I bought this for my car. My cars radio antenna wire broke the end off. I didnt want to pay for a new car antenna so I went the cheap route and bought this antenna, It doesnt work as well as my original car antenna did and it picks up less radio stations, I also have it just laying on the dash and not mounted outside of the car so that probably makes a difference but I couldnt get any radio without it so its better then nothing. 10 dollar quick fix for my broken antenna.

This was a great replacement for my stock motorcycle antenna. The OEM antenna was extremely long, unsightly, and seemed constantly in the way. This replacement is shorter, less noticeable and picks up stations within a larger range. Overall, this was a definite win, win, win purchase.

The antenna works great but it didn't fit on my husband's car exactly so it sits kinda crooked on his Toyota 4runner and was a little difficult to install.

I have a Toyota with an amplified rear glass antenna. I always got great reception with my factory stereo, but when I installed an Alpine receiver with HD radio I could not pull hardly any stations in. I installed this antenna above my rear view mirror, and problem solved. Now I get about as good of signal as I would expect and finally can put my HD radio tuner to work. The only problem I had was that the antenna cable was short. Luckily I had an extension, so it all worked out.

This universal antenna is not at all what you people say it is. The reception with this devise totally sucks! Would not recommend it to anyone especially for what the thing costs! Very disappointed with this thing. Not even heavy enough to use for a paper weight!

wrong antenna, It was supposed to be rubber universal,it was steel universal and did not fit on side mount

What I got doesn't resemble what I received , thought I was buying an antenna for the scanner I bought.
