fence. I do like the size, versus my PowerBeats Pros and the pocket sized case was forward thinking. The... cheap feeling case, especially compared to the PBP. The feel of the headphones is solid, connection (Android), especially with the app is stellar. The sound is crisp, but also a bit tinny for Beats. I have a half dozen pairs and my PBP are still my favorites. The wing tips work great and the app settings make it better. Long distance wearing seems like it won't be an issue.. they just don't get as loud as I'd like and at the top of the spectrum, the bass thins out. I just want more, especially for two bills - after $150, expectations change. I feel like for most people, this is a winner. But for me, I'll try on my Samsung Galaxy Buds Live again, which do not have a better long term fit, but are definitely punchier. The sound isolation was great. I was able to block out gas powered leaf blower noise, but still, I feel like you'd need to crank whatever you're listening to in an airplane scenario. I want to love them because there are so many positives and they look great. It's like having your favorite cup of coffee made right... but it's luke warm. They do not deserve a negative review, so I am clicking, YES to the recommendation on the review page, but adding - "Wait for a sale or an open box deal."
Nov 06, 2021 20:01These Beats Pro earbuds provide really top notch sound and really prove themselves as top tier earbuds.
My current earbuds are the Sony WF1000XM3 and I really love these so it's hard for me to find a worth replacement for these. While not perfect, the Beats Pros really give these Sony earbuds a run for their money.
The thing I really dig about the Sony earbuds is the music audio. Sony has their Xbass feature in all their audio equipment and I'm a really big fan of these. Depending on the type of music you listen to, the Sony's sound better than the Beats. I listen to, primarily, EDM along with some Hip Hop. For those deep, heavy bass notes, the Sonys really come through. The Beats, surprisingly, don't sound as well in this respect. Beats are usually bass heavy but these Pros are not quite as boomy as I would like. However, if you listen to other music types like jazz, classical, pop, they sound much better on the Beats than the Sonys. The range on the Beats is superior than the Sonys for sure. Highs/mids sound so much clearer and crisper on the Beats which is great. Again, depending on the type of music you listen to, the Beats may/may not be what you're looking for. However, the Beats Pro are a sure bet either way.
Another big pro the Beats Pro have is with the transparency mode. With my Sonys, whenever you activate transparency mode, the music gets muddled and things just don't sound as crisp. The Beats Pro do a far greater job in this area compared to my Sonys. With transparency mode on, the music and surrounding sounds are really clear and no muddled sound. Taking a walk through my neighborhood, I could easily hear all the notes in the music as well as carry on a conversation with people without missing a beat. Whenever we get back to the office, this will be a huge bonus for me when traveling the subway. Might not be a huge thing for some people but this has been one of those things that has bugged me with other premium earbuds.
The Beats Pro also is, quite possibly, the easiest to pair with my iPhone. Obviously since they're owned by Apple now, you'd expect this but, pairing the earbuds to my iPhone was almost immediate. With the lid open and near my iPhone, the phone picked up the earbuds and walked me through a 2 step process to pair them. No holding buttons for 5 seconds or anything like that with these. really simple and easy way to get these paired up with your phone.
Overall, really impressed with these earbuds and quite impressive functionality.
Nov 08, 2021 09:38First of all the noise cancellation is crazy good!!!!! The bass is crazy and the transparency is good. I see why some say transparency is better on airpods but i personally think the beats fits pros beat them in every category EXCEPT the mic! Which i personally dont care about as long as it sound good on my end but some people care. The mic is good/okay with background noise but not better than the airpod pros. As a women i have small ears but the medium and small tips fit me pretty good right out the box and comfortable plus they dont move! It doesnt feel like tm ears are clogged. No ear tip test needed but im glad they provided it. I noticed an immediate difference as soon as i started playing the first song. Overral 9.5/10. I got the airpod pros yesterday and they are good (except not comfortable and dont stay in like sometimes) but not even close to these!!! Definitley returning the airpod pros. As for the case - people say it feels cheap, i dont think it feels cheao but i will say its not heavy like the apple case. At the end of the day it doesnt bother me as long as the earpods are protected. And yeah the charger is definetly annoying but it dont matter. In conclusion, if youre looking to replace the airpod pros with these do it! If you just got the airpod pros recently but have no probelms with them then might as well keep them they are still great just not as good as beats. And if you really do care about mic quality and like the airpod pros transparenecy mode then dont get them and stick with what you have. Noise cancellation 10/10 coming from a new yorker who couldnt even hear the train coming.
Nov 09, 2021 17:37I’m impressed! They fit great and seem very similar on size ratio and sound compared to the AirPods Pro which I also have.
Most of everything feels the same; noise cancellation and transparency, which in the AirPods is by touching the stems but on the Beats Fit, a slight clicking on either side pressing the b logo.
When you unbox the product, there’s simple instructions on pairing and using the iPhone , shows quick tips on how to use; similar when pairing AirPods for the first time.
They feel fine. A minor drawback is just getting used to fitting them in your ear that if you adjust or push them one of your ears, and click the button it will pause. Just click again to play.
Regarding differences; It has no wireless charging and uses usb -c only, and it comes with a short usb-c cable. If you have a usb c power block (for example the chargers for the 11 pro max is usb c with a usb -c to lighting cable). Then you’re fine; otherwise you’ll have to invest in that or use an available port on your laptop / desktop if they have usb -c ports, or get a modern power strip that has one.
Since this product is new, there isn’t yet any accessories I can find like a protective case for the charging case at this time yet. So we’ll have to be on the lookout.
I have owned previous beats products in the past, the Beats X and the Powerbeats 3 (which were corded between the left and right earbud, and they were defective due to sweating proof issues and got defective then (and I used to go to the gym a lot then but now covid has shut down my gym and so I just take walks and don’t do much sweat intense activity as much as I used to).
I do believe beats/Apple has taken serious precaution taking their time with the design and durability of these, learning from any flaws with previous beats headphones. I hope these will work for a long time.
Nov 08, 2021 21:50These earbuds are very similar, if not the same as the recently released Beats Studio Buds. I asked myself what made this $50 more than the latter? The winged ear tips, sweat & water resistance, sensor placement between charging contact points, and additional mics place around the body of the earbuds. This is more geared towards an active lifestyle while the Studio Buds are for casual listening. Both provide ANC, Transparency, and Spatial Audio. Audio sounds powerful & balanced. The charging case is surprisingly small from what the stock photos suggested on Best Buy’s website. It’s like the Powerbeats Pros case scaled down. Actually with the mention of Powerbeats Pro, this product is a nice complement to that line.
Nov 05, 2021 23:05These are almost perfect for the price. The gray really stands out and is nice. Solid sound, great bass, and overall good. Compared to the airpod pros with MagSafe case I returned, these are way more comfortable in my ear and sound is a tiny bit better but it is slight.
Only reason for 4 stars is due to no wireless charging. USB C is nice to have, but the lack of wireless charging at $200 is ridiculous. All the other features is enough for me to keep these but Apple listen up, release a wireless charging case we can buy for these.

Apr 27, 2021 22:32The sound quality is amazing. I love the noise canceling as well as the transparency mode. Very comfortable! Worth the money. Wish they came with a hard case instead of a soft case
Nov 13, 2021 08:38these are popular but they seem to break easily and even though purchased the protection plan bestbuy doesn't service beats.. which I didn't know when i bought the warranty

Feb 19, 2020 22:50Making the switch to Bluetooth beats has been just the ticket! My teen likes the freedom, to move, connect, and listen more easily.
Jan 18, 2018 11:29Love Best buy installed this for me. Great add on. Professional services.
Jul 29, 2021 09:05We bought these as a gift for our 13 yr old. She loves them and often tells us how much. They fold easily so she can tuck them in her backpack. She uses them on her walks to and from school. She also uses them with all her electronics. The black is nice because they always look clean too!
May 12, 2020 10:55This is the first time I've bought refurbished headphones and they work just like new. (Keep in mind I bought one that had a new condition) but it's just like buying a close box headphone
Aug 16, 2017 23:13Was hesitant because it was a refurbished beats don't regret purchasing it. They look and work as if they would be brand new.
Jun 21, 2017 18:32This is my second time purchasing these headphones. The first time they broke after 3 months, made very poorly. The second time I purchased these were for my 11 year old and she seems to love them and they have lasted a while. I personally don't think the sound quality is all that great but good enough for a kid.
Apr 23, 2021 19:27These were a Christmas gift for my son and he was blown away! They are incredible!
Jan 14, 2021 11:29Designed for your life, urBeats³ earphones with Lightning Connector feature an optimal ergonomic fit that combines sleek style with Iconic Beats sound for all-day wear. A variety of eartip options provides an individualized fit for noise isolation. And when you're not wearing them, the tangle-free flat cable and magnetic earbuds easily coil up for compact portability.
I bought the first set of beats because I wanted a set with the lightening connection so I wouldn’t have to keep buying an adapter for my set of Beats with the headphone jack that Ive had for over two years. They work just fine but I wanted to get away from the adapter. Whoa, shortly after buying the first set they started shorting out. I returned that set and got a second set. Now the second set has started doing the same thing. I had intended to return these the first of the week but something important kept me from doing so. I got this set on 9/9/2019 but it says the date to return them was 9/23/2019. Now I’ve got this set of earbuds that are not working. I don’t know why 2 pairs of the exact same earbuds as I have except for the connection being different ( headphone jack verses lightening connector) have shorted out so quickly after purchasing. I bought the protection plan so I’m hoping this will either allow me to get my money back or another replacement set. I bought the set with the headphone jack from QVC and they are still working fine. What is it with the ones I bought at Best Buy that they’ve messed up so soon after purchase. Does Best Buy sell seconds? Or is this the same product that QVC sells and I ejustgot a bad pair twice? I know that there’s always a chance of buying something that got by a quality check and it’s just not right, but come on two pairs that have gone bad just shortly after purchasing. Either I’m the most unlucky person shopping at Best Buy or something just isn’t right. Maybe there’s a reason the best price for these Beat earbuds was at Best Buy. Not sure what the problem is but I’m starting to wonder about purchasing anything else there. I added 2 pics, the earbuds and the Vera Bradley tech case they are kept in when not in use. The ones I bought at Best Buy didn’t come with a case like the ones I got from QVC.
Sep 27, 2019 20:14I’m old fashioned so I love having the wires on my ear buds. It works well with my iPhone and iPad. When worn it does close noise when listening with it. I wish the buds weren’t removable, but that’s just my preference. I like the original buds to the iPhone then the buds they provided for the beats buds. I still like it and it’s comfortable just be cautious about the buds falling out or getting shut in the canal of the ear. I wanted the red ones but they didn’t have red ones they all sold out so I was left with white or black. I got the black ones wish there was a case to these so the buds won’t get lost. Overall everything is nice about them they do what they are suppose to. The price was ok because I got it on sale instead of it’s original price. Love that it has a mic too.
Feb 20, 2021 17:06Not really happy with this beats just so simple but fine
Jan 10, 2020 20:03I own the "high performance bluetooth beats" and I would say if that version's sound is equal to 10/10 then these ones are like 8.5/10. the buds are super soft so sometimes there is a slippage effect unless you jam them in there. I also have small ears for the record. I bought these to use instead of the apple headphones and to use incase my bluetooth ones need charge. the voice quality when someone is listening to my speak is good in these ones. I haven't had any problems. the two little buds have magnets right on the b logo so that way they don't tangle. they will stick to your fridge lol i put my head near my fridge when I was just listening through one bud and then the dangling one kind of sucked to fridge and when i went to walk away it pulled the other one out of my ear lol but that was really minor inconvience. the cords dont get tangled because of the magnet so its honestly pretty legit. the apple ones are not good at all in comparison to these ones.
Sep 12, 2020 02:43Theses Beats are awesome . Works on both Apple and Android . Nothing beats the sound quality. Make sure you look for difference in connectors for Apple or Android…while purchasing…
Oct 20, 2021 03:06When it come in terms of "Which wired headphones do you want for your latest iPhone?" Well, there's the quick and simple answer of the Apple headphones, or their alternative of the urBeats3. As far as quality goes, they are about the same as the Apple headphones because they share similar technology in their design. urBeats are just the earbud version of the Apple headphones, but with a brand name. If you don't like how the normal Apple headphones fit in your ears, Wired or Wireless, Beats is the other brand that Apple offers you as the alternative.
Apples : to : Oranges (Beats)
EarPods : urBeats
AirPods/(Pro) : BeatsX/PowerBeats/(Pro)
AirPod Max : Beats Solo/(Pro)/Studio/Pro/EP
I preferably favor Beats more due to their ear fit over Apple headphones.
Mar 02, 2021 05:13I purchased to replace an older set of Beats earbuds. What I liked was the consistent sound quality, decent bass which was not over-bearing, great for pop music that I listen to. I also liked the soft earbuds, which makes for a better fit than the standard Apple Earpods and the lightning connector was a plus, no longer need to carry an adapter. What I didn't like was the cord noise. When there's no music, and you move, you can hear noise from the cord. Not much of an issue when you're listening to music, but it's problematic when making a call especially since the other party also hears the cord noise on their end. To be fair, sound quality is good if you're not moving, but the whole point is to be mobile. Needless to say, I am not going to be using this for phone calls. One other negative is that there's no carrying pouch, which was a disappointment since my previous purchases of Beats and other higher end brands included a case or pouch. Bottom line, great for music at this price point, but not for making calls.
Apr 19, 2019 17:52These headphones are quite good. Although not noise-canceling, they are really good at it. The previous iteration of these used to have a nice pouch to carry them but now Apple is cutting corners and not including them anymore. Not good value for the money that's charged so wait until they go on sale. They're a good $30 headphone (much better than the standard iphone headphones!) but not worth paying $59.

Sep 12, 2020 02:43When it come in terms of "Which wired headphones do you want for your latest iPhone?" Well, there's the quick and simple answer of the Apple headphones, or their alternative of the urBeats3.
Mar 02, 2021 05:13Convenience to that o the plug-connection. Only setback is having to disconnect to charge. Great idea all-the-same....
Nov 20, 2021 15:57Excellent earbuds , the sound is incredible!!!, different ear sizes to fit any ear type , pairs perfectly with Apple Music new Dolby sound !!!
Nov 16, 2021 01:17I purchased to replace an older set of Beats earbuds.
Apr 19, 2019 17:52Stay connected to the world you love with all-day wireless Beats Flex earphones. In your ears or around your neck, they're as versatile as the life you lead. With up 12 hours of battery life², you'll always be ready for whatever the day (or night) may bring. Enjoy rich, powerful sound with both accurate bass and low distortion across the frequency curve. Magnetic earbuds make listening that much easier with Auto-Play/Pause¹, playing music when they're in your ears and pausing when they're connected around your neck. The Flex-Form cable provides all-day comfort with durable Nitinol construction while four eartip options offer a personalized fit. And when you're not wearing them, the magnetic earbuds keep Beats Flex tangle-free as they easily coil up into your pocket or purse.
Awesome alternative to AirPods (I don't like the way they fit my ears). Also, I prefer the wire between headphone design to prevent me from losing them. Also, I can't find another brand of Bluetooth headphones to work well with my iPhone.
Jun 04, 2021 19:17I was ready to hate these…the in-ear headphones have always bothered me. The option of different earbud tips, though, made all the difference in the world! I highly recommend trying these, even if you’re skeptical like me! :)
Aug 19, 2021 15:24Well i wasn't expecting mind-blowing bass in this the lower end of the line of in ear beats but whelp darn I'm more then a little bummed about the quality of sound. Goes to show good sound is lb for lb worth it in the audio world.
Jul 21, 2021 10:00These headphones are amazing and for the price your can't beat it
Dec 29, 2020 05:39Got these as a gift and they love them, I haven't heard them personally but they say they sound great!
Feb 19, 2021 23:34If I could give this negative stars, I would! First, you have no way of charging this item because the plug is not a standard USB. You have to buy a different adapter to be able to charge this! Dumb, dumb, dumb! Then I spent the next ten minutes trying to keep it in my ear. I was so frustrated that I almost got back in my car (within the hour of purchasing it) to return this and the wireless Beats Pro that I bought with it!! Absolute waste of my time.
Feb 19, 2021 17:11The beats flex is not as good as the BeatsX. The mic is on the neck band so if you are working out the mic will get wet. Also there's no noise canceling.
Jan 15, 2021 17:27Got a amazing deal on these beats headphones with there price match and payed only $39.99 and they sound amazing and quick connecting from my iPhone to my Mac and even to my Apple TV to listen privately at home I recommend it and I’m a fan of apple products and there wonderful and simplicity use of there products and they always keep there work and stick to what they believe so highly of Security and privacy so must I say anymore

Dont buy these if you expect them to cancel out voices!! I cant hear people talking ONLY if I am listening to music, if I only have noise cancelling on I can still hear voices. They have awesome sound quality though. They don't always fit in my ear but I don't mind because its better than being overwhelmed. I use these CONSTANTLY, almost every single day for at least an hour, and I charge the pod maybe every other week? The battery lasts forever, and they have never died on me. I got the red because the color was easy to find if I lost them. Overall, I recommend these for anyone who just needs quiet. For the amount I paid (100) they are SO worth it. Others cost hundreds that I don't have and am not willing to pay, so this was awesome. And the refurbished- you cant even tell they were pre-owned- seriously. all brand new. anyways, if you're wondering whether to buy these or airpod pros- as someone who has used both- here's my opinion
battery wise- go with beats
noise-cancelling wise- go with airpod pro
price- beats
quality- beats
overall-beats
if you're willing to pay more, I guess you could get the airpod pros but honestly I'm glad I didn't invest in them. The beats get the job done for far less, and plus- beats is a headphone company.... apple is a phone company. also! beats developed the noise cancelling technology that apple uses anyway!
Nov 04, 2021 09:17For Earbuds, they sound pretty good, not heavy on bass, but very clear and crisp on the highs, i love the design of them, nice quality to them, for being refurbished they feel like new :) but note, they do have a slippy finish to them, might need to get a case for them soon hehehe other then that solid ear bud
Oct 23, 2021 15:48They came refurbished. Did not have the medium silicone tips. I use the large ones and they do sound very good. I like bass.
Oct 28, 2021 16:09the are good earbuds the noise canceling could be a whole lot better on them however all and all a good buy
Nov 03, 2021 12:05Amazing earbuds and bass. And this is my everyday gym and work headphones and get the job done.
Nov 05, 2021 16:52Happy with the product and price paid. I use this item daily:::I’m ready for the upgrade.

I got theses for my wife and she love them but two days ago the Wright one keep saying it’s on 1% and the other one is on 100% what do I do to fix it? If anybody know let me know Thanks...
Jun 27, 2020 00:55I was pretty shocked by the quality of the product. It was packaged as if it was new from the factory. The package had that fresh Chinese plastic scent which was pleasant to see. When I connected the headphones to my phone, they were called “Dads Powerbeats Pro” so that’s the only sign that they had ever been used. I wonder if that was a real dad or some dude calling himself dad. Either way for $99 it’s a big dub
Feb 20, 2021 18:38Perfect brand new condition overall sound quality and battery life is amazing and protective charging case is great I basically love these because AirPods and oem Apple pods that come with phone do not fit in my earlobes because the slip and fall right out these beats go over the ear so they and fit perfect
Feb 21, 2020 20:19Love these my second pair
I lost one ear bud
Still holding hope it will turn up

Nov 06, 2021 10:05I received on 3-23 and opened on 3-26 to notice the color was actually orange, maybe I missed something in the description but I know dang on well LAVA RED shouldn't look anything like orange or a tangerine color..very disappointed in the color, I can't imagine what the other colors describe actually look like in person. Shoot I thought I was color blind for a few minutes...view the pics below and be the judge for yourself
The sound and fit or perfect
Mar 26, 2021 21:01These are the best wireless earbuds I have ever owned. 119 $ referbished. Can't beat it. I guess I got lucky cause. They were like new. When I got them
Jan 01, 2020 21:25After sometime with the Powerbeats Pro,
I come across some issues that I thought only I was having. For starters, I bought mine brand new, if i'm not mistaken. The Lava Red, is not red, it's orange. It's a little misleading and makes it look like you have a hearing aide.
The first issue I had was after fully charging both pods, my phone constantly told me the right ear bud was at 0% but my mac said it was 99%. They often interfere with each other. I can't use my phone and my mac at the same time. If I'm watching something the mac and pick up my phone, it automatically switches to my phone. I know I can just turn blue tooth off, but this wasn't an issue when I had the regular airpods from apple.
The distance thing is weird too. With the regular airpods, I could roam about freely in the house without any cut off. These however are so weird. If I cover the bud with my hand, it loses connection. that's weird to me. Never saw that coming.
The PROS
I wasn't blessed with the best earshape so pods of every kind I've tried them all. These will stay on. I often lose my buds but everytime I fell asleep with them on, they're just chilling on my ear still. Dead battery but that's not the point.
I really like these headphones. I want to give it five stars but I just can't. The only 5 star thing about it is the buttons it has and the form around the ear. Everything else is just basic.
I still recommend this to anyone who don't use the phone much. Always on the road and has trouble keeping ordinary airpods on.
Oct 18, 2021 03:10Pretty great quality for being refurbished, I’ve had my Doubts but so far so good the beats work just like brand new and literally they look brand new I highly recommend it .

Just like new. Box and everything that comes with it. Thrilled because the deal was beyond a steal. Great Christmas gifts! Can’t wait until they release more at this awesome price! Sounds is amazing!
Dec 02, 2020 20:38This earpiece arrived faulty. I’m returning it. Can’t hear a caller on it.
Mar 15, 2021 10:14I love my new headphones! I used to have the JLB wireless headphones, but every time I would use them while working out, the music would change randomly. The sensors would go crazy if sweat got on them. BUT these headphones are amazing! I no longer have to worry about my sweat skipping any songs. The ear pieces are great, I love how clean and white they are. They sound so much better than my old ones! So happy I made this purchase.
Oct 06, 2021 09:32This Beats wireless earphone sound quality is excellent. I love wearing it and using all the time during walking. Earphone is strong, robust well built and it is high quality. I am having Android phone and I think I am missing out on many features like voice assistant, auto power on/off etc, but yet I like this product for it's robust sound quality. One issue I am facing is that even after trying out all the three ear buds sizes, it does not fit firmly in my ears but again since it has curved outside shape, I am able to use it and enjoy the best sound quality eventhough often I need to adjust the earphone on to my ears. I may be ok with this issue for the sound quality which is so good. Excellent product.
Dec 19, 2020 07:14As an owner of the previous generation, I'm loving this next generation too. Where they moved the volume control is great. Play/pause, skip forward and backward button was a great addition. Working good on Android. Only took a little bit of time to figure out where to press the right b on the earbud to get play/pause, skip and back.
Aug 10, 2021 09:25Connected to tv amazingly.. mom was pleased... noised cancelled great also, tried to get her attention for 15 mins! Yay!!!
Nov 05, 2021 21:47I guess my daughter loves them. She never takes them off. Plus she’s super quiet and I don’t have to hear her arguing with her sisters or complaining about how there aren’t enough seitan products for her to immerse herself in the world of vegetarianism. I’m a meat eater so I’ll never be able to 100% empathize with that one. Overall, I’d say we’re all satisfied with this purchase.
Mar 27, 2021 10:41Was looking for wireless earbuds was able to find these on sale. Awesome price as well as an awesome sound.

Great bass, and they fit...long life battery! What else do you need for Beats earphones that make you look like a boss and hen you wear them....and I got them with BesT Buy Credit Card Points! Bonus....
Apr 19, 2019 15:55Easy to connect, works awesome with my iPhone X, and I really like it.
Feb 08, 2019 16:34I purchased these 11 months ago for my daughter for Christmas and they stop turning on out of nowhere but they showed fully charged when plugged in which told me something was wrong electronically. They have a one year manufacture warranty therefore we return them to Apple Inc. They founded ONE " small scratch " on the charge casing/ port and because of this, they denied the warranty repair/replacement UNLESS we wanted to pay up to $100 for them to make a repair....what a worthless product and worthless warranty!!!..
Dec 01, 2018 20:00These are so bad. They sound just like any regular earphones. They fallout off my ears easily, especially when I’m working out. It got a break in it a few months after purchase, called apple and got a warranty replacement cos it was less than a year old. A month after the replacement there was another break in it.(so with the break, the Bluetooth keeps disconnecting from your device, I guess cos the earphones keep going on and off). So went and got the AirPods Pro. So far those have been good. It’s a waste of money. Would not recommend. If you search online you would realize the break is a general problem.
Dec 30, 2020 08:55The product I received was used, you can see dirt inside the earplugs and marks of use. It even was previously paired, when I connected the device another person's name appeared.
Disgusting!!!, I'm going to return the product and I'm probably deleting my account on Bestbuy.
When I contacted Customer Support they did not resolved my problem and their solution was completely useless.
Dec 25, 2020 17:48Headphones shipped to me with a “NG” sticker on it making me feel really skeptical about opening the box because where i work anything labeled “NG” means “No Good”. Sure enough headphones died during my bike ride 45mins, Fully charged. Thought it was a fluke so charged them that night and sure enough about 45 mins in headphones die again. Very disappointed with this product because i was coming from a very cheap headset before these and those out work these 100x due to them never failing me. Not recommended at all
Dec 14, 2020 20:52But need to be improved on distance, the distance short and hour of duration also needs improvement to 12hrs. It doesn't last 8hrs
Mar 09, 2019 00:27I just received this earphones today but it's not turning on..
Nov 25, 2020 20:18True wireless noise cancelling Beats Studio Bud are made for music. Designed with a custom acoustic platform, Beats Studio Bud are engineered to deliver powerful, balanced sound in a compact, in-ear form factor. The result — immersive sound that pulls the emotion of music from the studio to your ears to keep you inspired. These earphones feature two listening modes, Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) and Transparency mode, to give you total control of your sound. Each earbud has up to 8 hours of listening time⁴ with two additional charges provided by its pocket-sized charging case to give you up to 24 hours of combined playback.⁵ Beats Studio Bud also offer simple one-touch pairing for Apple¹ and Android² devices.
I've owned a few pairs of AirPods over the years, but this is my first pair of Beats-branded headphones or earbuds. AirPods have always been a bit difficult to use with non-Apple devices, and Apple appears to be trying to fill that gap with these new Beats Studio Buds. They are missing a few nice features that you'd get with AirPods, but they also offer a great value for the price.
PROS:
- On iOS devices, the Studio Buds behave much like AirPods. They are recognized by my iPhone as soon as I open the case with a pop-up for instant pairing. You can see the battery percentages of the buds and the case in your notification center and also control the noise cancellation mode through Control Center. The Studio Buds appear in the "Find My" app in case you lose them. You also get Spatial Audio, allowing you to experience the new Dolby Atmos tracks on Apple Music.
- The Studio Buds provide the most Apple-like experience to Android users compared to any other Apple or Beats device. They support the new Google Fast Pair standard, so they instantly pair with your Android phone when the case is opened for the first time. There is a dedicated Beats Android app used to adjust noise cancellation settings.
- The Studio Buds are surprisingly compact and comfortable. Unlike AirPods, there is no stem that sticks down, and the buds protrude only slightly from my ears. I've worn the Studio Buds for many hours now with the pre-installed medium ear tips and they are very comfortable. After a few minutes, I hardly notice them. I also went on a run with them and they stayed nice and snug in my ears.
- I like the fact that both buds have physical buttons to control play/pause, fast-forward/rewind, and noise cancellation/transparency. Both buttons perform the same functions, so there is no need to remember which button to push to perform a certain function. Even better is that these are actual, physical buttons that you press - not touch controls that might not work with sweaty hands.
- For the price and size, sound quality is rather impressive. These buds include active noise cancellation, although it seems to be more of an afterthought (more on that below). The Studio Buds have plenty of bass, but I've certainly used other buds that pack more of a "kick." The sound profile overall is very crisp and balanced, with nice separation of mids and highs.
- The case charges over USB-C, which will be welcome news to iOS and Android users alike trying to minimize the amount of cables they carry around.
CONS:
- Beats and Apple make a point of calling these "active noise cancelling" buds, but the noise cancellation is very minimal. I hardly notice a difference when I turn noise cancellation off completely. With it on, I can still hear a lot of ambient noise like typing on a keyboard, traffic noise, and voices. I can't imagine these would do very well on an airplane. On the other hand, "transparency" mode works pretty well and should serve you well for holding quick conversations with the Studio Buds in your ears.
- The case does not support wireless charging, something that seems to be somewhat standard in premium wireless earbuds.
- Your music or content does not pause when you take the buds out of your ears. This was surprising to me given how Apple is usually very attentive to details like this.
- If you have multiple Apple devices, these will not automatically switch over from one to the other when you start playing content.
- Microphone performance is poor, at best. People on the other end of my calls reported that I sounded "far away" or that my voice was distorted. In louder areas, the mic pics up a lot of ambient noise.
OVERALL:
The Beats Studio Buds offer a nice step up from Apple's standard AirPods, especially for Android users. I prefer the design of the Studio Buds to AirPods, but there are some Apple-centric features missing like automatic pausing and device switching. I also found the Studio Buds more comfortable than standard AirPods with a more well-rounded sound profile. Apple users who want the full Apple experience may want to look at the AirPods Pro, but for those who are willing to sacrifice some small features - including Android users - the Beats Studio Buds represent a nice compromise and a good value. Recommended!
Jun 29, 2021 13:55--- SETUP ---
The Beats Studio Buds are easy to connect. Keep them in the charging case, go to the bluetooth settings of your device, and when you’re ready, open the Beats case and the device will recognize them. They come pre-charged so you can use them right out of the box. Alternatively, if your device supports it, you can do the one-touch pairing by click on the center button inside the charging case.
--- FEATURES ---
Two listening modes: Active Noise Canceling (ANC) and Transparency mode, 8 hours on each earbud and two full charges with included changing case for a total of 24 hours before recharge is needed, small case, one-touch pairing for Apple and Android devices.
--- PERFORMANCE ---
The ear buds perform phenomenally. I took them for a stroll at a local mall, which was loud. I could clearly tell the difference between the active noise canceling (ANC) feature on and off. What ANC does is, it prevents ambient noise from interfering with your music. It’s like listening to music in a vacuum. The music itself sounded great. The base was deep while the voices were crisp and clear for all of my song choices. I didn’t have to raise the volume too high to be able to enjoy my music, thanks to the ANC. Initially, I had to keep adjusting the ear buds because I felt they were going to fall. I decided to sit down and change the ear gels to the smaller ones and after that, they felt more comfortable and secure. The buttons on both sides of the earbuds have the exact same function, so whichever ear you go and press will do what you want. 1 press pauses the music or answers phone calls, 2 presses advance a track, and three presses restart a track. Holding down the button turns ANC on/off. Speaking of phone calls, I was very clearly able to hear the people who called me on the phone while they were able to hear me clearly as well. I found this impressive, as the microphone is all the way to my ear.
--- EXPECTATIONS ---
*CASE*
The case is sturdy and has a magnetic clasp. I got the red beats, so it and the buds look stylish and stand out anywhere I go. They charge with a USB-C cable. The case can provide 2 8 hour charges plus the 8 hour charge in the buds for a total of 24 hours of use. A 5 minute recharge will give you 1 hour of use. The case is not waterproof and won’t stand on it’s own but rather lay sideways.
*Earbuds*
At first, it was a bit confusing on how to wear the earbuds. The packaging does provide instructions on how to put them on and it wasn’t initially intuitive. The earbuds are light and easy to charge. They are magnetic and will automatically stick in their right place in the case. For the best fit, try the various ear gels provided to find yours. The only feature I miss compared to my previous buds are that these do not have an auto-pause feature. What that does is that when you remove one of the earbuds, the music pauses until you put your earbud back into your ear. Another thing I didn’t like was that you can’t turn the earbuds off without reinserting them in the case. This is a useful feature because sometimes, the case isn’t readily available to you, like at the gym.
--- VALUE ---
For the price, you are getting good quality sound for 24 hours straight before having to recharge them.
--- APPROVAL ---
These are stylized, light earbuds that will last a long time. I recommend these for the audiophile in the family to be used in light activities such as walking or lite jogs, but definitely not for fast paced activities.
Jun 26, 2021 19:28I’ve been using these Beats Studio Buds exclusively for the past 4 days and its been a mostly pleasant experience. I haven’t owned a pair of Beats headphones or earbuds since before Apple bought and took over the brand. I remember Beats being very loud and bass heavy back in the day, I also remember them not being very comfortable for extended use. These Studio Buds are a great example of how the brand has evolved and improved in the years since Apple acquired them. The charging case is very elegant , I love the look and feel of the case and earbuds, It has the universal USB C charging port, which any person can take advantage of regardless of what your OS of choice is. They pair with an iPhone just as easily as the apple AirPods and you’ll get the same battery widget on your phone to keep track of your earbuds battery life. I didn’t get to try them on an android phone but Ive read that you get the same software support on android with them. You may have to download the Beats app on android though. The active noise cancellation on these buds is pretty impressive. I work in an environment where noise easily reaches 100 decibels and they did a solid job of keeping out the noise. I have a window a/c unit in my bedroom and these earbuds completely cancel out the loud white noise it makes. I couldn’t even tell it was on while listening to music.
I think sound quality on these earbuds is quite good. They are well tuned, I wouldn’t say they have the typical Beats heavy bass that drowns out every other tone in a song but the bass is still there. I feel the bass drop in my ears without it completely destroying the mids , highs and vocals. I listen to everything from classical to metal and they handle every note well. I would recommend these to anyone looking for an excellent set of wireless earbuds. They sound great, and they’ve worked flawlessly. No issues with Bluetooth connection, no disconnects, and battery life is great. I juice them up every other day and they haven’t let me down. And they look great! If you’re trying to decide whether or not to buy these go ahead and grab a set of these, I think you’ll love them as much as I do, I am honestly surprised that these are being sold at this price.
pros: Sound great, look great
Comfortable to wear for extended use
Great active noise cancelling
No connection issues and compatible with Android or iPhone
Cons: No complaints from me
Jun 29, 2021 19:31Item is great, for the size… there are better options out if youre willing to go slightly higher but the only real complaint i have for the studio beats is the fact that it takes a few seconds to grab the buds out of my ear.
Nov 07, 2021 08:13Bought 08july 2021 and have already stop working charging everything. So disappointed I really liked them. It was because of wear. I have a 2nd pair black I alternate and over the ear for workout.
Nov 06, 2021 16:32THAT BASS!!!!! You can hear and distinguish the miss from the highs and the lows are just HITTING!!!! I love these beats almost more then my power beats pro. Keyword, “almost!” I really like the compact case, it just needs wireless charging to be perfect. I barely notice that it’s in my pocket cause of it’s compact size. The silicone tips are soft and fit good, well almost. I have to use the smallest tip on the left bud and a medium on the right due to my left ear canal being smaller. I installed the extended double bud tip from my power beats and both of the studio buds fit perfect and sound great! However, I had to change the tips back cause they don’t charge with the double tip on and in the case. I really like the noise canceling and transparency features. I think the price point is good for the sound, fit, compact case size and noise cancellation.
Jun 27, 2021 16:58Love my beats! Couldn't be more pleased with my new Studio beats earbuds. They work flawlessly with all my electronics. From my Samsung watch to my Apple ipad they're so easy to pair with multiple devices. I use them while watching movies on my ipad, with my watch during workouts, & my phone when driving. The noise cancelation is fantastic, when I'm wearing both earbuds & have this feature turned on the whole world disappears.
Sep 18, 2021 22:09Beats with dre never disappoint you if you considering it for music the only issue i have it the way it fits in my ear, a bit swety you be its harder for it to stick in but overall i would like to give 4 star and would definitely but it on competition with airpods series

Good reliable workout headphones. Great for going for. Bikes rides since they’re connected and secure. I had to adjust the tips to smaller ones for a better fit, but I do like the fact that u can take them out if you go into a store or run into someone and they’re magnetic so they’ll click together on ur chest so u always know where they are at! As far as battery life and sound etc
Battery Life 5-5*
Sound 4.0-5* only bc they aren’t the loudest you’ll find but that’s really the only knock I have the rest is golden imho
Nov 16, 2021 04:26These are a little wonky. When you first plug them into your ear you won't hear the audio right away. Gotta give it a second. Otherwise work well.
Nov 29, 2021 12:16Easy charging usb-c type. The magnetic earbuds are Super convenient. Helps preventing loosing it when not wearing them.
Nov 14, 2021 11:19Good for small ear canal and never drop and lose the ear tips.
Sound is ok. Functions are simple and easy to use.
Nov 06, 2021 14:31Got them at a great, refurbished price. They work very well. Good quality sound. Very comfortable. Easy to use.
Oct 20, 2021 14:19Work great, will buy again. Worth the money. Uses them for few months.
Oct 19, 2021 22:50I think that these are great! They definitely block out surrounding noise. I did many tests after receiving them today and so far they’re living up to the Beats name. Would purchase again and recommend.
Jul 08, 2021 20:05This is the best head phone ever I have.In my Experience this is a good thing that I have to use it makes my life better.

I own 2 pairs of Beats and wouldn't trade them for the world. The Studio beats block out all the surrounding noise while still delivering great sound but I got these refurbished and they looked like some kid beat them death for a year and returned them. They were all scratched up and chipped. Needless to say I returned them also.
Apr 23, 2020 09:56This is a very nice product that also links well with a iphone
Oct 12, 2021 13:27I was a little bit nervous on buying this product due to the fact that it was a “refurbish” Best Buy item. But I must say it was the best decision, you save money and you get a good quality product back by warranty.
Aug 17, 2021 11:58Got these for my son and in the words of a guy who needs reliable equipment for streaming, these head phones are the best he’s ever had!!! He’s tried several pair and asked why he didn’t get these sooner.
Aug 01, 2021 08:44Headphones a lilttle loose but they will get the job done.
Oct 26, 2021 14:16My son uses this head set at school for language lab
Oct 15, 2021 16:57Great product, I bought these because they work really great for plane rides and helps with my ears popping due to air pressure.
Jul 09, 2021 16:14Worked great but the refurbished ones I received where broken and falling apart returned and bought brand new pair

Had to wait a few days to ship; spent 30mins to travel to pickup and it doesnt turn on. Left it "charging" overnight and same issue. Tried another cable and same thing. I was looking at the manual and it suppose to turn red when charging. Makes me feel like geek squard does not test these before selling.
May 13, 2021 23:41My Beatx arrived Saturday and I opened them today for work and there is no sound coming out of the product. This is such a disappointment because the shipping process took about 2 days and to open them up today and they do not work is crazy. Why sell refurbished items that do not work? These were still expensive and the expectation is that the products work.
Oct 21, 2019 23:53I bought this headphone at the end of February and have been lightly using since then. I really liked the sound quality, battery life and easy to use. But, today, I found that left side earbud is broken during normal use and unusable.
Is this covered under factory warranty?
Jun 17, 2020 21:53The sound coming from them is amazing!! Love them. I got them because my other ones won't stay around my neck but these don't go anywhere and I am really pleased with them.
Dec 18, 2020 16:55Headphones with onboard noise cancellation contain built-in microphones to pick up the outside racket
Nov 17, 2021 16:15Overall a good product, easy to use at the gym…great sound
Nov 18, 2021 14:20The item came with everything that was said was included. Only problem was that the battery to the headphones didn’t last... they are refurbished though so wasn’t expecting much but they only lasted about an hour.
Wouldn’t really recommend... at least the refurbished ones.
Sep 13, 2019 16:02My first pair continually disconnected and was let down by the sound quality. Took them to Apple Care, they shipped them out for inspection "could not replicate the issue" and sent them back. The disconnection issue persisted. I exchanged them at my local BestBuy (thanks guys). The beats stay connected when I'm sitting at my desk or walking around indoors and my replacement beats sound much better! Perhaps the first pair was a lemon, BUT they DO NOT stay connected while outside in the winter. Fit is alright, I recommend picking up some wingtips, creating a more secure fit. The cord shape keeps the buds around my neck. I mainly purchased these headphones for skiing, but they do not stay connected during this activity. Would not recommend for outdoor sports. Yes, I have tried all of the troubleshooting recommendations (rebooting, resetting, repairing, updating firmwear).

Oct 27, 2021 16:16Love these headphones! They broke when I dropped them probably a foot from the ground, completely snapped the left ear phone off and they still work but are dangling by a wire or two. I have owned countless Apple and beats products and I love both of them… I am sure the Apple care that I purchase will cover any of these issues.
Aug 29, 2021 02:50Can’t be beat for great acoustic sound and noise reduction. My son is autistic and can’t be without them. They provide optimal reduction in sensory stimulation.
One issue, they usually break in the same place (hinging joints) in around 6 - 9 months... strongly recommend extended warranty! Even with this defect, unable to find a better product.
Feb 15, 2020 19:51I bought these mainly for my daily walks. I live in the city. Even though the parks are tree sanctuaries, I wanted to block out the sounds, listen to soft music and enhance my time in nature. These sealed the deal. The noise cancelling is my jam. I wear them around my house as I’m going about my day, answer calls on them and am purely pleased. Worth every penny. Hooked them up to my laptop as well. Bingo. They work on Zoom calls. Thanks Dr. Dre!
Dec 04, 2021 23:16When looking into editing headphones, i wanted to also make sure it had noise cancelling. I did notice that these are slightly smaller than I thought so I recommend seeing them in Person but these are a great alternative besides the Air Pro Max’s!
Dec 08, 2021 13:38As a radio host I will not work with out them. Don’t care about wireless although that’s great I need the cord to plug into the studio system...And the sound of my voice in my headphones gives me a more accurate feel for what they hear in my voice...trust me it’s different
