I was a little hesitant to get this for my work Surface Pro but it works flawlessly. My husband picked it out for me because my color is pink (survivor). I love my wireless mouse!!!! It fits my small hands perfectly and makes for a great travel buddy. It has rubber grip sides that’s a great touch (no pun intended). This is a must for anyone that appreciates adding a little happiness to your day!
Nov 19, 2021 19:44Love it. A little smaller than the previous wireless mouse I had to for 10 years, this one fits my hand better and I don’t have pain. It is fast and accurate. And definitely cute!

Dec 15, 2021 12:22Very nice design, easy setup and very small mouse for to go
Nov 15, 2021 18:34Sensitive mouse. I was about to return because I did not see a USB in package. I even went to a store & asked an associate. They couldn't tell me. I decided to open the cover 1 day & there it was.
Works great. Came with battery.
Dec 07, 2020 09:46We're longtime fans of all sorts of Logitech accessories--mice, trackballs, webcams, keyboards...we've run the gamut across many of Logitech's product lines and always come away happy and impressed. Thankfully, the same can be said here--this latest entry into the wireless compact mouse Design Collection (our second actually--that's the "Cosmic Play" pictured below next to the new "Chirpy Bird") is another winner!
I typically wear an XL in men's gloves so the mouse feels pretty darned small (though still immanently usable) under my fingers. But for travel, it's positively perfect! The mouse stows neatly in a small laptop pouch or backpack pocket without taking up too much room, and yet it comes with everything you need onboard to get mousing no matter where you might be--the USB nano-receiver stores neatly under the battery cover when the mouse is not in use, and the battery itself will very likely last close to/more than the promised 12-month charge cycle as the batteries in all our other Logitech compact mice have EASILY gone several months or more without needing a change.
Tracking performance is excellent and has proven ideal for mousing on the go--I have yet to run across a working surface that the mouse hasn't tracked well...I even used it directly on top of my covers and blankets when I had my laptop unfolded in bed for some home-office work or a bit of Netflix chilling while I was sick. Thankfully, the mouse easily and effortlessly serves double duty for both the Windows and Chrome operating systems. Installation was plug-and-play without any manual intervention (at all!) on both our Dell Windows 10 laptop and our Samsung Galaxy Chromebook--I just plugged in a low profile USB-C to USB-A dongle, plugged in the even lower-profile nano-receiver included with the mouse, and within seconds I was mousing without wires on either device. Even better, you don't need to install a huge, resource-hogging software client (or log into another app or program with an account of some kind) to get things working--nice!
Mousing action is reassuringly solid--left and right clicks aren't hard or stiff, but they do register with a satisfying tactile 'click' rather than just a mushy and indistinct depression of the mouse button. Scrolling is also very easy with detents in the wheel mechanism offering enough haptic feedback and light resistance to aid in precision scrolling--you definitely won't feel like you're just free-spinning the mouse wheel without any fine control over the results on the screen. Overall, this mouse has delivered on everything promised and everything we expected--definitely recommended if the size (and graphic design) suits your needs!

Oct 31, 2021 20:30This mouse is great I love it I really like the satisfying click sounds it makes 10/10
Apr 23, 2021 15:09Had this for few weeks. It's good for what it is. Plug n play. Computer detects right away. No hassle. It's responsive and move fast. Feels pretty good too. If you're looking for silent mouse, this is not it. It's very 'clicky'. Just a heads up. For me, it serves the purpose. Hope it'll last long tho. We'll see..
Nov 12, 2021 18:55It works nicely so far and meets my needs for the great price paid. I am very happy about it. Hope it will last long.

Dec 03, 2021 16:02The Logitech G PRO Wireless Gaming Mouse is designed to inspire League of Legends players. Featuring LIGHTSPEED technology, PRO Wireless overcomes the limitations of latency, connectivity and power to provide rock solid and super-fast 1 mms report rate connection. The ambidextrous mouse is also equipped with the next generation version of the HERO sensor. HERO 25K is the highest performing and most power efficient gaming sensor that Logitech has ever made for pixel precise targeting. An incredibly lightweight endoskeleton and ergonomic design improve maneuverability and comfort while removable side buttons and programmable LIGHTSYNC RGB lighting give you the ultimate in mouse customization. Part of a collection forged by magic, tempered by science and wielded by champions.
I am strangely picky about mice. I can't stand Bluetooth mice because the latency, and the imperfect tracking drives me crazy. This mouse supports Bluetooth, but also supports its own proprietary wireless mode in conjunction with an included USB adapter. My last mouse was a razer pro click wireless, which supported these same modes, but it was white and didn't match my new PC setup. I tried the Logitech MX master 3, but I found it's wireless adapter mode to perform no better than Bluetooth (poorly), so ended up returning it. Unlike the MX master, this mouse performs excellent with its wireless adapter.
May 21, 2021 19:47As an owner of the FinalMouse Ultralight, Logitech G Pro Wired, Roccat Kone Pure, etc etc- I have my fair share of experiences with mice. Despite it's high price point I was confident in my purchase given Logitech's stellar track record of hardware.
What I opened once it arrived was a mouse that truly is setting a gold standard. The wireless technology is unmatched on the market, the buttons have a satisfying click to them, the RGB is minimal and not obnoxious, one if not the top sensor on the market and all bundled into 80 grams. An insane feat to achieve.
I have a 20cm by 9.5cm hand size with a fingertip grip, the mouse is rated as a medium size so if you're looking for a large mouse, this may not be for you. It's also skinnier than the average mouse, perfect for me but maybe not for you. The best bet is to take the plunge when you see one and give it a few hours of use to decide. It's going to take a lot from the competitors to sway me away from this mouse!
*Photo uploaded is to show the sizing compared to the wired G Pro and G303
Sep 08, 2018 14:07These are great mice. i mainly use my two Gpro mice for gaming and editing photos. I have one for my mac mini and one for my amd machine.
The feel of the mouse and the responsiveness i would not give up, i went as far and got a 3rd one for my office at work.
Nov 17, 2021 00:30I have been using the G Pro Wireless for about 2 weeks now. I have gamed with it, worked with it, and made it my daily driver for this time period to get a good feel for it. My normal work mouse is the Logitech M705 Marathon mouse (used for over 7 years now), and my original gaming mouse was a Logitech G602. I love wireless mice, and refuse to use wired because I hate dragging the cord around. That's what drew me to this mouse. The super fast Lightspeed transmitter really makes the difference, and I had no discernible input lag. I am also a sucker for RGB peripherals.
When I first pulled the mouse out of the box I honestly didn't care for how it felt in my hands. The outer shell felt too smooth to me. The G602 has a textured outer shell and the M705 has a rubber coated shell. I had always preferred a textured/grippy outershell for any mouse I used. I got used to it pretty quickly, but it was off-putting at first (mostly due to callouses on my hands not feeling any grip). In the end I got used to the texture and had no problem gripping it - the shape of the mouse is really comfortable which helped. The next thing I noticed was how light this mouse is. 80 grams! My M705 is 135g and my G602 is a whopping 152g! Even my kids' little M325c weighs 93g, and its tiny! I never noticed how heavy my mice were until I started using this mouse. It's insane how light it is. Several of my gaming coworkers commented that it felt too light for them, so I let them drive it for a half hour each. When their half hour was up they were much more open to it, so maybe it converted them? The weight of the mouse just lets it become an extension of your hand vs. a paperweight you drag around. It really disappears, and the shape is ergonomically pleasing.
Most of my time was spent using it for work - I spend 8+ hours a day at my work computer doing 3D CAD modeling, as well as CorelDraw, and database work. These last few weeks I have been churning out a lot of new models and drawings, so I have been clicking and moving this mouse around like a madman. In my past experience with my M705 I would experience wrist and index finger fatigue from this level of activity. I didn't feel that at all with the G Pro Wireless (GPW). The lightweight (80g) body of the mouse just kind of melted away and made it easy for rapid movements around my model. The LMB click weight is also super light, and vastly more responsive than my M705 and G602. I can honestly say that I have gotten finger cramps in the past from working like this, but the GPW never left my finger feeling strained. My only complaint for office work is the lack of Hyper-Fast Scrolling that my M705 has. That is a super handy feature when doing database work, but I know the weight of the Hyper-Fast wheel is a penalty for a mouse trying to be as ultralight as possible.
For my time spent gaming I played Far Cry 5 and Overwatch. FC5 doesn't necessarily need an ultralight high-speed mouse, but I wanted to play it the last few nights ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. The jump from my G602 to the GPW was dramatic. My god the weight savings were so beneficial - being able to easily flick the mouse with no effort was awesome. The Hero sensor is so much more accurate than the sensor in my G602. I always had trouble being consistent with my shots using the G602. I can tell my accuracy has been sharpened with the Hero sensor. I can run at a higher sensitivity now, and still be accurate whereas before I would find myself overshooting my onscreen target. That lightweight LMB click was so crisp in comparison to the G602, that I got back into using McCree for my hero for the first time in a while. I found it difficult to use the right-side rear button in practice (I'm right handed btw), so I swapped out the button for the 'flush' mount button. It was pretty easy to setup a game profile in the Logitech Gaming Software, so I assigned the side buttons (and disabled the one I swapped out) for my Overwatch profile. PC gaming stuff isn't supposed to be this easy to work with, but here I am happily playing my games with a new mouse without a care in the world.
For my gaming sessions I picked up the Logitech Powerplay mouse pad that wirelessly charges the mouse. I played games with and without the wireless charging weight, so I could get a accurate impression of its effect. The wireless charging disk on the bottom of the mouse adds about 10g - still a svelte 90g for the whole mouse. After a couple of hours playing with and without, I honestly couldn't tell much of a difference. The extra weight barely registered on my performance in Overwatch. I did fiddle with my DPI settings to account for the change in weight, which I think softened its effect on my games. Also, the RGB on the mouse syncs with the RGB of the pad - very nice.
Overall, I am really enjoying the G Pro Wireless. The only drawback I found was the lack of Hyper-Fast Scrolling (like in the G903), but I can get over that because there are several great features that make up for it. If you are a serious gamer with equally serious reservations about wireless, I would say that the GPW can assuage those fears. Good luck and happy gaming!
Oct 02, 2018 23:04Very dang good mouse. Should of went wireless a long time ago. Great for FPS games and all shooters no lag just a perfect mouse.
May 14, 2021 15:25This mouse is the lightest mouse I've ever held. So if you are looking for a light mouse, this is it. About how fast it responds, well, I don't notice a lag, but I didn't notice a lag with some cheaper wireless mice. But I'm assuming it's doing its job because this is Logitech and I doubt they would lie about its speed. The reason I didn't give this mouse 5 stars is because I don't think the price is justified in the mouse for the following reasons:
(1) Button Placement. This mouse only has two side buttons on each side, and they are placed in positions that I didn't find comfortable (I was used to playing with a mouse that had 12 buttons on the side that were in much easier to reach places). If you are used to the positions on these buttons based on previous mice you have used, then this shouldn’t be a problem. But as for me, it really hurt my hand to get my thumb to move to those positions. I'm now proficient at it after 2 months of using it and it no longer hurts.
(2) Accuracy. I didn’t notice a difference between this mouse and other mice that are much cheaper, with regard to their accuracy. Maybe I'm not pro enough to evaluate this mouse in this regard. I am only rated 3400 SR in Overwatch (Diamond), I've never been to Masters or Grand Masters. Maybe one of them should write a review in regards to its accuracy, because as for me, I don't notice a difference. All this talk about a 16K accurate sensor, it might be that accurate, but I can’t tell it apart from cheaper mice.
(3) Don't get tricked! This mouse is reported to have a 1ms response rate, which is on par with wired speeds, but what they don't tell you is that the reason it has 1ms response rate is because they have a USB extender attached to the wireless receiver, that you must place within 20 cm of your mouse to achieve those speeds (about 8 inches). To be honest, that kind of defeats the purpose of having a wireless mouse. Also, the booklet does not go into detail about whether the front of the mouse must be within 8 inches, or the whole mouse has to be within 8 inches (I provided pictures so you can see what that looks like). Based off the drawing, it seems like only the front of the mouse has to be within 8 inches, which in this case, is actually not that bad if you are already used to playing on medium sized mouse pads. I am one of the few gamers who needs an XL gaming pad due how spread out my arms are when I game. But, if you think you can keep all your mouse movements within 8in of the wireless receiver, then this shouldn’t pose a problem. I just don't like that they hid this fact in their promotion of the mouse. Seems a little deceptive.
All in all, I decided to keep the mouse because I really hate wired and because I have the cash to burn. But I don’t think a lot of gamers think $150 is burnable money on a mouse, so in that regard, I don’t think the price is justified in the tech specs. As a result, I only give this 4/5 stars.
May 20, 2019 20:13Way overpriced, like all Logitech products. However, Logi always puts out top of the line quality with their higher tier peripherals. If you dont mind spending $100 on a mouse, i highly recommend this one.
May 21, 2021 18:25It's everything I've ever needed. My tower is in a weird place so I needed a wireless mouse. It's amazing on every level.
Apr 09, 2021 15:28A new standard of comfort and precision. Logitech's most advanced trackball for trackball enthusiasts and consumers searching for alternatives to mice and touchpads. Delivers 20% less muscular strain compared to a regular mouse. MX ERGO PLUS features a unique adjustable hinge and extra 10° wedge for customized comfort and the latest tracking, scrolling and power management technology. Logitech FLOW enables effortless multi-computer control.
The Logitech Ergo M575 cordless trackball is a fine solution to the problem of limited desk space and it is a valuable accessory for every laptop user who is frustrated with the inaccuracy and clumsiness of trackpads.
My opinion on this trackball may be a bit biased because I just love Logitech products – they are always superbly engineered, are packed with great features and have always given me long and very reliable service.
Logitech was founded in Apples, Switzerland in 1981. Its first product was a computer mouse in 1982 that was adopted by several computer manufacturers (including Apple.) Later it was the first company to offer a replacement mouse to the consumer market. Logitech introduced wireless mice, optical mice and trackballs. By 2008 Logitech had produced over one billion mice.
The Logitech mouse was followed by a wide variety of high quality products including a handheld scanner, keyboards, a digital camera, webcams, speakers and microphones. It acquired Harmony, the industry standard for programmable multi-equipment remote control devices, in 2004, then purchased Ultimate Ears, a creator of outstanding Bluetooth speakers, in 2008, bought Jaybird, a premier manufacturer of very fine Bluetooth earphones, in 2016 and most recently, acquired Astro Gaming in 2017.
Here are the key features of this great trackball:
• Logitech Ergo M575 wireless trackball mouse TR0006, (receiver C-U0008)
• Ergonomic comfort design for right-hand use
• Dual connectivity (Logitech Unifying USB receiver or low energy Bluetooth)
• Wireless range approximately 33 feet
• Powered by 1.5V AA battery (included)
• Typical battery life: USB receiver - 24 months, Bluetooth connection – 20 months
• Includes 2.4 GHz USB unifying receiver (stored in battery compartment)
• Trackball compatible with Windows, MacOS, iOS, Android, Linux operating systems
• Functions: trackball, left/right buttons, back/forward buttons, precision scroll wheel with middle click
• Trackball resolution adjustable from 400 dpi to 2000 dpi
• Engineered to perform more than 3 million clicks accurately
• Trackball is easily removed for cleaning
• Logitech Options software to customize mouse features and vary resolution (tracking speed)
• Dimensions: 3.9 inches W x 5.3 D x 1.9 inches H
• Weight: 5.1 ounces
• Made of 50% recycled plastics and packaged in paper products from FSC certified forests
• One year warranty
The Ergo M575 is positioned, in both price and features, between the entry-level M570 trackball (which is about half the M575 price) and the top-of-the-line MX trackball (which costs about twice as much as the M575).
Logitech designed the Ergo M575 with beautiful ergonomic details which allow you to comfortably rest your hand on it while it cradles your little finger and provides your thumb with a nice position on the trackball. There is a subtle grooved texture on the palm rest and the right side (where your little finger would grip) as well as a non-reflective, anti-slip black matte texture coating on the main body of the trackball. This very nice exterior is compatible with Logitech’s premier MX line of pointing accessories.
The trackball itself is positioned and sized to allow efficient, accurate cursor manipulation. Just to the left of your index finger are two programmable buttons (typically assigned to back/forward). Your index and middle finger rest on the large primary left and right click buttons. A precision scroll wheel between the left/right buttons can be used for other functions (such as magnifying/reducing the size of text or spreadsheets). Pressing down on the scroll wheel serves as a middle button click.
The bottom of the mouse has five rubber grip pads, the battery compartment, an on/off switch and the button to change between Bluetooth and USB receiver connection. Cleverly hidden (almost too clever, because I didn’t find it at first!) in the battery compartment Is the unifying USB receiver. I have other wireless accessories which connect with a USB receiver so I don’t need to use this one, but having it stored here is a nice bonus in the event I ever need another USB receiver.
For me, the three most important aspects of the Logitech Ergo M575 cordless trackball are the ergonomic design, the choice of connection (USB receiver or Bluetooth) and the customization flexibility provided by the Logitech Options software.
Research studies have confirmed that trackballs can alleviate the risk of carpal tunnel syndrome. Once you get used to the basic thumb control, you will appreciate not having to move your right hand all over your work surface. This is also great for those with small (or very cluttered!) desktops. The ergonomic design of the M575 has been given very high marks by tech industry comparative reviews.
Having a choice of Bluetooth or USB receiver connection gives added versatility. If you have a tablet or a PC with limited USB ports you will appreciate the Bluetooth connection option. It has a small penalty in battery life (20 months vs. 24 months for the USB receiver) but the connection speed and sensitivity is essentially the same. I used the Bluetooth connection with an Amazon Fire tablet and it worked perfectly. If you have a smart TV with a web browser and Bluetooth connectivity this trackball would be a great replacement for the clumsy navigation afforded by your TV remote.
Finally, the great Logitech Options software gives you the ability to remap the function of the buttons and customization for specific applications. But its best feature is the control over tracking speed/sensitivity which it provides. First time trackball users usually complain that they have to move their thumb too much or that the cursor moves too quickly. You can eliminate these problems by adjusting the tracking speed. The Options software allows you to set the tracking speed/sensitivity from a low of 400 dpi to a high of 2000 dpi. Somewhere between these two extremes you will find the best setting to give you accurate and quick control over your cursor. With the correct tracking speed this trackball is more than adequate even for the most stringent demands of Cad-Cam and Photoshop duties. You can also use the Options software to change the button assignments to defaults appropriate for the application you are working on.
The model that I tested was a very attractive black (graphite) but the Ergo M575 is also available in off-white – a nice choice for those who want to color-coordinate their computer accessories.
One last point. If you can afford the extra cost, consider upgrading to the Logitech MX Ergo Trackball. It does everything the M575 can do and adds a number of other nifty features. In fact, look at all of the Logitech MX accessories (keyboard and mouse). All are superb and you can read my Best Buy reviews of the MX Master 3 mouse and MX Keys keyboard for my full evaluation.
But if your budget tops out at the price of the M575 you certainly won’t go wrong. I am delighted to give the beautifully engineered Logitech Ergo M575 trackball five stars and my full and unreserved recommendation!
Jan 20, 2021 00:34I review all things Logitech because I love the quality; this trackball is no different. I haven’t used a Logitech trackball since a Kensington trackball in the late 90s / early 2000s and was excited to give today’s trackball a “spin” without the wires.
The Good:
Compact
Comfortable
Budget Friendly
Easily cleaned
Packaging - simple
The Meh:
Single computer pairing
Logitech Options software
Packaging - too simple?
The Good:
The packaging was super simple - a trackball wrapped in some thin cardboard with the most basic of instructions printed on the cardboard. A battery door on the bottom houses the replaceable battery and a unifying receiver. The software setup was easy, as most
The ergonomics are great. My arm is at 90 degrees to my desk (sitting or standing) so I’m used to a pretty consistent height, but not moving the mouse was pretty amusing for the first few minutes. After a while, my thumb was tired; my thumb was jumping around like I was on a nerve - or like my quads after a hard spin bike session. After a week of trackballn’ - I was pretty content with how my thumb adapted, but it’s still no mouse.
The footprint is small, but not tiny; the MX Master 2s is roughly the same size and shape but obviously needs room to move around. I like the somewhat familiar feeling of the MX Master 2s, but my thumb is elevated to use the trackball, vs resting at the side for the ‘show desktop’ push. As you can see in the attached photo, it’s much larger than the MX Anywhere 3 - so keep that in mind if you plan on throwing it in your bag to use outside of the office. It does have a remarkable resemblance to the G604 as you can see.
It seems as if the trackball can be easily cleaned as it pops right out through a hole in the bottom that only my pinky could sneak into - barely. “Back in my day we had to scrape lint off rollers to make the ball roll around again.” Now, the “rollers,” are so pin-head tiny, that I can’t see anything accumulating on them to need regular cleaning - but the option is there.
The Meh:
Now that the good stuff is out of the way, here are some things that I wasn’t a big fan of, even with the seemingly budget status of the trackball.
This trackball has single computer pairing, unlike MX line - that can accommodate upwards of 3 devices. With so many people working from home, the possibility of dual-using this device rises. Take me for example, I use one keyboard (Logitech MX Keys) and one mouse (MX Anywhere 3) for my work computer (Mac), home computer (Alienware) and tablet (Pixel Slate). Not being able to multi-use this trackball is a bummer.
There is *no* MagSpeed wheel or wheel release for fast scrolling. While this is offset by a middle-wheel click and roll of the trackball for Windows and nothing for the Mac. Not having the ability to click to release the wheel to a 'free-spin scrolling blur’ makes me a sad panda and the usage of the wheel feels old and rubbery.
I found that when using the Mac paired via Bluetooth LE, the M575 shows up in Logitech Options to be able to customize the buttons. When paired via the unifying receiver in Windows, the M575 was missing; when paired via Bluetooth LE in Windows, it was there. To me, this is strange as I’d expect the opposite if I were to have guessed which pairing mode wouldn’t show the 575.
I found the configurable button at the front of the left click (default, it’s the forward button) to be too far forward for my hands, which are an XL glove size. The middle of my finger is where the two buttons meet, so pushing down pushes down both - either can be pushed first, depending on how the pressure is distributed.
Do I recommend it? Sure? I guess it’d be for someone that may want to start using a trackball at half the price of the MX line. Again, the mega downside for me is the single-computer pairing, followed by the lack of a fast scroll with the middle button.

=============================
The Logitech ERGO M575 wireless trackball mouse delivers an outstanding level functionality while simultaneously providing exceptional hand/wrist ergonomics and precision cursor control at the same time. It excels in almost every task you can think off and provides a solid wireless solution for those of us who have limited desktop space as well …. the only true exception being hardcore gaming tasks and scenarios. If you haven’t given a trackball style mouse a try – you absolutely owe it to your self to see how and why the M575 delivers on so many levels … from the well-established Logitech quality/support that we have all come to know and trust – to the extremely fair price of the M575 feature set – you simply can’t go wrong.
What I liked:
===========
- Takes up significantly less diskspace compared to traditional mice
- My wrists and hands have never felt better after a hard day at work
- Logitech build quality and design is top notch and will last
- MSRP does NOT BREAK THE BANK
- Deal USB – AND - Bluetooth wireless functionality
What I didn’t like so much:
======================
- The exterior surface felt a little odd to me, and would sometimes leave a very minor fingerprint outline/mark after usage (I tried to capture in the review photos)
- lacking in significant extra customization - “only” 2 traditional side buttons for forward/back navigation (not counting the two main click buttons and scroll wheel)
- did not have the option to select scroll wheel speed/resistance to my liking

>>>>> Personal Observations after a regular usage: <<<<<
===============================================
Logitech is one of those companies that seems to have been around forever to me. I can remember back in the late 90’s/early 00’s when I first began to really “use” their keyboards, mice and headsets daily as part of daily routine and began to care about ergonomics and performance. I say this, because even though it’s been 25+ years – I have never been let down by any of their products and designs that I can think of. Speaking of the early 2000’s … that is about the time I discovered the “trackball” style mouse. Even back them when the likes of Microsoft and IBM were still making trackball devices, I fondly remember having to pop out the tracking ball to clean all the gunk and dirt out from the mechanical rollers in order to keep them going …. but I digress. I had always appreciated the precise cursor control trackball mice back then – however it was the advent of the “optical” mouse really changed the game for me, and I never really looked back or followed the trackball mouse device evolution since then.
It is for these reasons I am so blown away by the M575 …. I haven’t really given a trackball mouse device any consideration until now. It is not like I have been living under a rock for the past couple of decades, I knew trackball mice have long since switched to optical inputs, are now wireless and offer many of the same features that we have all come to know, love, and expect…but quality wireless trackball mice were seemingly priced as much as some very reputable gaming grade “regular” mice devices. To me, it was more difficult to justify spending money/time on something that may (in my eyes) may only provide a marginal increase in productivity and comfort …….. boy was I wrong.
For the price (current MSRP of $49.99) – I can’t say that is the case anymore. You get a truly “wireless” mouse – with support for BOTH Bluetooth AND a traditional USB style receiver. Again, to me this is awesome because I often switch between multiple PC devices, many of them that have limited (and sometimes NO) USB ports available for additional peripherals. Building on that functionality, I had completely forgotten how much less space is required when you are working with a trackball style mouse (compared to my traditional mouse’s 13x11 mouse pad surface area requirement). The ERGO M575 made it so much easier on my wrists after just one day as my daily driver (putting my trusty G502 Lightspeed for a well-earned/much-needed vacation). I happen to work with large databases, lines of code, and large spreadsheets for what seems likes a never-ending daily basis - and the ERGO M575 provided super smooth, ultra-precise control of my cursor the entire time thanks to the tunable (400 DPI - 2000 DPI) sensitivity rating with the Logitech Options Software (which is an optional - but you REALLY should download it to unlock all the features that the M575 has to offer).
Logitech claims the ERGO M575 will 24 months on a single battery (which they kindly include with the device) …. I repeat….2 years….with the USB receiver. Sure, you lose some months (approximately 4 months off that previous number to be precise) if you chose to operate it in Bluetooth mode, but seriously…it’s hard not to complain. I can’t speak to how well/accurate the battery life to these claims – but based on my decades of experience with wireless Logitech products – they have NEVER been really off in their estimates – so I have no reason to doubt their claims here. Some people might think the lack of having a “built-in” rechargeable battery is a bad thing … but I strongly disagree. ALL BUILT IN BATTERIES will require replacement at some point in time (depending on usage, sometimes sooner than later) and are generally NOT USER SERVICEABLE. The ERGO M575 wisely have a user-friendly battery compartment that allow YOU to choose what type of battery/cell to place inside, and enables you to provide your own brand of high-performance rechargeable batteries if you should so choose. I also dig that they include a nice little recessed spot inside the battery compartment to store the USB receiver when not in use. It is little touches like that I appreciate from the product engineering department.
As much as I appreciated everything ERGO M575 has brought to the table, it may not be perfect for everyone and ever task. As I mentioned previously, I don’t think this is the best solution for PC gaming or software usage that requires a large number of customizable buttons/presets/macros either. The M575 could also benefit from a user selectable scroll wheel (it only has the “clicky/knobby” style feel by default, but I think that is because I have become so spoiled with Logitech’s other mice that have the optional ability to use a type of smother “hyper” scroll that is much better for viewing/editing long documents/pages – so unfortunately, I kind of expect it on everything now. I don’t exactly have “large hands, and for me the ERGO M575 doesn’t “feel” too large to be unusable – quite the opposite as I have pointed out – but at the same time I felt like my hand was “resting on it” versus completely “driving” the device, however I think this is primarily due to the ergonomic design of the M575 and obvious trackball design style. Lastly, you WILL still have to pop out the track ball from time to time to get dirt/gunk/grime off of it (and possibly the optical sensors underneath it) – but it is super easy to do, and require maybe 30 seconds of time if/when that ever should occur.
==========================
>>>>> Closing thoughts: <<<<<
==========================
The Logitech ERGO M575 is a lot of mouse tech for a relatively low price. If you haven’t tried a trackball before – this is the one to get. You won’t spend a fortune, and even if you don’t use all the time – as an additional to your other standard peripherals/input devices – the times you do use the M575 – your wrists and desk will thank you for it. I have had such an enjoyable time with the ERGO M575 I really kick myself for not keeping up with the innovations and changes that Logitech has brought into this particular device field.
Jan 18, 2021 23:00The Logitech ERGO M575 Wireless Trackball Mouse with Smooth Tracking is a nice change of pace in office for various reasons. Before we get into more, let’s talk about what’s in the box and the setup. Inside the box, you will find the mouse and some simple instructions. Within the mouse, you will find a USB dongle and a AA battery. To complete the setup, you can either attach the USB dongle to the computer or push the button on the bottom for a Bluetooth connection. I decided to go with the Bluetooth connection and it went smooth.
As someone who spends a lot of time in the office, it’s important that things are comfortable and stay that way for long periods of time. Within the last year, I discovered that the standard mouse started to create forearm and elbow issues. Here’s where the ERGO M575 comes in to help things out. The tilt and elevation of the mouse helps to alleviate fatigue and strain on the arm and hand. While this model isn’t as pronounced, it still sets the hand placement at a good position. To go along with that, the added feature of a trackball helps out too. It may take a little time to get used to the thumb trackball, but it’s smooth and works well. The response time is great. Plus I can keep my arm in one place and not have to worry about deskspace either.
All in all, the Logitech ERGO M575 is a great selection for someone looking to improve the ergonomics of their desk or has limited space. With the option of simple connections, it doesn’t get any easier to set up and use right away either.
Jan 18, 2021 21:41This mouse is a modern version of the old trackman series! It works perfectly and can be switched between 2 pcs as the push of a button!
P.s. The ball is the same size as the 1990's version, which is why my ball is red in the pics!!!
Aug 07, 2021 05:45REVIEW: LOGITECH - ERGO M575 WIRELESS TRACKBALL MOUSE – BLACK
Best Buy Tech Insider Network
GOOD, BUT NOT FOR ME
There is lots to like about the LOGITECH - ERGO M575, but in the end I could not get used to it. If we assume you like and are used to this type of mouse (side mounted thumb controlled roller ball) there is a lot to like about it. It was easy to connect to my computer over Bluetooth and use right away. I like the recycled materials, long battery life (2 years), scroll wheel and comfortable fit in my hand. I could not get the speed adjusted to my taste. I have multiple monitors of various resolution and the LOGITECH - ERGO M575 seems to work best on a 1080P monitor. On my 4K monitor I had to crank the speed up very high (using the optionally installed Logitech Options software) but then I had a really hard time clicking on cells in a spreadsheet or highlighting text in a word processor with any accuracy. If I slowed down the mouse to allow for more granular selection, then it took forever to move it across a 4K screen. I found the rotation of the ball relatively stiff, but I assume it will loosen up over time.
Again, I’ll chalk most of this up to user preference and not take away points due to my preferences. Most of my devices (keyboard, mice, etc) are all ergonomic, and I know from experience you have to force yourself to use it for a good 30 days to get used to operating that device. This was just too big of hit to my productivity to invest the additional time to try to enhance my aim / accuracy.
BUILD QUALITY
Focusing on construction, it is solid enough, but seems lightweight. Possibly because of recycled materials or desire to reduce the amount of plastic consumed it just does not feel solid. The ball especially feels “cheap” more like a ping pong ball, compared to other roller ball mice I own. It is perfectly functional, just does not feel heavy duty. Most of my other mice with track balls have a heavy glass feeling to them. This has a definite plastic feeling to it. The mouse movement is not very smooth or precise.
It was environmentally packaged with minimal packaging the instructions are even printed on the packaging instead a separate paper.
PRO’s
- Compact Size (not a giant device that takes over your desk like other balls)
- Recycled Materials
- Long Battery Life
- Easy to get working and install
CON’s
- Does not feel heavy duty
- Optional Software (Logitech Options) needed to control functions like speed, did not operate correctly on some of my systems. (locked up) so I could not adjust the speed for example. Web searches reveal this is not a new problem to Logitech.
- In general, it does not feel very smooth rolling or precise that I would expect at this price point.
SUMMARY / CONCLUSION / RECOMMENDATION
I’m dropping a point from the LOGITECH - ERGO M575 for build quality and inconsistent software functionality. It seems like more of an attempt as cost reduction vs improvement. I feel this is an OK option if you are a Logitech die hard fan on a budget. Let’s face it there are not many choices out there and the competitive brand is much more expensive. If you need a precision device then you probably need to open your wallet a little wider.
Jan 16, 2021 11:28I really like this mouse. I was not sure at first, it's a change from a traditional mouse that you have to move around. it took me a few days to really get used to it and now it is my favorite, and love that it takes up so little space next to my keyboard. oh, and if you have a Logitech keyboard (I do) you can par it and only need one USB receiver plugged into your computer for both. that's a win-win for me.
Feb 21, 2021 10:41I have the older generation, and this one is a nice upgrade. It feels better, giving me more grip when using. It’s still ok the larger size, but I have big hands.
Buttons are nice and clicky, and respond well when used. The scroll ball is useful, if you have a small desk area too. You’ll like it, and it’s much less in price than my other 1st gen. It was double the price. Oh yeah, I love the color.

Switched to this as my laptop's Logitech Unifying USB receiver dongle snagged my laptop bag and snapped in half. Since my laptop has built-in Bluetooth, this was a perfect replacement. Has forward & backward browser buttons which I like and the DPI is easy to adjust. Buy it!
Nov 13, 2021 09:49I recently purchased a laptop that only has 2 USB "A" ports. Using this Bluetooth mouse frees up one of the ports to allow me to connect other items. It occasionally stutters, but once I activate the touchpad it reconnects and otherwise works very well. I like the ability to select three DPI settings and the physical size fits me nicely.
Sep 25, 2021 00:11This mouse works well. I was a little surprised when I got home with it that it is in fact blu-tooth. I thought maybe it would have a USB receiver but it doesn't. It just uses blu-tooth signal to link to your computer. Which is nice, that way you don't have to tie up a USB port with a USB receiver. I was a little concerned that it would not be as precise but it works just fine. The price is just right too.
Aug 05, 2021 19:29Very good mouse. Connects to laptop using Bluetooth. Has a page forward and page back button, that enables quick toggling on web pages. Comfortable and lightweight for travel. Only wish was that it was rechargeable but battery seems to last a long time
Sep 26, 2021 09:03Mouse works great with my Dell Computer. No problems with Bluetooth connectivity. Love that I don't have to worry about plugging in a dongle to use my mouse any longer.
Nov 19, 2021 18:24Great mouse and only for a few bucks. I purchased this for my Chromebook and it works like a charm. Small, yet functional, a must if you don't like using the mousepad.
Dec 03, 2021 17:33At first I didn't know if I would like this mouse. Such a great idea, keeps your port free, especially if you have limited port availability. Why more companies haven't done this is beyond me.
Sep 26, 2021 10:49Very simple to connect. Came with batteries, so I didn’t have to buy any. If I ever had to replace it, I’d definitely get the same kind!

I own 2 of these. No drop outs. Good feel. Long lasting charge. Highly recommend.
Nov 19, 2021 18:16Best mouse I have ever owned or used. This mouse is comfortable in the hand .
Oct 23, 2021 09:37I love this wireless mouse for it takes awhile before needing to recharge again.
Jul 21, 2021 06:27Very comfortable mouse, but struggles to maintain connection with laptop so has limited usefulness. Would not recommend, I should have gotten something else.
Dec 16, 2021 12:37Sleek build and awesome performance. Will definitely recommend to others.
Apr 09, 2021 16:10nice design with great features. I strongly recommend.
Apr 23, 2021 16:29Enjoy cordless freedom when using your computer with this Satechi M1 wireless mouse. The Type-C recharging port offers a quick charge to minimize downtime, while Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity offers wireless navigation control when paired with Bluetooth-enabled devices. This Satechi M1 wireless mouse features soft-touch navigation buttons for quick, precise tracking and an ergonomic design for comfortable all-day use.
I really like this mouse, a comfortable wireless metal one I recommend!
Sep 08, 2021 13:08I've been a fan of Satechi products for a while and this mouse is no exception. It feels like $60-$70 dollar mouse with it's aluminum build. It has a nice little heft to it to make it not feel cheap. The clicks are solid and have a nice deep tone.
The Mouse wheel feels great. It's not as good as Logitech mag tech, but feels sturdy and precise. However I have one minor complaint about it. To keep the slim profile the scroll wheel is very close to feeling flush with the click buttons, I wish it was slightly more raised to give it a more distinct feel, but this is a completely minor gripe.
Nov 04, 2021 07:33Love it. My husband bought it for me for Christmas. I am a teacher and we are virtual so I am using multiple screens. I am able to maneuver much quicker. There is no lag, it was easy to set up. I just took it out of the box, turned it on and looked at the directions and it said to hold down the bluetooth button for at least 3 seconds and I did. It immediately connected to my MacBook Pro. It comes with a cord to plug in to charge. I haven't even needed to do so yet! I would recommend to anyone that like to have a an actual mouse when using a laptop. I have used the desktop mouse before with Mac and constantly trying to fix the lag is a pain. This mouse, I have not even had to touch it!
Jan 09, 2021 15:09No complaints about responsiveness. Feels snappy on the iPad.
1 issue is the mouse pointer is very hard to see. Especially in a double monitor situation.
May be I can comfigure that somewhere.
Jul 24, 2021 15:49It was extremely easy to connect to my Imac computer. It works efficiently and stably. My only complaint: it is not high enough to fit my hand. I have a hard time getting a firm grip on the sides. I do not have big hands either.
Nov 06, 2020 23:16Third Satechi mouse in our household. Bluetooth connection works well, which is a plus for not taking up an USB for the MacBook Air which only has two USB connections. Much cheaper than the Apple Mouse, and I actually prefer the more traditional mouse feel of this model vs. the Apple.
Aug 18, 2021 11:35I was surprised with this mouse. I thought it would not be a good device, but surprisingly it works for me. I purchased it to use with my iPad, so it needed to be bluetooth. It feels great in my hand. Works well, but this mouse is a $30 mouse, it is not as good as those mice that cost over $50. I like the design and look.
Jan 24, 2021 11:10After a month the battery percentage is not showing properly, is showing a max of 42%, even it has a full charge. Contacted Satechi customer support, but had no response, that was almost 6 months.
Don's expect to have good customer service from Satechi.
Jun 18, 2021 15:59
